Two character actors, with two great names...and now in a span of a week, they are no longer with us.

coming up at the top of the hour a segment
we do called this made Us Laugh, where we go
back to some stuff that's really made our show collectively
giggle quite a bit. There's some funny audio of a
time that Ben went and dunked on some nubes. But
right now it's time for this inter tainment.

And nine. There's been a couple of deaths from television
stars that I wanted to get into today because these guys,
in my opinion, have two of the greatest and most
memorable character names in the history of TV, and they
died within a week of each other, Skipper and Gilligan,

not Skipper and Gilligan. Unfortunately, they're not really associated too much.
We'll start with the most recent one. Actor Bob James,
known as Cooter from Dukes of Hazard died Couter.

Cooter and boss Hog. It's his name. Boss Hog would
be a great name for a porn star that was

I doubt he's still. He was a little guy, right,
memory's always wearing that white suit. Yeah. I thought he
was like a little bit taller Danny DeVito, Right, I
don't think he was that short. I think he was
crell Brook. How tall was he? I'm gonna say he's
four to nine. I think he's I don't think he's

as tall as whole Cogan, but I think he's taller
than Danny deVie I'm saying four foot nine.

Oh five six, let's get wow. How about that he's
a tower. He's basically taller than Tom Cruise.

They actually added uh extra padding and like a fat
suit basically to make him look bigger than he was.
He's really just a little guy. Oh, they actually made
him fatter for his role of Boss Ox because if
boss Hog is like rail thin, that's not really impactful.

it like three or four years ago. Yeah, definitely worth
it for the younger generation, go catch the Sopranos and
fight through the first two or three episodes. It's gonna
be tough to get through that because it's gonna look weird. Yeah,
but once you get there, you're good and you're sailing.

What's it on right now? Watch HBO Max? Yeah, it's
and it's on constantly. Like if you I still have cable,
I have HBO Max, but I have like seven HBO
channels as part of my cable thing and an old
Sopranos episode will be on like once a week and
anytime I it doesn't matter the order, whatever. Anytime I
put one on, sit there, watch it. It is still

so great and entertaining. So sometimes the new thing is
not as good as the thing. It's you know, duplicating,
oh for sure. And I will say that Jessica Simpson
was way better as Daisy Duke than the og. Daisy
Duke looked way better and was a phenomenal actor.

Oh yeah, you're her acting Chops in that movie from
two thousand and seven. There you go TV deaths saying
sucks that people have to die, but it is part
of the world.
