Here's a few segments from both Thursday and Friday's show. We had a lot of music segments, with Skin's top rock intros of all time and the 2000s pop/punk/emo bracket, and unfortunately due to music laws we aren't allowed to podcast licensed music, so there's not a ton of segments to chew on, but a few.

See yall on Monday!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, everybody, before we get into this podcast, thank you
for not flipping out over not having the podcast on Thursday.
You're about to hear Thursday and Friday Merge Together. But
if you got to hear any of the show live,
you know, we did a ton of music segments, tons
of them, and we can't podcast that stuff because of
rights and licenses and all that kind of crap. So
what you're about to hear is Thursday and Friday jam together,

(00:21):
me and Kat and Christina without Ben. Ben's not around,
and we don't want to get into all that right
now because the whole thing's exhausting. But but yeah, you
can hear these segments without all the music stuff. That's
just the way it's got to be. So I hope
you enjoyed it. Have a great weekend, and we'll see
on Monday everybody. Now here's the podcast. Have a good
weekend everyone. Dude with if and with I'll show you goal.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Ruin did axcept with similar free pursuing ed told out
Shaw shame through the sewer. Dude, Now what chill in
that day?

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Eagle?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Yeah, we two in it. Three your clock on the doc.
Gotta have it for my house A GOP status. Howard
starting to get credit shows that enough multiplied like a rabbit.
Tune in zone.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Out break it up, beat the habit.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
I'm on a hang out with her friend, locking it
on the radio.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
My boy's bin.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Talking in all the radio.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
It's time to to just walking.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
All ok, all up on my radio.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Did you guys see the ruptured testicle story? It's my
favorite story in the world of sports. It is such
a shocking thing to see that in the headline.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
It's a shocking thing to hear someone say that when
you have not seen that headline or heard of the story.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Did you not know that I was going to just
do that right out the gate. I had no idea
Kevin explaining to her about the ruptured testicle.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
So she got for the Oakland a's I guess this
was too nights ago, right. He's a rookie, isn't he.
He's a rookie, Yeah, fresh on the scene.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Crazy name, its hyphenated and stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
He takes a swing and he foul tips it and
the ball tips right into his nut sack. Now, this
created quite a big sports conversation at my house. Uh huh,
where Rocks was asking me like, well, what like, do
they not wear cups? Like, what's the deal? And I
was like, it's hard to run in cups. A lot
of guys prefer not to wear cups.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
We did, I bet we did hours of sports talk
on Beltray not wearing a cup back in the day,
Like we talked about it all the time, which I don't.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
I mean, it's pretty split, like at least back then,
it was like when people talk about like some guys
prefer to wear it, Yeah, some guys just you can't.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
You can't run in it. It's terrible to run in
especially with guys that have John Holmes junk. You know,
what are they supposed to do?

Speaker 5 (02:47):
So she was like trying to go through the Oh,
it's just so awful, and I was like, well, look
it's kind of on him.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
So to break this down, the pitch is up around
his chest and he chose to swing at a pitch
that was clearly a ball.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
He could have just let it go by, not swung.
If you swing at a bad pitch, you should suffer
an injury to your groin.

Speaker 5 (03:05):
So he takes a flailing, hard swing and a pitch
that nearly hit him in the heart and then tips
it off his nutsack, creating a ruptured testicle.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
And did you know, Christina, He then stayed in and
got a single and then and then played another inning
before taking himself out of the game.

Speaker 6 (03:25):
What a hero.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I thought they should have given him CPR on the spot.
They should have given CPR. He was junk. So here's
the deal. I don't know medicine, so I don't want
to just put that in context. I may have been
wrong with my advice there. I don't understand how the
body works. So Ben is off today, and I wonder

(03:48):
if it's It could be a number of things. It
could be this ruptured testicle story hits too close to home, yep.
It could be that he has been fired. It could
be a he's been talking about it for weeks. He
told me he was taking up gymnastics. Could be that
he's working on some his pobble horse routine. It could
be that he quit, or it could be that he's

(04:10):
on vacation. Any of those things are in play on
a Thursday. It's not the thing that's in play from
ten years ago.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
At the fan you have official fan account of tweeted
out that Ben Rogers is off today because he's going
to get butt flop of butt plugs.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yes, he took skins advice to go get butt.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Plugs on an official sports account.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
That was like one of those things where someone mixed
the joke up yep, because the joke was butt implants,
butt implants. But then they said, but I guess they're
thinking hair plugs on the butt, So they said butt plugs.
And why does he have to take a day off?
He's getting him permanently installed. It seems like a temporary thing.

(04:53):
I don't understand.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
It's a little bit before butt plugs was openly talked about.
It is a relatively new you know, at least on
the station. Kavanaugh hadn't opened up yet about his dollars. Yeah,
which is you know, it didn't seem like it was
as common as it is in today's It's like it's
what I would call a media gaff, right, Yeah, and

(05:16):
did you see.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
The one that happened in Miami the media gaff man?
Did you see that?

Speaker 3 (05:21):
No?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
So the Miami Heat threw up on their YouTube channel
Lebron James press conference, and they put up the date
for next Monday, and then they started streaming it and
the peop were like oh my god. And then they're
like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we were
we were practicing just in case, because dude, you always

(05:45):
have to practice a YouTube live stream? What who who
practices a press conference live stream a week in advance?

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Right? What?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I mean you practice it if you're not used to
streaming ever, But yeah you're not.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
I mean, does this giveaway anything away?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
You've been mostly saying Miami, right, yeah, okay, I pretty
much the whole time. Yeah, And uh, Matt Sizzik, our
buddy over at hay Maker has been pushing Cleveland, and
I think that makes a lot of sense. I think
the most basketball sense is Philly. But if he does
want to do a big important documentary or whatever, Miami

(06:24):
or Cleveland would be a much better choice for that.
You know, he has no affiliation with Philly or whatever,
but that would be the team to beat in the East.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
In my opinion, it's weird to just randomly be like, yeah,
I'm gonna end this storied run in Philly.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Right, I mean, I get it. But then it would
be a championship sure, And then you look at what
happened in New York, like Philly hadn't had a championship
since eighty two eighty three, and they're a big time
They're probably the second biggest basketball city to New York. Anyways, whatever,
all right, I'm very excited about this, and I'm gonna
whip y'all's ass with it not only over the course

(06:58):
of the next hour, but the next two days, and
then I'm going to carry it over to Monday. Okay,
last week, and Katie, you missed the first day of it.
You were there for the grand finale, but Christina brought
the best segment to the air. It was the twenty
five greatest rock intros of Old Time. And one of
the things that we learned was that there's different kinds

(07:20):
of intros. There's the long, drawn out, dramatic intro and
then it kicks in, and then there's some that just
start with just a badass riff by itself or maybe
an icon. There was like a lot of different things
that could constitute what an incredible intro this is. And
as the segment ended, we were talking about ones that
didn't make it, and Christina was like, I can't believe

(07:41):
they didn't have Tom Sawyer on there, and I was like,
oh my god, yes, that's iconic, and so I was like,
I tell you what, guys, would you give me the
latitude and let me come up with the ten best
intros that weren't on this list. He goes, yeah, go ahead.
You know, we can do it Thursday or Friday. We
might give you two segments if you need it. Well, guys,

(08:02):
I spent some time on it last night. Oh and
I have six categories and forty songs. Oh God out Jeopardy.
Now here's what I want to do with this, and
I want to start it next. Okay, we're not going
to do it all at once, but I want to
go category by category. I want to play these intros.
I want to talk about them, and then I want
to take Christina's list, and then I want to take

(08:22):
my list, and then I want you guys to go
over to over the weekend and I want you guys
to each pick your top five intros of old time,
and we do them Monday based on my forty and
their twenty five. You're only going to have sixty five
songs to go.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Through, no problem.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
But because I love stuff like this so much, coming
up next category one of the greatest rock intros of
all time right here, on ninety seven one The Eagle.
You know, Franklin Frankel have been partners with the Ben
and Skin Show for see two thousand and eight quick math.
That's eighteen years. Wow, that's a long time to be
partners with somebody. And we are so happy that we're
partners with them because they do it right. What do

(08:58):
they do? They're a kits for injury victims, fighting for
people when they're at their worst moment. Right you get hurt,
your life is turned upside down. It's not even your fault.
There's so much to deal with. There's medical bills, miss
time from work, future calculations. The insurance company is not
going to help you. They're trying to do a quick
settlement so they don't have to pay you what you deserve.

(09:18):
That's what Franklin frankl do. They fight for you to
get you what you deserve with no out of pocket
expenses to you. And when we say call the Frankeles,
first call them immediately. That's so they can help you
get the medical attention that you need and they'll start
gathering evidence to make sure that you're properly represented and
they can get you the biggest settlement possible. That's how
they built their reputation. That's what they do. Call them

(09:39):
first two one, four, three, three, three thirty three thirty
three or eight one seven in all threes, three three,
three thirty three thirty three for Frankel and Frankel Chosen
by the people and feared by the insurance companies. Fire
NK e L call Frankel first alby having fun with
us on a Thursday. We do have Weezer tickets to
give a I be listening for that cool little survey.

(10:03):
We're gonna do it at five o'clock. Something Kat's got
for It's kind of a guessing game and you can
play along at home. We got more music, we got
all kinds of stuff. But right now it's time for this.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
It's time to pop the top, breach your hands, and
it's grab a tree from Christina's cooky jar.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Christine.

Speaker 6 (10:42):
So, I don't know about you guys, but this.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Will Arnette story keeps popping up on my timeline run
down every day.

Speaker 6 (10:49):
I'm like, screw it, fine, I'll bite.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
So Will Arnett has upset a lot of people with
what he said on a podcast. It was called off
Menu Podcast, and I got just a small clip for you,
and here you go.

Speaker 7 (11:02):
I don't want to get into any trouble here. But
when it comes to the fries, I want to be clear.
If you serve me what they call shoestring fries, I
was going to ask, God, we have a problem. Those
aren't fries A What you serve me is a bunch
of bs. So if you run a place and you

(11:24):
serve shoe string fries, nobody near you and around you
has the guts to tell you that.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Respect.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
So he actually goes on for like two whole minutes
just crapping on shoe string fries and he's like, if
you make him, if you think they're great, trust me,
people around you are just not telling you the truth.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
They suck.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Did he give a specific reason as to why they suck?
Because one thing about shoe string fries it bothers me
is I love to dip hot French fries in at
least somewhat cold ketchup. That's just like a magical sensation
for me. Shoe string fries are bad for ketchup. They're chips. Okay,
he's right, and you know what in the UK, they're

(12:07):
cold chips.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Yeah, but shoe string that's not chips though, like.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
A lot of times they're kind of crunchy.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Yeah, I get that they're crunchy.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
Yeah, but you're right, you can't get it like you'd
have to get a handle of these shoe string fries
a bunch of together, yeah, and they you just got
to hope that none of them fall off while you're
trying to get that to your mouth.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
I think it's I think no, you're right. I think
you get you have a far higher likelihood of getting
ketchup on your clothes when eating shoe string fry than
any other type of fry. And I don't even think
it's close.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
It is weird for if you're a restaurant and you're
trying to make it in this world and you choose,
you know what type of fries it's gonna be a
iconic fry and get the end of waiting on shoetring fries.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
It's a bold choice. It's different. The game theory is there.
It's risky. It's like it's just we're gonna we're gonna zig.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
Yeah, but I don't know, there's something I agree with
him on that it's.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Not kind of like throwing a hell Mary on every
down and one of the best, one of the best fries.
That's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
No, that's a great question question because well, like the story.
It's the story I have talking about Will Arnett. Most
people prefer the steak fries, the big thick steak fry.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
That's what they serve at Muele or Wagoo, And I
love it. That's that's my steeze. And going back, not
only I love the way it's cooked, but that is
basically like a ketchup spoony think. Can I ask what
does steeze mean? You keep saying steeze. H it's eighty
it's early nineties wrap jargon for style.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Okay, so no one dared you to try to get
that in at least three times today?

Speaker 1 (13:41):
No, no, no. If someone it's just ingrained in me.
If someone says, you know my steeze, are saying you
know my style. He was in the gang.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Yeah, so the number one in the gang life. Yeah,
the number one fry steak fried. Do you I want
to guess Number two?

Speaker 6 (13:54):
And three?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Crinkle cut curly, Oh God, I love crenkle cut Kevin.
I'll cle cut dogs d head to head for me.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
You guys are killing the fry game because curly fries
all right, number two and then crinkle cut at number three.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
I mean I would, honestly, I would flip those. I
would do you would, I might go crinkle cut number one.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
It's see well, okay, because curly fries are only good
at Arby's and that's about it. I haven't had good
curly fries anywhere else.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I don't be jack in the box.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
They were removing some of their lettuce too, man. I
thought they were adding some lettuce because they liked again,
they liked to play in the margins, but.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Also noticed that waffle fries are not on here at all.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Oh yeah, I forgot well. I like waffle fries fines
too much. Man.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Yeah, They're hard to do. They're way too much. Okay,
So I have a question for Skin. You and Ben
have a brewery?

Speaker 6 (14:48):
If you have a.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Brewery right in Frisco almost it's the line of roller Town,
that's right. Have you seen this story about this star
based brewing. No, they flew out some yeast on a
SpaceX flight recently, cool multiple things of yeast, and they're
gonna make beer out of it, and whichever one tastes
the best.

Speaker 6 (15:08):
They're actually gonna sell.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
It space yeast, So it's space yeast. But like how
I mean, I know Tommy is one of your brewers.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Like, how does that even affect It impacts it greatly, Okay,
And a lot of times it depends on the strain
of beer. And I like, more than anything, if you'd
like a hef of Eizen style, the yeast is the
most important part. Okay, Now there is. I went to
a place in Asheville, North Carolina. Incredible city, one of
the greatest beer cities I've ever been to. Now I
went before the big flood, but they actually had a

(15:38):
brewery that sold their yeast to other breweries. But one
of the things that they would do is they would
take different styles of beer and brew it with two
different strains of yeast, so you could taste the difference. Oh,
it's very important. So yeah, I know this is I
think this is exciting. So space yeast beer is good.
Space yeast is good for beer. Bad for girls. Yeah,

(16:01):
you know what I'm saying. You don't want what you
don't want? Some old gal coming back from space and
she's got spacey situation, right, Christina, My segment once again,
it was the drill team man, So usually it's the
guy that's on the drill team. It's the Been and
Skin Show ninety seven won the Eagle. Are we really

(16:23):
bringing back keep it or bleep it later in the
show or is it gonna be cranking or yankee? We
don't know. We're gonna take a look at all that.
But coming up next, did you know this about Will
Ferrell's son? We'll tell you next. You have heard us
talk about prosper Ford on and on and on and on.
You've heard us talk about the Ford summer sales event.
You've heard us talk about Edwin Rivera the GM like,

(16:44):
what a great guy he is. Why do we talk
about this so much? Because it's all true and it's
all gonna benefit you. There is not one single friend
or family member that I have turned to prosper Ford
that they didn't come away happy. And a lot of
times they circle back and leave us messages or text
us thanking us for hooking them up with Edwin and
prosper Ford. That should tell you everything you need to know.

(17:05):
And there's no hidden fees, there's no gimmicks, there's transparent
pricing and here's the other deal. You can see the
entire inventory new and pre owned at prosper Ford dot
com right now, so you can shop before you shop.
See what I'm saying, See how I did that. It's
great see for yourself whether it's leases or purchases, and
have an incredible service department too. We can't recommend them enough.

(17:27):
Our whole family gets their cars from prosper Ford. Go
at the pros and visit prosper Ford today, three eighty
in the Dallas North tollw I'm just goofing new boot, goofin.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
Oh with I'll show you goal ruin it except with
similar free pursuing.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
It told out Shaw Shank through the sewer bid now
with chilling at day Eagle. Yeah, we doing in Clock
on the doc. Got a habit for my house, a
go status Howard starting to get Craddit shows that enough
multiply like a rabbit. Tune in zone out break it up,
Pete the habit.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
I wan hang out with her friend Rocket on the ladio.
My home boys.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Talking all the radio.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
It's time to to mis fallin all kt Christina.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
All up on my radio.

Speaker 1 (18:37):
All right, let's just pick up where we left off yesterday.
As you guys know, Ben is not here. We don't
know where he is. Maybe he's coming back, maybe he's not.
But right before he left, he positioned, uh, four different
forms of s. It was horse s, it was moule s,
it was dog s, and then Christina threw in there

(19:00):
chicken s. I want to give you this right quick.
One of our listeners put this on Twitter and he
told you what each one's are. M Oh nice, dog
ass is very poor quality. Bowl s is lies, not true.
Horse s is nonsense, even bigger lies. This is where

(19:21):
it gets good. Ape s is wild, crazy energy going nuice.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
How did we miss that?

Speaker 1 (19:28):
That's a good one. Bats is insane, completely unhanded Jamie
Lee Curtis and the bear is this guy good? Brian Linstrom.
Chicken ass is cowardly, rats is useless and worthless. Jacks
is nothing, as in you don't know jack ass or
you're not gonna do jacks. Yeah, it's nothing. Holy s

(19:52):
is the surprise, the amazing, uh, the s or good s?
Oh yeah, that's some good, excellent, high quality s. Hot s.
It's popular and impressed. Dank s is really good stuff.
Slang yes right you with me? Yes? KT yeah, I

(20:13):
got you. Little S is an annoying kid or a brat. No,
S is dull obviously, and then eat S is go
f yourself. It's a strong god.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Wow, dude, I gotta say this makes me not roll
my eyes as much when I hear the kids talking
about things being chopped or cooked.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Yea, we just took the S word and moved it
around a little bit. I mean, I think we advanced
the ball in incredible ways. There. Thank you, Brian. Now
check the pole results. Uh no, you have them?

Speaker 5 (20:44):
Yeah, because he put Ben put the pole up. Okay,
and horses still with the lead.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Yeah, over bs, chicken and dog coming in last. Incredible.
We also were doing the pop punk bracket, and I
enjoyed that more than you guys thought I would. I
really enjoyed that. We were worried about it.

Speaker 5 (21:02):
And even while I was pulling some music for it
a couple of nights ago, my wife was like, he's
gonna hate this.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
No, it's fun because I like cultural movements and what
they mean, the people and that stuff, even if I'm
not into it, like I've kind of want to learn
more about nineties country just because people. It impacted people
so much, but I never paid attention to it.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Nineties Country bracket KT.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
Oh yeah, that's perfect for the Eagle home Mark. Now
let's go. But we're not going to get back to
that for a little bit because the other thing that's
been going on and on and on, and I'm obsessed
with it. It's the greatest rock songs, greatest rock intros
in history. And it all started because Christina pulled the
list and we had twenty five intros and they were
all really good. But I was like, it all starts.

(21:46):
She goes, well, Tom Sawyer should have been on there.
I was like, man, there's a lot, and I came
up with forty one of them, and then I broke
them down into six categories. So we've only been through
three categories. So if you guys don't mind, I just
kind of want to pick that back up and just
kind of sprinkle it throughout the show, submitting skin Show
ninety one point one the Eagle. We're going to crown
the champion of the Pop Punk bracket in the big

(22:08):
finish coming up at five point forty five. Do not
miss that. We still have Weezer tickets to give away.
But first let's do this.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
I did it all cookie hooky hookie and me can
sing a cookie.

Speaker 1 (22:22):
Sing it in my job, Stick it in my job.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Stick it in my job.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Fantastic.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
So I've got three stories that I saw that were
involving scantily clad women, and I figured, well, why don't
I just group those together and present them to you guys.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
She knows us well, so I'll start with this one.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
So this week was the anniversary of the very first
time we landed on the Moon.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
We landed on the moon.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Who the second landing the Apollo twelve mission actually happened
in nineteen sixty nine, so the same year.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
But in November the same year. Wow, I'm not.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
And on this mission, you had one Alan Bear.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
He steps out on the moon the lunar surface, and
he's flipping through his little mission checklist, and all of
a sudden he sees a photo of Playboys Miss December
nineteen sixty eight. Apparently the other guys on the crew
thought it'd be a fun prank to just put that
on the checklist.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
And so there are four different photographs of different Playboy
playmates in this thing, and they're going up for auction,
oh Man Heritage Auctions.

Speaker 6 (23:24):
It ends today actually, But.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Have you seen the pictures of the ladies. How's the grooming?

Speaker 4 (23:29):
I didn't, but I will say I was intrigued. I
was like, huh, what does Miss December look like of
nineteen sixty eight?

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I can't imagine the grooming's good? Many eight. That's probably
all over the damn place.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
I just thought that was funny. That all right, astronauts
in nineteen sixty eight. Yeah, that's what they're doing. Let's
take this seriously, guys, at what.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
Point in history do you think pubic grooming became a
talking point? Late seventies.

Speaker 6 (23:56):
Fucking still isn't a talking point?

Speaker 5 (23:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Yeah, who talks about that? I mean I will at
some point perception changed. Yeah, And I think a lot
of us to do with good technology. I mean, we're
basic technology.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
Back in the early two thousands, right, because you had
the whole thing of like, well you had low cut
jeans were in you know, so like.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
And you wanted something peeking over the top. Discussion of
a landing strip was thrown around in my in my circles, Yeah,
because you guys aviators, we didn't have sunglasses.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (24:33):
The thing about this so heritage auctions is clearly going
to have these photos framed like mint condition or are
they like.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Sir, crupled up pages? Are they straight? Are they are?
I'm really asking I know what you're asking, and I
don't want to do that on a Friday.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
It's weird that the astronauts, the most trusted people that
we could find to go up to the Moon for
the first time.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
Ye, are also real horn dogs.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
I think they're going to be pristine because there's no
grap remember, so yeah, those pages are safe, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 6 (25:04):
Ye?

Speaker 4 (25:05):
All right, So now we're gonna go to England. Different
different naked woman story. Apparently they still get milk deliveries
to their door because this one, this one lady goes
to go get her milk delivery. She sees us not there.
She's like, all right, well, let me check the doorbell
camera and see what happened. Sure enough, she sees a
woman at five am wearing nothing but black underwear and

(25:27):
a crop top. She goes up there and she stole
her milk, starts drinking it, and walks off with it.
And apparently she's been doing this to multiple people in
that neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
That seems like a fetish. I want to watch a
scantily clad woman drink some milk. It was a good choice.
You got that all over your top lip, didn't you. Wow.
That's gonna sit there for a minute, I think.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
And the final one, this one is not so fun.
But it's in Washington. Uh oh, domestic violence call involved
with this one. There's a mom her forty two year
old daughter completely naked and assaulted her with a handsaw.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
She also took her phone, so the lady had to
run across to the neighbors to try to call the cops.
Use their phone to call the cops.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Right.

Speaker 4 (26:16):
Well, the daughter was still upset about it, so she
got in the truck, their pickup truck, naked.

Speaker 6 (26:22):
Drove over to the neighbor's house, and then tried to
run over her own mom.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Look at mercy.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
She ended up.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Taking the police on a chase, a car chase, and
then she almost runs over them as they're putting out
things to slow her down.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
And naked car chase.

Speaker 6 (26:40):
Naked car chase in Washington.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Remember earlier in the segment when nudity was fun, I
mean this was where we ended up.

Speaker 5 (26:46):
I was thinking though, for her to Christina to have
a segment with three nude stories. It's very smart of
her to do that with Ben out. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
The hr arms would have been firing across the hallway
that first story.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
He would have looked up Miss December nineteen sixty eight,
and he would have been checked out for the whole.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Rest of the segment. I can't he absolutely would have,
and I can't believe I didn't take the opportunity in
his absence to look her up.

Speaker 6 (27:10):
You could still do it. We still have a little
bit of time.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
All right, Hold on, you guys, say words.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
I'm told through a quick look up, yep, that it is.
I mean, you can buy this whole issue on Amazon
right now. It wouldn't support anyone buying anything from Amazon
unless you wanted to.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
That's really your thing? This gal okay, wait, are those real?
I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Those are strange. Oh
those are weird boobs? What is going for coming out
of her clavicle? Are you seeing?

Speaker 5 (27:44):
That?

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Is crazy?

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Dude?

Speaker 1 (27:46):
Was this just Christina getting here and look at these?

Speaker 6 (27:49):
I will in the break? All right, this is what's next.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Let me say this though, from the waist to the knees,
let's go all right skin Show ninety seven point one,
the ego. You have heard us talk about prosper Ford
on and on and on and on. You've heard us
talk about the Ford Summer Sales event. You've heard us
talk about Edwin Rivera the GM like, what a great

(28:13):
guy he is. Why do we talk about this so much?
Because it's all true and it's all gonna benefit you.
There is not one single friend or family member that
I have turned to prosper Ford that they didn't come
away happy. And a lot of times they circle back
and leave us messages or text us thanking us for
hooking them up with Edwin and prosper Ford. That should
tell you everything you need to know. And there's no

(28:34):
hidden fees, there's no gimmicks, there's transparent pricing. And here's
the other deal. You can see the entire inventory, new
and pre owned at prosper Ford dot com right now,
so you can shop before you shop, see what I'm saying,
See how I did that. It's great see for yourself,
whether it's leases or purchases. And they have an incredible
service department too. We can't recommend them enough. Our whole

(28:56):
family gets their cars from prosper Ford. Go at the
pros and US prosper for today three eighty in the
Dallas North Toll Ben and Skin Show ninety seven point
one The Eagle, Thank you for hanging out with us today.
This segment right here is brought to you by Franklin Frankel,
longtime friends and partners of the Ben and Skin Show
going all the way back to two thousand and eight.
Call the Frankeles first. If you get hurt and a

(29:18):
wreck or on the job site, they got your back.
I can't wait to get back into these rock song intros.
I've been obsessed with it all week long. We have
our pop punk bracket. We're going to crown a champion
later in the show, but we've got to do this
mountain school around the sports.

Speaker 8 (29:39):
Ktd Fu Twee says all the sports, Yes.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
All right, Friday News dumping the sports world. We're done
waiting for Lebron James. The announcement was dropped this morning.
Two years, eight million dollars. He is going to the
Philadelphia seventy six ers.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
What what?

Speaker 1 (30:00):
What?

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Man?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
So Kat, I've got this moment where I need to
celebrate my victory for calling this, but it's also terrible
because I was so obnoxiously proclaiming, under no circumstance would
Lebron James ever take less than market value, And anybody
who thought that was an idiot and didn't know anything
about sports. So I've already taken that giant l kick
to the nuts. But at least he made what I

(30:27):
think is the decision that supports taking less money, and
that is the best basketball decision. Let me break this down.
Golden State would have been an incredible story. Teaming with
Steph and Steve Kerr, who he won a gold medal with,
being out there with Draymond, who he's competed against so
many years. You get the old guys together, that's an

(30:47):
amazing story. They still would have been lucky to be
third in the Western Conference, and they would have been
light years behind Oklahoma City and San Antonio. Old guys
don't do well against young guys that are better. Go
to the other conference, Cleveland. Amazing story. That's you drafted him,
that's where he grew up. He delivered them their first
NBA championship. It makes all the sense in the world.

(31:09):
He would be a great addition to their team. They
would immediately be favorites in the East Miami. We know
all that stuff, right, He won championships there. It's a
great place to live. You know, he can play golf
all the time, which he loves, and then pairing him
with the Greek freak would be extraordinary. However, that team
has no shooting. Then you look at Philly. To me,

(31:30):
Philly was always far and away without even second guessing
the best basketball decision by a million miles. But he
has no connection to Philly. But I can give you
several reasons why it makes the most sense. But before
I do that, what do you think about him choosing Philly.
He's earned the right to do whatever he wants that

(31:51):
makes him happy.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
I kind of see it as do what you want,
because it's also not like Lebron isn't like, yeah, he's
barely hanging on. Lebron's still really good. But to go
to a fit like this with Maxi, Edgecombe, who's getting
getting better, love him, Jalen Brown and Bid. The first
thing I actually thought of was I cannot believe Boston

(32:13):
did all of this to themselves.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Dude, You know what it reminds me of. It kind
of reminds me of what Milwaukee did when they did
the Drew Holiday thing and screwed themselves, traded Drew Holiday
to Portland, and Boston said, cool, we'll take him. They
took him and won a championship. That's a little bit similar.
I mean, there's a lot of things different, but there
are some similarities there. But from a basketball fit standpoint,

(32:41):
come on, man, Lebron doesn't even have to score. Like
He's going to be on the floor with two guys
that are way better attackers and scores than him. They
have plenty of shooting, and honestly, I don't even think
they need Embiid like I mean, with him, it's hard
because he's in and out of the lineup so much,

(33:02):
but they don't need him, bead, they just don't. That
team with Lebron at the four and Jalen Brown rebounds
so well at the three, I mean, that is going
to be a monster team. And one more thing, Jalen
Brown on a mission with an ax to grind. And
keep in mind, you know Garland's own Maxie. He is

(33:24):
with the same management group that Lebron's with. Lebron loves
his game and he loves the idea. It's kind of
like what he had with Kyrie when it was like,
go get him, dude, I'm over here, you go get him.
I mean, you just can't defend this team with Lebron
out on the floor in those guys.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
It's interesting, though, I do wonder what maybe like casual
followers might think because you you know, obviously called this
knowing ball. I was thinking the Cleveland thing didn't make
sense to me because James Harden is currently on the
Cleveland squad. This just feels like a weird fit, right.
I think him and the Greek freaking Miami is a
bit of a weird fit. But you know, once the

(34:00):
tweet came down this morning, I just pulled up my
computer and just showed my wife and she laughed, like what.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Because it is stupid that he's ending his.

Speaker 5 (34:08):
Career in Philadelphia Like that is It's like, it is
a very weird things.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
It is, But it's also it's about, you know, he's
going to probably spin this into I'm going back to
where Wilt Chamberlain made, you know. I mean, there's a
lot of ways to spend it. But here's the thing.
Philadelphia has not won a championship since I believe eighty
two or eighty three, that's a long time dude, and
that is a big time basketball city, and Lebron will

(34:33):
be the man to deliver it. Well, it's an amazing story.
We'll be talking about it next week as well. But
that moment is done. The NBA is can go back
to normal because Lebron has picked his team. Coming up next,
let's get back into it. The rock intros, the greatest
rock intros of all time, right here on ninety seven
won the Eagle Ah Yes, been in Skin Show ninety

(34:54):
seven point one, the Eagle Fun five o'clock hour, coming up,
the finale to the pop Punk Bracket, the resolution to
the greatest rock song intros of all time. We have
the Today game and we're gonna be giving away Weezer
tickets sometime in the next hour. Got a chance, come
on girl, But right now it's time for this. What's

(35:14):
going on in Dallas?

Speaker 6 (35:24):
Dallas Top.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
Dallas, a city of love?

Speaker 6 (35:34):
Keep going?

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Okay, yep, what is going on in Dallas? Ball? I
think he does the sports the this is to be
with you many places.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Yeah, that song needs to get a second show, flyve
after our show.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
Yeah, it needs a third life. It needs nine lives.
I really I really would like to hear Gary Clark
Junior cover that Obie Wonderful.

Speaker 5 (36:09):
It's on the Leon Bridges new album in Hovey, so dope.
He's from Fort Worth doing Dallas, it'd be bad. All
the shows you need to know about this weekend in DFW.
Tonight Rollertown Beer Works in Frisco, Texas on the Chuck
Toss stage, we have Back in Black, the ac DC
tribute Let's Go.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
And everybody's amped up about them ever since they heard
some of these rock song intros. Getting to hear for
those about to rock tonight at Rollertown Beer Works, Beer
in the air, Let's go. Who's down for that?

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Well?

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Lad shoot the thrill? We get big balls going rock
and rolling noise pollution? Does he switch his voice from
Bond Scott to Brian Johnson songs you have to kind
of have to write? Yeah, Seeing what's your favorite ACDC song?

Speaker 6 (36:57):
I might go for those about the rock.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Maybe I got an underrated one. It's a long Way
to the Top. That's a great one. But man, it's
one of their later songs, but I love it so much.
Who made Who is the Jam?

Speaker 3 (37:10):
Who made?

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Who Made?

Speaker 5 (37:12):
Who Is the Jam?

Speaker 1 (37:15):
Vio game said play man and the one who licked
the dog or something.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Tonight at the south Side Ballroom fly Leaf, All right,
let's go. Is that sold out? I don't know. I
don't know why. I thought you might work in tickets
over there. That's weird. It's specifically, you know, if the
south Side Ballroom.

Speaker 5 (37:35):
Is that g.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
So skin.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
I believe the original lead singer Lacy, she's local and
I believe she's back with them and she's gonna be
at the shows.

Speaker 6 (37:47):
That I huge deal.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
I think it's likely it's sold out now that I've
heard that. Yeah, oh well, but they're from Belton, Texas.
Hell yeah, she will be belting it out tonight. Okay,
all right?

Speaker 5 (38:00):
Tonight at the American Airlines Center Grupo Fronterra Roxy Yeah
or our old friend Danny used to say he would
like to get a launchair and sit out in front
of them lobby at the AAC.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
I watch all the Mexican women walk in. Danny likes him.

Speaker 6 (38:17):
Some Latin ask No, he needs to stay away with
the blue chow.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Yeah. I just want to sit out in front of
air in a lawn chair, eating blue chew, getting ready
for the show.

Speaker 5 (38:24):
No tonight you can transport back to twenty ten at
the idel Do Club, Neon Indian is playing. Oh wow, I.

Speaker 1 (38:30):
Actually know that guy. You know he went to North
Texas right really? Yeah, I didn't know that. What a
huge deal in the late two thousands. His name Alan,
I mean could be. I really think the guy's name
is Alan. It's always a guest. He was kind of
like a little diminutive guy with great hair. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Yeah, uh tonight at Sons of Herman Hall, Charlie Crockett, Okay,
got a small place for.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
Him to that is.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
I don't think I've ever seen a show at Sons
of Herman Hall. Oh I have I seen many? Really?
Is it a good venue for that?

Speaker 6 (39:01):
Yeah, it's haunted, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
It's haunted. It seems small for him.

Speaker 6 (39:05):
It does seem small for him.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
So it's just a great bar. Like yeah, I agree,
he's going to drink the bar.

Speaker 7 (39:11):
You know what.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
People think it's like Herman Hall, like that's the music
venue in the hall. It's actually there's a guy named
Herman Hall and it's his son's Okay is it really Nope?
Made that up? Okay, every word of it. Yeah, that suck.
No good place what I used to like is when
Thunderbird Station, that bar was there. Yeah, they're not there anymore. Oh,

(39:31):
go have a drink there and then walk over to
somes of Herman Hall for a show. No, you still
have to do that. Those were the days things change.

Speaker 5 (39:38):

the Chuck Tas Stage. It's really Jaws and floats dive
in movie night, Yes, showing Jaws on the big screen.

to be playing her violin.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Oh it's that.

Speaker 5 (40:06):
How do you become the one violin player that everyone knows? Yeah,
and you know what a weird world. It is a
weird world, Like who's the B and C to Lindsay Sterling?
You don't, Jean luke Ponti. She she's like a household
name and no one else is good for her. Yeah,
tomorrow night at the House of Blues the Pretty Reckless Christina.

Speaker 6 (40:25):
Oh, that's right.

Speaker 4 (40:26):

Speaker 3 (40:31):

Speaker 1 (40:32):

Speaker 6 (40:36):
Daughter, right, Well, I need to mention that tonight.

Speaker 4 (40:38):

Quick math, that's eighteen years. Wow, that's a long time
to be partners with somebody. And we are so happy
that we're partners with them because they do it right.

(41:14):
What do they do? They're advocates for injury victims, fighting
for people when they're at their worst moment. Right you
get hurt, your life is turned upside down. It's not
even your fault. There's so much to deal with. There's
medical bills, miss time from work, future calculations. The insurance
company's not going to help you. They're trying to do
a quick settlement so they don't have to pay you
what you deserve. That's what Franklin FRANKL do. They fight

(41:36):
for you to get you what you deserve with no
out of pocket expenses to you. And when we say
call the Frankeles, first call them immediately. That's so they
can help you get the medical attention that you need.
And they'll start gathering evidence to make sure that you're
properly represented and they can get you the biggest settlement possible.
That's how they built their reputation. That's what they do.
