Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the heart of the Space City to the heart
of gen Z. Welcome back to Next Gen Conversation, not
Dad's Talk Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Ethan talks to you about the issues and events that
mentors who are our generation.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
This is the Next Gen Report with Buchanan.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Hey, good evening, Houston, real quick follow me on x
at Underscore Ethan Buchanan and I'm on TikTok by the
way as well.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Now I don't know why I decided to do that.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
I'm regretting it even now, But at Underscore Ethan Buchanan
on TikTok as well. You can check out a lot
of highlights and clips from the show there. We got
a lot to talk about today. Trump and Zorhan Mom
Donnie had quite a meeting. We'll talk about that a
little bit later on. We got a lot going on
with Texas's congressional maps. We'll talk about that as well.
(00:58):
But I want to start by talking about immigration, because
when do we not. I've seen a couple of examples
recently of again the left trying to push the narrative
and leftists trying to push the narrative that ice and
border patrol are the villains here. They're just ripping people
(01:20):
up and taking them away, and it's evil and it's
horrible that they're doing this to all these these poor
people that just want to come here and build a
better life. They're in poor countries and they just want
to come here and work hard and make money. But
they broke the law to do it because they don't
respect our laws and our country and our culture at all.
No get out. Somebody actually said that on TikTok. It's
(01:44):
like these people are just it's too.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Hard, it's too difficult. So we're going to talk about
that a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
But first I want to play you a video that
I think perfectly exemplifies the sort of savior complex that
the woke liberals have.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
And I'm going to warn you in advance.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
The woman in this video screaming at this poor border
patrol agent has what may very well be I think
the most annoying voice I have ever heard. Like this
is the most shrill, unpleasant sounding wench I have ever
seen in my life or heard. I didn't see her
because she's holding the camera recording, but she sounds just horrible.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Take a listen to this. Who are a.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Bad, evil person?
Speaker 1 (02:27):
You need to be exponged.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
What does that mean you need to be expunged. Who
talks like that, who says that.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
We need to go to another country? You need to
know what it looks like.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Instead, you're taking You're pulling over innocent people, not asking
for any id.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
You're pulling over nscent painpal.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I mean, I feel like the only reason that she's
here yelling at this border patrol officer is because there
were There's no one on her lawn for her to
yell at. There were no kids playing basketball in the
street for her to yell at, So she came over
here to yell at this border patrol officer. But again
(03:14):
there's this narrative that these people are just innocent. The
only thing they did was try to come here for
a better life.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
What's so bad about that?
Speaker 2 (03:24):
I am willing to bet a significant sum of money
that whoever they pulled out of that car and arrested
probably isn't innocent. At the very least, you broke the
law coming into the country that is illegal. That is
a crime, and you probably committed some other crimes on
top of that. Here's another example of this isis in Charlotte,
(03:44):
the guy in a headlock is a restaurant worker, barbarians, And.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
If you're just listening right now, you can't see it.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
If you're listening to me on a m N I'm
fifty KPRC right now as we're doing the show live
on Monday morning. Check my YouTube and you'll be able
to actually see this picture. But they've got this legal
alien and a headlock. They're grabbing him by the arms
and holding him down, and there's the restaurant in the background.
And how evil of these Border patrol agents. He just
came here to work in a restaurant and make money.
(04:10):
There's no opportunities in his home country. He had to
do this. It would have taken too long becoming legally. Also,
he's not just some innocent guy. He's got a knife
that he's trying to presumably stab these Border patrol officers with.
How dare they put him in a headlock? He's trying
to freaking attack them with a knife. Matt van SWOLLENCKXS
(04:32):
did a good job of actually zooming in on his
hand where you can clearly see he's got a knife
that's like up the border patrol officer's sleeve and that's
why they're grabbing him by the arms they're trying to
stop him from stabbing them. If you really want to
just come here and build a better life, it's probably
not a good idea to attack law enforcement with a knife.
(04:53):
I'm no legal expert, I'm no attorney. This is not
legal advice. But at any given point, whether or not
you did something wrong or not, it's probably not a
good idea to go after law enforcement with a knife.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
We'll reach out to some lawyers and double check this,
but I'm fairly positive that I'm not wrong about this.
And again, the type of person who sees law enforcement
and their first response is let me grab my knife
real quick, they're probably not great people.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Probably not.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
I mean, there could be exceptions. I'm not here to
judge this guy, particularly, I'm kind of judging him. He's
the only lalien and get the hell out of my country.
But I'm gonna go off on a limb and assume
he probably did something that put him on ICE's radar.
He's probably not just some poor guy. He probably is
(05:48):
wanted for other crimes. Because I hate to break it
to you, a lot of the people that came into
this country I legally who didn't respect our laws at
the gate have continued to not respect our law all.
Here's a good example of this out of Houston. ICE
Houston arrests more than thirty five hundred criminal illegal aliens,
(06:09):
child predators, and murderers during shutdown. So over the last
six weeks when the government was shut down, IS in
Houston kept working, praise God, and they arrested three thousand,
five hundred and ninety three criminal illegal aliens in Southeast
Texas during the longest federal government shutdown in history. Among
the criminal illegal aliens arrested by the ICE Houston Field
(06:31):
Office during the shutdown were thirteen murders, fifty one child predators,
sixty seven sex offenders, three hundred and sixty six criminal
illegal aliens convicted of DWIS.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
At the very.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Least these people are going in drunk driving, which I'm
fairly confident we all agreed was not a good idea.
Two hundred and sixty one criminal illegal aliens convicted of
aggravated assault, one hundred and three aliens convicted of burglar
or theft, forty six criminal illegal aliens convicted of weapons offenses.
(07:05):
All you no more guns, democrats, And this kind of
gets to the crux of why we do need these harsh,
difficult immigration laws because the left will say, oh, these
people just want to build a better life, and it's
just too hard for them to come into the country legally.
This is why it has to be hard. We need
it to be difficult. We need a long, detailed process
(07:28):
that weeds out these people because if not, guess what
you get fifty one.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Child predators in the Greater Houston area.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
We already have enough child predators that are just native
born Americans. We don't need to import them. It's not necessary.
All right, we got a lot to talk about.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
We'll be right back. Stay tuned for more of the
Next Gen Report on an nine fifty kprsuit.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna have a
lot of fun with this segment.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
Welcome back to the Next Gen Report. I am Ethan Buchannan.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
This is real Texas, Real Talk, Am nine fifty kp RC.
We all recall a couple of days ago when the
left Gavin Newsom Democrats here in Texas did a victory
lap because a federal court struck down the new maps
(08:50):
that the Texas legislature passed that eliminated a bunch of
majority minority Democrat districts. We all remember that, right, That
was that was recently. That was fairly fairly recent. They
were all super excited about that. And if you recall
on the Wednesday show, I said, don't count your chickens
(09:14):
before they hatch, don't count your money while you're sitting
at the table. There'll be time enough for counting when
the dealing's done. Well, the Democrats didn't wait for the
dealings to be done. They started counting their money early.
Now they look like idiots because the Supreme Court just
(09:34):
reinstated those maps, just like I said they would. I
might be a prophet, or I just actually did my research,
which apparently none of the freaking Democrats bothered to do.
And I knew what was gonna happen, because we went
through this exercise no less than two years ago.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
But let me give you a prime example of this.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Here's Gavin Newsom, Donald Trump, and Greg Abbott played with five,
got burned, and democracy won. This ruling is a win
for Texas and for every American who fights for free
and fair elections. And I said at the time four
ish days ago, don't get too excited about this because
(10:19):
this is going to immediately get appealed to the Supreme Court,
and the Supreme Court is not going to rule in
your favor. And wouldn't you know it, Ken Paxson appealed
this to the Supreme Court just like I said.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
He was gosh, I'm a genius. I'm so good at this.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
So he tweeted out yesterday or not yesterday, this would
have been Friday. So two days ago, I filed an
appeal in Scotis to defend Texas's new congressional map. Radical
left wing activists are abusing the judicial system to derail
the Republican agenda and steal the US House for Democrats.
(10:57):
I am fighting to stop this blatant attempt to upend
our political system. So that was him saying, ooh. I
filed the appeal Legitimately hours later we get this headline.
Justice Alito has temporary blocked temporarily blocked the Texas Redistricting
Court's order, effectively restoring the newly drawn map rale. The
Supreme Court considers the petition. Upon consideration of the application
(11:21):
of Council for the applicants, it is ordered that the
November eighteenth, twenty twenty five Order of the United States
District Court from the Western District of Texas, case number
three two CV. Blah blah blah, is hereby administratively stayed
pending further order of the Undersigned or of the Court,
et cetera, et cetera.
Speaker 1 (11:39):
So what does this mean.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
It means that that court that had blocked our maps
is now blocked. So the maps are effectively reinstated as
of right now, pending an appeal. We're back. So all
the Democrats that were doing victory labs like Gavin Newsom
here saying we won.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
No, you didn't. You just lost again.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Now this fight isn't exactly over, this still has to
play out.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
But that's not a win for you, buddy. You just
got stopped again. Now there is a small eat, a
bitya betty.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
Sliver of a chance that, for whatever reason, the Supreme
Court after the appeal comes in and says, no, you
know what, never mind that first court was right, We're
throwing these maps out. I can almost guarantee you that
that's not gonna happen. I would be very comfortable putting
money on it. As a matter of fact, I might
(12:39):
I might get on Cawshi. We're not sponsored by them,
and this is not an advertisement for gambling.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
Don't gamble, But.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
If I were a gambling man, that's where I would
put my money. I feel like that's a very safe bet.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Ken Paston praised this.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
In response to our filing, the Supreme Court has just
granted an administrative stay temporarily stopping the District Court's injunction
against Texas's map. We look forward to continuing to press
forward in our case on the merits. And that's what
every single Republican everywhere.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Should be doing right now. Double down on this. We
are in the right, We are allowed to do this.
We should do this.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
We absolutely should because the Democrats have been doing it
to us for years.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
I'm so sick of this. No, we need to take
the high road.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
No we don't. We don't, because you know what happens
when we take the high road. And oh, we're not
going to jerry mander, because they are. They're the jerrymanders.
They're the ones who don't fight fair. We're gonna fight fair. Great,
you can fight fair all you want and lose and
your country will be sold down the road to people
who hate everything about it. While you fight fair and
(13:55):
stand on your principles. Congratulations, good job. I hope you're
happy you didn't Jerry Mander. And now your country is
filled to the brim with illegal aliens that hate you
and what you did. But good job, you took the
high road. Well done. No Jerry Mander. Jerrymander the hell
out of every state where we possibly can secure a
(14:16):
Congress that can put an end to all of this, permanently,
stop this woke garbage, permanently with hard hitting legislation, the
type of legislation that we can't pass because we.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Don't have the majority we need right now.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
But nevertheless, weak need Republicans are going to continue to
insist that we should just bend the need to these Democrats.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Here's Rep.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Kevin Kylie. He's a Republican out of California. And I
don't know anything about this guy or his record. All
I know is from this speech that I'm about to
play you right now, this guy seems like a weakling.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
Take a listen, mister speaker.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
This is the moment to bring the senseless redistricting war
to an end. Today, a federal district court tossed out
the gerrymandered map in Texas with an appeal headed straight
to the Supreme Court. California's jerrymandered map is facing a
similar legal challenge. We don't know how these cases will
turn out, so there is uncertainty at this moment whether
(15:15):
the whole redistricting war is going to end as a
wash or with a modest advantage for one party or
the other.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Now it really shouldn't matter.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I'm against jerrymandering wherever it occurs, no matter which party
stands to benefit. But this present uncertainty has created a
window of opportunity for a bipartisan agreement to bring this
madness to an end. I've introduced Hr four eight eighty
nine to ban mid decade redistricting in every state in
the country.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
That's stupid, it's stupid.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
It is states have a right to draw their own
maps how they please. That's that's true. States have a
right to draw their own maps how they please.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
So what does that mean. It means whatever party in power,
whoever controls whichever state, they're the ones that are going
to decide what their maps look like. And that's good.
That's how it should be.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I don't care about Oh, we needn't no if your
ideas are good enough, you will be able to convince
any voter in any area to vote for you. So
in reality, how the maps are drawn shouldn't really matter
all that much. And again, I can't stress this enough.
The Democrats have been jerrymandering the hell out of their
(16:32):
blue states for forever. It is not time for Republicans
to bend the knee in surrender on this.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
No double down. We are right. The Supreme Court has
said this before.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
They will say it again. Double down. Redistrict everywhere. Every
state with a strong red majority in their legislatures should
be redrawing their maps as we speak. Every Republican governor
should call a special session right now to do this,
because I guarantee you the Supreme.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Court will give you the go ahead.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
It will because the Constitution doesn't say anything that would
bar this, and that is the ultimate authority. Now you
can argue, oh, but it's not fair. I don't care.
I don't care if it's fair. It's legally allowed, and
it is objectively good for the country to get more
Republicans that will pass more Republican policy that is objectively
(17:31):
good for the country. What is good for the country
does not need to be fair. We can redistrict, we
should redistrict.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Is it jerry mandering?
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, but they're gonna do it to us if we
don't do it to them. They have been already. This
isn't hypotheticals.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
This is the real world.
Speaker 4 (17:47):
All right.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
We're gonna talk about this a little bit more in
the next segment. We'll be right back, all right.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
So if I seem very confident to you in my
prediction that this redistricting battle before the Supreme Court now
will go our way, it's because I am. And you
may ask yourself, now, Ethan, how are you so confident?
Are you once again demonstrating your awesome powers of divination?
(18:43):
Or maybe did you just do literally research into what
happened when we did the same thing two years ago.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
It's the second one.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
As much as I would like to say that I
have the gift of foresight, I don't.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
I can literally just look.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
At what we did again quite literally two years ago
and see that this is exactly the same and it's
going to go the exact same way. So here's where
all of this started. And again I've talked about this
in depth in the past. The precedent for what Texas
is doing right now comes from Galveston County. In twenty
(19:22):
twenty one. I've talked with the people at the center
of this, the very heart of the origin of all
of this. It started in Galveston County. Galveston County decided that, hey, actually,
we've been dealing with these forced majority minority districts, these
(19:48):
racially gerry manner districts, for years. The Democrats have sued
us into oblivion, basically forcing us to draw all of
our b brown people into one district. And Galveston County,
on their Commissioner's Court said, wait a minute, I don't
(20:09):
think we actually have to do this, and we can
make a fairly strong case that we shouldn't have to
do this, and I think we can do away with this,
and that's what they did. So in twenty twenty one
they redrew their maps and then they fought that legal
battle for two years, all the way to the Supreme
(20:33):
Court in twenty twenty three. Galveston County Judge Mark Henry,
he told me back in August I had this conversation
with him. I knew exactly what the implications were. This
was no mystery. People act like we stumbled into this
far from it. This was a very deliberate eyes wide open.
We knew exactly what we were doing. They planned for this,
(20:57):
and they fought the battle and they won again.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
This is from twenty twenty three.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Supreme Court won't block new maps for Galveston County. The
Supreme Court on Tuesday afternoon declined to block a ruling
by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
So remember they passed their new maps. They removed they're
racially jerrymannered majority minority districts. There was a lawsuit. That
lawsuit went to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. The
(21:25):
Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals said no, this is fine,
and then that got appealed to the Supreme Court and
the Supreme Court said no, the Fifth Circuit was right,
You're allowed to do this. The Court's three liberal justices dissented, because,
of course, why the hell not. Galveston County officials adopted
the map at the center of the dispute for the
(21:45):
county commissioners in November twenty twenty one. Under the map,
the county's loan majority minority district became the district with
the lowest percentage of black and Latino residents who cares
left will try to tell you that that means those
black and Latino voters can't vote anymore. That's what they're
implying without saying it. They won't say that directly because
(22:07):
they know it's stupid, but that's the image they're trying
to put in there in your head with their rhetoric.
Their dirty little secret is those black and Latino voters
that are now in other districts can still vote for
whoever the hell you want. You can go vote for
a Democrat in a red district. You're allowed to do that.
(22:27):
You can vote for a Democrat in a blue district,
or a Republican in a blue district, or anyone in
any district. There's no rule that because you're in a
red district you have to vote for a Republican or
vice versa, which is obviously true. The Democrats will try
to have you believe that that's not the case.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
And so again here is the precedent. Just all you know, again,
this is.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
From twenty twenty three. The makeup of the Supreme Court
has not changed. It's the exact same case. Just Broader
Texas looked at what Galveston did and said Hey, if
they're allowed to do this, that means we're allowed to
do this.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
So we're gonna do it.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
And that's what started this redistricting war, and the redistricting
war should continue, and the Republicans will win because again,
Democrat states are already super gerrymandered. If the Republicans sack
up and do the same thing, we have far more
ground to gain than they do. They'll gain a little
bit of ground, they'll probably find some extra seeds in
(23:31):
the House.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
We will find way more.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Extra seats in the House if every single Republican state says, hey,
actually we can do what they've been doing for twenty years,
thirty years, forty years. We can redistrict our states too.
We should do it. It'll be good for the country. Anyway,
let's move on. Let's talk about Zoltar Rob Zombie.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
I tweeted this out.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
I thought it was funny pictured Zorhan Mamdani is now
cozying up to fascist dictator Donald Trump. Shameful was being
sarcastic when I tweeted that. I was trying to make
a point, because again, that's how the left views Trump,
that's how they've characterized him. Even Zorhan said all of
these things on the campaign trail. If you followed his campaign,
(24:15):
you could very clearly see that he was going after
Trump on all these points. Trump is a dictator. Trump
is this in that Lottie, Dottie do now. The mistake
I made was I posted this on Twitter, and a
lot of folks, I guess didn't pick up on the sarcasm.
Somebody said, funny, I never knew a Nazi dictator who
negotiated to return Jewish hostages with their favorite I get
(24:37):
I was joking. This was sarcasm. Somebody said it's called respect.
I know it's a joke. So cooperation to make life
better for people is bad. I was kidding anyway, but
just to make the case that this is how. By
the way, and make no mistake Zorhan's voters, if not
Zorhan as well view Trump, there is Orhan not long
(25:01):
ago on the campaign trail, going hard.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
After Donald Trump. Take a listen to this. I don't
believe we can do.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
This while standing up to Donald Trump.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
Came from our neighborhoods, our schools, our apartment lobbies, from
the very fabrinc of our city.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
That's your, nice, Mayor.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
I won't just believe I will deliver this city the
way we run this campaign, with working people at the
heart of it.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
So anyway, the point there is listen to how hard
he was going after Donald Trump, and then look at
that picture of them shaking hands and smiling at the
camera together. If you're one of those far left liberals
who vote for Zorhon Mamdanni because he was saying things
like that against Donald Trump, you think Trump is evil,
(26:05):
You think Trump is a Nazi dictator, and Zorhan Mamdani
I will fight the fascist king, the wanna be dictator.
And then right after winning election, there he is in
the Oval office shaking hands and smiling and taking pictures
and getting along nicely. That's what happened. This was a
very amicable meeting. That does not hurt Trump.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
It doesn't.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
That doesn't do anything to Trump's image because Trump has
for a long time brought in people and made a coalition.
The prime example of this, I think is RFK Junior,
who again was no fan of Donald Trump, but now
he's Trump's Secretary of Health and Human Services. Trump can
(26:51):
bring in Democrats and it boosts him, but the Democrats
have built their entire brand around opposition to Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
So what does that mean for folks like Zorhan.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Who will to motivate his base, requires the image of
opposition to Trump, because remember, already a lot of his
fanciful agenda items have been shot down by other people,
even other Democrats. Like one of his big things was, Oh,
we're gonna get rid of bus fees in New York City.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
How are we gonna do that.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
We're gonna raise the state's corporate tax, And then Governor
Cathy Holgal says, no, we're not.
Speaker 1 (27:29):
We're not raising the corporate tax. So guess what that's gone.
You're not getting your free buses. It's not happening. So
what do you have left? Uh? Housing, grocery stores, Ladi
dai da.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
He desperately needs to find something and he can no
longer be oh, I'm gonna be oppositional to Trump. I mean,
this is devastating for him. And that's why I think
it was a great example of forty chess for Trump
to bring him in and be very hospitable.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
We'll play a bunch of clips.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
After the break in the last segment of this meeting,
and you'll see it was. It was a very nice meeting.
They made it clear that they don't agree on everything
or even most things, but it seems like Trump was
very much in the you know what we're gonna, you know,
see if we can work together wherever, we can work
across the aisle and benefit the people of New York City.
(28:23):
That's what Trump wants. That's what Zorhan says he wants.
I don't know if that's true or not. I doubt it,
but that's at least what Zorhan says he wants. So
I mean, in one fell swoop, Trump has completely ruined
Zorhan's anti Trump brand.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Again. I can't stress this enough. This will not hurt
Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
It will devastate Zorhan Mamdani, devastate him. I'm gonna show
you a lot of examples of this in just a minute.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
We'll be right back. That's a very catchy song.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Again, I'm still looking for an alternative to it, By
the way, I want to. I want to rotate that
one out find a new good bumper song for my
last segment. So if you have any suggestions, if you
have any ideas, reach out to me. Let me know
at Underscore Ethan Buchanan on X you can find me there,
follow me there, Speak to me there.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Gosh, this meeting between Trump and Mum Donnie was.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
A masterclass in how to just be chill and completely
disarm your opponent.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
And again, I really do believe this.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Is going to hurt because his entire image is based
off of being opposition to Trump, and yet here he
is in this meeting being pleasant with Trump, agreeing with Trump,
shaking his hands, smiling for pictures. It's hard to make
the case that Donald Trump is this fascist dictator while
(30:21):
you're you know, being pleasant and cozying up to him
in the Oval Office, because again, would you be civil
with Adolph Hitler. That's who they keep comparing Trump to.
These are Nazis, right, Ice is Nazis, And yet here
he is hanging out in the Oval Office with him,
(30:44):
and again they seem to be coming to some common ground,
even on immigration enforcement. I played you that clip in
the last segment about how uh Zorhan is going to
be resisting Trump pulling people out of New York, and
yet here he is saying, actually, no, we both want
safe new York. And how do you get safe new
York as you deport criminal and legal aliens? And Zorhan
(31:07):
just has to sit there and agree with it and kind
of shake his head. He doesn't want to, but he
kind of has to. And now it's on camera.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Check this out.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Brading Is said a couple troops to New York City.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
I can both have differences when it comes to ice
ages right in New York City.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
I'm just a momorne called ice a.
Speaker 6 (31:25):
Road doverment entity.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
I wonder how you reconcile your differences on both.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
Of those issues. Well, I think we're going to work
them out. And I think that if we have known
murderers and known drug dealers and some very bad people,
you know, we want to get them out. And the
mayor ones have we've discussed this as a great length actually,
maybe more than anything else. He wants to have a
safe New York. Ultimately, a safe New York is going
(31:50):
to be a great New York If it's not safe,
no matter how well we do with pricing and with
anything else, we can talk about anything you want, if
you don't have.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
Safe streets, it's not going to be a success.
Speaker 6 (32:01):
So we're going to work together. We're going to make
sure that if they're horrible people there, we want to
get them out. I think he wants to get them out,
maybe more than I do, so we'll work together. We
discussed it at great length.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
We discussed it at great length. If there's horrible people,
we want to get him out. And I think Zorhana
Grees and Zoron didn't stop him and say no, mister President, respectfully,
I disagree because you can't do that. This was a
genius maneuver. And by the way, it's very consistent with
what Donald Trump's agenda has been. They have been very
(32:35):
clear and consistently saying, hey, listen, we're going after the
worst of the worst. These people that are on our
radar because they're committing other crimes on top of everything else.
Those are the people we're focusing on now. If we
pick up other illegal aliens in the process, If we
kicking your door because we're we've got you on gun
charges or child rape or whatever, and then come to
(32:59):
find out you're living in a house with five other
illegal aliens. Maybe they didn't do anything, but we caught
them trying to get you, and you've got an extensive
criminal record on top of immigrating illegally, guess what we're
grabbing all y'all because you all committed a crime. Maybe
their crime wasn't a severe, maybe they came here for
the right reasons, but they did it the wrong way.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
They still did it the wrong way. It's still illegal.
I'm gonna rest them with you.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
And that's good. That's consistent legally. I like that, and
I think that makes sense. It allows us to get
everybody while still focusing on the people that are the
biggest imminent threat to the health and safety of American citizens.
And it's hard for Democrats to campaign against that.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
It is.
Speaker 2 (33:42):
That's why Zorhan Mamdani didn't say anything in that clip.
He just kind of said there was like yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
Because even Zorhan knows I kind of gotta do something here.
Speaker 2 (33:55):
I can't just go a whole hog on resistance because
guess what, this isn't the campaign anymore.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
This is real life.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Now you have to actually govern and allowing child rapists
and murderers, all those people that we talked about in
the first segment that got arrested here in Houston, those
same people are the same caliber of person, the same
caliber of criminal.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
They're in New York too.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Everybody knows that that's not limited to just here in
Houston and getting them out I think, by and large
is popular. And so despite the fact that he pledged
he was going to resist Trump and resist Ice, he's
probably not really gonna do all that much except for
strong words. And that's going to hurt him with his
(34:40):
base because the base didn't want just words. They wanted action.
Zorhan will not be able to deliver it. That's what
was demonstrated in this meeting. And again Trump did a
very good job of making that point of Hey, we
disagree on a lot, but we might agree on a
few things, and we're going to try to work on
that together. Again, you can't just be all about resisting
(35:03):
the fascist dictator if you're also working with him, which
again Zorhan and Trump, we're both sitting there saying, yeah,
we don't agree on everything, but we're gonna work together
when we can't.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
Here's an example. Take a listen.
Speaker 7 (35:15):
There will be topics that we disagree and I think
we'll probably come to a conclusion and ultimately he'll convince
me or convince him.
Speaker 6 (35:24):
You know, it's for the good of New York.
Speaker 7 (35:26):
Ultimately it's for the good of New York.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
I don't care about.
Speaker 6 (35:29):
Affiliations or parties or anything else.
Speaker 7 (35:31):
I want to see if this city could be unbelievable,
if he could be as spectacular as success, I'd be
very happy there will be.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Now again, he won't be a spectacular success. He'll be
at best kind of milk toast.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
At best. That's the best.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
Possible case scenario. Worst case scenario is he completely destroys
New York City. But there is a best case scenario,
and I think that's what Trump is looking at. But
he also so Trump said something there that I think
was very smart. He said he might convince me. Now,
why did he say that? It's very hard for the
(36:13):
Democrats to paint him as this evil fascist dictator. If
he's saying, actually, my opponents may have some good ideas,
and if they do have some good ideas, we'll we'll
work with that, that's not what a fascist dictator would say.
At no point was Adolf Hitler going, you know, actually
(36:34):
these Jews might have a good point.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
They might be right about this.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
It never happened. Adolf Hitler never said that, and he
never would. So Donald Trump going in and saying, actually,
you know what, Zorhan Mamdani might have some good ideas.
There might be some things that he wants to do
that we can work on together. One of the specific
examples that he gave later in the press conference was
(37:00):
one wants to build houses.
Speaker 1 (37:02):
I like building. I'm a builder.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
We'll see if we can build some stuff. That's a
good idea. That'll benefit everybody. Everybody wants more housing. That'll
bring the prices down. If we can build houses, that's jobs,
that's construction jobs. If we're building apartments, which is what
most of the housing in New York is, that's you know,
maintenance jobs for the maintenance workers for the supers.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
That's that's good. That's positive. That can be a benefit.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
So if Zorhon wants to do that and Trump wants
to do that, and they can work together, and they
can there's some mutual beneficial.
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Action that can be taken. There, by all means, let's go,
let's do it.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
I have no problem with that as a Trump voter,
if he wants to work with Zoron and say, okay,
how can we make it easier to build housing in
New York City.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
By all means, no skin off my back.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
You know who it is gonna hurt, is Orhan Mamdani
because again I keep saying this because it keeps being true.
He had pledged to work against Donald Trump, and now
here's Donald Trump saying, actually we might work together, and
Zorhan going, oh yeah, we might, we might for sure.
(38:11):
Do you really think that the radical liberal base that
elected Zorhan is gonna be happy about that? Probably not. Anyway,
I think that's all I've got again. Check me out
on social media. I'm on TikTok.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Now.
Speaker 2 (38:22):
I still don't think that was a good idea, but
I did it at Underscore. Ethan Buchanan b U C

know what.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
We're gonna take Wednesday off because it's Thanksgiving week. But hey,
thank you for listening, and have a good Thanksgiving.
