Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Cruise Show After Hours podcast. Jeff Garcia was that.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Not too much. Man, Cruise is out sick, yep, which
is a bummer. Dude, sounds like he probably has the
flu or something. Yeah, got it in Vegas. He was
out at a hockey tournament.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
His kids be passing everything around. Now, man, it's insane
because Jackie and I just had like a stomach virus
from my niece and nephew. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Well we think it was either from your niece or
nephew or food poisoning. So I don't know which one
it is.

Speaker 5 (00:24):
Oh, man, I think Cruise has what he got going on.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Yeah. Do you think it was food poisoning or do
you think it was the kids?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Well, here's the thing. We think it's food. For I
think it's food poisoning because.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
We had gotten sick after we had gotten McDonald's on
the road coming back from the Bay. But then three
other people who were with us that weekend also said
that they were throwing up all day the same day
we were. So we were just like, okay, well maybe
we all ate the same food except for the McDonald's.

(00:58):
So I was just like, okay, well, maybe it was
something that we ate over there. Yeah yeah, and then
or it was one.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Of Nico's nieces and nephew who.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Were it, but we didn't really get into like contact
with them, Like yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
That was kind of a weak. I had to be food, bro,
Yeah it probably was, man.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I mean then again, my sister's the one who cooked
all the food for her birthday.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
So I don't know, man, I don't want to blame nobody.
I don't want to get in trouble.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
No, yeah, because his sister is a really great cook.
She has a really great cook.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
I just I don't know, maybe just something I know, right,
but I don't know, maybe just I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
It was just some weird bug that we.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
That happened a year ago at my cousin's wedding, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Oh yeah I remember that.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Seen people got sick, maybe even more really Yeah, everybody
was awful, Bro, it was just the worst.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
That's an epidemic then, man, yeah that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Wow. And then we don't I mean I think it
was like the flu flu, but who knows how you
know what happened, but yeah, it's gonna happen. Yeah, there's
a great line on TV, like uh in the New
tim Allen Show and what's that name? She's so good
two broke girls and all that stuff. She's really great. Yeah,
they have a new TV show and they walk into

(02:08):
this room full of kids.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
And hat something no, Cat Dennings, Cat Dennings.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
She walked. They walk into the room and it's a
bunch of kids, and Tim Allen goes, we're not leaving
this place without a cold. To your point, if you're
around kids, be ready for it. Man. You guys sent
out to save the date for the wedding this this week. Yes, yeah,
which was really cool. My wife meant to that to
you when you walked in and we were on FaceTime
and then I see everybody's posts. Yeah, does this like

(02:35):
make it real for you guys? Now?

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Now I think it's making it Yeah, you know it's
It's definitely felt real for me. And I think what's
crazy is that like over the past week, because you know,
I'm gonna be doing stuff in a couple of months
that's going to keep me away from home, but like
over the past week alone, like we've had to like
figure out the photographer, the videographer of the flowers and
also pass off.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
To save the dates.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
So it feels like it's kind of ramping up now
just in this week alone.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, it feels like there's a lot more that still
needs to be done or just like finalized, I guess
in the way and with like this say the dates,
Like giving our families to say the dates is one
thing I feel because it's like, okay, well they're going
to have to be there anyway, like you get me.
But I feel like giving it to like our extended
like friends and family is like, oh, like this is

(03:22):
like this is insane, Like this is this is that
actual event that.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
We're The whole part is also just seeing like everyone's
like genuine excitement over it, you know, not to say
like my family or her family wasn't excited for it,
But it's kind of different when it's like not your family, right, yeah,
you know, like I see like you know, for lack
of a better term, like jumping up for joy type
situations just like oh my god, like thank you so
much for inviting me.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Like even like one of our coworkers like she was like, oh,
like I've actually had your date in my calendar for
like the past year already. Yeah she wasn't even invited yet.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yeah, entitlement.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
But no, we always knew that, like she was gonna
be fine. But yeah, it just makes it. It makes
it very real.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
And it's cool that that everyone likes our say of
the dates too, that's so cool.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
You're on my fridge.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Yeah, so like that's like it's really cool to like
when people will say like, oh, like this is such
a unique idea. I'm like, oh my god, thank god,
Like I'm not a basic bitch like with my wedding.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
You know, well nowadays, you know, you got to top everybody.
We live in Instagram world. So yeah, that was a
very good and unique idea.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
No.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
The one thing that I did cluck the other day
was Cruise had said something about our wedding and he
had said, like, oh, yeah, for the content. I was like, no, no, no, no, no.
I was like, my wedding is not content. My wedding
is strictly prohibited from being content by the way.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I had you back. I said, no, you didn't. I said,
no content, you guys, that's not gonna happen. As far
as I'm concerned, it's not gonna happen. Yeah. No, you know, Cruise,
you know.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
No, Yeah, I think we've made it like a point
within us without you and really saying it that like
we don't want just that type of energy and it's not.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Man and they shouldn't be that way. That's why I also,
you shouldn't invite the boss, right, I think I think
you're doing it right, you know, and I promise you
I don't. I don't want to do any part of that,
Like that's not mean just no, if you catch a
bar of something, it's not generated. I can't, like I said,
I can't control Cruise or Jag or let's excuse me.

(05:29):
But you know, for me, I'm not doing that to
you guys. You guys, we all do. You guys have
done too much work to make this day special and
and you guys deserve it to just be about that true,
not about like the bit yeah us walking around recording people.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
Yeah, you know no, And I definitely like we've even
made it a point too that like we're going to
have people who are like so our main DJ is
one of our really good friends, and I'm giving him
a Nico like a agreed that I'm giving him like
a face sheet of people who are not allowed to DJ,
not allowed.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
To use the microphone is Bootleg Ken there.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Yeah, I like there's no there's people on there that
like I'm just like, hey, this is what they look like,
this is their name, and like that.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Our DJ also knows what people look like to because
he's so involved.

Speaker 4 (06:17):
But uh yeah, like we told yeah basically, like you know,
like those red carpet face sheets, like that's basically what
it's going to be.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Anybody that potentially could be on drugs do not get the.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Microphone exactly, which is pretty much a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Then yeah, I mean Leslie could DJ, you know, like
j like minutes or whatever, like you know, I definitely
let Leslie do it.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I did tell Nico that he is allowed like fifteen minutes.
I don't know, fifteen minutes of DJA if you wanted to,
But like.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I think will do it.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I think he can great, man, Like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
You're great. I think les would be great too, you can.
I mean she knows Spanish music great too, So yeah
you can get up there and handle that.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Yeah, And that's what like I like I'm kind of
hoping for too, is that like our DJ homies who
like we want to DJ, are like gonna wanna be
and like and then our our main DJ.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
He knows that like what it is to we want
him to.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
Be a guest too, because so yeah, so we're just like, hey,
if somebody wants to take some time, like it's cool,
Like we want you to enjoy yourself too.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
We want you to dance, we want you to drink.

Speaker 4 (07:23):
So it's like it's more of like a big like
frat party with some like with some structured elements.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
I don't tell, don't okay, just dumbed down our wedding
to a threat.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
No, I meant like the.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Vibe, like the party vibe is like I want it
to be so fun that like it doesn't feel like
your normal wedding. But the normal normal wedding stuff is
like the dances and the speeches and everything like that.
But like when we party, I want it to feel
like you've agreed that.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
What you're saying is I can wear a toga.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
No, No, you're party to keV right, you bottle that up.
It's gonna come with a keg exactly. So let me
ask you guys. So you guys are getting married on
a Saturday. You guys aren't going on your honeymoon until
later this year.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Right at the end of the year.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
That right, So you're gonna come back to work on Monday.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
No, okay, I'm taking we're taking the days off.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
I didn't know I didn't work, I am. I just
was s curious because I was thinking about that, like, so,
are you gonna take the week off some days?

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Well, I'm planning to.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
I don't know what Negle's planning to do, but I'm
planning to take like that Thursday and Friday off and
then before because I'm not trying to be like I'm
not trying to be stressed like out, and then maybe
be back to work on Tuesday, like or Wednesday of
the following week.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Okay, so for sure at least that Monday.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
I was kind of wondering about that because she mentioned
I was just thinking right now, I'm.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
Like, no, I guess that's what it is.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Well, that is that's what it is for me.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
I mean, you want your your husband to make money
on Monday, and I'm not salary.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
I don't know, let's see how long it takes for
him recover. No, but before I definitely need you to
not work.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
I know for sure.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
So I get that because we had because you know,
the Friday or like the day before, Like weddings is
a whole bunch of like rehearsals and all that stuff.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
And then also dealing with that last minute text of
like oh I'm not gonna be able to make it
or whatever. Like I want to just be in them
in a space where I'm not like stressed out here
and then like causing problems. So I'm just like I'd
rather be home and cause my own problems.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I want to talk to you about the Ben Affleck
and Matt Damon interview. How cool was that for you guys?

Speaker 1 (09:44):
That was so dope?

Speaker 5 (09:45):
It was that was amazing.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Movie rip on Netflix. I'm breaking all kinds of records.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Number one on Netflix right now. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Okay, so did they look old in person? Or how
do they?

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Can I say, because I know where you're gonna say.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Okay, so I'm gonna say something first.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Right, So, we had watched the rip, you know, Jackie
got like the exclusive look at the rip, and we
had watched and it was funny when I saw Ben
Affleck and Matt Damon because when I saw them, I
kind of had to tilt my head a little bit
like this because I was like, ain't no way, Matt
Damon is that much shorter than Ben Affleck because in

(10:20):
the movie, I promise you, in the movie or in
anything they've been in together, they look the same height.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Magic movie, bro.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
The magic of movies.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Man.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
I was like, there's no way.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Short shucking.

Speaker 4 (10:34):
But yeah, like I probably as tall as him, Matt Damon, maybe, yeah,
maybe actually yeah, But like Ben Affleck, he was very
much like he was a little bit like he did
look a little.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Bit older than I thought, to be honest, but I
mean they were both really cool. They were both a
lot more chill than I thought.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
No, they're regular dudes, man. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
And you know what I noticed too, is like Matt Damon,
I didn't realize like how much on the reserved side
he is. And you know, I think then being like
one of his really good friends, if not like his
best friend, right, Like he's a lot more talkative and
eccentric and just you know, it's just like boom boom
boom his hands a lot he does, which I like,
you know what I mean, I like. And so I'm

(11:16):
looking at them, I'm seeing their dynamic of their height.
I'm seeing the dynamic of how each one talks and
presents themselves. I'm like, I can see why these two
are legitimately best friends.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
I mean, yeah, Ying and Yang probably no wonder how
old Ben Affleck is? Well, hey, Siri, how old is
Ben Affleck?

Speaker 1 (11:35):
Ben is fifty three years old? Fifty three three?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
So did he look fifty three? You know?

Speaker 4 (11:42):
He probably?

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Yeah old?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
No, he looked like he was in his fifties, but
like a good fifties.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Not like not like ran down, not like I.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Fucking hate life fifties yeah, more like I'm rich bitch fifties.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Yeah, But like, do you know what's crazy?

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Two is when I was interviewing them. When I was
interviewing them, and I walked into the room, I shook
their hand, and then I looked immediately to like both
of their their side tables that they had, and Matt
just had like some water and like like a Starbucks
cup or some like a cup of coffee or tea

(12:19):
or whatever it was. And then Ben had like two
packs of like the Zin's Yeah, And so I was
just like, oh, it was like, damn, this man, this
man is going through it.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
Right through it. Bro That meme of him smoking is
all of us every day.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Yeah, smoke every day.

Speaker 4 (12:40):
That's how we want to be like yeah, but they
were really funny, they were cool, and it was honestly
just one of those experiences that I was like, I
can't believe this is happening the entire time.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, and it is when you when you like, when
you're in the presence of those people like that, you
look as like megastars. You know, there's there's you know,
A B and Cless actors or whatever those guys are.
They're Hollywood royalty, man. You know, they've been here, they've
done it. So when you're in their presence, it's kind
of like, oh shit, I'm ye.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
But you know what too, they don't give off that
feeling like I'm better than you, you know what I mean.
They don't give off that aura. They literally just give
off like I'm here to do my job.

Speaker 1 (13:23):
I'm here to do my job and I'm paying attention
to you.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Yeah, Like you know, something that I really commended them
for was that, like when Jackie came in the room,
I was there just like you know, watch the interview
and supervised whatever, right, but they gave Jackie like her
undivided attention and everything that Jackie wanted to do between
her questions between the gifts, the Pokemon cards. They were

(13:47):
super down for and that's something that you know, it
did translate on video, but it's something that you don't
get the full experience of unless you're physically there to
see it.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
How long did did the moment?

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Right?

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Did you ever get past the pinch be moment? Or
or because it was over quickly? Right, yeah, five.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Minutes fast, I think right immediately after, Nico took like
a video of.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Me and I was just like, oh my god, oh
my god, oh my god, like.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
And then we just went into the elevator and then
we went downstairs and we're like, okay, we have to
go to the airport now, and like we have to, like,
but I don't think, I like, yeah, like, and I
don't think it's like fully settled in for me yet,
Like I haven't gotten over it, should I say?

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Like, I like, I'm still on that high of like.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yo, this is how I started off the year, and
that's actually nuts, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Hopefully it's a great omen. Yeah, I think that's the problem.
You know, we had a meeting in here the other
day and that was one of the things I really
but we have to enjoy that stuff more because it's
always on to the next. It's like, oh, Monday, we
got this person, Tuesday, we got this person, Wednesday, we
got this person. It's like, shit, man, we don't ever
get to enjoy like and just say fuck man. That
was really really cool man. Yeah, you know, like Selena Gomez, right,

(15:00):
I think she's awesome and I love her and only
murders and I just love her what she stands for
and her mental health doc was so good. Yeah, Like
I really respect like how she handles herself, especially with
all the ship she's been through. Yeah, and like I
really that moment when she was here, I was just like, man,
this is fucking cool. But then it's like, Okay, we
gotta go do our show by Yeah you know what

(15:22):
I mean, And you don't get to enjoy it. Man.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
That was definitely one of those pinch me moments where
I was just like like, dude, I she to me
is like just Hollywood royalty too, because I grew up
watching her like my like her characters basically molded my personality,
Like I like Alex Wizards, yeah from Wizards of Place,
Like Alex Russo was such like like I don't know,

(15:46):
it's such an iconic character, you know, and like I
think if I were to ever meet like Miley Cyrus
for example, like that like that's Hannah Montana to me too,
Like that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
And about uh liked was what show was she she
was on?

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Oh my god, shake It, shake it Up.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
There's another one where she was like a she was
like a spy or something.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Bro, I know what you're talking about. Casey Undercover.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
Really Okay, see I was I was shake it Up,
Ara of Disney and before and but like Casey Undercover
and after that was like that's like your kids is
like Era of Disney.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
She's a really sweet person. But yeah, I think we
got to enjoy it more. Man. I think that we're lucky.
We're lucky to be here and doing what we're doing,
and not everybody can say that, and I think that
we have to just enjoy that a little bit more.
We're victims of that, all right. I wanted to ask
you about the Pokemon liking your.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Tweet, our Instagram video.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Yeah Nico or your Instagram Nico. How did it feel,
because this Nico loves Pokemon and to have the actual
Pokemon account give you that, Like, how did it feel?

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Like?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Comment?

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Yeah, you know, I feel very for me.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
It's it's like my feelings toward her, and like the
overall thing, I feel very like proud and accomplished, right because,
like you know, I brought Jackie into like my Pokemon
world and she understands it now and I.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Give yeah, so I give her the idea.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
I was like, hey, like, you know, let's rip packs
on the rip with you know, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon.
And so the first thing that actually happened, and I'm
not sure if Jackie told you, but the voice of
ash Ketcham actually left the comment first.

Speaker 1 (17:32):
Is like the main char like the main Pokemon, like
Pikachu's owner.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
Owner, so the main recognized Yeah, so the mace, the
main voice actor for ash Ketchum, actually like left the comment,
and then you know, her and Jackie actually started communicating.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
I'm like, this is so cool.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
And then when Pokemon left the comment, Jackie like you know,
said something to me, and I was like, holy crap, you.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Don't know Ashketcham.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
That's like you just like in Pokemon, you know, ash
Ketchum and Pikachu, and that's pretty much it.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
And anyways, I was just like holy, I was like,
holy crap, Like Pokemon actually left the comment our group
chat is going.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
Crazy like me and the Pokemon guys, and like.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
For me, it felt like wow, like we made such
an impactful like moment for the Pokemon community, you know,
and to me, like that's one of the coolest things
ever because who would have ever thought in a world
that Matt Damon, ben Fleck, Jackie The Cruise Show, Real
ninety two three, and Pokemon would all co exist in

(18:40):
one singular like the space space random.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
I mean, that's the opportunities that you know I was
talking about earlier, think, Yeah, man, we have those opportunities.
And when you have a great idea and you execute
it like that, I mean, that's you never know what's
gonna happen, and that's amazing exactly.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
I will say I was like cringing at the fact
that ben Affleck was holding the cards like they were
just playing cards. Yeah, that was like, oh my god,
It's like he's really holding it like he's playing poker
right now.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Yeah, And that's like a lot of people in the
comments are like, yo, like he really just opened that.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Pack with his teeth, like because you're supposed to be
careful with.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
It, because you don't yeah, and he obviously doesn't know,
but like you're supposed to be careful with it in
case there is like something in there that's like worth
a lot of money.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
But honestly, that is also the fun of the video
because you just don't know how.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I would the same way people will talk about me,
because I just don't know, you know what I mean,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, but it was it was really cool. It was
it was a fun moment. And I'm glad I got
to do that.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
For like, you know, like a certain community.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
I I'm glad I got to do that for like Nico,
And I'm glad I got to like collaborate on that
video too with like our friends who who are vendors
