Speaker 1 (00:04):
Two sides to the story.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
There's only one side to the facts. Welcome to the
Brian Mud Show and thank you for listening, and I'm
protecting the pump Beach. Distribute to those who serve and sacrifice.
This is the weekly feature design to recognize those who
paid the ultimate price in service, but also the service
a reminder of what our police do risk every day
they put in a badge, They leave their families to

(00:26):
go to work, never knowing what the heck might happen next,
and far too often it's been something that's been pretty bad.
Last year, total three hundred and forty seven law enforcement
professionals shot in the line of duty. That was a
two percent increase. Here every year ninety heroes lost in
the line of duty. Last year eight in Florida. We've
now lost twenty six heroes in the line of duty
this year, two in Florida. And we've lost this hero

(00:48):
since the previous update. In Mississippi, Deputy Michael Jimmerson murdered
while responding to a disturbance call at an apartment complex.
Upon arriving on the scene, the suspect flash firing on
law enforcement, striking and killing Michael. These suspects killed with
return fire. Michael survived by his wife and two children.

(01:11):
And as we reflect on those we've lost, please remember
the families of our fallen as well. The average age
thirty eight, average two of duty eight years. In an
additional losing twenty six law enforcement professionals in the line
of duty. So far this year, there are fourteen widows
and twenty three children who've lost a parent. This is
your weekly reminder to back the badge and spread the word,

(01:32):
because Lord knows they need us every bit as much
as we need them.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It's gonna look at some national headlines. President Trump says
Iran is doing a very poor job of allowing oil
to go through the straight of horror moves. He made
the common untruth social yesterday, writing that is not the
agreement we have.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Finally, by the way, just on that note, as I
was sharing with you at the onset of this hour,
the latest information about what the insurance costs is to
get through the strait, and along with some of the
finer points, the average toll over the past day it's
been charged. We have data on this now has been
a shade over one million dollars. So that's basically the
palm greasing that the IRGC is required to get through

(02:11):
is just over a million bucks per ship.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin and Yahoo directing his cabinet
to negotiate with the Lebanese government, conversations expected to focus
on disarming Hezbella and establishing peace between the two nations.
You have Artemis two, the crew set to return to
Earth today from its trip around the moon. Four astronauts
scheduled to splash down at eight oh seven pm Eastern
and off the coast of San Diego. And the Justice
