less talented Kittle, the Kittle that did not do a
little play by play action in the Chicago Cubs booth

local sports network, of course, the Cubs network, i should say,
And he was in He's a huge Cubs fan. He
was in the crowd. He helped roll out the h

You're forty nine? Georgan? Okay, I got you? Okay, all right?
Or or the more well known Kittle as I like
to phrase it. You know, I talked to the good
folks in Iowa quite a bit, and they're huge fans
of George Kittle because he is a you know, just
an absolute star at the University of Iowa, which always,

of course disturbs Badger fans. But yeah, he's the great
tight end for the San Francisco forty nine ers, but
a huge Cubs fan. And he was out there. They
put him in the booth, and you know, he sounded
pretty good. You know a lot of these celebrity dudes,
they come into the booth and we've seen that for
the Brewers for some time, and they'll be asking him
questions and you know, talking to him about it, and

you're like, I could I could do without. This wasn't
too bad from the NFL football player who who will
be sweating his cones off here real soon with the
two days coming up? Hey, mat before can you imagine that?

Yeah, before we go any further, there's a new rule
in the on the Benjamin the Out Show, and at
any time the guys Jason or or or Ben talk
about anything about the Bears and the Cubs, I have
to counteract with something from Wisconsin. So I'll do that
right now. The Brewers have the best record in baseball
right now. Cooper Pratt, the young star, got his first

putting huge tariffs, huge tariffs on Canada for being Canada,
and I strongly support that position. A little bit later,

we will have a conversation with the GOP's candidate for
governor in the great state of Wisconsin. That's Congressman Tom Tiffany,
representing the Fighting seven congressional district. I need to ask
Tom a few questions about what he thinks. I think

you'll have a few opinions on this, but what do
he thinks about the nut show, the lunatic asylum that
is Wisconsin's Democrat Party? Greg, do you get the sense
that they're taking a page from Maine right?

Oh? Man, They're in big trouble. I have a lot
of friends who are on the left.

Look, my friend's on the left who are also saying,

I have some liberal friends, one of my best friends
in the world, and so in conversation with, you know,
with some conservatives, particularly moderate conservatives, I'll say I have

campaign finance thing, David Crawley crawling back into this thing
with the help of the Great White Hope Tony Evers.
I mean, it's just it's out of control, and so

we're going to talk about that. You have said this
or it has been positioned right Greg that and I
do believe this to be correct, that Tom Tiffany is
the firewall against communism and insanity here in Wisconsin's.

That's I'm starting to see that on social media people
are saying that he's the firewall not just for the
state of Wisconsin, but really for the whole country, because
this is going to be a i'll belwether for the
rest of the country.

watched on that front. There are some other states because
this dsa good old Bernie's They call them selves democratic Socialist.
There's really nothing about the Democratic Party left in this
or at least the Democratic Party that I knew, you know,

maybe a generation or so ago. This has turned into
an absolute Marxist camp. Speaking of that, are you as
tired of this hypocrite as I am? Obama? Barack Hussein
Obama appeared on some sort of lefty podcast and he

was attacking Vice President JD. Vance, calling him, of all things,
a hypocrite. That's right. Former President Barack Obama suggested Thursday
that Vice President JD. Vance was pushing a blood and
soil vision for the country despite being married to the
daughter of an immigrant. The Vice president came up as

Obama was discussing the reconstruction era, with author Malcolm Gladwell
claiming that the issues from that era are still being
discussed today. Do you know why that is, Greg, Do
you know why the issues of that era are still
being discussed today? Tell us it's because Barack Obama and
his Marxist friends, of course, have to keep bringing it up.

Because that's the whole concept of critical theory, that there
are the oppressed and then there are the oppressors. And
this is the guy, this hypocrite who talked about the
post race era, the post you know where we could
get beyond race, because he was the first black president

talking about race in America and how oppressed one group

that with cores out in Colorado. People would would then
try to sneak a bunch of cases over and back
to Wisconsin. It was quite a racket going on anyway.
President Trump is imposing fifty percent tariffs on a range
of Canadian goods, from hockey equipment to alcoholic beverages, escalating

the trade dispute between the two countries. According to CBS News,
the new tariffs, laid out in a series of proclamations
signed by mister Trump, as they like to say, on Monday,
are set to take effect on August nineteen. The White
House accused Canada of unreasonable, onequal and discriminatory actions by

imposing tariffs or import restrictions on certain American goods, some
of which began after Trump's initial round of tariffs on
Canada last year. He's also pretty ticked off, and I
am too about all this stupid smoke coming from the
North and basically making life miserable. We again, as I

mentioned before, we're going to have a better day smoke wise,
but it's still going to be around Milwaukee. It's still
going to be around particularly northern Wisconsin and out to
the northeast. I mean, we have seen, as the Rolling
Stone said in the Seminole, painted black, we have seen
the sun blotted out from the sky. It really gary stuff.

And you know what that has to do with It
has to do with really poor forestry management. We have
that in states in this country. California was a very
clear example of well, first of all government and competence,

which was led by DEI candidates DEI hires, by the way,
but California has had years of issues with really terrible
forestry management. I was talking to a good friend of
mine who is in this business, has really watched the
climate change cult for a long time, Bonner Cohen, and

he was telling me yesterday that what's going on in
Canada is because they passed laws that said you cannot
put a road into these forests any so firefighters can't
get to them. At the same time, because they have
managed their forests so poorly, you have huge overpopulation and

strands of dead wood that's just a tinder box. And
then every year that we've seen from Canada, it just
goes up. We have the smoke pouring in just about
every summer because of these poor, idiotic forestry management systems.

And again we have that in the United States. We
have that for a big reason too, because Bill Clinton,
remember old zipper Bill. Sure, mister dry cleaning Bill Bill. Yeah.
He before he left office in two thousand, he signed
an executive order that did the same thing Canada does.

It says you can't build a road into these protected forest.
These folks who are protecting the Four Horus are destroying
the forest and our air quality. So way to go,
environmental wackos. One final point, I think we should do
this tariffs perhaps, but we really need to punish Canada.

And the best way to punish Canada is to say,
all right, you know, knock this crap off. We're sending
you one of our most insufferable human beings on the
face of the earth, and there are a lot of them,
an insufferable person from leftist politics or Hollywood. And the
first move I make is you're going to have to

take Justin Bieber back. That's it, man, I don't want
to be cruel.

a bat in the county tested positive for rabies. The
bat was captured by a resident following concerns about potential
exposure to their pets. Officials did test the bat and
they worked with that resident to ensure any animals potentially
in contact with the rabid bat were quarantined and vaccinated.

Also this morning, national story for you, Matt. Darlene Graham
that is the younger sister of the late Lindsay Graham's
officially going to run to become the full term senator
for South Carolina. So she's going to run in the
primary in August and try and win a full six
year term in November. She made an announcement yesterday on

Fox News.

Well, that's very interesting. I also saw that Nancy Mace
will be taking herself out of the field, out of
the competition, and South Carolina just breathed a collective sigh
of relief. We don't have to deal with that bat

their senator siblings? If you will pass away.

to mark the fiftieth anniversary of his final home run.

Billy Aaron, was in attendance yesterday. Hank hit his seven
hundred and fifty fifth homer at County Stadium fifty years

always the case. Dozens of House Republicans are pushing a
mass amnesty bill that would expand a visa program for
illegal alien agriculture workers and give many of them legal status.

Forty seven Republicans have signed on to a bipartisan bill.
Let me tell you something, when you are dealing with
immigration and you get the bipartisan you better take a
look at the details, because that's when you, the taxpayer,
you the American are about to get screwed. Forty seven

Republicans have signed on to a bipartisan bill in the
House that would allow illegal aliens who work in agriculture
as of May thirty first, twenty twenty six, so this
would be retroactive to obtain h to a farm work
visas giving them legal status and waiving some immigration violations

like illegally obtaining an agriculture job, in order to allow
that to happen. You know what it would wave. The
first thing it would wave was the law that the
illegal immigrant broke when said illegal immigrant came into the
country illegally. But who's counting it? Likewise, the bill allows

employers that hired illegal workers to bypass accountability. And that's
really where the rubber hits the road, isn't it. You
have two things going on at the same time. You
have illegal immigrants rewarded for breaking the law simply because
they're in an industry that has demanded illegal immigrants work

in it so that they can save some cost. I mean,
farming is Agriculture is not alone on that front. We
have seen it in all kinds of industry, particularly the
hospitality industry, the restaurant industry. And this is where we
hear over and over again from the radical no border

left and the Chamber of Commerce conservative so to speak, well,
who's going to do those jobs? Who's going to do
those jobs? Until, of course, artificial intelligence replaces some of
these things. It is very interesting because we have gone

through this over and over again. There's a cat in
Texas by the name of John Cornyan. John Cornan is
the US Senator from Texas, a Republican. John Cornyan will
no longer be the Senator from Texas. He lost in

(25:09):
a brutal primary and then a runoff to the Attorney
General of the state of Texas. And he lost in
no small part in Texas because John Cornyn backed a
couple of things that just simply do not sit well

(25:30):
with conservatives, particularly grassroots conservatives. He backed an amnesty bill.
He also backed a pro gun control bill that he
will never ever be forgiven for in the state of Texas.

(25:54):
I can tell you that right now, a lot of
people held a grudge on that one, and they took
it into this election cycle. But John Cornyn did the
same sort of thing that a number of Republicans have done.
But most Republicans, or i should say many Republicans who

(26:14):
try to push amnesty for illegal immigrants of some kind,
and remember amnesty is anything that creates a pathway to
eventual citizenship, because that's really what it's all about. Republicans

(26:34):
are saying, well, no, this is just you know, this
gives them some legal status, that sort of thing. No,
the endgame is always the same, whether Republicans believe that
or not. Democrats want the next generation of voter. That's
why they went through this massive open door policy during

(26:54):
the autopen presidency of Joe Biden. They opened the door
wide and an inva of ten million illegal immigrants. And
now we're dealing with that. And so the long game,
the endgame for Democrats as always, well, they're already here,
what are you going to do about it? And then,
of course you have a president like Donald Trump, who
campaigned successfully on saying we're going to clean up this

problem that Joe Biden created for us, the Democrat Party,
the Democrat infrastructure created for us, because again Joe Biden,
throughout all of his presidency really had the mental acuity
of a hungry man Salisbury Steak TV dinner. This is

not a win for Republicans this election year. You already
have a lot of conservative voters who are looking at
this Republican controlled Senate in particular and saying, what did
we what did we vote for here? Because we definitely

aren't getting it. Sure, you got your big beautiful bill.
That's wonderful. The tax cut, no doubt, very important, extremely
necessary for the average individual taxpayer and the growth and
success of this country. And we are going to reap
the benefits of that. I don't take that away from anybody.

But if you start getting into amnesty programs, so many
Republicans have paid the price for that, it's not a
good look. I understand why some some of these forty
seven Republicans are doing this. They're in tough house races.

(28:54):
They're in tough house races where they have some in
their districts who who really care about non citizens becoming citizens,
illegal immigrants being able to become citizens. At certain point,
it is a you know, it certainly is and can

(29:15):
be a lightning rod issue. But the political calculus here
is not good. Conservatives for the last thirty years have
been screaming to Republicans, we want to take care of
this illegal immigration problem. We don't want amnesty. I know

(29:42):
this is extremely helpful for some industries that continue to
search for employees. They can't find them. They can't find
these workers. I get it. I understand that it's still
breaking the law. And if you don't offer any consequences
for breaking the law, guess what's going to happen. Yes,

it's what happened during the autopen presidency. The law, our
immigration laws will be broken over and over again. Final
point here, as we close out the six o'clock hour.

strange headline from Fox News. Illegal immigrant who murdered Michigan

woman sues Trump demands seventy five million dollars, public apology
and US citizenship. Well, are you listening, forty seven Republicans
voting for amnesty? This is your guy, It seems an
illegal immigrant serving a lengthy prison sentence for the murder

of a Michigan woman is suing President Donald Trump, alleging
he faced humiliation when his case was used as a
political talking point and is demanding seventy five million dollars,
a public apology, and yes citizenship. Brandon Ortiz Vite twenty seven,
who was previously deported from the United States, is serving

a sentence of thirty nine to one hundred two years.
It's quite a spectrum for killing Ruby Garcia in March
twenty twenty four.

It was a terrible, horrible.

Homicide, and this idiot is now suing the president, because
he made this idiot the face of the twenty twenty
four campaign, or at least a face on Trump's agenda,
key part the core of his agenda, which was to

apology from Donald Trump, and then after all of that,
he wants a US citizenship. Can we help you out

how you do it is if you don't like your candidate,

backlash over the weekend after addressing a group of college
students wearing an outfit resembling the wardrobe a former Communist
dictator Mao Zedong. And he also defended old Mao and
his red Book, saying recently on a podcast that he
would never ever insult one of the greatest leaders of

all time. Didn't mention the fact that Communist Mao, of
course was a mass mass murderer. Francesca Hong has been
tied at the hip. In fact, Hasan Parker has gone
out to you know, to help her raise money. What
do you does that now help or hurt her?

Cause they're counting on wisconsinight's not knowing history. All you
have to do is go back and read one of
the books about that era when Mao was Chairman of
China and the incredible famine that they had during that

period of time because farmers were not incentivized to grow food.
I mean, it was a classic case of communism, which
is just a form of socialism, and Mao held firm
control of all of China and he made sure that
people were punished for not getting in line. Well, guess

what it led to famine, no different than happened in
the Soviet Union under Lenin and Stalin. It has a
long history socialism. Communism fails every single time, and Mao
is another one of them, and he maybe the worst
of all of them. And maybe that answers the question

of why Piker thinks so highly of him. But they're
counting on people not knowing their world history. That is
what they are counting on in this lite as they
try to advance socialism. But Francesca Hong is clearly tied
to them. I mean, she's a member of a five

person caucus I think in the State Assembly of the
Democrats Socialists. She's fully embraced everything that they stand for.
And it appears that she's fully embracing a guy like
Piker who believes that socialism is that this time, this time,
socialism will work.

a very good point. They will prevail if they get
enough people who have at least refused to remember history
or never learned it, and that is one of the
big problems we face in the state of Wisconsin. Just
like everywhere else, We've had a generation, a couple of

generations of this indoctrination, this critical theory and doctrination in
our school rules. Are you concerned about the lure, if
you will, of socialism, which again is another prettier name
for communism, because you have so many of these young
people who really have no sense of history going out

there and saying, hey, man, socialism is cool. It's like
a hangout. You know. I've hugged more people in my
time as a Democrat socialist than I ever have.

The siren song of socialism. It's been preached to so
many times, and countries have fallen to it, and it
has created nothing but misery for those people. But I
would say it's not just young people. In fact, I
think many young people they're concerned about where our state

and country are going, and they are correct to do that.
What we have to highlight is that it's the failure
of government, which socialism is always about more government rather
than giving people freedom. Taken Wisconsin, a four hundred year
property tax increase every year your property taxes go up,

and that is government taking more of your money. We
put we put more money than at any time in
state history into our schools. Is that what we should
be doing is jacking people's property taxes up even more,
making home ownership unaffordable. I would say to those young people,
this is part of the reason you can't afford to
buy a home. Think about that monthly bill do you

get for your utility rates? Over two billion dollars in
increases in the last few years. That's as a result
of a government that is taking more of your money.
And then I would say to other things, it is
time to audit state government. We waste so much money,
tens of millions of dollars. Look at Minnesota nine billion

dollars of fraud and counting. That's a failure of government
to police its own actions. We're going to deal with
all of those things. We're going to end the four
hundred year property tax increase, We're not going to rubber
stamp these utility rate increases, and we are going to
audit every corner of state government to make sure that

state government is doing its part to make life affordable
for wisconsinines.

It's all good. I understand it, I get it. But
what about the people who don't follow politics very closely,
and they say, really, what I want is free stuff.
Just give me free stuff. That's what socialism is promising.
It's a huge lie because eventually the free stuff you
get today you are going to pay for in manifold

ways later on. But I mean, that's the pitch, that's
the lure of this so called democratic socialism.

So that's they say, we're going to tax the billionaires.
So there's a couple billionaires in Wisconsin. I believe one
of them is worth like twenty two billion dollars. With
all the spending that they want to do, they'll wipe
that twenty two billion out in one budget cycle. So
then what do you do. Who do you go to
after you've taxed the billionaires out of their wealth. If

that's what you choose to do, you go after the
middle class. And that's what happens every single time when
you see this happen where they say we're going to
only tax the rich, Well that's what was said with
the original income tax in nineteen twelve in Wisconsin. We're
going to get property tax relief and we're going to

in the middle class. Make no doubt about it. They're

immigration agents among those who responded. Apparently, he's written a manifesto.

is the accomplice media and what NBC and ABC in
particular did on Thursday night, or what they didn't do.

They opted to not carry the president's nationwide address, which
I found really quite insulting and offensive. But it also
I think very much ties into FCC Chairman Brendan Carr's
investigation and the FCC's investigation into ABC about its bias

and where it delivers the news. You folks pen the
letter a memo if you will, or a complaint to
the FCC. Can you tell us more.

About that, Yeah, Matt. It is fundamental responsibility of broadcasters
to operate in the public interest. The reality is that
we as Americans, the American people own the airways, and
the government licenses individual companies to use those airways to

(01:13:29):
serve the American people, to serve the public interest, and
so sometimes that means providing entertainment or showing the Brewers game.
But like an important component of the public interest has
always been keeping citizens informed about what's happening in their country,
and that means broadcasting presidential addresses, and so throughout history

(01:13:51):
broadcasters have given us, you know, live coverage of the
national political conventions or every year at the State of
the Union broadcast live on network television. That's just sort
of a standard that we've all accepted. Is that in
appropriate moments when the president needs to update the country
about what's happening, the networks give him the airtime he

(01:14:14):
needs to do his job, and that's part of their job.
And when ABC and NBC didn't do that this week.
I think it was once more a failure on their
part to serve the public interest, which is ultimately the
legal standard that governs their licenses.

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
Yeah, no doubt about it. And the bottom line is
what would happen if Fox News back in the day
would have decided, you know, we're not going to cover
Obama's President Obama's addressed to the nation. Now, Fox News
operates on a different system. It's part of cable news.

(01:14:53):
It's not over the airwaves, and so there is a
particular special trust that these broadcasters, these mega broadcast networks have,
and they failed to do that. Of course though, Daniel,
you'll hear from them and from their leftist friends. Well,
they can put on whatever they want to. And Trump

(01:15:14):
was gonna lie again about the election of twenty twenty
and that it was stolen and they don't need to
broadcast that. Do they have a leg to stand on here?

Speaker 5 (01:15:26):
No, man, That really is the frustration. I think that
the double standard that the networks continually apply to politics,
that we have seen the Democrats lie over and over again.
They lied to us about the Hunter Biden laptop. Like
you're just saying they lied to us about COVID. Yes,
the networks and the media and the news lied to

(01:15:48):
us about President Biden's mental acuity in office. And yet
whenever they wanted airtime to push their misinformation, the networks
were completely complicit. And yet when President Trump is there
to deliver what they think is misinformation what the rest
of us think is actually just reality, according apparently to

(01:16:09):
our intelligence agencies, the networks are then in this superpower
position of acting as gatekeepers and deciding what the American
people get to hear. And so they decide that it's
okay for Democrats to lie to us on network television
and lie to us on network news about major issues.

(01:16:31):
But then it's their responsibility somehow to stop President Trump
from communicating with the American people, even when it's not
incorrect information.

Right.

So it's a total level standard on their part, and
it reflects this mentality that their job is to be
the gatekeepers, that their job is to screen the information
that the American people get and the voices the American
people hear from. And that's just incompatible with our democracy,
it's incompatible with the public interests. We've always built our

country on a marketplace of ideas, where there are a
multitude of voices making their arguments in the public square,
and then ultimately it's up to us as voters and
citizens to decide who we believe and who we support,
and not having these elites in New York and Hollywood
make those decisions for us.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Indeed, it's also incompatible with the laws governing their operations,
their very existence these broadcasters, Daniel Sir, President of the
Center for American Rights, they are a public interest law
firm doing great work, particularly in all kinds of different areas.
But they've done some fantastic work in the world of

(01:17:46):
media bias, and again, media bias in the airwaves that
we own. That's the big problem. ABC has been a
huge vibe. I'm not saying that they all have, the
ABC in particular has been a huge violator of the
public trust. It's got all kinds of problems with Whoopee Goldberg,

Whoopee and Sonny and the rest. Of course, over at
the View, ABC and the View claim that they have
an exception because they're a news program, which I find
head scratching to see the very least. But then ABC,
the network itself also has some issues, and we're right

(01:18:31):
in the middle of an FCC investigation into whether this
network should have its license extended. What do you think
this latest turn, this little temper tantrum from ABC will
do for that investigation and their license future. Yeah.

ABC is in a really tough spot. They have some
major issues. Matt. You mentioned the View. I think every
time you see another episode of the View, it just
reinforces what the American people already know, which is that
the View is not the news. If you want to
tune in and watch the news, you do it at

six pm. You know during the View, that's not what
you're going to get. Whoopy Goldberg, Sonny Joy like these
are part and and a lot of these are partisan hacks.
They're not journalists. And so ABC has a major issue
with the View. And then you're right that ABC owns
licenses for individual stations in major cities like New York,

(01:19:34):
like Chicago, like Los Angeles. Those initially came in under
investigation by the FCC because of alleged invidious discrimination, that
they were engaged in race based discrimination and gender based
discrimination against their employees as part of their DEI practices,

(01:19:57):
that they were actually creating special pathways to promotion special
employment programs for people based strictly on race. That's all illegal,
and so that was the genesis of the investigation. But
really now it has bloomed into a much larger review
of ABC's operations as a network, and what that's showing

(01:20:21):
shouldn't be a surprise that ABC is basically an arm
of the Democratic Party. You look at the guests, ratios
on the View. You look at Jimmy Kimmel using his
show to just consistently platform Democrats to push electing Kamala
Harris immediately before the election, like over and over and
over again. The ABC network is used to serve the

Democratic Party, and that's not in the public interest. The
airways belong to all of US Republicans and Democrats alike.
They belong to the American people. They don't belong to ABC.
They don't belong to the Democratic Party. And that's I
think the real trajectory of this investigation. It started with
the racial discrimination and that remains a huge problem, but

there are so many more problems that are coming to
the four and ABC's got a huge issue to deal with,
and I don't see it going well for them.

Yeah, I would say not these elitist networks really do
believe that they own the stations, and that the people
who don't agree with their narrative that they're not bright enough,
they're too stupid to understand what the truth is. And

I think it's pretty disgusting. I think it's pretty disgusting
that they refuse to even do what they usually do,
which is falsely fact check the president at every turn.
They wouldn't even allow for that, and so this is
a remarkable time in broadcast television and it does need

for shoe string fries. Everybody hates shoestring fries, Arnett said

also known as matchstick fries, are cut extremely thin. If
you serve me what they call shoe string fries, we

by the people around them. Yes, it's kind of like
Ron Swanson from the old Parks and rec Show when
that was fine. Yeah, he said, I hate liars. I
also hate skim milk, which is milk that is lying

about being milk. And that's what Arnett's position is on
shoestring fries. I'm not crazy about them either. I just
don't think there's enough fry for the buck. I like
a good you know what I like. I like a
good steak fry. You ever had a good steak fries?

because it's like a chicken nugget, but it's in French
fry form, and so they serve them in these little

you just go to town. You can dip them in
your barbecue sauce, just like you dip it in a
ketchup packet. You know, all of that sort of thing.
And what's remarkable is I think the chicken fry part
of it is actually chicken, if I'm not mistaken. So

that's that's always good news. But as far as the
shoe string fry, no, Arnett says, no shoe string fries, no,
thank you. But then they get into a little frakus,
and people listening in people commenting say no, shoe string

cut cut fries should be illegal.

whole issue too. What restaurant has the best fries. My
father in law used to love the Wendy's and they
still do it. They're called the Sea salt seasoned fries.

salt from the sea, as if salt doesn't come from
the sea to me again, But you know, every marketer's
