the runway looks like a scene from a terrible movie.
Delta Airlines regional jet. Eighty people on board. Everybody's okay,
but there were some injuries. But boy, you see the

(01:47):
plane overturn on the runway like that in the snow,
it's like a miracle that everybody's okay again. Flying is safe.
I have to just keep telling myself that. And if
anybody's headed to BWI, flying is safe.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Sure? Well, if I said boots.

Speaker 5 (03:49):

Speaker 2 (04:52):

Speaker 5 (04:53):
All right?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Lot of songs?

Speaker 2 (04:55):

it's a wild world?

Speaker 4 (05:09):
You got it? And how much time on it? Are
we getting a second? That was a little longer than three?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (05:14):

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, I think it was, but she gets it. She
did great.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Two tickets for Blake Shelton and CEFG Bank Arena, March twentieth.
When we listen back, there was another voice coming in
from somewhere shout out.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
I think she was saying her name is Haley. I
couldn't hear her. Where was she coming? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
It was something with BG and E. You think maybe
the lions got crossed.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
But Haley, if you're out there listening, we appreciate you
trying to play. And I will have to do it
again tomorrow and get her in here. I don't I
don't know what that was.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
It was hearing a voice from outer space. Secret into
the Studio.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Ninety three point one w POC with Jordan.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
David and Colder.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Ninety three point one WPOC Michael j Hey, Bethany I
wanted to get an update on this guy Andy, who
we talked with yesterday.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
He called in and said he was.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Staying in his truck as his powers out in Saverna
Park and we got a hold of a delegate. Hey, Andy,
did you call Delegate kipkeyback? We gave you his number.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
I didn't. I don't want to. I don't want to
be that guy that asked or something didn't work work.
I'm in a bad situation, but I didn't. You know,
I don't want a handout of any kind.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
Andy.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
It's not about a handout. It's about trying to get
you some help. And he was telling me that through
the Fuel Fund of Maryland, they might be able to
get you, you know, some I don't know whether they
reduce the bill or if they're able to help you
out making payments or if you're on budget billing. I mean,
I don't want to get into all your personals, but
I just I'm just trying to give you some help,

(08:30):
because when you tell me you're sleeping in your truck,
I don't want something to happen to you.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
No, nothing will happen to me.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Are you seeing where you are at your friend's house?

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yoh, absolutely, Okay, all right, well good, we're glad he's safe.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
He's at least got someplace that's warm, and.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
We're you know, he found he found a friend to
stay with.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Yeah, we're concerned because BG and E is doing what
they can. But the numbers have actually jumped with power
outages in the last half down to about eighty nine
hundred earlier, now back up to over ten thousand, two hundred.
So there's a lot of folks who still are sitting
there without power.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
And when you're you know, you're your fridge is not working,
and your food spoils, and you've got no heat in
the house, and you've got animals and children, you know
what I mean, it's an immediate life threatening situation.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
So if you are in that situation, we got a
bunch of people who want it out for tips. Either
call the police, you can you can call they.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Will know where local warming stations are. And then if
you're a senior, call Senior Services or you know, your
local social services agency.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
They won't be able to help. Yeah, but shout out
to Andy. I mean, see, the thing is, we were
trying to give him some money to help him out.
He doesn't want it, and I get that there's pride
and all sorts of things involved. We just we just
want to keep everybody safe, check on each other, yes,
stake caure of each other. Ninety three point one WPOC.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
You got.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Ru Ballbridge. That's a pretty timely song.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Shout out to tough people going through tough times, to
make you stronger.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
I think that's what he's trying to say.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's so interesting to me, how if you start to
talk to somebody for more than like two or three minutes,
you start to realize that, like everybody's.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Going through something.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
You're absolutely right about that.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Yeah, And you know we keep these tough people looks
on the outside, but inside were like a little children. Well,
Michael j. And Bethany here at ninety three point one WPOC.
You know you're reading about a lot of people in
the federal.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Government moving out of their jobs, and there's some real
numbers now kind of backing that up, right, And we're
a little bit nervous about a DC housing crisis because
thousands of homes went up for sale last week around
DC because thousands of people lost their jobs. Wow, so

(10:55):
I'm hearing numbers like four thousand listings around the Greater
DC area. That's an insane amount of houses to be
listed in one weekend.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
How does that impact Baltimore?

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Does that like somehow overflow or is it kind of
like you know, it's close enough, or.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I don't know, it could have very little impact on
Baltimore or like I'm sure that there are plenty of
federal employees in the Baltimore area that are probably going
to list their house, which could help with I mean,
like there's like a whole bunch of like so economics
behind it.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
If you're a young couple maybe and you've been waiting
for houses to become more affordable, maybe that's a good thing.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
And like the DC housing market was like so expensive,
Like everybody knows that, right. I think the average house
was like six hundred and ninety nine thousand dollars a
few weeks ago. Now the average house is like five
thirty or something. So it went down a lot and
like two weeks.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Yeah, and that's just because everybody listening, But it is.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
It's like a mass exodus.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
It's springtime though, coming up too, So I wonder is
this just people getting ready to get ahead of the
spring market that want to move and how does that
impact Baltimore.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
So so overall, if.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
You're thinking about putting your house in the market around
our area, do you do it now or do you wait?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
I mean, oh sure, I mean, like spring housing market
is always like when things pop, right. Yeah, but it
seems like there's quite a bit of inventory out there now.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic I still come back to.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
I think that's gonna be good for people who have
been waiting for houses to maybe become affordable.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, you know, we'll see what happens with that. It's interesting.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Yeah, it is all right.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
BNW Parkway southbound between Rundo's Boulevard and one seventy five
and accident moved to the shoulder, causing a bit of
a delay there. A disabled vehicle on ninety five southbound
at Russell Street moved to the shoulder, causing a backup there.
One hundred westbound between Richie Highway and Oakwood Road is
slow and before the Harbor Tunnel will back to about
fifteen minutes. If you're a Jason Alden fan, you're gonna

(12:51):
love what's coming up next. Our twenty twenty five Higheart
Radio Music Award coming back to the.

Speaker 3 (12:56):
Fox ninety three point one WPOC now truity.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Okay, okay, So I'm I am knee deep into this
story about these alleged cults leaders that were arrested here
in Maryland of the Zizian group.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
Yeah, I'm just reading about this too, Bethany, because the
story just keeps unfolding.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
So it's a little odd.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
So it sounds like a guy Jack Leisoda thirty four,
along with Michelle Zazco thirty three, have been at this
point charged with more minor things like trespassing, obstructing and
hindering and possession of a handgun in the vehicle. But
they the police apparently believe they're tied to a number of.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Murders, a cult like of radical vegans linked to at
least six deaths across the United States. All right, so
not necessarily these people didn't necessarily do the murders, but
they're linked to gotcha, a group of people who are
taking responsibility for this is a wild story. So I
think we're going to be hearing a lot more about this.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
There were shootings in Delaware and Vermont and another in
California that are outside to this this cult. So you
may be hearing more about the Zizian cult.

Speaker 5 (14:30):
That's what that's all about.

Speaker 4 (14:32):
Interesting, a very tragic story, but fortunately it looks like
everyone's going to survive that Toronto plane crash. The investigation
underway as to why a jet landing in Toronto, a
Delta aircraft carrying over eighty people, dramatic.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Video upside down, the whole planes have set.

Speaker 5 (14:53):
Up, the wing is off.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
We don't know what happened, but they've got to release
some sort of news on that today. But it's just
a miracle that people survive.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Is this one of those phenomenons where like it seems
like a lot of plain incidents are happening.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
But like it's not any more than usual. They're just
reporting anymore.

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I don't I These are major carriers we're hearing about,
so you know, from from the crash at Reagan National
to now Toronto, we're keeping an eye on it, and
if we have any more updates on that this morning,
we will. I'm all about more. Is it bad that
that song makes me kind of crave a drink?

Speaker 1 (15:32):
No? No, you too? Huh?

Speaker 3 (15:35):
To keep us in the loop of entertainment and pop
culture and the things we shouldn't care about, but somehow
we really do.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
That's right, Bethany Brief ninety.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
No, you know, this is one of my favorite moments
of the show. Bethany's brief. I love it because we
hear about all kinds of cool, you know, inside things
on your favorite stars.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Okay, well here's here's the te Okay, all of Pope
for events for the week have been canceled.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
He's recovering from a bronchial infection.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
Heard about that he was in the hospital.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Or Yeah, Chelsea Handler's got a new special coming up
and she's apparently spilling the tea. It hits Netflix March
twenty fifth. I guess there are lots of inside secrets
about Hollywood.

Speaker 5 (16:19):
And she's pretty funny.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Yeah, I think she's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Oh, speaking of hilarious, So the SNL fiftieth anniversary show,
I got some behind the scenes dirt. Col John mulaney
mentioned in his opening monologue, over the course of fifty years,
eight hundred and ninety four people have hosted Saturday Night Live.
It amazes me that only two of them have committed murder.
So immediately everyone was like, who's exactly the online shatters,

(16:46):
pointing to Robert Blake and OJ Simpson, although Alec Baldwin
and Robert Wagner also were names that surface.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
So maybe he should have said four.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
And I don't know what he's considering to be murdered.
I don't know. So that's just interesting that he got
all those people talking about that.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Also, behind the scenes, Martin Short and Meryl Streep, everybody
has been shipping them thinking that they're a couple and
they're like, no, no, no, we're not dating, blah blah blah blah. Well,
behind the scenes of SNL, it seems like they were together.
In fact, Amy Schumer was like, oh, yeah, this is happening.
She was seated next to them. So I think that's
a really cute couple, like Hollywood Royalty together. I love

(17:28):
that tomorrow Apple is unveiling a new product. Really some
people think it's a new phone, other people think it's
an home pad.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Well, just had to buy a new laptop for my
daughter who's at college because her old Apple crashed. It
was years old, and so we spent about an hour
at the Apple store the other day. They're really big
on this Apple Intelligence. That's what everybody's talking about now,
and it is unbelievable what it can do. I can
write your whole form letters and like I'm like.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
Hey, look, why are we even trying any more crazy?
Just let the computers take over.

Speaker 5 (18:03):
Yeah, So that's it.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
That's it. That's what's going on with Bethanyes Bree. That's it.
Ninety three point one WPOC traffic.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
We're gonna get to the concert tickets that was promising
right after we find out what's going on on the roads.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
All right, so before both tunnels we are backed up
pretty good. In fact, I don't really think either of
those are your best bet right now. Disabled vehicle and
the right lane of the right tube of the Fort
mckennry Tunnel has things backed up for about a half
an hour thirty.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
Two both eastbound and westbound.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Looks like eastbound between twenty nine and US one and
westbound between Burns Crossing Road and Laurel Fort Mead Road.
Both places backed up on the outer loop between Belly
Road and Providence Road. Plus there's an accident on the
outer at Liberty Road which has things backed up there.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
Hey, Warren Zeyders is common Yeah, and I've got tickets.
You may know he's from Hershey, Pennsylvania, which of course
is famous for the road for its chocolate. So I
brought in a dry erase board. I am going to
write and hold over my head one word. It is
one of my favorite ways to enjoy chocolate.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
And am I am I to give clues about.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Well, I don't know if we're gonna Nikolas. Let me
write the word down, all right, the words on it.
I'm gonna hold it up. This is one of my
favorite ways to enjoy chocolate. It's a chocolate product. Well
do I say it's a product? You see what the
word is.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, this is one hundred percent the wrong way to
enjoy chocolate. So are you serious? I'm a dead series.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
No, but I love chocolate like this. I think we're
gonna use this might be our first fight. Oh my god,
really yeah, this is not that's not good. Oh I
love it like this?

Speaker 1 (19:41):
All right?

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Well enough clues eight hundred three two one thirty six
ninety three. If you basically is the worst way to
enjoy chocolate, No, it's the way I love chocolate. If
you can guess that, you win. Now you'll go see
a chocolate man from Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
Warren Zider Gramophone dot com. See it, hear it, Live it.

Speaker 7 (20:00):

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Enough so they swear it is all right, Let me
reset if you just turned on ninety three point one
WPOC Michael J and Bethany We've got Warren Zeider's concert tickets.
He's from Hershey, Pennsylvania. So I love chocolate. I have
written on a dry erase board above my head. I'm

(20:39):
holding one of my favorite ways to enjoy chocolate. And
all you gotta do is guest to win.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
I'm cold.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
You're guessing that I like my chocolate cold or frozen,
like hey, I do.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
So what do you do? You put the chocolate bar
in the freezer. Yeah, yeah, no, I like that by
York peppermint patty and the freezer.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Yeah they're good, except they almost chipped your teeth. If
the frozen, yeah, that's true. No, that's that's that's not
what I what I've got. But thanks for trying.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
What's your guess chocolate covered bacon, chocolate covered daco.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
Dan, that sounds great. That's not the great answer.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
No, try yeah. Ninety three point one w POC. How
do I love my chocolate? It's written on the board.
What do you think?

Speaker 1 (21:27):
What's popcorn?

Speaker 5 (21:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (21:29):
That sounds good, chocolate popcorn.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Have you ever had that?

Speaker 4 (21:33):
No?

Speaker 7 (21:34):
Good? Oh?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Wow, that sounds really Eat that right now?

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Good morning, ninety.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Three point one w POC with Michael J and Bethany.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
What's your guess?

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Is it making us some more?

Speaker 6 (21:46):
No?

Speaker 4 (21:46):
A lot of people guessing some more. We need to
give a clue. Eight hundred three two one thirty six
ninety three. I will say, Bethany, is it too much
for me to say? It comes in a box?

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (21:59):
I've loved this since I was a kid, and we
used to get in a metal box.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
All right.

Speaker 2 (22:05):

get it in a cardboard container.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Wow, chocolate milk is very popular involved. Okay, all right,
we'll have another chance for you to win warren Ziders
tickets for May first at Pier six Pavilion tomorrow right
on the same time by age fifteen. Hey, now we
mentioned a little while ago, you get an ultimate opportunity
as a Jason Alden fan to do something pretty incredible.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Oh boy.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Jason and his wife Brittany recently purchased a new home
in the Bahamas, and they need help naming it. They're
legitimately asking. They say they're expanding their growing real estate portfolio.
You know a lot about real estate, Bethany, and and
I thought you could help out the Instagram post here's

(24:34):
are you ready for?

Speaker 1 (24:35):
This is so stressful.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
The al Deans really enjoy the high life. They own
multiple homes. Jason he loves fancy houses.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
He said.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
They've got their home in Nashville. They have their ten
million dollar home in Florida, and they sold their turks
and Keko's property, and ever since, Brittany has been itching
to get another tropical paradise outside them. Of course, she says,
this is uh, missus Aldan, we just bought in the Bahamas.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
And ever since we sold.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Our Turks and Keiko's house, I have missed the islands
like crazy.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
I can't imagine.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
I feel my heart's like literally bleeding for her.

Speaker 4 (25:16):
So she has a new uh, she has a feeling
this is going to be her favorite, this new home.
Now here's the deal. The al Deanes named their Tennessee
home after the song night Train.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
All right.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
They call it the Night Train Ranch. Remember last time
you saw HGTV. Yeah, and they take you on tours
of new houses, they always give them a little cute name. Yeah,
so that's the same thing the al Deans are trying
to do. They need to name their house.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
But didn't you say that she wants to like embroider
it on towels.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
Yeah, I was just getting to that par Okay.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
She said, this is a very important decision because it
will be hung on towels throughout the house, and you
don't want to give Can you imagine your guests.

Speaker 5 (25:59):
Showing up and it's a name on the towel.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Oh, yeah, when I get my towels and.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Well, you know, listen, Jason Alden is a big star.
He makes a lot of money and his wife loves
to spend.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
It it sounds like it.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
So so here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
A couple of the names I was thinking, maybe Brittany
Bay Estate, maybe Al Deane's Ocean Front Oasis.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Well, you know, I put a lot of thought into
this since you told me about this earlier. And here
are some names I've come up with, all right. For
the new Jason Alden home, all right, what is it
their fourth home?

Speaker 5 (26:29):
It's their third because they sold the turks and.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Kids, right, okay. How about tone Deaf Dunes tone Deaf?
All right?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
How about Billionaire's Burden. Well, no, but it's not a burden.
It's at the beach. Maybe beach Billionaire's beach. All right,
we'll try this one, all right, Wealth Gap Wharf all right,
Trickle down tropics.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
Oh, look at that, you're really getting.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Creative inequity in uh huh? Or my favorite, okay, the
tax Shelter Shores.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
Well that's exactly what it probably is.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
But if you have a name, they want you to
d m your your idea because it might end up
on their towels.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
That Natty three point one w poc greg just checked in.
He was trying to give me another idea of what
I should do with my chocolate. He said, what on
his Honeygrams? He said, put chocolate milk on your honeygram.

Speaker 5 (27:27):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
No, we cannot condone that kind of behavior.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Oh, there's so many ways to enjoy chocolate.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Am I allowed to say that word that someone texted in?

Speaker 2 (27:36):
I don't know what they text Somebody said, I love
first of all.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
So I don't know.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
I don't know if you can say that.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
But somebody, let's just say, somebody disagrees with me and
says that chocolate milk is the best.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Yeah, I don't know if I yeah. And then somebody
said they loved all of the names I came up
with for Jason Elden's. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
So, Jason el Dean and his wife Brittany, they're trying
to name their or a new home in the Bahamas.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
They sold their turks and caicos. They have a ten
million dollar place in Florida. They got the estate in Nashville.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
There's just like a low key housing crisis happening in America.

Speaker 5 (28:11):
But they're naming their house.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
So I just feel like this is a little well,
I mean, hey, we have the White House. Why can't
you have a house name something? I mean, I guess
when you're on that level ill, there's a lot of
jealousy coming from my vein.

Speaker 5 (28:26):
I have a name for my house.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
It's called Them
