Today's Word 05-02-25: Get Your Passion Back

Nobody does it like your early morning praise party. I
am Sherry Mackie at his time. Right now for today's word,
get your passion back. Job one ten says, have you
not put a hedge around him and his household? In
everything he has? In today's scripture, Satan wanted to test Job,

(00:22):
but he knew God had a hedge of protection around
him and his family. Here's what this encourages me in today.
The enemy couldn't just go in and overwhelm Job with adversity.
This shows us that the enemy can't even touch you
without God's permission. Job loved God and Job walked in integrity.

(00:43):
But he suffered all this trouble and lost his business,
his help, his family. He got so discouraged that he
sat down among the ashes. I think what we need
to understand is that God loved Job. He was faithful

(01:03):
to Job. He knew what he had placed on the
inside of Job. Y'all. Job got his passion back. He
looked up to heaven and he said to the God
he loved and trusted, I know my redeemer lives. He
was saying, God, I don't understand why this happened, but

(01:24):
I do trust you. God not only restored Job's health,
but he gave him double his possessions and a long
and fulfilling life with his family. If you feel as
though you're sitting in the ashes of life, so to speak,
breathing over what you've lost, what didn't work out, or
what you're up against, you can know that God wouldn't

(01:47):
allow it in your life if you weren't gonna if
it wasn't gonna come together for your good. Oh, you
can be encouraged. You can go ahead and celebrate. You're
gonna come out better, stronger, and more confident than you've
ever been before. I want you to get your passion
back and then get ready. You're gonna say, look what

(02:10):
the Lord has done. Father God, thank you for your
protection over our lives. Thank you for watching over us
and controlling our times and even our testing. God, we
believe there is a hedge about us, about our family
and what we own, and that as we move forward,
you will bring us out better off than before. We

(02:33):
know God that our redeemer lives in Jesus' name. That's
your word for today. I want you to take that,
apply that to your everyday life, and you continue to
be encouraged and inspired. It's your early What He Praise party.
