I have three acts down, but they're more of like
a wish list, okay, and I kind of feel like
the two of the three would be probably way too expensive.
But Guns and Roses because they are they are touring

They're a tour that's actually one that is doing a
lot of festivals. But the reason they won't be able
to is they the dates don't work right, so they
are completely out of the picture, right, and they're not
too expensive. Well, Rock Oklahoma, they've been there, they've been
there before this year, they're not because they've definitely are
they've changed how much because they're they've changed the uh there.

I think they're pay structure because they're doing a lot
more festivals, okay. And then food Fighters fool Fighters. What's
the food Fighters? I think the Food Fighters is a possibility,
I think, and they are doing like some dates. I

there before, they have My Chemical Romance has played Rockklahoma.

day was to bring your kid to work day for sure.

I would help set up. That's cool. But my dad
officed in our house, so I would help him, like

it was free labor. But the idea of take your
kids to work to day is all about fucking off

lot of festivals. But the reason they won't be able
to is they the dates don't work right, so they
are completely out of the picture, right, and they're not
too expensive. Well, Rock Oklahoma, they've been there, they've been
there before this year, they're not because they've definitely are
they've changed how much because they're they've changed the uh there.

I think they're pay structure because they're doing a lot
more festivals, okay. And then food Fighters fool Fighters. What's
the food Fighters? I think the Food Fighters is a possibility,
I think, and they are doing like some dates. I

there before, they have My Chemical Romance has played Rockklahoma.

Sonic Temple, rock Field, so it's not out of the realm.

like this little cultural event more than it is the bands.
The bands are also there. It's also a reason to

being there all day, getting sun burned, right, drinking.

used to just be that guy that you know, would
just drive back and forth, just drive back and forth.

when he got out of that, it just whatever could
pay the bills. He worked machine shops, and he worked
out at American Airlines for a little while, so.

A little here and there. Yeah, just whatever whatever it
could do to make some money. Yeah, my dad worked
Hallmark pretty much is my whole growing up. And then
when I left for college, he started building homes and
things like that. And I would come home the summer
and build homes with him swinging a hammer and yeah.
And then in the end he was I mean, he'd

been retired for a while, doing contract work occasionally. But
I don't think we know what Lindsay's dad, and I'm
trying to remember what have you talked about what your
dad did on the air?

Well, when I was really young, he for a while
he was an EMT and yeah, and he worked he
was a beard distributor for a little.

When I was uh, I think in middle school.

Pause, your dad how old were you when you remember
him being an EMT?

And when you say beer distributor, what does that mean
delivered beer? He was a beer delivered guy. Okay, those

someone brings beer in, works with whoever, and then distributes
it amongst sells it. And then the delivery guy just
pulls up with the truck and goes beer here. Yeah yeah,
sorrying here on you invoice? Yeah yeah. And what's how old?

How old was he when he died the beer thing?
I think I was a baby. Oh so that was
before the EMT Okay, so we got beard delivery guy

And then when I was up until he died, he
worked for Nipscoe, which is like working for PSO put
guess and Electric Underground.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Okay that falls under construction blue collar. Yeah, that was right,
and he did.

That up until he died.

Really yeah, okay, so that for you, that's what you
remember him doing mostly. That was his career. Yeah yeah,
because when I was little, my dad was an engineer
for Homemark whatever that means. Ah, okay, and then he
just moved over to the sales side. Yes, okay, that's cool.

That's kind of like our engineer here used to be
on air. But then he moved over to me in
an engine.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Here, except it's different. My dad was more of an engine,
like a drawing.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Yeah yeah yeah, but still within the same company. I
want to stay here to do something different.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Well I think it was more
lucrative to sales. Yeah yeah, there's a lot of money there.

it'd be neat to be the guy that's drawing the cards. Yeah. No,
if you're drawing the cool card, right, But if you're
drawing the same you know, frog wishing you a happy birthday,

Did your dad ever take you to work for dig?

I'm his co workers because a lot of kids I
went to school with our parents all work together. So
I mean I did know a lot of his worker
that was about it.

I mean, I love the idea of take your kid
to work day for you know, the bonding of the
parent and the child. For sure. Yeah, but ultimately it's
a fuck off day, like nobody's really working. Because my
kids are always like because my wife work has one
and they throw like it's all out. There's no working
that day. There's no you get to see meetings and
all that stuff. It is face painting and carnival rides and.

To keep kids, yes, yeah, because kids don't do good
in conference meeting.

No discussing million dollar oil wells. Yeah, And so my
kids are like, oh, what can we do that at
your work? And I'm like, no, there were a couple
of people here that used to work here. Anyway. Every
day was to bring your kid to work day for sure.
For sure, Plus like what am I gonna do? Like
I'm trying to talk on the air, I'm not gonna
have my kid like dad, Dad, I can't get this

So we did that a lot.

If I needed some help with something, we go out
to my mom's shop when she was working at American.

I've got all the tools at work, Why don't you

Stuff like that, but never really bring bring your kid
to work day.

Yeah. My dad would do these things at the end
of the day where the local card shop or whatever.
They would come in and he'd have all the Christmas
stuff in like July so they could order, and so
I would go with him and help. Like he'd do
some hotel, banquet room or whatever and set everything up
and then you know, the next five days people would

come from those shops and see what it was. So
I would help set up. That's cool. But my dad
officed in our house, so I would help him, like
sort invoices and things like free labor. Yeah, basically, essentially
it was free labor. But the idea of take your
kids to work to day is all about fucking off
pretty much. Bab Sure it's a free day to hang

out with your kids, because you don't want heart surgeons
doing that. No, right, you know when nurses doing that.

Kids off in the back play and throwing legos at
each other and next thing you know, you've got one
landing in you, right, and you're patient to whatever.

You're like, I don't know why this heart isn't working,
but they're kids, like you're like, ah, damn right, it's
not appropriate. I didn't have to be a human like
a vet like I don't right around dogs and stuff
that aren't yours, and the kids like a pet, the
