Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's the good.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
This is John Legend and you're checking out the Cruise
Show podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Make sure you subscribe rate and shit.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
All right, we're back with another Cruise Show After Hours
podcast and we all in the building.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Garcia was good.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Yeah, it has been a minute a few weeks here,
but I wanted to get back into the swing of things.
Jackie and Nico are off a very big red carpet
last night, and they came in because they made.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
Money last Yeah, they made money last night, which is crazy.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
So Jackie and you guys tell the story real quick
on how you guys came up yesterday.

Speaker 6 (00:28):
I'll do it because Nigo makes a short story long.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
I asked him in the hallway and he was like, broke,
just ask Jackie.

Speaker 6 (00:35):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 7 (00:35):
So One Piece were recovering the season two of One
Piece last night for Netflix. And One Piece is a huge,
huge anime. It's been going on for now, like what
twenty years, twenty years or something, and they're like, last night, yea,
right there, bro it really is like the first season,
like the actual anime is like a thousand plus episodes.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Yes, and season two is just about to start.

Speaker 7 (00:56):
Yeah, but the live action season two is up right
now or about to be up on Netflix March tenth,
and so we took some one piece of cards for
the cast to.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Rip Pokemon cards. No, one piece of piece cards my fault.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
It is different, like how there's Yu gi oh and Pokemon.
This one's just specifically one.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Piece Okay you say so, if you say so, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:17):
So that's how we're so we were able.

Speaker 7 (01:20):
We had the chance to interview Inaki, which who plays
the main character Monkey.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
De Loofy, and I was I let people keep.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
The cards because I also don't want to be that
person like if they get a really good card, like yeah,
I can take.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
That back, you know.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
So he's opening these, he's opening the card pack that
we gave him, and we don't know what's in there.
And he gets to the last card and he says, oh,
and so I look, and then he puts it all
back together and then takes out of a random cards like,
you know what, I'll keep this one.

Speaker 6 (01:51):
I'm like, oh, well, you can keep all of them.

Speaker 7 (01:53):
He says no, and then I give the stack to
Nico the rest of the cards, and Nico's going through
them and he Loopinaki. He pulled the most expensive card
of that series what and gave it back to I.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Don't think he knew, bro.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I think I don't think.

Speaker 7 (02:09):
He because he went to the last card. He went
to the last card and like in the in the
clip that.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I knew, wouldn't he go whoa? Like, isn't that a
big clip?

Speaker 6 (02:18):
Also? No? Oh really, because like I feel like, I mean,
he wouldn't. Like I don't know.

Speaker 7 (02:24):
I just feel like he's also kind of like I
don't want to is.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
He trying to be nice?

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
But also too, he has money. He could have bought
that card on his own, because the card.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Already has it. Maybe he's not into that stuff though
maybe he's not.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Maybe he's not into it.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
But or car you guys brought? Yeah, would you guys
bring a stack or a few packs.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Or yeahs box? And what's that cost?

Speaker 1 (02:49):
It costs sixty dollars?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
And so you're still coming up? And how much is
the card? Work?

Speaker 5 (02:54):
Card?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Raw right now is like five hundred dollars. Raw means
like ungraded, just straight.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
It's just straight out the package.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Even though it's been touched and all that.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Yeah, And I saw the clip Jackie showed me he
opened it kind of wild but that didn't affect the cards.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Right now, we looked.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
At it, and I mean with Pokemon cards, I can
kind of tell now, like if it's kind of uneven
because I Nico collects Pokemon cards with one piece cards.
They take up the full card with artwork, so it's
it's almost and they have like a really better I think,
printing job.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
When it comes to do you have to go out
of your way to ruin it?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Okay, So this card, now if you grade it, what happens.

Speaker 7 (03:32):
If I grade it and then it comes back like
a pristine like ten ten out of ten type of situation,
it's worth at least probably like eleven hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
No, I guess that. Now, guess what that's for PSA grading.
There's this thing called Beckett black label grading. If it
turns out to be a pristine black label, you can
literally set the price on it for whatever you want
because it's very rare. It's extremely rare to get that.
And I'm talking I'm not even talking about a couple
of thousand, and I'm talking about like tens of thousands of.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Are you gonna sell it?

Speaker 6 (04:02):
No?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
No, that's why sell it? What do you need it
for you.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
So mind you a wedding coming up, so mind you
this just happened Like an.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Wants a weed bar at the wedding. This could pay
for the weed.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
No, no, no, so mind you this happened maybe like not
even twelve, like a little under twenty four hours ago.
But I already told Jackie and like, look, this will
be a very cool like heirloom to pass on to
our kids.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Yeah, because is a fan of like one piece and.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Like go open value as you know, the longer you
keep it. Yes, yes, you guys see this is cool.
Garcia has like stuff too that's worth money as well,
like memorabilia, right yeah you do.

Speaker 5 (04:37):
You have the Kobe stuff. Yeah, but that's personalized. Yeah,
like that's what's.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Still me No, yeah, but saying like the value of
like being.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
I mean, personalized stuff doesn't sell, like two Nico stuff
doesn't sell.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah yeah, but if it was like just Kobe's signats Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
So like my stuff says to Jeff, like I have
some other things that don't, which I.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Think is even cooler.

Speaker 7 (04:58):
Yeah, and like so Nico was just like you should
get him to sign it. I was like, well, one, no,
I don't want to do that because we're here as
professional assert.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Well and two it down. Well, he was literally right
next to us, so he was hearing us talking.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Does he ruin it?

Speaker 7 (05:13):
No, but it wasn't his character, so maybe it wouldn't be.

Speaker 6 (05:21):
I don't know, but yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
I was just like I'm just gonna take this for
what it is and keep it pushing and like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I'm not gonna lie. So afterwards, Jackie and I ended
up watching UH season two, episode one at the premiere,
and literally the whole time, like I was enjoying the episode,
but the whole time, I was thinking to myself, like, dude,
this five hundred dollars card is just smack in the
middle of my pocket right now, Like I want to
go and just put it in my safe.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
You want to go home and geek out with it?
Geek out? Yeah, yeah, I feel feel.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Because we're still on the red carpet, so I didn't
get neither of us got time to geek out.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
Yeah, but it was really cool.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
She had a hobby.

Speaker 7 (06:00):
This sounds fun, It's it's Nico's hobby, and I just
kind of like, enjoy it.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
You're in it now, Homi, especially when it comes to
the money you might as well keep.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
The books, homie.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
But yeah, it was. It was a really dope premiere.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Yeah, very cool because you talked about hobbies, and it's
funny you say that because you're like, man, I need
a hobby. And then I heard you the other day
when I was editing right next to you. You're like,
maybe I need advice. I need something.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I don't even know.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
He was like talking to himself, like while I was
editing right next to him, and I'm.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Like, I was losing my mind.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
No, no, no, but I mean you're trying to like
figure out something that uh maybe gives you a break
from here and home, which is very needed.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, what's yours? What do you do?
I mean I read read is good, Yeah, I listened
to audio books.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I mean I'm a TV personal, watching a lot of TV.
But I mean, you know, I used to do more
physical self, like surf and all that. I can't with
the surf any morning.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
And skateboard records. Oh yeah, you can like records.

Speaker 5 (06:59):
That's cool. Yeah, I have some ship to do, you know,
not a lot.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
But your hobby is like walking, you like, I love
to walk.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, but that's just I mean, that's good, you know,
but I have to wake up in order to do
the kind of walk that I want. I have to
wake up before everyone else and get home before anyone
wakes up to help him wake up. So it's crazy,
it's like it's it becomes like almost a chore. But
it's something that I love. I love doing that. I
love walking nine mile walks in the morning, right like

(07:26):
conquer the day. But like something fun that's not fun,
that's just like something I feel good doing.

Speaker 6 (07:32):
I get you, which is fun?

Speaker 5 (07:34):
What is something that you enjoy?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Nothing?

Speaker 5 (07:37):
No, you're gonna have a hard time finding it.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I enjoy nothing. I enjoy nothing. I enjoy nothing. I
promise what do I enjoy? Trying to figure out? I'm
trying to figure it out.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
I'm asking you to give you a chance to talk
to yourself.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
I used to like shoes, and then I just gave
up on that. Why, I just like I just lost interest?
What else?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
I used to love watching TV and stuff, but kind
of moved on now I'm just just like watching talking YouTube,
watching clips.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
And outside of on outside of shoes, have you collected
anything ever.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
In your life?

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I have like a small collection of scarface the movie stuff,
but like, I don't even know where that's at now.
I think it's in our garage. I don't I don't
even know where it's I don't even know where it's at.
And it's but it's really cool stuff.

Speaker 6 (08:28):
We're interesting in selling.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
And my dad would probably one really scarface scarface poster
in the den.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Yeah, like I like they're like they're still in the box,
like you know, like figures on the car and all that. Yeah,
it's like cool stuff. But yeah, I don't know that.
I moved on from that. I started to want to
you know what your hobby is little art pieces, and
I moved on from that.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
It's going to Disneyland alone with no kids.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah I would like to do that too, but that's
expensive and that's hard to do with the kids, and
that is kids schedules. It is a hobby, and that's
a hobby you are.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, I would love to go, but like.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
No, but in general, you enjoy, like thoroughly enjoy.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Yeah, yeah, enjoy.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
But isn't a hobby or something like that you get
to whenever you can, like, but you do it often
not often.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
That's when you have time, but it's it's your break.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I don't know what a hobby of the world, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, it's like time for you just like isolate.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
Yea, I don't know. I got to get back to you, guys.
I got to get back to you.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
Guys. Maybe you should let the audience picked a hobby
for you, because.

Speaker 7 (09:37):
It's not like I don't know, but something kind interesting though,
And I have noticed this that you. I don't know
if I would call it a hobby, but I I
know that you like trying new things for like your health.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
I do that. I love doing.

Speaker 7 (09:54):
Yeah, like whether it's sprouts is my hobby, whether like
which is a good thing, Like whether it's like little
turic green water, Like you like learning about things that
will help.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
You to stay alive.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
Yes, yes, which is a good thing.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
That's good. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, just grocery shopping.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
But like I don't I really do that anyway now too,
So I lose interest pretty fast, all right.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Your hobby is finding hobbies.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
That's just a search for hobbies.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
So he's gonna be like that one fool that searches
for treasures and never fucking finds him ever, you know
I'm talking about right, Like, no, you know the guy.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
I'm talking about.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Where's like a fucking Indiana Jones Fedoria is a white
dude and he goes out looking for ship all the
time and never finds anything.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
That's sad.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I'm gonna find it, man, you know I'm talking about
hold on, I'm gonna find it.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Have you ever owned those those machines that people use
on the beach to find stuff, like metal detectives?

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Never found a metal.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
I think that would be fun to find this.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
That'd be fun, But that, God, I'd get so annoyed.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
That geo?

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yeah, what the heck?

Speaker 6 (11:09):
I don't think Yeah, I got that.

Speaker 7 (11:13):
I don't think I've ever seen ant geo show, and
like or, I don't think i've seen a NAT geo
show in like a while.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I don't think I've ever heard anyone call it thatt geo.

Speaker 6 (11:20):
That's literally what everyone calls it.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I say national geography.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
I say national geographic to because because we're millennials. Yeah,
now remember the show?

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Do you call it that geo?

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:35):
You got It's like a pip named slicked back. You
got to say the whole thing.

Speaker 6 (11:39):
That's completely you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
You know exactly what you're talking about I'm talking about
named slick, but.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
I'm trying to find it. I can't find a dog.
You'll know it when I say it. Show the next
well we'll find you.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Oh No, he's a chef.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
I like. I think that's my hobby.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
Is like trying on like or trying a different foods,
like I'm a very Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I love doing that too. Tacos tacos are my hobby.
That's a shirt.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
There you go, tacos are my hobby.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Is crazy.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
It was on that Discovery discussing Discovery. It's Expedition Unknown.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Heard of that?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
You see that guy right, yeah before.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
I don't think i've ever I don't think I've ever
seen that brother finds nothing whole fucking world and never
finds anything him.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
It's Mayan Ruins. It's this. It's that like he travels
the whole world that never finds anything.

Speaker 6 (12:46):
But honestly, he's got to figure it out. He's gotting
Discovery pay for his trips.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I'm finding nothing, bro, you love this.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
He looked for the actual goodies treasure he did, Yeah,
and of course he didn't find it. Is real for
like Nazi subs, Like it's the whole thing. It's a
fire show, but I feel sad at the end because
it's just.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
Nothing, you know, like the Strip Club. You know what
I mean.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
He goes, you leave with nothing, Bro, it's over.

Speaker 5 (13:12):

We would love him.

Speaker 1 (13:27):

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Those guys grew up and they were like all like
brilliant in their own way.

Speaker 5 (13:32):
Right.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
I did Chunk do anything after that? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
I related the Junk.

Speaker 1 (13:39):

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I related the Chunk was like hello, I related him
because he just you know, he loved food.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
The thing is when I find a movie or a show,

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Yeah, you have to watch it in pieces because you
fall asleep.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
