for giving us a little bit of your time. Now,
the guy that you hear in the afternoon is an
old friend of ours as well. Jeffk is going to
call in here shortly, but it's time for a new
segment called this laugh Oh thank you lebotomy Ben. Now,

one of the things that happens on our show is
we stumble across different things and they just make us
laugh and they become a big part of the show,
and we replay him over and over and over again.
And so we're going to introduce you to some of
the things that we've always loved. Maybe you've heard this
stuff before, but let's go back in time.

It's a Texas football legend, Earl Campbell, one of the
greatest running backs of all time. He started a company
that sold sausage, and he is involved in an infomercial
that's designed to tell you the story of how Earl

Just give me a little background on what sparked your interests.

Well, I met to guys and we was discussing some
other business and they said, ear are we stand, you know,
out a barbecue.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
I says yes, and we sorted that is sorted off.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
I like it, un my, Earl, thank you so much
for joining us. It's been for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:55):

And it was out crazy and I hoped you as
a customer just sitting in your local voices stores please
ask for it.

Oh man, all right, So stumbled across that and couldn't
believe the magic sauce of it. And so she's doing
this report. She's in a reporter vibe, and then as
the interview gets going, she's realizing, I need to be
very careful and delicate here and like really treat him
like he's been hitting the head a lot, because he has.
He has he led Texas Rose, right, yeah, the tyler

but uh. And then the first question she's like, uh,
you guys have a lot of sausage too, and she
he thought she was saying you have a lot of sausage.
And then so he's like, yeah, we have these sausages.
And it's like, you thought there'd be a really cool
story about how he got into the sausage business, So
tell us about it. Well, I was talking to come
on and they said you like sausage, and I was

like yes, and then we had a business. I like,
that's the best part.

I can't get on like it, and it became such
a part of our lives. There's a lot of times
where I was on the average broadcast looking for reasons
to go.

on the periphery of my brain at all times. It's
just floating there waiting to drop in anything I experienced

half years, so, which is still an iHeart station, just

the same studio. They let us just change this, so
now we were comfortable doing the show in the same
place we always have. We're just now the Beninskin shows
on in the morning instead of being in an afternoon drive.
As long as we've been here, the phones did not work.
We were not able to work the phones. Yeah, I mean,

you don't need phones in the modern age. Our first
day here on lone Store ninety two five, they got
