A community comes together to mourn after a thirteen year
old's boy is killed when his dirt bike collided with
a car in Stoneham Friday. CBS News Boston's Paul Burton
has more.

broken hearts surround this community as they mourn the death
of a thirteen year old boy who died after being
hit by a car while on an electric dirt bike.

Please say. The crash happen on Oak Street around four
point thirty on Friday afternoon. A seventy three year old
man was driving a Toto Corolla and began to turn
left from Oak Street to Royal Street when the teen
on the e bike ran into the car. He was
rushed to empth but did not survive. Elio Xavier was
working nearby. You heard the crash and came to the
teen's aid.

years old.

On Saturday, dozens of his friends came by leaving flowers,
signs in some of his favorite drinks. The memorial just
a few feet away from the incident.

The victim, identified as Parker Robles, attended John Glenn Middle
School in Bedford. Grief counselors will be available to students
at the school end at Lane Elementary tomorrow. A sixteen
year old boy is arrested in connection with a shooting
in Mattapan more than a year ago. He was arrested

in Jamaica plane on Friday, and he's expected to be
arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court for murder and other charges.
Police say the suspect was involved in a shooting in
July of twenty twenty four, where two people were found
shot inside a vehicle. One victim, seventeen year old Christian
Cousins of Stoughton, died from his injuries. The other had

non life threatening injuries. Secretary of State Marko Rubio has
spent the day talking with Ukrainian and European delegates in Geneva.
Ukraine and its allies are concerned about a twenty eight
point piece plan to end the war with Russia, which
includes Ukraine giving up territory, eliminating its military size, limiting

its military size, and other concessions. Rubio spoke with reporters
about today's talks.

And the hopes of furthering now, and the difference is
in getting closer to something that both both Ukraine and
obviously the United States are very comfortable with. Obviously, this
will ultimately have to be signed off by our president's
although I feel very comfortable about that happening given the
progress we've made. And then obviously there's a Russian side.

The US is set to meet separately with Russian delegates.
The Justice Department is once again seeking the release of
grand jury transcripts in the Jeffrey Epstein case.

transcripts related to the initial federal investigation against Epstein. That
would include records dating back to two thousand and five.
In two thousand and seven, but the Department has been
down this road before and unsuccessfully Earlier this year, amid
outrage over the administration's handling of the Epstein case.

Another sign that the holiday season is right around the
corner the annual Trellis Lighting tomorrow night in Boston. Wbz's

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Friends of
Christopher Columbus Park will host the twenty third annual holiday
lighting of the signature trellis at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park
on Atlantic av in the North End. Monday night, at
five pm, the waterfront will be transformed into a magnificent
holiday display when the park's two hundred and sixty feet
of trellis are illuminated with lights near the Marriotte Long
