Speaker 1 (00:00):

ruling it, get some with simmer, steep per suing it,
hollold out Shaw shank through the sewer. Kid, Now what
chill in that day?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Egal?

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Yeah, we doing it.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
Three o'clock on the dock.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Got a habit for my house, a go status Howard
starting to get ratic, shows that enough multiplied like a
rabbit two end zone out, crank it up, beat the habit.

Speaker 6 (00:33):
I'm on every hang out with her friends, rocking on
the radio, my home on the boy's kin.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Talking on the radio.

Speaker 6 (00:45):
It's time to to this walk.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
All christ up.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
On on the radio. Ah, Yes, Hello and welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
This is the world famous Ben and Skin Show ninety
seven point one The Eagle, Ben Rogers, Jeff skin Wade,
Kevin KT Turner, and Christina Kray.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Little Baby go Barbay.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
All hands on deck today for what's going to be
an incredible show coming up today at four point thirty.
I'm going to get into something that I was reluctant
to post about on tweeter. Politics. You know me, big
political guy, I'm gonna do it on the radio. Yeah, No,
it was. It has to do with Father Time, okay,

(01:33):
which every time I look in the rearview mirror of
my car and I'm driving, father Time is licking his
chops like he knows. I'm almost completely washed, just mostly washed.
And so you know, time time waits for no one, right.
And so I got up this morning and I was,
you know, scrolling the interwebs, getting ready for today's show

(01:54):
and learning about the universe we live in, and I
stumbled across a video of David Lee Roth performing Hell Yes,
Current Day.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Crash On. How old is he? Now?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I bet, I'm gonna guess. I bet David Lee Roth
is seventy five for seventy four. I'm gonna set the
over under at seventy four and a half and I'm
taking the over.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Kat Jerry looking up. Yeah, I got it, Okay, I
did too. Did you want many guess or did you know?

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I don't know. Yeah, but I'm thinking eighty eighty Christina,
I just saw it. Seventy one?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Yeah, whoa, really, man, he's done great? God those are
hard miles.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I got a chance.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Anyways, he's still wearing the tight spandex and he's out
there rocking, and he was performing the song jump. I
was able to grab the audio from that, but I
was also able to use some incredible software to just
extract his voice okay and get rid of the background sound.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
So we'll get into that. I'll play it.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I was reluctant to post it today though, because I
didn't want to be mean, but at the same time,
it's the reality of what it.

Speaker 7 (03:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Now, I just remember Frankie Valley and then when that
name of the guy they propped up there, he was
almost dead.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I think he's still killing him. He's doing great. Yeah, great, dude.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
He's wearing the red shirt that Mitch McConnell's wearing in
the hospital.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
There's a whole documentary where Paul Inca goes over to
Japan and sings to a sold out arena and he's
like barely standing up.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Anyways, I was thinking about that. I'm gonna get into
that later in trending and Ben coming up at four thirty.
But I was thinking about this when I bring up
a horse, a dog, and a bull. Yep, what does
it make you think of a horse a dog? Oh? Constellations?

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Nope, Oh that's a good one.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Why because they have the year?

Speaker 6 (03:46):
Ah?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Good job mag Yeah, okay, okay, no, it's it uh,
it's it involves a word we can't say, oh poop,
the word the S word. And so there's horse poop,
there's no, there's horse s, and there's bulls, and they're
all awesome to use as parts of your vernacular, but

(04:08):
they all have different usage. Yeah, and I believe that
dog s is the king. Bulls is the most common use.
And everybody knows. Okay, they're saying, this is not true.
This is bull as horse s is kind of a
it's better to me than bulls. It's like, man, this

(04:28):
is badass, all right, now we're talking. This is funnier,
it's better in so many ways. But dog ass it's
kind of kind of makes it more relatable and practical.
Most of us don't encounter bulls or horse s in
our daily activity, but all of us are surrounded by
dog ass. It's just like a lower rent form of s.

(04:49):
And so if you say, hey, man, that was dog ass,
that's like that's funnier and therefore more active. Right, So
isn't it a smaller poop than the other two. Yeah,
it's just lower rent poop. Bulls is a whole production
it's like it's like a giant plate of poop. And
then a horse will do what it does, like out
on the city street, so it takes carts around. Yeah,

(05:09):
so it's so that's how I'm power ranking it. Dog s,
horse s and then bull s. And I'd just like
to know if you guys agree.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
I love the dog, and I'll say why the hard
g with dog as well? Yeah, S it starts to
like it's too much. S is like all together at once,
right there. Yeah, that's why it makes it tough. BS
is fine, it's.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Fine, but it's it's it's like Ben's right, it's the touchstone.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
It's like everyone ice cream. Yeah, that's your granddad's s
words missionary.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
And you can also say Bolshevik instead and talk about
the Russian Revolution.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, uh, what about this?

Speaker 3 (05:46):
What if we encourage people people out there to do
a new one, babys and do it really angry?

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Oh man, that's babys.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
People are gonna look at you weird, Like no one
says what is he saying?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Cat? What else?

Speaker 3 (06:03):
What else is out there besides that? Are there other
animals or people? Or you can just make it. You
keep getting weird. You can say gladiator, there's chicken Oh
all right, okay, chicken ass is kind of like, oh
come on, that's a real half assed effort. That's a
bunch of chicken egs. Yeah, like you're scared, you're scared to.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Do it the right way.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah, wow, that's pretty good. She clearly grew up on
a phone. Yeah you know, but uh.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Do you guys have you guys used any of these recently?

Speaker 5 (06:32):
I always do a piece of oh.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Yeah, a huge piece of not identifying the creature that
created it, just that you're a piece of that.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Well, I think you should leave.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
There's a whole thing where it's because I used to
be a huge piece of ass.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Yeah, I actually saw that one. That was great.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
But there's there's You can say that an activity is
bulls course or dog ass, but when you say that
a person is. Yeah, I think if you say, dude,
you know what you are dog g ass, I mean
that to me, that's more powerful than you are bs
or you are horse horts.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Is still good.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, it just indicates that there's some sort of craziness
and yeah, folly a foot of some kind that But
dog ass is just like, dude, you.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Are dog ass. I mean, if you can use that right,
you're just terrible.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
You're absolute dog ass.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
You know what, I saw that presentation you put together,
and it was dog ass.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
That's been the best.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
And further, I think your chicken has to do a
better presentation.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
So don't bring that horseess around here anymore. We're sick
of your bs. There, you have it all right, those
are all the ways to use it. Come down next, Skin,
We're you gonna take some things.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Skin is tracking.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Should one be disappointed if they didn't enjoy the gas
station food they ate?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
We'll get to the bottom of that next.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I'll tell you something I always enjoy, and that's going
out to the Chalk Talk Casino and Resort and Rant, Oklahoma.
So much freaking fun. And don't forget the three month
three millionaires giveaway is underway. Two people have already walked
into the Chalk Talk Casino on Resort on the night
of one of those one million dollar drawings, and they
left with checks for one million dollars, not a payment plan.

(08:18):
They left with a MILLI think about that. How would
a mill change your life? You still have one more
chance to do that. Now it's about a month from now.
Put it on your calendar. You're gonna want to be
at the Chalk Talk Casino and Resort on Saturday, August
twenty second for their next million dollar drawing. Yeah, and
look again, July thirty first, we're doing our show there
from three to six. They're like, wait, you're telling me

(08:39):
to go July thirty first and then have a chance
to win August twenty second. Yes, go every weekend because
every time you play with that Choctaw Rewards club card,
every single time, that's another entry and another opportunity to
win a million dollars.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
So go see for yourself.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Check out the resort, the swim Up Pool, the swim
Up bar at the pool, all the great restaurants, the
Steakhouse eighteen thirty two, and then all the gaming. It's
all happening ninety minutes north of Dallas on Highway seventy five.
Get away to it all at the Chalk Talk Casino
and Resort and Durant, Oklahoma, Ben and Skin Show ninety
seven point one The Eagle.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
We're giving away Weezer tickets this week.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
If you have never seen Weezer and concert, they are
so much fun and they rock balls. So be listening
for your chance to win. You're gonna probably give it
away in the next maybe the five who could know.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
You just gotta listen.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
We'll use your talkback feature on the iHeart app for
your chance to win these tickets. If you don't have
the app, you better download it now. Your chance is
coming later in the show Who won the Big Box
Office This Weekend? KT has details in fifteen. But first track.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
Another edition of Things Skin is traffic.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
I'll go around the horn, start with Christina. First thing
that comes to your mind? Gas station food.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Just so okay? Pizza okay, Kevin, awesome spurritos, Baby Allsops burritos, Yeah,
tell me about them. They're the best burritos ever made.
Is that right, Assips? Which is so good that they
don't even have to go into the big city. They
say on the outskirts. They're so popular there they don't
even need to come into the big city.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
Is that country? Gas station Alsips.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
The worst thing about living in DFW okay is that
we don't have an ALLSIPS. I think there is one
Fort Worth and on that side of town. Dallas should
have an ALLSIPS, and they don't.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Are you sure? I thought there was like one hundred
and forty seven of them here. I would take the
summer heat. Is the worst thing about living here, not
access to a particular gas station.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Sound like a guy who's never had an awesome spurito.
That's fair.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Yeah, I'm not eating gas station food. There's two exceptions.
There's there's one place over by Haymaker Rollertown, right there
in Main Street that's at a gas station attached to
a restaurant. They do actually sell their food there at
the Red Shure. And then of course there's BUCkies and
BUCkies is I mean, let's not overdo it. People over

(11:02):
hype it, just like they do the Sandlot.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yep. But it's it's good. It's not great.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
You've told me. BUCkies is like your personal butcher. Isn't
that where you get your fast meats? You can buy
meat there. I have bought meat there before. And there's
the weirdest thing ever, and they're a bunch of y'all's
freezer Christina, don't you have a particular pork butt you
get there or something?

Speaker 1 (11:19):
What was all that?

Speaker 6 (11:20):
Yeah? That's good, Yeah, pork loin that's like wrapped in bacon,
it's got crab meat in the middle and like shrimp
and cheese.

Speaker 5 (11:26):
It's delicious.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
And if any if you want to trust pork and
then seafood, trust it that's gone through at gas station.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
I definitely want some gas station shrimp.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Yeah, Buckis is not a gas station, but that's an
entertainment superstore. Is that what they call themselves.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
That's what I'm calling them right so this morning.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
So in general, gas station food is wonky, but there
are some places that are attached to reputable Oftentimes you'll
see them as takaria is. I think the most famous
one around town is fuel City with the Zebras. They
have a takeria attached and it's a restaurant. You see
that a lot. And to Ben's point, sometimes you can
get it inside the gas station and outside both. So

(12:11):
I went to a place this morning that was attached
to a cafe and I was kind of looking at
what was left. This is about nine forty five, so
it's questionable time already. Yeah, and I'm looking and I
was like seeing what was available, and all of it
is I don't eat pork, So I'm like, yeah, I go, hey,
are you guys out of these chicken biscuits. She goes, no,

(12:32):
we have two left. I was like, oh, wow, is
it good. She goes, Oh, you're gonna love this. Oh
you're gonna love this salesperson. And so I was like, well, hell,
that seems she seems pretty sincere and convicted. How would
I not love this chicken biscuit I'm about to get. Man,
it's barely edible. Oh And so as I was looking

(12:53):
at it and then going, I don't want to eat
this non chicken. I don't This isn't a I don't
even think this is actual chicken. So then I was
looking at the flakes of the biscuit. So I took
some of the flakes and put some jelly on it,
just to get some sort of nourishment. But as I
was eating it, I was like, I don't blame this lady.
Like I'm I don't blame her. I got gas station

(13:15):
chicken biscuit. There's nobody to blame but me, right, And
so I was just curious if you guys ever you
know dabbling an occasional chicken biscuit at a gas station
or you know they man, I know that at Mike's
Jimini Lounge. You love that they had the rollers. Yeah,
but those are Wagoo dogs on a roller. Yeah, think
about that. That's a real place those are. But I mean,

(13:38):
hold on a second. I wouldn't go that far because
it is just a hot dog roller. But it is,
but you're very excited by it. It's a wagu beef
hot dog from Jimmy's, which is top shelf hot doggery
in It's Italian kitchen to lut so, But it is
still just a hot dog rollers, a.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Hot dog roller.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
But yeah, I mean, I mean, I would love to
if if Rollertown had a hot dog roller. I think
that'd be one of the best things ever. Man, how
do you not already right?

Speaker 5 (14:07):
It would be great.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
It'd be so easy just to pop hot dogs on
there the rollers. And one of my favorite things to
do is to go to a busy gas station and
just watch the people that are looking at that food. Yeah,
at anytime, really, I'm like, ooh, okay, look at this guy.
He's making some decisions over here.

Speaker 5 (14:26):
I think you would have found something that would have
been a little more edible if you had been there at.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
An earlier hour.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Nine forty five. You're into the bench players. The starters
have already been consumed. Think about that bench breakfast at
that time.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
I'm getting food at the worst time that you can
get food at a gas station. I mean, there's like
three strikes before you take a swing. There are some,
really there are some hot dog rollers at gas stations
where you have no.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Idea how long that dog's been there rolling.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
It's still rolling like a roller stone, but man, it
could have been there for three weeks.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Are those blue spots or those normal on.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
That This is also coming from a guy who orders
steak at McDonald's.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Oh did I send you the text message that I
got one text? One of our listeners out there in
the world is like, damn bro, stay.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Yeah, movin yo. It's on.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
All right, There you have it. There's things Skin is
tracking coming up next. KT is gonna walk us through
the weekend box office. Next on the Eagle. Ah, yes,
it is the world famous Ben and Skin show coming
up at four o'clock, a new Florida report. We don't
even have to tell you what's in that segment. We're
just talking about Florida, so you can pretty much guess.
At three forty three forty five is Christina's cookie jar.
Whe're you gonna take us in the jar today.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Christina got a pizza music collab to tell you about.
I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Well, yes, we'll get into that. Maps traded about four fifteen,
but right now it's time for this in.

Speaker 4 (15:45):
Tainment and line.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Yeah, I would like to say that later in the
show for the big finish around five forty. Ben and
I saw The Odyssey over the weekend. I know, Christina
Skin didn't get to it. You get you got to
carve out two hours and fifty two minutes plus previews.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
I saw.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I just I saw Disclosure Day, okay, and it only
started twenty five minutes after the time it said it
was going to start.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Okay, Yeah, that's that's a problem. Yeah, but uh so
we will give a spoiler free review, so if you're
someone who's wanting to see it, we won't give too
much away, you know, but so mostly spoiler free review,
Thank you, and.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
H Spoiler free of a classic piece of literature that's
been around for centuries.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
We'll dive in.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
It's right, it's it's about Pinocchio, all right, did he
tell lie?

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Don't tell me.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
I don't want to know if he's a real boy
or not.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
It's a part of the segment.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
But okay, all right, okay, So here's how it did though,
the Christopher Nolan movie starring Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne
Hathaway and ninety other people that you probably know. Zinday,
isn't it for a little bit just out of nowhere?
Wearing the same thing she wore in Dune?

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I didn't like that casting. I'm like, what, oh is
she playing her character in Dune?

Speaker 7 (16:57):
Like?

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Why is she? Why couldn't you get somebody else? Confusing?
Very confusing? What if she was rue?

Speaker 5 (17:05):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (17:05):
So the Odyssey? Did y'all see how much it made
in America?

Speaker 5 (17:08):
No, you don't want to guess, because I like when
you guys get I think it's it's harder because when
you have a three hour movie, you can get fewer
screenings in So basically on a daily basis, you're gonna
get one fewer screening.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
However, my buddy did text me and say, my son
is going to see it in Imax at two thirty
am next Thursday.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
Ye what you're saying, though, like I hear knocking down
the time available, the buzz supersedes all that by a ton.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
So I'm gonna say, one hundred and ten million, one
hundred and ten.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
We saw it at the IMAX joint over off web Chapel,
and six thirty five is like one of only thirty
of them or something. Yeah, in America, And my son
said it's booked solid for the next month.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Oh, Mike, Yeah, I'm gonna wait for it to it. Yeah,
I'm gonna wait for it.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
Uh no, man, See, we're always waiting on you to
talk about stuff.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
You're talking about it it five forty five today?

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah, what's better for alling on it?

Speaker 6 (18:03):
Two hundred and fifty tillion fifty Christina, I believe I
saw it this morning.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
I think it was too ten.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Wait, that's worldwider, just us, just us, okay, just a
missed twenty.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
Yellow War twenty four. Wow, my memory sucks.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
So I went now she saw it.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
I did see it this morning.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Were you eating a gas station chicken?

Speaker 6 (18:25):
Mask? I wasn't really paying attention. I just saw like, oh, yeah,
that's a big number.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
That's what I do too.

Speaker 5 (18:30):
Yeah. Now globally it was way more than that that
I wish I had in front of me.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I was talking global numbers.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Yeah, I think it's three hundred and ten million, dollars globally.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
So since everyone's all, you know, really into the Odyssey
and that's you know, the big story, what else was
getting out there?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
What are people seeing though? What was next on the
box office?

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Let me just say that seven thirty Saturday night disclosure day?

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Oh half full? Okay, it was It's tenth this week.
I got one point four million.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
I was part of that.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
Yeah, Toy Story five still still out there.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
It was fourth, It's still got in fifteen million?

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Is there a Moana movie out there?

Speaker 5 (19:10):
Was a movie? Number two?

Speaker 1 (19:11):
Was Moana?

Speaker 5 (19:12):
The Rock is actually in it as the Rock I
guess live action nineteen million.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
That's disappointing for them, right, very disappointing for that.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
But how much did the Honesty cost to make two
hundred and fifty million and they made it back already?
Well no, because usually yeah, but usually if you spend
two hundred and fifty million on making it, you're gonna
spend another two hundred and fifty million promoting it. But
they are going to make it back. I mean, I
bet they're going to be past five hundred million globally
in a week.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
Yeah, they might be over three hundred million globally now Yeah,
so there was the movie. Obsession came in at number eight. Okay,
this is the movie that cost a million dollars to make.
I also watched that. I've seen it the date you did. Yeah,
we went and saw a couple weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Tomorrow, tomorrow, we do this tomorrow. Yeah, I mean I'll
probably see it tonight.

Speaker 5 (20:02):
Hang me in Benner kind of the new Ciscel and
Ebert because watching it two hundred? Did you watch it
before after the Odyssey before? I watched it a few
weeks ago. Yeah, so I watched it after the Odyssey,
a day after the Odyssey. And watching a two hundred
and fifty million dollar movie into a one million dollar
movie is crazy. Yeah, I've been dizzy all weekend. I
think I have heard ago. Yeah, we watched it.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
We just went.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
We were out of town for my daughter's basketball tournament.
We had like a four hour window and my wife
and I just went and saw it. We went to
the theater without even knowing what to watch. And it
was the one that was starting.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Anything about it. Didn't know anything about it, No I
anything about it. And tomorrow on the show, Ben and I.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Will give a spoiler a view of Obsession because why not. Yeah,
I think y'all would like it. Did you like it? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (20:48):
I did very much. Oh, we thought it was really good.
I thought it was really good.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
This one is obsession or this is possession their session.
What's the other one? Yeah, the backdoors, backdoors, back rooms.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Oh, that's the one with a teenage mom.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
Backdoors.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Christina had a song called backdoor Party. I hired a
country guy to singing with her. We're open for.

Speaker 5 (21:07):
A backdoor party. Jackass was thirteenth this week. Oh yeah,
fun the other yeah the other week. Yeah, all right,
five forty today, the big finish.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I'll be listening. You'll be here coming up next to Christina.
We are you gonna takes to the cookie Jar.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
There's a really cool pizza music collap happening here in Dallas.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
I'll tell you about it.

Speaker 7 (21:26):
Not so.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Ben and skin Show ninety one The Eagle.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
I'm looking down at the clock here and I see
we have a Florida report coming up in fifteen minutes.
What's the latest lewd behavior in Florida? Stick around to
find out.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
But first.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
It's time to pop the top your hands and it's
grabbatory from Christina's Cookie Jar.

Speaker 6 (22:09):
Is so About a year ago, Prince Street Pizza opened
the location here in Dallas.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Yes, on Greenville, Aveny right or Henderson, Yeah, Henderson right off, Henderson.
OK's gone. I went four times. Oh I haven't been yet.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
It's really good.

Speaker 6 (22:24):
You can get an entire pizza, like a whole pie
or just by the slice. I went for my birthday
and it was delicious.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
What's the stas like? What style of pizza is it?

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Okay, yeah, they have Detroit, they have the New York.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Style, they got deep it's whatever they got that day. Yeah,
oh it's Surprised Pizza.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
Well, they just started this collaboration with Avenge Sevenfold and
Good Charlotte, and I know you guys, don't really I
want this to happen with more bands because this is
freaking awesome. So not only did both of these bands
give them a special pizza pie, so you can go
to and Street Pizza order either a little Pizza Heaven.

Speaker 5 (23:03):
This is a Venge Sevenfolds Pizza.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
It's got smoked mozzarella, spicy vodka, sauce, beef pepperoni, and
this charcoal infused dough so it looks black because that's
a Venge Sevenfolds.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
Whole deal.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
That sounds great.

Speaker 6 (23:17):
They look delicious too, and then Good Charlotte's got one
called the Deserve You Pie and this is more of
like a white pizza garlic cream base with mozzarella, mushrooms,
basil pesto on there and with lemon ricotta.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Oh I love ricotta on my pizza.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
I'm telling you.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
These both sound delicious, and so you can go there,
you can order one of these, and if you are
in their loyalty program, you order one of these, you're
automatically entered to win tickets to the show because they're
playing here August to believe, Yeah, August twenty first at
Do Seki's.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
This is badass. It's really cool, and so they're happening.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
They're doing this.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
It just Select Locations in Dallas is one of those locations,
and I think that's all awesome. And not only do
they have these custom pizza pies, they also have like
gear like t shirts and stuff that you can order too,
and the pizza boxes come with like Good Charlotte's logo
on there and Avenge seven Fools as well, like on
the collectible pizza box.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Really place to do that.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
I went to a coffee place you just shirt actually
it's called coffee mos uh huh. Seriously, I'm not doing
them fun. It's like an emo coffee shop, so you
go in. All the drinks are like named after like
bands of the Emo world. I would lodge like I
had it. I legitimately had a coffee or today named
after my Chemical Romance.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Okay, see that's a bads.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Yeah, that's great marketing me more of that, because you
could just go have a coffee and have it be
called a coffee.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Yeah, but you had an experience. I had a cold brew,
but I in said I had the ghost of you.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
So that would be worth it for you to go
out of your way to go spend your money there.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Absolutely absolutely, would you.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
I'm being as sincere as I can be, and I
know you you got to question that, but I'm I'm
looking you in the eye, Kevin, and I'm being honest
with you.

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Don't you smile?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
It's a hard thing.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Seriously, would you please do me a favor and make
a short playlist of five my Chemical Romance songs that
you think I would like.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
I very much like any of them. Really, I'll just
make you a playlist.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah, okay, no, but you know what I like, and
I would be interested if you were to guest or
I think he'll like these because I've never done my
chemical romance dive.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I never have. Okay, Kat, will you do me a favor?
Make me a mixtape?

Speaker 3 (25:28):
And you're really trying to get in my pants, but
you're acting like we're just friends.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
But make me a tape? Oh easy?

Speaker 5 (25:34):
Okay. R Kelly's best.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Hit you if you were going to go down Ben's pants,
would you go the front or the back first?

Speaker 5 (25:42):
You know, CDs are making to come back, Kat, if.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
You want to. It's happening on her watch allowed this
to happen.

Speaker 5 (25:52):
You know what she's hearing my segment.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
This is true though.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
My buddy, our buddy Luke over at Josie Records said
that there is a whole generation of teenagers that come
in and buys deaf Tones CDs like that's their jam.
They love the deaf Tones and they want to buy
Deaftnes on CD.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
I'm just like, how are they playing them?

Speaker 4 (26:10):
You know?

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Like are they buying CD players along with them?

Speaker 5 (26:14):
That's it? Like I have an alarm clock anymore, but
I have a CD player on my arm clock.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Him, that is so.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
Him because they're not in cars anymore either, so I'm
glad to see it, but I'm like, how are y'all
playing these things?

Speaker 5 (26:25):
The worst thing ever happened to me I was getting
a used car or leasing a car. Got down the
road and realized I didn't have a CD player. I
threw all my CD books out the window. Four CD books,
just full, they'll weigh ten pounds each.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
They got run over by semi. Such a nervous breakdown,
and try to take it back there?

Speaker 5 (26:42):
Did you just sign the thing? Tell me there's no
CD player?

Speaker 1 (26:46):
Ok look at him? Ben?

Speaker 5 (26:48):
Sorry, Okay, where we're going?

Speaker 6 (26:50):
So today I'll end with this. Today is Chris Cornell's birthday.
I believe he would have been sixty one.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (26:58):
And uh, late last week this drops of Soundgarden. They've
been working on that final album with those final recordings
of Chris Cornell, and Kim Thios said, hey, guess what
it's coming next year? Okay, at some point next year
we're finally going to get to hear that album. So
and eight or nine songs on it. So I'm excited,
by very excited.

Speaker 5 (27:17):
I am too.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
He's probably I mean, well, now there's others, but I mean,
he's If you were to say he's the greatest rock
singer of all time, I wouldn't disagree with you.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
Yeah, he's so incredible. It's also the day Chester Bennington
of Lincoln Park died. Oh wow, I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
All right, there you have it. There's the cookie jar
hijacked in the middle of it. Coming up next, it's
the Florida Report. That's all you need to know things
that happened in Florida. Next, all right, I referenced this earlier.
Get out there and do me a favor. Go find
my Twitter account at Ben Rogers on Twitter and watch
this video I posted of.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
David Lee Roth and it just man, it's.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
I've isolated the audio so we can take a listen
here on the radio, but you probably should get the
visuals to The MAVs made a trade, and it's fascinating
to me. This is just a trade. It's just a
proof that people are willing to bitch about anything. But
right now it's time for this down to flow.

Speaker 5 (28:14):
I got.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Look, I have two Florida stories for you.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
Florida tattoo artist has been put in jail after he
was spotted outside an apartment building at two thirty am
with his pants down, inserting.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Let's go back to our CD conversation.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
Something that you might buy at like an adult store.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
What do you mean he was inserting himself into the discussion.

Speaker 5 (29:00):
Yes, he was really searching deep down inside something himself
with a prong to try to be a better man.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
Yes, that's a Pearl Jam song.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
It is Jonathan Namath arrested for a decent exposure, booked
into the jail with what what was the charges?

Speaker 1 (29:20):
No?

Speaker 7 (29:21):
No?

Speaker 1 (29:21):
What was the device that he had? What like a
like a you said, yeah you used insert Yeah?

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Well yeah, is it a thing that mounts on the wall?

Speaker 5 (29:37):
It can is it the thing?

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Is it the thing you pull out of the bedside
table when there's a blackout and you're like, no, this
doesn't have a light coming out of it. But it
feels like with that, this is more like, oh, he's terrible.
When you use that during a blackout, it's like a
pickle And then the lights come on and you're holding
and your kids are like, what is that? It's a
he wrote it? And then you throw it at your

(30:01):
wife and she catches it. It's hers.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Why would she did that? Exactly? Yeah, we're not talking
thermous situation.

Speaker 5 (30:14):
The next time you get a tattoo, Yeah, you have
to assume that the tattoo artist is this guy.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
I still don't know what he had. Well, I don't
know either he had. I'm assuming he had.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
A KRILLI yeah, okay, oh yes, so he oh so
it was so he wasn't doing.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
He was trying to get all extra push he was.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
He was checking his overall in her health. Okay, it
was amometer forty four. He's like, I should give a
frost hit check. So what at two thirty with my pants?

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Why did you have to share that he was a
tattoo artist. Well, it's a part of the story, is it?

Speaker 5 (30:54):
Hell?

Speaker 3 (30:56):
What other identifying factors like? There's a lot of times
that we talk about news stories that we don't talk
about the person's vocation. Right, the guy who was kicking
around the head like a soccer ball. I don't know
if that guy was a dentist or I don't know
what he does.

Speaker 5 (31:09):
Man.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
I saw the story recently.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
It came back up where they go try the judges denied,
you know whatever, the death penalty for the hotel worker
that beheaded.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
Do you guys remember this story.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah, I was watching that going, Oh, I forgot. They
got an argument, so he beheaded him. Do you know
what the argument was over? If the dryer was gonna work?

Speaker 1 (31:31):
It was a laundry thing. It was a laundry thing.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
It's a pretty casual situation. So he just chopped the
guy's head off. I don't push my buttons, buddy.

Speaker 6 (31:38):
See, maybe if he was doing what this guy was doing,
he wouldn't have been so angry.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:42):
No, But also you know, this guy's got two kids.
His wife is going through a divorce. They were going
through a divorce. They're still working through that.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
I wonder why. Tough thing.

Speaker 5 (31:53):
It's a tough thing to tell the fam. That's a
pretty good way to lose custody. You caught at two
thirty in public, pants down, wishing behind while it's an
odd thing to imagine over in Florida. Also though, there's
a place called Wildman's Pizza or Wildman's and what you

(32:14):
know in Florida.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
We've talked about this.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
We had Gary Snakes on last week to talk about
the invasive Everglade python orgies and how they the snake
hunters have been interrupting python orgies because it's just gotten
so bad. So if you bring a dead python into
Wildman's Pizza, you will get a free pizza at the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
It's such a problem there.

Speaker 5 (32:34):
They'll give you a free pizza if you can just
bring in a dead python.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
What a giveaway? What do they do with the python?
Any want to know?

Speaker 5 (32:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (32:52):
I saw this and I was confused because they did
kind of make it sound like you could order a
python pizza, bring in the python.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
They made it sound like they would.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
I thought we had a story not too long ago
where people were serving up python on pizzas.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Remember, okay, the guy's name is Dusty Crumb. He looks
exactly like Dusty Crumbs.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
He said, you get any python, you get a free
specialty pizza of your choice. It's a thing, you know,
especially the local kids. They catch them and they don't
know what to do with them. They're hungry, they want pizza.
So you just bring a dead python and we'll give
you a pizza.

Speaker 6 (33:30):
I do know that he makes like belts and stuff
out of the snake skin.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Yeah, so snakeskin boots.

Speaker 8 (33:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
So he's having the kids go out there and get
his material because the margin on snake skin belts is
way higher than the margin on pies. Remember Gary Snake
said this thing where it was like, you get a
kid in a foreign country to go get like a
deadly snake, and then he gives it to him and
they gives them a shiny quarter.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Remember he said, you'll never forget the look at a
kid's face.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
But they go catch the deadliest snake, hand it over
and he gives them a shady quarter and it's shiny.
He act like it was a charity thing he was doing,
but he's just getting free snakes or twenty five cent snakes.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
All right.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
There you have the Florida Report coming up next, the
MAVs have made a trade.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Let's talk about a DFW.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Next Ben and Skin Show ninety one point one the Eagle.
In the next hour or so, we're gonna give away
those Weezer tickets. Be listening, don't miss the second of
the show so that you know what the answer is
when we ask the question the next hour or so.
To win those Weezer tickets, Gonna use the iHeart app
for that. This segment's brought to you by Franklin frankl
longtime friends and partners of the show all the way,
go back, going back to two thousand and eight. If

(34:39):
you get hurt in a record on the job site,
it's not your fault. Call the Frankeles first two, one, four, three, three, three,
thirty three, thirty three. All right, now let's do this.

Speaker 7 (34:48):
Now.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
It is cool around the sports KT tweets as.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
All the sports. All right, So the Mavericks have done
in business here. They got the number one pick of
the twenty twenty four draft. That's right, they got him
number one. Let's go Zachary resa che Back to back
number one picks, twenty one year old from the Atlanta Hawks,
Zachary resa che Man.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
I saw this and I thought it was a typo.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
I couldn't even believe it because I thought the Maps
were trying to do a deal for him and included
Gafford and all these other things, and they couldn't pull
it off. And then they got him for nim Hard,
who's probably not even going to ever play for the
Mavericks moving forward, and a second round pick and another guy.
I'm like, dude, they've wildly underpaid. He's the number one
overall pick the year before Cooper Flag. But obviously you

(35:40):
hadn't necessarily panned out. He's been decent, but you know,
that kind of fits into what they're looking for, young
players that fit around the Cooper Flag timeline that have upside.
Let's go see if you can develop him into something great.
He's got the measurables, and what's not to like about
that deal? I think like, if you can if he
can turn into a third thirty eight to thirty nine

(36:01):
percent three point shooter, it's a home run. Now, he's
never going to live up to lottery billing. It's just
not who he is now. They're they're, well, I shouldn't
say that he's twenty one years old. There's a lot
of things that can happen here. Development wise, he had
enough talent to be looked at. I mean, he was
a Nuther one pick in a week draft, but still
lottery talent is lottery talent whether you're picked first or

(36:23):
eleventh or whatever. So then you know what's his makeup,
what's his mentality, like, what's his work ethic?

Speaker 1 (36:28):
All those things?

Speaker 3 (36:29):
And you know, we were talking about this on House
a Haymaker earlier today. That's our sports network that we
have where we do sports talk. If you're if you're
if you have a guy that has those intangibles and
those kinds of things, Massiu Jerry has a long history
of turning guys like that into real badass NBA players,
and all he has to do is sit down and

(36:51):
show Rishache, here's everything we did with pastcle Siakam. You
want to be as good as him, and there's a
blueprint right now. Whether it happens, that's a totally different story.
But I'm with you, Ben. I look at this as
they didn't give up much to get him, and that's
the kind of swing you want to take. I saw
people upset about this, and I'm like, for what reason?

(37:11):
Like second round picks, there's no guarantee they're ever going
to do anything. Who cares Ryannimhart I liked a lot
about him, but he's tiny, little and it's hard for
him to be on the court and do anything defensively.
And so I don't I don't you know, you're I
don't think he was ever going to be a part
of your plan moving forward. And so you know you
could sit here and say, well, he was the number

(37:32):
one pick, he'll never live up to that.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Well few do.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Yeah, regardless, is was he should he have been a
could he have been a top fifteen pick in this
last draft, or top twenty even will then throw him
in the mix and see if he has anything. You're
not contending, You're You're just trying to rebuild around Cooper Flag.
So go take as many flyers on talented young players
as you can and Seevie can develop them and see
what happens. Man, if he ended up being having the

(37:57):
career Dorian Finney Smith had, then the trade is worth it. Yeah,
Dorian Phinney Smith, I believe was undrafted. I know they
wanted to take him in the second round, but I
can't remember how that worked out. But anyways, Dorian Phinney
Smith couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and
he worked relentlessly at his three point shot and became
a big part of the rotation for the MAVs with
Luca during those great years. And so hey, man, if

(38:19):
if he ends up having a career like Dorian, then
this is worth it. And that was great, And he
hit the league average in threes right like he hit
the league average of thirty six percent or something. He
needs to because of what his offensive game is. He
needs to be one of those thirty eight to thirty
nine percent three point shooter. That's not I mean, that's
a few points higher. You know, you're you're not talking

(38:40):
about revamping the guy's whole game.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
No, he's.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
I mean he's And that's the other reason why you
don't draft a three and D guy number one.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
You need him to have other things.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
And I know there's scating reports like hey, he's got
a good handle, he's fluid, and all these kinds of things.
And then also context matters. Maybe this is going to
be a better developmental situation for him here.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
He's again, he's twenty one.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
He just turned twenty one, yeah in April, so he'll
be twenty two at the end of next season.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
So they don't have picks moving forward that they control,
so why not go getting a time machine, go get
it picks from other drafts.

Speaker 5 (39:14):
I just think of the way they've dug themselves out
of the situation that they had created for themselves is
really incredible. And I think it does go back to
the Anthony Davis trade and just kind of starting anew there.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
And if I was not even here.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Yet, now give Riccardi and Finley a lot of credit
for that. I didn't want them doing any major moves
because I'm vehemently against assistant general managers making big moves.
But I think it totally worked out, and I think
you got to give those two guys a lot of credit.

Speaker 5 (39:39):
Matt's not here anymore, but Mike still is.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
And that was a huge That was a huge gift
to MASSI to walk into that situation.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
It's good to feel good again.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
Yes, all right, that was great man, all right, that's
good enough. Coming up next, it's trending in Ben father
time against van Halen, the discussion neck. Oh yes, this
is the world famous Ben and Skin Show. Ninety seven
point one The Eagle. Thank you for everyone who's honoring
our need to stay silent on the rumors. We cannot

(40:09):
address any of those rumors. And as for today and
hopefully for a long time, we're going to be right
here on ninety seven point one The Eagle. But some
things are just out of our control. Coming up here
in ten minutes, it's a weekly weekday update. The explosive
diarrhea disease that Lettuce has caused. That's next, but right
now it's not for this reach.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
Down and grab a couple of plump tomatoes.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
It's time for sports ketchup, catchup spots, spots, catchrop catchup puns.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
All right, the World Cup is over. Your champion is Spain.
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
They must be pretty good at soccer over there.

Speaker 3 (40:50):
That's a good take, Kevin. Beating France was so amazing.
I was just that's that's where you're that's where you
went it all there, yep, won it all and then
they just had to fend off a tough match with
an Argentinian team that couldn't get a single shot off.

Speaker 5 (41:06):
Yeah match, you know it was.

Speaker 3 (41:10):
They had like no shots on goal for most of
the game, right, You're.

Speaker 1 (41:14):
Like, it's still zero zero ye.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
At the very end, Messy almost made some magic happen, Yes,
like almost. And it was that one high looping ball
that he tried to like can of corn and curl
it in there like Beckham. That was unbelievably close. I
don't even think in the broadcast they realized how close
it was. But yeah, he almost put that right in
the goal, top left corner. I had a lot of fun.

(41:40):
I watched that game. It's the most of the World
Cup I watched. I watch pretty much that whole game,
and it was a lot of fun. I found myself going, God,
I wish I'd watched more of that.

Speaker 5 (41:48):
Yeah, it's not a great representation of the World Cup
actually because it was a very lopsided match even though
it was nothing.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
But that's the beauty of the thing.

Speaker 5 (41:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
The only other sport that'sliked that really is hockey, where
you can dominate someone and lose. I mean, because it's
I'm sitting there talking about that goaltender for Argentina do
streak amazing. Okay, so that's a new that's a new
finals record, like nobody's had that many saves in a
finals match ever, and a good I mean, he was incredible,

(42:18):
but a good chunk of it was he was in
the right place on all those shots. And you know,
a big part of that too is can you gather
the ball up? Like that's a big part of this
because if guys rush the net, that things just floating
right there and no one can use their hands.

Speaker 5 (42:33):
You know what's that's so funny about him Those people
on my side of the family that are more into
soccer than the other side of the family.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
Uh huh. We're saying that he's kind of known as
a fraud. What does that mean? Like he was not
that good, but every.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
Time the World Cup happens he shows out, but like
in like regular play that he's not that good.

Speaker 1 (42:50):
Oh okay, how many of those guys are like there are?
Like do you yep? I never forgot about that.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
I guess I don't really know a lot about it,
but I'm curious. Are how many of those guys like
in that finale are stars and leagues elsewhere?

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Probably a good portion of them.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
Yeah, all that is that like for somebody who's really
into football, is that like watching an All Star game?

Speaker 1 (43:16):
Go, oh yeah, there's MM and M and M and him.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
And I think that's the problem with this is that
depending on how much soccer you're going to go forward
and watch, Like if you're just going on like if
you know on Univision or different places, you've probably been
at restaurants where there's Mexican League soccer on.

Speaker 1 (43:30):
It don't look like this. This is the best of
the best.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
To Ben's point, like these are uber badasses and it
happens once every four years, and so there's just a
pride and there's so much that goes into it that
you're seeing unbelievable soccer.

Speaker 5 (43:46):
I think I like to think of it as like
the Olympics. Basically, it's just the world of never four
years an Now I'm looking forward to the Women's World
Cup next year because I support women.

Speaker 1 (43:57):
Our team's good, though. Are they getting in?

Speaker 3 (44:00):
I don't know, I haven't seen, but like we've won
the World Cup few times?

Speaker 5 (44:04):
Right, are you gonna support the Mexican women like you
supported the Mexican men.

Speaker 3 (44:08):
I've been supporting Mexican women my whole life. What about
Iraq and Iranian women? Do you drafted in the Haymaker draft?
Based on what I think I know about that region?
I would be very surprised if they had teams.

Speaker 5 (44:21):
Yeah, yeah, maybe probably so right? Yeah, you know how
to show their face?

Speaker 8 (44:24):
Right?

Speaker 1 (44:25):
I don't.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
I don't speaking a little out of turn, but what
I think I know about that region seems unlikely.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
When is the Women's next year? Okay?

Speaker 5 (44:34):
Did y'all watch the halftime show? I did?

Speaker 6 (44:37):
Why did Justin Bieber like ruin it for everybody? Why
would you bring it down with a slow acoustic song?

Speaker 1 (44:43):
I'll never understand? Was it Slide City?

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (44:46):
No?

Speaker 1 (44:46):
It was a new song of his.

Speaker 6 (44:48):
Song like Hallelujah song, which it was sweet, had a
good message, but I'm like, man, not right, we're trying
to pump people up right now.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
I think the song was called Acoustic Sadness.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
Yeah, okay, Madonna BTS just coming out. We got a
heaters going, and then Ted last was like, let's bring
in uh, let's bring it down a little bit. Here's
Justin Bieber. And then Shakira comes out and saves the day. Oh,
Lord of revenge. I think her ex husband played for
Team Spain, Is that right?

Speaker 3 (45:16):
Well, the fridge in a music video, Well, let me
just say that he won the World Cup.

Speaker 1 (45:21):
Well, I don't think he's on the team anymore. So
he was in the box that they kept showing.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Yeah, I definitely don't know, man, the awkward trophy presentation afterwards,
I was watching the you know, the World Cup trophy.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
I don't even know what it's called.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
That they're Larry O'Brien and it's sitting up on a
table and there was one point where they were getting
set up and it wobbled.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
I don't know if you guys saw it, and it looked like.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
The stage wasn't completely sturdy and so that it might
just fall off, and I was like, what happens if
that thing falls off? And I couldn't help but watch
President Trump as I'm like, all right, man, did anybody
was there a dry rehearsal? Was there a dry run?
Is are they just giving him in real time? Is
he supposed to be posing in this picture with them
right now? Or should he have already walked off? Or

(46:05):
he kind of wants to be in it. I couldn't
really tell what the hell was going on with any
of that, but I couldn't look away he So the
answer to the question is no, because we know that
he introduced the head of FIFA as the President of
Soccer on the President of Soccer, and there was the
moment where they both walked over there with the trophy
to hand us. Someone to remind me of Jimmy and Jerry. Yes,

(46:26):
I want my hands on it. I want my hands
on it too, my trophy. I need this moment. I'm
handing this over.

Speaker 5 (46:30):
It's man.

Speaker 1 (46:30):
Trump started punching people and ran off with the trophy.

Speaker 3 (46:33):

Speaker 1 (48:36):
And no goods?

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Time? For Sea, featuring veteran news anchor KT's on tweets.

Speaker 5 (48:44):
All right, so the cyclospora explosive diarrhea disease is still
kind of a big question mark. They had pended on
the FDA had pinned on Taylor Farms, a place that
sells like bag salads and things like that. Well today
they've backtracked from that and Taylor Farms is now in
the clear because it was a false positive test.

Speaker 3 (49:06):
Okay, so who on behalf of Taylor Farms can sue
the universe to try to get their company back?

Speaker 1 (49:12):
Seriously, Like who just.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
Ran out there and said, yeah, it's Taylor Farms and
that killed that entire business in one statement, Well in
Taco Bell kind of in the middle.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
Of doing all that.

Speaker 5 (49:20):
Taco Bells in the middle of it as well. I
am a Taylor Farms fan until this story, and now
I don't really know what to think. I've had a
lettuce in two weeks. You don't know what you've gotten
until it's gone. You haven't had a lettuce. I love lettuce. Okay, Hey,
someone lettuce, eat it by the head. Just walk in
and take a big bike like crawfish. My big question
over the weekend. I was thinking about this on Saturday
and it trickled into Sunday. Was it is weird, though,

(49:43):
Like the news is talking about this non stop, but
I haven't seen a single person do an interview about it.

Speaker 1 (49:47):
So I went and dig in and.

Speaker 5 (49:49):
I have now found the faces of explosive diarrhea. I've
got a story involving a couple of women who have
stumbled upon this disease.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Here is the news.

Speaker 8 (50:00):
Cases of a violent stomach illness are surging across the country.

Speaker 9 (50:03):
Yeah, cyclist Bryance, this is a sickness that causes severe
diarrhea to these Jasmine Franklin spoke with a former Milwaukee
woman who unfortunately called the stomach bug on her honeymoon.

Speaker 5 (50:13):
For newly wet Gretchen.

Speaker 8 (50:15):
Plus, it was just like incessant diarrhea, so like very,
just like watery and like constant.

Speaker 7 (50:22):
Her honeymoon camping trip to Yellowstone National Park has been
filled with a lot of stops to the bathroom. Days
into her vacation, the pain became so intense she had
to go to the emergency room. Doctors confirmed the cyclost
spora parasite is in her system. Plus things she caught
it from shredded lettuce in a sandwich.

Speaker 8 (50:43):
It feels like your intestines are like really tight, or
like something is like seizing them.

Speaker 5 (50:48):
The couple is staying positive.

Speaker 8 (50:50):
It's still our honeymoons.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
For Cyclosta, it's.

Speaker 8 (50:54):
Still our honeymoon. So we're making the best of it.
And I mean our vows set in sickness and in health.

Speaker 5 (50:59):
So we're just getting an early start on that.

Speaker 7 (51:01):
And she's not alone at Jackie Lebrex say she thinks
she caught cyclists from an alcoholic drink with fruit.

Speaker 5 (51:08):
And it was from a fruit fruit drink that I
had at a lovely restaurant.

Speaker 6 (51:13):
There were many of us that had the same drink,
and those people all got sick as well.

Speaker 5 (51:17):
I got a little bit more to the story. But
you can get it from fruit and a drink too,
just like that stuff that comes from the earth.

Speaker 1 (51:24):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (51:24):
Yeah, what's your produce? Probably that's dang, that's giving last
of us to me. Yeah, this could be how we
all go.

Speaker 3 (51:33):
Man, this thing. Are people dying from it? No, Because
somebody was telling me they're going, Hey, man, I hear
you can lose twenty five pounds on that.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
I'm thinking about getting it.

Speaker 5 (51:41):
Diet, just shoving a mug gullet, just a month of it,
just yeah, figured it out.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Have you guys tried that new dehydration diet. Yeah, it
does dehydrate you horribly. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
Yeah, honeymoon and camping on top of that, it's already yeah, balmum,
it's already cushed them on the camping trip, aren't Yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:01):
Dude, diary on a camping trip during a honeymoon is
really about as bad as it gets. Fourteen Now, I
wanted you to hear how this news did the way
hold on. Did the groom still try to make things happen?
I think so, man, think you had to. And the
bison came up and just threw him in the air
like that old man. Okay, So the last ten second
of the story, something caught my attention from this news

(52:23):
field reporter and this story.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
I wanted you guys to.

Speaker 5 (52:25):
Hear it because they just talked to two women, right,
two women, Both.

Speaker 7 (52:30):
Women are getting rid of the paras site with prescribed antibiotics.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Couldn't handle it.

Speaker 3 (52:36):
I s read the teleprompter, but hey, Ben was gonna
ask you what they looked like. I didn't watch edgerold
audio Watty when you imagine them what they look like.

Speaker 5 (52:47):
Not good. I'ment for camping and are you talking about
both women?

Speaker 7 (52:50):
Both women are getting rid of the paras site with
prescribed antibiotics. Reporting in Milwaukee. I'm Jasmin of Franklin, wis
in twelve news.

Speaker 1 (52:59):
Cancel that was good? Did y'all hear what he did?

Speaker 4 (53:02):
Want?

Speaker 1 (53:03):
I thought he was good earlier.

Speaker 5 (53:05):
If you have had cyclospora, feel free to send me
an email. We'll get you on the show. Kevin Turner
at iHeartMedia dot com.

Speaker 1 (53:11):
Thank you, Kevin.

Speaker 3 (53:12):
Let's go from diarrhea to food News America's five fastest
growing restaurants, next on the eagle before we get there.
Thank you to our friends at Parishroofing. Call two one
four two two seven eight four eight eight or go
to Parish Roofingsolutions dot com to find out more information. Look,
there's no licensing for roofers in the state of Texas.
Don't trust the guys going door to door in your neighborhood.
Most of them don't even have real companies. If they have,

(53:34):
some poor sucker lets him up on the roof. They're like, yep,
you need a new roof. Whether you do or not,
and then they'll go hire subcontractors to do the work.
To do the work, that's not even a real company.
So trust our guy Randy Parish Parish Roofing. If you
have water seeping into your home, it could lead to
a major financial catastrophe. Just make sure that wind and
heavy rains and hail that we get here in df

(53:55):
Doba hasn't misplaced shingles. Call Parashroofing today, call him right
now two one four to two seven eight four eight
eight Yes, and you are gonna love working with our
good friend Randy Parrish. Awesome dude, great company. He's gonna
guide you every step of the way. Uh roofs, they're expensive.
The insurance companies are impossible to deal with. Randy knows
all this and he's gonna help you and make sure

(54:16):
it's as painless as possible. He can help you sometimes
lower the out of pocket obligations and he always does
it the right way, compliant and legal.

Speaker 1 (54:23):
All of that.

Speaker 3 (54:24):
He can help you with financing if you need that.
And it's not just the roof, like your your windows
get damaged, the fence, all that, he can help you with,
all of it. He does it all. He's a great dude.
He's a friend of ours. He is the right guy.
So if you haven't had your roof checked in a while,
probably best to get it checked out again. He's not
gonna sell you something you don't need. It's our friend
Randy Parrish at two one four two two seven eight

(54:46):
four eight eight or online at Parish roofingsolutions dot com.
All right, coming up here in about ten minutes, Katie
and I are going to talk a little bit about
a movie we saw this weekend called The Odyssey.

Speaker 1 (54:57):
Now, we're not gonna spoil it.

Speaker 3 (54:59):
We know a lot of people still I haven't seen it,
including Skin and Christina, so we won't spoil it for
them or for you. But we'll have a fun conversation
about this flick. We'll do that in ten minutes. But
right now it's time for.

Speaker 5 (55:09):
This time.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
And the Food News. I stumbled upon an article. We're
not gonna do family feud with this like we do sometimes.
It's fine. We might have a couple of notes on this.

Speaker 5 (55:27):
Uh, the fastest growing restaurants in America. All right, now,
this is based on just adding stores, so some of
the stories you see now now there's forty two less
Wendy's right or whatever.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
You know.

Speaker 5 (55:43):
So I have the top five and I just thought
we might have a little conversation number five, maybe a
little sounder for it. Number five dunkin Donuts? Is that
that song you hit by Los Loneley Boys? Okay, dunkin
Donuts got lucky in my opinion because they make all
their money off coffee now, so they got lucky in

(56:04):
the coffee craze that happened with Starbucks to transition from
being purely a donut place. They always had coffee, but
they switched their path to be to focus more on drinks,
and that really saved them.

Speaker 1 (56:15):
It was smart.

Speaker 3 (56:16):
And a lot of people love their coffee, you know,
I doesn't. I don't go there and go, wow, this
coffee is incredible, but you hear that. And I don't
know if it's just a nostalgia brand or the tie
back to that, but it is pretty remarkable that they've
been able to cash in on that because Krispy Kreme
has it well.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
Also, nobody goes to Krispy Kreme for coffee, no but box.

Speaker 3 (56:36):
But also it's just we just don't know. Northeastern people
are all about Dunkin Donuts coffee for sure.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
They always have been.

Speaker 3 (56:42):
I didn't know this until I met my wife's dad,
and that's that's like a Northeastern thing, and so, you know,
to Men's point is like, as Starbucks became this big thing,
then Dunkin Donuts all lane to go out there and
be that.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
But up north that's always been a big deal. In
Tim Horton's.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
Horton's, I think that's a Canadian company.

Speaker 5 (57:00):
I thought Dunky Donuts get big in the country because
they're the dirt roads and pickups and duncan knon.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
Who's such a good song?

Speaker 5 (57:09):
Okay? Number four Jersey Mikes, Yes, all right, he's excited
about this.

Speaker 6 (57:15):
Well, I just I think I just saw an email
about them going public like trading wise, Yeah, which is weird,
I'm Mikes.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
I also like their slogan will actually get your order right?

Speaker 4 (57:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (57:30):
Is that the their order is a sub above? I don't.

Speaker 3 (57:34):
I just don't see a huge difference between most of
those places.

Speaker 1 (57:38):
Jersey mix is, when's the last time you went? I
don't even know.

Speaker 5 (57:42):
Okay, let us take you there, right, Let's.

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Go right now.

Speaker 6 (57:47):
After Mike got his appendict removed, that was the first
place we stopped at It's delicious.

Speaker 5 (57:52):
Really good.

Speaker 3 (57:53):
He wanted to go to a restaurant with his name
in it. Yeah, what's the other one that has the turkey? Tom,
Jimmy Jimmy Johnson. Yeah, I think I like Jimmy John's more,
but I don't. I don't really know the difference or
firehouse subs, Like, how are they all the main? The
main firehouse subs is badass, dude. The main thing difference
wise to me immediately with Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's

(58:13):
is the bread difference, and then Mike's way, which is
going in on the oil and vinegar and all that style.

Speaker 5 (58:18):
Number three okay, seven Brew, seven brew.

Speaker 1 (58:28):
Actually there's just one right near my house. Now, explain.

Speaker 5 (58:31):
It's coffee places, drive through coffee places. I don't really
go to there very often.

Speaker 1 (58:36):
I don't go to there very often. Why did you
put the two thirty rock joke? I sometimes go to there.
I love the sitcom jokes. Five is I have a feeling?

Speaker 5 (58:50):
What are we on?

Speaker 1 (58:50):
Number three? There's a lot of seven brew. I've never
seen one.

Speaker 5 (58:56):
They've got a bad color scheme Texas and Aggie's color scheme. Now,
so they got a maroon color scheme, which I think
is a little confusing.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
He just pissed off half the METROPLEAXA.

Speaker 3 (59:06):
Yeah, not they know.

Speaker 1 (59:08):
They have bad colors. This is seven B is their logo.
Skin was a yell leader there he started the bonfire.
This is not gay.

Speaker 5 (59:20):
Number two Chipotle, Yeah, fantastic, also with an Aggie's color scheme.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
I don't know why, but when I think of the
explosive diarrhea stuff, I do think of like Taco Bell
And for whatever reason, I attached to Chipotle that it's
somehow healthy and the real deal, and it's whatever marketing
they've done has worked on me because I mean, obviously
it's nicer than fast food, but how much nicer Chipotle
makes me go to the bathroom halfway through the meal.

(59:45):
It's it just goes inside my stomach and doesn't dance.

Speaker 5 (59:50):
They definitely got caught up in a lot of lawsuits
back day for like food safety stuff. I don't totally
know you hear you hear food born illnesses things like that.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
My kids and all their friends they'll worship at the
altar of Chippotlan and I was explaining to them, I
don't know if you guys remember this, uh public marketing gaff.
But remember when they introduced KSO and it was universally
panned as the worst caso ever. Oh yeah, and then
they and now they fixed it and it's pretty good.

Speaker 5 (01:00:21):
Pretty good, I think you ever know, so you see
what the audience wants. That's why I'm keeping this mow
Sloane voice thing going number one.

Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
And he guesses touch Bros. Nope, the cosmics thing, cosmics,
I think.

Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
They're I'm thinking of buying the one at the end
of my street.

Speaker 1 (01:00:41):
Oh, Carls Jr. Carls or Wingstop Stores? Not a fan? Yeah,
why did.

Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
You got a wing stuff when you could just go
to Pluckers. That's what I always say, is that the
one that Troy pitches. Yeah, used to be the voice
of wing Stop you did? Yeah, that's funny. Really Yeah,
I was.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
The for just new locations in North Texas. That's amazing,
not the voice but the voiceover. So Troy is like
Wingstop has landing in Lufkin. I had to do all
these this stuff all. Yeah, terrible vowork though, thank you.
Coming up next, let's review one of the most important
films ever made, The Odyssey. We'll talk about it without

let's talk about Rollertown Beer Works. They're the sponsor of
this segment, and Ben and I are partners in that
brewery right there on Main Street and Frisco. They had
an incredible run bringing you all of the soccer matches.
It was so much fun. Yesterday was so fun. I
had a blast. And so now we turn our attention
to summer concerts and great food because Ben, not only

(01:02:56):
do we have fresh local beer, we have some incredible
food options there as well. Well, yeah, Mueller Wago, you
know some of the best burgers ever, Like it's a
Wagoo burger, one best burger in Frisco. Sane reviewed that
came out and said is one of the best he's
ever had. I mean it is just spectacular. And then
chicken and curry has been blown up.

Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
I love it. People are talking about that. Some of the.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
Food's great, But big thanks everyone who comes and sees us.
It's the place to watch football. If you're gonna watch
college football, or pro football, that's the place to go.
In addition to which, thank you to everyone who when
they see us on tap, you order us, put us
in your glass, and when you see us at the store,
you know you put us in your cart. And thanks
to all the bars, restaurants and stadiums who carry us.
A local sports broadcaster sent me a Texas weekend with

(01:03:39):
a picture of the big German he was drinking out
there in Louis So I was like, that is damn cool,
But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 5 (01:03:46):
I kill that. Wait till you see the size of it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:53):
Yeah, well it is a big movie.

Speaker 5 (01:03:55):
If it's really the big story in the entertainment world
is the Odyssey? Highly anticipated finally got released over the weekend.
Ben and I saw it Christina skin though no Luck.

Speaker 6 (01:04:09):
Still have not seen it because we want to see
it on the boogost Yeah in October.

Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
Yeah, I'm gonna wait and see it on Imax when
it when I can actually get in. And you said
earlier in the show that they're booked out for a month,
so be it. Although they may be opening again. I
think I told you guys. My friend's son is going
at two thirty am on a Thursday.

Speaker 5 (01:04:29):
Yeah, if you want to go at a bad time,
you can probably sneak in and get a bad seat.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
All those Yeah, man, my son got on this immediately.
If you if we walked into that empty theater, we
would have sat in the exact same seats.

Speaker 1 (01:04:41):
We're in the middle midway. Was awesome, lucky bas beardful.
That's so good. I will say, like personalities are different.

Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
For me, I would rather see it on opening weekend
before I hear too much about it, yeah, than see
it in the high quall. I'd love to see in
the high quality, trust me. But I saw it in
a normal theater and it was great.

Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
You could go to Nick and Sam's and have an
incredible steak, or you could just go to McDonald's and
get it in a McMuffin.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Skin's talking about it, Oh my god, shows that.

Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
I like to make it on my own.

Speaker 3 (01:05:14):
Hold on, let me just say though, I don't want
my love for the steak egg McMuffin to overshadow the steak,
egg and cheese bagel that you can also.

Speaker 1 (01:05:22):
Get at McDonald's. Their bagels are pretty dope. McDonald's.

Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
I understand what you're saying, Katie, I think that makes
a lot of sense, except this is a classic literary adaptation.

Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
It's not like this is hey.

Speaker 3 (01:05:34):
Man, they're going to give away the big secrets, like
we've spent around for centuries.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Bro go ahead and tell you. I didn't know all that.

Speaker 5 (01:05:40):
And I feel like I'm on top of a lot
of things when it comes to this type of stuff. Yeah,
you had no f and clue thought Matt Damon was
going on a journey. I had no idea what I
was getting into. And I know literally nothing about Greek mythology.
Never happened, never taught to me in school.

Speaker 1 (01:05:57):
I knew nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
I once faked my way through having to know about it.
But I don't remember any of it.

Speaker 5 (01:06:02):
And it was a history class we took, so I
learned about this.

Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
We did world history in our school district in sixth grade,
and that's when they taught us the Roman Empire, the
Egypt like, that's when we first learned about King tut
in Egypt, Mesopotamia.

Speaker 1 (01:06:18):
That was world history was sixth grade. And what go ahead?

Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
No, go ahead and finish.

Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
I didn't, no, no, no, I was just go ahead.

Speaker 6 (01:06:24):
Well, we watched Hercules by Disney. That's how we learned
about Greek mythology.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
I never saw that one either.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
But also as a kid, I was weigh into dungeons
and dragons, so I read about mythology and then I
mean I knew Norse mythology.

Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Did you guys take Texas history in school?

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Yes, hottest teacher I ever had. Oh really, Miss Bernard
shout out. Let's get her up here, bro, you had
a fastball deep into her career. She loved the lone
Star State. Yeah, she loved the Lost Star State. What's
not the love about her? She still has it?

Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
Dog, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:06:54):
You told me you're on Facebook just talking her. I
was just talking about David Lee Roth earlier. It's probably similar.
It's really rolling to assume.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
But he's saying hot for teacher, that's right, that's right.
Would you say thirties discuss the forties? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
So yeah, So I took that in seventh grade and
I think she was twenty six.

Speaker 1 (01:07:15):
Perfect perfect age huh so perfect age four? About history?
What are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (01:07:23):
Because she's mature enough to have an understanding of the history,
but also young enough to make it memorable for the kids.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
If you were gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:07:30):
If you were her at the end of the journey
and you're like, what year were you absolutely at your prime?

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
She'd go twenty six.

Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:07:36):
I always assumed perfect age was way older than that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
My perfect age is different. My perfect age probably forty three.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Yeah, that's evolved over Tom when you're twelve, When you're twelve,
twenty six is the sweet spot? Yeah, Christina, what's your
sweet spot?

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (01:07:53):
What man's fifty years old?

Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
I couldn't remember everything about I do remember the Trojan
Horse obviously, and that's the big marketing item for it.
And I remember Helen of Troy, and I remember some
of the things that were in there, But for it
was wild, like there's things in this that are in
the literature, right with the one eyed dude, what's the
cyclobs there' that's crazy, the giant the giant knights and

(01:08:23):
stuff like, and there's some things that happen that it's
weird to see in a movie with a badass producer
and director and you know, these incredible actors. It seems
like something that would be in more of a I
don't know, sci fi thing about dungeons and dragons.

Speaker 5 (01:08:41):
It's very ok so all these stories.

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
I think.

Speaker 5 (01:08:45):
I'm very interested to see what people who like have
a pretty good knowledge of all these events, what they're
gonna think about this movie. For me, watching this movie
and all these stories are brand new because no one
ever taught them to me.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
And he and my wife was like, how did you
not learn this in school?

Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
They probably thought it was.

Speaker 5 (01:09:02):
Conflicting, so like they probably just didn't. It just was
not a hundred years before Jesus doesn't matter. Eight hundred
years it would.

Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Have been taught to us.

Speaker 5 (01:09:12):
I knew nothing outside of hearing these names and like
Jeopardy clues, I knew nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:09:17):
You didn't know about the Trojan horse. No, you've never
heard that story. I say that every three days. Never
never something I didn't know. They all hung out in
a horse.

Speaker 3 (01:09:26):
Hate thought it was a condom thing. I know everybody
was putting on a giant horse condom.

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
I knew nothing.

Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
Actually, jealous of you, This would be great to all
just learn for the first time.

Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
You're like, you're like freaking Encino man and dude, horses
don't like condoms.

Speaker 1 (01:09:42):
Doesn't feel good. I just don't feel as good.

Speaker 6 (01:09:46):
Christina, do they have sirens in the film or sirens
involved at all?

Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
Syrons?

Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
Where siren is? You know it's the Mermaid, But did
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:09:56):
What it was before?

Speaker 3 (01:09:59):
So when in the Race on the Weather in your
favorite radio Head song, when Tom sings a siren singing
you to shipwreck, you didn't know.

Speaker 4 (01:10:09):
What?

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Did you?

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
What facial expression did you have during that lyric?

Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
Honestly, it's the guy. It's the cover of the Bins album.
What song is that?

Speaker 5 (01:10:27):
They're there?

Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Not the lyrics guy lyrics. It's a genius lyric. He
just wants to dance. Yes, okay, So did you like it?

Speaker 4 (01:10:37):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:10:37):
I love it?

Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
I loved it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
I can't wait to see it.

Speaker 3 (01:10:41):
I can't know And and this was why kt, this
is why I'm willing to wait a month to see it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
I want to see it the right way, you.

Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
Know what, I'll say this to And I saw it,
I immediately wanted to go take a junior college course
on it and learn everything I could about it. I
haven't had time to go listen to podcasts and read
about it and study it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
And I want to go watch it several more times.

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
You know what, I think it's going to make you
want to receive the great Harry Hamlin movie Clash of
the Titans from nineteen eighty one.

Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Watch that a billion times, man.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
For whatever reason we had that, that's one of the
that's one of the videos that we had that we
shouldn't have had. And we had it for like three
years and the late fees were like fourteen thousand dollars.
We had that VHS tape. But I should to watch it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
All the time.

Speaker 3 (01:11:20):
I very much distinctly remember telling the lady across the
street where our family friends, We're gonna go see Clash
of Titans. It was PG, but it did have boobies
in it, and I remember telling her, Oh, my parents.

Speaker 5 (01:11:30):
Let me see the stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
It's okay, it's all good. It's all good. Show me yours, lady.
That's why you're telling it, and that's me see those
up top.

Speaker 5 (01:11:39):
Can I say this that when I'm going to a
two hour and fifty minute movie at nine to forty
five PM. Yeah, I don't appreciate at all. In Amazon
and a TikTok commercial in the preview interspersed between previews
of movies, is I don't need to know?

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Is anybody?

Speaker 3 (01:11:55):
I was not aware of this until I saw this
preview on Friday night. I'm sorry, I'm a joy or
Saturday night. What is happening with the Brad Pitt Dog movie?

Speaker 1 (01:12:05):
Dude?

Speaker 5 (01:12:05):
That looks great. I can't wait to see you. Actually,
the full trailer looked pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:12:09):
I saw the full trailer. Was the entire movie.

Speaker 3 (01:12:12):
The show they show the entire movie, showed the whole movie.

Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
They showed the whole movie. I don't know, I see
it now, but I love the trailer.

Speaker 5 (01:12:18):
It was like, okay, man, the question is, what's why
is Jessica Chastain having to do this now?

Speaker 1 (01:12:25):
Dude? That movie looks scary as hell? Crap out of me?

Speaker 5 (01:12:28):
What was it?

Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
Other mom?

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Other mommy, I didn't see. There's a kid and you
can't tell they're hallucinating. But another mom shows up all
the time and it's a nice dead.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
And scary two mills.

Speaker 3 (01:12:41):
But I thought, man, it was so freaking good. And
with regard to showing ads in there, movie, theaters are dying.

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
So I don't. I doesn't. I didn't bother me. I
get what you're saying. It's late at night.

Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
I have a lot of money, so I'm gonna I'm
gonna go home, and I'm gonna book my even if
it's a month out. I'm gonna book my stay for
an iMac to go ahead and see this movie.

Speaker 1 (01:13:01):
I can't wait. Man. All right, good job, guys. Did
you like what he did? Christine?

Speaker 5 (01:13:06):
I did.

Speaker 1 (01:13:06):
I loved it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
I'll never forget the time Kat, we are we are
we not going to address the rumor at all?

Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
Do we? Just in the show?

Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
We can't We're getting sued, Ben, we can't address the room. Okay,
I'll never forget the time that Kat looked Helen of
Troy dead in her eye after popping out of a
Trojan horse and.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
Said, you know, pelicans have a throat pouch.

Speaker 3 (01:13:26):
Christina, you gonna stick around, play some music. I had
a girl hang with the homegirl. Next on the Eagle.

Speaker 1 (01:13:32):
There you going, You're I'm gonna get my sock back, dude.

Speaker 5 (01:13:36):
God bless guys.

Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
Good luck in Frisco.

Speaker 5 (01:13:38):
All right, enough fun in games.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I love the radioh
