Speaker 1 (00:00):
Since the Jam and Sandy show seven thirty one high
today is going to be ninety six. I just thought
i'd let you know that. You know, it's tough to
find out weather forecast these days.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I mean, I know, I keep I keep opening my
weather app on my phone, but then I have to
read it. It's just tell.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Me it in ninety six for a hide today.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Big food eating contest yesterday in Austin.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
I know, did you go there was a chicken what
was it? A chicken wing? It was chicken wing Day yesterday,
by the way, and uh a victory lap down. Rainy
had a chicken wing eating contest. Didn't make it.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yeah, I didn't make it.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
I'd get to better early. I didn't make it.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
But uh, chicken wings not my specialty.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
It's funny that the prize for the wing eating contest
is free wings for a year, plus tickets.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
To the Austin Chicken Wing Festival.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
We had one, don't either.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
I feel like after you're done with a chicken wing
eating contest, you're kind of done with chicken wings for
a little while. You gotta take a break on the
chicken wings.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
If you guys were to enter any kind of eating
contest where it's all about. You know, there's the most
famous one is the hot dog eating contest. Sure, and
I don't know what else they've done it with.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Oh, there's all kinds. I mean, Joey Chestnut dominates all
of that, doesn't matter. He eats peteas, he dumplings, ice cream.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
What do you think you'd have a fighting chance at
in an eating contest? When I watched the hot dog ones,
it's the it's the bread that freaks me out.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
Don't get in water, it's gross, that's disgusting.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I would dominate in coleslaw.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Oh interesting, Yeah, I would dominate in coleslaw.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
You and I should go eat together because I don't
eat the coalslaw? Is that your thing?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
I love?
Speaker 2 (01:48):
It's just let it chopped up. It's cabbage, cabbage.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Yeah, you know I feel about it.
Speaker 5 (01:54):
Are you thinking coleslaw because it's kind of not a
lot of chewing involved, just already shredded, just slide right
down your throat.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Or some barbecue I could.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I love barbecue, but I I have to eat it
very slow. I would that would get disastrous if I
eat it fast? Really, yeah, I would start, you know, hiccupping,
And yeah, it would go, it would go bad.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
I would go.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I would go with the ribs in the contest if
I could hold it and get it in my mind.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, But then that's too much of a gray area.
And when it's done right, that's true, I don't think.
I don't think the officials would allow it. Ever.
Speaker 5 (02:31):
Another thing I get Sandy is my my finished ribs
are his?
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Not quite finished?
Speaker 2 (02:37):
He's just starting.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
He finishes my rib She doesn't.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
Do it right.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
I'm like the weird cartilagey stuff on it.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
He's a lot on the bone. I'm just well, what
about you, guys? I mean, I'm in I'm the barbecue game.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
I would be very good at a jalapeno eating contest.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Oh you would die.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
No, I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
You don't think it would just eat you up.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I can eat hot food. I would be. I would
be very good. And also stinky fishy things like sardines,
things that typically gross people out. I would be good. Oysters.
I would be like stinky fishy thing you know how,
you know how you suck an oyster out? Sometimes instead
of pulling it out with a four ky slurp it out.
(03:17):
Just imagine that ticking them up one half another.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Tricia, save yours. I want to hear what yours is.
I have no idea what it is.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
If the eating contest broke out, I'd be really good
in barbecue. We'll get to Tricia's in just a moment.
JB stinky smelly, fishy things. Oh yeah, and again, mind barbecue.
I'm gonna say Brisket's grab a called numbers eight four,
four to three.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
And I know cave.
Speaker 6 (03:42):
Hello, kind to let you know that we've just moved
to the Austin area and we've tried all the big
name barbecue places out there, and we think that the
most our most favorite is called styles Switch Barbecue and
Cedar Park.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Oh yeah, I've been there.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
It's it's we live pretty close tolec Tricia and I
live pretty close to that. It is very good.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
You're right.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
I don't know if I've been there yet.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
They should they should have. They really should have a
Michelin star. They've been over for fourteen years. There's icy
Brussels sprouts there with balsamic are amazing. They make they
make homemade French fries I don't even want. And then
once at once every day of the week, they have
a special lunch menu like like hot like they have
(04:30):
hot wings, they have a Cuban Ruben Cuban Ruben sandwich.
They have all kinds of really great food. Their food
is amazing.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
I got a question for you.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
I have a question for you guys, because you said
Brussels sprout's at a barbecue joint. Where'd you move here from?
Speaker 6 (04:49):
So we've kind of lived all over. My husband works
for the airline company, an airline company, and we've lived
in Las Vegas for the last fourteen years. It's a
really big foody capital, right. We have every name brand,
miss wine, star chefs in town and we've been to
them all. We really like to eat out and we
have found this place. And actually it was our new
(05:10):
doctor who told me about it, and it's amazing.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I've always thought living in Las Vegas would be cool
because you don't live on the strip. You live outside,
but you got all the world class food, entertainment, resorts, spas,
all that stuff.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Lauren, if you're interested, every days lunch special is the
smoked brisket burger and it looks amazing.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
Yeah. Well, we're on our way to South Padre Island
for the weekend to be with some friends and family.
But trust me, I look weekly to see what it
is to know whether or not we want to eat
there for the special.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
During the week.
Speaker 6 (05:42):
I'm a weekly frequent flyer.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
You guys have fun at the coast and welcome to Austin.
Have a great day.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Thank you all. Bye bye bye.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
The long drive in front of them, the South Padre.
I love Style Switch. I forget about it. The original
was on burnet.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Right next to the Yellow Roads. It was right next
door to the Yellow Row. Is it yeah, I don't
know if it's still there, but it used to be there.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
And then anchor destination where things are in relation to
the Yellow Rows.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
It's like it's like women, what mall isn't near you?
What the topless fire isn't near? Oh my gosh, there's
a there's one in of course. She mentioned the one
in Cedar Park. You guys have everything. There's one in
Drip too. And I went in there once Style Switch
and they it was a seasonal thing. They did a
brisket gumbo that was unbelievable. And then I went to
(06:35):
one of the other Style Switch and I said, hey,
do you have the brisket gumbo? And they were like, no,
we just do that in Dripping Springs. Okay, I know
it was you know it's so good.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
This all started with an eating contest, a chicken wing
eating contest on Rainy Streak last night. So we're kind
of kicking around, who what we would be good at? Tricia,
what would your specialty be?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Pie, I'm gonna eat all the pie. I'm gonna eat everybody.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
An old school where you have to put your hands
behind your back pieting content.
Speaker 5 (07:03):
Well, I mean only if everybody has their hands behind
their back.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
But it's creamy, you can. It goes down fast.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
He's delicious, and I'm pretty much a professional pietter.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Just anyway, in my normal life, could you put away?
I mean, say, it's not an eating contest. Sandy's out
of town, you got a good Girl movie on, you're
in your jammis. Could you eat a whole punk?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
I kid?
Speaker 5 (07:24):
After I eat my Totinos Pizza.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Ninety eight one k back to your all time country favorite.
So forget stream the podcast version of the show. It's
available every day search Jab and Sandy on iHeartRadio app.
And So when I was putting the podcast together a
couple of weeks ago, you know you go through the
show and then you post it, so you hear a
lot of the show. And I heard Someatricia say something
and it just cracked me up, and I want to
(07:49):
play it for everybody because it sounds really funny just
by itself. We were playing minute to Win it and
this was part of a question of who said this,
and listen to what she says, how she and how
she says.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Listen, just listen.
Speaker 5 (08:03):
I'm gonna make him it off for he can't refuse.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
To turn into a mob mom impression.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Was trying to help somebody get the answer.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Yeah, it was like, well, what movie is this line from?
Speaker 5 (08:20):
I'm going to make him it off for he can't refuse?
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Skills one at your all time country favorites. It's the
JB and Sandy Show. Hello, my name is Sandy. This
is JB.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Tricia's here too.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Between the so between the three of us, I was
thinking about this amongst among.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
That's a tricky one. I struggled with that. Now mimentary school.
If it's if it's two, it's between. If it's more
than two, it's a moment I learned something today, Thank
you show.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
I struggled with it well, among the three of us,
we've Tricia's got over fifty years of obliving at Austin.
JB's got over fifty years of I mean, we have
over one hundred and thirty years of Austin right here.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Think about that waterloo.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
It's still one of my favorite favorite jokes is about
what what when they changed? Like the day after I
think you did. You said, I can't steal the joke
from you. You're talking about when Austin was established the
city the next day what they sat around and said,
I remember the good old Austin.
Speaker 3 (09:27):
That's what it is.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I said that in front of city council.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
That's right, that's right. During JV and Sandy Week in German.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
I told that so many layers to that joke.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
I told that joke in German first, that's right, because
the first European settler in Austin was German. The first
people were German and Czech.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah, that was back.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Mackenzie Kelly, the former Austin City council woman, was very
kind and made it JB and Sandy Week a few
years ago in Austin they have big proclamation.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
Mayor Watson came by the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Somebody's tuning in for the first time hearing some guy
go I told that joke in front of the city
council on German and they're going shut up.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
This idiot.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
He's like, pull this leg here and it plays jingle bells.
Right Coming up next, Chris has got the story we love.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
What do you got? We're going to report the news
on trash.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
All right, Well, since we have one hundred and thirty
years of Austin knowledge, I'm going to test you right
now and see if you recognize this quote from an
Austin movie.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
It'd be a lot cooler if you did.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
All right, I'm gonna tell you about that and a
cool new product that is being tied to that quote.
Speaker 3 (10:37):
All right, coming up on the show.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
If you like to give free advice, we're gonna want
to hear from you, especially if it's advice about a
teenager just getting their driver's license. If you've been through
it and you have any advice about it, we're going
to want to talk to you.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
And just a little bit.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Hang on houstin night's get up with JB and Sandy.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
We're fighting the ear nose and eyebrow hair Electrician's fighting
the Whisker War.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
No, we'll do the story.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
We love sorry all right more than thirty Okay, First
of all, I quiz j'all right before we went into
the break. It'd be a lot cooler if you did
what Austin movie is that from that's, of course from
Days and Confused. Of course it is Matthew McConaughey.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
It would be a lot cooler if you did.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Thirty years ago.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
He made that one of the most famous quotes in
the movie, and so now he is bringing that line
to life with a new collaboration with another Austin company, Yetti.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
You guys might have heard of Yetti. They're kind of
a big deal.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
And I remember getting that my first Yetti and being
so excited. It was like gold. Now I opened the
kitchen cabinet and they just come falling out.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah. I remember saying that I'm not spending that kind
of money on on something to drink out of right
that I got one, and you love it, and I
love it.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
I have mine right here.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Oh, I'm a Yetti girl.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
I got the coffee cup, I got the big giant
workout one, I got the at home drink them all.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
I mean, I will buy anything that Yetie puts out.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
So mcconaughe and his wife Camilla, also, along with their
company Pantalonas Organic Tequila, has partnered with Yetti to release
quote a lot cooler limited edition cool The cooler is
custom designed and it's the exact size to hold one
case of Pantalonis tequila.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Who buys a case of tequila?
Speaker 6 (12:26):
And I do?
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Yeah, I mean I'm serious wine, the case.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
Of wine beer, Yeah, case of tequilia.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
You're right, that is a little bit much a little bit.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I mean, I haven't even thought of that. That's a
lot of tequila.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
That's a lot of tequila. I guess you haven't a party.
You just want to always have a cold and ready for.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Cooler.
Speaker 5 (12:56):
Very cool though, that they're teaming up two very very
Austin things teaming up together.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
McConaughey, I do not.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Drink the Devil's liquor anymore? Have you had the Tequi Cantaloni's, Yeah,
sure I have. It's yeah, it's pretty good. There's man,
there's a great tequila scene happening in Austin. Pantaloni's is good.
Lalo is a very.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Good one Austin Roots and my my one of the
ones I've been liking as of Lake Carbuena. It's a
couple guys from Maudie started it really and it's it's incredible.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
I have there.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
I saw a billboard on one eighty three and it's four.
I think it's at tequila and I think it's called
You'll see where I'm going Vera Dono, I think is
what it's called. And the weird thing about it is
it looks like they're partnered with UT because their longhorned
logo is on the billboard.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
And they must be an official partner.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
All that's a partnership.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
It's probably the tequila in the DK all are.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
A gop Yeah yeah, yeah, that makes it's not like
they're getting in the liquor business.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
You can't throw a long hard line now on your stuff.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
You will, no, they'll shut you down fast.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, yeah, rightfully. So you got to protect that. It's valuable,
especially with a liquor. Yeah, Tricia, when when is this cooler?
This promotional thing happened.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
They've just announced that they've partnered on it. There's a
release date or anything right now.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
They should have they should have gym from office space
in the commercial because that was filmed in Austin too.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
They should just have all the commercial.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Very cool. That is the story.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
We love Austin Up with JB and Sandy nuety eight
one is the tape rolling JV. Because you're my save
this one for the archives. I think you're going to
save it.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Hold on, let me fire up the recorder. I just
put some new tape in there.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Oh, thank you very much. It's very nice of you.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
I think this is an ode for the record book
you asked me to write during that Jason al Dean song.
You asked me to write an ode to the Yetti
because of McConaughey his new partnership. So they're promoting both
his tequila and Yetti.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Right.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
So I have written the ode to the Yetti. I
will now perform it. I wonder if the little rusty
though a little bit, a little bit, but you know,
it's like riding the bike. Just get right back on.
And once I got going, I got going, and I'm
now ready to perform, and I would ask that the
Peanut Gallery keep it down so I am not distracted
(15:27):
talking Ode to the Yetti. Bye, say thank you. We've
got YETI cups and YETI mugs, Yetti bowls for fancy pugs,
YETI chairs.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
YETI bags.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
We've got yetti stickers, hats and flags.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
At all.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Now.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
Matthew McConaughey joins the ride. Austin's favorite son with Texas.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Pride was good. He teamed with YETI.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Well, alright, alright, all right now the money in our
wallets vanishes overnight. Yes, YETI, you cost more than a
used Honda Civic. But cheap ice melts fast at NAT's horrific.
(16:31):
We'll skip a vacation. We'll pawn Grandma's ring just to
own the cooler that rules everything. Big finish, coming, goods, finish.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
So here's to you.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
YETI, Austin's pride and joy, the overpriced fortress no heat
can destroy.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
He's still yeah, you felt that way.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's all over here, over all over me ninety eight one.
Cavett's your all time country favorites. It's the JB and
Sandy Show. We want to hear from you, guys, eight
four four to three. And I know Cavett if you
want to give us some free advice. Today we're talking
about teaching a teenager to drive JB.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
We are going through it.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Bro, We've got a seventeen year old been there.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
It's brutal. It just has you on edge and you
you know, you're very close to being complete with their training.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah, she's been going through Trisha's insistence you go to
a professional driving school.
Speaker 4 (17:31):
Yeah, she wanted to do.
Speaker 5 (17:33):
They talk to me into doing the parent led driving,
which I knew from the beginning was going to be
a problem.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
And once we got through the online portion, I was like,
sending her to the instructors.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
There's a lot of attitude in some of the driving lessons.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
And I was like, not for me.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
Yeah, there's this there's an attitude reserved for mom that's
different than reserve in our case, than reserved for dad. Like,
she's pretty chill with me. I don't know what's going
on between you two. But our friend, our good friend, Terry,
she said once, and it stuck with me. She goes,
when your kid starts to drive, it takes praying to
a whole new level.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
God, it is a whole different level of strutting to
look up the patron saint of.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
Driving, of driving.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
The the odds. I don't mean to put fear in
you the statistics of accidents and first year driving is astronomical.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Tim's on the phone. Tim's gone through it. Three Is
that right? Three times?
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Tim? Teaching kids to drive? What's your advice three kids?
Speaker 7 (18:40):
Well, number one, take.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Take a sative lord, Yeah, to.
Speaker 7 (18:46):
Calm your nerves down. But we really we had them
once they got to permanent, we had them drive everywhere.
It didn't matter whether we're going to store church. Our
in laws live like an hour away, so we would
have him drive there.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
And you know, let me just pretty much that Tim,
let me ask you something, if tell me if this
is a good idea, because Trician I bounced it off
of her and she had She looked at me like
I was crazy. I said, I think we should unannounced
wake her up really early in the morning and say
you got to drive now and go.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Because you never know you got you gotta be ready
to go.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
It's interesting.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
So wake up, wake her up, and she's in the
cart in the driver's scene than you.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
Because Tim is out a dumb idea.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
No, that's not a good idea.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Oh, come on, they.
Speaker 7 (19:39):
Got to experience everything. They gotta, you know, experience all
that and the traffic. And we were in the Bay
Area in California, so they we made them.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
What I'm trying to master right now is we're I'm
doing that now, letting her drive anywhere we need to go,
which I'm constantly stressed.
Speaker 4 (19:59):
But I'm trying to master the you're doing great, that's great,
that's great, break break, break great.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
I'm trying to.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Keep that cool, calm you're doing it voice, but also
avoiding Rex and driving up on the curb.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
It's so stressful.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Yeah, it is, Tim, Go ahead.
Speaker 7 (20:17):
Do you ever know that that imaginary break on your
side doesn't work right?
Speaker 5 (20:22):
Right?
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Yeah, have a great day. All appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
You're like, you're having a hoe down man, And I'll
tell you it was so scared. Listen how stupid I
was when when my dog we moved to like South
Congress area. She was fifteen, and she took her own
money and bought a mopet. Oh boy, fifteen okay, and
but you legally can if it's under fifty CC's And
(20:50):
I was like, okay. I was all excited because I
love cars and motorcycles and all this stuff. And then
after she bought it, I was like, oh my god,
what did I let her too? And I ran out
and bought one, and then for like a couple of weeks,
I had her just follow me, riding the scooter right
(21:11):
the practice, going to the places that she would hang
out Zilker Park, house Park, skate park, you know, things
like that. And then for two weeks I followed her Wow,
and then turned her loose, and I'm like, in Austin terrifying. Yeah, yeah,
And then I thought about it. It's like when I
(21:31):
learned to drive, I was living in Georgetown, where there
were only there weren't even that many lights back then,
Like it was so easy compared to navigating Austin. You
guys are probably like just minutes away from being on
one eighty three. Oh yeah, right by the t road,
which is on a whole different level.
Speaker 4 (21:50):
They're going seventy five plus.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
And she's like, I think I can do it, mom,
And I'm like, girl, you you didn't know you had
to stop at all the stop sides.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
You can'tnot drive on the toll road.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Yet She's gonna be okay, though at some point you're
gonna have to.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
Let it go, I know, but that point is not yet. Well,
practicing we got to practice.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
We gotta still practice some more, and then I think
one day you just have to be like it's in
God's hands now, like just turn it over and just
pray until she gets back home.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Done. We got about the thirty seconds. What's your advice?
All right, I'll save it for another day.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
But my older son learned how to drive in one
of the fire cars that I brought home. We were
driving in a parking lot. We got a call.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
I let him hit all the lights and siren, go
about a thousand feet and say stop right here.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Thanks to man so Hey for just getting here.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
You've missed out on a whole bunch of stuff, so
make sure you stream the podcast version of the show.

things that we learned today. We learned things because we're smart.

We do some good learn ting.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
We did some good learning today.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
We learned that Edward played JB and Sandy's Minute to
Win It trying to win a pair of Thomas Rhet tickets.
Didn't quite answer all ten questions and under a minute.
So tomorrow we're playing again seven to ten and we're
going to give away two pairs of Thomas Rhet tickets.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
Another thing we learned there was a bigfoot sighting in
Rhode Island. A guy was driving really early in the morning,
about five am and he had a slam on his
brakes because a bigfoot ran across the road, which that
in itself is an amazing story.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Yeah, bigfoot never runs long the list. Yeah, he just
kind of cruises bloops along.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
When the police were asking the dude.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
About what did he look like, We don't know if
anybody he's ever been that close, he was like it
was a big blur, but there were no boobs.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
That was his takeaway.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
Yeah, just proves it all male species, you got all
guys are like, dudes are dudes, Dudes are dudes.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Notice the boobs.
Speaker 5 (24:14):
And finally, Sandy sometimes likes to embarrass me on the radio,
and you definitely did.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Today.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
I pulled out a clip of Trisha.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
We were we were playing Minute to Win It and
she asked a question, what does this line come from?
Name the movie that this line comes from? And I
was listening to it when I was putting the podcast
together and it just cracked me up.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Here's the line, I'm gonna make him an offer he
can't refuse. The answer was God, God, bab that was
my mobster impression. I'm gonna make him an offer he
can't refuse.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Wait, what happened to Tricia being an executive producer of
the podcast?
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Oh, it's some stuff. It's a team effort now, Oh really?
Speaker 8 (24:53):
Is?
Speaker 4 (24:53):
She does one part and then I do the party hates.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Yeah, So I do something real fast and then she
does something it takes forever and she has a million questions,
but we.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Don't have a million.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
That's great, there, everybody, We'll do it again tomorrow.
Speaker 8 (25:07):
Bye Bye, Peters, JP and Sandy's last laugh of the
hour on ninety eight one kvet, how many a's could
you put in one street name? How many a's. That's
too many a's. That's why if anyone comes in Hawaii.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
I'm talking to the world right now.
Speaker 8 (25:23):
If you come to Hawaii, don't ask for directions. All
the streets down the stay, you'll ask for directions and
they'll be like.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
Oh, that's easy about it. This is how you'll get there.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
You just go down.
Speaker 8 (25:35):
