(00:27):
this Monday when compared to our sweltering Fourth of July
holiday celebrations. Gone is that heat wave. But the clouds
have rolled in and they're gonna be sticking around for
a while. We had some light overnight showers, some rain
this morning. It's mostly off to our south, but certainly
south coast. The cape in the island's getting drenched right now.
We're gonna have some rain tonight into tomorrow as well

(00:47):
before we clear things out from Wednesday. At six oh one,

taking place with it about a four hour span on
this holiday weekend. At least two people are dead and
eleven others are injured, and the Patrolman's Union tells us
that there was also a street takeover that turned violent
in Mattapan when police arrived on sea fireworks launched at

(01:16):
Boston Police officers that what the Patrolman's Union is calling

Speaker 3 (01:25):
They're could be as small as a fire cracker, and
other times they're throwing M eighty's or something worse. Whether
it was thrown, planted, shot at them, but the video
speaks volumes officers were hurt.

Wvztv's Logan Hall police are asking for the public's help
if they have any information. Fuel fiasco at Logan causing
a major disruption for hundreds of flights. A whole lot
of people are looking to get out of town.

with several flight cancelations and even more delays, but it's
looking much better compared to overnight, when a field says
some issue laid well over three hundred flights and canceled
seventy five, one of which affected Samuel from DC.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Will I check this warning before I left the hotel
and it said I was good to go. Had some
friends that were going to Atlanta. They got an email
just wanting to say their flight.

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Night exactly because of gas issues.

just before midnight that logan James Rojas WBZ Boston, some

take warning type of deal around there. Otherwise it's just clouds.
It's certainly comfortable, a nice little breeze out there, hovering
around seventy degrees, but so much rain is off to
our south right now. If you're listening down the Cape
South Coast or possible even into Rhode Island, you are
certainly getting dumped on right now. As that rain continues

(02:54):
to sweep across different parts of southern New England. Really
will continue over the next twenty four hours into tomorrow
afternoon as well. We've got floodwatches south of Boston through
Tuesday afternoon for greater Boston. Today just really a cloudy,
breezy day up in the seventies, a whole lot more
comfortable conditions. We're back down into the sixties four later

(03:15):
tonight into tomorrow, a high of just sixty eight, and
again the better chance in Boston of the rain showers
is tomorrow. Wednesday we begin to clear out and we
return with some heat as we're expected to get up
around ninety some beautiful sunshine. Those beach days will return
for the middle of this week. We just kind of
get to Wednesday before that happens. Right now, at the moment,

I heard about it a lot from student athletes. We said,
the noise and the abuse that they were taking from
