Friday in June every year is NationalDonut Day. I've had a lot of

people over the years when I broughtthis up, asked me about why not
not necessarily just National Donut Day itself, but you know, why are some
days designated National whatever Day, NationalTomato Soup Day, and the national be
nice to your neighbor Day, Nationaltake your dog to work Day, you

know those kinds of things. Whocomes up with that? And the answer
is, I don't know, otherthan maybe there's a registry for such things
and they say, hey, Ilike to register cream puffs. Okay,
National cream Puff Day August sixteenth isavailable. Do you want that one?
You know? Who makes the decisionon that? I don't know, and

I don't think it really matters much. But today is National Donut Day.
I remembered this from last year thatit's the first Friday in the month of
June. So that's why today,June seventh, is National Donut Day.
So it floats. It's not acalendar marked day. It's it's it's like

some might say it's like Easter oryou know, something like that. It's
it's it's it's a floating day onthat It's not a date on the calendar.
It's a day, which brings meto the annual question of your favorite
donut, your favorite donut place.Now, you can offer that up on

if I am up in the roundRock area, I will make the trip

very good, my my. Ilike things that are cream filled. Okay,

Creamfield candies, Creamfield pies, youknow, banana cream pie, things
like that. I like Creamfield donuts. I mean is it always makes me
think of did you ever see themovie The Lion King, the animated Okay,
remember when they're when when Simba likeleaves in the out of fear and
disgrace and humiliation. He leaves thelions and he goes and he's living in

the jungle with Timone and Pumba,and they say, I like the little
cream field once where they eat thethe caterpillars. I always think about that
afterwards. They like a good There'sdifferent ways to describe Duncan calls him Boston
Cream uh and and uh, Ithink Krispy Kreme just calls him chocolate ice

cream Field whatever someone's with the chocolateicing and the and the custard cream in
the middle. That's probably my favorite. I really like those. I do
like a good blueberry cake donut though, and it's and and if you're just
getting regular glazed done it obviously,rolling off the rack hot at Krispy Kream
is great, and the fresh onesat Round Rock Donuts are fabulous. Uh.

Shipley Donuts has uh this one donutI like called the Bull's Eye,
which is like white cream in themiddle and as a little chocolate bean on
the top of a little whipperm thingthere on the top. So I have
a weakness for that as well.So anyway, if you have a favorite

and Boston shudwy. They were thebest team in the league last night,

Mavericks, in game one. Gametwo of courses coming up on Saturday or
Sunday Sunday. It's coming up onSunday and game two, Game one of
the Stanley Cup Finals is tomorrow nightbetween Edmonton and Florida. But there was
anyway there was. It was prettysound. And even though when it got

cut from twenty eight to eight,when the Mavericks made their big push,
Luka Anchich had a lot to dowith that. The Celtics had the ready
response. So we'll get to that. We'll talk some about that. Also,
this is NCAA Baseball Super Regional Gameweekend. There's one game underway.
How much of a game right now? Florida State is pounding Yukon in game

one of their super Regional series inTallahassee. But we'll keep you up there
and we'll kind of get an overviewof what to expect of these super regions.

way through this final season Long WornNetwork, and Keith worked the regional in

Norman, Oklahoma last week. He'salso gonna work the Little League World Series
regional games in Waco, the Southwestregion. He does that every year,
so he'll be working that. Keithwill visit with us in the three o'clock
hour and we'll talk about these superregionals who he likes, expects when,
so on and so forth, sowe'll get his we'll get his thoughts on

the recap of the end of TexasLong Horn softball season. You know,
great, great year perhaps and waslistening to Andrew Haynes last night on the
call. In the end, maybethe most successful season in Longhorn softball history.

In fact, that's say it probablywas a matched the team record for
wins with fifty five. They reachedthe National Championship Series for the second time
in three years, but unfortunately,for the second time in three years,
they were swept by Oklahoma. Theyhowever, earned their first ever overall number
one national season. They won theBig Twelve conference regular season title in their

final season the Big Twelve. Sothere were a lot of great things out
of the season. It did,unfortunately end in disappointing fashion with the two
losses that they had to Oklahoma.We'll hear from Mike White, We'll hear
from Long one players that's coming upas well, So we'll have a recap
of all of that as well.So Cam Parker will join us coming up,
and we've got college baseball to getto NBA Finals. We'll find out

from Cam how things are rolling inOklahoma City. He went to the Burger
place that we suggested to him.I was gonna check in on that idea
