Speaker 1 (00:00):
Been in Skin Show ninety seven point one the Eagle.
This segment right here is brought to you by Franklin Frankel.
Those are personal friends of ours. They are advocates for
injury victims and they have been for three decades plus.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
These are the guys. They take good care of you.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
They got an incredible reputation because they've always done it
the right way. They're gonna take a personal interest in
your case to make sure you get the medical attention
you need, you get the settlement you deserve. They fight
for you, see for yourself. Two one, four in all threes.
It's our friends Frankel and Frankel. All right, coming up
here in fifteen minutes. We need to check the tape
from yesterday's show. There was a controversial Michael Jordan video
(00:36):
and one of us may have been way out of
bounds on it. That's coming up next, but right now
it's time for this.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Now it's around the Sports k TD, Bud Queens as
all the sports.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Yes, all right.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
This is from one of the first days at Rangers
spring training. Here's Corey Seeger asked about his relationship with
the recently traded Marcus Simeon and I think.
Speaker 6 (00:59):
That's things are in house people don't know about, right,
that's just all speculation. Me and Marcos had a fine relationship.
Speaker 5 (01:07):
You know, we.
Speaker 6 (01:09):
Both respect each other. We were both professional, and we
knew how to go about our business and try and
accomplish a goal and we did that at twenty three. So,
like I said, you know, you can't take that away
from us.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
Okay, every answer he said about it was you can't
take twenty three away from.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Us, which is true, you can't.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
But it sounds like those guys got tired of each
other at the point.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Yes, and again I don't know, like all the CD
details of this guy, like Jared Sandler can probably tell
you every single thing going on with it, but it
just seemed like that was a personality struggle.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
One thing that hit the media was basically there was
a lot of a little consternation and I don't know
how accurate this is or not, but that Simeon had
kind of made a comment about Corey Seeger missing some
games and Corey Seeger gets Marcus Simons famously iron Man
plays every single game, and Corey Seeger missed his games.
(02:01):
Over year, Cory Seger missed forty games a year because
of injury. He still will be a top ten hitter
in baseball. He's that awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Corey Seeger should have been like, why don't you just
set up the first couple of months, Marcus, since you
don't hit, Yeah, you don't.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Hit the Verston you show up in July, why don't
you we're kind of even. Do you think Simon will
respond to this h I don't.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
I don't know. I mean, it's hard to tell. Probably not.
Speaker 3 (02:22):
I asked somebody who would be in the know about
this when the trade happened, and he thought that the
Rangers probably think that Simon's declining at this point, like beyond,
like he's lost.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
His bat speed and he's not going to get it back.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
There are people out there that think he will bounce back,
and maybe he does because he's inspired by this, but
it could just be that he's toasted at this point
and it just can't.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
You know, it's all caught up to him.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
It's hard to mess with, like analytics on bat speed
and stuff. When you get older, you just don't have
it anymore.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
At some point. He's still good at defense and things
like that.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I had to say, persons like he is still a
great defender and a great tamate, although you'll probably start
hearing stories about him not being a great teammate.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
He's like, don't believe that stuff. Oh wow.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
So but also last year, the Rangers park just played
like a pitcher's park, right yeah, Like the offense was terrible.
So it wouldn't be hard for Simeon to bounce back
from last year and be better this year because he
was so bad last year, right yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And you know what all the knock is on Corey Seeger.
And this is always like has to do with each
different team and how they approach things. I mean, I've
heard some of these stories in the NBA too. Seeger
is one of those guys that wants his wife to
be involved with the team, and you know, generally in
sports it's like it's a guy's club and the other
guys on the team don't want the wives around. This
(03:41):
was a problem with the Spurs. I had this issue
like fifteen years ago.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
You know, it's like.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Traveling with the team, not traveling like on the plane,
but like there and in the mix, and a.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Lot of players like, well this is our world.
Speaker 1 (03:56):
No, you know, so that that that's not an uncommon
thing for teams to deal with those sorts of things
when writ when high profile players have a different view
of the world and lifestyle than their teammates, it's like
spinal tap when you know leads Here's girlfriends started hanging
out all the time for the rest of the band.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Those are like, how did your concessions that you make
in your contract too? Like you don't get Corey seeger
if you don't give him everything he wants.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
So I had no problem with anything.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
He wants to have his own trainer, medical staff, wants
to not take batting practice in front of fans.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
I do not care.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yeah, you let him go do his thing.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yes, he's hard, it's worth it.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, and we got that ring.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
That was good.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
We did get that ring. I wasn't ending the segment, No,
it was just class. So, like you know, obviously there's
the Epstein Files. There's a lot going on there. But
have you guys went over to kdfiles dot com.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
I saw this yesterday because and it really it started
with the Epstein Files. Somebody had gone out and multiple
people have gone out and figured out a way to
create a website that connects all the dots and amazing
technology with believable and so somebody applied that same type
of technology to the Kevin Durant file.
Speaker 5 (05:05):
Yeah, you can just search any name of someone like
Kevin Durant might have sets again and they're very clear
at the top, verified for editorial purposes only. This is
just digital evidence. We can't confirm that it was or
was not him. But if I just typed in, oh, Luca,
just to see h from a this is file number
(05:26):
eleven on the KD files website.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
So there's a good search function, is what you're telling. Oh, yes,
it's very good.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
Nah that blank Kai Kyrie really on his best behavior
around the European but treat his own people like we
owe him something. Oh that is from Kevin Durant, allegedly
November twenty twenty four.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
So there's a lot you can type in. How about
this one?
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Did he say this about Bill's quarterback Josh Allen. Bill's
got to think about moving Josh Allen to tied end
and getting a real quarterback in there.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Only twenty four.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
God he'd be So that's a good tight end.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
You can go through all the files talking about you
name it Drake Kendrick Lamar Epstein.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Type in Epstein.
Speaker 5 (06:07):
Political commentators on Instagram talking about Chris Paul, Aaron Rodgers,
Troy Aikman.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
I mean, you know all this.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
It's just great. Can you type in Epstein right quick?
Speaker 4 (06:18):
See he didn't have anything on Epstein yet.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
We'll see there's only thirty four files on there, which
tell us Katie burnercount thing has been.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Maybe it was an easier one to build than like
the seven million files from the Epstein files.
Speaker 2 (06:33):
All right, there you have it.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
There is around the Sports coming up next, and check
the tape. Let's reinvestigate the Michael Jordan controversy as it
unfolded on our own show yesterday.
Speaker 4 (06:43):
That's next
