Speaker 1 (00:01):
Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yes, indeed, wake up, Dallas fort Worth. This is your
new morning radio presentation, The Bennett's Skin Show Morning six
to nine AM on lone Star ninety two to five.
I'm Ben Rogers. I'm joined by my close personal friends
since the year of our Lord nineteen eighty two when
we met in Richardson, Texas. Jeff skin Wade, Good morning friends.

(00:47):
Also joined by the Pride and Joy of Olney, Texas.
He's a guy who always tries to find out the
set list before the show, and that's why they call
him Kevin setlist Turner, Kevin kt teardown turner.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
As an absolute play sure to be here, guys and gal.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Speaking of gals, the actually the only really good thing
about our show, the wickedly talented from the the Pride
and Enjoy of Crandle Texas. Used to intern for Pastor
Gary at the Cotton Gin. Ladies and gentlemen, give it
up for Christina cared.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
A little bit of bread right in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Yes, we are so getting used to this this morning thing,
and I tell you what, so far, I freaking love it.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Yeah, man, did you go home and just go right
to bed?

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yesterday?

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I did?

Speaker 4 (01:32):
They fed us cake and gave us champagne or whatever
we drink.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Yeah, I was just the excitement of yesterday, the first
show ever for us in morning Drive. I didn't sleep
much the night before, so I was pretty tired, but
I was I was just you know, just going on
the excitement of the day. And I definitely crashed and
hit a wall.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Yeah I did too.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
But you know, I'm back today and I think I'm
starting to get my clock recalibrated and good to go.
The one thing that I could not stop thinking about,
because look, we survived our first that's the main thing.
Second thing we were talking was it called a pasture
pass around? What was that kind of party that you
guys used to have, kt when your pasture party past
where the pastors from all the churches show up and

(02:12):
try to drink each other around the table.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Two completely different things the pasture pass around. Weirdly, the
pastor party way more wild than the pasture party. Did
you kind of stand there like guys like King of
the Hill in the backyard, drinking beers and tip you're
swapping around a whiskey bottle. Okay, yeah, it's a great
way to get each other sick too. Oh yeah, that's great.
Drink after your friends, right.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I think my favorite thing from the first show was
just revisiting the Earl Campbell audio.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
This made us laugh our new segment and today at.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Too Man Today coming up at about seven o four
seven five, we'll replay some funny, funny audio that's made
us laugh many many times over and just no stay
tuned for that at seven point fifteen.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Very excited about this too.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You know, we don't do deep dives into sports on
our lone star show. You know, we're just more quick, hittie,
surface level, but we do still love doing sports talking.
So we have this thing called the Haymaker Network. It's
a YouTube channel you can go subscribe on YouTube, and
we do do deep dives there. And last Thursday I
had Darren Woodson, Cowboy Great, on with me and he

(03:23):
told a little Birdie told me going into that interview,
ask him about the first time he met Michael Irvin.
And I've never heard this story anywhere else. Maybe it
exists somewhere, but somehow I had I hadn't heard it, dude,
and it's one of the wildest stories I've ever heard.
So we're going to play a snippet from that for
you today at seven fifty. But also, even though it's
a wild story, knowing Michael Irvan, it's not even remotely surprising. No,

(03:48):
I mean, it's totally on brand, but it's wild rall
not surprising at all. Another thing that happened yesterday. Now
we're we're making it clear. We have some agendas at
play number one. We want to connect with you, the
lone star listener. We want to create a long term
relationship with you. We want to connect on social media.

(04:08):
We want to let you come hang out in studio
watch the show. We want to go in the garage
and do karate together. We want to become best friends.
We don't want to just hit and quit it. Come on,
let's go long term here and at different radio stations
that we've worked at in the past, we're known as
being one of the more accessible shows. We actually love
connecting with listeners. Not all shows do, but we truly do,

(04:29):
and so we've developed some big long term friendships just
from meeting listeners. And when we were at the Fan,
I came up with this slogan called turn on, leave On,
and the idea was, man, we want you to turn
on in the morning, leave it on all day, leave
it on all night, and then the next morning you
wake up and it's still on. And so essentially here
that would be you listen to the Ben and Skin Show,

(04:53):
then you listen to Jason on the radio, and then
you're not done then because you're listening to jeff Ka
guy right, our guy and holding it down.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Yeah, and then what's on at night?

Speaker 2 (05:05):
All kinds of classic Christina playing an iconic rocket night.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Christina, you're still doing your gig over at the Eagle,
aren't you.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Okay, unbelievad I cast it.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Yeah, she's keeping two stations.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Yeah, And so it's it's one of those things where
like we want you to leave it on here too,
but we don't. We haven't come up with any slogans
or anything yet, and then I'll be damned. One of
our listeners, do you want to give me a name?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Shout out? Shout out by name.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Sure, his name's Todd, Hey, Todd at Todd.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
Yeah, And he said, dude, somebody's got to have that
Twitter handle at Todd And I'm envious of that person.
So on, when we were at the fan, it was
turn on, leave on, and none of us were smart
enough to come up with the acronym. But we were
using that slogan for a while, turn it on, leave
it on, and then all of a sudden, the listener goes, hey, man,
that's toll and we're like, what is that. I don't
understand what that is. He goes, that's the acronym. We're like,

(05:58):
oh my god, that's so good.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
And the tolos and it's still a huge thing over there,
still a huge thing.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
And I love it when people on social media will
talk trash to me and go, no, man, f you
I tolo, Like, okay, thank you.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I kind of came up with that.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I invented that. Hope.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
So a listener, an.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Amazingly brave warrior stepped forward, a warrior named Todd, our
greatest Todd were talking about Todd, Yeah, stepped through all
the chaos and confusion.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
He said, no, there will be no more confusion.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Todd will lead the way with my idea light and
he said, the new slogan shall be Toro, turn.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
On rock on, turn rock on.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
And with the sub slogan, you mess with the bowl,
you get the horns, turn on rock on, and if
you mess with us, will mow that lawn?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
For you.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
It's an industrial lawn mower. Yeah, to also make the
big green machine. That's the green machine talk trust me.
Yeah yeah, Well, I mean what the sun's not even
up right now? Now is the time to go do
lawns like you don't want it. You don't want to
be hot. You want to wake your neighbors up. So
if you have a chance, go to your lawn right
now while you're listening to our show. I will share something,

(07:12):
a personal anecdote with you now and with my words
that I speak. But you know, we know what it's
like being We've all we're all born and raised here.
It gets so freaking hot, insanely hot. And we're going
through one of those stretches right now where it's so hot.
And the other day I was talking to my wife
or in our backyard. Now, one day I went out
in my backyard. Many years ago, I used to endorse

(07:33):
our neighborhood on the air, so I had a lot
of our listeners move to our neighborhood, which was cool.
But one guy actually bought the house directly behind my house,
so we could talk through the fence and I'd go out.
I'd be like in my underwear drink coffee, like.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Hey man, how the cowboys gonna do.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
I'm like, oh, so, I'm like sometimes I don't want
to have that conversation. Most of the time I do.
So I've spent all this money in all this landscaping.
It's giant, like, it's it's over the top. If you
walk by everyone else's house in my neighborhood, they have
like a regular Ford f one fifty and I have bigfoot.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Like my landscaping is like going.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Rah, we're landscaping.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Well, I was like, that tree looks like it's dying,
and she goes uh oh. And it turned out that
our sprinkler system had stopped working during the hottest stretch
of the summer so far, and so we don't need it.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
We think it was all for like two weeks. I
don't know how many trees I lost.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Ah, it's good for the foundation.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Anyways, keep me in your thoughts and prayers, and if
you want to reach out to us on social media
with a toro, well we would love that. We're coming
for that ass RJ. But coming up next, it's the
morning news dump. We're you gonna take a KT.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
A former NFL player was arrested for having sex in public.
Next on lone Star ninety two to five.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Ben and Skin Show lone Star ninety two five. Don't
forget at eight fifteen you're gonna have a chance to
rock the cart with that Kroger gift card fifty dollars
gift card from Kroger. Be listening all throughout the show
for your chance to win at eight fifteen because we
always tie it back to the show.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
By the way, you.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Need that streaming iHeart app for so many things we
do on our show. If you don't already have it,
you are missing out. But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
Professional news reliquickly delivered by professional news professionals. It's time
for the morning news.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Jump deadmand Bailey is a guy who played for three

Speaker 2 (09:59):
Goodly bringing something in playing view, hold on Jeffary before
we get to Jeff Tedarian. Isn't that the name of
a house and house of dragons the Tedarians Targary close

Speaker 7 (10:17):
Yeah, hey there, guys, this is a talker pins, passion
and police. That's what we've got going on. Also a
bartender who had to break up a risky romance. Steedman Bailey,
a former NFL player with the Saint Louis Rams and
his girlfriend arrested for allegedly having sex inside the bowling Alley.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
In playing so friend, I get it. It's such a
turn on being there.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Yeah now also need you guys, defand she's got a
wild name. Okay.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
The girlfriend is Karina Manderson.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
It was Manderson never heard that last day. Interesting he's
not particularly feminine.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
Oh no, it's not hot.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
No.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
The girlfriend is Karina Manderson. It was at this bar
with customers around.

Speaker 8 (11:03):
Were told Bailey had his pants down and so did
Manderson and she was.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Leaning over the bar.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Bailey was behind her.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
You are going all that detail.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Now I know exactly what happened. That's good before.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Him South Florida.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
God, but didn't you just say they were having inappropriate
relations in public?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Why do you have to go?

Speaker 2 (11:27):
She was facing the other direction as if she was
riding off on a horse. They said they're bumping ugly,
so we all would have known.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
God, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
I kind of liked this visual was behind her.

Speaker 8 (11:37):
Folks at the mall today saying wow is not a
strong enough word.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
They should have kept that at home. Maybe type of
stuff shouldn't be done in the public.

Speaker 7 (11:47):
I thank while.

Speaker 8 (11:48):
We went to Bailey's house to get his side of
the story, gated no access at Manderson's house.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Here's what happened.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Oh, hikna hi. Jeff to Darien Channel ten about what
happened at the bowling Alley. The police Chris Hanson and
tried to go like up to the door.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, she said no, Why wouldn't she want to go
on the news and talk about having sex in a
bowling alley?

Speaker 4 (12:11):
I don't understand.

Speaker 8 (12:13):
The police report says the bartender at the bowling alley
noticed what was happening and asked immediately that they stopped,
and they did, and then cops say they each pulled
up their pants and left the air.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Does the bartender like it's happening. It's already happened. Once
it started, It's already happened.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
What do you need to stop it? I think you
got to stop it.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
It just had to. I didn't know what was going on. Wait,
what do you suggest You're drawing attention to it if
you try to go stop it? And I don't really
want to get close to it. I think if I'm
serving everyone else drinks, I'm just being healthy and following
the code.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
You just guys say, hey, y'all got to take that
out to your car.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Well that's illegal too, though, but take it home, get
it out of here. Stop.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Why is there a bullying elliot the mall? Isn't there
a part of it that just should also be Oh man,
this is true love.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
This is love.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
That's true love, and this is what makes the world
go around. This is how we have a population. Right,
Let's see how he wraps it up.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Guys, there we go.

Speaker 7 (13:15):
All right, Both of these suspects are charged with sexual exposure.
One thing we tried to find out during our fact
gathering today, did they actually bowl?

Speaker 3 (13:26):
We don't know. We're live in pepper Pines.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Jeffy Darien. I love Jeff. He's so good.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
What every news newscast or news report in with this?

Speaker 6 (13:36):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
It's still a mystery. Yeah, fantastic work. Jeff Gregarian.

Speaker 7 (13:43):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Coming up next. What do hul Cogan and Chris Hemsworth
have in common? You'll find out that's next.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
All right.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Before we get to that, I want to say thank
you to our partners at synergen X. They say forty

Ben and Skin Show lone Star ninety two five. All right,
coming up at the top of the hour a segment
we do called this made Us Laugh, where we go

(14:31):
back to some stuff. This really made our show collectively
giggle quite a bit. There's some funny audio of a
time that Ben went and dunked on some nubes. But
right now it's time for.

Speaker 5 (14:39):
This intentertainment, entertainment and line.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
There's been a couple of deaths from television stars that
I wanted to get into today because these guys, in
my opinion, have two of the greatest and most memorable
character names in the history of TV, and they died
within a week of each other, Skipper and Gilligan, not
Skipper and Gilligan. Unfortunately, they're not really associated too much.

(15:08):
We'll start with the most recent one. Actor Bob James,
known as Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard, died Couter.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
I don't think you got I don't think you can
say that you got to bleep that No.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
It's his name though, Cooter and Boss Hog. It's his name.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Boss Hog would be a great name for a porn star.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
That was just kidding, but also a week ago from
The Sopranos, the character known as Big Guy.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah, I don't know if you can say it's pastor
he's eighty. He was he was in his eighties, right,
he was old, maybe late seventies, he was eighty.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Yeah, you're right, he was eighty.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
I think you can say the first one now for sure.
I don't know about the second one, that it's.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
His character name.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Yeah, you can.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
You can tell just first to a little kitty cat.
So two weeks, two guys with great names, all dead
within a week of each other, isn't it aaronic? Have
you thinking who's the third? Because celebrity that's in threes?
Of course, who's the third gonna be?

Speaker 2 (16:05):
When you brought up, Cooder reminded me, I don't know
the name of the actor that played Boss Hog, and
I doubt he's still Oh he was a little guy,
right memory, he's always wearing that white suit. Yeah, I
thought he was like a little bit taller Danny de Vito, Right,
I don't think he was that short.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
I think he was sorel Brook.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
How tall was he? I'm gonna say he's four to nine.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I think he's I don't think he's as tall as
Whole Cogan, but I think he's taller than Danny Devide.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
I'm saying four foot nine.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I would be surprised if the Internet even tracks at five.
Let's get wow.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
How about that he was a tower. He's basically taller
than Tom Cruise.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
They actually added extra padding and like a fat suit,
basically to make him look bigger than he was. He's
really just a little guy. Oh. They actually made him
fatter for his role of Boss Hoks because if boss
Hog is like rail thin, that's not really impactful.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
He's not a boss or a hog.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Now Dukes have hazard admittedly a little bit before my time.
Seven five was the runtime on that TV show?

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Incredible?

Speaker 3 (17:03):
What are your memories of that show?

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Just that the general Lee was a badass car jumping
the creek and Daisy, uh the Daisy Duke's her name
is Daisy Duke?

Speaker 9 (17:14):
Right?

Speaker 7 (17:14):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Yeah, I think that was a character's name, but she's
Katherine Bach.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
I just know that she wore really tight cutoffs.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
She was in a situation where that was her prime.
Oh really, it unraveled quickly.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Oh no, like inflatable is uh do you have the
Duke's Hazard Wikipedia page up in front of you?

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Of course I all time.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Okay, so was her?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Her character was named Daisy right, yeah, okay, Yeah, and
that's why they called them shorts, them things.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
She's seventy one, living in Ohio, doing great, probably listening
right now.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
She's a big listener. Let's get her on, dude.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
She didn't listen to us on the Eagle, but now
that we're a lone star, she's given it a shot. Yeah,
thank you, Catherine.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Yeah, we appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
I don't remember a single thing she was in after
that show.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
I don't need that. Christina. Have you seen you've seen
The Sopranos? Right? No, okay, so you like me because
I watched it like three or four years ago. Yeah,
definitely worth it for the younger generation. Go catch the
Sopranos and fight through the first two or three episodes.
It's gonna be tough to get through that because it's
gonna look weird. Yeah, but once you get there, you're
good and you're sailing. What's it on right now?

Speaker 4 (18:21):
You watch HBO Max.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
Yeah, it's and it's on constantly, like if you I
still have cable, I have HBO Max, but I have
like seven HBO channels as part of my cable thing,
And an old Sopranos episode will be on like once
a week and anytime I it doesn't matter the order whatever.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
Anytime I put one on, sit there and watch it.
It is still so great and entertaining.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
So sometimes the new thing is not as good as
the thing. It's you know, duplicating, oh for sure. And
I will say that Jessica Simpson was way better as
Daisy Duke than the og. Daisy Duke looked way better
and was a phenomenal actor.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Oh yeah, you're her acting Chops in that movie two
thousand and sound. Yeah, there you go. TV deaths, it's saying,
suck of people have to die, but it is part
of the world we live.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Is the Duke sa Hazard.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
That's a top five old time TV theme song, just
a good old boys.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Never meaning no harm.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Was in trouble with the Lows and they was born
making that way.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Oh my god, it is gone and popping on lone
Star ninety two to five. Coming up next, this made
us laugh. Next on lone Star, we are the Ben
and skin Show, your new morning show on lone Star
ninety two to five.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
I'm Ben Rogers, joined by.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Jeff skin Wade, Hello, Kevin k T Turner, Good morning,
and Christina Kray little baby cor Brad Ray. Oh yeah,
and we're so happy and proud to be here on
lone Star ninety two to five. And yesterday it was
our first show. Today is our second. We love interacting
with you. If you want to leave a voice message
like that, just go to the iHeart app stream lone

(20:09):
Star ninety two five and then you'll see a little
red microphone and you just click that microphone and you
can instantly get us a voice message and maybe we'll
play it on the air. Coming up here in about
ten minutes, we'll get to trending in Ben, I've got
a crazy story about Michael Irvin.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
But right now it's time for this, all right.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
So something that has made us laugh in the past
and still does to this day is a clip from
a little posts or maybe a little during COVID, but
a little post COVID just by twenty twenty one ish
Fortnite was a big deal. I think it helped a
lot of people get through COVID. I played a little Fortnite,
and I'm not even like a big gamer guy played
a little Fortnite.

Speaker 9 (20:56):
You play, Ben festival stages like Guitar Hero. Back in
the day, I played like every weekend, play.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Guitar on it. Now, yes that's bad, as it's really fun.
Christina and I grew up in the Guitar Hero generation,
so that would really hit home. Yeah, but Ben would
often play. Ben even bought me a headset so I
could play with him, so we would play sometimes had
a good group. I don't think I was a part
of this game though. Ben was playing with a couple
guys that you got to know. Happy Chop was one
guy's name. Shooter mcswagen was another guess game and I'm

(21:25):
assuming a cop from prosper.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Now, keep in mind that I grew up playing video games,
but arcade games, and then I had it in television.
We weren't in television family. Some families are Atari smre
Callico Vision. We weren't in television family. And then moved
on to PlayStation and went down that road. But I'd
always played games like Madden and stuff like that, and
then I'd never played the first person shooter games. But

(21:48):
my kids started playing Fortnite, so I was like, let
me make sure this isn't like Grand Theft Auto and
it's safe for him. Yeah, And while I was testing it,
I got addicted to it and fell in love with
it and had a blast with it. And the most
fun I ever had was when we all played and
Christina played, Oh my God, because I've never heard anyone
cuss that much like guy was blushing.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
I was uncomfortable. It was powercussing.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
I call it video game Tourett's yeah it. She can't
control what she's saying, which she's thinking of so ut
And let me just say there's a lot of buzz
in the gaming world about Grand Theft Auto six. It's
gonna come out in November or something.

Speaker 10 (22:17):
Ben.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
When I started working with you guys in twenty thirteen,
back at the Fan my first full time four into radio,
I was twenty five years old. Ben goes, hey, Man,
do you play video I was like, man a little bit,
because Man, I bought this game for my kids, and
I just don't think they need to be playing it,
and he handed me the physical disc of Grand Theft
Auto five. I've been thirteen years since that game has
been released, guy, but Ben gave me that because he

(22:40):
realized that there was the strippers in there doing lap
dances and stuff for health.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah, they'll rejuvenate your health by pulling over and picking
up a street walker. And also, like we were playing,
you had to start the game and you're calibrating everything,
and my son goes, Dad, why are we shooting the
police officers? Are we the bad guys? I was like,
all right, get turn this off. Yeah, prun the off immediately.
Let's give it to KT.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
So what you're gonna hear is wild and but it's
been playing Fortnite with his friends.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
And this is Battle Royale. It's usually four. You have
teams of four and you go out and play a
bunch of other teams of four. So I'm playing with
three other dudes who are very good, and I'm the worst.
I just happen to be the one at live at
the end. So they're communicating with me, trying to coach
me to the victory.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
On shooter. He's kind of shoddy over here.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
It's so chaotic.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
And then adding the fart audio and the scene from
step Brother on top of it, but just those guys
being so happy and so elated it got that kill.
And Ziggy was happy chopping there. He's the one going oh,
and I go, hey, was your wife asleep or something?
Is that why you were being quiet and doing and
celebrating that way? He goes, no, I'm like, wait, that's

(24:14):
just normal celebrations, like the Cowboys scored a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Oh hey, man, I just got a promotion.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
This sounds very sensitive.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Well that made us laugh, So we're gonna revisit the
laugh Vault every day at seven oh four, and that
one made us laugh. Coming up next, though, and trending
had been this made my jaw drop. The most shocking
Michael Irvin story that I've never heard. That's next, Ben
and Skinned Show lone Star ninety two five. Thanks for
hanging out with us this morning. We hope you do

(24:54):
it every single morning six to nine. Don't forget you
have a chance to win a two hundred and fifty
dollars gift card. Crow or Rock the Cart is happening
at eight point fifteen. Be listening for your chance to
win for that. But right now it's.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
Time for this.

Speaker 11 (25:07):
She's interrational quick greggor nuclear overreactor. He's a masterful storyteller
who consistently finds himself drowning in a sea of awkward.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
It's time for no trunding and Ben heg.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
You, thank you, thank you, thank you. This is my
opportunity to bring some stories to the party. And we
mentioned this before. We don't do deep dives into sports
or sports talk here with the show that we do
on lone Star ninety two five, we just dip our
toe in. But on our Haymaker Network, which is our
own sports network on YouTube, we do do very deep dives, like,
for instance, we had Darren Woodson on the other day,

(25:46):
one of the all time Dallas Cowboys greats. Now, we
can't play the whole forty five minutes for you here
on lone Star ninety two five, so we're just going
to play a snippet from it. And this is what
I thought was the absolute best part. A little birdie
tip me off right before the interview and said, hey,
you should ask Darren Woodson about the first time he
met Michael Irvin and you can hear me ask him,

(26:06):
and you can hear him be surprised by me asking.
He starts laughing and then he just shares the story,
which is awesome.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
Walk me through the.

Speaker 6 (26:12):
First time you met Michael Irvin. I get drafted during
this mini campus. It was a rookie mini camp the
veteran players. It was against the rules for the veteran
players to actually show up during the rookie mini camp.

Speaker 3 (26:27):
And we sat in the little room.

Speaker 6 (26:29):
We were learning the defense and Dave Campbo had this clicker.
He was teaching us cover one. This is how we
run cover one, This is how we run cover two.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Here.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
Then it's a dark room and all of a sudden,
the door opens up. It just like kicks in, and
this guy flips on the lights and he walks in
the room and he's butt ass naked. Dave Campbo, God,
Dave Campo, trust me. And he walks into the room.
He walks right down the middle of the aisle. And
I've never met Michael Irvan. I've seen Michael Irvan on TV.

(27:00):
And he walks in the room and he turns around.
He has no clothes on, no socks, no towel, just
button naked and he walks in.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I'm looking, I'm.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Eye contact dude. I'm like, yeah, hey man, yeah, I'm right,
I'm right here.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
The shoulders man, Like.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
What is going on?

Speaker 6 (27:17):
You know, Mike after for a reason, we had to
keep better on, you know how he's likely like he's
losing his voice, yelling his scream.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Deep, well win the championships here, you know.

Speaker 6 (27:27):
But then he gets done and he just walks out
of the room, slams the door, and Dave of Campbo
doesn't even miss a beat man.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
He's just like, okay, this is covering three. Nothing nothing,
No one said anything.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
We just sat there and watched this thing, and.

Speaker 6 (27:44):
I was like, that's my first introduction to Michael Irvin.

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Gosh. I love that.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
And that is also like not even remotely surprising, like
you've heard so many crazy stories about him, but that
is a really I mean, it's it's I don't think
he just decided I need to go talk to these
people now. The man got naked to get their attention.
I mean, yeah, it's a wild story, but you're it
is very believable and I can't believe we'd never heard

(28:09):
it before. But it also is very It's odd, obviously,
but it also is very cool. A lot of times
in pro sports. A guy gets paid, and he didn't
care anymore. He didn't try as hard as anymore. He's
got paid, he's good to go. He cared so much
about winning that he stormed in there and tried to
get them fired up while he was new naked, just
to set the culture and say, I don't care how
good you were in college, you suck.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
We're here to win. You better bring it. And I'm like,
that's a good tone setter. Yeah, I don't know. I
just I can also be like, drink this in Yeah,
do you like?

Speaker 6 (28:40):
What?

Speaker 2 (28:40):
Do you like?

Speaker 3 (28:41):
What you see?

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Rookies?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Man, There's there's a really wild clip going around of
him talking about the White House on the old The
Smoke podcast.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
It's amazing, Like, I'll find it for you guys.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
But Michael's you don't care, man, he's just all that
crazy stuff he did. Now that it's been out in
Cowboys documentaries and stuff, he's he.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Named his podcast after the white House. Yeah, it's crazy
that you must have ran out.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I think this is the first year in the drought
where it really could be different. Oh And I hate
saying that because it always feel it always feels like
you fall for the trap every year, at least I
do the banana and the tailpipe.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
They're gonna be good this year, but I kind of
think they could.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
This could be the first time since, you know, the
last time they went to the NFC Championship thirty years ago,
that they could get back.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
I think they're gonna win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
I have a hard time seeing him win ten games,
but that's me really Okay, Oh.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
Dude, I think I think they're winning the division. I'm
not joking. I think they're winning the division.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
It's a bad division.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Yes, it is art schedule, but the defense will be
fixed and the offense should be electric.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Top five defense.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
I mean they might it might have to ramp up
to that top top five defense in the last month.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
Yeah this season. Yeah, all right, there you have it.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
There's trending in ben Coming up next KT, we're going
to take us in the weekly Weekday Update.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Why are people shooting alligators in Fort Worth? Next? On
loan Start ninety two to five.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Before we get there, let's talk about the absolute greatness
of Franklin Frankel, Mark Frankel, Scott Frankelin, Jean Brikett. Those
are the three partners at Frankel and Frankel, and they're
very good at what they do and they win a
lot of awards. Look, if you're injured and it's not
your fault, if you're involved in a wreck, that's not
your fault, reach out to the Frankels immediately. Two one
four three three three thirty three thirty three. They handled

(30:25):
my case. They fought the other side so I didn't
have to set up the MRIs X rays and physical therapy.
And at the end of it all, Franklin Frankel got
me a nice cash settlement.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
And look, they have a thirty year track record of
doing just that, helping people when they've been hurt in
a wreck or even on the job site. Call the
Frankels first, get them on the case immediately, and with
no out of pocket expenses. To you, man, that is
so fantastic, getting all the benefit of their expertise, their knowledge,
their ability to help you. Getting all of that without

(30:55):
coming out of pocket, it's amazing. They're going to get
you the medical attention you need, They're going to get
you all They're going to gather evidence for your case
so they can go get you the biggest settlement possible
that's what they've built their whole reputation on. See for yourself.
Give me call two one four, three three three thirty
three thirty three. That's two one four or eight one
seven and all threes for Frankel and Frankel chosen by

(31:18):
the people and feared by the insurance companies.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
Fr NK E L call Frankel.

Speaker 12 (31:24):
First Yo, ben in Skin, Welcome to ninety two five.
I grew up listening to this station with my dad,
with the two gentlemen that were there for a long time.
There's no one better to replace those two guys than you,
two guys. Much continued six for all of you.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
Just a couple of dudes in the morning.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Yeah, that's it, Just a couple of.

Speaker 7 (31:46):
Dues, ben in Skin Morning six till nine on lone
start ninety two five.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Just a couple of dudes, full three dudes and a
gal Christina Carie little baby Cornbread Ray star of the show.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
Yeah, Christine, know where you're going to take some the
cookie jar.

Speaker 9 (32:01):
In ten minutes, Getty Lee had a really creepy cool encounter.
I'm going to tell you guys about.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
All right, speeding of creepy encounters At eight o'clock. You
can't say that on TV. We'll get into that, but
right now it's time for this.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Are you excited?

Speaker 3 (32:15):
And gets turn?

Speaker 7 (32:18):
We Day Day featuring veteran news anchor kt fun tweets
guys seeing all these stories about these alligators getting shot
in Fort Worth.

Speaker 4 (32:28):
No, I saw a tease to it, but I didn't
see the actual story.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
So three alligators were shot at the Fort Worth Nature
Center and the Texas Game Wardens are offering a one
thousand dollars reward if anyone has any information. I'm gonna
let NBC five have a little runway here because they
did a story on this.

Speaker 13 (32:47):
I'th already say something fishy is going on. After finding
two dead alligators in Fort Worth just weeks apart, NBC
five saw harror Mom reports now that there's a reward
for more information.

Speaker 14 (33:00):
Come out to the Fort Worth Nature Center and refuge.
It's common to spot an alligator along these waters, but
what officials say should never be common is finding them
shot and left for dead.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Kayakers found another one with signs of poaching.

Speaker 15 (33:15):
It does appear that someone trying to remove the head
because the spine had been forced upward, which is consistent
with someone trying to twist and pull the head away
from the spine.

Speaker 3 (33:25):
What and his team spotted this third gator on their
game camera.

Speaker 15 (33:29):
She had that cross bulls or aero shaft ticking out
of her neck. It is very disheartening, and I understand
that there's a fear and in some cases the hatred
of alligators, but they're still protected in their port far
of the ecosystem.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
And their natives by who are Raman, NBC five.

Speaker 2 (33:45):
This is very disturbing because if there is a murder
and then a head twist, it makes me think that
it's a creature.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
Oh, like like Foot, Bigfoot. I think I think he's
he's basically.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Looking for some belts and some belt buckles and some
different things, and then he wants the head is a trophy.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Bigfoot's trying to liven up his fashion.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, I don't, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
Look, I think crocodiles are way more dangerous than alligators.
Alligators are like a cobra GT car. They're only fast,
like straight ahead. They can't do turns and stuff, you know,
and you can pretty much just get out of its
peripheral vision and you're totally safe.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
So you're saying there was no need to shoot it
in the neck, and then no, I don't.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Think so, but there are you know, when we went
to Orlando recently, my wife and my daughter and I,
they told us, hey, don't ever walk near the shoreline
of a body of water. Like at don Or Dusk,
lady was walking her dog and one of the alligators
ate it like it was a chicken McNugget. She was
walking an appetizer, though, why would she do that? And

(34:54):
so you know, is this maybe somebody wants to take
back the Fort Worth shore Lines.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
Now that is a battle I'm looking forward to. Yeah,
classic battle. It's the new strait of horror moves is
the fourth shore Lines. It does seem kind of like
a revenge plot. Like Ben said, maybe this at these
alligators or maybe just one eight someone's pet and they're
pissed happy teach them a lesson. J on a gator.
I guess how much do you think gatorheads go for?

Speaker 4 (35:21):
About fifty?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Yeah, he's he's fifty. I don't know, flush does a gate?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
I don't know what about that guy we had on
when we were on the Eagle, Oh yeah, would be
our go to guy. He got in all sorts of
trouble for not having licenses and he was killing gators
or feedom cheetos or something. How is that not the
lead suspect that guy we had on the show that
was like trying to get famous.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
We need to get him on yeah, yes, or we
need to tell the authorities about him.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
If this does say, a real Taxi Army alligator head
typically cost between twelve dollars and three hundred and fifty dollars.
That's a wide range. Yeah, got the internet sucks.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
I am looking for some of those fifteen dollars gator
heads if I can get a good deal on him.
Shout out to your mom Gator by the way, Yeah,
my sweet mom Gator loves lone Star ninety two to five.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
That's enough.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Oh all right, there goes Kevin Turner reporting for the
weekly weekday Update. Coming up next the best segment we
do every day, Christina's Cookie Jar.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
We're gonna take us in the cookie jar. Christina Getty
Lee had a.

Speaker 9 (36:16):
Strange encounter, so we're gonna hear all about that next
on lone Star ninety two five and Skin.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Show lone Star ninety two to five. Come up here
in about thirty minutes, you'll have a chance to rock
the cart. And when you a two hundred and fifty
dollars Kroger gift card, you're gonna need that. iHeart streaming app.
It's a free app. We use it so much for
our show. We want you to be able to stream
the show. But that talkback feature very interactive. You can
leave messages for us, and then that's always the way
that you're gonna be able to win contests on our

(36:42):
show at least, So make sure to be listening for
all of that coming up here in about fifteen minutes.
Someone said something on television that they simply can't say.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
But first.

Speaker 5 (36:52):
Les John to pop the top, break your heads, and
thank you. Grabbing three from Chris Scoopy jar.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
Goes Christine.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Christine has.

Speaker 9 (37:21):
The Rush is currently on their fifty something tour. They
were here, what just over a month ago, not too
long ago in Funky Town. And have you guys seen
the poster promoting this tour?

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Is it the twenty one twelve star Pentagram thing?

Speaker 9 (37:38):
No, it's just a traffic light. And then it's like
whatever the core that the traffic light is on. There
are two birds. They look kind of like just pigeons,
and then there's one flying away. So assuming that's a
nod to Neil Neil Pert by the way, I always
say Peart, but it's Pert.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
Whatever.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
But by the way, a funny little part of that.
I learned this on that dumb Getty Lee show. Getty
Lee is a guy that goes and takes pictures of
birds in the wild, birding.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
They call it birding. He is a birder. Lot of
old men like birds. Yeah, okay, Getty's in his seventies.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Yes, so this is very important for this story.

Speaker 9 (38:15):
So Getty's doing an interview with a Toronto radio station
and she brings up, hey, have you seen any signs
that maybe Neil is just watching out for years?

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Still around? And this was Getty's answer.

Speaker 16 (38:28):
After the opening night, we were staying in la and
so my door to my room was open a crack,
and I don't know if you've seen the posters that
have two birds on a wire and the one bird
is flying away. I looked in front of me on

(38:49):
the floor and there was a bird on the floor
that looked just like that.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Bird in the poster, and.

Speaker 17 (38:59):
I was kind I'm shocked.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
And you know I love birds.

Speaker 17 (39:03):
So I approached it, and it flew by me and
flew into my bedroom and sat on the edge of
my bed, and when I approached it, it was like
it was looking at me, and then it flew out
the door.

Speaker 10 (39:20):
Creepy.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
This is basically the plot of Disclosure Day.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
I still haven't seen it.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Yeah, the bird flies in and now giddy Lee learns
a new language. He's speaking in tongues, yeah, alien tongue.

Speaker 9 (39:32):
But he goes on to say, he's like, man, I
don't believe in stuff like that, but this was just
a really creepy, cool coincidence because he said the bird
even came back and kind of gave him.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
A look like what's up.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
The bird came back in and had drumsticks and his challenge,
and that's when he knew, all right, jil Onto something here.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
I'm having a hard time getting past how Low's voice is,
considering how he sings, yeah, normally high voice.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
I almost made me think it was Alex have some talking.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
So I just thought that was a really cool story.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
It is a great story.

Speaker 9 (40:05):
And also people I think it was the same interview,
have brought up Hey are you guys gonna work on
some new music. You guys finally got back together on tour,
maybe some new music, and he said, nope, we've got
enough to do. We're still just trying and remember these
old songs and how to play them. So do y'all
know anybody that went to the show?

Speaker 3 (40:23):
No, I saw some videos.

Speaker 4 (40:25):
Did they redo it multiple end, like there's like five
shows or four shows.

Speaker 9 (40:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
A buddy of mine that you know, my age grew
up with that music went and he was He said,
I can't believe how good it was, Like he was
blown away at how on top of their game they were.
And there's a legendary hip hop producer named DJ Premier.
He's produced rap songs you've probably heard, but I saw
him on Instagram leaving a Rush concert saying this is
one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
Yeah, so all the feedback has just been phenomenal on it.

Speaker 9 (40:54):
I had someone recently tell me that I look like
their new drummer, Anika cool An.

Speaker 13 (41:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
I was like, WHOA, thank you. I wish I could
play drums like her.

Speaker 9 (41:05):
And then I'll say this mainly just because I want
you guys to look at this base that this guy
is playing so zz Top. They had to abruptly cancel
a show last week at the Hollywood Bowl. They said
it was over unforeseen personnel matters. We still don't exactly
know what happened. They did end up playing a Friday

(41:25):
show and they've got one tonight too, I believe, so
hopefully everything's okay now. But I want you guys to
google Elwood Francis and look at the base this guy's playing,
because when I first saw a picture, I was like,
this is photoshopped.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
It is this insane, like, oh my god, twenty four.

Speaker 9 (41:41):
String bass that he first said he kind of played
it as a bit and now he's forced to play
it every night because it's cool.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
People think it's cool looking, what a beating.

Speaker 11 (41:49):
It's amazing.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
It looks so dumb.

Speaker 4 (41:51):
But how do you get your money, how do you
get your hand? Ory need him to go on the next.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
I have no idea, That's what I'm saying. When I
first saw I was like, this is not real, but
it is thing that's ever having.

Speaker 9 (42:01):
Yes, so I thought, sure they are stopping here, by
the way, and well I'm not here Austin, Austin August
twenty second and twenty third Fantom.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
Yeah, all right, take you Christina coming up next in
the audio bubble bath. Hey man, you can't say that
on TV. That's next on lone Star ninety two five.
All right, So over once in a while, I see
the price of something and I'm like, I don't understand, Like,
how does anyone on Earth afford this?

Speaker 3 (42:26):
Coming up?

Speaker 2 (42:26):
In things skin is tracking? How does anyone afford this?
What could this be coming up?

Speaker 4 (42:31):
In ten minutes?

Speaker 2 (42:32):
We crank up the wayback machine, we take a look
at different strokes underneath the magnifying glass.

Speaker 4 (42:37):
But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
We had a bit of a blunder on television over
the weekend, but I guarantee you none of us was
watching it because I don't think any of us are
actively taking in a lot of QVC content. No, No,
it's gotta be older women who watch QVC and buy
things from it.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Just people that basically want to have like a fireplace
that just burns money. How can I set this money
on fire?

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (43:16):
I know there's a TV channel that helps you.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
But talk about something in a world where things are
actively going away, A lot things that we grew up with,
it still exists. It's always been there.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Yeah, that's because there's a psychology to that, like the
person just being by themselves.

Speaker 3 (43:33):
It's funny.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
My dad was talking about recovering from surgery one time,
and he was all hopped up on steroids. He's like, man,
how about so many late night steak knives and dumb things.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
Like I don't know what the hell does happen? The
brain fog kicked in for the education. Yeah, what we
have here is we've got a lady. Well there's two ladies,
but one lady is demoing a wig. So she's putting
a wig on and you just see the back of
her head, all right, and she's talking about the qualities
of this wig.

Speaker 18 (44:02):
I love to show the texture and this wave pattern. Again,
it looks like you went and got a blow dur
at your blowout at your salon, man, and.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
It looks beautiful.

Speaker 4 (44:21):
All right.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
So here's what's happening today.

Speaker 13 (44:23):
We're having a huge beauty sale, a one time only price.

Speaker 3 (44:27):
What good reset. Okay, here is what's happening today. I
love the lady couldn't believe that. She said to herself,
Oh my god. After she says it, because again, all
you can see is the back of her head because
she's showing you the wig, the irony, so she's not
looking at the she realizes what she does and she
just kind of putting her head down. You can kind
of feel the shame. I mean that the whole clip

(44:49):
like slows down after she says what she said.

Speaker 4 (44:53):
This thing went viral big time. Described the bird.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
Uh, she kind of looks like to me again, and
most of what I saw of her was from the back.
She kind of reminded me of the lady on Shark
Tank with the short hair. Oh yeah, Barbara, Yeah, Barbara
power lady. She seems like a lady that would host
a show on the QVC.

Speaker 3 (45:13):
Does that help you?

Speaker 10 (45:14):
That helps you a lot. How was the blazer They
kind of a look alike. Yeah, she did have a blazer,
and of course she did. They all have the same haircut,
and I know she had her wig on. Here the
wig not that different than her haircut.

Speaker 18 (45:25):
Again, it looks like you went and got a blow
d after a blowout at the salon.

Speaker 3 (45:34):
And it looks beautiful.

Speaker 18 (45:39):
All right.

Speaker 15 (45:39):
So here's what's happening today.

Speaker 4 (45:42):
If that doesn't sell that thing, I don't know what
else would this was happening today.

Speaker 3 (45:45):
Susan's out of line. Too much wine already? Oh my god,
I do like the whisper under your breath. Oh my god.
Now there's a few other from the q bluebers from
the QVC over the years, I've gotten this is a
show called down Home with David, and I believe the

(46:08):
producer off mike and off camera or he ends up farting.
I think that's what happens here.

Speaker 5 (46:13):
And welcome to down Home with David.

Speaker 4 (46:14):
How are you hello, David?

Speaker 1 (46:16):
How are you very well?

Speaker 3 (46:18):
You are my favorite posts for sure. Thank you.

Speaker 15 (46:22):
And I've bought a lot of things from Roberta's in
the past.

Speaker 1 (46:25):
And I said I bought many things from Roberta.

Speaker 4 (46:36):
Like merching them saying awesome. No, that's not his voice too. Yeah,
let me hear that one more time.

Speaker 3 (46:47):
Because the guy's responding to her saying that she's bought
a lot of things from whatever they're promoting.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
It does sound like King Tut when they put a
digital voice on him.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
So I guess there is So I guess I have
to watch as much of QBC now, guys, that's like
what I have to do. I guess we just have
to start watching and recording the QBC twenty four to seven. Now,
I guess that's like a thing that's now a part
of our daily schedule.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
What are we doing?

Speaker 3 (47:17):
What's the goal here? Good job Kevin? WHOA All right?

Speaker 4 (47:23):
There you go the audio bubble bath. You can't say
that on TV.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
Lady.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Coming up next, we crank up the wayback machine. We
are you going to take a skin. We need to
take a look at the classic show different Strokes. Next,
I want to say thank you to another partner with
us that is coming over to lone Star ninety two
five and that is Parish Roofing. Caught up with Randy
Parrish over the last couple of weeks when he heard
the news. And Randy has a very small business. It's

(47:47):
a roofing company. And if you've noticed, sometimes there's guys
going door to door in your neighborhood roofers and a
lot of times those guys aren't even real companies. Don't
trust those roofers. Now, it is important that you have
a roofer. Look at your roof for you to make
sure that it's water tight. We get hail, we get
high winds. It can display shingles. Important to get somebody
up there, just to make sure water's not seeping into
your own because it can lead to expensive repairs. Call

(48:09):
Randy right now his wife All answer or or Hill answer.
Because it's a small family owned business. Grateful that they
partner with us. Here's the phone number support our guy,
Randy Parrish two one four two two seven eight four
eight eight. That's two one four two two seven eight
four eight eight. We love to tell you that when
you call someone with the last name Parish is going
to answer the phone. So it's a it's a family business.

(48:30):
It's a great business. Reputable people. They can guide every
step of the way. Insurance deductibles are out of control.
They can help lower out of pocket obligations a lot
of time. They are all compliant with all laws and regulations.
Randy is a friend and a great dude telling Ben
and Skin sent you when you call to get them
up on your roof for check out the fence or
the windows. It's Parish Roofingsolutions dot Com at two one four,

(48:50):
two two seven, eight four eight ten A Skin show
lone star ninety two five. Let's give away that two
hundred and fifty dollars gift card for Kroger, it's time
to rock the car. You're going to use the talkback
feature on your iHeart app. The first person to leave
your name, your phone number, your email address, and the
answer to the question what creature is getting mysteriously shot

(49:10):
on the shores of Fort Worth. We talked about it
earlier during the weekday Update. There is a creature. Two
have been shot and they think a third now has
been shot and they're trying to get to the bottom
of it. Kat had the story, If you know what
that creature is and you're the first person, you're gonna
win that two hundred and fifty.

Speaker 4 (49:26):
Dollars gift card to Kroger. How cool is that? But
right now it's time for this.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
It's time to go.

Speaker 4 (49:35):
Into the biting schedule.

Speaker 2 (49:36):
Worbut all right, we'll use the wayback machine to go
in time and talk about some of our favorite things
from the eighties and the nineties. I mean, that's the
sweet spot for me and been growing up teen years
in the eighties and then in our twenties and the nineties.

Speaker 3 (49:49):
Oh, we were just smashing out there in the village.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
Would you like to go back to the village and
what do you mean by smashing, you know, stomping, stomping.
We were like losing our security deposits, but we weren't
really doing that much like with females. It is amazing
how you can tell what the bong water does to
the carpet. Yeah, it looks like leopard skin print.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
So anyways, I wanted to go back in time today
to the classic showed Different Strokes, because I don't know
a lot of people really spent a lot of time
thinking about how that scenario got together. Now, Ben, how
would you describe your memories of different Strokes?

Speaker 3 (50:26):
Well? I thought it was.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Willis and Arnold yep, were brothers, yep. Related Yeah, and
literally and some black dudes. And Arnold was supposed to
be the younger, smaller, cuter kid, yep, but he would
always go what you're talking about Willis? And Willis was
like the older, more mature brother. And then mister Drummond
adopted them and he was super rich and loaded, and

(50:52):
he had a daughter, Kimberly Kimberly, and then missus missus Garrett,
this is Garrett. Yeah, missus Garrett was the housekeeper nanny yep,
And it was okay, uh, what all high jinks? Do
these two young kids get into when they get adopted
into a super rich family. Yeah, Now, you guys were
weren't even born by the time Different Strokes went off

(51:14):
the air. I think it went off there in like
eighty five or eighty six. Yeah, eighty six, I'm seeing okay. Uh,
but did you ever see reruns of Different Strokes on
Nicket Night or whatever that thing was that you watch.

Speaker 9 (51:24):
No, that show actually completely missed me. I know the
what you're talking about, willis Yeah, that's it, that's it.

Speaker 3 (51:29):
What about you? Occasionally going a TBS would show reruns
in the mornings, but very rarely, like they were more
I amed at Gilgan's Island, Brady Bunch.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
The Gessions, and then you guys don't remember Missus Garrett Strudele, No,
do you know? Do you do you know the show
that Missus Garrett was actually spun off into? Wait, Missus
Garrett was a spin Missus Garrett had a spin off show.

Speaker 3 (51:50):
Oh no, what was it?

Speaker 4 (51:51):
The Facts of Life?

Speaker 3 (51:52):
Oh, she laid it on her feet.

Speaker 4 (51:54):
Yeah, she she left.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
Uh, she left the luxury of the high Rise and
Manhattan or wherever Philip Drummond lived, and she went and
went to an old girls school, same character and everything.

Speaker 4 (52:07):
Yeah, how about that.

Speaker 2 (52:09):
But uh, the premise of the show, because I went
and looked it up, so Arnold and Willis's mom was
the housekeeper and she died.

Speaker 4 (52:18):
Oh wait what she was the housekeeper from Harlem?

Speaker 2 (52:22):
Oh yeah, So the premise was, all right, this worked
so well with the Jeffersons. We're gonna do a version
of the Jeffersons. We're gonna have these white people adopt
these Harlem kids and then they get to like be
wild by living in the penthouse. And it's all in
the song, like if you listen to the original song,
don't you guys.

Speaker 4 (52:41):
Have now the world? Don't move to the beat of
just swann drum what might be right for you?

Speaker 2 (52:48):
Well, they won't be right for some It takes dis
Oh wait, didn't sing it with us?

Speaker 3 (52:54):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah he didn't. That got Jared and
bowling for soup saying it.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
But so one of the problems with the show is
that Gary Coleman, the guy who played Arnold, stopped growing. Yeah,
so I have like a medical yeah yeah, he was
like he had some sort of thing that kept him small.
And they knew that all along, right, because The point
was he was a better actor than a child actor
would be if they were that age.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
I think then this show had so much success, They're like, oh, oh,
what are we.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
Going to do now, because now his brother's four times
his size and we have no explanation for this.

Speaker 4 (53:30):
And then there was a whole thing where they had him.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
He played He played a kid that went to college
as a ten year old on a made for TV
movie The Something Genius ten year Old goes to college
being a year old. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Life, Yes, So.

Speaker 2 (53:44):
They had to deal with all that, and then they
didn't know what to do, and so to make it
more weird, they added suddenly a redheaded kid into the show.

Speaker 4 (53:50):
Oh yeah, remember him?

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (53:52):
I didn't. I this came up.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
I guess when Jarrett was on our show from Bully
for Soup and we talked about it, and I had
totally forgotten that, and now I totally remember it.

Speaker 9 (54:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:00):
I can't remember the kid's name, but it's like, Okay,
we need to get a small kid for for Arnold
to be around the show. Is that it's best when
we had a cute child. Yeah, go throw a new
one into the mix. This one's too big for cuddling
according to dot So. Anyways, we would love to hear
your thoughts on different strokes. That's one of the great
things you can do. We have a talkback feature on

(54:21):
the iHeart app. We used to give away tickets. We
just did the beginning of the segment. Or you can
tell us some of your favorite memories from the eighties
or nineties that you want us to do a deep
dive on and we'll do it anytime.

Speaker 4 (54:30):
We go into the benin skin wayback machine.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
All right, but coming up next, let's talk about affordability. Well,
where are you going to take us in things? Skin
is tracking? Oh my god, I went to California last
week and how can anyone afford to live there? I've
got tails to shock. Lone Star ninety two five coming
up here in ten minutes. We got the big finish.
We'll get back into the ice breaker stuff we were
talking about yesterday. This is the Ben and skin Show.

(54:53):
We are your new morning show here on lone Star
ninety two to five. I'm Ben Rogers, joined by my
close buddy since nineteen eighty two, Jeff skin Weight.

Speaker 4 (55:02):
He sounds like this, I sound like this, And Kevin K. T.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Turner he sounds like this good day DFW and Christina
k Red little Baby corn bread race.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
He sounds like this, Hi, but right now it's time
for this, Oh.

Speaker 1 (55:17):
Another edition of things.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
Skin is tracking all right?

Speaker 2 (55:22):
Uh so we just we know California is a stupid
expensive What do you do? You guys know what gas
costs there?

Speaker 5 (55:29):
Five?

Speaker 6 (55:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (55:29):
Five bucks?

Speaker 4 (55:30):
Now right, it's over. It's over six?

Speaker 3 (55:32):
Well is there? Geez?

Speaker 4 (55:33):
Why is it more in some places? Don't know? You
know what I'm saying, proximity economy applying. Oh that's good.
That was Elmer's.

Speaker 2 (55:42):
I was like that, Elmer Economy petroleum. I mean, maybe
it's just because there's so many people and so much
driving supplying to man, it's hard to get it there.

Speaker 3 (55:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (55:52):
Someone leave a message, someone to leave a talk back
on why gas is more expensive?

Speaker 3 (55:56):
I say, these gas prices, I'm like, yeah, it really
is crude oil.

Speaker 4 (56:02):
I'm so tired, man, I have to get up early now.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
And he comes here and he does that.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
So anyways, it's not just the gas. Everything was shocking everything.
I just sent you guys a picture of two pizza
of two pizzas, okay, and I'm gonna I'll put this
on social media so people can see it. I want
you all to look at those two pizzas.

Speaker 8 (56:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (56:28):
Where I stayed in California, to the pizza place was
right down the street, so we could walk and get
the pizza. There's no delivery charge. What I'm about to
tell you is not a tip. But those are two
large pizzas. Describe those pizzas, Christina.

Speaker 9 (56:41):
They do look very large. They are both half and half.
One is cheese, just cheese, the other is cheese and mushrooms.
And then one's pepperoni and the other side is pepperoni,
black olives. Oh, and then more mushrooms. And it looks
like New York style pizza.

Speaker 2 (56:58):
What do you think those two pizzas that you seeing
there with their eyes would cost no tip, no delivery charge,
fifty dollars. Well, first of all, they look really good,
so it must be like a good pizza joint. Let
me just say I was very disappointed. Okay, better than
they tasted. Okay, so give us a comp is it,

(57:18):
mister Gaddy's Uh No, it's it's a good it's a
it's a ballpark pizza. Don't throw yeah, part pizza. It's
a ballpark with pizza. Okay, yeah, I would say that. Gosh,
I'm not even what would you pay for time? Remember
this time depends.

Speaker 3 (57:39):
I mean right now, our good friends of Dominoes are
offering half off pizzas. That's been very nice. I think
twenty eight Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (57:47):
Oh so you think sixty dollars a pizza?

Speaker 3 (57:49):
Yeah, for both of them? Oh oh one large.

Speaker 2 (57:53):
So you can understand when I was disappointed that I
spent seventy one dollars the oh my god, delivery.

Speaker 3 (58:00):
No tip, no tip?

Speaker 2 (58:01):
No, I mean when you go, they tipped when they
walked in, because that's the other thing. For some reason,
I have to tip for someone to actually make the
food now, but live there, I don't.

Speaker 4 (58:11):
And that's the thing. So I went to a Dodger game.
I'd never been to a Dodgers game.

Speaker 3 (58:15):
I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (58:15):
Well, it was fun, it was hot as hell.

Speaker 2 (58:17):
Yeah, but I'm standing in line to buy a beer
and I'm just kind of just talking to my son.
I go, well, I guess I'm gonna spend nineteen dollars
on a craft beer. And the guy in front of
me turns around goes, how does anyone live here? Like
didn't even say his name, just goes, how does anyone
live here? And that's my thought the whole week, because
we're on vacation, and when you're on vacation, you tend

(58:39):
to spend money and go all right whatever, I'm just kid,
it's gonna be painful. But everyday people just how how
do how does two pizzas cost you seventy dollars?

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Can't?

Speaker 4 (58:50):
How is this maintainable? How Dodgers look this year?

Speaker 3 (58:53):
They did not.

Speaker 2 (58:54):
So that was the day after the trade's hurt. No
a Tani, I don't really Dodgers. They know he They
had one guy on base and they walked him just like, okay,
just walking you do. There's a guy We're not even
gonna a pitch to you. Did you have a Dodger dog?
That's I didn't have a Dodger dog. But that's the
other thing I thought of. Ben So the the daughter's

(59:14):
boyfriend's like, oh my god, we got to get a Dodger.

Speaker 3 (59:16):
Yeah you do. I mean it's iconic.

Speaker 2 (59:17):
And I thought of what ben Oi says, if you
called a hot dog, it's but if you called a
Dodger dog, right, I mean that changes everything.

Speaker 3 (59:23):
They still Ranger dogs. Right?

Speaker 4 (59:25):
Is it just bacon or is it applewood smoked bacon?

Speaker 2 (59:28):
Right, it'd be said, Okay, I'm gonna go to the
Dodger Stadium and get a hot dog.

Speaker 4 (59:32):
No, I'm getting a Dodger dog. Yeah, I'm gonna go
get a thirty nine cent hot dog.

Speaker 3 (59:36):
No you're not.

Speaker 4 (59:36):
You're getting a Dodger dog, Thank you, stupid.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
So it's I would just I just all week, like,
I don't even think there was a single thing that
happened that didn't cost seventy dollars.

Speaker 4 (59:48):
No, I just but the view was incredible everything, right
you Ben? I mean you pay for that view?

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Yeah, you don't eat and you can't afford gas. But man,
that you wow? Who so so yeah, good luck to
you California. Now I understand why everyone's moving to Texas.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
That's where they're California eating our Texas, right, damn it,
I get it. Man sucks.

Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
All right, There you have it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
Things skin is tracking coming up next, KT, Where are
you going to take some in the big finish?

Speaker 11 (01:00:14):
Well?

Speaker 3 (01:00:14):
I think we started this exercise yesterday. It was day
one on lone Star ninety two five. So let's get
to know each other A little bit better. Let's tell
the metroplex a little more about who we are next
on lone Star ninety two five.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Ben and Skin Show lone Star ninety two five. Thanks
for hanging with us this morning. We'll be back tomorrow
morning at six o'clock. In every morning at six o'clock
doing our show six to nine. Make it a regular
part of your morning routine. But right now it's time
for this ack.

Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
We did this yesterday at our first show on lone
Star ninety two five.

Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
We want to look. We have a lot of listeners
that have listened to us over the years.

Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
We've been on the Ticket, the Fan, ESPN, The Eagle,
We've been in all these different stations, most recently doing
afternoons on ninety seven point one The Eagle, and.

Speaker 4 (01:01:00):
We're super happy to be there, be here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:01):
But we also have a lot of new listeners, a
lot of folks who have listened to Bow and Jim
for instance, who built an incredible morning show and just
absolute icons and grateful to be in this spot. And
so we know there's a lot of lone Star listeners
who are like, who the how f are these dudes?
So we're trying to trying to help you get to
know us. Now, I'm Ben Rogers, I sound like this.

(01:01:22):
This is Jeff Skin. Weaight, he sounds like this, Hello,
and he doesn't really sound like that, so it doesn't
help them that much. Sorry, Kevin kat Turner, who sounds
like I'm Kevin. That's what he sounds like. Christina, who
sounds like and.

Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
Hi, I'm Christina Ray.

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
Yeah, that's exactly what she sounds like. The only really
good thing about this show. And so we were doing
this thing called who would.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Blank?

Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
Or who is most likely to blank?

Speaker 6 (01:01:48):
Is what?

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
It's what it is, right, Yeah, So it's a bunch
of different things like who is most likely to have
had an entirely different career. We did some of these yesterday,
so we want to pick it back up and do
some more today because we think we can throw out
a topic like that and then it'll kind of help
you figure out who we are a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
And it was a lot of fun to do, so
we want to keep it going.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
I enjoyed it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:08):
So who would be the happiest out of the four
of us? Ben, Skin, Katie and Christina. We're asking each
other and if you know us, you can play along
in your vehicle or wherever you're listening. Who would be
the happiest completely alone for an entire weekend? Kevin Christina
I think me. Okay, Okay, so all of us. I

(01:02:28):
thought Christina, because she will like go camping by herself,
which I didn't even think happened and accept it unless
it was in horror movies. She'll just go out into
the woods in a super scary, sketchy area and just
set up camp.

Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
And just roll the dice.

Speaker 3 (01:02:43):
It's just broken bow. It's fine.

Speaker 9 (01:02:45):
It's nice to get away with your thoughts and just
kind of unwind. I mean, I will say I was
alone this weekend because the boyfriend was on a vacation
and it was just meeting the dogs and it was fantastic.

Speaker 4 (01:02:56):
Okay, well I feel good about you being there with
those attack dogs. They go camping with you two?

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
Uh not back then?

Speaker 4 (01:03:03):
No, Okay, so see that is straight. Yeah, Friday the thirteen, it.

Speaker 3 (01:03:06):
Totally is why you kt I'm pretty introverted three or
four days out of the week. Wait, you pick and choose. Yeah,
you never know what's going to happen to you. But
I'm pretty half and half. I'm an extroverted introvert or
an introverted extrovert.

Speaker 4 (01:03:21):
I'm one of the others. I'm one of those two.

Speaker 3 (01:03:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
I have so much chaos inside my head at all
times that I don't need stimuli. Yeah, you know what
I'm saying, Like I can. I mean, when I lived
alone didn't bother me one bit. I absolutely loved it
so too. I mean it's not that I mean, I
like interacting with people too, but man, it's hard for

(01:03:44):
me to turn my brain off and so I can
just sit there by myself for hours.

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
And be fine.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Who is the biggest people pleaser of the four of us?
I think that's been Rogers. Yeah, Ben, guilty is charge?

Speaker 4 (01:03:57):
You would have said the same, right.

Speaker 5 (01:03:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:03:59):
Actually, there was a lady we were we ever show
it Chalktaw a couple of weeks ago. This is back
around the Eagle, and as Ben and I were walking out,
a lady got on the elevator and she said something
and then she said, I'm satisfied, and so it sounded
like she said, I don't think that's what she meant
to say, but she said I'm satisfied. And guess did

(01:04:20):
you say you were satisfied? It was just a weird thing.
Ben Ben was making sure she was pleased. That's my point.

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
Are the hardcore example of concrete.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
It was very strange.

Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
Well, it was quality small talk. It was just weird
that suddenly a lot of sexual tension in the elevator.
Did you say, what's the root of that satisfaction?

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
So who would have of the four of us and
that lady, who would have the easiest time starting their
life completely over somewhere where nobody knew anything about them.
You're saying, thanks, guys, because it's kind of the same
thing where she can just like we would play this
game called I thought you were on my side, where

(01:05:00):
you have to call somebody on the phone and see
if they answer.

Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
Most of the time, no one answers anyone's calls anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
No, but everyone she called would answer, even if she
called another host while they were on the air and
another radio.

Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
Station, go yeah, Christina, can I help you? I'm on
the air right now.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
What can I do for you?

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
It's amazing how many middle aged men stop whatever they're
doing to run and deliver aid to Christina. Ye, like,
at anytime I've seen surgeons leave surgery, I mean, and
so knowing all that she's gonna have support wherever she goes,
even if they don't know her yet.

Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
Yeah, they just want to talk seventies rock with me.

Speaker 2 (01:05:35):
That's you tell yourself that of the four of us,
who has the strangest hobbies?

Speaker 3 (01:05:42):
Oh okay, that's interesting. Let me throw this out right quick.

Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
Yeah at a certain age, it's hard to have a hobby, right, yeah, Kati,
you collect deadly insects, right, Yes, I still collect deadly insects.
Christina collects the exoskeletons of them. She does puzzles.

Speaker 3 (01:06:02):
It is her, It is her right. And I do
like to croche. I did like to crochet. I haven't
done that in a while. I know you've outgrown it. Yeah,
I just don't have time for it anymore. Ye two bands.

Speaker 5 (01:06:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
That's strange, but I think we don't see her doing
those old lady tech things, which is crochet. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it's Christina? Yeah, all right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Who is most likely to become obsessed by a new
hobby and then abandon it? Yeah it sounds you remember
any of them that you can share with the listener.
You really got into photography, and we were on a trip.
We were at Rangers spring training a long time ago,
and you we I don't know why we rode with you.
We could have just gone back to the house. We

(01:06:43):
rode with Benda Phoenix to some shady store so he
could have a handoff. Yeah, it was very strange. I'll
never forget Ben buying fifty or a five hundred dollars
pickleball shoes.

Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
Most recently was the same stuff, right, you got like.

Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
A I got a snake snake thing and my brother
needed to borrow it because he had a snake in
his Grugeah.

Speaker 4 (01:07:07):
Ben is intoxicated by the new trend. Yeah, I had.

Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
I went through the phase where I was buying very
expensive flashlights, used to dress up like the cash from Yellowstone.
I still do every night. He did have a whole
duster thing going on.

Speaker 7 (01:07:20):
I do.

Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
I do have two.

Speaker 2 (01:07:22):
I owned two cowboy hats. How is that possible? You
had a monster truck, several monster trucks. You had a
monster truck.

Speaker 4 (01:07:31):
The aquarium. There's the saltwater aquarium.

Speaker 3 (01:07:34):
Oh Ben?

Speaker 4 (01:07:35):
Who is most likely to go down a four hour
internet rabbit hole?

Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
Kevin?

Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Yes, in fact, he had it. He can't wait till
the show is over. So he can go get into
some eight chan all right? Who of the four of
us would be best on Jeopardy Skin? Yeah, let me
just say, although I think five years ago, definitely me.
But I don't know, man, I'm not what I used
to be in regards to that.

Speaker 3 (01:08:00):
I know this now.

Speaker 2 (01:08:01):
It may be one of these young bucks over here.
He No, I still think you'd get it. Who would
be best of the four of us on the show Survivor? Christina?

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
Yep, Christina?

Speaker 3 (01:08:10):
Agree?

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
He watches it because I used to camp alone. Who
would be best of the four of us on the
Price is right?

Speaker 3 (01:08:20):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
Yes, he is so proud of that, and I mean
and actually I think I would be better than him
at that. Who is most likely to embarrass themselves when
meeting their hero Ben?

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
Ben? Yeah? Why do you say that? Because you would
have audio proof of it, don't we?

Speaker 10 (01:08:39):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:08:39):
When I met Tom Cruise and embarrassed myself, I thought
you did well?

Speaker 6 (01:08:44):
I did?

Speaker 4 (01:08:44):
Okay, I'll give you an example of something that I do.

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
I had I had a big meeting with a guy
that owns a distillery the other day, and we were
talking about being an advertiser and partnering with us and
it went great, and then I went to shake his
hand at the end of it.

Speaker 4 (01:08:58):
Remember I called you immediately. I think I just blew
the deal.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
I went to shake his hand and I couldn't decide
if I was going brother cool handshake or businessman handshake.
And then after an awkward exchange there, I then went
in for.

Speaker 4 (01:09:11):
The half hug.

Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
Oh, it is terrible, terrible, all right.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Who is most likely to have already met their hero
and somehow become friends with them?

Speaker 3 (01:09:25):
I mean maybe that's also Ben.

Speaker 1 (01:09:27):
I think it's Ben.

Speaker 2 (01:09:28):
Actually, yeah, I mean he met me and became friends
with me. Who would you most want sitting next to
you on a six hour flight? Kat, because he would
just fall as I think Kat, like you would least
want me because I would talk to you off and Kat,
he would just go to sleep. Yeah, but when he
falls asleep, he falls over on you.

Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
I just pushed me the other way.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
I wanna who is most likely of the four of
us to get us kicked out of somewhere?

Speaker 3 (01:09:57):
Skin again?

Speaker 2 (01:09:58):
Yeah, I think so, Skin, And probably because I take
pride in those sorts of things.

Speaker 3 (01:10:03):
I know he don't.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
You know, that's a good way to And I'm gonna
go ahead and get us kicked off the air right now.
Thank you for hanging with us this morning. We had
a lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
We'll be back tomorrow morning at six o'clock, so do
not miss that. I'll never forget the time KT fell
asleep on a plane. The pilot woke him up. He
looked that pilot dead in the eye, and he said, did.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
You know that the pickle offers a lot of hydration
traits that are really good for your body?

Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
And the pilot went back to the cockpit.

Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
Coming up next. Keep it right here on lone Star.
Jason's going to rock you all day, Right here lone Star,
ninety two to five.

Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
Here you're going, you're well.

Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
I love the radio.
