Twenty five years ago, I was in a car accident
that broke my jaw and caused injury to the right
frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, the focus
was on the visible damage. The deeper injury, the one

inside my skull, went unnoticed. Comprehensive scans were not done,
neurological exams were limited, and ultimately he says that he
was properly diagnosed with a bipolar type one diagnosis in
twenty twenty three.

difficult aspects of having bipolar type one are the disconnected moments,
many of which I can't recall.

Twenty five years ago, I was in a car accident
that broke my jaw and caused injury to the right
frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, the focus
was on the visible damage. The deeper injury, the one

inside my skull, went unnoticed. Comprehensive scans were not done,
neurological exams were limited, and ultimately he says that he
was properly diagnosed with a bipolar type one diagnosis in
twenty twenty three.

Now he goes on to say how scary it.

Can be being bipolar, and how quickly.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
You lose touch with reality.

Things got worse the longer he ignored the problem, and

he basically, and this is where his apology comes in.
He said, in that fracture state, I gravitated to the
more most destructive symbol. I could find, the Swasaga and
even sold tea shirts bearing it. One of the most
difficult aspects of having bipolar type one are the disconnected moments,
many of which I can't recall.
