Speaker 1 (00:04):
Two sides to the story. There's only one side to
the facts. Welcome to the Brian Mud Show and thank
you for listening. Well, hey there, how you doing. How
you doing? Joel?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Feel better today? Get a little better. We'll see how
I feel in a couple of weeks. But yeah, a
little better, okay. So immediately you go to skepticism.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
That was see how I feel in a couple of weeks,
because you think that this isn't going to hold.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
When I went to bed, there were still missiles going
into Israel, so I don't know what's happened to what's
happened since then.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
What's going to happen is that the financial markets have
only improved significantly. We are set for the greatest accline
in the price of oil since COVID hit. We are
set for the biggest increase in the stock market this year.
What you're set for is unprecedented peace in the Middle East.
And that is the story because Donald J. Trump as
President of the United States, and there's not another damn

(01:06):
person on this planet that could do what this man
can do. That's the story today.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Oh really, okay, well then I feel a lot better?

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Do you You should? You should because if you take
a look at the framework for which the ceasefire deal
was agreed to, it was entirely on our terms. At
this point, what would we want. We've already taken out.

(01:35):
We've already taken out three levels of the regime in Iran.
We've taken out their military capabilities, we've taken out their
nuclear plans used for enrichment. What else do we want? There?
Your reference to this trade, right, jel, Yes, that's it.

(01:56):
What did we get here?

Speaker 2 (01:58):
An agreement to reopen it? They officially reopened it.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
A strait is open, Okay. And so, as Trump said
the day before, we won, people just then think it
felt like we had won, but we had won. So

(02:26):
let's take you through this my top stories today. Fox's
Kristin Goodwin will lead this off.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
President Trump announcing a ceasefire deal with Iran shortly before
his Tuesday night deadline for Iran to agree to reopen
the straight of her moves or face the death of
a whole civilization, the president, explaining in a post on
truth Social he agreed to suspend the bombing and attack
for a period of two weeks on the condition the
waterway is reopened. Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs confirming to

(02:55):
Ron's acceptance of the deal proposed by Pakistan, noting there
would be safe passage through the strait of her moves
for a period of two weeks. President Trump went on
to say Iran proposed a workable ten point piece plan
that could help end the war, explaining the two week
period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Right, and so you had the ten points that came back,
we had fifteen. They came back with ten, Trump said,
framework works. Three of those agreed to immediately the single
most important to us, immediately getting that straight open. Next
layer to this with Foxes Jonathan Hunt and Tel Aviv.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
President Trump, talking about the cease fire, said, quote, the
reason for doing so is that we have already met
and exceeded all military objectives and up very far along
with a definitive agreement concerning long term peace with Iran
and peace in the Middle East. We received a ten
point proposal from Iran and believe it is a workable

(03:56):
basis on which to negotiate. Iran's foreign minister said quote,
if attacks against Iran are halted, our powerful armed forces
will cease their defensive operations for a period of two weeks.
Safe passage through the strait of hole moves will be
possible via coordination with Iran's armed forces and with due

(04:17):
consideration of technical limitations.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
And then one more piece to the overall conversation here
delivered by Mike Tobin, also in Tel Aviv.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
As soon as we got to cease fire, we got
a bunch of missile fire. Wasn't five minutes from the
Truth social post to the point where the phone started
alerting that missiles had launched in from Iran. The first
of the missiles was intercepted and the shrapnel landed outside
of Jerusalem, not causing any problems. But we saw here
in Tel Aviv with these cluster bombs, they break up
and look a bit like a Fourth of July firework

(04:53):
and usually has one bright point that comes streaking down
to earth with the bomblets themselves. They shine bright when
they first break up, then they get dark as they
cool off, and then they explode when they hit the ground.
And it looks like I'm getting an alert for one
more missile. So I'm counting us six missiles and looks
like one more. So we'll go up to US seven
as the phone is telling me that more missiles, at

(05:14):
least one more missile is inbound.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
And that ended up being the end of it. There
was one more missile a total of seven, and a
couple of different things that I'll point to. So, Joel,
you're taking a look at a situation here where I
don't know, there are ceasfire and then there are missiles,
and so you're used to things being very clean. You're
used to here's a hurricane warning from the National Hurricane Center,

(05:42):
and here's what we do with the hurricane warning, and
here's what the state issues as advisories after you know,
the National Weather Service has done their thing. It's always
everything is regiment, it's on a procedure. It's said that
this is the conveyor belt of information in the flow
of things. War doesn't work that way, not ever and
not now. And so a couple things about it that

(06:03):
are instructive. The first is when you had these missiles
logged over there. One of the big questions over the
past few weeks has been, okay, the people aren't negotiating
with which we still don't know who they are. Again
Trump administration obviously does, but we have no clue. The
only way that the Trump administration even knew that they
were the people they needed to be negotiating with was

(06:24):
because they came up with this idea, Hey, we're going
to send two tankers through this rave Hormos per day,
and as long as those things are going through and
they're not being attacked, we know that you are the
people who can get things done around here. And so
that continued for all ten days. You did get those
twenty oil tankers through after the initial ten got through. Okay,

(06:44):
So then you get into the situation with the seas
to fire, the ceasefire hits. Now, how do you think
communications are between whoever these people are in Tehran, the
mellows that are running things, and say people out in
the field, especially in light of the fact that the

(07:06):
main headquarters for the Iran Revolutionary Guard no longer exists.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Okay, Well, when you put it that way, I guess
that communication is not so great on the ground and enteral.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
That's one, we have no idea of what the line
of communications looks like to all of the Revolutionary Guard
people out there manning things. That's one. Two, Even in
the event that communication is still pretty good, between whoever
these people are in Tehran and literally absolutely everybody that

(07:39):
has weaponry in front them with the Revolutionary Guard. Can
there be latency in that message getting to them. Yeah,
there're gonna be some latency there. Three in the event
that you do have the message that gets there, regardless
of if there's latency or not, is it possible that
you could have some Iran Revolutionary Regard members that are like,

(08:02):
screw this, I don't believe in it, So I'm going
to go ahead and fire some stuff off. Yeah, that's
possible now as unlikely those people are going to be
left in a position to continue to do that, given
that the government said that it's it's going to be
a ceasefire now. And what I will point to, because
I'm an observer of these things, I all need to
walk you back no further than just what happened with Hamas.

(08:23):
You will remember that for the better part of the
first week during the whole ceasefire with Hamas in Israel,
you had some back and forth stuff still going on
because you had some disparate Hamas members. They're like, we're
not going to give in. So I've got an opportunity.
I'm going to do something, and every turn media was
trying to say, oh my gosh, and so this means

(08:45):
that it's not really going to hold and everything, and
then obviously edited up holding we have peace over there,
And I said it a long time ago, I will
say it again. People are like, oh my gosh, it's
a run. If you can negotiate peace between Hamas and Israel,
you can negotiate peace and get a seas fired a
stick between Iran, the United States and Israel, especially when

(09:07):
the rest of the Middle East is already on board
with making that happen. So the war is never clean.
War is never timely the way that we are used to.
Here's the warning from the National Hurricane Center. Here's what
the status said about it. Here's what we do, because
this is what we do with those alerts. This is war.
And so that it actually was only seven missiles that

(09:32):
went out as what might have been kind of like
the final hurrah by some of these people in the field,
is unbelievable. That's why if you take a look at
the financial markets this morning, they're actually better off than
they were in the initial aftermath yesterday when the whole
seas fire deals announced. Because you do always have the
question mark about okay, is it going to stick or

(09:52):
did they just lie to us? And the answer is
it's gone better than possibly could have been expected up
to the this point. That is the real answer. And
then about that whole piece, as we take a look
at what's going on in the financial markets, this is
Fox's Lucas Tomlinson.

Speaker 6 (10:09):
Oil is dropped blow one hundred dollars a barrel in
the news of this two weeks seas far contingent upon
Iran opening up the straight ofform moves for the next
two weeks. So the President Trump demanded with his eight
pm deadline where he would unleash destructure in Iran's power
plants and bridges. He warned, any deal must include the
opening that strategic waterway.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
We have to have a deal that's acceptable to me,
and part of that deal is going.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
To be we want free traffic of oil and everything.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Now, Israel will likely halt its attacks on Iran for
the next two weeks as well. Before the war began,
over one hundred vessels used to pass through the straight
Ofform moves each day. That number went down to an
average of just three a day last month.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
So that was the big piece. The next big piece
we haven't talked about. Oh, by the way, Israel, right,
because this is all about Trump negotiating his deal. And
you did hear some initial reporting that Israel really didn't
want this to stop there because they want to keep
going until like nothing is left militarily of Iran, and

(11:07):
they're on board. They had to get on board. Trump
got Nan, Yahoo on board. And the one thing that
is still going on over there, so you have hez
Bla that hangs out in Lebanon. And as was mentioned
pretty quickly by the IDF, by Prime Minister Benjamin and Yahoo,
the ceasfire does not include Lebanon. So now Israel is

(11:30):
turning its attention to wipe it out, hes blaw out
of Lebanon, so that goes on there. Again, all of
the pieces have fallen into place better than we possibly
could have imagined. And once again the art of the
deal where everybody's like, oh my gosh, civilization, He's mentally

(11:51):
ill all these other things as only Trump can do.
One more hear about prices.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
The ceasefire news was immediately embraced by markets. Oil price
is plunged by almost fifteen percent after the President held
off on his threat to bomba Ran into the Stone
Age Tuesday night, but the price has still remained well
above what they were at the start of the conflict.
The outcome of the US and Ran peace talks are
far from certain. Negotiations are scheduled to begin Friday in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
Okay, there you go, So a little bit of the
nervous nellything. They're they're far first. That's accurate. So there
you go. Chris to Mayo, is your head, Schel. You
can go ahead and ride with Chris and be scared
about this thing. It's going to get done. It's gonna
get done. They're not going to go back at this point.
And because we have what we need, So I mean,

(12:43):
the whole thing is, you're not gonna do nukes and
otherwise status quos. It is. This was the road map
for hamas I laid this out what two three weeks ago,
whenever the whole fifteen point plan was and a piece together,
the pieces from it pointed to the ones and where
where we need to be. So I have a high

(13:06):
degree of confidence and particularly the financial markets real time
we see that oil is off eighteen dollars per barrel
at ninety five stock market futures, doubt futures up eleven
hundred and thirty points, got Nazak futures up about eight
hundred and fifty right now, and so you are seeing
that hedge in the energy market. Still remind you that

(13:29):
oil was at sixty five dollars per barrel prior to
the onset of the war. So you do still have
a lot of nervousness in there about this being permanent,
which means that should things continue on track and should
this be worked out permanently, what you're going to see
today will just be the start of a big round

(13:49):
of positivity that is in store in the coming weeks.
The President his note came out just after midnight. Just
after midnight, he said, a big day for world peace.
Iran wants it to happen. They've had enough. Likewise, so

(14:11):
is everyone else. The United States of America will be
helping with the traffic build up in the Strait of Hormouse.
So that's also a pretty significant thing that we're going
to be working alongside the Iranians in the strait. There
will be lots of positive action, big money will be made.
Iran can start the reconstruction process. We'll be loading up

(14:32):
with supplies of all kinds and just hanging around. And
that was a you know hang in you know, with
the apostrophe, not hanging and just hanging around in order
to make sure that everything goes well. I feel confident
that it will just like we are experiencing in the US,
this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East.

(14:58):
President Donald J. Trump. Different than the civilization message just
a little, or the Stone Ages message as well as
Chris Demana. This one thing little he referenced Stone Age.
It would be Stone Ages. It was going to be
so significant that it would be like not just one
Stone Age, but multiple even Hey, one more note as

(15:21):
we take a look at what some of the top
stories out there, an important election one for Republicans in Georgia.
Here's Kevin Eretzki.

Speaker 8 (15:31):
The GOP's Clayton Fuller has won a special runoff election,
beating Democrats Sean Harris to represent Northwest Georgia's fourteenth congressional
district in the House of Representatives. Fuller will finish the
term that Marjorie Taylor Green was elected to in November
of twenty twenty four. The one time fierce loyalist of
President Trump, resigned in January after criticizing the handling of

(15:54):
the Epstein files, Fuller saying earlier today, he fully supports
the president.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
As a Trump needs a fight, armed Capital Hill to
move his agenda hoard.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
Obviously, you know the numbers in the House are very narrow.

Speaker 8 (16:06):
His win gives the Republicans a two hundred and eighteen
two hundred and fourteen advantage in the House.
