went into this, you know, I really wanted to play
her the right way, you know. And it's dark. I mean,
it's shot dark, it's edgy. It's not like anything I've
ever done before. And you know, it's really exciting. It's
more like an acting piece than it is like a

glamorous thing for me, you know what I mean. There's moments,
for sure, there's moments of glam in the club. You know,
Studio fifty four.

Flashback, like yo, those flashbacks are crazy, like you're that
party girl one crazy.

Yeah, exactly, Yeah, flashbacks the way it used to be.

So from my character, Margaret.

Were you excited for this challenge of like, like you said,
this was different than what you normally are used Were
you excited? I was so excited for the challenge, you know.
It was really different. And I don't even like they
just said we wanted you. There was no other girl
to play this character but you, and that was cool.
I didn't audition or anything, and I came in and

it was a wake out wild.

There's all the scenes with John Leguizano we were talking
about earlier, and he's like him as Pablo was so
scary to me. He's that guy for real. He just
looked at me through the lens of the like through
the in the car, you know, the mirror. Yeah, he

was looking at me through the rear view mirror. Did
even like Hardy turn his head and I could feel him,
you know, and and we we're.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Still acting right exactly. I was scared.

I was like, yo, this is the real Pablo, you know.

And there was a lot of scenes with white powder,
you know, and I've never done it before, but I watched.
I watched every kind of can you say it on
this Yeah.

Oh that's good, Okay, some things you gotta be careful,
you know, the cocaine exactly exactly. And I had never
done it before, so I watched everything like one drug
I haven't.

And to see back in the days you could ask
be real.

He didn't like it.

A happy molly except I had one bad trip and
I came home but I wasn't supposed to be doing it.
And I told him, he goes, that's what you get.
But he looked like a like a black night. He
turned and looked and I was spiders on the walls.
It was like a I was a dark trip, but
you know, it was like it was a pill that
had across and like a skull and crossbones on it.

Should have never done. It was a black pill.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
But you know when back in the days and the
clubs in the nineties, it was in the nineties, it
was going down, so it was like someone had it.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
I was like, okay, I'll take it.

Yeah, it's got good. It's got to be goodie.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Good once and I've only done half and even believe it.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
I was I took a hand whatever.

Affair it was going up to people and I was
just like, I feel so beautiful. And then the comdown
was like absolutely beautiful.

It was not so good. Yeah, I swear in the
early nineties it was really good. And then something happened
and it changed and then we were like what happened?
Just like hyper all the time, and I didn't like that,
so I stopped doing it.

Good for you, I got off of it. There you go, no,
you know you.

But I didn't have to do anything to get off
of it.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I just you know, just stop.

Yeah for the show, was there challenging parts of the show.

You were talking and telling us earlier about some of
the stunts that you did on your own and stuff.
Was there anything like really challenging and portraying market They really.

Throw you into the game, really threw me in the
back of the car. My back was so messed up,
like seriously, like they threw me. And I had scenes
with that guy who throws me in. We had a
lot of scenes together and we I mean.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
We start doing the cocaina.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
We're like dancing and you know, spinning around, and then
I wake up and the TV's on, and that's when
I realize where I'm.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
At, because I don't even know where I'm at.

At that point, I see like all the the nannies
and the people that are taking care of One Pablo
because it's really the perspective of one Pablo Pablo Son.
And you know what, he this is the only series
want the real one Pablo has approved.

He helped create it, right, and him narrating it is well,
I think that's him narrating it as well.

And I know the little kid was so cute. The
little boy that was the young boy.

for him, and he's just like off camera the nicest
guy ever.

It was so funny because, speaking of be real, we
ended up on a flight with with some of the
guys from Cypress because they had a show out there,

Like it was full circle.

Yeah, he goes, remember I met because I didn't remember,
remember I met you.

I was like, Okay, I met a lot of it's
hard to remember.

I was definitely drinking and there was like a lot
of smoke in the air.

I love how the whole series is in Spanish as well,
because Pablo's life was in Spanish.

Was really proud that, you know, everyone the producers are Latin.
It's a Latin you know production, and that they wanted me.
I was really I'm really proud to be of it. Yeah,
that's right, very proud. I spent a lot of time
in Columbia.

Yeah, shooting it was beautiful. I loved it there. The
grass is so green, and the people are so friendly.
Beautiful people too, that.

Out, very good food. The vibes are like crazy. It
was really fun.

I didn't see them on set when I was there,
but he may have been at other times, but not
when I was there.

steps into that scene and gets, you know, brought into
that crazy world and you know, you start having those
flashbacks and so it looks like a good time, right,

Well, I know Margaret's character, she's sober because she adopted
a daughter and she has a husband at home, and
she gets out there and it starts to amp up
and it gets crazy and she's doing drugs again.

I don't drink anymore.

Yeah, I'm like or you know it, like I'm down
in the drinks and you know, snort.

We look like clowns. We snorted so much this Vitamin

We would come up. I don't know if that's still
in it, but we would step up and we were
like clowns.

of Los Angeles mean to you?

It means a lot to me.

I mean, you know, coming here in the early nineties
and wanting him to have a career, and then you know,
meeting be Real, who is like one of the coolest
people ever. I was living in a really bad neighborhood
and b would come over and every single time he
was there, his something from his car would get jacked

his rims and his system. So he had the infrared
and he's sitting on the balcony waiting, you know, waiting,
and he was like, you can't live here anymore. This
is a bad You're in a bad neighborhood. Something's going
to happen. You're gonna get raped here, or something's going
to happen. And so I started living with him. We
were together for five years. We were engaged, and I

really love the guy a lot.

He's a good guy.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah, he's dude.

a part of the series, you know, And and I.

When I first got there, I was like, Okay, this
is a real project.

is a real project.
