Ohio State, Monsor to Lane cornerback, Lsu Ruben main defensive
end from Miami, and.

Now, the likelihood is that the Jets are likely going
to take either R Bell Reese or David Bailey with
the second pick, and if the Cardinals don't go offensive line,

those guys are taken is actually monster to land In
the cornerback, even though some people would think that he's

So right away you're thinking, Okay, RVL Reese going you understand,

Mendoz are going number one, that's fine. Monster de Lane
is probably gonna go top five. I wouldn't be surprised
he goes to the Giants Monsorter de Lane and the
Giants feels like kind of not a lock, but kind
of close to a lock as I can see.

top ten, now, guess what they get to do. Now

pick defensive ends with sub thirty two inch arm length.
I think he measured at thirty one and whatever. People

that's happens every year. Players fall in the draft. Let's
talk about Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles for a second.

There's no godly reason why those two should fall, but
they could because inside linebackers are seen as replaceable. They're
seen as players you can get in the second and
third round to have the same value as first round picks.
Even though some people think Sonny Styles is quote unquote
a specimen six four two forty, ran as fast as
some of the cornerbacks, plays well in coverage. But again

he plays middle linebacker, which some people think is a
niche like easily recyclable position.

don't think though, he's worth the pick at twelve because
I think, honestly, I think Kile Down is going.

can play the run. He is about as perfect a
safety that to do all this stuff that you need

him to do. The issue that hurts him his size
is average. He's like six foot two oh five maybe
five eleven something like that. So the size won't wow you.
His play will. So you're saying Caleb, I say, Caleb downs,

I think if the other five defensive players that we've
talked about are gone, I think you have to because
in between the Chiefs and the Cowboys is the Bengals
and Dolphins, who both also had really bad defense. The
Dolphins are going into a rebuild. The Bengals are similar
the Cowboys. They had a really good offense and almost
no defense. They lost a lot of best players. I

am okay trading ahead to number nine with Kansas City
because likely what it would cost you is that third
round pick you got from the Niners, and that would
probably be about it.

So, according to the NFL Draft Trade value Chart, the
Chiefs number nine selection is worth one.

Three hundred and fifty points.
Speaker 1 (11:35):
Okay, well, the Cowboys number twelve pick is worth twelve
hundred points. Dallas tossing in its third round pick, oh,
which is one hundred and thirty two points.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Should get the job done.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Okay, Now, if not a late Day three pick would
suffice on top.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Of the third rounder.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Okay.

Now, the other.

Potential trade that could happen, but less likely, you could
see the Dallas Cowboys in chief swap both round picks
where Dallas would land number nine and number twenty nine
in Kansas City, you now would get twelve and twenty.
That's the less likely scenario, But the first scenario that's
probably going to happen.

Wait wait, wait, so so the Chiefs give the Cowboys
nine and twenty nine and the Cowboys give the Chiefs
twelve and twenty.

Yeah, I would do that all day, fair swap. I
would do that all day.

Now they're saying that that's the least likely scenario. I
think so too, you know. But at the same time,
it's like, okay, so cause again, guys, if you're not
listening to Shane, if you're not following Shane, if you're
not seeing any of his draft n for you, you're
missing it because you're absolutely missing it because what he
just said right there tells you everything that Dallas is doing.

And we just see an out article out on si
dot com for the Dallas Cowboys on a mock trade
to the Kansas City Chiefs, because he's saying Caleb. Caleb's
sitting there in a mock draft at number nine. So
you don't think that the management is seeing what they
need to do. The Dallas Cowboys need to get into
the top ten. The Dallas Cowboys start getting in the
top ten, now, guess what they get to do. Now
they get to start flirting. Now they start to get

better options on a pick. And you know their first
pick is going to mean more than their second pick.
So if you trade and you get the ninth and
twenty ninth, cool, you got the night.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
You got a top ten pick.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
And here's the thing about getting a top ten player
in the NFL, they better.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Perform, and they should perform.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
We've had top ten picks come in play and put
the star on the side of their helmet and give
all out. And guess what you're getting that on the offense.
Now it's start trying to get it on the defense.

And maybe and they have not had the same success
rate on first round picks defensively as now they have offensively.
All other bus have been like Taco Charlton Morris, Claiborne
Mazzi Smith. It's all been defensive guys. By the way,

The defensive man that I that from the Rams that
fell was Jared Verse. He's not. He's not the same
players as a Ruben Bain. But have some people think

that Rubbank could fall just because of the arm length,
which to me is very random and arbitrary.
