Speaker 1 (00:00):
Nobody, And I do mean nobody doesn't like young early

(00:03):
morny praise party. I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time
right now for today's word. It's time y'all to clean house.
It's time to clean house. First Kings fifteen eleven and
twelve says Asa conducted himself well before God, reviving the
ways of his ancestor David. He cleaned house and throughout

(00:26):
all the idols his predecessors had made. You know, unfortunately,
our past can limit our futures if we aren't purposeful
and careful. Sometimes we believed the same destructive, limiting, defeating
thoughts so long that they've become a part of who
we are. Maybe it has started in how we were raised.

(00:49):
We heard our parents or our grandparents say negative and
defeating words. If it ain't one thing, it's another. Death
comes in threes. I'm so broke. Everybody in our family
had high blood pressure, die, beaties or whatever. That's just
the way it's been. No, when we learn better, we
do better, we eat better, we handle ourselves better. We

(01:13):
won't speak those negative words. We know what the Word
of God says, and we speak what it says. We
know that the word says life and death or in
the power of the tongue, So we choose to speak life.
We wouldn't let some person move into our house and
steal from us or destroy our house or our family. Right,
So imagine fear, worry, doubt, and insecurity living in your house,

(01:37):
dragging you down, stealing your joy, taking your peace. That
may be the way it's been and what you've seen
model your whole life, but it's not going to be
moving forward. It's a new day. It's time to serve
the admiction. Notice, it's time to clean house. Like King Asa,
did you need to evict some tenants that have been

(01:59):
living rent free in your mind? See? The good news
is you're in charge. You determine what stays in your mind.
You need to tell Fear you're evicted. I'm not living
afraid of what might happen. My future is in God's hand.
Tell worry, you've been with me long enough. You've lost
your lease. Tell doubt your time is up. I have

(02:20):
some new rules. You got to go. Tell insecurity you're
no longer welcome here. Get out. See I'm not gonna
be intimidated by you, y'all. It's time to clean the
house and make room for the amazing things God has
in store for your future. Father, God, thank you that
we could take the bold steps to remove the negative,
defeating thoughts that we need to get out of our lives.

(02:43):
We can't do it on our own, so we ask
for your help to break and get rid of whatever
needs to be removed. Help us clean our house in
Jesus' name. That's your word for today. Take an applied
to your everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged
and inspire. It's your early morning praise party. I am

(03:03):
Sherry Mackey.
