Speaker 1 (00:03):
Did Jubile show on demand, just in case you thought
you couldn't find another way to label criminals as really stupid. Sorry,
I'm pausing because I'm yeah, I'm like editing in my
head because I don't want it, and then I'm reading
this headline and it's just so ridiculous to me. There's
a parody website called rent a Hitman dot Com and
(00:26):
pretty much anybody listening to this right now heard rent
a Hitman dot Com and you're like, Nope, not gonna
sign up for that, yeah, because that's probably not how
you actually hire a hit man. It started in two
thousand and five, but since it started, emails started coming
in from people who thought it was real, and it's
helped arrest more than thirty people over the years. And
(00:48):
here's the newest dumb criminal that phar fell for it.
Last week, the FBI arrested a twenty one year old
guy in Tennessee named Josiah Garcia after he got in
touch to see if rent a Hitman was hiring. So, yeah,
he actually submitted his resume and asked about obtaining employment
as a hitman to Rent a Hitman dot com.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Did you just literally go to rent a Hitman dot
com I did. I sit next to producer Brad and
I'm looking over at his computer.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
You don't sign up, bread, No, you can get Calm
a black belt and they have seventeen thousand other field
operatives in the United States. I could join.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
That's a good idea, right, How do you go to
the website rente Hitman dot com and actually think that
it's a real thing. That's like they did this thing
in La a long time ago where they did gun
exchange for tattoo removal to catch gang members, right that
had committed murders and stuff like that. So they would go,
we'll remove your gang tattoos, right, and then you bring
(01:54):
your firearm, you exchange it and we'll remove your gang tattoos.
But they keep a list of all the tattoos. So
the dudes would show up to get their tatto, they're
getting tattoos removed and turning their firearm, and their gun
would have a body on it and the tattoo would
be like from a witness that saw them, and they'd
all be getting arrested. Yeah, so cop sketching like that
all the time, but it's getting a lot easier with
the Internet.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, yeah. Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
What is one of the dumbest ways you ever got caught?
Calls up eighty eight three four three one o six one.
Got caught doing anything?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Right?
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Have you been that dumb to go to Rene hitman
dot com and actually submit your resume for a job
as a hitman? Calls up eighty eight three four three
one six one. Text in four one six one.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
This guy said that he was looking for a job
that paid well and he had military experience so it
could come in handy, and he added quote, what I
can say is I enjoy doing what I do, so
if I can find a job that's similar to it,
such as this one, put.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Me in coach.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I mean you was giving his all for the interview
process to become a hit man.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
I never got caught trying to be a hit man,
but I did get caught stocking someone on social So
there was this There was this dude that I was
hanging out with and it didn't go very well and
he started ghosting me. So I was showing my friend
who he was and she didn't like the situation. So
she's like, I'm blocking him, so from my phone she
went to block him and then I got really upset
(03:14):
because I don't like to block people or whatever. So
I went back in and refollowed him, and thinking he
wouldn't notice. Well, he screenshotted the refollow and sent me
a message and is like question mark.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
He's like, oh, whoopsies, it must have been the Internet.
I don't know what happened.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
See, that's the thing. You can always tell when someone
blocks you and unblocks you based on that. Right you
pay attention, you can see that they're you can't you
go to their page, you can't see anything, and then
all of a sudden they're following you again.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
You're like, oh, they have me blocked for some reason.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Yeah, And then I felt really stupid and I had
no good excuse.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Calls up eighty eight three four three one six one,
text in four one o six one. What is the
dumbest way you got caught doing something? We're asking the
question because the website rent hitman dot Com has been
operating since two thousand and five. Somebody started as a joke,
but since then, over thirty people have been arrested trying
to either hire a hitman or gain employment as a
hit Victoria. What's one of the dumbest ways you got
(04:06):
caught doing.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
Something, Well, I feel like the dumbest way I never
got caught doing something was just telling all myself. Like
when I was in high school, I went to this
party that was kind of like underground, and I went twice.
The second time though, I came back and I asked
my mom if I could go. The first time, I
lied to my mom about it. So second time, when
(04:28):
I got home.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
She's like, how was it? And I was like, oh
my gosh. She was so much fun. It was way
better than the first time.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
She's like, the first time, huh, and like that just happened,
didn't it.
Speaker 1 (04:37):
She was hu the first time in my head that
I was thinking about, like if I went the first.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Time, though, yeah, I tried backtracking and be like, oh no,
that was just to She's like, Victoria, just stop, just go.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
I'm like, okay.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
That reminds me of the time that Victoria was working
remotely and took a four hour lunch and didn't do
the math.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
When she was telling me when some of the.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Work was done, she's like, well, yeah, I started it
this time, and you know, and then I went to
lunch and then I got it finished. By this time,
I was like, Victoria, that's a four hour lunch. You're
no longer allowed to work remote.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
I was eating, There's a lot to eat in that lunch.
That's so bad.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Calls up eighty eight three four, three one to six
one text in four one of six. One someone texted
in said, when I was in junior high, my best
friend and I snuck out of her house and went
to Denny's. Apparently her parents' friends were there. And told
Hannah that's the worst place to go if you're a
kid's sneaking out, Like you know, your parents' friends are
going to be there.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
At some point.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
They're gonna be giving the moons over Miami. I mean
that's where all the old people go, right, They're going
to be there.
Speaker 6 (05:34):
I miss moons.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
I'm sitting there getting the Moon's over Miami, and I
look over and I'm like, wait a second. Those are
Janet's kids and they should not be out of this
time of night. I'm calling your parents. Joe's time for
what's trended with Nina on The jewfil Show, giving you
the hottest school from around the neighborhood, anyhood, anywhere, whatever's
(05:57):
going on in the world, Nina's got what's trended. It's
just about can give you right now on the Jewel Show.
So it's with Nina.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
I think that's my favorite. It's trending. Na.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
We're coming off of Coachella weekend, and what happens there
does not always stay there. Did you see the video
of Sean Mendes and Camilla Cabello reunited making out in
the middle of like people. Yes, Okay, before I tell
you the details, I want to ask you this question,
all of you, wherever you're at, just think about this.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
If you are in a room alone with your ex,
would you hook up with them?
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Now?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
That does This doesn't mean you're getting back together.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
It doesn't mean anything other than if you are in
a room alone with your ex, would you just and
nobody would.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Know, nobody. You're taking this very seriously. You don't have
to answer.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
I just want you to think about it for yourself,
because maybe it'll help you understand their situation a little
bit more so. They used to be together, they were together,
they broke up. Shawn Mendes was very publicly broken hearted.
Allegedly Camilla had been seeing somebody else and now they're
drunk at Coachella, and they just nound each other and
just you know, all over the place, like it just
(07:12):
it feels good to watch because you know, you're just
like I wanted this for them.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
Right out there in the open.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
They who cares well?
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Apparently I saw the headline that like at some point
she was grinding on him and he pushed her away
when people were taking pictures like get away, don't do that.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
I think they were being playful.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
I saw that too, and that source also said that
after they made out, he walked away from her. I
don't know what's true. All I know is what I saw,
and that was the kissing part.
Speaker 7 (07:37):
Nina.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
If you were in a room with your exelon, would
you yes? Mine's a hard no.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
I hate that person, and I still say, yeah, I
know so bad. It's time for the jubile cash coat.
Your chance in a thousand bucks right now, Nina. What's
the cash goat? It's grand and g r A n D.
Use that word right now.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Put it in. It hits one O six one Seattle
dot com and you can win a thousand dollars cash.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Good luck, all right, put that in right now. I'm
still laughing at I hate that person.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
But yes, the.
Speaker 8 (08:14):
Jubile show on demand.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's another Jewbile phone.
Speaker 9 (08:18):
Frametday Mornings on the twenties.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Hello hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hey, Yeah, I
was looking for hold on, this is this paper? Oh
my god, I lost some paper? Uh I was looking
for uh. I can't remember the name now. I think
the last thing was is this uh someone?
Speaker 8 (08:49):
Yes it is.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Hello, hang on, let me just hold on, let me
let me stop first second, let me just pull over here. Okay, Hello, hello, Hi,
I'm My name is P Dakins. A call from moving
going on?
Speaker 9 (09:06):
Wait a second, Wait a second. Is this a moving company?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yes, this is Hey. I'm the driver with your stuff
that's delivering it. And I know I got a phone
call because you You talked to the office about the
fact that we're a little bit late, and I apologize.
Speaker 9 (09:20):
Yeah, you're like over a week late, right.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Yeah, so I wanted to give you an update on
when your stuff's going.
Speaker 10 (09:26):
To be When is it going to be here? What
was going on the beginning of that phone calls?
Speaker 9 (09:31):
You guys?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Once again, I got a move sound what's that?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
I'm I'm sorry I had to move.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
I pulled over to the side of the road, and
I had to move, but I could still kind of
hear you.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
What's that? Well, you know what, I can kind of here.
Speaker 9 (09:44):
I can kind of hear my rocket sing in the backgrounds.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I'm sorry, hell's going on?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
What?
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Hello?
Speaker 9 (09:49):
What are you still?
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Let me pull over real quick?
Speaker 6 (09:52):
You can't.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Sorry about that?
Speaker 1 (09:55):
I was big. They were telling me I had to
move where I had pulled over. So I tellry about
that one.
Speaker 9 (10:00):
What is going on?
Speaker 10 (10:00):
And why is my stuff over a week late? When
we paid extra for it to be shipped on time?
And it sounded like my motorcycle was being ridden.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
It sounded like your motorcycle, the one that you're having
shipped with us.
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Was getting ridden.
Speaker 10 (10:14):
When I picked up the phone, it sounded windy in
the background. It sounded like you were on a motorcycle
or something.
Speaker 9 (10:21):
What is going on?
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah, no, we have your motorcycle, yes, but no, I
was not on a motorcycle. We drive a truck or
a moving company. So the motorcycle is on the truck
like like the rest of your stuff, and so it
is taking a little longer than expected.
Speaker 9 (10:40):
Why is that when we paid extra?
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Well, it's just because WHOA I told you not to
go yet.
Speaker 9 (10:47):
Do you know what?
Speaker 8 (10:50):
You?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Sorry about that? But the driver started driving when I
was sockets. I need to pull over again?
Speaker 4 (10:55):
Hello?
Speaker 9 (10:57):
What's the going on?
Speaker 8 (10:59):
Pull full up?
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Sorry? What we pull over again? We pulled over?
Speaker 9 (11:02):
What is going on? Are you riding my motorcycle?
Speaker 11 (11:05):
Of what?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Full disclosure because I want to be honest with you,
so so well, well I can tell your set and yes, uh,
we had a little bit of a problem with the
truck and so I figured, hey, you got to get
this motorcycle to you. So we've been uh, you know,
riding the motorcycle to you.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
I guess that wasn't what you wanted.
Speaker 9 (11:30):
But are you kidding me?
Speaker 10 (11:32):
You guys are riding my motorcycle across the country.
Speaker 12 (11:35):
What the.
Speaker 8 (11:37):
Fuck?
Speaker 9 (11:37):
I don't think yet. Hello, did he still hairy?
Speaker 13 (11:40):
Pull over?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
You that you I'm not talking to you.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
I could not hurt the driver pull over and I'm
trying to get I'm trying to talk to you. Okay,
he pulled over again?
Speaker 9 (11:52):
So hello, I cannot believe this.
Speaker 10 (11:55):
You guys stole my motorcycle calling the top right, Well.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Don't do that because this is actually from the Jubil
Show doing a phone brink on you and your boyfriend
Philip set you up.
Speaker 9 (12:04):
What it's a joke, Philip, Are you kidding me?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
He said that you guys moved in the movers early
and oh you have your prize motorcycle.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
I'm back of the truck and you wanted me to
mess with you.
Speaker 10 (12:16):
Oh my god, I've freaking I've just been freaking out
for the last half an hour thinking you guys.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Rode the Jubile Show on Demand First is on the
phone today for our first day follow up. She's getting
ghosted by a dude named Dave that you went on
a date with, and she has no idea why. So
we're going to see if we can help her out. Sarah,
thanks for coming on the show. Before we ask about
your dat and stuff. How long has it been since
you heard from Dave?
Speaker 8 (12:43):
Yeah, thank you guys. It's been a couple of weeks.
Speaker 11 (12:46):
And yeah, just I just feel really dumb right now
because I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
I mean, I know that feeling. Don't feel dumb, but
let's try to figure it out. So take us through
your date. What happened?
Speaker 11 (13:00):
Okay, So I mean we literally hit off immediately, like
we bonded over our you know, our love for dirt stuff,
you know, en stuff like that, and they're kind of
thinking just slowed efforts.
Speaker 8 (13:12):
Really like we found ourselves laughing.
Speaker 11 (13:15):
And sharing stories throughout the evening, like total great nights.
And then like as the night progressed towards the end,
stavely then for a kiss.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
And okay, okay, so you got so you kissed it.
Speaker 8 (13:34):
Everything like they had a really good good time.
Speaker 11 (13:39):
And you know, I kind of want to.
Speaker 8 (13:42):
Pursue things with him, like, you know, see where things
would go, and you.
Speaker 11 (13:46):
Know, because I'm usually not into people this quickly, but
we just, I don't know, I just felt like we
were in complete alignment. And you know, like I said,
I just I just feel like an idiot right now
because maybe I'm misread the size and maybe I came
out too strong.
Speaker 8 (14:01):
I kissed him back. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I mean, if he leaned into you and he kissed you,
that's not your fault for kissing him back.
Speaker 8 (14:08):
Yeah, yeah, I guess, or do not calling me back.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Is there anything that you can think of that was
awkward at all on your date?
Speaker 11 (14:18):
I mean, well, I mean we kind of had like
a playful fight we were talking about this new book
that just came out on Ceenn, this Mabel Feel or whatever,
and he's talking about leadership, and you know, he just
kind of day just kind of felt like I was
way too into the leadership thing and that things should
not be that stringent. And I was like, oh, you know,
(14:39):
if you's got to be a leader, you should be
a good leader. I mean, I just didn't think it
was that big of a deal because he laughed about it,
but it was a little awkward that he just felt
so strongly and kind of got a little emotional about it,
and then not that I I don't know, I.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Can't imagine that being a deal breaker, though. I feel
like that's kind of fun to have that kind of
a different perspectives in the person that you're on a
day with.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
I mean, unless yeah, I mean some people take things
too seriously though, right, and you can't even there's some
people that literally you can't argue with. They just like
actually get upset all the time if you've got to
even playful argue, right.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yeah, didn't feel like Dave was getting upset.
Speaker 11 (15:12):
I just I'm not really upset, but emotional, Like I
don't know if I triggered him in some way.
Speaker 8 (15:18):
What I was talking about.
Speaker 11 (15:19):
Reminded him of someone, but it just seems a little awkward.
Speaker 8 (15:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
Okay, well, we'll see if we can figure it out
for you. Then we'll play a song come Back, and
then call him and see if we get aim to
tell you why he's ghosting you, and maybe get you
another date if you want another date after you hear it, Okay, okay, cool,
all right, we'll play a song come back and get
your first day follow up next. Right in the middle
of your first day followup if you're just joining us,
Sarah is on the phone and she's getting ghosted by
a dude named Dave.
Speaker 3 (15:44):
So we're about to call.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Him and see if we can get him to tell
us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her another date.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Sarah.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Before we call him, though, real quick, recap your date
for everybody who just joined us.
Speaker 11 (15:55):
Yeah. So, like I said, we hit it off on
some true nerd stuff and talk about book, and you know, we.
Speaker 9 (16:01):
Had a great date. He even leaned in for a kiss.
Speaker 11 (16:03):
I kissed him back, and you know, we had a
little awkward verbal tuggle war nothing serious. He did get
a little emotional and then he just stopped texting me like, well,
he didn't text me back at all, like just.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
But you did say at the end of the night
he leaned in for a kiss though, So you guys
had a little moment.
Speaker 8 (16:22):
Yeah, we did. It was nice.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Yeah, I mean that's weird when that happens and then
you get ghosted, right if the ending is awkward and
there's no hug or kiss or anything like that, then
you can kind of tell that they didn't enjoy it.
But you actually kiss someone and then you don't hear
from him, it's.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Like mixed messaging. Yeah, it is.
Speaker 1 (16:39):
So we're about to call him right now. Are you ready, Sarah?
Speaker 8 (16:42):
I'm ready.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Hi may speak to Dave. Please speaking Dave? What's up?
Speaker 1 (17:04):
How are you man?
Speaker 6 (17:05):
Hey, I'm good. Who is this?
Speaker 1 (17:07):
This is actually Jeuble from the Jebel Show. It's a
radio show.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Yeah, and there's more people here too, Dave. Just so
you know, I'm Nina, I'm Victoria.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
And we're all from the Jewel Show, which is a
radio show, right, And I don't know if you've heard
of it or not, but.
Speaker 14 (17:18):
Hi, Hi, Hi, Hi, what do you what do you
guys com for win a prize or something.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
We do a segment on our show called the First
Date follow Up. It's where if you go out on
a date with someone and then end up ghosting them,
they can email us to get you on the phone
and find out why you're ghosting them. And we got
an email about you from someone who listens to the
show that you're not calling back after a date.
Speaker 12 (17:40):
Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Actually, Okay, who do you think it is?
Speaker 6 (17:46):
I know it's Sarah.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Okay, so why is she getting ghosted?
Speaker 14 (17:53):
And I feel bad because of the past couple of
weeks I've I've actually been with some personal issues emotionally.
I had a family emergency, I had a death in
the family, and it just left me completely overwhelmed, and
I wanted to reach out to her, but I've just been.
Speaker 12 (18:14):
Kind of in a funk in this turmoil, and I
just it's.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
It's consumed me and I'm just kind.
Speaker 14 (18:19):
Of withdrawn from everybody socially, like Laking and my other friends,
you know, the Saarah obviously now, and I just I
feel bad and I've been I've been meaning to get
back to.
Speaker 12 (18:31):
Her, and I didn't mean to ghost her, but.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
I feel terrible, you know, Dave, I will say, this
is probably the most valid reason to ghost anybody. Yeah,
because sometimes when you just have to excuse yourself from life,
like you get that pass and I'm sorry about your loss,
and I'm sorry about all the emotional stuff that you've
been dealing with, but I think that this is a
forgivable Yeah.
Speaker 12 (18:57):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
Yeah, I mean, I feel bad and in my regret.
Speaker 12 (19:00):
No, I'll reaching out to her to what I know.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
There's certain things that are definitely excusable.
Speaker 7 (19:04):
Right.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
You don't owe really anybody anything, but definitely someone that
you went on one date with. If something like that happens,
you don't really feel free to not feel bad about that.
I think.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah, I don't know you, but you prioritizing your needs
I guess when it comes to that mental health space.
Speaker 14 (19:19):
Yeah, yeah, I'm going to touch base and definitely definitely reached.
Speaker 12 (19:25):
Out for sure.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Well, why don't you touch base right now?
Speaker 6 (19:28):
Yeah, I mean, I guess I could pick her right now. Actually,
so that's what I want.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
No, you don't need to text her, you can actually
just talk to her because she's actually on the other line.
Who's been listening the whole time and wants to.
Speaker 12 (19:38):
Talk to you.
Speaker 14 (19:39):
Oh wow, okay, hey Sarah.
Speaker 8 (19:46):
Oh my god, Dave. Like I'm almost in tears.
Speaker 11 (19:50):
I'm so sorry, yet mute it myself because I just
I'm so emotionally overwhelmed.
Speaker 8 (19:55):
I'm so so sorry about your life. Like, I know,
we just had a first dating. You don't know me,
and no one should ever tell you how you should.
Speaker 12 (20:03):
Heal what that looks like.
Speaker 9 (20:04):
And I'm just I'm just so sorry, you know, I
feel stoop tired now.
Speaker 11 (20:08):
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
It's it's all good. I feel bad for not like just.
Speaker 14 (20:13):
At least getting back to you to let you know
what what would it happened, like just the gist of it,
And I I apologize, but I will say that, you know,
I'm still kind of getting over things, but it's going
to take some time. But I mean, if if I
want to spend time with someone, I mean, I'd like
it to be you for sure, you know, so I
hope that that's you knows some indication of going forward.
Speaker 8 (20:37):
So sleep, yes, please take your time. I just I
feel so bad for like putting you on.
Speaker 14 (20:42):
Full blasting No no, sorry, bad, Well let's let's maybe
aim to like meet up.
Speaker 12 (20:48):
And like, you know, I don't know, a week or
so and just.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
Yeah, hang out.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
I haven't asked the question yet, but I'll ask it,
and I think I already know the answer. Dave, would
you like to go on another date with Sarah and
we or so?
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I think it's fine?
Speaker 14 (21:04):
Yeah, absolutely, yes, yes, awesome.
Speaker 6 (21:12):
I'm super excited.
Speaker 11 (21:13):
I'm sorry I feel like such a geek right now,
but I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
I mean, I love this.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Yeah, there's an example of when life stays life in
you got to give people grace in that space and
then you'll get a second date.
Speaker 14 (21:27):
Yeah, Sarah, I'll as soon as we hang out all
I'll text you and we can set something up for sure,
I promise.
Speaker 8 (21:34):
Okay, looking forward to it.
Speaker 12 (21:36):
Thank you, of course, talk to you soon.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
Yeah, Dave, I mean, listen, take your time. I'm so
glad to hear from you.
Speaker 11 (21:46):
I'm so very sorry about what's going on and what's happening.
And if you want to talk in between, and we
don't have to exactly meet up.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
We can just have a conversation, you know, to.
Speaker 11 (21:56):
Talk about things if you would like, and you know,
or tech either way, I just look forward to you
connecting with you soon. And just so you know, you know,
I recently, like within the last year, so went through
something very similar. So I definitely know where you are
and you know I may be a good ear, So just.
Speaker 8 (22:17):
Let me know.
Speaker 6 (22:18):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
Thank you, all right, sweet and reach out when you're
ready for your date because we'll pay for it. But
like with that, make sure you do it like right before,
because we're too I'm like to unorganized and I will
forget about it.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Forward to so.
Speaker 6 (22:32):
Definitely will all right, take care.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
The Jubile Show on demand Geubles Dirty Little Secret.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
Hello, what's up? You have a dirty little secret?
Speaker 6 (22:56):
I mean walk out here? So yeah, dirty little secret.
Speaker 7 (23:04):
So I've been well, I was an only child for
over fifty years, and I've always kind of known that
my what I thought was my biological dad was he left.
He walked out on my mom and I soon was
right after I was born. And so you know, I've
been in contact with him remotely, you know a few
(23:25):
times over the years, but he looks nothing like me.
So did the twenty three and me thing, And turns
out that my intuition was correct. He was not my
biological father. But it turns out that my biological father
was a sperm donor. And so now am I not
(23:47):
only an only child. I'm up to I think twenty
six or twenty eight siblings.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
That's cool, Oh my god.
Speaker 7 (23:56):
But anyway, the dirty, so, the dirty little secret it
is is that the father who walked out on us
has no idea that she's not my father. So when
my when my mom, when my mom passed, she never
told anybody.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Oh wow, that's crazy, that really is.
Speaker 7 (24:16):
But yeah, the crazy thing is it turns out that
the sperm donor dad was a sperm donor twice a
week for over nine years.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Oh wow, So like, yeah, I have.
Speaker 9 (24:28):
Sometimes you got to do what you gotta do.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Money many turn your passion into money. That's what I say.
Speaker 6 (24:36):
So this only child thing is continuing.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
To h that's awesome. He thank you for doing us
for dog secret.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
That's great.
Speaker 6 (24:44):
Hey you're welcome, welcome to the show, Nina.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 12 (24:48):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Yeah, the Jubil Show on demand.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Do you think it's unprofessional to wear a bikini on
a work trip? It's the double show and asked the
question because it story is going viral off a Reddit
about a woman who went on a work trip recently
and she posted on Reddit talking about the fact that
one of her coworkers hung out by the pool in
a bikini, and all of the other women that were
on the work trip with her got angry at her
(25:15):
and said that she was trying to get attention from
the other male coworkers there and that it was just
very unprofessional to be wearing the bikini by the pool
on a work trip.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
What did they want her to wear instead.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Business cash, I don't know, I mean her wet suits pool,
you know, I don't I mean, I guess what other options?
Speaker 3 (25:34):
You could wear? A one piece, right, Nina, I guess
you could wear a one piece.
Speaker 11 (25:39):
You know.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
It's funny that this actually story is coming out because
recently I was talking to her friend of mine. She's
a news anchor, and she went on a trip to
Costa Rica and she posted a picture of herself in
a bathing suit under a waterfall, which happened to be
a bikini, because that's, you know, just what she wears,
and her job made her take it down because they
thought that she was sexualizing herself by posting in a
waterfall in Costa Rica.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Right, did she take it down? I mean she had to.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
Yeah, So it's if you want to sexualize yourself, go ahead,
it's yourself.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Well, I mean it was more about it was more
about the waterfall than her in her mind, right, And
for this person that's on a work trip, it's more
about I don't know what's the alternative. I think if
you don't have thong on, and I think if you're
not letting everything hang out, you're doing all.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, I mean I guess it depends on the bikini.
But if it's just a regular two piece bikini, that's
just what women wear by the pool a lot of times, Right,
that's a bathing suit. Yeah, Like I don't see an
issue with it. But apparently a lot of her female
coworkers are very upset that she did that. And your
friend who got her? Who who? Their company asked her
(26:45):
to take down a picture of herself in a waterfall
in Costa Rica in a bikini because she's sexualizing herself?
Was she just she just took a picture under a waterfall, right,
I just took a picture under a waterfall. The thing
that makes me really sad here. I guess you could
see both sides of it.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Right, So, as a woman, you're having other women tell
you that they don't like you wearing a two piece
because they think that you're trying to get attention, and
a woman who's the boss telling you to take it
down because you're sexualizing yourself. It's like, can we just
be or are we going to hate on everybody every
single time that they try to be?
Speaker 3 (27:19):
Right?
Speaker 4 (27:19):
You know?
Speaker 1 (27:20):
I mean there's a difference between sexualizing yourself and taking
a picture under a waterfall and a bikini.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
I mean, what was she doing?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
You know, like, is she doing something?
Speaker 6 (27:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Exactly?
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Yeah, No, I think that there's a clear difference, you know.
But we're being really sensitive to the whole thing because
you know, I guess look at the Kardashians, look at
everybody posting pictures of themselves in bikinis anytime you get
an opportunity to do it, and I think people are
getting sensitive to that.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
So is it because they feel bad about.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Themselves that they don't want to see anybody else look
good in.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
A bathing suit?
Speaker 1 (27:52):
I mean, that's one thing I would think usually when
people have that reaction, it's because it hits somewhere with them, right,
They don't like her and ai because they maybe not
don't look as good as her in a bikini, and
so it makes them upset, and they don't want her
to be in a bikini because they don't want to
be upstaged.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
I guess right, Yeah, maybe let's produce a brad.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
I have a question if someone is wearing a bikini
on a trip work trip and everyone else has a
problem with it, who's really doing the sexualizing Not the
person who's wearing the bikini, but everyone else who has
a sexual opinion about their body which is none of
their business.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Ooh is that right?
Speaker 8 (28:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Essentially trying to learn how to be a better guess essentially,
wait's open.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
I am curious to see if other people have any
thoughts on wearing bikinis on work trips.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, I just I have always had a problem with
the whole profession Well, I mean it's pretty goo professional
professional work, but professional attire, especially if you're on a
work trip on vacation like that. So this Reddit post
that we're talking about, where this one said that they
had they went on a work trip and they were
like awarded a work trip because they had done really
good at this company. So it was more like a
(29:00):
fun work trip. It congratulations, you guys did a good
job work trip, and they were out by the pool,
and her coworkers are upset because she wore a bikini
and that's like a fun work trip. Why can't you
wear a bikini for that? That doesn't make any sense
to me. I know, people get so upset and they
get so into the being professional thing, like what are
(29:21):
you supposed to do?
Speaker 3 (29:21):
What's considered professional?
Speaker 2 (29:23):
Well, it actually makes us feel kind of self conscious,
like okay, being a woman again, in a networking space,
it's predominantly men. I would always be conscious of whatever
kind of top I was wearing to make sure that
I didn't have cleavage showing or anything like that, so
I couldn't get hit that way. But even still if
I wanted to, shouldn't I be able to see?
Speaker 10 (29:41):
That?
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Seems stressful to me, I mean, and I know it
probably is stressful in Nina. Is it stressful because you
said you think about what top to wear? So going
to a work event, right, Yeah, before you go, you
think about what kind.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Of top to wear. Yeah, so every time you don't wear.
Speaker 1 (29:55):
Something too low cut so you don't look a certain
way or or people don't judge you.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, because you don't want anybody running around saying, well,
she got her job because she wore that low cut shirt.
She got her job because she put herself in that position.
It's sad that that's still happening.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
It is said. I mean, that's why I always wear
v neck pants to work. Yeah, you do, because I
don't mind people know how I got my job.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
Also, whose fault is that the person who gave the job?
Speaker 6 (30:24):
Right?
Speaker 9 (30:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
I just think we need to be more kind to
each other, that's all I'm saying. No, the difference between
wearing a song and flashing yourself and tworking on a
work trip and just being present? Can you just be kind?
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Call us up?
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Eighty eight three four three one o six one text
in four one of six to one. Hey Kaylin, Hey,
what do you think about this? Do you think it's
unprofessional to wear a bikini on a work trip?
Speaker 13 (30:46):
I mean if she was going into the office, absolutely,
But if they're by a pool, women are allowed to
wear bikinis.
Speaker 12 (30:54):
I don't know what the issue with it is.
Speaker 13 (30:56):
If they think that it's just because she's not wearing
a one piece or shirt.
Speaker 9 (31:00):
I mean, it's twenty twenty three.
Speaker 13 (31:02):
Women should be a swimsuit in a pool.
Speaker 10 (31:05):
I don't know what more there.
Speaker 8 (31:06):
Is to it.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Yeah, yeah, Caitlin.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Have you ever been in a situation where you had
to think twice about what you were wearing because of
something like that?
Speaker 13 (31:14):
I mean absolutely. I actually was in a similar situation.
We went on a works trip and there was a
pool party and people ended up wearing some suits. So
I have to think about it all the time. But
I don't think women should have to second get their
bodies and things that are teams normal for.
Speaker 12 (31:32):
The most part.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
No. Absolutely, I mean, and that's like I said it
just a second ago.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
But that's stressful.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
I have to think about that stuff all the time.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
Yeah. Yeah, we can't help it. We were just born
with these things, you know.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Than a phone call came and I used to post
pictures of myself on social media with glitter on my
butt for the holidays, other booty pictures.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Yeah yeah, I didn't know why though, Well just you know.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
It was just a way to say happy whatever it is,
happy Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Things like That's history of Instagram is wild.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
Yeah, I remind me to tell you the story about
when I saw that for the first time when I
was across the country and hadn't talked to you in
a while. I was all of a sudden, I stopped
on Jewble's shiny butt, and I was like, is happening?
Speaker 1 (32:16):
If you ever want to witness or a hilarious conversation
would be a part of hilarious conversation. Get involved in
a lawsuit, you have to explain your social media posts
in front of it.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Wait, what is this real? Where were you with this story?
Speaker 1 (32:39):
You have another lawyer going, is this a picture of
you with glitter all over your butt? Yes it is, sir.
What holiday was this celebrated? That would be Thanksgiving? Glitter booty.
Is this another picture with what looks like a jack
lantern glitter painted on your butt? Yes it is, sir.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
I saw that one too.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Do you think that that's offensive? No, I don't. I
think it was just getting into the festive spirit of things.
I also lost that lawsuit. It's time for what's trending
with Nina. Also your chance at one thousand dollars with
the jubile cash code coming up in just a second.
But hey, Nina, oh hey, what's trending?
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Is this how we're doing it this time. That's how
I'm doing it.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
This time because I was unprepared to do anything else
that I wanted to do.
Speaker 6 (33:27):
It failed.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
What's trending right now? Would you say that you're more
coastal cowgirl or cowboy core? I don't know what either
of those that means? Yeah, what is that mean? It's
the new summer trend.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
So when you're taking a look at what fashion is
going to look like this summer, we're leaning towards a
coastal cowgirl look, which is combining like flirty florals with
the cowboy boots and like big chunky belts and all
that kind of stuff. Thanks to Yellowstone, everybody wants to
dress leg bath. So there's that. But if you really
want to lean into your inner cowgirl, cowboy, cowboy core
(34:05):
is the other option, where you're taking out the florals
and you're wearing more the chunky belts and the boots
and stuff. It's just I want to know who named
these things, Like, whose job is it to name the
look of the summer?
Speaker 1 (34:18):
That'd be a fun job, right, I think you'd be
really good out of Jewbil. I think I would too,
something to be weird trends. Would you describe your look
to be mine?
Speaker 7 (34:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (34:32):
Uh, that's it, like an awkward face, like like.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
I don't know us, just like Zen Swag. I like that.
You should name them, I guess so. So it's cowboy
core yeah or coastal cowgirl, Coastal cowgirl.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
I think I would prefer the coastal cowgirl. Yeah, it
just sounds nice.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
I mean it's actually really cute coming off a coachel.
A lot of people were rocking the coastal cowgirl looks.
So if you're confused, just go look at some photos
recapping the weekend.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
All right, I'll go get myself a chunky belt. We're
got a chunky belt.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
Belts.
Speaker 1 (35:08):
Oh, thanks for having The Jubile Show on demand.
