Welcome into the Pat and Danny podcast stand. If you
like rodeo action, you're not going to want to miss
this one coming up this weekend. Charlie Isaacs, let's talk
Battle by the River Rodeo.

Yep again, all excited for the Battle by the River Rodeo.
Wildhorse and Sambur Rodeo Productions present it and it's powered
by Steven's Erosi Control. Coming up this weekend, January twenty third,
twenty fourth at the Extremer and End Corbelle.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
I know this is always so much fun. Families have
got to come out to this because there's just so
much to do in see.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Yes, there is going on. We start out on Friday night,
the twenty third, doors open at six. We're going to
have some line dancing instruction by Shut Up and Dance
with Jamie, a local local instructor. So we're going to
do that from six thirty to seven. Rodeo starts at
seven point thirty. Then we'll help that night we'll have

Mutton bus Stein. First twelve contestants can are good to
sign up. It's free to participate as well as they
have a boot race for all the littles. They get
down the arena with Sheppy the rodeo clown, and everyone
walks away at winter with a little goodie bag.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Oh that sounds so cute. Oh my gosh, that's you know,
you always come up with such great creative ideas. I'm
sorry to interrupt you, though, because there's still more fun
to be had.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, yes there is. And then on Saturday is a
family day that doors up in at five thirty and
we will have a free pony ride, stick horse races,
meet and greet the cowboys and cowgirls of Sambor Rodeo Productions,
as well as meet Sheppye the rodeo clown, the pickup men.
It's a fun for all ages, you know, grandma's, grandpa's,

little ones can all get down the arena and get
a feel for it. So that goes on from about
five thirty to six thirty so and then that rodeo
starts at seven thirty, so it's gonna be a it's
a great friendly family time there as well as it's
action packed with all the events going on. We got
bareback bron riding, ranch bronc riding riding, the most dangerous

sporting world bull riding, barrel racing. Yeah, oh no, I.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Was just gonna say, Oh, and barrel racing too. I
love to watch the bull riding really me because I
hold my breath the whole time. But barrel racing, it's
so fast and these contestants are just they're so quick
and agile.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Yes they are. When you're in Extreme Arena and there's
not a bad seat in the house and when you're
seeing that dirt fly and might get a little dirt
in your drink or the action that close to you.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I find it also very fascinating with an extreme arena
because I think there's like, you know, ice down in
there sometimes and then sometimes you get a concert and
then they put dirt down and then all of a
sudden you got a rodeo going. So it works out
really well.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, it's a great group to work with there at
Extreme Arena. They're transforming the arena where they're just the
Heartlanders just playing there. Then the ice goes out and
the dirt will come in on Thursday, and then we'll
be ready to rodeo on Friday.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Oh man, it just sounds like such a great time.
So once again, dates and how can people get tickets
because this is coming up this weekend.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yes, it is so on Friday night doors open at six,
rodeo starts at seven thirty, and then on Saturday the
doors open at five thirty, rodeo at seven thirty. Then
just a big one on the tickets or tickets starting
at thirty dollars on the adult side. So don't be
confused by a third party site. As far as getting

took on the ticket, some people have said, you know,
two hundred dollars tickets, No way, that's not us. So
the only ways that you can get tickets is at
Extremerena dot com or at the Fairway box office. At
Extreme Arena the only two places that you can get tickets.
And we also have a deal going right now where
if you're on select seats, you buy one adult ticket,
get one kids ticket for you.

Yeah. I mean, you guys do such a great job
on these events. There's just no way you're going to
ask two hundred dollars for a ticket. I mean, you're
really a family friendly event and you want everybody to
be able to afford a great night of entertainment.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Exactly. Yeah, we want everyone there. We want to get families.
That's a big push for our rodeo. So we wanted
to be inviting for everyone.
