Speaker 3 (00:15):
Let's get into the cheese man.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Actually, before we get into the cheese mal Okay, ladies
and gentlemen, the Joe Coy is on the Cruise Show. Right,
let's go, right now, Homie, let's go. Let's go all right,
jack your mires?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
What's good?

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Yo?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
So cheeseman jay Z finally set the record straight.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Apparently he's saying that Pim picking Kendrick Lamar for a
Super Bowl halftime show was not a diss at Drake
and basically he basically says like, Yo, I had to
pick the guy who was absolutely killing it. He says,
I chose the guy that was having a monster year.
I think it was the right choice. It wasn't some
sort of alliance to a battle. What do I care
about them two guys battling? What's that got to do
with me? Have fun?

Speaker 3 (00:51):
So maybe.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
It's like and he knows.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, it's literally the way that Monster Year was also
attached to a monster battle that made us choose a
side exactly, saying.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
That it wasn't a choice and it was just like, bro,
it's inevitable.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Also low key on the Andy Drake and Hove been
throwing shots at each other too throughout the years.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
They actually have they have, But I mean that's all
I got a Jesus, That's what Hope says.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
So to me ask you a question, do you think
a comedian could ever do the Super Bowl halftime show?

Speaker 5 (01:24):
I don't think it's conducive? Like what is that halftime is?
Whenever one gets up to go to the bathroom?

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Like true?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (01:31):
That's like, hey, do you want to perform in front
of alligators?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Totally get it? Medis like that? Make it make sense?
They need energy and they need people there.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Well yeah, it's we're an instrument too, you know what
I'm saying, Like we don't have a band. I have
a microphone and I have you know, my my delivery.
I need the most important part, which is your attention.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
That's right, That's right what I mean.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
And it's like no, like all those factors don't make sense,
you know what I mean, Like food court, you know,
like they just think we could go anywhere, laundry mats man,
what are you talking about? I know none of that
makes sense, you know what I mean. So, but we
did a football stadium.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Joke Boy and Fluffy sold out seventy thousand seats at.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Crazy. I call it the greatest comedy.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Show everts that is, man, I'm gonna trademark that. Hey, dude,
do it greatest comedy show ever, Joe Cooy.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
And I pour it down, Thank you man, thank you,
stop it dog.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
The intro is crazy. He came out as a Jabbawaukee.
No one expected it. We just thought the Jabbawaukes were
putting on a show. Maybe somebody would announce you and
you'd walk out. No, you're part of the intro. You're
part of the Jabbawaukee. They rip off your outfit and
there you are. Who would have thought of Filipino under
those costumes?

Speaker 4 (02:45):
I wouldious, hilarious, that's so funny.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
You know the guy that created the jabwalkeing, he's black, right,
and his wife is Filipinos.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
So it always stays Philippini. How long did it take
you to learn that, Joe?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Not that long?

Speaker 5 (03:02):
You know what what sucked was we prepared for side entrance,
you know, like the normal arena.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
There was a side that I could walk in.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Right when I got to the sound check, we didn't
realize that the sides was the size of a touchdown
and I'm like, there's no way I can walk in.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
I was like, what are we gonna do?

Speaker 5 (03:22):
And then I was like, I guess we're gonna cut
this part because I don't We're you gonna hide? And
then there's a light box that was dead center where
the lights you know, swill back they go, you want
to hide in here? I'm like, how am I going
to hide in here? So then last second I had
to learn the first five minutes, like last second, last second, Yeah,
last second. I had to learn that last five, the

(03:43):
first five in order for me to transition into the
park that I knew.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
No, Bro, I was it was crazy. And who chooses
the music?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
No?

Speaker 5 (03:53):
They create all that they produce, all that Ye TJ
did that? Yeah from the Jablwakes.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Yeah, now that team hit hard and so far hard.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yeah, you know I've known them since there were kids, right,
I used to throw a B boy events, so I
know all those cats full for style elements.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
All that.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
So so it's always been a part. Like when I
used to throw my own comedy shows. I used to
always have B boys, so.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
I always always so it was like.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
I wasn't bringing something to Sofi just to bry it, like, no,
I have history.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, you take them everywhere you go everywhere, and you
bring your heritage everywhere you go everywhere. Extremely important because
if I don't, no one else will talk about it.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Bro Man, That's right, that's right.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
It was very proud Filipino as.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
You can, bro Yo.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
The comics, the comic style intro with your son narrating
as well.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I was very special.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
My boy Jacob did that.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
He did that intro and then my son read it,
which was so surprising because I didn't hear until like
a couple of days before we went up on stage,
and no, I heard it on sound check.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
That was my first time seeing it. I just that
was my first time seeing them.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yeah, I know you. That got you very immoch cry already.
I'm a cry baby man.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
Yeah, I wear my emotions on my sleeve, bro Man.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
In very emotional on stage where you were flying up
there more with Joe Cooy. Next Don't Go Nowhere Go
He's in the building. The Goat Joe Coy Cruise Show
Real ninety two three, Don't Go Nowhere Hang On? Oh man,
oh my god. Yeah, The Cruise Show Real ninety two three.
ELA's new hip Hop We didn't Ones. Actually no, I'm
tripping we didn't boys. When you hear we didn't Boys

(05:26):
by Wisky Leaf and Wind. Tickets to see WHEREZ Live
at Hakkasan Nightclub hip Hop as a home in Vegas.
Let's Go and I'm here for it plus hotel included.
The Goat Joe Coy is on the Cruise Yo, that's
Sofi Stadium seventy thousand Seedar, Joe Coy and Fluffy sold
it out and so much work went into it, so
much right, and you guys are i mean hands on

(05:48):
and every state and everything from the mert everything.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
He aspires me a lot, man, Fluff Fluff Yeah yeah, yeah,
Fluffy man.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
I mean, And it's crazy because I've always been on
that grind anyway, but he was that. He was that
guy that would take it to like even higher levels.
So it's like every time he did this even to
like me sending merchant people. I would use regular packing tape.
And then I saw him he had like special.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
So I was like, you know, where do you get that?

Speaker 5 (06:17):
And he gave me like the thing, and then you know,
then he did my stage one time, you know, and
I had just like the regular you know, light fixtures
or whatever, right, and then I did his and it
looked like a boom box and I'm like, who did this?
And he gave me the name of that, so now
I do that. So it's like I see him and
I love that, and he sees stuff in me that
he takes too, you know what I mean as far
as like I think, Yeah, yeah, man.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
You know I'm speaking of the merch. I mean my parents.
I told you I gave them a date night out
and they went to your show and they were saying
that people were buying boxes of merch. They were literally
in their seats and the box was on their last We.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Were sold out, carrying it on their shoulders.

Speaker 5 (06:52):
Yeah, we were sold out, man, I sold out everything.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Columbus Yah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Yeah, yeah, yes, you gave us a lot of merge
once a while.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
You gave it to me and I brought it back
and people loved it.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
You give somebody, you know there was baby onesies all
of that, right, give somebody Joe Coy March or Fluffy
March and they just you know, it just brings joy
to them.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Unless what you guys do, You guys bring joy to
people's lives. Yeah, man, And that's when everyone needs to recognize.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
It's like, look, there's a Latino and there's a Filipino,
and like, we keep putting ourselves in this pocket and
it's indirect, right, It's like the most it is, like
the most indirect racist thing you can say in Hollywood
when you say, oh, I hope there's a Filipinos there.
It's like, bro, that has nothing to do with the
joy in the laughter that's happening.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Right, we all get it. My mom, you get a
mom's joke. It's a mom being a mom.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
You get you get get Like you saw the room,
you saw who was in there?

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Rab was an Asian people, black people, Hispanic people. Yeah, man,
So like race.

Speaker 5 (07:58):
It's it's so funny because we want to advance ourselves,
but for some reason, sublimately we keep pushing ourselves back
by saying stuff like that. Because if you saw what
we did. You'll understand that it had nothing to do
with Latinos. It had nothing to do with Filipinos. Yes,
we were representing them, but we filled seventy thousand seats
with people, and people show up, laughed, and they died. Bro,

(08:21):
they died. And that's where we need to get to.
That's why I'm goen.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
I have mahalk Do on the chest. It's it's seen
it yeah man, it's like, lo, let's learn about each other.
It's all over the screens, all over Sofi. It's everywhere,
and learn about each other.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
I don't want people to look at that and go,
what does that mean? Then when you hit them with like,
oh that means I love you in Tagallo Filipino.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Oh my god, I love that.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
Right now, we're spreading positivity instead of always digging on
people indirectly.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Let's move forward.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yeah no, no, no, that's what That's what last night, That's
what That's what sof I was about.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
When you walk into a Starbucks, you want someone to say, hey,
how you doing, versus what do you want?

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:54):
Yeah, man, it's crazy man, Like, it's just cool to
see people like Apollonia showing up and and and Sheila E. Yeah,
baby Face and Campbell and yeah, man, everyone back to
Jamie Fox.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Bro, Jamie Fox. You brought out Jamie Fox.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
You brought out baby Face to shut the show down,
and that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
And you put all that together as well, right, Well,
you know you don't have a director to do that. Well, no,
that's I mean, that's direction, the director of the producer. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Yeah, well because you know what, basically what we did
is we married two shows, right, so we took Gabe
show on my show and we just put him together.
We co headlined, right, so you saw the transi transitions
on the screen. You saw how he produces his and
then when it was my section, then it became Joe's show.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
So we we both were responsible for our shows. He
spent so.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Much money on that that with Emilia.

Speaker 5 (09:47):
What and then they rolled in and he spent so
much money on that, and that's that's that's how Gabe is.
It's like, Yo, if I'm going to charge you this
kind of money, I'm a know you that you spent
good money on this show.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
That's right. Yeah, So then I had to do the
same thing, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
I was like I gotta I gotta practice. Like, thank god,
I didn't have to pay Jamie or baby but I
had to.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
It was all love, but I had to also produce it.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I had to like make sure I'm on points.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Yeah, And I went to Babyface's house for a few
days and we worked that whole routine out. And then
Jamie when he walked in, we worked that whole thing
out Jabblewoki's and that took me three days to learn.
And you know what I mean to My outfit was
stuck together with magnets.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
It kept falling off while I was on stage.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
I was like, I was panicking on stage and and
and you know, when you practice, you got periphial, but
when you wear the mask.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
He was just dead center. So I was like, man,
I don't see anything.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
When I came up to elevate, I was yelling at
the dancers, you know, I was yelling at Luca and
and Nightmare. I was like, you guys, man, you better
tell me count, count, tell me count.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
We got you, Joe.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Everything has to go right. Yeah, everything did everything aligned
that night. You were up there flowing man, and looked
like you were floating up there, bro.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Thank you man.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
I didn't care, man, I really I cut the fat
out and I went for it.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Are you making up stuff? On on on stage?

Speaker 5 (11:14):
There was a lot of stuff feel that free up there. Yeah,
the story about Connor, my nephew, he's right here, right nephews. Yeah, yeah,
but he really did do that when my because my
dog runs away all the time, and he did it
again because someone left the door open.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
But Connor doesn't want to tell me who that.

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Means it was not anyway, ye yeah, yeah, he ran
up the stairs like King's hang on and I was like, but.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
The voices that you did for your dog hilarious.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
The coyote joke was great, bro, the cat cat joke.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
All that stuff was just yeah. Man, I just I
felt I went for it. I just I didn't want
to like hold back.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (11:48):
I was gonna say, what moment are you most proud
of from Saturday Night? Because I mean, the whole thing
has got to be emotional, But is there one singular
moment where you're like, yeah, man, this this is it.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
This is thirty years in the making and and I'm
on this right now.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Oh God, that's a tough one, you know what. That's
an easy answer, man, it's hugging my son.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
That's awesome. That's it answer.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
I know it sounds mushy.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, but.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
Yeah, See, the beautiful thing about you two guys is
you're living your dream just like me, right, Like you
want to be in this field, right, just like me.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
And people outside this don't understand that.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
You know. They look at you guys and they talk
about as funny sometimes oh you're a DJ huh or oh.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
You're a comedian, and we deal with that our whole life.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
But when you have a kid and you have to
tell him that this is my dream and I'm trying
to follow it.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
It's a hard sell. They don't get it.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Understand.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
There's birthdays I missed, you know what I mean. There's
fifth birthday, his eighth birthday. You know, there was this morning,
Oh my god, there's a chili cook off, the carnival thing, like,
there was all kinds of stuff that, like, you know,
I think about and I'm like, man, this sucks, but
that moment, yeah, made it all worth Yeah. It was like, Okay,
I get it. I'm glad you missed my birthday.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
He gets it, Yeah, and he boll my dreams and
I see the stars now and you make them part
of it. It's like he's on stage. When you're on stage,
that means he's on stage.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
And he knows, man, that that night wouldn't have went
as as uh well as he did if he wasn't
part part of it.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
He was a big part of it. He's backstage working too.
He's working, he's on point. He's looking at his dad.
He's watching his dad's back. He's making is okay, you
know what I mean? And on stage he's putting on
his jacket. Right, He's putting on Joe's jacket and Joe's like,
put it on me, man, right, He's like thinking, He's
like talking or thinking out loud. He's like, I didn't
pull out for a reason. Conversations the stage for the

(13:35):
seventy thousand people.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
Now, you're gonna just put one arm in the.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
Jacket on the way, there's seventy thousand people here.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Put my jacket on like a boss. James Brown over
the shoulders.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Bro, let's go, Bro, how your kids will always find
a way to humble you?

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yeah, yeah they will.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Joe Coy is here, Hey, let me shout out my.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
Crew litt d right, over here, d Emil Connor and
of course Jacob Man my crew.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Everybody good, Thank you bro, everybody, what's up?

Speaker 4 (14:03):
It's all good?

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Yeah man, it's all love. Congratulations, Joey one more. Okay, Oh,
let's go. I thought we were done.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Were you want to? I don't know you did that
weird whistle.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
I thought that was the end of the segment, Like
I've never had a conversation in the middle of it, Like.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
I'm like, yeah, I.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Get some.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Horn.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
He's such a comedian he thought that was the key.
I thought that was I thought you were wrapping me up,
Like remember me? Do you guys remember me? I'm over here,
right here.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Nico Blinz is back in the mix, right now, Real
Natty to Joe coy is here.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Let's go.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
If he has an air horn, I'm gonna be pissed.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Nico Blintz, you got an air horn?

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Or no.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
Guy's air horn?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Na Yo, Joe Cooy here with us Cruise Show Real
ninety two or three, LA's new over a hip hop.
Let's go Sofi Stadium history was made over seventy thousand people,
and you had to open up more seats, right and ye, people,
the demand was crazy.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
It was crazy. The standing room only seats, that was nuts.
That was nuts. I saw the section. It was the
other end zone and they just opened up that whole
section that sold out.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
People were willing to stand to experience this show man.
There was an experience.

Speaker 5 (15:25):
Started selling obstructeds on the side, but I think people
just wanted to be there, man, Like, yeah, nothing better
than having your identity, you know what I mean, Like
like being represented and having identity, and like everyone being
felt seen, like they felt seen that day.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Everyone felt you know, especially with you on stage, people
feel like you're speaking to them directly.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Even the people way up top.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
God bless them for being there, right way up there,
and they could hear every single joke.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
There's no delay. You guys made sure the sound was
on points.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (15:52):
Well, when you were talking leading up to the show
and you were like, guys, this isn't going to Netflix,
this isn't going anywhere.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
You have to be there to experience.

Speaker 7 (16:00):
Yeah, and that's the show that you gave those people,
which is you know, one night only.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
If you weren't there, you didn't see it. Had to
see it there.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Shout out to Omar from three G and three G
the production team, because I mean they went and did
their thing.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
Man, they went and got a they went got did
I say this already?

Speaker 5 (16:16):
They got the speakers from the same guys that did
the speakers for Rolling Stones. They did our Yeah, like
they came in from London. They came in from the
UK for us.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
Man, So both you and Fluff, right, you guys pay
attention to every single detail and it wasn't Yeah, yes,
of course it was a comedy show.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
But it was the greatest comedy show ever. Hey.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
You know what, I'm a I'm a big fan of
complimenting yourself because if you don't, then you're gonna wait
a long time wait for someone to do it for you. Hey, Man,
recognize when you do something great. And I'm gonna say it, man,
that was one of the greatest.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
I said it on stage. That was the greatest night
of my life.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Honestly, I've had some great sets.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
I had some bad sets.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
Yeah, but you know what, I'm gonna celebrate when I win,
and that was a win.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
That was a huge win.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Do you have like a trip planned or anything like that.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah, my house with my dog.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
He's back to work.

Speaker 6 (17:05):
Like I got so many miles on my on my,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
And flying.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
I just want to sit home and just decompressed.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Not for sure.

Speaker 7 (17:13):
Yeah, man, do you now have pressure to repeat this
performance at a bigger venue?

Speaker 5 (17:18):
I think the biggest joke that I've been saying at
every interview is that Gabe and I are thinking about
the moon. So we're gonna go ahead. We're gonna go
at least the moon and see how much, see what happens,
we can do it. I hope, I hope those aliens
aren't union.

Speaker 4 (17:36):

So this oh, by the way, Brooklyn. I just want
you to know that when I did the Biggie bit,
I wasn't supposed to do that. I even told my
DJ Turbulence, I go, don't play it. Even if I
say I'm gonna sing, don't press play because we didn't

(21:10):
pay for the clearance.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
Boy yep. I got on the phone with her. She
talked to me. We talked for about I don't know
about five minutes, and and she shouted me out like
thank you for keeping my son's legacy alive. But everyone,
every generation after this will know my son's music and
and she was made. And then she let me put
his face on on my shirt. So it's the last
collab that Missus Wallace ever did. It's the joke Boy

(21:55):
Biggie collab shirt. It's his face, the one where he's
wearing the crown. It says spread love. It's the Brooklyn
Way on the front, and that it's my quote on
the back. And then of course I promised her that
we would donate uh to the Wallace Foundation and uh
and not only that, big shout out to Rick because
he made that that whole thing possible, the guy that
took care of that one. So but yeah, anyway, I
just wanted to shout that out.

Kingdom of Fraud

Kingdom of Fraud

It’s the unlikeliest of criminal partnerships: a devout polygamist from an insular Utah sect joining forces with a shadowy Armenian tycoon from LA. The result - a billion dollar fraud conspiracy. In Kingdom of Fraud, investigative reporter Michele McPhee traces the origins of the extraordinary alliance between Jacob Kingston and Levon Termendzhyan. Together, the two men trigger the largest tax investigation in American history and weave around themselves a web of dirty cops, influential political relationships and transnational money laundering. All this is set against the backdrop of Jacob Kingston’s clan – The Order. A powerful and secretive polygamist organization in Salt Lake City. To whom Jacob is desperate to prove his worth.
