I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
go to God in prayer, and as always I invite
you to join along with me in prayer. I've been
hearing so much lately about people contemplating and thinking about suicide.
Let me encourage you today. Don't make a permanent decision
about a temporary situation. God has you comfort, He has

(00:25):
your family coverfored He has whatever that situation is comfort. Father, God,
in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you
today with heavy hearts, God, crying out for those who
are battling silent wars in their minds, those who are
weary in their souls, and those who feel like life
has lost its meaning. Lord, you see the pain that

(00:45):
hides behind the smiles. You hear the cries that no
one else hears. You know the weight that feels too
heavy to carry. Father, you said in your word that
you are near to the broken heart, and that you
save those crushed and spirit So right now, Lord, we
ask you to draw near, wrap your arms around those
who are hurting so deeply that they can barely find

the words to pray. Whisper to their hearts that they
matter God, their lives matter, that their story isn't over,
that there still is purpose in their pain. Lord, silenced
the lives of the enemy that says that they're not enough,
that they're a burden to their family or to their friends,
that they would be better if they weren't here. God,

(01:29):
replace those lives with your truths that they are fearfully
and wonderfully made, that they are chosen, that they are loved,
and that they are seen by You. God. Remind them
that the world is better because they are in it. Father,
we pray for healing of minds tormented by anxiety and
depression and hopelessness. God, let your light break through the

(01:52):
darkness that surrounds them. God, flood their hearts with peace
where chaos has live. God, give them strength to reach
out for help, courage to hold on just one more day,
and God's faith to believe that you can still turn
it around. Lord, right now, in the name of Jesus Christ,
we also lift up families. Families who are grieving the

(02:14):
loss of a loved one to suicide. Comfort then, Father,
in ways that words simply cannot heal their ape. God
in their hearts and remind them that you are a
God of mercy and compassion. Surround them with love and support. God,
use us your people to be your hands and feet.
Help us to notice those who are hurting, to speak

(02:37):
words of hope, to offer kindness, to be light in
the darkness. God, make us sensitive to the quiet pain
of others, and bold enough God to remind them that
there is help, that there is hope, and there is healing.
Any You, Lord, we know that you are the giver
of life and that every breath is a sign of
your grace. So today God, we speak life to everywhere soul. God,

(03:01):
we declare that despair will not win, that hope will rise,
and that your love will reach into every shadow and
bring light. Oh thank you Father for being our refuge,
for being our strength and our ever present help in
times of trouble. God, we rest in the promise that
you are not finished yet. Poor God, giving courage, give

wisdom in the name of Jesus. If you are someone
