Speaker 1 (00:05):
It's time.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Thank you. Fred USA today does this thing called ten
Best and they have these like lists and they just
roll them out throughout the year. And what they're going
with this time is which burger reigns supreme in the
fast food burger battle. Oh yes, a very juicy one
right here. So coming in at number ten, the double

(00:35):
meat Waterburger, water Burger ten number ten.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Immediately question this entire list.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
It is interesting that they make a distinction of the
double meat since the taste doesn't change between the double
meat and the single meat.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah, that's a lot.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
It's a lot of meat, if you're gonna get.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
What I would say about the double meat thing is
if if I ever wanted a double I always like
usually ask can you make it a single? I don't
like that much meat. Now, smashburger is a little different.
You get to a good smashburger place and they're cram
it down. But if it's too thick, I don't I
ain't touching it. I don't like it.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
You're intimidated.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
If it's too girthy, yes, absolutely, And I don't want
that much meat.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
But I'm the guy who doesn't really like.

Speaker 5 (01:24):
Steak anymore, so I mean, I kind of like your
take on that. I think I'm I think I'm starting
to lead a bit of a movement.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, I've heard a few people will be like, I'm
kind of with you, Like, I don't I like steak
has become a default thing for people, and I don't know,
I need.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Proof that there's people behind you on this movement. Some tweets.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I had steak last night and it was incredible. I mean,
it's it's good.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
That was a filet. You had salisbury steak, didn't you.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, I had salisbury steak with brown gravy.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Steak's good. I just think it's overrated. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, it's not about the level of what it is.
It's just is it perceived to be something that it's
really not. It's easier to mess up than people realize.
Good steak is still magnificent. Yeah, And if you're gonna
pay that much for a risk that you could on
your own or they could mess up. If you're buying
it from the butcher, clearly it's on you. However you

(02:21):
cook it. Number nine, it's a burger king.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You know there's no cheese on the whopper. You ask
to get cheese on that at least in the picture.
I'm saying he just asked for a whopper with cheese.
Kevin dade Ale.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
It is a good burger in that it's flame broiled,
and they do have that. They have that edge over
everybody else. But there's no way it's better than water burger.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
You see these, but you don't see them often. Freddy's
the double Freddie's.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Number eight.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Freddy's is really good. There's one in fourty. I used
to go to my family all the time. Really get smash.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Burger it is. They look good, honestly, looks really good.
They do pickles in there. Two oh yeah, hell yeah.
Fries look pretty good as well, crinkle cut fries.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Let's let's all go to Freddy's tonight. Five nights at Freddy's.
You guys want to do this? Yes, let's say next
week every night. Next week we're gonna have dinner at
Freddy's as a show. Five nights at Freddy's.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
You can't do that next week?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Oh I'm off next week when you guys go to Freddy's.
Let me Kat sends us to Freddy's every night and
leaves town.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Wants us to get heartburn. Always gone.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Number seven the Shack Burger at Shake Shack. Love it?

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Do you?

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
That week where we were trapped in the mall and
the only good place to he was Shakeshack.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I love it. I was impressed. I liked it a lot.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
I thought it was a little bit higher scale than
fast food. Do they have drive throughs too? I've never
seen a Shake Shack drive through. I haven't either, see.
I always think of fast food as having a drive through.
But that's interesting.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Maybe in other parts of America because they came here
way late in the game.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Number six, the cheeseburger at five guys.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
That's another one that doesn't have a drive through its
counter service.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, but I wonder if they have five guys in
other states.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
But today is USA.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
If you get into that realm where you don't have
to have a drive through, you're not talking about just
Burger King, McDonald's, you know, Wendy's and stuff. You're talking
about sonic things like that. You're not talking about Muyah.
If you let Muyah into like a fast food category,
they'll mop the floor.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Everybody.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yes, And I can only present the information that I
have because I would suspect that there are drive through
Shake Shack and Freddy's throughout America, probably Middle America.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
That's my guess. Five guys fries too.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
I love them bomb The only issue I have with
that is they don't need to give me four pounds
of French fries.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
They're looking for to feed the family.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, just being just going in there by yourself to
grab a burger and some fries. You're gonna have three
times as many fries leftover as you normally real quick.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I don't know if this is on the list, but
Sonic came out with like a whole like pickle meal,
like a big deal burger. I haven't had it yet,
but it looks so good and I can't believe I
haven't told Skin about it yet and that you haven't
had it either.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Where is this Sonic? What is it called?

Speaker 4 (05:15):
There's like a big deal pickle burger and then you
have tater tots with like a pickle thing on it,
and then a pickle slushy you can get with it. Amazing.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
I'm heading the Sonic right now. I can't finish the show.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
It's seasoned very well, okay with the with the tots. No,
I just saw the commercial and the pickle tots looks
so good. I don't know what the burger, but you
know whatever, And then it was a pickle slush they
put with it.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Yeah, sit grillos.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Look, I'm making an executive decision here because I'm a
man who's got good intentions. Yeah, the top five will
be done tomorrow. Okay, the top five burger wars. I
think that's good. We can promote to it. So tomorrow
at five thirty, we will do the top five fast
food burgers in a Erica, brought to you by the
USA Today in USA.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
That was great man.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
All right, thank you, Kevin. Coming up next, we crank
up the wayback machine. It's the five year anniversary of
something magnificent. We'll relive it next. Before we get there,
just about three minutes
