It's the world famous Ben and Skin Show on a Thursday,
Ben Rogers, Jeff Wade, Kevin k t, Tearedown Turner and
Christina Carey a little baby cornbread Ray. So school is
right around the corner. I think back to school in
DFW is the week of August the tenth.
Speaker 7 (01:17):
I saw that twenty d ISD schools, because there's a
million of them started this week.
Speaker 8 (01:22):
Yeah, a lot of my teacher friends had to start
this week. They're not happy about it.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Well, at least the weather's nice.
Speaker 9 (01:27):
You know.
Speaker 6 (01:28):
Yeah, yeah it's brutal outside, but we are School is
right around the corner. I have a hard time explaining
to my kids, who spent a lot of time looking
at TikTok watching videos that explain that school's not necessary.
I have a hard time explaining to them that it
is necessary. Yeah, And then it comes down to, you know,
your kids go, well, you know what, how often do
(01:50):
you use the stuff you learned in school?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
And I was like, well, I never went to school,
so I don't. I don't really know.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
I was a no show, but I was really good
at cheating. But you know, it's like I never use
the Pythagorean theorem. I don't really You know, you don't
have to be great at math necessarily because you have
a calculator. You don't necessarily have to be great at
English because you can find all sorts of ways to
edit content using technology and whatnot. So what is the
(02:20):
thing that you get the most out of school? It
trains you to think and problem solve. Like that's the
thing about math. You're never going to use the Pythagorean
theorem in a practical application, but learning it and understanding
how it works will help you solve other problems.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
It's like it's the.
Speaker 6 (02:37):
Same thing of you know, Ben, you and I do
a lot of weightlifting. Yes, And the reason that we
finally train, finally tuned train our bodies to handle rigorous
activity is not because we're going to encounter weights out
in the world. We're going to be involved in feats
of strength, lifting trucks, things like that. So you lift
weights to train your body, same way you train your
(02:59):
your mind by doing math to solve problems out there
in the world.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I think it's good for socializing as well.
Speaker 8 (03:05):
Okay, so because you you meet all kinds of people
with all different I don't know about different backgrounds, but
they're different than you, different personalities, and you learn how
to work with those people.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
So I think that's really important, right Yeah.
Speaker 7 (03:17):
I think for me it's really just about going through
puberty and having something to look at.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
That's good man, some hot ass as a kid.
Speaker 7 (03:25):
Okay, So, I mean where else could you just pop
a random boner in seventh grade science?
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I mean you do it on the couch.
Speaker 7 (03:35):
Well, I understand, mister Spurlock's just talking about a beaker
right now.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
I don't think This song is gonna help much with
regard to me trying to help my kids understand the
importance of school. This is by an artist named Suci Buci,
and it's a funny song about school and.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
Skull school school.
Speaker 7 (03:57):
Let's put every thirteen year old under one roof and
make a bunch of tyler heroes reads sun Zoo.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Place him in a prison style lunch room. Place betson who's.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
Getting a punch home, Put a helmet on him, give
him monkey cushion and give him hamlet and him and
a good discussion and rapper Amanda random le.
Speaker 10 (04:18):
Because cushion rigid post that pass rush and pass rushing.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
They really had us cutting enough frogs? Was that just
a test of sushow psychopaths?
Speaker 10 (04:31):
Raise your hand if this turns you on, okay, an
please step out of class.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
We got school?
Speaker 5 (04:39):
What school?
Speaker 1 (04:39):
The Almo school?
Speaker 6 (04:43):
What the school horn?
Speaker 1 (04:45):
What the school for school?
Speaker 11 (04:48):
Milk?
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Okay, who's gonna put line?
Speaker 7 (04:53):
Because honestly, I'm not a fighter, but I would it
did help me, like to see my career path. I
would get to the top of the big toy that
was the name, and at the you know, at the playground,
go to the top of it, and I would announce
the fight like it was celebrity deathmatch, like I knew
I was what my career was going.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
This way, you needed the action, but not to be
in the action. You needed to observe and broadcast. The
people were watching me call the fight, I don't think
they were.
Speaker 8 (05:20):
Did you just announce who was fighting who? Or did
you actually do play by play?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Play by play?
Speaker 6 (05:24):
But in your mind people turn their back to the
fight and face to you to hear it from you.
I was supposed to watch it themselves.
Speaker 7 (05:30):
And I tricked myself into believing that that's a part
of discovering my inner self.
Speaker 6 (05:34):
That's a very young Bob Costas sort of idea. Do
you guys remember, though, the anticipation and excitement when you
were thirteen years old and it was like nine thirty
in the morning and it was getting around school that
two guys were gonna fight later.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Oh, beautiful, dude, nothing like it.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
There's a really great movie from mineing Ben's youth called
three o'clock Eye about this guy getting in a fight
with a new bully and it's it's really really entertaining.
Speaker 12 (05:59):
Man.
Speaker 7 (06:00):
We had girls who would fight. Oh that was often
actually the headliner thick country gows. I wouldn't call any
thirteen year old girl a thick country gown.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
You would when you were thirteen.
Speaker 8 (06:11):
Yeah, and they did fight over guys every time. Oh
it was always over some dude that talked to so
and so behind her back.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Okay, Christina, have you ever been in a fight?
Speaker 7 (06:22):
No?
Speaker 1 (06:23):
No, not even closed. No, that's an invitation from him.
I don't want to be in a fight, bend No,
why would I? That fighting is stupid. Would you know
how to hold your own I think I would. I
would duck and I can run pretty fast. I need to.
Speaker 7 (06:39):
People don't realize, like you've never been in a fight before.
Just like a shark, what do you do? You just
go with their eyes and gouge their eyes out.
Speaker 6 (06:46):
You got to gouge somebody's eyes out, gouge in the
eye out, or try to break the top of their nose.
Speaker 7 (06:49):
But if you can get there before they get to
you like that, that's the plan. Just like if you
were in the ocean and a sharp is attacking you and.
Speaker 6 (06:57):
You you probably the other side of that is you
don't want to get into the fight because you don't
want your eyes gouged out. But I would say that
eyepatches are pretty cool. Oh yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Cataracts is in now because of the ipatch. Just throw
on an ee patch one night when you go out.
It just adds an element of intrigue to the whole
evening that I think you'll enjoy. I recently saw a
lawyer with an eyepatch, and I have questions.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
Yeah, you guys, it's a bad ass lawyer. I was
thinking the judge is gonna have questions. It's one hand
way bigger than the other.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (07:27):
The number one reason not to fight is to not
end up looking out of shape on Dallas Texas team.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
Yeah, the fat old guys by the pool that are
fighting and falling down that lose my mind forever.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
All right, Coming up next again, where you gonna take
us in things?
Speaker 6 (07:40):

let's see Chalk Tau Casino Resort in Rant, Oklahoma.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
All right, now it's time for.
Speaker 9 (09:28):
This track, another edition of things Skin is Tracking.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
All right, Ben, We've talked about this with you quite
a bit. Things that are fears that you have, and
some of them could be classified as irrational.
Speaker 1 (09:44):
I don't think so.
Speaker 6 (09:47):
I think well then maybe not. Here's an irrational fear
I have based on odds. But I do think about it.
I am very guilty of buying a lottery ticket and
never looking at it. I mean, it happens all the time.
It's such an impulse purchase for me. At the register. Yeah,
I'll take a quick pick. You have to have cash
(10:07):
to do that, so you're paying with cash.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
You can also do.
Speaker 7 (10:09):
Debit card not anymore, yeah, they change that, Yeah, but
I usually do have cash. I can never known that
about you, though. That's crazy. What did I just a
Why why just buy it without checking it? It's it's
not an intentional thing. It's just I don't I'm not
waiting around. And then when you look and you've got
a stack of ten you have to convince your son
(10:32):
to go check them for you because you don't want
to take the time.
Speaker 13 (10:34):
To do it.
Speaker 6 (10:34):
But it could be absigned wildly late, so you're basically
maybe even after it's too late finding out. Then what
we are now tapping into is one of my biggest fears,
winning the lottery and not knowing it. Yes, well, because
there is a story where there is a one million
dollar pick right now in Austin and there's only a
few days left, so that means it's been six so
(10:56):
it's six month is that window you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
It's a six month window. So someone's six month.
Speaker 6 (11:01):
Window from their February third or whenever this thing was
is about to expire. And if they haven't claimed it now,
they probably don't know that they have it, can you imagine?
And so to Ben's point, I have had tickets that
were like nine and ten months old and I couldn't
bear to check them because I couldn't bear living with that.
You beat those astronomical odds and just didn't follow up, right.
Speaker 8 (11:26):
Like even if it was like two hundred and fifty grand,
you know, because that may not make headlines like, hey,
someone out there as two hundred and fifty grand that
you need to check your lottery Yeah, your lottery ticket.
Speaker 6 (11:36):
I'd be devastated if I missed out on two hundred
and fifty grand because I bought a ticket and didn't
check it.
Speaker 8 (11:40):
You know, if you get the app, you can just
scan the code. It's real quick and it'll tell you.
It will tell you if you're.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
A winner or not. Dude, I need to get that
app because Troy does the same thing. Well, he doesn't
ever check.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
He doesn't check, so they'll they'll just be lying around
the house. I'm like, you know what, I'll check.
Speaker 10 (11:54):
It for you.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
I don't understand the methodology. I would have to check
if no, it killed me.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
I mean, I guess, yeah, that's that's the way you're wired.
I mean for me, It's like when I'm buying it,
I'm like, man, what a stupid purchase. But I have
to do it right because what if?
Speaker 1 (12:07):
What if? Yeah, but it's not good enough. What if
to where you need to monitor it right because the odds?
But okay, here you have to what if? But the odds.
Speaker 6 (12:16):
You're sitting there at the counter and you have the
opportunity to buy a lottery ticket that you'll never check
or donate to helping kids who are like struggling. Yeah,
those kids too, and you don't help the kids, but
you do gamble and then never.
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Check on it.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
It's all about the process, then it's not we're not
I'm not a results guy. I'm a process.
Speaker 7 (12:35):
To be fair, the sick kids can never make him
a millionaire. Uh hey, dude, you could be wrong on that.
I've got some ideas. I need to workshop them with
some people, but I want to do it in a
safe space. So underneath the story is a comment that
I really just think we need to examine because this
was like WFAA posted this and then there's all these
(12:56):
Facebook comments underneath it. David Harnoi said, you could be
surprised how many scratch off tickets I find on the
ground that are winners.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
I just scan it on my phone. App Okay, oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:09):
Yeah, okay, no, but I think you guys are letting
the last sentence bury the first sentence. This man claims
that he has on multiple occasions found winners laying on
the ground that are unscratched. He's found that multiple times
in his life on the ground, He's found scratch off
winners that are just laying around.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
David harden to walk. Yeah, if he works somewhere, Like
what is he just a random guy they interviewed, No,
he's on Facebook. That's his first post under Facebook.
Speaker 7 (13:39):
What they didn't mention that article though, is that he's
often walking around with the metal detector, so he's just
kind of exploring.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, no, no, this is his exact words.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
You would be surprised how many scratch off tickets I
find on the ground that are winners.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
That man, that man went and type that out and
put it on a Facebook post.
Speaker 8 (13:58):
I will say, I've seen ian never unscratched, but I've
seen scratched tickets lying around and I just assume that
they're losers and I don't check it.
Speaker 7 (14:07):
David Harnwall picks them up in their winners and scansm
multiple talking them. You would be surprised how often that
happens happened once? I think it happened once.
Speaker 6 (14:15):
I don't think it's ever happened okay, but if it
did happen once, that would be a surprise.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
Yeah, I happened once, So he's dollars. But he did
say okay, hold on, no been stumbled onto something. But
I want to be real specific because he's talking about
how many scratch off tickets. Would you be surprised by
it happening once? That's the inference.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
We don't know. We don't know because we don't really
know David, but we know that he had.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
The most relevant comment under WFAA's story about the time ticking.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Anyways, that's just a little lottery.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
Yeah, that's a reasonable fear. It's a reasonable irrational fear,
all right. Coming up next the entertainment headlines, a country
music singer was shot a long time ago by a
family member. Here are the details. Next time, all right,
come up at ten minutes. It's Christina's cookie Jarre to
take us Kre.
Speaker 8 (15:01):
I found out about the origin of a song and
it will surprise you guys.
Speaker 6 (15:04):
Okay, intriguing trending. Get Ben coming up at four o'clock.
We will get back into some funny pranks. But right
now it's time for this in.
Speaker 7 (15:16):
Life. Trace Atkins was a country music singer who was
famous from the mid nineties through i'd say twenty ten.
His big crossover hit was his honky Tonk but Donk
and Donkey. Guys, Oh, I know that song, so I
don't know what. He went on to THEO Von podcast
and told the story about the time his wife shot him.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
I heard that one of your wives that they shot you.
Is that true?
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Yeah, it took it a little far. I thought that
was uncalled for.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
That's a true story.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Let's just call it quit. We don't have to go
that far.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Do you think she shot you with the intensity?
Speaker 11 (15:54):
I don't think so, man. I don't think she even
had any idea of what that gun was going to.
I'd never seen her hold a gun. I never seen
her shoot a gun. I knew she had one, but
I'd never seen her use it. I had a bunch
of guns, still have a bunch of guns, and I
shoot them. I've never seen.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
This is such a Ben character. Trying to find Ben's
deep voice.
Speaker 6 (16:22):
This is such a Ben character. I was thinking it
sounded like Sam Elliott too, right, Yeah he got that gun.
Also for our listeners, a lot of Don Davis. Yeah,
that really Reson.
Speaker 3 (16:33):
Don't eat that.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
You know, I didn't mean it. I was just so
taken back. Please put a crazy voice. But there's more.
Speaker 11 (16:43):
I've never seen her do that, and I don't think
she knew what was about to happen when she pulled
that trigger.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
She thought it was a toy, you know. God.
Speaker 6 (16:53):
There was a middle part of that, which I think
we can use forever. I still got a bunch of guns.
I always had guns, and I shoot him. Yeah we should.
We should hold on play it again from the beginning,
because I also want you guys to hear the very
first sound he makes.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
You can use it.
Speaker 7 (17:06):
Remember the drops we have of Newton agreeing with missus Earns.
Listen to this first.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Ground And I heard that one of your wives that
they shot you? Is that true? Like that noise I
made that time?
Speaker 7 (17:21):
Just a bodily noise. You can't even it just comes out. Uh,
it's like a burp and a I don't even know
what that is. It's great, you know, there's a lot
more funny souff when we get to that.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Here we go. And was she pulling it like in
a fit of anger or was she just kind of shooting?
Speaker 14 (17:38):
Man?
Speaker 3 (17:38):
Yeah, okay, I wanted me to leave and I wouldn't
want to leave.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
So how did it hit you?
Speaker 11 (17:43):
She put it under my left arm and the bullet
came out under my right arm and went straight through
my heart in both my lungs.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
What did it feel like? Like a like a bee
biting you?
Speaker 13 (17:53):
Man?
Speaker 3 (17:53):
I think when one is that serious?
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I got bee biting you. This isn't a real peace
don't bite, This isn't a real conversation point.
Speaker 11 (18:02):
Is that serious? Your body protects you. You just going
to shock. You don't really feel anything. I just remember
getting up off the floor and then taking a few
steps and then going back down, and that's all I remember.
Speaker 7 (18:17):
Every time someone gets shot in the movie, they get up,
they walk right off the steps.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
And then fall back down. So does she go to
prison for a tempted murder?
Speaker 7 (18:24):
You know what, I'm not sure on the details of that,
but I can tell you Tray Haggins is six foot five,
huge mount of a man.
Speaker 8 (18:31):
He sounds a little he sounds like I'm surprised he's
on a wrestler at this I know, right, So this.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Still is funny to me. So hold on.
Speaker 11 (18:41):
The doctor should The only reason I survived was because
the bullet went through at point blank velocity, at muzzle velocity,
so he didn't have time to mushroom.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Thank god. She taught you so close?
Speaker 12 (18:53):
Then?
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Yeah, a couple of voice. Did she ever apologize?
Speaker 7 (18:57):
He took a big drink? He took a big drink.
You're a few of un doesn't bubble voice. That's what's
funny about him and his questions are These questions are
very funny.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
He said, did that aunt be bite.
Speaker 13 (19:07):
You to you?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Which is she's so close? Then?
Speaker 3 (19:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Did she ever apologize to you?
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Did you forgive what you think?
Speaker 3 (19:18):
I think?
Speaker 13 (19:18):
So?
Speaker 8 (19:19):
Do you know?
Speaker 11 (19:19):
I've just always felt like I don't think she meant
to do it, man, I don't think she thought it
was going to hurt me.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
She she thought I was indestructible.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
Dang, yeah, she seems smart.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
That's wow.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Man, did anything like that ever happened again or not?
Speaker 13 (19:33):
No?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
No, I never got a shot again.
Speaker 1 (19:35):
That's a blessing, man, dude. Our next, our next fake
prank show.
Speaker 7 (19:42):
Ben has got a master, Trace Adkins, and the character
could even be Trace. This might be my new media
Tracon have a bubble voice guy at the co host
Oh yeah, I'll be last one though, because it was
time for THEO and Trace. It was one of his wives, right, yeah, oh,
one of them. So let's find out the history of
Trace Atkins' wives.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
And your third wife's Canadian, right, fourth wife?
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:06):
And your fourth wives Canadian? Yeah, which is maybe you got.
Speaker 11 (20:09):
Her be So my first wife was from Louisiana, my
second wife is from Arkansas, my third wife from Illinois,
my fourth wife from Canada.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
So I'm just like, my fifth wife's going to be
an Eskimo's gonna be a hot Eskimo chick.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Yeah, you know how old is he? Sixty four? Damn
still out there getting married.
Speaker 7 (20:31):
I mean he said, I have the shooting honey, I'm
gonna get you married to me in my seventies.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
If you shoot me be at close range.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Crazy God, that's wild. Say that is so good?
Speaker 3 (20:41):
All right?
Speaker 6 (20:41):
Coming up next and Christina's Cookie Jar. Where are you
gonna take us care? This song's about what next. Before
we get there, let's talk about reliant air conditioning. It's
very important to make sure that your air conditioning system
is tuned up. We are feeling the heat. Man, it
is a scorcher in Dallas Fort Worth. You need to
get reliant air condition out there just to do a
tune up, just to make sure that you're hitting on
(21:03):
all cylinders, just to make sure there are any leaks
or problems. Think of it like changing the oil in
your car. If you do the routine maintenance, that air
conditioning system will last a lot longer, especially when it's
being taxed in these ridiculous heats. So call Reliant air
Conditioning today. Be sure to mention Ben and Skin when
you set up that tune up. Yeah, and you're gonna
love working with them great technicians. It's all about quality work,
(21:23):
making you feel comfortable with what's going on, educating you,
making sure you understand all your options, your finance options,
being transparent with the pricing. It's about all of that
over a big sale. They want you to feel comfortable
with them, and that's how they go about doing things
the way.
Speaker 13 (21:37):
That they do it.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
That's why they encourage you to get quotes from their competitors.
Who else does that? Someone who knows that they're doing
it the right way and going to take care of you.
That's who.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
And that's Reliant air Conditioning eight seven seven your hero
eight seven seven nine six eight seven four three seven
or check them out online Reliant air Conditioning dot com,
gimmick free since eighty three.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
It's Reliant air Conditioning.
Speaker 6 (22:04):
Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point one The Eagle,
Guns and Roses. Tickets are coming your way later in
the show, and don't forget tomorrow we're gonna be at
the Chalk Talk Casino and Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. Come
hang out with us from three two six. Got some
Dallas Cowboys audio to get into here in the four
o'clock hour, But first.
Speaker 9 (22:24):
Least time to pop the top rich your hands and
it's Grabba Treat from Christina's Cookie Jars.
Speaker 8 (22:43):
Christ I want to start by talking about a song
that we've heard plenty of times, especially if you just
leave it right here on the Eagle. And that is
through Glass by Stone Sour.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Oh hell yeah, it sounds like this, I'm looking at
you through the glass. I don't know how much times
I got it feed No one sells you like home
sitting now alone in Sergio. Oh how that was bad?
Because you're looking at you through the glass. It's a
(23:23):
great song.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
I already know what it's about, but I'm not gonna
say I'm gonna write it down, Okay, Yeah, you write
around your guess.
Speaker 8 (23:29):
Yeah, because honestly, when you hear it, you're like, oh,
this is really emotional, real in depth. It's a great song. Again,
it's by Stone Sour. Corey Taylor is in that band.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Actually, I have two things that it's about.
Speaker 8 (23:40):
Okay, Well, Corey Taylor finally came out and gave the
backstory to what that song is about and how he
wrote it. So, Corey Taylor is also in a band
called Slipknot. Yes, slip Nott's huge and years ago they
were on tour in Europe and when they landed, it
was some small town Gothenburg, I believe it was what
it was called. Okay, when they land he uh, He's like, man,
(24:04):
I'm really hungry. I need food now. Don't care about quality.
Let's get some fast food. So he gets some fast food.
It turns out to be a horrible mistake because it
gives them food poisoning. Oh, and he's like, man, I
was basically bedridden for two and a half days.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
It was just bed toilet, bed toilet, that's it. Have
you had food poisoning before?
Speaker 10 (24:21):
Not that bad.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
I've had it pretty bad. It's brutal. I've had it before.
I thought I died. I got it from a low
rent steak buffet, but we'll move on. I got it
during COVID. I was like, is this what COVID is?
Speaker 13 (24:33):
No?
Speaker 7 (24:33):
I think I know that around looking at it for
a COVID test when the churches were all backed up
in libraries.
Speaker 13 (24:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah, yeah, And it's really just a pooh poison for
a bad place. Two and a half days, though, that's
a long time. It is brutal.
Speaker 8 (24:47):
Almost fifteen pounds though, so while he looks fifteen pounds.
So while he's bedridden in this hotel again in Gothenburg,
the only thing on his TV is in TV Europe,
and he says the the longer I watched it the
worst and worse it got, and he decided to start
writing lyrics based on just watching what he was.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Seeing on MTV Europe. Oh that's not what I guess.
Speaker 8 (25:11):
This song is about how awful TV Europe is. I
just thought that was amazing because I would never would
have guessed that.
Speaker 1 (25:19):
Here were my two choices.
Speaker 6 (25:21):
I thought it was like the classic Ain't No Sunshine
song by Bill Withers about being in prison. Okay, uh,
you know, because your lady friend comes or your man
friend comes and you're looking at him through the glass.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Oh okay, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (25:35):
Yeah, Or I thought he was in love with an
animal that he was looking at through a zoo exhibit glass.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
That would be funny.
Speaker 7 (25:42):
It's amazing because the course of this song is it's
the star the stars that shine for you, and all
the MTV Europe stars are shining for him where his
gut is busted.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
Oh man, that's what he's That's what he's singing about.
Speaker 8 (25:58):
Christ So yeah, So I was really listed thing to
it this morning, and there's something else. He's like, I
give you an answer and it's not enough. You keep
asking me for more, And so that's all I can
think of, is this guy in his bed watching in
TV Europe. Now you know the band's kind of ruined
for me now, Stone Celler, Yeah, listen to Slipknot.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
You're just always gonna think about food poisoning.
Speaker 6 (26:17):
Now, yeah, maybe what other bands always make you think
of food poisoning?
Speaker 13 (26:23):
To text?
Speaker 1 (26:23):
The general two?
Speaker 8 (26:26):
Okay, and the next story. Do you guys want to
talk Beatles or Ozzy Osbourne?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I'm more of a Beatles guy, but I'll leave it
up to you. Let's talk about the Let's do the Beatles.
Speaker 8 (26:36):
Yeah, yeah, because you will enjoy this skin. So they've
been reissuing all of their albums. Do you know the
next one that's about to get a reissue?
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yes?
Speaker 13 (26:44):
What is it?
Speaker 14 (26:45):
I know?
Speaker 1 (26:45):
Whatever? So that's your favorite?
Speaker 12 (26:49):
Right? Well?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Rubber Sole and Revolver like one A and one B
for me.
Speaker 6 (26:52):
Okay, they're both super badass and that's like, that's the
first line of demarcation where the Beatles start going somewhere
really not that there. I want to hold your hand
and all that stuff is fine, but that's where it's like, ooh,
let's go. Yeah, they're taking drugs, so this is this
will be released October Seconds. Again it's been newly mixed
by Giles Martin.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
Uh okay, I don't know him.
Speaker 7 (27:14):
And is that uh Chris Martin or the George Martin's son. Oh,
I'm sure that's George Martin son.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
That would make sense. Yeah, probably the family.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (27:24):
But what's cool about this is it's gonna have twenty
four early session recordings, twenty previously unreleased takes wow, and
three unreleased home demos, including Day Tripper, we Can Work
It Out and a song no one has even heard
of by John Lennon called little Girl.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Oh yeah, yeah, I don't love that could be bad.
We'll have to see. That was pre Yoka, We'll have
to see. Yeah. Now this is exciting. I can't wait.
So yeah, and that's all coming out October seconds. So
great job.
Speaker 7 (27:58):
K all Right, it's the Been and Skin Show ninety
seven point one The Eagle, What's coming up next?
Speaker 1 (28:04):
And now trending and Ben coming up next?
Speaker 6 (28:07):
That menace sud Dylan is at it again, another magical
print call next on the Eagle. All Right, Cowboys season
is officially underway, and this is the home of the
best Cowboys talk you'll find anywhere in rock music right
here on the Beninskin Show.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
Isn't that fair? Does that? I think so?
Speaker 6 (28:23):
I mean in terms of sports Rock, which was a
really popular show in the nineties early nineties on ABC
Sports Rock, the audio Bubble Bass coming up, we got
new Church Fails. We have audio from the Cowboys initial
kickoff presser. But right now it's time for this.
Speaker 14 (28:39):
He's interrational, quick trigger, nuclear overreactor. He's a masterful storyteller
who consistently finds himself drowning in a sea of awkward.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
It's time for no Troundy and Ben.
Speaker 6 (28:55):
Every once in a while, I'd like to bring you
exciting examples of things that I find on my timeline.
I like to use social media, and I feel like
you guys are scared to go where I go because
you don't want to taint your algorithm or taint your taint.
So I've stumbled across a couple of things that I
really like, and one of them is Take two. You've
already heard one of these, but I want to start
with a guy that I just stumbled across. His name
(29:16):
is ZJ ZJ and he does impressions. Zj's Impressions, and
it's honestly one of the best Tony Sopranos impersonations I've
ever seen.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
And the fact that it's a kid, I call him
a kid. I want to say.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
This guy is between the age of eighteen and twenty two.
Seems like a super young guy. And he does all
the characters. So he does a scene, wow, and he's
doing different characters within that scene.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Love this Lebron decision. That's good, right, No, he picked Philly.
Speaker 10 (29:45):
Sound I told you I should have took a chunk
out of the spec House money better Lebron going to Philly.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Oh my god, Tony, do you talk about this? What's
going on? You don't know anything, Lebron. Then we're gonna
get Lebron into a million dollars Tony, what if he
went to different team? You would have lost all my
money out of pot for markets.
Speaker 10 (30:07):
Wad you whatever I want with the money I make, Tony,
you don't get to take it and start gambling it.
Every thing you have from the work that I do, Camela,
everything you make is from the blood sweating tasse off
of me. Well you can ship there and the big
ash mansion when the Jasina clothes and all the money.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
Comes from me. It's very incredible.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
He does in real time. He just does the Carmela
and then Tony, that's so good, so good. And there's
another example from him, right yeah, he kind of actually
does look like a J.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
Yes he does. Kid this AJ failed driver's ed. Do
you know how much this cost to do it again?
I promise I'm only gonna need one more? Are you sure?
Speaker 9 (30:49):
He is?
Speaker 10 (30:49):
AJ? You failed there driving toush about driving?
Speaker 1 (30:52):
You should you were fifteen. The it's not my fault.
Speaker 10 (30:54):
When my driving instructor was an idiot, he told me
I could turn right in a red light.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
It's not my fault a J.
Speaker 10 (30:59):
You can't turn right on rad Just try to pay attention,
even he looks maxing when the drivers get instructed. Now
you're gonna go and do it again. And if you fail,
well you got your license, you can blog over it.
Well you can ride the bike. You're gonna got some
nice straw ledge. Maybe I don't help what you looked, Max.
If I don't have the nicest car of all my friends,
they'll con me. They'll call me a beta.
Speaker 5 (31:19):
I don't give it.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
You fail, drivers, said AJ.
Speaker 10 (31:22):
You gotta pay me every cent to that money back
that you had to.
Speaker 13 (31:24):
Do it again. I was hit.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
My fault that I failed, I told you was the
instructor's fault. I didn't do anything wrong. I swear I passed.
That guy's isn't chud. That's time you call somebody a chud.
Speaker 10 (31:35):
I'm gonna take your shoe off it, right, get got
your mouth all right, I'm gonna take all your pep
tides away.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
No more looks nor pretty good.
Speaker 7 (31:44):
Right, It's incredible his uh when his Carmelo almost turns
into Edith Bunker a little bit like his aj and
his tony is flawless.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
So here's ah, here's a round two of this one.
Speaker 6 (31:55):
This is an influencer name Sarah Soda, and she plays
a character named Sue Dylan, and she pranks calls people,
and she is so damn good.
Speaker 12 (32:03):
Prank called somebody's reference for their job application and asked
some bizarre questions, and the lady went along with it
in the alter.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Ego of Sue, of course. And hey, is this Ashley?
Speaker 12 (32:16):
It is, honey, I need to ask you a quick
question about Anna's interview questions.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
Okay, we have some things wrote down. I was just wondering,
is she a lesbian.
Speaker 10 (32:26):
No, she's not.
Speaker 12 (32:27):
For some reason, that was a question we had and
we you know, we just only hire heterosexuals.
Speaker 1 (32:34):
Okay, absolutely not. She's married with three beautiful babies and
member of.
Speaker 13 (32:39):
The church and all of that.
Speaker 12 (32:41):
So yeah, a lesbian would never be a Christian. I'm
wondering did she deliver her kids vaginally?
Speaker 1 (32:51):
Okay?
Speaker 12 (32:52):
So nos, Sirian sections that's good to know for insurance
purposes and like as.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
I aren't people with that of hats, he said. I'm
also wondering what is her diet? Is she a vegetarian
or an omnivore? Herboo or carnivore or omnivore?
Speaker 1 (33:07):
She eats everything?
Speaker 7 (33:09):
She's not a vegetarian, good because.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
We don't like the liability of a vegetarian. Do you
think there's any extra info that I need to know? No, ma'am,
I wouldn't think.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
So.
Speaker 12 (33:18):
We're tired of hiring people that don't meet the standards
of the company, so that we're being more upfront.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Do you mind if I ask what company this is for?
Speaker 1 (33:27):
Absolutely? I work for John Deere.
Speaker 15 (33:31):
Ye, yes, okay, yeah, I don't know of anything that
would err from working there.
Speaker 12 (33:37):
Okay, does she do anything sacrilegious.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
No, what was your name again?
Speaker 5 (33:43):
My name is Sue. Okay, thank you.
Speaker 16 (33:46):
Thank you.
Speaker 13 (33:48):
So that.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Those all right? There you have it.
Speaker 6 (33:51):
There's trending in ben coming up next and around the sports.
The Cowboys had their training camp opening press conference. We've
got the best hits from that coming up next. Before
we get there, I get a Frankel and Frankel, Mark Frankel,
Scott Frankel, and Jean Burquette. Grateful for these guys, incredible
partners of ours, and they are who you need to call.
If you've been involved in a wreck that is not
your fault, call the Frankels from the scene. Never too
early to get them involved. If you have a friend,
(34:14):
a neighbor, a coworker, anyone in your life who's been
in a wreck, let them know about Frankel and Frankel
two one four, three, three, three thirty three thirty three
local guys standing by now. It costs you nothing to
call the Frankels. They only get paid if they reach
a settlement on your behalf. And that's exactly what they
did for me. They got me a nice cash settlement.
Wouldn't it great men for them to go to work
for you. You have no out of pocket expenses. I mean,
(34:34):
that's a stressful thing. It's horrible, it can be life altering.
There's a lot of things that you got overcome. That's
one of the reasons why they help you get the
medical attention you need immediately. But then they start gathering
evidence so they can get the best case put together
to get you the settlement that you deserve. And again,
none of it happens with any money coming out of
your pocket, no out of pocket expenses when you work
with Franklin Frankel. And that's why we say call the
(34:55):
Frankels first, get him on the case immediately. Two one four,
three three three th thirty three thirty three or eight
one seven and all threes for Frankel and Frankel chosen
by the people and feared by the insurance companies.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Fr NK e L call Frankel.
Speaker 6 (35:12):
First Ben Skin Show ninety seven point one the Eagle.
We got guns and roses tickets to give away. We're
gonna be at the Chalk Tawk Casino and Resort and
Drain Oklahoma tomorrow. So much good stuff going on with
the show. There's rumors out there. It's just the excitement
is building. This segment right here is brought to you
by Frankel and Frankel, longtime friends and partners of the
Benin Skin Show. No out of pocket expenses when you
(35:33):
hire the Frankeles to go get you what you deserve.
They are advocates for injury victims two one four, three
three three thirty three thirty three.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
But right now it's time for this.
Speaker 17 (35:44):
Now there is.
Speaker 18 (35:45):
Around the sports KG twins as all the sports.
Speaker 7 (35:52):
Yes, all right, the Cowboys a couple of days ago
ahead their training camp, you know, opening press conference, and
I want to pull we'll do a couple of different
segments on this today. The first thing I wanted to
ask you, guys, is does this clip from Jerry about
some of the changes they've made on the coaching staff.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Does this make you confident in this season?
Speaker 13 (36:12):
And the last time there were this many changes of
any team that I've been involved in was the first
year with Jimmy Johnson and we won one football game.
Speaker 6 (36:21):
All right, that's yeah. I think it just it just
went wherever the sentence took it. Non thing he realized
where that sentence was going to end. Jerry, you know,
there's no breaks on that car, you took a long
walk and you ended up in a dark alley and
got mugged.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
What's weird?
Speaker 7 (36:38):
Though, I would say on a scale of one to ten,
the amount of crazy things Jerry said was like a two.
Like it wasn't too much, and it was quick and
it was it was all business, and it was rarely
the case here. There's really only one thing that, you know,
everyone was talking about. I'm sure we'll get to there,
and maybe we won't.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
But the one thing I do want to say is
in seeing clips and watching it, I just keep reminding myself, Man,
that guy's eighty three, and I don't know how much
time y'all are spending around eighty year olds, but he
is functioning at.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
An extraordinary level. Yeah, yeah he is. And you know
that comment. I don't think he meant to end where
he ended. Yeah, Oh and he didn't. I cut it
down for radio like, But I.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
Do give him credit for at least not being stuck
in his ways one hundred percent. Like they have done
things differently, which has to be encouraging. You guys have
probably heard all this. They people are saying that Jerry
is just hypnotized by Christian Parker, he's.
Speaker 7 (37:33):
He talked to many times about how he's all in
on the newness. Yeah, and not doing the thing that
they've done many years. Is like, we're not going to
hire someone who hadn't coached before.
Speaker 6 (37:41):
I think I think he's under the Christian Parker spell,
which seems fun.
Speaker 7 (37:45):
So this is kind of how it started with Clearance Hill.
The reporter asked him. It says the question, we're calling
kind of a quiet offseason.
Speaker 1 (37:53):
This out one welcome back here.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
We haven't heard from the system threat. It's been a
drama pre offseason.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
That to you just talk about is that.
Speaker 13 (38:00):
Clarence I never left, so don't need to get me
welcome back. You and I just haven't been laying highs
on me job. So seriously, that's a lot I don't like.
I personally like the fact that the perception is that
it's been a quiet off season.
Speaker 7 (38:20):
Okay, so quiet off seasons kind of the thing that
or Joe Nenda what there really was not We had
a reckless driving from Donovan Azeraku.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
What else?
Speaker 3 (38:30):
I mean?
Speaker 1 (38:31):
The George Pickens thing has had the chance to be
wild and it hasn't. It has not at all. So
that's great news.
Speaker 6 (38:37):
But I thought Clarence was just saying, hey, welcome back
to Auxnard, welcome back to the season being here, and
Jerry's kind of being defensive, going, dude, I run this thing.
I didn't go anywhere. You're just not seeing I think
he was almost defensive. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was really funny.
Speaker 13 (38:50):
You know.
Speaker 6 (38:50):
One of the things this reminds me of and been
We've talked about this a lot. Jerry likes all that
drama because as everybody talking about the team, this whole
idea of Jerry leaning in on no drama reminds me
of a story a good friend of mine when a
guy went to ut with me when he stopped smoking
weed in his late twenties.
Speaker 1 (39:10):
I was like, really, you stop smoking weed?
Speaker 6 (39:12):
He goes, yeah, man, you know, you used to get
high all the time to change your perspective, and then
when you're high all the time, that becomes your perspective.
So kind of being sober is a real interesting new thing,
new way to see life. I think this is like
the same thing. You know, I stopped smoking weed and
now I'm thinking about things differently. It's really interesting.
Speaker 1 (39:28):
Yeah, that's that makes sense.
Speaker 7 (39:30):
I wanted to keep in just again, just any Stephen
laughter on the mic, welcome back.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
That's great, you know, it's just so good.
Speaker 7 (39:40):
Now, Look, Jerry did like that off season stuff quite
off sea and stuff. I thought that took Jerry aback
a little bit, honestly, because I think Jerry, that's that's
about when Jerry started stirring the pot on something that
we'll get to at five point thirty with Max Crosby.
Brian Schottenheimer did not read the room because the reporters
are like, thank god, you guys had a quiet off season.
Have to live by my laptop all summer, Like, yeah,
(40:03):
it was actually like a breather. Yeah, okay, Shody took
it literally.
Speaker 19 (40:07):
I thought it was not a quiet offseason for us,
and it was a great off season for us and
one that we worked extremely hard on starting with the
coaching search. And it has not been a quiet off season.
It's been an awesome off season, and I think that's
why we're excited.
Speaker 1 (40:22):
Dude, no one's questioning you, like, no one at all
is questioning you.
Speaker 7 (40:26):
You were the new head coach and had the rug
pulled out from under you six days before the season started.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Last year.
Speaker 6 (40:31):
It's defensive again. It's the same thing. He's just going, wait,
what do you mean You're saying we didn't do anything.
I've been working the whole time.
Speaker 7 (40:37):
Right, All the reporters I've talked to her are like, yeah,
I kind of didn't understand why they were like hung
up on that right off seas it was like a
casual thing to start the press conference, and it kind
of went thirty minutes into it.
Speaker 6 (40:49):
Sometimes coaches will do this whole I'm dictating the terms.
Like the classic is Belichick and Popovich saying they're not
going to talk about players that aren't there, that kind
of a thing.
Speaker 7 (40:58):
It's like i'mating the terms. I'm Schottenheimer, and we put
in work and we're gonna get you.
Speaker 1 (41:03):
Know, just that whole thing.
Speaker 7 (41:04):
Well, Jerry did talk about a player who wasn't there.
He was asked about it specifically, and we'll get into
that at five point thirty.
Speaker 1 (41:10):
Okay, good stuff. We're off and running.
Speaker 6 (41:11):
Cowboys season is here coming up next in the audio
bubble bath, everybody loves to listen to a good church fail.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
We got some new ones next.
Speaker 6 (41:19):
If anybody in DFW needs a new car, go see
our friends at prosper Forward. Ask for Edwin by name.
We'll talk about that more here in just a few minutes,
but right now.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
It's time for this.
Speaker 7 (41:38):
I have found a new batch of church service worship fails.
If you've never heard this before, I'll just play you
one of my favorites of all time to start us off.
Speaker 1 (41:46):
Midst of the storm. We can proclaim to it insane.
Speaker 18 (41:51):
But the even meant for evil, you turn it for
of evil good, But the even men for evil.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
I love what that means.
Speaker 7 (42:10):
But uh, I got I have a few others from online,
but also a listener sent one to me, I guess
from a church that he had gone to up in
the Light Farms area.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
Oh yeah, which is you know, small? This is why
small towns work here.
Speaker 7 (42:21):
The Baptist Church, the Methodist Church, whatever denomination, they kind
of pit themselves against each other.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
I wonder if this is hope fellowship up there.
Speaker 3 (42:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 20 (42:31):
Thank you, brothers and sisters for gathering here tonight. We
gather in celebration for the one big ben Rogers. He
thought valiantly against those who tried to oppress him, and it's.
Speaker 1 (42:45):
Taking his throne back atop the.
Speaker 20 (42:48):
Mighty Eagle, much like his battle with the light Farms giants,
saving those women from being ravaged. He too was trying
to be ravaged by those who oppress him. So as
the Altar Boy walks with the communion of the doe
(43:11):
Weater hot Dog, we will take a bite in celebration.
Now turn to chapter three in the Book of the
Green Blood, and we will recount the tale of his
victory against the evil shackle birds.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
Oh that's good. It's kind of honesty. Honestly. Yeah, must
be a new wrestler church, cowboy church, like a wrestler that.
I don't think that was hope. I don't think it either. Okay,
this guy's trying to tell a story about Carla Fay Tucker.
Speaker 21 (43:52):
About Carla Tafe. We're gonna get it back. We're gonna
get it back.
Speaker 1 (44:06):
Oh my god, Oh my gosh.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
Can anybody be saved?
Speaker 21 (44:16):
I apologize it was Faye, Carla Faye Tucker.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
That is the worst blooper I have ever had. I
just want to go, I just want to go.
Speaker 7 (44:35):
That is a religious sas sprinkler. He sprinkled a lot
of sass out there on the congregate.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
About Carla taste talker. Oh hard is that Lindsey Graham.
It's so hard. He is so hard. H I love
the music that we've always had drummer problems. I always
love this. Have you been right, my son? God'm just great.
(45:02):
Fool Gotta just my friend.
Speaker 22 (45:15):
Were some church tonight, you know Teddy No, that was
keyboard the drum play that that was the only thing
I could save that bad singing.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
That was really great. It's great, fool Gotta. It's an
incredible drum fill. Oh man, oh good, that is really good.
This is wild right here.
Speaker 7 (45:44):
She's trying to talk about summer camp. I think, and
you know in summer you gotta behave in the summer.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
So I'm just telling you.
Speaker 23 (45:50):
There's ways like you don't want to let summer grab
you by the tail and throw you around and.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
Next service will know I have that. I just don't
want you to have summer mess with you. She said,
f j oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, oh I should
just throw you around. And why why don't you say that?
Speaker 12 (46:21):
That weird?
Speaker 1 (46:22):
Why would you say that? Is what she was thinking about.
It had to be what she was thinking about. It
was oppressed. Yes, going to twirl me around, say what
I want to do? I want to all long by
the tail and threw you around. And no one makes
that mistake the first one. You're right, it was like
(46:43):
the owl.
Speaker 6 (46:44):
Oh but nobody, anybody can make the first mistake where
the accidental f bomb. The alliteration, I mean, all that weirdness,
but that is like deep seated. Also the hand motion
she was making.
Speaker 1 (46:58):
Okay, I got a ten second one. I know you
go all.
Speaker 7 (47:02):
The spirit can live in a lot of places, can
live within you. You know, the spirit can be around you.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
Board in my life. Spirit of the Living God, come
in me. Don't just come on me, come inside and
live through me. God, Come on man, do not ask
the spirit to do that razing. All right, there you
have it. There's some.
Speaker 6 (47:29):

Speaker 7 (49:16):
Tonight is the beginning of the four day MusicFest known
as Lava Palooza. Yeah, it'll be streaming out Hulu. If
you want to watch any random bands, go out there
and throw it around.
Speaker 1 (49:25):
I want to do this.
Speaker 7 (49:26):
You can only go back to two thousand and five.
I mean, a lot of the just started in nineteen
ninety one. But let's just look at the last twenty years.
So we'll go in a roundabout order.
Speaker 13 (49:34):
Here.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
One of you will pick a year.
Speaker 7 (49:36):
I will tell you the first letter of a band
that's headlining, and we'll see who can figure it out.
All right, Christina, you have the ball.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
So five through twenty five, S do twenty ten.
Speaker 7 (49:49):
Twenty ten and the year twenty ten? One of your headliners,
because there are many, one of your headliners, p.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
P the Pussycat Dolls. It's a good guess. That is
a good guess.
Speaker 7 (50:06):
Over to Skin p H Fanogram. Uh no, and I'm
getting my sounders pulled up, so don't worry about that.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
Wrong. Is pH oh Ben Phoenix showy Phoenix? Yeah, fantastic?
Speaker 7 (50:23):
All right.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Also in two thousand and five, the.
Speaker 7 (50:29):
S skin the strokes. There you go, one one Ben
the last one in two thousand and five, here s.
Speaker 1 (50:40):

Speaker 3 (50:48):

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Shine down, s O Christina soundgarden. Oh, get us all

Speaker 12 (51:04):
You hear that.
Speaker 1 (51:06):

did your wife shoot you with the arm?
Speaker 2 (51:11):
P it?
Speaker 1 (51:15):
It'll be Christina's term skin your turn to pick the year.
But that person doesn't pick their own years. That makes sense.
Speaker 7 (51:24):
Well, we've done three rounds, wouldn't it If it ends
up that way? I might do three over time.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Question it. We don't have time. I would like you
to pick the year me twenty fifteen.
Speaker 7 (51:35):
Kevin, you should show half as much interesting. You should
show half as much interest in the Epstein files as
you do questioning my game ships.
Speaker 1 (51:44):
Oh, I've already read them, Christina. Yeah, pe Paramore h
pa uh m hmm. Pandora's Box, p a U Paul Simon,

Speaker 1 (52:31):

Speaker 7 (52:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (52:32):

Speaker 1 (52:35):

Are you ready?
Speaker 13 (53:06):
What? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (53:07):
Do I get a letter? I don't understand banget a letter? First,
don't act like you don't understand. I really don't understand.
Do you understand? I'm very confused. I think Ben should
get the letter first and minute I would like to play.
Speaker 7 (53:18):
There's been six turns yep, right, he's right, there's been
six turns been.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
He's right? Am I crazy? Now you're doing great? What
year did you pick? Because it changes the next round
chasing your dreams? Yeah? What what did you pick?
Speaker 22 (53:31):
What year?
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Twenty twenty five?
Speaker 7 (53:33):
He just got the first guest on the weekend? Say Christina,

Speaker 1 (53:39):
Be that way.
Speaker 7 (53:40):
Okay, what time is the segment going to be going?
We got about a minute? Yep, Christina?
Speaker 1 (53:45):

Speaker 7 (54:37):
Skin has four, Christina has three, will lead off with
Ben next on ninety.
Speaker 6 (54:40):
Seven one the all right, before we do, I want
to say thank you to Randy Parrish Parish Roofing Solutions.
He just texted me and said he thinks this game
is dumb, but he's really enjoying it. He just think
he just questions the way that KT is doing it. Look,
he's he's smart to do that, but he's just smart.
He's smart to question a lot of the things people do.
Like some people have garbage roofing companies. They come out
(55:02):
to your house and they do a half assed job,
you know, And the reality is storms, high winds, heavy
rains can displace shingles on your roof and if that happens,
rain could be getting inside your house, water gets in.
It could lead to a major financial repair. You just
need to get somebody you can trust up on your
roof just to make sure you're good to go. Don't
trust these guys going door to door in your neighborhood.
(55:23):
Trust Parish Roofing. In fact, call them right now to
have them come check out your.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
Roof for you. Two one four two two seven eight
four eight eight.
Speaker 9 (55:30):
Yes.
Speaker 6 (55:30):
And look, when you work with Randy, you work with
a personal friend of the Bin and Skin Show. Great guy,
he's got your back. He's gonna hold your hand through
this and make sure you feel good about it because
it's scary when you're dealing with how expensive a roof
is and what the problems could be. But you got
to know that's why you get him up there check
it out. If you don't have anything to do, He's
not going to tell you something you don't need. He
wants to be the roofer you turn to every time.
He's going to build that trust up with you. And
(55:52):
also you can count and depend upon his longevity in
the game. Right here in DFW, he's been in the
roofing business. Parish Roofing s OUs is over a decade old.
That says a lot. He's your guy. He can help
you with lowering out of pocket obligations, all llegal and compliant.
He can help you navigate finance, all that stuff. Turn
to Randy Parrish, UH tell him Ben and Skin since
(56:13):
when you call two one four two two seven eight
four eight eight, that's two one four two two seven
eight four eight eight or online at Parish Roofingsolutions dot com.
Ben and Skin Show ninety some one point one the Egle.
Let's give Guns and Roses tickets away to someone who
is just listening to the last segment. We're playing a
music game show based on what music festival. The first
person that uses the talkback feature on the iHeart app
(56:36):
and can tell us what music festival we're talking about.
It's going to continue on into this segment. Leave your name,
your phone number, your email address, and you're gonna win
those Guns and Roses tickets. We'll have another pair tomorrow
and we're gonna be out to Chalk Talk Asteeling Resort, Durant, Oklahoma.

Ye koh, Christina, it's not what I was thinking.
Speaker 1 (57:23):
Kong k o r h. Give me a oh you
know it?
Speaker 7 (57:33):
Yep, ko oh Corn. Yeah, okay, I was about to
make a Korean joke.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
I wouldn't think them with those other headliners.
Speaker 7 (57:43):
But yeah, Christina, name a year one five, two thousand
and five. All right, we've done all these increments of five.
I'm really proud of us. Yeah, it makes it easy
for the listener too. Yep, Christina, let's go with w.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
Uh you picked the year? No, you just picked us.
I did Skin picked the year.
Speaker 7 (59:41):
I'm gonna pick the year twenty Oh they did it
was twenty twenty COVID or did they have it? They
decided to roll the dice and take a chance. Oh
my god, COVID year.
Speaker 1 (59:52):
Let's go digitally. Oh okay, so let's not do that.
Let's do it. No, it's fun all right, twenty twenty
digital COVID. This is stupid. This is dumb, and I
don't like that we're doing it. Can we not pick
another year?
Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Please?
Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
Only if you let me do Chal Paul McCartney, you're
on there. We've already done that. If you let me
do nineteen ninety five, I'll do it. Mom. You know
that though, So I'm not doing What do you mean?
Speaker 13 (01:00:16):
I know that?
Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
You think you know ninety five? I mean I was
alive back then. He just watched the documentary.
Speaker 6 (01:00:23):
Yeah, this feels wrong, didn't it. Okay, you just picked
the year you want, Kevin. I'm trying to stay on
increments of five, but you do you now ninety five?
Speaker 1 (01:00:30):
We'll do it, okay. We talked about it on the
show the other day. Though it's just wrong. It feels wrong.
It'll pick a year, pick what every year you want.
I think I'm gonna sit this one out.
Speaker 13 (01:00:42):
Man.
Speaker 7 (01:00:42):
I've got some global warming tags I want to get on,
like the wildfires in Europe really devastating.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Let's do this our time, we.
Speaker 7 (01:00:48):
Should film, Let's do let's do one more, just one
category and we can wager Ben can wager two, Me
and Ka Ray can wager five.
Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Let's do a final jeopardy. You pick a year in
a band. Okay, I'm like this. Thank, Okay, this feels
this feels right. I'm writing down my wager.
Speaker 7 (01:01:05):
To twenty twenty one. All right, okay, five years ago again.
All of Blues is starting tonight four days much on
Hulu if you want.
Speaker 1 (01:01:17):
F are you wagering? All?
Speaker 12 (01:01:21):
Wait?
Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Now on your wager? I wrote my wager down. Wait
year is it twenty twenty one? Okay? F yep? Can
I go Frank Ocean?
Speaker 13 (01:01:32):
F Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
So it's been Oh I got it? Oh you already
know it? Huh I think I did? Pressure is on?
Oh Foxy Brown?
Speaker 12 (01:01:52):
Oh I like that?
Speaker 8 (01:01:55):
F o oh fighter God. If you were said anything else,
I would have been screwed.
Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
But what if she wagered minus three? Would you ager?
I am wagered one? She wins?
Speaker 7 (01:02:06):
Mar the food Fighters. It's us a Miley cyrus that
your Billy idol showed up kind of crazy for some reason. Yep,
I don't know, man, just a segment and throwing the
trash recycle.
Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
I liked it.
Speaker 7 (01:02:18):
Send it off to ever judges Radio Awards. I don't know, man,
Marconi's I'm out of gas.
Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
What else do you want to say to the people
that are I just thought we gotta do that Max
Crosby thing. Do you want to say anything else to
people that are just wondering what's going on with you
and how you're doing. I wouldn't be safe out there.
Speaker 6 (01:02:35):
Coming up next, let's cuss the Cowboys. Max Crosby rumors
are back at it again with the White Vans. We'll
talk about it next. All right, we are back to
the Ben and Skin Show ninety seven one the Eagle.
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
Thanks for rolling with us. By the way, we do
have a bunch of social media accounts. We are on Twitter.
Speaker 6 (01:02:52):
It's Ben and Skin on Twitter, Ben and Skin Show
on Instagram, we have a Facebook page, we have a
Facebook group What's going on in Dallas Fort Worth, And
we recently found out that we actually have a very
inactive TikTok account. So yeah, be sure to interact and
follow us on all the social media platforms.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
But right now, it's time for.
Speaker 6 (01:03:10):
This Cowboy.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
Surprise.
Speaker 7 (01:03:28):
So earlier we did a little segment on some of
the things that were said, but this is where we
get into the big story from the Cowboys opening press
conference the other day in California.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
Jerry Jumps asked a question.
Speaker 7 (01:03:37):
It started out, there's a little talk about it being
a quiet off season, and I didn't think I thought
that was a note to Jerry. I thought it was like, oh,
they think we had a quiet off season. Okay, I'll
start up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
So here's the.
Speaker 7 (01:03:47):
Fourth question that gets asked, and it's about, you know,
just being good while having a new defense and on
the fly, can you win now while learning a new
defense and all that stuff?
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
And Jerry went out of his way to say this.
Speaker 13 (01:04:00):
I'd give up future to add substantive to where we
are today as to a player, to give you an
idea about what I invest something substantive to get the
right kind of deal to improve us opening day.
Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
I would I feel that good about this thing this year.
Speaker 13 (01:04:19):
I think we've got a chance to be worthy of
spending some future if we saw an opportunity.
Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Sessions that are ongoing, if I talked to I talked
to yesterday.
Speaker 13 (01:04:30):
I talked about a situation yesterday with another team and
another owner yesterday.
Speaker 7 (01:04:35):
So the question was really just about why should we
believe you guys are ready to win now when the
defense is that bad and we gotta win, and he
turned that into I feel it's so good about our team.
Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
I'm willing to trade anything now for stuff.
Speaker 6 (01:04:46):
Dude, Jerry is the best. He's like Madonna. He's the
king of marketing. Like he knows that no pub is
bad pub. And he's got them hot and heavy in
all the rumor mills. Now, everybody's buzzing about this, and
just all you got do is think about who are
the teams out there where an owner would be having
conversations about trading a player. Very few, most of them
(01:05:07):
it would be the GM. So clearly he's talking to
the Raiders, right. Raiders make sense for sure. I mean
that's his long standing relationship. The Packers don't have an
owner's definitely not them them. I love the phrase spending
the future. That's a good phrase.
Speaker 8 (01:05:24):
Substantive. Yeah, I was trying to look that up. Google
does not recognize that word.
Speaker 7 (01:05:29):
It's when you want to take a submarine sandwich and
you want to change it out for another submarine sandwich.
It's a difficult word, substantive substitute because the in and
it's not substantive. Yeah, should be, you know, but I
think the actual word is substantial Okay, that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
I could be wrong. I don't know what he's trying
to say. He's saying it's substantive. Okay, Okay, I think
it's easier to say substantial. I agree. Okay. So Jane Slater,
here's that.
Speaker 7 (01:05:55):
She's like, well, if you're walking me down the path,
I guess I'll ask a question about Raiders defensive enmac Crosby.
Oh well, if you don't know this, they're not allowed
to talk about players who aren't on their team.
Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
It's tampering. You can get fined, you lose draft picks.
You're not allowed to yep.
Speaker 7 (01:06:09):
So after her question, pay attention to the five and
a second five and a half second pause before Jerry responds, we're.
Speaker 23 (01:06:16):
Engaging with the Raiders about giving something up substantive as
it related to Max Crosby.
Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
Now, you don't have to tell me it is Max.
Speaker 23 (01:06:23):
But could you one, why did you walk away from
Max Crosby when it fell apart with the Ravens and
not revisit that and then.
Speaker 3 (01:06:35):
We didn't.
Speaker 23 (01:06:39):
You elaborate on that?
Speaker 13 (01:06:40):
No, no, because there's nothing more to elaborate about. But
we did not walk away well understood his injury well
we thought he could help us event and we're surprised
the way that was resolved. But to basically take what
(01:07:01):
happened with him after he came home from the time
back to the Raiders to inject any thing about what
we're thinking are doing and because he went back to
the Raiders would be a mistake.
Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
He's a raider. He's a raider, Stevens.
Speaker 6 (01:07:22):
Yeah, he's on another team. Smart, but clearly that's what
he's talking about. Yeah, and good for Jane for pushing it.
You know, there's got to be pressure on those people
on the beat to not get in a bad way
with the organization, and she's putting the pedal to the metal.
But I think ultimately Jerry would like that she did
that because it turned into something that was on every
(01:07:44):
sports show in the country. And it also shows just
the beautiful way in which Steven deals with his dad,
because the smart thing would have been for him to
put his hand in front of the mind, go he
is a raider, we can't discuss that. Instead, he let
his dad do what he does and then he jumped
in when he needed to. So it's to not disrespect
his dad or do whatever. But Stephen knew the second
(01:08:05):
there was a five second pause.
Speaker 1 (01:08:06):
He's like, here we go. I thought it was interesting.
Speaker 7 (01:08:08):
We get a follow up, but we're going to learn
that Max Crosby loves being a raider.
Speaker 1 (01:08:12):
We know a lot about Max Crosby.
Speaker 23 (01:08:13):
Now what a player of that caliber be someone that
you would be willing to engage with another team in
two weeks, So that we're we're not all speculating.
Speaker 13 (01:08:23):
Again, Let's don't let's don't hypothetical here and be you
specifically a player in a hypothetical situation.
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
That is temperance. It really is, and so we don't want.
Speaker 13 (01:08:35):
To talk about that and act like that. But but
I've really got to emphasize here. He is such a raider.
He's complete, a raider, happy rader, everything in the book.
And we shouldn't even be having this kind of discussion
with him.
Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
He's such a rader. Steven just reminded me that I've
messed up. And I want to say he's a raider, raider,
happy rader.
Speaker 7 (01:08:55):
I'll say raiders so many times just to illustrate that
he ain't ours.
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
I don't want a hypothetic beautiful go get Max strong,
Let's go Let's get them on the side.
Speaker 6 (01:09:04):
All right, Coming up next, it's the big finish k
t gets to the bottom of a missing kangaroo controversy next.
Before we get there, thinking to Frankel and Frankel, Mark Frankle,
Scott Franklin, Jean Burquet, the three partners at Franklin Frankel,
very good at what they do. We're huge fans of
the Frankels. If you're involved in a wreck that's not
your fault, call the Frankels. Calm, immediately, call them from
(01:09:25):
the scene. It's never too early to get them involved.
Two one four, three three, three thirty three thirty three,
two one four all threes. You know they're local guys
standing by now. It costs you nothing to call the Frankels.
They only get paid if they reach a settlement on
your behalf. And that's what they did for me. I
got into a horrible wreck, wasn't my fault. They set
up the MRIs X rays and physical therapy. I didn't
(01:09:45):
have to come out of pocket for the medical care.
And at the end of it all, Frankel and Frankel
got me a nice cash settlement, which is what they do.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
It's what they've done for thirty years.
Speaker 6 (01:09:53):
Man, what a track record of being advocates for injury victims,
fighting for him till the very end to make sure
they get the settlement that they deserve with no out
of pocket expenses to the client, which in this case
is you. If you get hurt, your life gets turned
upside down. There's so many problems to go along with it.
You need someone fighting for you, and that's Franklin Frankel
two one four three three three thirty three thirty three.
(01:10:14):
Now that number also works with an eight one seven
eight one seven three three three three three three three Colin.
As soon as you're involved in the wreck, it's Franklin Frankel,
chosen by the people and feared by the insurance companies.
Fire NK e L Call Frankel first, Ben and skin
Show ninety seven point one the Eagle. This segment right
here is brought to you by roller Town Beer Works.

But right now it's time for this. I kill that.
I believe till you see the size of it.
Speaker 7 (01:11:29):
Occasionally, when there's big stories out there in the world,
I tried to get to the bottom of it by
Collings City Hall. There was one in Oklahoma from the past.
I'll just play freaquently. I've played this in a long time.
I was called More Oklahoma because they had a sex
toy bandit. They were posting sex toys on traffic lights,
attached one to a walmart and I called them.
Speaker 17 (01:11:51):
City Manager's office.
Speaker 7 (01:11:53):
Hi, did ja ever find And I'm sorry if this
is a little bit crass, but I'm just looking for
more information to see if this case was solved from
back in January. You know there was a quote unquote
dildo bandit.
Speaker 1 (01:12:07):
I don't know anything about that.
Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
Actually, oh yeah, it was a big story back in
January where someone was putting these just awful, just the
most crude objects and posting them everywhere. Everyone was on
a traffic light. One was posted like attached to a Walmart.
You didn't see this news story?
Speaker 1 (01:12:26):
Really, no, I didn't do. You not even live in More, Oklahoma.
This was huge news.
Speaker 16 (01:12:33):
I just have a sick person that I'm caring for
outside of work. Sorry, that's okay. I appreciate that. So
I can see if somebody else knows, you know, what
happened with that, or possibly I can give you to
the police stop and then I can answer that question.
(01:12:55):
I don't know anything about it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:57):
Okay, thank you very much. No, it's fine, Okay. I
was so unnecessary say that though. She didn't need to
say that. She was and she thought she was being
messed with. Oh she won.
Speaker 7 (01:13:12):
There's a missing zebra in Arkansas, and I called the
call on that. The lady was not excited to talk
to me. Hi, my name is Frank. I just had
a quick question. I don't know if I'm at the
in the right department. Did you ever find that zebra
that's on the loose? No, it's still out there. Yeah,
that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
I saw it on the news.
Speaker 7 (01:13:30):
It looks like a dad QR code running around. So
I was down there in Eagleville a couple of days ago,
and uh, you know, on the near the the the
Lingis family, you know, Connie and the zebra was there
and he said, I'll be white black. Okay, it's kind
(01:13:54):
of crazy. I can't believe we haven't found the zebra yet.
I mean, there's no gray area here, just black and white.
Speaker 13 (01:13:58):
You know.
Speaker 16 (01:14:01):
I got you.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Do you think we're gonna find it? I don't know.
Speaker 16 (01:14:08):
Can I help you with something?
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
So he can help me with a lot of things.
If we're being honest, been looking into doing some budgeting.
How can I help him? We gotta find that zebra first, though, priorities, ma'am.
Speaker 16 (01:14:24):
Well, I've got I'm on.
Speaker 17 (01:14:25):
The switchboard, so if I.
Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
Can't help you, I need to hang up. YEP. Yep,
all right, rock on, I love you all.
Speaker 13 (01:14:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
Sometimes they play long, sometimes they don't. That was an
amazing conversation.
Speaker 7 (01:14:38):
Well, there's a missing kangaroo in Missouri named Rufus. I
called the town of Bloomfield. They did not answer. So
I looked to the town south of them, Dexter, Missouri,
and they did answer. And I had a pretty good answer,
a pretty good little discussion this morning with city hall
of Dexter, Missouri, as we're looking for the four year
old kangaroo Rufus, who's been missing for five days.
Speaker 16 (01:15:04):
Good morning, they help you.
Speaker 7 (01:15:06):
Hi, my name is Danny Shackelford. Is this is a Dexter,
Missouri correct?
Speaker 13 (01:15:10):
It is?
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (01:15:11):
So I was wondering up a little north there was
a sighting of Rufus, the missing kangaroo.
Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
Do you know what the latest is is that kangaroo
been found?
Speaker 16 (01:15:19):
Well, they spotted in this morning. Are you on Facebook?
Speaker 13 (01:15:23):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
What's Facebook?
Speaker 12 (01:15:25):
Here?
Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
Real quick?
Speaker 17 (01:15:27):
It's still on nationwide.
Speaker 1 (01:15:29):
Oh yeah, everyone's talking about it. It's crazy. Did they
spot him in Bloomfield again or he was even.
Speaker 17 (01:15:35):
Closer to Aquilla, which is a little farther north.
Speaker 1 (01:15:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
I hope the public isn't jumping to conclusions on this.
I mean, I hope he's all safe.
Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
We never thought at.
Speaker 15 (01:15:45):
Him trying to stay with him and follow him wherever
he's going.
Speaker 1 (01:15:49):
That makes sense.
Speaker 7 (01:15:49):
I just hope they don't spook the spook the little guy,
because he's probably scared, you know, unless he got a roommate.
Speaker 15 (01:15:57):
They gone back to the owners.
Speaker 17 (01:15:58):
The owners are there trying to it to him.
Speaker 16 (01:16:01):
I'm trying to I can't now.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
Oh rufus Is he a fugitive? Do you think he's
wearing a jumpsuit?
Speaker 13 (01:16:10):
I don't think so.
Speaker 15 (01:16:10):
I think he's just he just looks like he's got
a collar off.
Speaker 7 (01:16:13):
They should CHECKU. Do y'all have like a local eye
hoop there in Dexter. I think that might be the
place you should look.
Speaker 17 (01:16:22):
We do not.
Speaker 15 (01:16:24):
We have that atal album.
Speaker 7 (01:16:26):
Hey, feel free to use that at the water cooler.
Oh hey, they're gonna think you're the funniest person.
Speaker 1 (01:16:35):
In the office. Would you start spreading that around? I
can't take the credit for it, though, No you can.
I've given you permission, like literally, Oh.
Speaker 17 (01:16:45):
My gosh, that was funny, he said, Look listen to me.
You know they're looking for rufus, he said, He.
Speaker 1 (01:16:56):
Said, do you have a local eye hoster or he
might be there? That is cute. That's cute. Still freaking
news that he did any want? Yeah, I wish the
crocodile hunter was here. He could, he could, Uh, he
could probably arounded him up by now I'm at him.
You met Steve Irwin, the crocodile Hunter. I did know.
(01:17:17):
We're interested now right, You know you make your laugh
that best friends.
Speaker 6 (01:17:23):
You have had so much disinterest from everyone you've talked
to that just absolutely hates you.
Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
But now you found somebody who loves you. Smash dude.
Speaker 7 (01:17:31):
Okay, how about this crocodile hunter situation. Yeah, you guys drink. Yes,
he get probably arounded him.
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Up by now I'm at him. You met Steve Irwin,
the crocodile Hunter.
Speaker 17 (01:17:41):

Speaker 9 (01:17:42):
I did.
Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
He was a thick fike. What are you just riding rides?
Speaker 18 (01:17:46):
No, he was.
Speaker 1 (01:17:47):
He was doing a show there, oh, sitting on alligators.
Speaker 15 (01:17:51):
He's something you probably won't even believe, but he actually dated.
Speaker 17 (01:17:54):
My husband's cousin out in Florida.
Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
He dated your cousins, my.
Speaker 17 (01:17:59):
Husband because I've never met her, but that's why we
went there.
Speaker 7 (01:18:02):
Okay, I thought you because there I thought you said
that he dated your cousin's husband, and I was like.
Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
I didn't know he was gay.
Speaker 17 (01:18:10):
Yeah, my husband's cousin.
Speaker 7 (01:18:14):
I got it backwards. Husband's cousin, not cousin's husband. Oh
my god, Oh, thank you so much. Can I just
say that your city hall has it together? As I
was calling Bloomsfield earlier and you can't get anyone to
answer the phone up.
Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
There, so no wonder they didn't find the kangaroo.
Speaker 7 (01:18:31):
Yeah, I call you and you answered like one ring,
and we're ready to go and get some stuff done.
Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
I really appreciate that.
Speaker 17 (01:18:37):
Well, you're welcome, and I did just find the update

Speaker 1 (01:19:03):

Speaker 12 (01:19:13):
Is that.
Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
All right?
Speaker 7 (01:19:19):
I'll check that out. I guess I probably need to
make a Facebook account now.
Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
Then he's brilliant.
Speaker 16 (01:19:24):
You want to keep up with Roofs, you better?
Speaker 1 (01:19:26):
Yeah, Well, thank you so much.
Speaker 15 (01:19:28):
You can call up here either way.
Speaker 7 (01:19:29):
Oh yeah, I'll call and learn more fun facts too
about the celebrity dating history of Steve Irwin, the incredible.
Thank you very much, ma'am. Have a wonderful day out
there in Dexter, Missouri.
Speaker 6 (01:19:43):
Where are you from?
Speaker 1 (01:19:45):
Oh I'm from up up in Guam to the east.
Speaker 7 (01:19:49):
Okay, yeah, all right, let me tell my friends we
had the day off work. We were looking for Rufus today.
Speaker 17 (01:19:54):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 15 (01:19:55):
You know another funny story. And I'm not trying to
keep you on the phone, but I used to work
a little booty here town, just on Saturdays, just to
kind of fill my time in And she would bring
him in in a purse.
Speaker 17 (01:20:05):
She brings Rufus in a pur.
Speaker 1 (01:20:07):
Are you gallery you've known Rufus since he was a
little joey?
Speaker 21 (01:20:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (01:20:11):
Ye, she had him in a purse, a pouch, all
pouch for a purse?
Speaker 2 (01:20:15):
Was he?
Speaker 18 (01:20:16):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:20:16):
Was he kind of like lazy? You have to watch TV?
Was he like a pouch potato?
Speaker 17 (01:20:20):
He was a pouch potato?
Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
Yeah, comedian that that comment was out of bounds. I
shouldn't speculate on old Rufus.
Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
That was funny though.
Speaker 7 (01:20:34):
All right, Well, I just think that you guys are
running an incredible operation.
Speaker 17 (01:20:42):
Oh my god, I could talk to you all day long.
Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
Well you just said, it's a complete opposite of what
my wife says about me. Oh oh oh.
Speaker 17 (01:20:50):
Will you know she's married to you and she lives
with you twenty four well not twenty.
Speaker 7 (01:20:53):
Four seven, but you know she's tired of it. So
she's tired of it for sure. All Right, I have
a wonderful, wonderful day. If I ever get bored, I'll.
Speaker 1 (01:21:04):
Just give you a call. This is a good talk
for me too, So all right, all right, just stick
it in a jar.
Speaker 12 (01:21:11):
Man, A.
Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
Dude, the second you told her you were married.
Speaker 6 (01:21:16):
She wanted off that all you got off to call immediately. Yes,
oh yeah, okay, this is taking a turn. Yeah, he
definitely you could have smashed up until then. I'll let
that small part ruin. How great have I callulations?
Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
Due?
Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
You finally found someone who will put up with you?
Think about this.
Speaker 6 (01:21:34):
He had a mission to go and bug someone about
this and ended up finding out she had a little
part time gig at a boutique on Saturdays.
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
That's gonna do it for us.
Speaker 7 (01:21:43):
I'll never forget the time that KT looked at a
little rufus in his joey eyes and said, burn my
tongue on a Texas twinkie. Yep, you guys, stick around
and play some tunes.
Speaker 1 (01:21:53):
I had a girl hang with kra next on the Eagle.
There you going, You're off.
Speaker 3 (01:21:58):
I want to get my sock back.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
Dude, God bless guys. Good luck in Frisco. All right,
enough fun in games.
Speaker 5 (01:22:04):
I love the radioh
