us on this Saturday morning. I'm Sherry Small. Here's what's happening.
A seventy one year old man dies after becoming trapped
under a tractor at a Cranberry bog. This happened in Born.
Here's details from CBS News Boston's Paul Burton.

State Rapper Stephen Uxarro's spoke to the Cranberry Bog owner.

He's just a hard working man and he's very upset
and struggling with the loss of his friend.

Fire officials say the man was using the tractor to
send the bog to prepare for the next season. That's
when something went horribly wrong.

When the tractor that this gentleman was driving started to
go down a ramp to get on the bog, it
flipped over. He was trapped and his fellow workers who
were with us did the best to get him out
of there, and they did.

Officers in paramedics rushed in in attempt at CPR, but
it was too late. This is a fifth generation family
owned Cranberry bog Now, with just one week to go
before Thanksgiving, what was supposed to be routine maintenance turns deadly.

this will always be part of that.

State Police. Born Police and OSHA are investigating A thirteen
year old boy has died after he was hit by
a car in Stoneham. That team was riding an electric
dirt bike when he was hit. This happened at about
four point thirty yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Oak
and Royal Streets. The unidentified victim was rushed to Mass
General where he was pronounced dead. No word on whether

or not the driver involved in that accident will face
any charges. All Right, a big shake up for the
Republican Party. Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green announcing her plans

in her term. A special election will take place within
forty days of her departure. Meanwhile, President Trump, reacting to

President saying Marjorie Trader Brown, because plummeting poll numbers and
not wanting to face a Trump endorsed primary challenger with

concluded by saying that he will always appreciate the congresswoman

to news. Federal funding brings new buses to the base day.

Governor Hilly says Massachusetts has been awarded over one hundred
and five million dollars in federal funding. That money going
towards five regional transit authorities and the MBTA to modernize
their bus fleets and facilities. The funding from the Federal
Transit Administration's Lower No Emission Grant Program and the Buses
and Bus Facilities Program will support the purchase of zero
and low emission buses. The five transit authorities are the

Merrimack Valley Transit Authority, Lowell Regional Pioneer Valley and Berkshire
Regional Transit Authority. The governor says the low and no
emission buses will deliver smoother rides, lower costs, and healthier air.

New charges for the former Stoton officer accused of killing
a pregnant woman and making it look like a suicide.

Keofar while waiving his appearance, but he submitted documents pleading
not guilty to new charges connected with the death of
Sandra Birchmore and now her unborn son as well. Prosecutors
have alleged the twenty three year old woman told the
officer he was the father, though testing has suggested otherwise,
and that Farwell killed her at her Canson apartment in
twenty twenty one to stop the relationship from coming to light,

a sexual relationship that allegedly started when Birchmore was just fifteen.
Right now, Firewell's attorneys are trying to get the case
moved from Boston to Rhode Island, alleging biased media coverage,
and with the trial set for next fall, a judge
has also set a January deadline for prosecutors to say
whether or not they'll seek the death penalty. Madison Rogers

A twenty eight year old man from India is indicted
by a federal grand jury in Boston for allegedly stabbing
two seventeen year olds with the metal fork during a
flight from Chicago to Germany. This happened last month. The
suspect indicted on two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
After the alleged attacks on October twenty fifth, the flight

was diverted to Logan Airport, where the suspect was taken
into custody. The latest victim of bird flu dies in
Washington State.

East Harbor County resident was an older adult with underlying
health conditions. They were being treated in King County since
early November. They were diagnosed with H five and five
avian influenza. It's the first time that variant was confirmed
in a person. The Washington State Department of Health says
no one else involved as tested positive for the virus
and the risk to the public is low. I'm brad
