Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the crazy or as I like to call it,
every single day of our lives. You're not wrong, Chris
and Laurie. We host the morning show I Shout into
a Country Q one O two in Winchester, Virginia. Glad
you're along with us. We just have three random crazy
stories that have crossed our desk over the week or two.
So here's one of them that I absolutely love. The
latest craze among Japanese teenagers. Teenagers. Look, as long as

(00:25):
there have been teenagers, they've tried to find ways to
create their own culture, rebel against their parents. You kids
with your long hair and your rock and roll comes
to mind. Oh yeah, So the latest trendrie it's growing
among young people over in China who are getting tattoos
on their teeth. Oh really, not their skin, their teeth.

(00:46):
So of course, these new tooth tattoos are not actually
tattooed directly on their teeth. Okay, well that's good, but
they are designed. They're designs that are printed on crowns
using three D technology that go over are the real teeth.
Crowns are not cheap, No, they are not, and people
like them because they could be changed easily by replacing

(01:08):
the crown. Maybe it's cheap over in China. Okay, this
is true. Maybe they did not cheap over here anyway,
So you want to know what they're getting tattooed on
their teeth. Absolutely, they're getting things like their partner's initials
and lucky numbers and phrases like making money. What would
you do? Look, you've got a teenager in your house. Now,

(01:29):
what would you do if that came home with tattoos
on his teeth? Go to your room. You're not coming out.
But mom, I got mom on my teeth. Look one, two,
three teeth, I'll say, mom, im no, I mean, at
least they're not permanent. Hid them before your father knocks
them out your head? Right, all right? So I just

(01:51):
thought that was completely nuts. And now we will move
on to our next thing, which is this. We missed this,
and I feel terrible that we missed such a big event.
But this happened up in Whitehall, New York. White Hall,
New York, not the biggest place in the world, but
they call themselves the Bigfoot Capital of the Northeast, and

(02:13):
they had their annual Sasquatch festivals. So this sounds so
fun to me. It's crazy, it's nutty. They are just
they took it and ran with it. Right. So tons
of people, thousands of people, Bigfoot enthusiasts they call themselves,
flocked up to Whitehall, New York over the weekend, and

(02:35):
this year's event featured everything from researchers giving lectures about Bigfoot. Really,
I wouldn't sit through a lecture about anything but about
a fake thing. Really, So they had these going on
live music, live music, What is that sound? Where are you? Bigfoot? Love,

(03:01):
big shoes, big socks, bigfoot? But I don't know. And
then they then they had about one hundred and fifty vendors. Wow,
that's a lot, it really is. Oh and they had
this sasquatch called in contest too. I honestly think I
want to take a week's vacation just to be up
there for that. I have no idea what that was.
What does this sound like? I'm gonna have to google this.

(03:24):
I'm picturing yodeling of some sort, but I don't know. Anyway,
notably not in attendance this year, Bigfoot. They throw him
a party. I don't know why he doesn't show up, right, rude,
it's very he's very shy. As it turns out, then
there's this LORI So Amazon, they've got their fingers in

(03:44):
a lot of pies if you haven't noticed. But they're
now going to make it easier to find lost pets.
They say they've launched this new four K ring security
camera and in it is a new kind of AI,
a new AI feature, and they call that features Search Party.
So here's how it works. When somebody loses a dog
in the neighborhood and they report it missing up to

(04:08):
the app, you know, they upload a picture of the
dog of the app, neighbors who have those new ring
cameras with the new AI in them can launch a
search party. The app gets the photo of the missing dog,
and then your neighbors ring doorbells use AI to search
for possible matches in the area. Okay, Okay, that's pretty cool.

(04:29):
It is. Yeah, and then I started thinking it would
be great if you lost your dog, lost your cap.
What happens when somebody says, I think I'll upload a
picture of Carol. Where's Carol? I want to know where
Carol is at all times. Seriously, Wow, the dog Carol's
the neighbor And what I mean right, that is weird.

(04:51):
It's super creepy. Maybe there's something in the AI that
will only let it do fuzzy things. That would be yeah,
but maybe it's a humid day. Carol looks like him.
I mean, I'm okay, that's enough. We have a lot
of fun hanging out with you. We really have a
lot of fun on our show. Join us for our
morning show every weekday morning, and that starts at five

(05:14):
am goes till ten o'clock right here on Shenandoah Country
Q one O two. Hope you'll join us and we'll
see you next time.
