Speaker 1 (00:03):
This is Florida's news that impacts you on the Brian
Mud Show. Yeah, sure enough is Brian Mud. Joel Malkin
with you. And this a story out of the Florida's
Gulf Coast that has now made national news. A woman
scammed out of fifteen thousand dollars by an AI cloning
of her daughter's voice box is Gary Bumgarden.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Charon Brightwell jumped into action after receiving the tearful call
from someone who she was certain was her daughter, saying
she was in big trouble for hitting a pregnant woman
while texting and driving right. Well, convinced the call was authentic,
paid attention when a man took over the call, claiming
to be her daughter's attorney, saying he needed the money

(00:46):
to post the daughter's bond. Gary Baumgarten, Fox News, Gary beware,
that is Gary.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I mean, we kind of intellectually knew this kind of
stuff could happen, but now it's happening, so be mindful.
Florida's Supreme Court appell at Florida's current congressional map, largely
drawn by Governor de Santis, ending the multi year, multi
cycle legal battle has played out in both the federal
and state courts. The largest point of contention was a
previously majority black district drawn between Tallahassee and Jacksonville. The

(01:15):
court found with the DeSantis administration that the previously Jerrymanner
district violated the Constitution's equal protection guarantees. US Attorney General
Pam BONDI will release Grand Jerry testimony in the Jeffrey
Epstein case today, or should I say, at least she
says she's going to. Amid the recent backlash to the
DOJ's claims that no client lists existed in that Epstein's

(01:36):
death was indeed a suicide, Martin County School District will
maintain school resource officers for the upcoming school year. The
announcement Thursday came amid concerns that a tentative agreement reach
with the Sheriff's office in May had not been finalized.
I'll just add that there was never an option here
because it is state law mandating that it takes place.
It's just the matter of the details. But it was
always going to happen. Two Brazilian illegal aliens, one wanted

(01:59):
by Pole for murder, the other operating an illegal business
within the United States. We're arrested in Orlando by FDLA
and a joint operation with the Homeland Security Task Force.
The duo, a husband and wife team, noted as having
violated the terms of their non immigrant visus. It'll be hot, humid,
chance of reign and thunderstorms throughout today. Highs near ninety,

(02:23):
which is maybe a touch warmer than usual for this day.
Similar weather expected into and really through the weekend, although drier,
dryer into the weekend. In part, we have some Saharan
dust that has moved into the Golf. We have another
plume working across the Central Atlantic and Caribbean. It looks
like the bulk of it is going to stay south
of Florida and stay towards the golf. But all that

(02:46):
is helpful for the Hurricane Center seven day tropical weather outlook,
which is absolutely clear at this point. We'll take that
gas price has dropped to penny per gallon yesterday. Average
price for regular unleaded three thirteen in the Palm Beaches
three twenty nine, Martin three eighteen, Indian River County three
fourteen per gaunt.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
All right, let's get a look at just some of
the national headlines. Brian, you covered some of the stuff
I would have had. But President Trump does have chronic
venus insufficiency. That's a mild condition common in people over
the age of seventy. President underwent vascular testing after experiencing
swelling in his legs. According to White House Press Secretary
Caroline Levitt, White House confirming it's looking to reopen Alcatraz

(03:26):
talk about the real thing, the real Alcatraz as a
federal president San Francisco. Levitt said it's been an idea
of Trump's for a while, and if reopened, it would
be under the purview of the Bureau of Prisons. And
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Getting the Acts at
CBS Network says his final show will be in May
of twenty six. He's hosted the show since twenty fifteen.
Said he just learned the news Wednesday Night. Network says

(03:46):
it's purely a financial decision. Let me break out my violin.
All right, those are your headlines.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I was thinking out loud, if you were to do
like a new like Survivor, you know it kind of
played out, right, got to come up with new angles.
You know, you could do it at Alcatraz and Alligator
Alcatraz and see which works out. Better, you know
