Indeed number one talk show in theOhio Valley. This is the bloom Daddy
Experience. Your host bloom Daddy. His goal inform, entertain and tick people
off. The bloom Daddy Experience onnews Radio eleven seventy WWVA starts now.
(00:24):
It is seven oh six on thisWednesday morning, The bloom Daddy Experience with
Otis and Sam News Radio eleven seventyWWVA. Otis. We have made it
just a couple hours in counting, and the phone works and all the phone
works. I forgot to ask youphone works, the the issues that we
had with the phone yesterday. Huh, we're kind of my fault. Oh
(00:49):
really, So the phone lines weren't, I mean like they weren't gonna let
me get you on air because itwas disconnected from the server. Sometimes what
you have to do is you haveto so it must I either got bumped
or there was a power surge orsomething. So I unplugged the cable that
goes into the piece of equipment. And when I want to plug it back
in, I didn't realize there's likea little on off switch above the plug,
(01:11):
and so my finger must have askedwhen I pushed it in my finger
because it's underneath I'm laying on theground. I don't I didn't even see
it. So when the engineer camein yesterday, he said, there's a
little on off button right here, and I'm like, oh, you were
on the ground, that's what thatgrunting was yesterday. Well, no,
the grunting was me getting up orattempting to get up. So the initial
(01:34):
issue was not caused by you,but the fact that the remaining rest of
the phone didn't work at all wasmy fault. Well, hey, you
know what it's percent I take it. I take the blame for it.
Hey, you live in your lord. It was a new piece of and
I was looking for an on offswitch and I'm thinking there's got to be
a switch somewhere, but you can't, Like I can't even get my head
(01:57):
high enough to see where the switchwould have been. We have another one
in another studio and the engineer goes, oh, look, here's where the
switch is, and I'm like, that's what I do. And for the
just to describe what he's talking about, there's like a table, there's a
table underneath stuff. There's mounted underneaththe table, and it's really dark and
there's no lights. Yeah, yeah, so but great, I'm glad the
(02:19):
phone lines are okay, so giveit's called and sixty four eleven seventy and
we have giveaways. We do havea couple of giveaways. Got one this
hour and one next hour. Yes, we're not going to give it away.
We're not going to give everything. You know what, We're this hour,
in this hour giving away wild things, tickets great, it's vouchers,
so the best thing you can like. So it's no specific game. So
like if if we gave out ticketsto say, like the July twenty first,
(02:42):
I don't even know if they play, but say July twenty first,
and you can't go, then you'restuck. So these are vouchures. You
can pick any game you want togo, any night you want to go.
They work around your schedule. Yeah, we have that going on.
We have another giveaway at eight o'clock. We're not tell you what that is.
In the eight o'clock hour. Yeah, at eight o'clock. Yeah,
at the in the eight o'clock andthen of course it's a Wednesday. So
Politics on Leash with Elgind mccartal isgonna be on a little bit later we're
(03:07):
gonna hit on a couple topics withher AOC. She's at it again.
Wanna get gonna talk to Elgin Moorefrom the legal side of things, because
everybody knows she is a lawyer, but want to get into AOC and her
comments about Scotis or the Supreme Courtruling along with the Chevron decision. Want
(03:29):
to get her thoughts on that also, so load to show lot's happening and
want to remind everybody. Next week, Denny McGruder, the new mayor of
Wheeling, is going to be onwith OTIS And if you have questions,
you can email them Sam at iHeartMediadot com or I did post it on
our Facebook page. You can leavea comment in the comment section if you
do have a question for the newmayor. But we're gonna still get into
(03:53):
some national news, local news, and some fun Fourth of July trivia.
Oh boy, and of course yougotta talk hot dogs. We have,
Yeah, we have a couple ofthings. We have U we have we
have actually a segment we haven't hadin a long time. Real American douchebag.
(04:14):
Ah. That's right, We're alittle comedy clip for you. Yeah,
because let's find out who the douchebagsare. This year. It's sort
of like a Friday. It isbecause we're there's no show tomorrow because it's
the best of because we will becelebrating the fourth of July. And then
on Saturday, I will be You'reyou're leaving for your vacation and I'll be
driving for mine. So on Friday, did I say Saturday? Friday?
(04:35):
Yeah? Friday, yeah, andtheir wives and Saturday. I'm all discombobulated
with the listen I was thinking today, I was thinking, I was like,
oh, the cleaning people because camein. They normally come on Tuesdays
and Fridays, and I was thinking, oh, they came in early this
week because it's a holiday, becauseI was thinking yesterday was Wednesday, and
I'm like, there I go again, Like I have these moments where I'm
(04:58):
a day off. You know whatalways gets me stuff with that? At
least I remember it. You knowyour name too, trash pick up,
But it does. It always messesyou up when there's a holiday through the
week. I mean, it's it'sa simple thing, but it's something that
all of us deal with, andit's like, why didn't they pick up
(05:18):
our trash. Well, it wasthe holiday weekend and blah blah blah blah
blah messes everybody up. Most timesthey get pushed back like one day.
So like if your normal pick up, like if your pickup was earlier this
week, you're fine. But thenthey normally had that they really don't get
a holiday because they pick up onSaturday. Then, yeah, pretty much
it just flip flops for to you'redating normally a day behind. Yeah,
(05:41):
So we we've been talking, ofcourse, since the debates, let's get
into some national topics. We've beenasking, you know, who's running the
country, what's going on. Soit is now that there are things that
are starting to slip through the cracksgetting out into the public. More and
more information from behind the scenes thatthe White House is coming out. We
(06:02):
talked yesterday about how you know, there are voices from the inner workings of
the White House on the personal sidewhere the first family or the first couple
lives, how there has been annot an attempt basically issue of rules of
separation to keep people away from thepresident, and that's been going on basically
(06:26):
since he took office. So thepeople don't see behind the scenes of what
he's really like. They basically keephim segregated from a lot of people.
Well, now it's coming out thatHunter Biden is more involved in becoming more
and more involved than what people knew. He has now began to join meetings
(06:48):
with the President and close staff. He's also getting on phone calls. It
has increased since the family stayed atCamp David on Sunday post debate. Now
with him pop into these meetings,he's popping onto phone calls, he's advising
his father. It's causing confusion inthe White House. A lot of the
staff are asking, you know, where did he come from? What is
(07:11):
his authority to be advising his father? You know what is happening basically,
And one thing is and this iscoming from NBC News. This is coming
from NBC News, who we knowhas been in the pocket of the Biden
and the liberal monarchy for decades now. But the fact that they're putting this
(07:35):
out there, the tides are turningon the Biden administration and the Biden family.
And you know, it's really scaryto think that Hunter Biden is having
any influence in our government, anyinfluence on his father. If he's on
(08:00):
phone calls with God knows who speakingon behalf of his father or us the
American public. That's scary. That'sincredibly scary. Now. Of course,
KJP, the White House Press Secretary, made a statement saying the President is
very close to his family. That'sfine. I'm very close to my family
(08:24):
too, otis you're close to yourfamily. That doesn't mean, you know,
my husband pops in and jumps onthe radio with me or advises me
how to do my job. He'lllisten to me vent because that happens a
good bit. But you know, and you just look at Hunter Biden and
(08:48):
you're just like, oh god,he just makes my skin crawl. There's
something about his look. I don'tknow. But the facade is crumbling,
and it's crumbling quite q because thereis now a second Democratic lawmaker who is
openly discussing his lack of faith inJoe Biden. He's not the first,
(09:11):
he's the second. And it istumbling, and it is tumbling quickly.
We're going to talk about that anda couple more things. Then, the
Northern Border, Boulder Border. Wantto get into some statistics coming out of
there. Also. It is sevensixteen the Blue Daddy experience with Otis and
(09:33):
Sam News Radio eleven seventy WWVA.Welcome back to se samon Otis Radio eleven
(10:03):
seventy WWVA. So we all knowwe're all getting ready for Fourth of July
weekend. So throughout the show, just gonna scatterer in some Fourth of July
trivia and see how smart otis is. Since I have the answers in front
of me. Okay, who ruledEngland when the colonies established independence? King
(10:26):
George the fourth? Third? Third? Yeah, I knew it was a
third. I just I slept prettygood. Good. How many people estimated
were living in the colonies at thattime? Yeah, oh crap, I
don't know. I know that's random. Thirteen colonies, five hundred thou two
(10:50):
point five million, so take yourword for it. And what's here's one
final one? What city hosted thefirst official Independence Day celebration July fourth,
seventeen seventy seven. I'm gonna haveto go Philadelphia. Yep, Ding ding
Ding, Good job, good job, because I mean that's where everything was.
(11:13):
I mean, you know, basically, you know, that's where the
declaration. I think that's where everythingwas signed. The Liberty Bell was there.
I mean the whole work. Soyeah, it was kind of DC
before DC pretty much. Yep,as Elton john says, Philadelphia Freedom.
Yeah we can't play it. No, well we can't. We just can't
(11:33):
have it in the podcast. Wehave all kinds of fun rules we do.
We do, but we're not goingto get into that. So mentioned
before the break, the dam isbreaking, the curtains are falling, everything
is happening that there are certain thingswith this current administration that cannot be hidden
(11:56):
anymore. He is out of thebasement and the joke is over God Willing,
the joke is over come November. But a second Democratic lawmaker is openly
declaring a lack of faith, andthis is Texas Congressman Lloyd Doggett. He
became the first congressional Democrat to officiallycall on Biden to step down. Hours
(12:22):
later, Jared Goldman of Maine revealedhe's also lost faith in Biden's re election.
This is going to be a conversationthat will not die. We have
people like Pelosi who is backing him, who is making excuses. The White
(12:43):
House, of course, is makingexcuses. Joe Biden is making excuses.
She's out there hitting the campaign trailas if she's the candidate, because honestly,
I think she wants to be.She might as well be, because
she's the puppet master in this entirething. I don't know how you could
say she's not her along with theextended family, because they're fighting to they're
(13:07):
pushing to keep him in the race. And here's my question. I'm gonna
I'm gonna ask Elgin this when shegets on with us, if this is
not handled properly, whether okay,if Biden steps down, if he decides
(13:28):
to say, you know what, what is best for the country is that
I take myself out of this race. Now we all know he will not
do that. Number one, hisfamily, Number two his ego, But
in the small chance that he woulddo that, and a race to find
(13:50):
a replacement, and it it will, it will send the Democratic Party into
a tailspin. It will turn intothe biggest cluster we've ever seen. Could
this end the Democratic Party? Maybenot end it completely, but how much
(14:11):
long term damage could come out ofthis? I don't see. I don't
see here's you said. You talkedabout Biden's ego. I don't see that
at all, because I don't thinkhe has any clue what he's doing.
He's he's like the he's like thefive the four year old T ball player,
the five year old T ball playerthat you know, they swing at
the ball four times and then theyput the ball on the tee and they
(14:33):
miss it three or four times, and then they finally hit it, you
know, three and a half feetand mom and dad tell him what a
great job they did today. Youknow, Well, no, he really
wasn't a great job. I mean, I understand, you have to reinforce
I mean this and that. Wellthat's what doctor Jill did after the debate.
I understand. But again, sothat little kid has no idea.
(14:54):
They think they did something great. So that's what they're doing to Joe.
Say hey, you did a greatjob at the debate. You're there to
find job blah blah blah blah blah. And he's going yeah, okay,
okay, and it's like he doesn'tknow any better. Well, you said
the five year old. I don'tknow if you've seen it. There's a
video out there of him and it'smocking Joe Biden and the after you answered
(15:18):
all the questions, you answered allthe questions, and it's him as a
baby, like it's a baby faceand he doesn't talk or anything. It's
just the head going, you know. So when you said a kiddo playing,
and that's what pumped into my head. But it's pretty sad that these
conversations have to be had, andit's pretty sad that after the debate there
(15:41):
are not more than two Democratic lawmakersthat are speaking out saying, you know,
we got a problem here. Wehave a major, major problem.
But as I told somebody yesterday, that was you know, we were talking
about it, and I said, listen, do not fall for the shock
and a surprise of all of thiswas everybody knew. So they played the
(16:03):
clip of Doggett this morning on thenews. Then they played a clip from
some other Democratic guy. I don'tknow where he was from, but he's
like, we had to stick withJoe Biden. He's done such great things
for the country, He's going tocontinue to do great things and blah blah
blah, And I'm like, dude, you are on crack. Welly,
so who said it. We're notvoting for Joe Biden. We would be
(16:25):
voting for Joe Biden's policies. No, we would be voting for democratic policies,
just right extreme democratic policies. Soif you're even saying you're not voting
for Joe Biden, then what isthe point of him? I mean,
if they're openly making comments like that, what is the point. Well,
(16:47):
if that's the case, then you'reright if they're saying they're voting for Joe
Biden. They can't be because JoeBiden isn't running the country. No,
no, And it's scary to thinkif Hunter Biden and is getting more and
more involved, like I mentioned earlier, but it makes more sense now that
they found the cocaine in the WhiteHouse, who belonged to and why they
didn't mention it? Yeah, Ohwe can't find We got nine thousand cameras,
(17:11):
we've got we've got every lab availableto us. But yeah, we
can't figure out whose fingerprints are onthis or we didn't see anything on the
camera. Come on, they wereon the cocaine that day. Yeah,
Hey, it's seven twenty eight. We're gonna jump to a quick break.
The bloom Daddy Experienced Salmon Otis NewsRadio eleven seventy WWVA seven six The bloom
(17:55):
Daddy Experience, Otis and Sam NewsRadio eleven seventy WWVA. So earlier this
week I mentioned are we waking upfrom being woke? And as I see
things, I'm going to bring themto you that kind of fall under that
statement. So saw this this morning, and this dates back to COVID in
(18:21):
the COVID vaccine, and I justwanted to mention this because we have a
win for a Tennessee woman. There'sa lot of lawsuits that stem back to
the pandemic that are finally making theirway through the court system. As we
all know, the legal system moveslike a snail sometimes. So this Tennessee
(18:41):
woman was fired from Blue Cross BlueShield because she refused to comply with the
company's COVID nineteen rules and taking thevaccine. She refused to do it under
religious beliefs. She has won andwas near She was awarded nearly seven hundred
(19:03):
thousand dollars. Her name is TanjaBenton, and she proved by a preponderance
of the evidence that her decision torefuse the vaccine was based on his sincerely
held religious belief She refused to getthe vaccines, and she stated she firmly
believes, based upon personal research, that all COVID nineteen vaccines are derived from
aborted fetus cell lines, now thatI have not heard before, and she
(19:27):
cannot in good conscience receive the vaccinebecause it would not only defile her body,
but also anger and dishonor God.So just one more example that a
lot of the extreme things that happenedduring the pandemic post pandemic, that those
(19:48):
who have taken legal action, theyare making their way through the court systems,
and it seems as if a lotof common sense in the court systems
is finally starting to win. Well, anybody that was fired during the pandemic
or post pandemic for not taking themfor not getting the vaccine, you know,
(20:11):
they should have a lawsuit everywhere, because first off, the people lied
to you. The politicians lied toyou. Joe Biden, Fauci, they
all lied because one they said, and there's clips out there to tell you
this, but they all said thatif you got the vaccine, that you
(20:33):
could no longer spread it, youcould no longer get it. Blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah. Thatwasn't true. And they said, oh,
if you get the vaccine, youwon't die. Well, that wasn't
true because people that had the vaccinestill got COVID and passed away. So
it was all it was all Imean, it was all blown out of
proportion. So if you got firedfrom your job, I would hire an
(20:55):
attorney and say, here we go. This case is set in the precedent
too. And you know, whydo I have to have a religious belief?
If I didn't believe in the vaccineto begin with, okay, then
then I should have that right tosay I don't want that vaccine. Well,
(21:15):
and the point of me bringing thisup is not only because we've talked
about COVID and the vaccine for howmany years now at this point, but
as these stories come to light andthese decisions are made, the mainstream media
is not going to report on them. They're not going to talk about them
or have a conversation about these typesof decisions because it goes against the line
(21:38):
that they have been feeding us foralmost five years. So just want to
keep this in front of everybody tounderstand that we are seeing the right decisions
finally starting to happen. People arebeing called to the carpet like Fauci and
a lot of these businesses who forcedvaccines on their employees. If others want
(22:04):
to talk about it, I wantto talk. I want us to talk
about it because it needs to bespoken about. I wonder how many of
the military personnel that were discharged becausethey wouldn't take the vaccine are now going
to file suit against the federal government. Yeah. Interesting, hmmm. We
said things that make you go ninetiesreference, thank you? Uh huh.
(22:29):
So let's hit some local stuff. So Wheeling new Mayor Denny McGruder has made
his selection for vice mayor. CouncilmanJerry Sklovnacus was appointed into the role on
Tuesday. He called it a truehonor and said he's excited to get to
work. The city council held itsfirst meeting yesterday under the leadership of mister
magruder. Jerry has been a councilmanfor how many terms now, I'm not
(22:53):
sure, but he's been there fora while. It's been a while.
Good you have you have you haveto but you have some experience on city
council. In Jerry's club in Augustand Dave Palmer, you know, and
and then you have two new people, uh, and you have a new
mayor you and you know, Ithink this is a good choice by Denny
(23:15):
to take Jerry as his vice mayorbecause Jerry's been there and he knows the
inner workings of council. Denny's stillgetting his feet wet. Oh. I
mean, it's not like Denny's youknow, he's he's had to deal with
counsel and everything else, is thedirector of West Banco Arena. But when
you're when the shoes on the otherfoot, you still there's still some things
you have to get you know, your feet wet, you have to get
(23:37):
used to and and just little things. And I mean, you know,
I'm not gonna say that I thinkDenny's gonna do a great job. I
just you know, I think there'salso a learning curve there, a little
bit of one, no, nota big one. That's what's interesting about
this new council and a new mayoris it's a it's a really clear mixture
of experience and fresh blood and freshtakes on things. So it'll be it'll
(24:03):
be really fascinating to see how decisionsare made and what we see happen.
And maybe city Council is awakening frombeing woke. Oh thank you, yes,
nice take my line because you hada few council members that, yes,
leaned very far to the left. And you know some of the policies
(24:26):
here in the city have shown that. M hm. So you like my
line, do you? I justused it again, That's all. I
reused it. I recycled it.I went green on that line. For
good God. Now I do soundlike Joe Biden. Okay, I't a
(24:48):
weird. A man has been arrestedfor trying to steal several vehicles. It
started around Sunday sunrise yesterday morning, when thirty two year old Robert Bailey pulled
out a gun and tried to takean employee's at a sleep center. He
didn't have any luck there. Hedidn't have any luck there, so he
later stole a worker's car at uhNone as lunchbox before he crashed into a
(25:10):
tree. Police lost him in thewoods, and then they tried to take
another Then he tried to take anothervehicle at the Foot and Ankle Care building.
Bailey was finally arrested and he facesa list of charges for his actions.
But it starts at the sleep center. You're thinking maybe he didn't get
enough sleep last night, and thenhe goes to the lunch box and then
(25:33):
he goes and then he goes tothe foot and ankle plate. I mean,
like, come on, dude, like like you can't just pick like
a regular place to go and steal. You gotta go to all these service
centers for your human body. Well, and then the headline says man Rob's
Sleep Center. Okay, I thoughtwhen I hear sleep center, I think
of a mattress store. So Ithought somebody bust broke in and stole some
(25:56):
mattresses. Well, sleep centers likewhere they test you, like if you
have sleep at in the ends.I know, but for some reason,
no, it could be a mattressstore. Well yeah, think of the
price of mattresses. They're not cheap. I mean we're talking a couple grand
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Andhere's a reminder. See I was right.
Residents and Wheeling with their normal Wednesdaytrash pickup should place their items on
the curb today. City officials saythere will be no sanitation and recycling collection
(26:18):
tomorrow because of the holiday. Anyonethat's normally serviced Thursday and Friday will experience
a one day delay in their pickup. See, there you have it.
I was right. Nothing like delayingyour trash pickup. Hey, guess what,
we're giving something away. We're gonnagive something away Washington Wild Things,
Family four packets, a voucher soyou can pick the game you want to
(26:41):
go to, the day in thegame, so you know it's an open
ended ticket. You have until theend of the season to use it.
And a book. You get acopy of Clay Travis's new book. What's
the title? You get it infront of him, Uh, the American
Playbook. There you have it.You pick the number. I'm going to
pick number eight, number eight eight, one hundred sixty two, four eleven
(27:02):
seventy A Family four pack to theWashington Wild Things one hundred sixty two four
eleven seventy The Bloom Daddy Experience Otison, SAM News Radio eleven seventy ww V,
A Welcome ex seven fifty one,The Bloue Daddy Experience OTIS and SAM
(27:41):
News Radio eleven seventy WWVA. It'sWednesday, so it is time for Politics
Unleashed with Elgin McCardell. Good morning, Elgin, Good morning. How are
you. I'm good. I'm good. How are you got big plans for
the fourth I do? I do? I got big? I got my
family coming in like sixteen seventeen peoplestaying around for about four or five days.
(28:06):
Wow, well, then you're goingto add to this number. You're
going to add to this number.I have a little bit of trivia for
you. Roughly how many how manyhot dogs will be eaten on the fourth
of July? Oh goodness, goodnessacross the countries? Yep. Oh see,
(28:26):
there's three hundred million people. I'dsay thirty million, one hundred and
fifty million hot dogs, hotly crap, and fifty millionaires. Yeah, fifty
million. Nathan's hot dog eating contest. Yeah, I tell you what.
Nathan's colossal hot dogs are the best. I don't know if these guys ever
(28:49):
had them, but they're really good. Well, they actually hit the button
that numbers according to the National hotDog Council. I didn't even know that
existed. But Hunter, that's alot. That's half the country. Yeah,
yeah, it's gonna have at leastone hot dog. That's a lot.
That's a lot of hot dogs. That's a lot of catchup and mustard
(29:11):
too. But anyways, we gotto get we got to get into some
of these these things that are happening, you know, the political world's quiet
right now. You know, alittle sarcasm there, and that's so.
Yeah, there's just nothing going on. No, No, a lot going
on, but nothing really important. No, no, not at all.
Well, first, first off,we talked about this earlier. I want
(29:33):
to get your thoughts on it.Hunter, Biden, have you seen this
where they're talking about he is gettingon and hopping into meetings with his father,
doing some advisory work with his dadin the White House. It's causing
a lot of confusion with White Housestaff. What does that signify to you
if Hunter is getting involved advising hisdad. Well, it's not only Hunter,
(30:00):
it's Jill. And it's a shame. To answer your question point blank,
Clearly, Hunter has a big interestin keeping his father as president.
Jill has a big interest in keepingher husband on, you know, on
the ballot and his president. Butwhat's a shame is that his own family
(30:21):
members are more concerned about their pocketbookand what they can use him for as
opposed to what's really going on withJoe. And and it's I think I
said last Friday regarding the elder abuse, it's a shame. It's a shame.
But clearly Hunter and Jill are goingto make the ultimate decision, and
(30:41):
it's not going to be based uponJoe's ability, it's not going to be
based upon the country. It's goingto be based upon what's in it for
me. And that's scary, Yeah, on so many levels. I mean,
whether it's Hunter, Joe, JillKamala, it's all very scary.
Anybody down the line, Gretchen Whitmer, you know, Gavin Newsom, They're
(31:04):
all very scary. It's it's justnot a good situation, well all the
way around. Yeah, and you'vehad some time to kind of sit back
now and ponder the debate, andof course we all know you were the
former head of the Republican National Partyin West Virginia. What have you heard?
Have you spoken to anybody else theirtheir thoughts on the debates from the
(31:26):
connections that you have, Well, clearly the debate was an absolute win for
Trump. It was an absolute fundraising, uh, basically dream for Trump.
And you know, and most scaryis the amount of money that Joe still
(31:48):
was able to raise. So Ithink, you know, the way politics
works, they probably held a lotof those back pre debate contributions and just
labeled them as post debates. Sothere's just there's so many spins that go
on. But clearly the Republican Partyis very excited about the week that Trump
has had, and most importantly forthe party, because the Supreme Court decisions
(32:12):
are based upon the country, basedupon the Republic, based upon our constitution,
based upon the founding father's thoughts anddebates quite frankly when they were putting
into effects and writing the Constitution. So as far as the Republican Party goes
and the inner circles of the RepublicanParty, everybody is very excited motivated looking
(32:35):
forward to the rn C because nowthe sentencing is not going to transpire on
July eleventh, that has been postponeduntil September. So so many things have
happened in the period of five dayssince we last spoke Friday regarding the debate.
So many things have happened, includingvery key important Supreme Court decisions and
(32:58):
the fallout that has what frankly happened. Yeah, the met I was gonna
say, those are some of thetopics I do want to get into because
we're gonna we got to go toa break here shortly. But you brought
uh brought up the RNC so maybewe should let everybody know what's happening.
Oh yeah, So July fifteenth tothe eighteenth, the Republican National Convention will
(33:22):
take place, and on the eighteenthPresident Trump will actually be nominated as the
president. Everybody looks forward to thenaming of his VP candidate, because I
hear that that will be announced, you know, Wednesday, the night before
the debate or not debate, I'msorry, night before the actual nominations.
(33:42):
And again that's subject to change,no no rush now based upon the fallout
of the debate. That that's thatthere will be a lot of exciting things
going on that week, lots ofgood speakers. It'll be Milwaukee. I
will be there, and I thinkI think iHeart and Sam might be there
as well, reporting that on adaily basis at some events. That is
(34:06):
the plan. Gonna have road tripto the RNC in Milwaukee, going to
be doing the show from there, and of course a lot of social media
posts and everything behind the scenes ofwhat we see and experience at the RNC.
But it's gonna be a really reallygood time, I mean not a
good time, interesting, educational,and I know personally I can't I can't
(34:30):
even begin to imagine the conversations andthe people and the interviews that we're gonna
be able to bring to the listeners. Oh absolutely, because you know,
just walking down, walking down thearena the event, you just see everybody
there. I mean everybody who's who. The Republicans will be there, They're
just gonna be walking about the stadium. There will be You have to be
(34:54):
vetted, so not you have tobe bussed in, you have to have
credentials. You don't have credential, you don't get in. So now,
granted there's also always a few thatflip in and may possibly try to you
know, in million Teckler's right,But I for the most part, I've
been there before and it is verystrict security. Well, we are going
(35:15):
to jump to a quick break thenumber one talk show in the Ohio Valley.
This is the bloom Daddy Experience.Your host bloom Daddy. His goal
inform, entertain, and tick peopleoff. The bloom Daddy Experience on news
Radio eleven seventy WWVA starts now eightoh six. The bloo Daddy Experience Otis
(35:44):
and Sam News Radio eleven seventy WWVA. We're going to continue the conversation with
Eljia McCarter with politics on leash. Before we get to that, I want
to remind everybody we have a giveawaythis hour. We do, and this
giveaway is otis. We have afamily for pack to the Pittsburgh Pirates Philadelphia
Phillies on. I believe July twentyfirst. You get the tickets in there.
(36:06):
I don't. Oh that's right,I do have them in here.
I think it's July twenty first.I can't reach them currently, but yeah,
it's Sunday Family four pack to thePirates. Yeah, what's more summer
time. Get a chance well, and even if you don't like the Pirates,
you might get a chance to seeBryce Harper. Oh that's true.
Isn't he like the highest paid oneof them? I don't know if he's
the highest, No show, Heyhe's the highest now, Oh but he
(36:27):
just recently all they're all paid.Yeah, that's right. Thank you for
chiming in there. That's right,he make okay combined? Yeah, exactly
exactly. So we were talking elgendbefore the break about Biden and everything happening
there. But you mentioned this thisweek, there has been many court cases
(36:52):
that have really that have a hugeimpact. So let's jump into Chevron.
Can you give a breakdown to thelisteners of the impact in the overturn of
this law. Okay, So Chevronwas a case that was decided about the
Supreme Court quite a few years back, and that court case break down very
(37:16):
simply. The Chevron case basically allowedthe regulatory agencies to interpret statutes as far
as enforcements. So if the EPAhad a particular statute that said, you
know, the waterways have to beyou know, clean, and because they
(37:37):
have to be clean, all allwaters are considered waterways, including little creeks,
you know, which is not whichis a dune interpretation? I think
West Virginia challenge that and once. But so the Chevron case allowed the regulatory
agents to make those decisions. Theoverturning of Chevron in the this week basically
(38:01):
says that there has to be ajudicial interpretation of the statute and the regulatory
agencies can't interpret it and stand. So basically, the law that is written
by the Congress or states have tobe interpreted by the judicial branch. It's
(38:23):
a big issue on the separation ofpowers. And by overturning the Chevron case,
it basically gives back to the judiciarythe interpretation of the statute as opposed
to the executive branch to interpret thestatute. I don't know if that makes
sense or not, but that's reallywhat the big issue is. And that
(38:45):
then gives the oil and gas thesignificance of all that is the oil and
gas companies and you can challenge theEPA. If the EPA says, oh,
well, your particular method of cleaningthat gas is not permitted under our
statutes and regulations, the well andgas companies can challenge that. So it
(39:06):
does a lot for the Energy Departmentor at energy companies. So that's kind
of the breakdown of that particular decision. But the separation of powers and how
the decision making of rulings and powersfor the different governmental agencies, it somehow
(39:27):
affects the two hundred and fifty peoplewho have either been found guilty or are
still waiting charges from January sixth Am, I understanding that correct? Well,
yeah, because obviously there are certainyou know statutes that Okay, So you
have three branches of government, theexecutive which enforces the and that's the Department
of Justice. Then you have Congress, who makes the laws and the judiciary,
(39:52):
which interprets the laws. So alot of statutes have been interpreted to
mean that we can prosecute you forthese particular things, all right, and
that's where the Department of Justice hashas gone in and done that. And
under this particular administration, there becomesa blur of a separation of powers,
(40:12):
and the Chevron case makes that clear. So there's a lot of that that
has affected. It has it's complicated, but it's the interpretation of the statutes
by the judiciary that allows the judiciaryto say, Executive Branch, you can't
prosecute just because you interpret it thisway. Overstepping almost yes, oh,
it is absolutely overstepping. Okay.So that's that's the nuts and bolts of
(40:37):
that case. Okay. And thenokay, so I've got to ask you
this, if if Trump wins, when Trump wins in November, yes,
when and his DOJAS takes authority andeverything set in place, do you think
or is it not worth the timeto really dig into what really happened on
(41:00):
January sixth, And also when itcomes to the top secret documents in the
raid on Moro Lago and then alsoon Biden's residence, do you think he
will take the time to bring tolight a lot of behind the scenes of
what happened with those two incidents.Well, I think that, first of
(41:21):
all, that kind of runs intothe immunity case. It was just decided
to a Supreme Court and whether ornot certain acts are official. So there
are two decisions that came out thatwere important, but the Chevron case,
which is the regulatory interpretation by agencies, and the immunity case. The immunity
case was a decision that was determinedwhether or not a president, not Trump,
(41:43):
but a president has immunity for hisofficial acts while in office. And
the big issue is what is anofficial act or what is an unofficial act.
So Congress is the one who investigateswhether or not you know things have
happened. But at some point Ithink it's chances. Your question is you're
(42:04):
worth the time. No, it'snot worth the time because the immunity okay,
basically gives president immunity for acts whilecommitted official acts while committed in office.
And I'm losing my train of phonekind of all over the place.
(42:27):
But you were asking whether it's worthit, No, it's not worth it
to do that. There's so manymore important things that are on tap,
and I think the Biden administration haspoliticized the judicial system, the executive branch,
all for the sake of going afterTrump. So it's not the bigger
(42:52):
picture is it's what the president cando and has done for all the years
that we've been in existence, andwhat presidents will continue to do in the
future. You cannot have a presidentwho is in office worried about making any
decisions because they might be sued bythe political opponent when they are no longer
(43:12):
president, because they will be nolonger president after fix years at most.
So that's the importance of this decision. And I think the left has just
completely missed that they're Trump's arrangements inthat syndrome is on high, high,
high alert, in full force becausethey just can't stand that their efforts to
(43:36):
take Trump off the ballot prosecute him. So he's a convicted felon what's that?
No? No go ahead, nogo ahead? Yeah, yeah,
you know, I mean, theyjust they just they just can't they can't
take it. They can't take it, and it's just it's just it's it's
a shame. Yeah, there's somuch anger and there's so much vitriol behind
(43:59):
towards one man. And I thinkI think that was one thing that that
showed greatly during the debate last weekwas the the presence of the contrasting presence
of those two gentlemen, the thethe authority that one displayed, the childnish
that the other other displayed. Ithink that was well on on TV screens
(44:22):
across the country on Thursday. Andand I think you have to look at
the initial reaction of the Democrats, which parallels the entire country who saw that
debate. YEA. Interestingly, they'respinning it now now that they've had some
(44:43):
time to sleep on it every night, they're spinning it now. And then
they're they're circling those that are inpower within the Downs, are circling the
wagons around Biden to make sure thathe's he's still the nominee. And and
and that's that's what's frightening, isbecause it is as it happening contemporaneous with
the you know, the actions thatwere happening, is everybody was saying on
(45:05):
the TV, the Democrats and thepundits and the media, we're all commenting
on how horrible this was, andthen now now that they all cats out
of the bag. Yeah, nowthey're trying to put it back in,
and it's just it's not gonna workwell in one loud one loud voice that
has been beaten. It is AOC. We're going to get into her comments
and want to get what you haveto say on what she has going after
(45:28):
the Supreme Court. We're gonna jumpto a quick break the bloom Daddy Experience.
Okay, welcome back eight twenty one, The bloom Daddy Experience with Otis
(45:51):
and Sam News Radio eleven seventy WWVAsticking with us, we have elgend Maccardo
Politics unleashed. Welcome back out jinHey there, how are you good?
I'm good. So I'm sure oneof your favorite people Alexandria Okay, okay,
cause I always say her name wrong, AOC quotes crazy. Yes,
(46:16):
that's what messes me up. Yes, yes, So she made the announcement
that she plans to draft articles ofimpeachment after the Supreme Court ruled former President
Donald Trump may have some immunity fromprosecution. She of course is not saying
which justices she is referring to,but that she plans to do this has
(46:42):
this ever been done before? She'stalking about her. The bottom line is
you are not. I mean, just because you disagree with a decision does
not mean you get to impeach. Not to mention the fact that there are
opinions that the majority in this particularcase has actually written and sided with the
(47:08):
liberal side. I mean the nineerdecision in Colorado, for example. How
do you justify impeaching Supreme Court justiceswho ruled with the majority. So do
you do? You do it ona case by case basis. You can't
(47:28):
do it. You can't do it. It's not going to happen. I
mean, the the action to theSupreme Court decisions has basically been that it
is oh gosh that they are megamega justices. They are not mega justices.
They just are not. They areenforcing the Constitution as written by our
(47:52):
founding fathers and preserving the republic thatwe have in the United States. Any
other decision h contrary to what theymade with regard to the immunity case would
just dissolve. Our republic would becomeWe'd become a Marxist society. You know.
That's why we have the separation ofhwards. So that's why we have
(48:15):
justices on the Supreme Court who interpretthey're they're they're really good scholars and who
interpret the Constitution as it should beinterpreted to preserve the country. Well,
and doesn't that's the whole purpose ofit, doesn't It seem sup post debate
that there's a lot of scrambling goingon, and now with these two new
(48:37):
rulings that seem to favor a lotof the conservative values or or the situations
that conservatives are fighting currently, thereseems to be a lot of scrambling on
the Democratic side. Oh no doubt. They are absolutely scrambling that, you
know, they're they're scrambling for theenforcement of their views, of their attacks
(49:04):
on Trump, of their Trump derangementssyndrome. The bottom line is everything that
they have done to try to getrid of Trump has has hasn't worked,
and it's actually backfired all the wayaround. Well, And and when you
when you see AOC and her herstatement about this with the Supreme Court,
(49:28):
it's almost as if it's a toddlerthrowing a temper tantrum. Her response to
this, Oh no doubt, thatis not leadership, not lead, That
is not leadership in any way shapeor form. And the other side of
this is and I asked, otisthis earlier? You know, since the
debate that there's there's all kinds oftheories or talking points or conversations that people
(49:52):
are having about replacing Biden. Andwe spoke about this last week that it
is not as easy as a lotof the talking heads are making it seem.
But if he does step away, this is going to throw the Democratic
Party into an absolute crisis. Couldthis how how far behind could this set
(50:14):
the Democratic Party? Oh? It'sI think the Democratic Party is all is
already set behind. And they aretrying, They're scrambling, and they're they're
not only scrambling, they're panicking becausethey don't know what's next in the playbook.
Because they certainly did not plan foror expect that this would happen.
(50:37):
They they have basically taken the positionthat this is our playbook. We're going
to go after him. Uh,We're going to make him a convicted felon.
And because he's a convicted felon, people are not going to vote for
him. They're going to his credibilitywill be attacked, you know. But
(51:00):
but there their methods or methodology andgoing after him in the judicial system has
just absolutely been horrible. Yeah,it's backfire. It doesn't follow anything with
regard to the Constitution. And that'swhat has happened. The Supreme Court has
basically said, I can't do itthis way. And because of the immunity
(51:22):
decision, the whole New York caseand the evidence that was put on and
they were just throwing but just forgettingon the wall to see what which noodle
would stick, you know, it'snot going to stick. It all comes
out. Because there's there's actually acase it's called Long Fun It's the Supreme
Court case. It basically says thatwhen one particular piece of evidence taints the
(51:45):
rest of the trial, then thewhole thing goes away. That's the part
And the poisonous fruit reference, isn'tit right? It is the poisonous fruit
reference. And I think the poisonousOh, we lost we lost her.
She she went out right there.I just looked over and went out,
light went out. Well, thepoisonous fruit is what she was getting at.
(52:07):
And how that establishes a lot oflegal definitions where any piece of evidence
found from the tree of the poisonousfruit cannot be used within the rest of
the trial. Basically, so ifyou do a search warrant and you go
into a part of a house thatwas not part of the search warrant and
you find anything there, you can'tuse that bit of an evidence. But
(52:30):
we're going to next time I seeElgin, we're gonna be heading to Milwaukee
for the Republican National Convention July fifteenththrough the eighteenth. Of course, we'll
be covering it here on the show, and it'll be all over social media.
We'll be doing all kinds of stuff. We're gonna jump to a quick
break, We're going get it back, talk about some fun forth of July
comedy, and some facts. Thebloom Daddy Experience Here News Radio eleven seventy
(52:52):
WWVA eight thirty six, The BlundaddyExperience Otison Sam News Radio eleven seventy WWVA.
(53:15):
So you know, the real Americandouchebag this fourth of July are the
judges at the Nathan's Hot Dog EatingContest, the guys who have to sit
up close and make sure the contestantsdon't puke. This station presents real American
douchebags. Beer American douchebags. Today, we slute you mister hot dog Eating
(53:39):
Contest Vomit Inspector. Mister hot dogEating Contest Vomit Inspector, dawned in his
protective face shield and gloves. He'sgoing to make sure the winner doesn't hoist
that trophy up unless he keeps thosedoggies down. He's seating rights in spash
(53:59):
watch out let on frank all overyour further and it hopefully wants that shame
reaction. So when you see acompetitor doubled over and their dry heaving is
about to turn into a web row, there's one guy who's dequeuing that wiener's
viewing. He's mister hot dog EatingContest vomited Inspector, a real American douchebag.
(54:22):
Your hot dog eating Contest vomitent inspector. Your parents must be so proud.
Oh I can't. I can't watchit that I no, it turns
my stomach watching them. I rememberone of the first years it was actually
broadcast on ESPN was in the earlytwo thousands, and my kids were super
(54:45):
little, So I say, hey, come here, watches watches and like
my youngest one's laughing like uncontrollably. He thinks it's hysterical. The oldest one
is like that is so gross, and x Yx going, oh my god,
this is disgusting. I thought itwas great. Oh when they I
(55:07):
think, like, I think it'sworn out. It's welcome. Yeah,
as far as like being broadcast, but like the first couple, they were
fun to watch just because you justto watch the people that you're watching it
with see their reactions. Well,it was so ridiculous, Like if you
had never been to Coney Island tosee it firsthand, this was your opportunity
to see it. Right. Butwhen they like soak the buns in the
(55:29):
water and the no, no,but one familiar face isn't going to be
there, and that's Joey Chestnut.Yeah, he's like he signed that,
and who signs with a vegan hotdog company. I mean that's just stupid.
I mean I get the fact thatyou're not going to turn down the
money because you you're a professional eater, so like opportunities to make tons of
(55:50):
money and sponsorships are probably not outthere, no, so I mean if
one comes along, you got tokind of take advantage of it. Well,
he still will be eating on thefourth of July, though, because
he was disinvited, disinvited from fromNathan's you know, basically, hey,
you're you're out, but disinvited,Yes, okay, but he'll be competing
(56:12):
at Fort Bliss in al Paso, and he'll be going up against army soldiers.
Oh, they don't stand a chancenow, And that's what people are
saying, but that others are sayingthat they've been training with mrs about fifteen
thousand soldiers and their families will bein attendance. How many do you think
you could eat at once? Iwas actually in a hot dog eating contest.
(56:32):
Of course you were. I was. I was in between my junior
and senior year in high school, and so everybody was trying to give me
tips on what you're supposed to doand what the you know, now they
dip them in water. But whatI was told in what we did was
we squeezed all the air out ofthe bun. So you just squeezed it,
(56:53):
are you like smashed it like asponge? And if I'm pretty sure
it was, I think I ateeight hot dogs in three minutes. I
didn't need I didn't need a hotdog for three years after that, and
I won by the way I wonthe contest and your prize was I don't
(57:14):
know nothing. I mean I don'tIt was like we were we were like
this camp and it was like ait's called it's called Mountaineer Boy State.
So and what you do is it'sit's a week about government and everything else.
And like the governor comes and talksto you, and then like all
the all the all the big wigsfrom West Virginia politics, like the higher
(57:35):
ups, you know, the Secretaryof state and you know all the big
wigs, and then you have yourown like election, so you can run
for governor and all all the waydown to and I didn't want to do
it, so I ran for likethe last spot, made like one again,
made like one size. What wasyour campaigns? I didn't have one,
didn't I mean, I just putvote for something and that was it.
I had like one or two ofthem up. That was it,
(57:58):
and I was I was ready togo home after day two. That's how
that's that's how much fun I had. Well, and with hot dogs.
Here here's a here's a little trickabout cooking your meat and keeping it from
sticking to your grill. I knewyou were gonna go Okay, So how
do you prevent anything sticking to yourgrill, not just your meat, your
(58:21):
veggies and everything else. You preheatthe grill, cut a potato in half,
and then rub the potato the cutside, so the internal side,
the white side over the grill, great grill grate, and it'll keep your
meat and your veggies from sticking. So there's a little, a little grilling
hack for the fourth or fourth ofJuly picnic. I just normally sprayed it
(58:44):
with like the PAM yeah whatever, olive oil PAM because they made like the
pam's butter flavor. And then there'sthere's one that's like an olive oil flavor.
And so I mean, but Ican see that could burn off very
easily because obviously that's if you sprayedit while your fire's going, then it's
just going to make this big flame. So but I mean, if the
(59:06):
potato sounds cool, I mean, that sounds like a neat idea. Well,
and here's a few rules for theflat wa wait a minute, oh
wait, do you have any cookinghacks like that, like where you can
cheat, you know, or whereyou get a surprise there? I cheat
making chicken noodle soup Okay, Iguess it's not a cheat. I guess
it's more of a short cut, okay, where I go to Respects and
(59:29):
get one of the pre made chickensand then that's how I make my chicken
noodle soup. I don't do thewhole boiling in that hole. I mean,
I know I know people that havedone that. Oh okay, yeah,
I mean I mean that's not likesuper unheard of. It's not really
a hack. I guess. Isthat like the potato time? Yeah,
it's time because basically all you haveto do is put the broth in and
noodles, get them cooked, andthen then your chickens already cooked. You
(59:51):
just had to peel the skin off. It's the quickie way. Yeah,
you have a hack. Really,I mean I was trying to think of
it. I don't really have anyhack per se. But like I mean,
like I said, I like tomake chili, and you know,
so there's there's little things I do, Like sometimes I'll put when when you're
browning the meat, so to giveit just a little bit of extra flavor.
(01:00:15):
You know, you put your pepperyin and your and you know,
a little bit of garlic powder togive maybe some the dry onions and you
put that in and stir it inwith your meat because it just gives a
little more flavor. But I willsometimes I'll put taco seasoning and cook that
into the meat so it still hasthat like it has that little bit of
a flavor. Maybe a little bitof cayenne pepper, you know, just
(01:00:37):
try to doctor the meat up.I call that you're using things. Yeah,
oh, I just had to.Ah, here here's a bit if
you want to do something a littlebit not your traditional barbecue food. We
have a smoker at my house. It's it's a barbecue and smoker in one
smoke a pizza. Huh, smoke. I've heard I've heard somebody else do
(01:01:00):
that put in And one thing Idid one time for a party, instead
of having your hot dogs and hamburgers, we got each person and individual pizza
and then had an entire toppings barso then you could make your own pizza
and then we put it on thesmoker. And that's interesting. Yeah,
it adds a completely different there. So my dad and my stepbrothers are like,
(01:01:22):
well one of them, they're they'rebig bourbon guys. They've they've they've
they've made their drink and put theirbourbon in a smoker to give it.
And like, I'm not a bourbonguy and never have been, and but
they said that it just adds that. It added a little bit of a
flavor to that bourbon. It gaveit like a So if you have if
(01:01:45):
you have a smoker and you wantto make you know, try it.
I mean, yeah, that's yourfavorite bourbon and put it in your smoke.
I don't know how long they didit or anything like that. I
mean, it couldn't be that long. Probably not. No, no,
kind of a neat idea that isdifferent, that is really different. Yeah,
So there's a couple a couple ideasfor you. There you have it.
Hey, we still have one moregiveaway. We forgot to do it.
Well, have forgotten to do it? Well, yeah, but we've
(01:02:07):
got to do it. We've gotto do it. We've got to do
it. So family, four packof tickets to the Pirates Versus July twenty
first, and what color do wewant? I picked the last one?
Uh collor eleven okay six to foureleven seventy. That's one eight hundred and
six two four eleven seventy give usa call your chance to win a family
(01:02:29):
four pack of tickets. July twentyfirst to the Pittsburgh Pirates Versus the Phillies
eight forty five. The bloo DaddyExperience, salmon Otis News Radio, eleven
seventy w w VA. Welcome backto the bloom Daddy Experience, salmon Otis
(01:02:57):
News Radio, eleven seventy w wV. A congratulations to Mark was that
the winner of the Mark Mark oneR Washington Wildi tickets and Tim one or
Pirate tickets. Yeah, congratulations tothose guys. Have fun at those baseball
games, because you know, there'snothing more American than baseball. We all
know that. Here's just a quickstort Otis, you're gonna get a kick
(01:03:20):
out of this since we were youknow, we just did Pirates tickets.
There's an Ohio baseball team called theLake County Captains, basically like the farm
team for the Guardians. Okay, and they have a new, unique,
unique way to watch the games. They along with Rotor Router, have created
toilet row Nice. So what itis. It's a row of high end
(01:03:45):
toilets that are comfortable that are rightbehind home plate homeplate and you can sit
there, watch the game, enjoypersonalized attention from the attendant. The bathroom
attendant named Horatio, who will meetthe attendant's knees all their needs with mouchwash,
(01:04:09):
combs, and gum. So siton the toilet and watch a baseball
game. Listen. If you siton the toilet too long, your leg's
going numb. Hey, it's onlysixteen dollars a piece for a ticket.
That's not bad. So they donot flush, so you're not. So
you're sitting there, like you don'thave to drop your drawers and then just
(01:04:30):
sit there. And I mean that'sa great idea. Like if you could
build like a little wall like allaround you and then you can just drop
your drawers and you have a coupleof beers and boom, and the next
thing you know, you don't evenhave to get up the together to the
bathroom. You're just sitting there.Well, okay, first thing I thought
of when I read this story, and you know, if you sit on
the toilet too long, your legsstart to go numb. I thought of
(01:04:54):
lethal weapon. Remember here, that'sit. Yeah, I'm like, yeah,
you don't want to sit there toolong. But I'll tell you what
it's a heck of a promotion.Heck of a promotion. Sixteen dollars a
ticket. I mean, that's notI think i'd pass well. I have
no desire to sit on a commodeat a baseball game, not the hard
(01:05:17):
ceramics season. Now, if ithad like the old school, remember no,
no, no, if they andif they were colored like the past
colors, the pinks and the babyblues. But remember if the avocado green,
if they were on too long inthat plastic was, it would almost
like dry rot and crack, andif you sat on that crack the wrong
(01:05:41):
way, it would be like theultimate paper cut on your Yep. No,
I don't remember any of that.Everybody's grandma had one of those.

(01:06:30):
hours, ten and some change. Now mine's going to be about eight eight
and a half. Now that's accordingto Google Maps, which means if it's
ten, if it's ten hours andsay forty two minutes, with my driving,
it'll be somewhere under ten. It'llbe this, it'll be over nine.
Well I was told, you know, driving to Milwaukee getting around Chicago
(01:06:54):
is going to be the the that'sgonna be your headache. Yeah, it
depends on what time of the dayyou hit it too. I mean,
if you hit it at morning driveor afternoon drive, then it's going to
be worse, you know. Butif you hit it in the daytime,
it's always worse. Which, bythe way, I'm not vacationing in Milwaukee.
There's a purpose that I'm going togoing to the RNC. I'm going
to the rn C. You guyswon't take me because you guys are afraid
(01:07:15):
that that you I have to sleepin between you two. No, you
have to stay back here and runthe mother ship. You're the brains of
the operation. Well, that's whywe have that's why we have part timers
to come in and do that.Oh yeah, no, I will not.
We will not tell you the realreason why I'm not going, because
then I would not have a jobthat week. We cannot squeeze you in
(01:07:38):
in the bed. Sure you could, a little otis sandwich. No,
God, I'm having visions. God, don't paint that picture. Don't paint
that picture. Back to the fourthof July. I'm gonna let's let's go.
There's a quick turn. Yeah,let's go back. Hey, I
posted on our Facebook page a listof fireworks events up and up and down
(01:08:00):
the river in our Trictita area.So if you're looking for fireworks, I've
got them up there on and swinga dead cat without it one on our
Facebook page. Yes, I can't. I'm not a big fireworks person.
I'm not a big fireworks person atall. Do you do all that you
like? You still have? You? Like? Your all your fingers right
now? Yeah? I still havethem all. No, I mean I
(01:08:23):
can fireworks. I can take herleave. I mean, it all depends.
So we got time to run ourYeah, I hear, maybe you
get to It's only thirty seconds.Oh oh, okay, celebrate the fourth
of July the All American Way withsome products from a few other countries.
It's the fourth of July. Celebratethis all American holiday, the All American
Way. Drink a Budweiser called bya Belgian corporation. Enjoy a hot dog,
(01:08:47):
a German sausage called a Frankfurger ora Hamburger, also named after a
German city light, some fireworks madein China. Wave your miniature American flag
made in Mexico, and celebrate democracya political system from Grace. Happy Fourth
of July, America. It isso true. That is true. That
(01:09:09):
is true. It's so bad.Yeah, unfortunately, you know, I
mean listen, I get the factthat, like you know, you might,
you might enjoy a beverage that's notmade here in the United States.
You know, if you if youdrink Heineken, that's touch, if you
drink Guinness, if you drink Coronaor anything like that. I mean,
people like those beers. But ourflags should be made in this country.
(01:09:30):
I mean, I get the littleones that you can get like at the
dollar store or something like that, but I mean, if you're flying a
flag outside of your house, thenit should be American. Mate. Yeah,
husband when he bought ours, hewas very diligent in making sure he
got it from an America. Ithink you should be. Yeah, like,
I mean, you know, sometimesyou'll see them little ones that you
like, people put them up yourgrave sites and things. Oh yeah,
(01:09:51):
you know, I kind of getthat because maybe maybe there's not an American
company that makes those small flags, and but you know there should be.
But and you know, the ifyou're just at a little event and you're
by your kid a little dollar storeflag, I mean that's different. I
get it. If it's not madein America. Yeah, I don't have
a problem with that because it wasa dollar There's a reason for that,
(01:10:13):
you know. So well, everybody, we're gonna wrap this up. Have
a great Fourth of July, asafe Fourth of July. Keep all your
fingers, keep all your fingers,Take care of your pets. Remember the
dogs hate the fireworks. I'll beback on the fifteenth from Milwaukee, and
