Hey, Black History Months, we do it each and every day.

Mother's a Black History fact. During Black History Month, it's
important to remember Rodney King, who's nineteen ninety one being
by LAPD officers and the subsequent aquado of those officers
sparked the nineteen ninety two Los Angeles Riots, highlighting issues
of police brutality and racial injustice. The Rodney King case

became a symbol of police brutality and racial injustice, sparking
national conversations about race relations and the role of law enforcement.
In nineteen ninety three, tour of the officers were convicted
in federal court for violating King's civil rights. Rodney King
died in twenty twelve from an accidental drowning. The Rosenrond

Morning Show was blessed with the opportunity to interview Rodney
King before he passed away. Rodney King is Black History.
And since yesterday was a holiday, you get a bonus,
an honor that I'm so happy about and one that
is so deserving. The Wayan's family, the iconic Wayan's family

will receive an award from the NAACP. Yes you know
I love them Image Awards. So we got Keenan we
got Damon Senior, we got Marlon, we got Sean, we
got Kim and Damon Jr. They will be inducted into
the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame. This is happening
