going on. Welcome to the studio, Welcome to the show man.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
How are you?

Speaker 7 (05:03):
Thank you guys? Than I'm doing Gray, and I'm doing Gray.
Excited to be back in LA for for fun Fest.
This is an exact exciting week for us as a player,
not just because we see a lot of each other
already and getting ready for another year, but uh, seeing
the fans after winning in Canada, it wasn't it wasn't

(05:25):
easy just to just to come back and go straight
to the parade with all the people. But tomorrow is
going to be a special because we're going to be
getting together again with all the fan base, all the
people that all the people that support us throughout the
whole year. I think this week is really important because
he kicked off what can be a season that we started,
uh chase for the.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Three p which is which is our goal.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
And I feel like everybody should be excited about that.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
That is so good to hear. Man. Thank you for
saying that.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
As fans, you know, we're excited to hear that, and
we're very excited to hear that you're coming back as well, my.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Guy, Yeah, exactly, That's That's something that that I wanted
to do. I can't really go to another team after
what happened in the last two years.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
It's like, why would you? Why would you? How good you?

Speaker 9 (06:09):
Bro?

Speaker 7 (06:09):
This is this is home for me in baseball. I
feel like this organization gave me the chance to play
in the big leagues for the first time twelve years ago.
Now I'm getting to say that that I'm going to
retire as a Dodger in one of the best eras
of baseball, especially at the Golden era of Dodgers baseball.
I feel like, I mean, there's a lot of good

(06:30):
players really these franchises being here forever and being an
a class organization for a long time. But I think
this era, a lot of people have to appreciate that
the team that we're putting together and we're getting better
every single year. So really proud and excited that I'm
part of this team.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
That's right.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
You know, we got a lot of people would say,
Dodger friends listening that we wouldn't have a ring without you,
and that play that you made it that was a
major play that led to us having that ring. Man,
How does it make you feel to have that in
your heart knowing that man, I contributed majorly to having
the back to.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Back It's amazing.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
It's the best feeling in the world because I think
I did my part, you know, at the end of
the day, obviously that the moment came to me and
kind of like I took advantage of the opportunity to
play Game six and Game seven. Not a lot of
people can say that they get the chance to play
in a War Series game, but playing Game six with
you back against the wall, yeah, and then going to

(07:28):
Game seven and kind of be a factor to win
the game and bring back a championship to Los Angeles.
I feel like we brought this big city like really together.
I felt like those two or three days, everybody was
kind of connected, pulling for the same thing, which is
for us to win two games in Toronto with did

(07:49):
it in front of a lot of fans from a
different country in a really long season. I think a
lot of people in LA should be proud of what
we did in twenty twenty five. But here we are
for getting ready for another year. That's that's what is
important now.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
And Miguel, can you pray for my son? Nothing's wrong,
but he was really stressed out.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
He was crying. Bro, you couldn't watch it, and he
was just he was so nervous. But she pulled it off. Brother,
Thank you. Yeah, he was, he was good. He was good.

Speaker 7 (08:19):
Well, your son was crying and gainst seven, my son
was crying since Game five when we lost. When we
lost Game five in l A, I was about to
jump on the plane. My family was gonna fly the
next day. But when I come up to my family,
my kid was was crying already, and he said, we're
gonna lose that and we're not gonna win the World Series.
And I say, wait, chill, We're gonna we have two

(08:42):
more games exactly. We're gonna do everything is possible to
bring it back. And I mean, we did it.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
It was always right, that is always right. Congratulations.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
I mean the legendary stuff, legendary stuff, legend yeah.

have our support.

support the Dodgers and just me, but every everybody. I
think we we fit off of that energy that you
guys bring every single day from here, from work and
when you guys go to the stadium, all defens is.
It is a really exciting exciting time right now because
all the players are here. Fun Fance kicked off what

(09:23):
is going to be a great sprint training for us.
A lot of players are gonna go to the love UBC.

some work to do.
