Speaker 1 (00:00):
No, I've lost my mind with love. I'm in love
with this beautiful blue Blurg girl.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
All right, with ethic within, I'll show you're gonna ruin
it be, except with similar sweet pursuing it tunneled out
Shaw shank through the sewer. Kid, Now what chilling at day?
Speaker 3 (00:21):
Eagle?
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yeah, we're doing it. Three o'clock on the dock. Got
a habit for my house, a golf status. Howard starting
to get Crattit shows that enough multiplied like a rabbit.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Tune in, zone out, crank it up, beat the habit.
I wonna hang out with a friend, rocking on the ladio,
my boyskin talking on the ladio. It's time to to
this walk all byway, go kakt up.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
All my.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Bi Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you
for tuning in on a Friday. This is the world
famous Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one. The
Eagle got a great show planned for you today. I'm
Ben Rogers, joined by Jeff skin Wade, Kevin kt Teardown Turner,
and Christina Kray A little bit of Gronberg Ray.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
A way to jump right into this and keep everybody
smiling and have you head into the weekend. Having a
lot of fun is to bring some audio. So I've
broughten some rotten audio to play for you, and I
want to everyone, gee there's thinky. Every once in a while,
I stumble across something on Instagram because I'm better at
(01:39):
using Instagram than you guys are, and the algorithm feeds
me some magical gold sauce. And this time last night,
I was just perusing, you know, just scrolling, and I
stumbled across a new singer. It's a guy I've never
seen before, and it's kind of karaoke. But he's not
at a bar. He's just at his house. Okay. And
sometimes you see these and you're like, I don't know
(02:01):
if there's a head injury or anything could have happened.
You know, I don't know what the story is, so
I don't know the context of this, but I know
that this guy started showing up on my timeline. And
it's not like he's got a lot of followers, Like
how many can you? I guess, yeah, I can check.
I sent it to kat. We're gonna play three songs
for you.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
I can tell you full throatedly that he has ninety
four hundred followers.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Okay, solid, So he's growing. He grow bud that I
would say that hasn't that's not something that's gone viral.
That's not something that's lifted off into the stratosphere. Some
of these things take off like that and pretty soon
they get up to five hundred thousand followers. Yeah, pretty
cut players. Well, I'm just saying these singers, oh, these
singers types of songs, and I just want to take
(02:45):
a listen to see if this, if you guys enjoy
what we're working with here, And how would you describe
the guy you're looking at. He's got a big Game
of Thrones beard, a huge, huge.
Speaker 5 (02:55):
Head, like a white seventy year old guy maybe yeah, seventies,
wearing a hood. Also, the camera is very close to
his body.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Very close. Like that's a very like where you can
see all. Yeah, he get his whole dental report just
by being so close to his mouth. Now, I'm gonna
start with him singing a little journey. Journey is a
hard you know, band to sing. You know obviously Steve Perry, right,
you can hit those super high notes. It's a man. Yes,
if you think about the everyone's favorite song to sing,
(03:24):
there's a couple of parts in that that very few
people get hit. I learned that the hard way. Here
here he is taking a stab at it.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
It's a small town girl. Yeah, he got train.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
I relate to this guy, just ble.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
By soundly try.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
He children.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
It's like he's never heard the song before.
Speaker 6 (04:20):
He's starting lower to help him out, but the song
isn't lower, So that's not you know.
Speaker 1 (04:29):
That, it's our parts exhausting. Hey, that's all I did,
all right? Of course I love that. You know, he's
passionate about something and he's putting it out there in
the world. He's getting creative. So not hating on the
guy for that. Yeah, but it's a unique style and
you really get to capture what his essence is when
you hear him tackle the lady in red read by
who can you help me on that one? Chris christ
(04:52):
the borrow or Chris the yildier, Christ Berr he only
had one song?
Speaker 5 (04:57):
Okay, yeah, lady read by Christopher. Guys so close to
the cameras.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Than what Cordo character.
Speaker 7 (05:20):
It is.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
M chick.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
You past or maybe no, no, no.
Speaker 8 (05:29):
No, that's beautiful, mumble mouth something mush mouth, mush mouths.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
It's just you, that's bad.
Speaker 9 (05:52):
I'm really good.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
Right, that makes me want to bone You put your
own spell on it, right is what you do? And
he just doesn't. It doesn't look like a guy who would,
you know, yeah, sing like that. It kind of looks
like a guy who might be working the redishrored at
a tire shop or something like a guy who would
thrive in Alaska.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
The way he's dressed in the beer interesting that you
use the verb sing. He's a guy who will have
multiple smoke breaks within smoke breaks, Yes, mo out break.
That was all right? And then finally, you know, it's
not all old school songs that he tackles. He gets
into a little Harry Styles sign of the Times, Oh,
(06:31):
a modern day classic.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Is his mouth?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Is his mouth nowhere near the mic?
Speaker 5 (07:06):
It's actually good, very close to him, but he's he's
locked he's locked in on the screen he's reading is.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
I mean it has the vibe of you know that
the guy. If you were tied up in the basement
and a guy wondered inaltered in and he was singing that,
You're like, oh my god, I'm so dead, and he
was talking He's duk kimono, I'm gonna die here, So
This is a really great bit though. It's kind of
combining what Christina did the last couple of days on
(07:36):
Wednesday and Thursday with this. I like the idea of
a song. We got to find the right song that's
got an enormously long intro and it goes on forever,
and you do your own arrangement where it's like unaccompanied
piano that goes on for three minutes, and then when
you finally sing, it's that that's so good, so good. Anyways,
happy to the streets. Yeah, sorry, happy to get your
Friday started. Coming up next in the entertainment headlines, the
(07:59):

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Be listening. I went to a strange convention. What was it,
I'll tell you in fifteen minutes.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
But first into team entertainment in.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
My yeah, I've ever been to the Dallas Boat Show. Well,
you can go there. It started yesterday. It's gonna be
at Dallas Market Hall and it's running through Sunday Entertainment
headlines brought to you by the Dallas Boat Show.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
So good.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Okay, So the movie of the Year dropped. I mean technically,
you know, movies drop on Thursday nights. Now you can
see them late Thursday night, but the movie of the
Year is dropping. The Odyssey today. Matt Damon, Tom Holland,
Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Eata Nwongo.
Speaker 10 (09:58):
Many more.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
Christopher Nolan's the direct Can't Wait. I saw Christopher Nolan
do an interview the other day. It was Something Day
with You, John Stewart, and he said that, and I
did not believe him. It made me kind of lose
a little bit of Christopher nolan admiration when he said,
we could have never done this movie without the success
of Oppenheimer, and I was like, I you could have.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
I don't know, I don't know. He's he's in a
different sphere, but you know, the whole deal on Inception.
The studio wasn't going to make Conception. He couldn't get
it made. And then he made so much money with
the Batman movies they allowed him to make Conception and
so and it ended up being a huge blockbuster thing.
(10:41):
But you got to realize, Hey, guys, I mean, think
about what happens in Hollywood. We make fun of it
all the time. Hey, guys, I want to do an
epic poem from the blind Greek Phlospher Homer.
Speaker 11 (10:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
I know they don't even teach it in school anymore,
but I want to do a true adaptation of that.
Can you guys give me a giant budget for it?
Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah, it's a two hundred and fifty million dollar budget, damn,
and Oppenheimer was one hundred million. But Oppenheimer is also
not having a lot of action in it.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yeah, you know.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
So he basically made a cerebral movie about a guy
having anxiety over creating the thing that will end extinction,
and it became a blockbuster success and it was long.
Is Oppenheimer huge without Barbie?
Speaker 5 (11:25):
That's a great because it was very fortunate to get
lumped in with that, And I think Oppenheimer's Great Barbieheimer.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Way more people I think.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
On the street would tell you that they loved Barbie
than they loved Oppenheimer.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
And I think, like you're saying, they enjoyed them together.
And so the soft lightness of Barbie made the super
deep heaviness of Oppenheimer, Yeah kind of and their audible
and they ended up kind of being marketed together. There
was like a whole thing. Yeah, so they it benefited
from that, I can.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
Tell you with that, given anything away earlier reviews, Okay,
just gonna do the basic, gonna be a simp here
to go to Rotten Tomatoes. Let's go Friday afternoon then
three pmish, it's my go to. We don't even have
a popcorn meter yet for audience reviews. When we have
the very few critics reviews that have poured in, the
(12:14):
critics are saying ninety six percent.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
Oh, let's f and go. That's all I need to hear.
And I'm going to see it tomorrow. My son and
I are going. He got the tickets last week. We're
gonna go see it on one of those super screens
or whatever. There's only three of them intown or whatever.
I can't wait for this, and they're doing a good
job of promoting it, like they're everywhere. I don't know
if you guys have noticed. Yeah, and we talked about
(12:38):
like they started cranking it out for the NBA and
then there was going to be this huge gap, but
we were seeing a bunch of it during NBA commercials.
But the I think because it is Christopher Nolan, and
I'm trying to remember the last filmmaker that made films
like this that had this kind of pinache, Like there
was an amazing article in the La Times last week, exhaustive,
(12:58):
deep thing into why this has made, the psychology behind it,
and when it's the kind of thing that critics are
all excited about, that takes it to a whole new level.
So I saw an interview also where Matt Damon was
talking about and maybe it was with one of the
dudes from the I can't remember who he's with, but
they were like, you guys are calling like you say
dad in this not father and all that stuff, and
(13:19):
they're like, why would you do that? They didn't say
it like that. He goes, well, they didn't say it
father either. It was in Greek, right or right?
Speaker 5 (13:27):
So what are we doing right, but those one thing
people were trying this is like a TikTok thing. It
took off and people trying to rip up the movie
because their accents, and I'm like, well, you can't do.
You would just not see the movie then, and I'll
take the alternative of dealing with some accents.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
You know what happened too though, on the idea of
adaptations and things that we got accustomed to for English,
we started just giving literature British accents, whether it needed
it or not. Like that just happened. Yeah, And that's
one of the reasons why Lucas used a bunch of
British actors with British accents for those admirals roles and
all that stuff, to represent some sort of hierarchy of
(14:04):
some kind.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
Quick roll call, who's sing the movie this weekend? Outside
of me and Ben? Because I'm gonna get to it tonight,
skinning Christina, the anus.
Speaker 11 (14:14):
Is on you.
Speaker 12 (14:15):
I would like to try to go, but we do
not have any solid plans.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Well, we haven't made solid plans, but I haven't because
I haven't gone on and looked at times and stuff.
But what's gonna happen is is I'm gonna want to
see it, and my wife's going to be like, well,
we didn't say disclosure day. We have see disclosure day first.
You don't have to Well, I know, but I'm just
saying what my wife is saying. Bro, I know, tell
her that, Yeah, that'll go over. Well, why don't you
just put your pants on and tell her to get
(14:40):
the car up, bitch. He's right, And next week we're
going to break down Eddie Murphy's raw so we can
get into the mindset of the eighties, because man, it
was extraordinary. But he's right, He's right, all right. Submitted
a Skits Show ninety's one point one the able speaking
of put your pants on? I went to what kind
(15:01):
of a convention last weekend? No, I didn't go. I
was there. I'll tell you the whole story, nag. I
hope you have some good times planned this weekend. It's
a Friday edition of The Been and Skin Show, and
we're so so glad to have you on board. There
are a lot of rumors out there circulating about our show,
but for now, our show is still on the air,
ye and we're very happy to be and we can't
address any of the rumors that are out there. Everyone's
(15:22):
constantly saying you've been fired from every station, all that stuff.
All we can do is keep doing one show at
a time. So thank you everyone who's got our back
and is supporting us during this controversy. But right now
it's time for this.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Tray. Another edition of things Skin is traffic.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Make some noise. If you've ever been to a convention,
Oh yeah, I love conventions, love it, man, So convention,
the corporate stuff and the Have you ever been to
a convention that's like a comic con or? No, I'd
like to go to a convention that I would actually
want to be at. I think I've had to go
to some for work different times in my career. Yeah,
(16:01):
so I probably don't look on it favorably. But if
there was a convention for something I was passionate about, yeah,
that'd be pretty cool. Star Wars convention, right, I mean
I'd love that. Kat, you've gone to a lot of
collectible conventions, collectibles, furries, name, and I've done it. Yeah, K,
you've been to a guitar convention?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
Well, I did think of the guitar show that comes
by every year. It's a convention that was My first
thought the Dallas Boat Show. Oh right, Dallas Market Hall
this weekend. Yeah, okay, has to be a convention. Yeah,
those are cool.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
It's our shows things like that. It's a boat convention.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
I didn't mean like a work convention. No, yeah, yeah
I didn't.
Speaker 4 (16:35):
I didn't.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
I didn't set that up properly. It's like where people
go because they're all like I one time went to
a sci fi convention in Richardson at the Richardson Civic Center.
I did it for a bit for the Dallas Morning News.
But at that convention was Marina Bacherin, the wife of
Benjamin Mackenzie. Is she Yeah, she good looking in person,
(16:58):
like I'm sure. She saw me from down the hall
and immediately got uncomfortable and I was like, wait, grinding
your teeth? Well, I was just like I don't understand
what are you doing here, Chris, Like look around you?
And she was like, I'm on a show called super Flat.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
What was she on?
Speaker 5 (17:13):
She's on Firefly that whatever that was, Yeah, and now
she's gonna she then was gonna be Deadpool's wife.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
Yeah, it was before Deadpool, before Poland yes, before that.
And I was like, wait, what are you doing here?
Have you seen all these chewbaccas walking around? Why are
you here?
Speaker 12 (17:28):
She's used to people looking at her like that, probably, yeah, Christiana.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Do you think women can tell when nice guys are
thinking horrible thoughts? I don't know about that, but we
do know when you're staring right like guy like skin
is grinding his teeth and hump in the air, but
he's trying to be a gentleman. Oh I didn't even
try to. I was like, what are you doing here?
You're so good looking? Oh my god, take it on man.
But anyways, so at all, it's good o'clock about good
(18:00):
to cheese over there. So anyways, we went to Austin
this past weekend and we didn't know that the hotel
we stayed at how to Barbie convention. Oh okay, awesome.
And we got there and what we didn't know it
was day seven. We got there on late Friday and
(18:21):
they had they were rapping on Sunday. They were already
seven days into that thing, or actually they would have
been six days into that thing.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
What yep.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Now, I don't know what you guys think a Barbie
convention is or isn't. I had no idea there was
such thing, but they had taken over the hotel. There
was stuff everywhere. Anytime you checked out, this are you
part of the Barbie Convention? And I was like, yes,
I am. Can I get the death count? So weird
Joyce so anybody I didn't want to know my real voice? Yeah, yep,
(18:52):
of course. So anyways, it was there's all different kinds
of fuel to go to this thing. But there was
definitely a group of people that every time they got
on the elevator they smelled like the seventies, not their age.
I'm saying, the decade of the seventies. What do you
think the decade of the seventies smells like, Ben, I
think it smells like Marlboro lights and fine Corinthian leather. Yeah,
(19:18):
a lot of old cigarette smell and just musty clothes.
There's just a lot of people that had stopped Karen
about forty fifty years ago, and they, you know, they
were wearing the same clothes it did back then. It's
a mix of smells like polyester and regret. Yeah. And
so something very interesting happened to me on an elevator
(19:38):
at the Barbie Convention, and I'm going to talk about
it next right here on the bin and skin show
on ninety seven one the Eagle before we get there.
Thank you to Reliant air Conditioning. Eight seven seven your Hero.
That's the number to call eight seven seven nine six
eight seven four three seven. Have them come out and
do a tune up on your air conditioning system. It's
like changing the oil in your car. If you go
through these hot summers temperatures that we have here in
(20:01):
Dallas Fort Worth, Man, that's gonna run your AC system
over time. It'd be like not ever changing the ohiale
in your car. Make sure you're doing these little tune
ups now. Relying air Conditioning is different than other companies
because they don't send a salesperson to do the tune up.
They send a technician. And that's because they operate with
extreme integrity. We love Jef Sturet, We love everyone over there.
So call them today, set up your tune up at
(20:21):
eight seven seven your Hero. Yes, that's also eight seven
seven nine six eight seven four three seven. You can
check them out online at Reliant Airconditioning dot com. But
you know they're gonna take care of you. They're gonna
send technicians to do the job, not salespeople. To do
a technician's job. That's not what you want. You're not
trying to just get sold something. You're trying to have
your heating and air conditioning taken care of by pros.
(20:44):
That's what you got the rely on air conditioning right now.
You can save up to fifty seven hundred dollars on
a new system because they can combine four different programs
with the relationships they have with the vendors, like they
can take care of you. When it comes to these
manufacturers and the gear and everything, they know what to do.
They're gonna do it right, and they're gonna be transparent
with their pricing. That's why they encourage you to get
(21:06):
quotes from their competition. See for yourself. Tell them Ben
and Skin since you when you call eight seven seven
your hero, that's eight seven seven nine six eight seven
four three seven gim mcfree since eighty three. It's a
Lion air conditioning Ben and Skin Show ninety one point one.
The Eagle will be giving away Motley Crewe tickets here
(21:28):
and a bit. Be listening for that now. Before that song,
you know, I was talking about this Barbie convention I
stumbled across when I went to Austin. Now, during the song,
I had you guys all watch a one minute Instagram
video of a lady, just a random lady that was
at the barbie convention, just so you guys could get
an idea of what it was you did you were
able to get anything out of that video, I could.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Tell what it was like.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
They're celebrating all these gazillion barbies and it's a whole culture.
It's the whole culture. They all show up and they
rent a room at this hotel, and they all bring
all their barbies, and the lady in the video even
talks about being able to display their barbies. So they
all display their barbies and they go from room to
room looking at each other's barbies. Oh, it's not even
(22:12):
a giant convention a giant convention area. But also you
have room parties where you bring everyone and see your barbies.
And so I found out that this was year thirty
of this thing. Oh wow, okay. And so there's all
kinds of people. There's like flamboyant, gay European people with
thick accents. There's old black couples that like, you're going,
(22:34):
you're into barbies, all right, what are y'all eighty. There's
lots of old white ladies. Lots of old white ladies
that are by themselves because it's been their whole life.
They've been nostalgias such a time machine. They love it.
And when they get together at this thing, I find
out they get to see all their people from around
the world and it's their Hey, this one time of year.
(22:54):
I get to see Joe from the Netherland. We're probably
in a Facebook group together, right. So anyways, I get
on the elevator with this one old bird and she's
got the Barbie black you know, lacquer door that things
called lanyard hanging from her neck. And I was like, hey,
so is this how many Barbie conventions even? She goes, Oh,
I go to everyone, this is year thirty. She goes,
(23:15):
we had one year during the pandemic where we had
to do it online, but you know, we have it now.
I go, I would imagine that movie is probably really
pumped a lot of life into this thing, and it's
really grown. She goes, oh, no, not at all, say there,
she's a purist. She hated it. Well, here's what happened
next commercial. Then the elevator door opened and a lady
(23:36):
on a motor like a motorized it's not a wheelchair,
but it's a motorized chair. She pulls into the elevator
to where she's facing the back wall. Okay, and she's
separating me and the old bird. Did you offer to help? Like, nope,
get in there and turn it around. Didn't want anything
to do with her. And so I'm like, oh, that's interesting.
We just pick up the conversation. That's interesting. I really
(23:57):
would have thought the movie would have helped. Then we
go to the next floor and three people get on
and one of them, I swear to god, he's about
five to two, but he looks exactly like Bow and Yang.
Exactly like Bow and Yang, and he's wearing silk pajamas. Okay, Now,
if you don't know who Bow and Yang is, he's
(24:18):
the gay Asian man from Saturday Night Live, where he's like, Okay,
we've only had white, straight people on the show forever.
Let's get a gay Asian guy and put him in
every single sketch for the next five years. And he
was in the Barbie Movie. He's also has the most
popular podcast for and he's in the Barbie movie. So
(24:38):
here's a guy and silk pajamas, dressed exactly and he
looks just like Bow and Yang. Then we go to
the next floor and the lady needs to back off,
and Bow and Yang guy won't move his feet, so
his toes are about to get run over by the
And I'm like, uh, oh, all right, let me know
how it goes. Did you yell allowed to him in
(25:00):
plain English? No, because I could not yell. I could
only whisper, oh, right, that makes sense. So then they
finally he doesn't get his toes run over, and then
the lady gets off, and then we go to the
next floor, and then they get off and it's just
back to me and the original lady and she goes,
I go, man, that guy almost got his toes run
over there. She goes, Oh, yeah, he's only been here
(25:22):
for a couple of years. He has one of the
largest Barbie collections in the world. It's all happened in
the last couple of years. I was like, all right,
so you just told me that the movie had no
effect on your Barbie convention. But now you know who
the guy is, who's a nube that has suddenly poured
a bunch of money into the Barbie convention and looks
just like Bowe and Yang. But he wasn't around before
(25:44):
the movie came. Do you not to see what I'm doing?
This is exactly what Ben said, she was being a
Barbie purist. Yeah, and they can't get over the fact
that that movie has pumped so much life into their
sad convention where they went around smelling like the seventies
from hotel room to hotel room, probably fifty of them.
And now it's this thing that takes over an entire Hilton,
(26:06):
all twenty floors of it in downtown Austin for a
whole week. Yes, it's because of the movie. You guys
are in an elevator at a Radiohead convention and somebody goes, hey,
did the creep song help Radiohead get a bunch of fans? Like, yeah,
I mean absolutely totally did. No, they're not here at
the convention. They all stayed with the grunge.
Speaker 5 (26:25):
So this is a situation that you're involved in. Didn't
impact anyone else's stay or you just you Oh no,
you're in a travel party.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Yeah, everybody. At one point the line to get back
up to my room just take the elevators was so long.
A hotel employee motioned me over to go take a back, like, wow,
you just had no idea. You just entered that world. Yeah,
I was like, I have to wait this long and
then and then the elevator stops at every floor and
they all have boxes. I mean, it's just getting I
(26:56):
was on floor twenty four of twenty six, so just
getting from the lobby to my room was going to.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Take the money.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
Honestly, places should warn you before you book any type
of stay.
Speaker 7 (27:06):
There.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
By the way, we're having a convention here that you
should know about. I mean I've yeah, one time we're
in Seattle and we we're at a hotel that was
having a cheerleading convention contest thing, and they know all that.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
It gets Yeah, just so many people, and man, it's
like trying to get coffee here. Try to get coffee
in the lobby when there's a cheerleading convention going on.
Good luck with that.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
All right?
Speaker 1 (27:28):
There you have it, a little Barbie convention talk. You
did not have that on your BINGO card. I guarantee
it the Home of the Eagle, and I tell you,
coming up today at five o'clock something else you won't
have on your Bingo card. Since we talked Barbie, let's
talk g I Joe DFW and we'll do that coming
up next though it's a very special edition of some
segment for you on a Friday. Before we get there,
(27:49):
I want to say thank you to our friends at
prosper Forward. Take the toll way, the whole way, and
put prosper on your roster at the all new prosper Ford,
the newest Ford dealership in town. If you're interested in
buying a vehicle, don't go anywhere in DFW and US.
You go to prosper Ford. It's right on that Frisco

name Edwin Rivera and he will personally oversee your deal.
Whenever I hear of somebody going to any other dealership,
(28:11):
I'm like, what are you thinking? Go save money get
an awesome car at prosper Ford. Yes, and any friend
or family member we send there, they get back with
us with the same story. Thank you so much for
hooking me up with Edwin and the crew over there.
I'm not going to buy a car from anybody else.
They do it right. It's fair, transparent pricing, there's no
hidden fees. There's no gimmicks. If you're anybody living in
(28:33):
that prosper a little Msalina or Frisco area, just head
on up there. Otherwise, go to prosper Ford dot com.
That's Prosperford dot com and see the entire inventory, new
and pre owned, and do it the way me and
Ben did with our families. We got our cars from
prosper Ford. Go with the pros and visit prosper for
today three eighty in the Dallas North Toll. Happy Friday, everybody.
Thank you for tuning into the Ben and Skin show.
(28:54):
No speculation can be answered. We cannot touch the rumors,
so please stop asking us. We don't know if this
is our last show on the Eagle. We certainly hope
it's not. It's been a lot of fun. Thank you
to everyone for your continued support. All right, coming up
here in about ten minutes. Yes, I love technology. Is
this technology the way you manage your life? But right
(29:14):
now it's time for this. I texted Christina this morning.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
I said, look, I love Christina's cookie jar, but can
I just have the audio bubble of bat today because
something happened? Okay, and she was like, well, what was
it because I don't know if I'm gonna give up
the segment. And I said there was a political fart,
and she said, say no more. And that is our job.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Chuck Schumer is the God love you chess man.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
It's kind of the head of the Democratic Party in
a way. He doesn't do much. He just kind of
sits there and plays with himself. Oh, chess, like sudoku. Yeah,
like chest you know, three D forty five D chess.
You never know why didn't jest that? But here's talking
(30:09):
and then see if you hear anything.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Now, want Iran in the NDAA.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Is that Vietnam was worse.
Speaker 1 (30:17):
A lot of people, a lot of experts out there,
a lot of part experts are saying, unquestionably, this is
a Shumer fart. No, that's a shuming You know what
I'm gonna do moving forward, moving forward. Anytime I audibly
fart in public, I'm going to follow it up with
and Vietnam was worse. Yeah, Now, want Iran in the NDAA.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
Is that Vietnam was worse.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
That fart was bad. Vietnam though we lost a lot
of lives. What could it be a chair adjusting? Could
it be a microphone? Adjusting could have been anything other
than a fart, because it was I'm just curious. Well,
he brings up a good point. There's a lot of
leather seats in there, and someone dopes, someone could have
been scooting their wallet across it was that it isolated
(31:07):
and he's wetting his lips. Yeah, throw oh man, I
just want to say what a you know, you see
like a breaking story and a journalist is running in
the hallway trying to talk to an editor and they're,
you know, really important news happening. That's how ridiculous our
dumb ass job is. There was a fart that happened
in Kat's springing down a hallway. I can't talk right now.
(31:28):
We've got to work emergency. Leave me alone, turn.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
My phone off.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
When we got called in for that emergency pod.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
Guy, that Vietnam was worse.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
We need you to come in and record an emergency podcast.
There's breaking fart news.
Speaker 5 (31:40):
Which and also made me just pull out my fart
files and found some recent farts. A listener sent this
in the old Spin, the skin walk fart. You know this, Christina,
you know the sk skins walking down the hallway. Oftentimes
this will happen yes, well, Blisard did send this to
(32:01):
me probably about year ago. On his ring doorbell camera,
he actually caught himself having a skin part.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Just walk into his car. Multiple is that a maguire
in the background. That it's crazy? He said, I love
you to his wife and he's off to work. There
was a baby maguire or something in the background. So
(32:39):
that's fun, you know, Oh that was good.
Speaker 5 (32:42):
QVC had a fart on a show that they have
called down Home with David and.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Welcome to down Home with David.
Speaker 4 (32:49):
How are you hello, David? How are you doing very well?
You are my favorite posts for sure.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
Thank you?
Speaker 12 (32:57):
And I've bought a lot of things from Roberta in
the Pass and.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Stop the Collar. It's stopped the collar? What was the
what was the awesome.
Speaker 12 (33:16):
Path?
Speaker 1 (33:16):
And so wait what are they trying to be an
alibi for him and cover it up?
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Like the coast is actually still I mean the coast
is off kind of off camera talking to the collar
like awesome that you've bottle this stuff from Roberta's.
Speaker 12 (33:32):
From robertas the pass and.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
You know what, the tone of that awesome reminds me
of I never watched the show, and I love this clip.
It's at the end of Eggs Tyrone. The way that
those working whatever they got, the way they respond to him,
Eggs Tyrone, ex Tyrone. I got to have time for
a couple more from the files, don't you know? I
(33:59):
don't now you can do one? You want me to
do one more? Yeah?
Speaker 11 (34:03):
No, I'm good. O.
Speaker 5 (34:04):
Waitay fine, Queensland are still without power this morning making
storm recovery.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
If it's even more difficult, that might have been a
back of the throat thing. Yeah, the cast gave her up. Yeah,
they did it, gave her up.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
I'm gonna do one more, guys, Micah on the Super
Michael Parsons on the Super Bowl stream.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
That is so aggressive he didn't time it right. Recovery
yell and then if any stretch during that too, didn't
like a stretch A harder thing to pull off when
people realize the cover.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
And at the same time that Vietnam was worse.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
Ye, All right, there you have it. There's the audio
bubble bath a Senate floor fort coming up next. And
I love technology. Is this technology the way you manage
your life? Will discuss next. Before we do, let us
sell you on the greatness of Franklin Frankel. It doesn't
need much selling. If you've been involved in a wreck,
you need the Frankeles. They're really good at what they do.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
They helped me. I got into a horrible wreck one
day on the toll way. It wasn't my fault. I
called the Frankels from the scene. It's never too early
to get them involved. That's what I did. I called
two one four all threes two one four, three three, three,
thirty three thirty three for Franklin and Frankel. They did everything.
They fought the other side so I didn't have to.
They set up the MRIs X rays physical therapy. I
never had to come out of pocket for that. It
costs you nothing to call the Frankels. They only get
(35:24):
paid if they reach the settlement. And that's exactly what
they did for me. They got me a nice cash settlement. Yeah,
and look they've done this for a ton of our listeners.
That's what happens when you have thirty years of experience
and being advocates for injury victims, which is what they are,
and it's what they do. Call the Frankeles. First. As
soon as you get hurt and a wreck or job
site incident. Something could even be dog bites called the
(35:45):
Frankeles first two one four, three three three thirty three
thirty three or eight one seven, three three three thirty
three thirty three. Call the Frankeles first Telling beIN and
skin SENSI you no out of pocket expenses and that's
why they're chosen by the people and feared by the
insurance company fr n K e L Call Frankel first
Ben and Skin Show ninety one point one the Eagle.
(36:07):
This segment is brought to you by Franklin Frankel. Longtime
partners have been in Skin Show. If you get hurt
in a wreck, it's not your fault. You need an
advocate fighting for you. That's who Franklin Frankel are. Give
him a call. Two one four, three three three thirty
three thirty three also works with eight one seven all threes.
What are the best things to do in Dallas this weekend? Well,
we're gonna tell you about fifteen minutes.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
But first, yes, we love technology.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
Replugged in over there, k T Yeah, do you have
any uh just the first thing you can pull up
to explain people who shackle for it is.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
Uh Okay, I was gonna do something later. Now, just
play one thing whatever it is.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, uh Tardawn all right, that's
him singing, mate. He makes intro songs for us, and
for a while when this was called The Freak, he
was actually a member of the Ben and Skin Show
(37:03):
for a while, helping us produce and do different things.
Now I know Ben operates this way. I do two
and it's not efficient and it's not smart. But if
ever I need anything from the past, I just go
into my scent files onto my email, Like, hey, remember
that thing we're talking about two months ago. Yeah, let
me let me go to Scent and then I put
(37:25):
in Ben Rogers. I do the same thing with pictures
on my phone. Yeah, don't ever put them in folders.
I have to scroll through a thousand pictures to find one.
It's you and I are just not equipped for this
modern age and it's not a good way to do anything.
But we're stuck in our ways, and I a couple
months ago, I had to Now let me let you
(37:46):
two AA and Christine and kt Y'll probably just do
everything in Google Drive and you have stuff archived or like,
are you guys I know, Kat, You're pretty organized, aren't you.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
If you've got to find something in your scent files,
I mean, you got to go there. But that's usually
a last resort.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Move for me. Yeah, yeah, it's it's the first thing
I do, yeh, and usually it'll pop up. It's a
last resort for you. Now, what about you? Are you organized?
Speaker 12 (38:07):
I try to be.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
It's tough, but I do.
Speaker 12 (38:09):
I have Google Drive.
Speaker 1 (38:10):
Yeah, we're people on the go man.
Speaker 12 (38:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
So I had sent Shackleford an email about four months ago,
and I knew that. I was like, all right, I
emailed this to him. So I figured, Steve Shackleford, I
don't send him that many emails. I'm sure if I
punch in Shackleford in my phone and then I hit two,
so it's emails sent to him that it'll pull right up.
(38:36):
So I'm just gonna do this live on the air.
I go to my scent, I type in Steve Shackleford.
There it is, I hit the two button and the
first thing I see is every single day an email
from Rad Messik. What the guy from iHeart explain everyone
who Rad Messick is? Christina?
Speaker 7 (38:57):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (38:57):
He sends us a rundown Basically, of all the top
rock stories or whatever else that we could use for
the day.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
If you work in radio, you get emails here, here's
things that people are talking about. You can fashion segments
around this. And a long time ago, we all got
added to that list because he worked for iHeart. So
every morning when I opened my I heard email, or
someone reminds me to open it, I see an email
from rad Mesic. So in looking for Steve Shackleford. Rad
(39:26):
Messik had sent all of these emails to a lot
of people, including Shackleford. Oh, he's still on the list.
He's still on the list. So our buddy, I said,
have a thing this. Yeah, yesterday morning, when I noticed this,
I was like, so you're still getting those rad messic emails, hi, buddy?
He goes, Yeah, every day, you know, I get news
with some other guitarists that died. Didn't he not get
(39:47):
paid for three months?
Speaker 7 (39:48):
No?
Speaker 1 (39:48):
Yeah, you're right, he did, but he's on the rad Messic.
But he's on the rad Messic email and so I
thought that was wildly hilarious. Yeah, but it also just
shows me how inefficient my life is. Like there should
be are most people y'all's age or y'all's generation. Are
y'all organized in drives and stuff like that? Or is
(40:10):
everybody operating like me and Ben?
Speaker 5 (40:12):
I think I'm pretty organized, but I think I feel
like I'm rare at that. I mean, I could be wrong.
I'm organized to a fault where people hate me for it. Yeah,
but I usually just search stuff Like Ben mentioned pictures.
I'll go to my picture if I'm looking for something,
I will type in like dog or boat. Like not
really that organized, and then.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
The AI just finds pictures of dogs. Yeah, it is
because you don't go in there and like attach you know,
file names or anything to anything. Name every photo you
take right now.
Speaker 5 (40:41):
But if I have a loose memory of when it
was too, I can generally find it pretty quickly too.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
What is your How many pictures do you have right
now in your phone? My phone?
Speaker 4 (40:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Anybody I have.
Speaker 5 (40:54):
Appears to be when I hit all how do you
get to that? Thirty five hundred photos? And then I've
got plenty backed up to Google Drive. So you have
three thousand, five hundred photos? Yeah, I have twenty six thousand,
five hundred and seventy.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
Five Yeah, even how do you find them? How do
you find them. Like if you go to pictures and
just hit library in the top left corner, I.
Speaker 12 (41:16):
Only have thirteen thousand.
Speaker 3 (41:18):
It doesn't do anything.
Speaker 5 (41:19):
Also, you guys don't work on your laptop as much
as yeah, Christina and I do. Yeah, No, don't work
on a laptop almost at all.
Speaker 1 (41:25):
I don't know how you do that. I live on
my phone. I've just gotten to where I can type
so much faster on my phone than I can on
a computer. Right, Wold, it's wild, but it is a
really weird and efficient way to live.
Speaker 12 (41:37):
Like, right, you can't. You can't edit audio on a
phone either. No, I mean you can, but it's not good.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
But I do wonder just your average person, how organized
are they? How easy is it for them to find stuff?
Just pictures? Like a lot of times if I know, okay,
I think that happened in February, eight years ago. I
can type in February and then start scrolling through every
picture that was ever type taken in February. But that's
not that takes forever.
Speaker 5 (42:01):
I'm very fascinated with personality types because it drives me
and Christina crazy that you guys have about fifteen million
unread text messages.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
But it doesn't mean they're unread. There are some people
who Yeah, no, of course. I like if I read
it and it pops up and I don't have to
go open it, and that's another stick. Yeah, yeah, right sure.
Speaker 5 (42:20):
And I think there's some people who are completely fine
with it. It doesn't bother them at all, and that's
how they live their life. I don't know what that like,
the Google Drive you're talking about, I don't even know
what all that is. That's the biggest pain in the
ass to me of all time.
Speaker 12 (42:31):
Oh, it's amazing.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Google Drive is a lifesaver. Yes, you guys probably do
all of your browsing on Chrome. Yeah, yeah, and it's
usually it's just ties into whatever the browser uses. I'm
a big drop Box guy because of the music world,
so I'll dump stuff in Dropbox. My phone interacts with
it and it's easy. But like if you have multiple things,
do you know how how troubling it is When I
(42:52):
get an invite for a Microsoft Teams meeting, I have
four Microsoft Teams identities, one for the Mavericks, one for
my heart one.
Speaker 5 (43:00):
You know, Google's just free Microsoft honestly, like Microsoft Office Word,
all that stuff is just Google now.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
For free. I need you guys to go do your
personal evaluations by the way we do on money.
Speaker 3 (43:11):
Are all right?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
There you have it? Yes, I love technology. Coming up next?
What's going on in Dallas? All the biggest shows you
need to know about next, Man, it has been a
good run. We've been doing radio for a long time
and if this is the last show, so be it.
It's been a fun, fun ride. The Wayback Machines coming
up at five thirty this week in Benskin show history.
That might make me cry listening to that under the
(43:34):
current circumstances, But right now it's time for this. What's
going on in Dallas?
Speaker 3 (43:38):
What word.
Speaker 5 (43:50):
Top? All right, lots of shows happening in DFW this weekend.
I'll let you know everything you need to know tonight
Old Town Beer Works in Frisco on the Chalk Toss stage.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
All the small things pop punk experience. As soon as
the show is over, we're heading over there. Our buddy
jac is having a big celebration there and this is
the band that he wanted, and so they're booked there.
And then longtime friend of the been in Skinshow I
just found this out, the great Tony Avizano manages this.
Oh cool, nice, we love telling he's great. Next week.
(44:26):
We should have done it this week, but I'm just
now thinking about this now.
Speaker 5 (44:28):
Next week, would you guys, and if you want to participate, please,
but would you entertain Christina and I dropping off like
two or three of our favorite pop punk songs just
to see what you guys think?
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Yes, let's do it.
Speaker 5 (44:41):
Absolutely, Christina, come prepared next week with your top three
pop punk songs?
Speaker 12 (44:46):
Just three?
Speaker 4 (44:47):
Five?
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Do you want a man's playing two? Or what the
segment is so she understands it, because I don't think
she did.
Speaker 5 (44:52):
Okay, I really didn't, So Christina, Man's planning is where
a man pass explains to.
Speaker 1 (44:58):
Hell's going on? Can I bring my three favorite clash
songs so you can understand why this exists? No, that's
the part that almost ruins the movie.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
Right.
Speaker 5 (45:09):
We're putting together the good movie here and the context
is going to ruin it.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
This is why my teens don't want to talk to
me because they don't want to lecture.
Speaker 5 (45:18):
The night at Billy Bob's Billy Bob Thornton and the
box master, whoa why didn't we get an interview with him?
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Man sounds weird. When he starts singing, it sounds so weird.
Speaker 5 (45:30):
It does feel like you could just kind of interview
him when you go have coffee with him at a
diner in Fort Worth.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:35):
I think he's just kind of a guy that's around
always around now.
Speaker 5 (45:39):
Very paparazzi used to be following him and Angelina Joe
around banging in a taxi cab, and now you can
just see him on a horse around here.
Speaker 4 (45:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
In fact, he might be sitting down on that parking
lot outside of radio station right now. We don't even
know he rides that horse over the costume world all
the time, but I think they're out of business. Guarantee
you he's driven through Aledo.
Speaker 5 (46:00):
A night at Tannehills TOWERN in Fort Worth, we've got
a wildcat singer Alert Saint Paul and the Broken Bones.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
Yes, you're gonna see a guy who's singing like a wildcat.
Speaker 4 (46:10):
What is that song?
Speaker 1 (46:11):
Sushi and Coca Cola? Is that the name of the
new thing that's a big hit for him? I think
that's what's the new song from three trimesters ago.
Speaker 5 (46:17):
Yes, yes, it's on the radio a lot on the
tonight at the Texas tea room.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Flagman. No one knows what that is, but you're amused.
You couldn't even get it out.
Speaker 12 (46:30):
Flagman, And where's the Texas troom?
Speaker 1 (46:32):
Flagman is a guy. That guy, he's got a flag
and he puts it up in his yard and no
one's like, dude, there's a flag. Has anyone noticed flags
aren't flying anymore? He goes to every World Cup game. Flagman.
It's a very limited skill set for a superhero. Oh
my god, it's on fire. No, no, why is he
(46:54):
hanging up a flag? It's all he can do. It's
pretty great. American flag, Canadian flag. Whenever there's a flag emergency,
I show up.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
Wrist flag, ankle flag, big old ankle flag, Betty white flag.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 5 (47:07):
Flag hag tomorrow night at Rowtown Beer Works in Frisco, Texas.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Let's go Christina on the chalk Toss stage. Let's go Christina.
The Zeppelin Project whoo.
Speaker 7 (47:21):
Oh.
Speaker 12 (47:21):
I don't know who's their elite singer.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Oh I don't know. I just figured since it was
Zeppelin you'd be here.
Speaker 6 (47:25):
I mean, yes, I'm very any Zeppelin Projects tribute.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Whatever Robbie Plant is the singer is that right, his son. Yeah,
and it's actually it's one of those plants that dances
when it hears music and moves. Robbie Plant, Jenny Bonham,

Today. There are a lot of rumors out there circulating
about our show. All we can say is that for now,
we are still on the air and we're still doing
our show. Thanks to everyone for tuning in to listening.
We are the Ben and Skin Show. You can go
get our podcasts for now online at just go to
the iHeart app and search Bin and Skin and find
it there. But right now, It's time for this.
Speaker 7 (50:37):
G's interrational quick Triggord nuclear overreactor. He's a masterful storyteller
who consistently finds himself drowning in a sea of awkward.
Speaker 1 (50:48):
It's time for no Trundy in bad yeah Man. Recently,
I've been bringing a lot of funny audio to the show,
things that I've seen on the interweb, mostly on Instagram.
And my favorite, probably most recently is the fake Star
Wars stuff. Oh I love that where they make Luke
Skyrecker Skywalker real whiny. But is it tired and cold
(51:09):
or like that? It's like old Big Kenoby. Why is
that droid talking like?
Speaker 3 (51:16):
You know?
Speaker 1 (51:16):
It's just so whiny. It's badass. And so I was
looking for some more of that this morning, and I thought,
you know, why mess around with this BS new stuff.
Let's go back to the original great stuff along these lines.
And one of my favorites is the old g I
Joe PSAs. So back in the day in the eighties,
when Gi Joe's cartoons were all over a little wholesome,
(51:38):
you know, television, they'd run these PSAs where g I
Joe or one of the characters from the show would
show up and teach some safety lesson to kids. Yeah,
now like a minute and a half or two minutes
or something. Now, you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Speaker 3 (51:52):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (51:52):
Well, at some point along the way, I think it
started in two thousand and three is Chicago filmmaker went
in and took out the original audio and had some
of his friends do these ridiculous voiceovers and uh, it
also dubbed over. Yeah, and it's it really caught on.
And so this is when the internet was great. The
internet was so good during all this fresh it was
(52:13):
we didn't know what was coming next. No one knew
the possibility. Yeah, excellent, is that what happened? So we're
gonna go back and revisit audio from some of these
just because it's so good. But just know the video
of this since you're listening on the radio and can't
see it. It's G I. Joe cartoons and it's kids
doing something like playing soccer, playing baseball, or going for
a bike ride. Suddenly some danger happens and here comes
(52:34):
a G I. Joe character who is a big military
hero and he shows up. What's a lesson for the kids,
But instead this is what happened. So let's start with
this first one. Uh, these kids are at a carnival.
Speaker 12 (52:47):
Oh I check this out.
Speaker 9 (52:49):
Cool, Hey, can I try that way? You're not my friend?
Speaker 13 (52:57):
Me me me me me me me me me me
me me.
Speaker 10 (53:04):
Me me me me.
Speaker 3 (53:09):
I'm just here with you.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
He'd you're talking to you, bro, My friends are here.
Speaker 12 (53:13):
Oh cool, I'll see you later.
Speaker 1 (53:19):
Okay. This is just a strange man talking to kids,
and that's the theme of a lot of these, like cool,
my friends are here.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
I do like the idea of a strange man cornering
a kid kidding.
Speaker 4 (53:35):
All right, So this one it is as I'm just
here with you.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
This one. That one is kids, you know, playing football
in the neighborhood.
Speaker 12 (53:52):
I want someone to take me to the hospital.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
You show about day.
Speaker 3 (53:59):
Nice cotch boy, too bad dress, God's sad.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Catch white kids, catches of football and his nose is bleeding.
Somebody's take me to the hospital. You sure about that?
Speaker 12 (54:22):
Yeah, I want someone to take me to the hospital.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
You show The voices are so amazing. This one is, Uh,
these kids are riding their bikes around the neighborhood and
suddenly they find a down power line which is sitting
out in the middle of the street and it's sparking
and they're like, gosh, we should stay away from that,
shouldn't we. And then they have some bad ideas and
then a big giant military guy shows up.
Speaker 12 (54:48):
Well, maack out that thing, man, what do you want
to do with it?
Speaker 1 (54:51):
Let's launch over it?
Speaker 3 (54:55):
Walt to Botamussade.
Speaker 10 (55:01):
What did he just say to us?
Speaker 3 (55:06):
Bottom sawhe machine go?
Speaker 1 (55:09):
What the hell bottom.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
Not go?
Speaker 1 (55:15):
That was used at the ticket right all the time.
This is actually the first place I saw these was
on the ticket like being there. We were doing our
Saturday show. I'd never seen him before, and I remember
Danny's sitting me down and I think you were there too,
just like showing. I was like, what is this magic?
But yeah, the way that guy said, can we hear
it again? The way he says, Buddy Massa, let's.
Speaker 4 (55:37):
Launch Oldren.
Speaker 3 (55:40):
Who wants the bottom massage?
Speaker 10 (55:46):
What did he just say to us?
Speaker 3 (55:51):
The bottom sash machine go?
Speaker 11 (55:55):
What the hell.
Speaker 1 (55:59):
I don't go? Is coming up next? The best one
of these of all time, And I still quote this
one to this day. That's happening next on the Benintskin Show.
Before we get there, let's talk about Parish roofing. Mixed storms,
smack DFW right on the roof all the time, hail, heavy,
heavy winds, downpours. It just habits here all the time. Now,
if a shingle gets displaced on your roof just a
little bit and water is now seeping into your home,
(56:21):
it could lead to major financial repairs for you. You
don't want that. That's why your roof is the first
line of defense for these big storms. So if you
haven't had anybody up on your roof in a while,
just to make sure it's waterproof, reach out to our guy,
Randy Parrish Parish Roofing. Don't trust the guys going door
to door in your neighborhood. There's no license for roofers
in the state of Texas. If you let them up
on your roof, of course they're going to tell you
need a whole new roof. Then they're going to go
(56:42):
try to hire higher subcontractors to do the work. That's
not a real company. Call Randy Parish today two one
four two two seven eight four eight eight, and more
than likely when you call that number, someone with the
last name Parish is going to answer the phone. Truly
a family company, great small business, right here in the
metroplex with people from here that care about this area
(57:04):
and ultimately care about you. Randy's gonna take great care
of you, never gonna mislead you. And it's it's the roof,
but obviously everything that comes with it, right the fencing,
if the windows get damaged during hal all this type
of stuff. He can guide you, guide you through the
insurance process, the out of pocket obligations, maybe in some
cases can even help you lower it. And then of
course if there's financing needed, he can help you with
(57:26):
that too. Randy has got this cornered and he's gonna
take good care of you, and he's got the Ben
and Skin Seal of approval. He is one of our
personal friends. Can't do better than Randy Parrish two four
two two seven eight four eight eight or online at
Parish Roofing Solutions Doc Ben and Skin Show ninety seven
point one The Eagle. All right, we're right in the
middle of some classic funny internet videos from the early
(57:48):
two thousands where they took the old Gi Joe animated
PSAs and they put their own audio on top of it.
And Ben's got the old time greatest one coming up
here in a second. But I was reminded of one
of my favorites, and it What you're gonna hear is
when you start hearing a little dance all reggae number.
Just know that there's a guy, a g I Joe
guy standing out the window. So there's a couple of
(58:09):
kids talking, and then you're you're gonna hear G I
Joe man just break out into a dance hall song. Yeah,
we should tually hit it again. But I get for.
Speaker 4 (58:25):
Wint Off.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
I'll watched the people like tan Fit. There both Ryan
Chinian Fit.
Speaker 1 (58:34):
They're both righting so shine Italian Fit.
Speaker 3 (58:37):
They're both riding full time Yaian Fit. They both right.
Speaker 1 (58:41):
G are the kids singing it?
Speaker 4 (58:44):
Dude? That not at first? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (58:47):
When do you hear that high part come in? Oh
my god, so good? It makes me laugh. Okay, so
I want to I want to say what I think
is the best one for last?
Speaker 3 (58:55):
That is so good.
Speaker 1 (58:56):
Let's go to the baseball one. These are kids kids
playing baseball.
Speaker 10 (59:03):
Now, I'm kidding, well, look what we got now, that's right, Billy,
I'm baking.
Speaker 3 (59:13):
I want you.
Speaker 1 (59:15):
I'm not gonna play Why not that guy because I
already had him?
Speaker 3 (59:20):
That's right. Kids already had him.
Speaker 10 (59:22):
I don't think so, hey, come here and it can't
play one, two, three, Join there. I'll get you one.
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
That's so weird, so weird, you don't go on. It's
a p s A four. It's stuff beating down there
(01:00:48):
over there. This one, this is the last one. This
is my favorite one. These are the old g I.
Joe p s as where someone Bozo dubbed over And
basically this one is the hero is showing up the
grown man who shows up at the house, and two
kids who are probably too little to be cooking, are
trying to cook something and they started a house fire,
(01:01:10):
and so the hero walks up and he's first excited
about what he thinks they're about to eat, and then
he realizes that these kids have put the whole house
in danger of burning down. You that cooking yet? Pork
chop sandwiches?
Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
Sh got it here?
Speaker 1 (01:01:32):
Why are you don't jotta.
Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Hear you stupid idiots?
Speaker 4 (01:01:37):
Real bad?
Speaker 1 (01:01:37):
Sit up? My gott death smellude.
Speaker 10 (01:01:41):
He takes it, you know, going and you tell me
do things I done?
Speaker 9 (01:01:47):
Running is in there looking at the kid when the
kids that made any sense. One of the first exchange
between the kids, you're not cooking.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
You're not cooking.
Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
You're not cooking, You're.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Not You guys are with the straight dog. And it
starts that kid going, oh hell no, dog, yeah, you
can find it right quick. I think I got it. Yeah, yeah,
I got I got it. I think there's a I
think there's an effeminate hero in this one looking on
(01:02:27):
the street. Oh hell no, what's up?
Speaker 11 (01:02:31):
Dog?
Speaker 3 (01:02:42):
Stop all the dop computer.
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
I don't know much about computers other than other than
the one we got in my house.
Speaker 7 (01:02:54):
My mom put a couple of games on there, and I.
Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
Played, that's gotta be the best one. It's so insane.
Got to be the best one. Oh my god. Oh
Joab then got out to our armed forces. You're doing
out there, Joe? Those important PSAs? All right, this is
the world famous Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one,
the Eagles, setting you up for a great weekend here
(01:03:18):
on a Friday. Coming up next, where are you gonna
take u kt? Let's look back at this week in
min and skin Show history. Next to nice haven't won
the Eagle? Before we do, let us sell you on
the greatness of Franklin Frankel. It doesn't need much selling.
If you've been involved in a wreck, you need the Frankels.
They're really good at what they do.
Speaker 3 (01:03:33):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:03:33):
They helped me. I got into a horrible wreck one
day on the toll way. It wasn't my fault. I
called the Frankels from the scene. It's never too early
to get them involved. That's what I did. I called
two one four all threes two one four, three three
three thirty three thirty three for Franklin and Frankel. They
did everything. They fought the other side so I didn't
have to. They set up the MRIs X rays physical therapy.
I never had to come out of pocket for that.
It costs you nothing to call the Frankels. They only
(01:03:54):
get paid if they reach the settlement. And that's exactly
what they did for me. They got me a nice
cash settlement.
Speaker 4 (01:03:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:04:00):
Look, they've done this for a ton of our listeners.
That's what happens when you have thirty years of experience
and being advocates for injury victims, which is what they
are and it's what they do. Call the Frankeles first.
As soon as you get hurt and a wreck or
job site incident, something could even be dog bites. Call
the Frankeles first. Two one four, three three three thirty
three thirty three or eight one seven, three three three
(01:04:21):
thirty three thirty three. Call the Frankeles first, telling beIN
and skin SENSI no out of pocket expenses and that's
why they're chosen by the people and feared by the
insurance companies. FI NK e L call Frankel first. All right,
it is the world famous Ben and Skin Show ninety
seven point one. The Eagle closing in on you know
what might be our last hurraiir. We just don't know.
(01:04:43):
We're not allowed to legally comment on anything, but we're
grateful for iHeart and for the Eagle, and for all
the listeners who have supported us over all these years.
But anyway, so let's just let's wrap this thing up
and see what happens over the weekend. Here's coming up
here in ten minutes, commercials from the two thousands that
have not held up. Tear down Turner is on the case.
(01:05:04):
But right now, it' stuff for this.
Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
It's time to go into the biting skids rule rebot.
Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
All right.
Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
This week in Ben and Skin Show history takes us
back in the day I've got a couple of clips
that I want to play. One's a song, but first
want to play a clip. There's a fella that works
for the Texas Rangers.
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
His title is.
Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
Executive vice President of Public Affairs. He's very instrumental to
helping build the new ballpark. His name is Rob Mattwick.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Been there for a long time. Great Rob Mattwick.
Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
But I don't expect you know, he's not out in
front of a lot of things. You know, you don't
see him in a lot of interviews and things like
that too much. You'd probably have to work in the
sports community to really know who he is. No like
his super household name or anything. But Rob Mattwick is
a big wig with the Rangers, and there's it's reasonable
to say, if you wanted a favor from the Rangers,
you might ask Rob Mattwick, although he's more in charge
(01:06:03):
of you know, public affairs and the community affairs and
building the hotels around the stadium and business like that.
Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
Business. So back this week had been in skin show history.
Five years ago.
Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
We wanted to go see Green Day and they were
playing at the Rangers new Ballpark, and Ben decided to
go ahead and shoot off a text to Rob Mattwick
high up on the Rangers chain, to say, hey man,
he gave Green Day ticket.
Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
It was Green Day and who else Chili.
Speaker 12 (01:06:32):
Peppers, Fallout Boy, Weezer too.
Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Okay, Weezer's that Weezer's the thing that was grabbed me.
I'd been on a Weezer kick Green Day and I'm like,
you know what, I don't really go to a lot
of concerts. I got a connection there. Why not let
me let me reach out. Let's do that.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:06:47):
Now, at the time, the Rangers general manager was John
Daniels as well. So I'm just going to play you
it's a ninety second clip here. But Ben has already
sent the text to Rob Mattwick of the Rangers. He
has not yet sent the text to John Daniels of
the Range.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
I hated it as soon as I hit sinned. I'm like,
I mean, I just it's so rude. I didn't ask
for tickets. I ask for a suite, but I had
a parking pass. It did not answer marking past you yes, right,
But I said, thank hey, I'm assuming the parking pass
comes with the suite. I said, is there possibly a
(01:07:25):
very small broom closet suite that maybe, uh, and he
read it as this guy's taking shots in our suite.
Why would we build a broom closet suite, he said,
not cater's class operation. No food, no drink, not catered.
Oh how they make their money off this ranger game?
And then you know the concert. That's what I and
(01:07:46):
I know this isn't a reasonable Feel free not to
respond something like that. By the way, did they get
that hotel finish? I'm humiliated. Well, I send that to
him and he did not respond. He responded to me.
He sent me a screenshot and circled it and said, wtf,
(01:08:10):
come get your boy. And now, meanwhile, I still hadn't
reached out to JD draft green Day. I didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
The music.
Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Shot man, I admire you. Would you be willing then
to look in your text, Shane and see the lasting
change you had with Rob Mattwick?
Speaker 3 (01:08:40):
Was it fat?
Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
Let's see five years ago? Okay, did you get him
on the show. It's been so long that I don't
even have one, like they're so whatever it was is gone.
Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
But now that we have a venue that sells tickets
to events, I realized that's the single worst thing you
could ask anybody is for free tickets. Yeah, Like that
sucks so bad. Now, if you're asking a promo person
who swims in tickets all the time, that's a different story. Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:09:10):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
And it so turned out that that concert that I
desperately was looking for tickets for, Christina and Mike Troy
went to it by themselves and we're in like a
twenty eight person sweep with not another person. There was
twenty six empty seats in them and if they're only stocks, sweet,
every iHeart employee that wanted it had their own individual suite.
We just didn't know because we talked to thought.
Speaker 12 (01:09:30):
That's funny.
Speaker 6 (01:09:31):
I didn't even ask anyone. I'm walking down there or
walking down the street, walking down the hall, and Dawn
just leans out christirioyo green day tonight, Like yes, sure.
Speaker 1 (01:09:40):
Why not? I'm blowing the air on the station. He manages, going, Man,
if I could just do anything to get tickets, We're
in an afternoon drive. I'm begging for tickets, waiting on
Mattwick to get back to us with the President of Baseball,
operator of business operations for the Rangers. Is that the
one where I asked JD. And it was like he
was like, that's not where we're We're out of town.
(01:10:01):
We don't have a game that day. It just took
over the field for god. But yeah, and did I
call him during the home run derby or something with
Joey gallow was up or something. It was like the worst.
That's good, bad tim You guys.
Speaker 5 (01:10:14):
Remember the local musician you haven't heard much from the
last few years. I think he had some drug issues.
DJ truck Nuts, Oh yeah, who made a lot of
remixes and things like that. DJ truck Nuts released the
song Crawfish on this day six years ago.
Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Oh yeah, here's the deal with crawfish. Crawfish, crawfish. The
crawfish is actually about crawfish.
Speaker 12 (01:10:33):
The energy is huge.
Speaker 1 (01:10:34):
Up too, saucy, thanks Kevin. People suck on the head,
what what what work I have to crawfish on the table.
That's the best part. People suck the mucus out of
the head of the crawfish, spot of shrimp. Deliver the
goods brain mucus. I wouldn't call it brain mucus. Mucus
(01:10:55):
baout bay up.
Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
Deliver the goods.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Us.
Speaker 4 (01:11:00):
I wouldn't call them.
Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Mucus. They have they get your hands all covered and
your face all covered. It's a lot of worse crawfish.
It's it's an experiential thing. So your eyelids sweat, mudbugs
and butterles.
Speaker 10 (01:11:14):
To bring a six pack too, saucy, messy stuff that
will make my whole body turn red.
Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Usually there's drinking going on, and it's oftentimes outdoors too. Saucy, saucy,
saucy sauce tabasca, and it's not that uncommon. Tabasca and
few saucy saucy. It's about the whole EXPERI saucy, the
sauce of your face, tabasca, and I feel great after.
Speaker 12 (01:11:43):
I just need to do it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
I just can't promish get myself. You do it once
a year or twice. And like a McGriff maybe saucy.
I tend to want to eat the little new potatoes
that come with it because they're not messy too. Saucy
finger the mcgrib meat. It's weird to run drink.
Speaker 7 (01:11:58):
Did that?
Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
What that's so good? So many good ones that I
don't remember, like hearing them for the first time. All over. Yeah,
all right, let's do this. Coming up next into big finish.
It's the commercials of the two thousands that didn't age. Well,
we'll do that to end the weekend right here on
the Eagle before we get there. Thanks again to our
friends at prosper Ford. Take the tollway, the whole way
and put prosper on your roster. Of course, if you're
(01:12:24):
up in prosper Little elm Soalina or Frisco, anywhere in
that area, Plano, then you should be going to prosper Ford.
That should be your go to Ford dealership. However, you
should go there if you live anywhere in the metroplex.
It's worth going there because you get to deal with
Edwin Rivera directly. Look, we're grateful for all of our
ad partners. When you support them, that keeps us on
(01:12:44):
the radio and we greatly appreciate that. Give our friends
at prosper Ford the chance to earn your business and
ask for Edwin Rivera by name. Yeah, Edwin's going to
guide you, He's going to hook you up. He's going
to make you leave that car a lot with a
car that you love at a price that you love.
That's we're talking about when we say vehicles you trust. Price.

(01:13:05):
no gimmicks. I always have transparent pricing. Working with Edwin
and the gang at prosper Ford is an awesome experience
and I would say let that continue on through to
the service department too. Their service department is fantastic. Tell
them Ben and Skin since you when you get out there,
and he can go to Prosperford dot com and see
the whole inventory of new and pre owned first. But
we say go at the pros and visit prosper Ford
(01:13:25):

now it's time for this Thank you. This thing's big.
Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
Let's conclude our series throughout the week looking at some
commercials from the past that haven't held up very well.
We're now entering the two thousands. Hell yeah, and you
know it still happens to the MTVMA Awards. Definitely always
have a lot of promotion for that and just didn't
think this age very well.
Speaker 14 (01:14:29):
For the next fifty three seconds, we'll take an in
depth look inside Diddy parties.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
Did He once threw a party on a jet flying
around the world. It started on a Tuesday and somehow
ended on the previous Sunday. I don't know how he
did that.
Speaker 14 (01:14:45):
Now that I'm engaged, I've decided to slow down a little.
Three Diddy parties a week, maybe four, well, not including
the weekends.
Speaker 13 (01:14:53):
It's hard to say which is more off the hook
A Didy party or Diddy after party or did he
after after party which is basically a pre party for
the next Didy party.
Speaker 14 (01:15:06):
A Didy party legend continuous for night at eight pm
seven Centron, It just celebrated back then.
Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
Just horrible.
Speaker 5 (01:15:16):
That's what they say though about people like they they're
so emboldened that they will show off. Like we talked
about yesterday the Cosby Mystery Show. On the promo for it,
there's a guy who's been putting roofies.
Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
In cocktails, right, but the Cosby will solve this case
with those parties, I don't. I have to believe that
there's no way that every single person that went was
involved and oiling up and all that crazy stuff, right,
And so I don't there's no way every one of
those parties was like that and everyone who attended was guilty.
Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
Right there.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
There's two things that make me think about when you
bring this out. Number One, you saw the Chappelle a
bit right on this and his last stand up when
he talked about going to a Diddy party Oh yeah, yeah,
yeah yeah, and then wondering like, oh what did he
not want me to be involved? And when did he goes, Dave?
What are you into? I'm over here, Smoga weed man.
(01:16:09):
But so there was that, and then there's also the
story that came out at the time where Denzel Washington
was violently trying to stop someone from going to a
Diddy party. Remember that.
Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
I can't remember the details of who he was talking to,
but Denzel was like, you are not going to that.
You don't want to be at that. Bad things happen
at that amazing. Yeah, but that's the thing too, about
like it happens in politics, and it happens in uh,
you know, the entertainment business. Very powerful, wealthy people get
protected for There's tons of people that knew what was
(01:16:40):
going on with Harvey Weinstein. Yeah, and you know what
they did. They turned a blind eye to it because
he may end up funding their next movie. That stuff
happens all the time Subway in the two thousands, unless
no denying.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
Your body's changed over the years.
Speaker 1 (01:16:58):
Yeah, they're in court with Jared Fogel. Your body's changed
over the years. Yes, sir, this committee must know.
Speaker 15 (01:17:04):
Did you ingest anything that helped create this change in
your physique?
Speaker 1 (01:17:08):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (01:17:10):
Go on.
Speaker 1 (01:17:11):
Usually a six inch turkey breast sub for lunch and
a footlung veggie delight for dinner.
Speaker 3 (01:17:15):
You get those over the counter.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
Yes, at a subway restaurant.
Speaker 4 (01:17:20):
Am I free to go?
Speaker 5 (01:17:23):
It's really just because it's him. I don't know if
there's like you think terrible that him and Court is
a little bit of you know, well, you know what
else does in age? Well, so basically he ate a
lot of carbs to lose weight.
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
It's a weird deal too. I don't know that that
holds up in court. FedEx had a very fushionable commercial
from the two thousands.
Speaker 11 (01:17:43):
Now bitch is the fist knife, the most venimous knife
in the world. One bite from him and it's all over.
Speaker 1 (01:17:50):
Ah, no worries mite.
Speaker 11 (01:17:53):
Luckily we've had the ay banom sent from America by
fe my line of work. You're not absolutely sure, you're
absolutely oh, rocket in a piece.
Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
We've used a.
Speaker 11 (01:18:03):
Different courier who hasn't roud yet. It's like i'd be.
Speaker 5 (01:18:06):
Cooledex commercial by Rattlesnake Biden.
Speaker 1 (01:18:13):
Are you serious? Yes, that is life imitating commerce art.
Yet they kind of great though. It totally reminds me
of the Norm McDonald jokes. Yeah, it's funny.
Speaker 4 (01:18:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Well, I wanted to.
Speaker 15 (01:18:28):
Talk about the Crocodile Hunter because I think, you know
it was It was tragic at the time, but I think,
I don't know, people calm and then they're shocked.
Speaker 1 (01:18:40):
Oh hey, you wouldn't believe that who got killed the
crocodile hunted? Don't please don't make me laugh at this.
Speaker 15 (01:18:52):
Forty four years old. I'm like, that's a ripe old
age for a crocodile. Well, you know, I had to be.
Speaker 3 (01:19:00):
Pissed about it.
Speaker 15 (01:19:01):
We're at the crocodile because, uh, he got killed by
some fruity fish.
Speaker 12 (01:19:07):
Right, stingery of old things.
Speaker 5 (01:19:12):
There's some game show on Fox that launched a couple
of nights ago, and it's like dumbest it's oh, yes,
the host of this game.
Speaker 1 (01:19:21):
Show is Robert Irwin, the so of Steve Irwin. How
about that, isn't it? And the daughter is like a
mini crocodile hunter, rightn't Didn't she carry on the family
tradition by bendy? Am I making stuff?
Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
I think bendy, Yeah, yes she is. She's out there
from riding the crocodile right now, don't That's what they
did though, But what was the point of like going
after crocodiles? What actually is Are you trying to catch
it and eat it? No, they were just trying to
like get on top of it for a minute. Take
a couple of pictures.
Speaker 1 (01:19:56):
It's the same thing. To the next swamp. Yeah, very
strange career. It's the same thing as jumping over buses
on a motorcycle. You're just showboating. Yeah, I've show bowed
as a career.
Speaker 4 (01:20:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Gary from Gary's Mattresses had a bad commercial. This is
this is weird.
Speaker 11 (01:20:11):
I'm Gary, I don't want and only Gary's Mattress.
Speaker 1 (01:20:15):
Now with locations in Koreatown and.
Speaker 2 (01:20:17):
Little Tokyo, we toard jumping up prices.
Speaker 4 (01:20:20):
I even we would buy it.
Speaker 1 (01:20:27):
Taddy's Mattress were blowing up prices. So he went after
the Middle East Jewish people all over. A very pleasing
jazzy bed that was good, and then the fragrance known
as unforgivable. You guys probably worse and unforgivable in your time,
didn't you. Skin used to wear a lot of drakar. Yeah,
(01:20:54):
why do I love you? Why does something that feels
so good looks like the shark pick music? I believe
in me from Seawan John. That's the great thing about
him and his crimes is that he had so many
(01:21:14):
different names. Yeah, Cosby just stuck with Cosby.
Speaker 5 (01:21:19):
Yeah, I mean he didn't even changed the name of
his his his drama TV show The Cosby Show. You
know what, we'll do the Cosby Mysteries. Let's keep my
branding in there.
Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
I'm one guy. I know that there is a decision
to be made. I wouldn't associate myself with Diddy, but
I'm fine associated with Sean John. You know, I just
felt like it's different. Yeah, what's his first name? Something
comes Sean p Oh, yeah, Sean John's. I was thinking
about this earlier. There was a little squirrely there was
(01:21:50):
a little a little squirrely rapper in Arizona that nobody
ever knew about that sued Biggie Smalls because he had
the name first. Oh that exactly. Yeah, really, so then
he changed his name to Notorious Big. But imagine being
the squirrel that was no, I'm Biggie Smalls. And then
you kept the name of like maybe the greatest rapper
of all time for his name, and you, meanwhile, you're
(01:22:12):
making music that nobody You gotta quit smoking. I'm sorry, man.
Let's end the show, Ben, what a terrible ending do
it all? With all the stress we're under, with all
these rumors. Let's let's just go to Rollertown right now.
Let's got friends, all right, We're gonna go to Rollertown.
That's good to do it for us. I'll never forget
the time that KT went to a Diddy party. He
(01:22:34):
was handed a bottle of baby oil. He looked Sean
John dead in the eye and he said, they changed
things on its quick on this world. So enjoy you
every minute while you have it. Are you gonna stay
here and play music? I am till ten hang with
the homegirl, kra right here on the eagle. There you going,
You're I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:22:48):
Gonna get my sock back, dude.
Speaker 4 (01:22:50):
God bless guys. Good luck in Frisco. I love the radio.
