Speaker 1 (00:13):
I'll look ahead at the NBA Finals.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Wednesday, June third is Game one, Friday June fifth, Game two.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Those will both be in.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
San Antonio, and then it moves over to New York Monday,
June eighth.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I love to give them the weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yeah, Monday, June eighth, Wednesday, June tenth, and you know,
if necessary, after that, it'll be Saturday, June thirteenth, and
that one will be here.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
So you know, that's exciting to know that.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
You know, you've got Tuesday, June sixteenth, Game six, if necessary,
and it all ends on Father's Day weekend Friday.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
June nineteenth, a possible Game seven.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Tickets as low as four thousand dollars right now for
Game seven, right now for Game one, if you're interested,
I'm looking at tickets as low as eleven hundred dollars.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
You know we needed ll We've done a good job
all year of getting a lot of Spurs fans tickets
to that game. Yeah, we need to try and get
some tickets with these people. Tell you what hit us
up on social media? Do y'all want Spurs tickets? Let
us know if y'all have good luck getting free tickets. Well,
I'm saying we need to hear from the fans see
what they want.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
What do you I mean you can maybe maybe we
can do something for the Rock. That's where I will
be throughout this call because I'm going to be with
the fans.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
You've had you've had some giveaways at the Rock Avenue.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, we've had giveaways.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I've got little koozies and I've got you know, so
I got to actually meet with the promotions department tomorrow morning, uh,
for as we execute our game plan. Uh, you'll know
it's me because I'm out there with a Wimby cutout.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
That's how you can.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Find the one.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Usually I'm at the front of the stage.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, I'm at the front of the stage, next to
this stage and everything else like that.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Be one of the few people that's like close enough
to the top of the cutout.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Pretty much.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
It's a literal life size Winby cutout. It is which
I love that I was able to get for us
because those are hard to get.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yes, but Shane, Yeah, without further ado, I know it's
a championship Sunday. I know that we both happy as
can be, but it is time now to set it off.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
I got a lot of problems with you old people.
You know what really grinds my gash. I would like
to be punch you on the fec I love you.
That's right. It is time once again for me and
Dylan just set off.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
We have beef with a player, a team, personality, or organization,
whatever it is. Dylan, we have beef.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
We're gonna load on it right now.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
And Dylan, I've been sitting on this one for about
two weeks because at one time I was like, I'm
not gonna give this guy any kind of extra publicity.
But it feels like more and more it's gotten worse.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
A sport that I respect overall, but the owner of
it I've grown to respect less and less. Yeah, and
that's Dana White and he has He has been on
a lot of interviews lately where he has pretty much
said that this new age concept of male mental health
and being open about it is bs, it's weak, and
(02:58):
that Mendel't had.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
That kind of luxury.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
That's the kind of stuff that has led Dylan to
a high rate in male suicide.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
That they have to hold in a lot of these feelings.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Last year we saw guys like Karen Lacy, who was
a week from getting drafted take his own life. We
saw our Dallas cowboy Marshaw Kneely take his own life.
We see we've seen plenty of players not just football Nope,
but the football feels like stands out because of the
brain injuries that goes into that, but just the mental
health overall of an athlete, let alone a man, if
they don't think that they can do their job to
be sound about it like, that's something that we need
(03:29):
to fix. And to me, honestly, Dylan as a dad,
as a man, I think it is weak empathetic for
someone to come out and say that you are weak
empathetic for not opening upbout your feelings. How many times
don't have we seen not just like not just suicide rates,
but domestic violence stem from stuff like this, keeping things
away from their partner and and maybe even taking their lives.
Chris ben Waugh and I hate no people to hear
(03:50):
about that. That was another aspect of that led to a
to a big drug use that led to other issues
that went down the line. So no, Dana White, you
I'm not gonna say that word at this up there
God day, you have no right to be in the
sports world and ignore something that's been an epidemic for decades,
not just amongst men, but amongst athletes overall. You need
(04:11):
to be a man and open up about that, and
let other athletes be men and open about their feels
as well, because it ain't weak, it's strength. I like that.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
You know, we get to this part and I always
tit for tat Is he is he swinging positive? Is
he swinging negative? Mayor Gina Ortiz, you just shout her out. No,
we see you, We see what you're doing. You're sneaking
back into the picture. Your front office is telling you
to go to the games. Your front office is telling
(04:42):
you to do this.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Every now and then.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
You like to hit the Spurs with the little left
hand jab and they come back with a powerful punch.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
I'm sure when you were there at Game.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Six, everybody said hello, everybody said hi, go Spurs go.
You actually put something out on social media last night
of your TV screen. Make sure you're careful of what
you take photos of. Mayor Ortiz, nice tequila that you've got,
everything is in very detail.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
You need to be very careful. By the way, we
don't need your support.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Ortiz Jones. We don't need it at all. We haven't
had it all season. In fact, you've even publicly said
you don't like the Spurs, but then you try to
stand behind them in Game six and try to support
them for Game seven.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Are you kidding me? Go back to your hole, leave.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Us alone, Let the city of San Antonio celebrate.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Oh and by the way, Gina Ortiz, I think the
San Antonio Spurs proved to you.
Speaker 2 (05:41):
Move the arena back downtown because this thing is only
getting started.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
In Wimby said it best.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I'm just now getting started and I'm getting addicted to winning.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
That's it totally. And that see, and that was this
week's edition.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
I've said it off. I feel I feel so much
about I've ben't sit on that one dough and I have.
I was like, I'm not gonna give Daniel White any
airtime on my show. But it's gotten worse, and he
keeps talking about it and keeps bringing it up, and
to me, it's weak, empathetic.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Just remember what he promotes, you know. And I love
the US.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
As a sport, but I don't respect him as a man.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Look and being a girl dad and having two teenage
daughters in shout out to Avery she did graduate from
sodomy Or High School. Shout out on Friday, shout out
to her boyfriend Aiden as well, as he graduated from
O'Connor the high school. Sweethearts crossing the finish lines a
day apart from each other.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
It's awesome.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
