Speaker 1 (00:00):
Former President Biden had a bit of a rough time
delivering the keynote speech at an LGBTQ event in DC
on Friday. He stumbled a lot, as usual, but it
was this moment that went viral.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
We just have to get up as far as we
keep the faith someone hope, and get back up and
remember who in the hell we are.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
We're the Nine States of Americat it.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Absolute we are. Who are we again? We're the Nine
States of americat.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
It the United States of Americant it was he even
trying to say there.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yeah, I think just America is the United States of America.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I don't know, maybe it was the United States of America.
Got it, maybe you know, but it all kind of.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Just blended together. That was a twenty minute speech for him,
like he should be.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Taking a married Yeah, I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
He was being honored by the LGBTQ plus Victory Institute,
and that's fine, but I mean you kind of know
what you're getting with him at this point, Like, just
give him me a war.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
It ends, Let him say a couple of little things,
don't have him do the keynote.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Speech, come on, But then you get moments like that yeah.
Of course.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Jade Vance is laughing off rumors that his marriage is
in trouble after his wife, Usha, was seen multiple times
recently without her wedding ring. He did say their relationship
has faced some pressure with all the public scrutiny and
his busy schedule, that they've had to make sacrifices, but
he says they're as close as ever. So last month,
she was photographed without her ring at an event with
First Lady Malania Trump, and again last week during her

(01:33):
visit to joint Bass Andrews.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
At the time, a.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Spokesperson said, well, Usha does a lot of dishes, she
gives a lot of bats, and she forgets her ring sometimes.
And then Jade Vance told NBC News that they get
a kick out of the speculation. He said they were
rushing out of the house and she had just taken
a shower forgot to put the ring back on, and
when she got in the car and realized she forgot it,
she said, oh, I better go back in because there's
going to be some psycho on the internet who speculates

(01:58):
about this, and that he told her let them it's
not worth the trip back in the house when they
were already running late and he convinced her. Who cares
what people say, They've just been kind of laughing it
all off.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
So a couple things.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
If there is something going on there, I wonder if
she'll pop up on the online dating caps because well
I'm a big fan of Usha. You know.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
The other thing that really kind of started rumors that
jd Vance was like having an affair. Did you see
that picture of him and Erica Kirk hugging where she
put her hand like in his hair and kind of
like dragged her nails in it. That's not how you
hug somebody that you're not sexually intimate.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
It was very strange.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Let me ask you this as someone who has worn
a wedding ring before, I have not. Did you used
to take it off when you were doing dishes and bads?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Did you forget it?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I very rarely took it off for stuff. I did
not take it off when I was doing dishes. I
did not take it off to give the kids a bath.
I didn't take it off to take a shower.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
Like.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I left it on pretty much all the time, like.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
My rr ring that I wear.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I mean, I'll take it off sometimes if I'm washing
my hands, or doing dishes something like that. But I
always put it right back on. I don't forget it.
And that's an oral ring. That's not you know, supposed
to be a symbol to somebody. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
A couple of updates about the Anna Kepner story, the
eighteen year old Titusville High School cheerleader who was found
dead on a carnival cruise last month. Her sixteen year
old stepbrother is the main suspect, although he hasn't been
arrested yet. Now we're learning the boy's father, who's been
involved in a nasty custody dispute with the mother, says
he never gave permission for his son to go on

(03:32):
this cruise, and he filed court paperwork accusing the mother
of failing to supervise him. He's now seeking more visitation
time with their other two children because of this. Also,
the boy has been kicked out of the family home
and he's staying with relatives in case he was a
risk of danger to any of the other children in
the home.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Now, his older brother.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
The older son, who's eighteen, also took the stand in
the custody battle and said his mom and her husband,
Chris Kepner and his dad have.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Been violent with him.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
He said he was putting a chokehold against the backseat
of a car after they picked him up from school
one day and he wanted to.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Go back to his dad's house because of that.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
And the mom's attorney also said she's not sure what
the FBI is going to do, if he's going to
face federal charges or state charges, but they do think
charges could be coming soon.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
And the mother testified that the two I think the
step brother and Anna Kepner were like best friends.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yes, she said that they were really really close.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
But Anna's ex boyfriend said on Inside Edition that she
was scared of him, that he was obsessed with her,
that it was a big problem.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
She was afraid of him.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
And then the mother also said that her son at
the center of all of this, skipped his ADHD and
insomnia medication for two days on the trip, maybe insinuating
that that's why he allegedly did what he did. And
then ABC News, have we talked about this before they
got the death certificate for Anna Kepner and they say

(05:05):
her death has been ruled a homicide.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Oh, yes, yeah, we talked about that when you were
out it came out like over Thanksgiving, but there's still
no charges.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
And I'm wondering if this has to do with where
they would bring charges because it was in an international waters, because.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
It's pretty obvious right that he's the one, and that's
been the big dispute. How did they charge the state?
Is EFT federal? It was in international waters, they weren't
in the country.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, exactly, all right, So we'll see if we get
some more new developments this week, but that's the latest
on the Anna Kepner case.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Three Tampa men have been arrested after investigators say they
carried out a number of elaborate heightsts across multiple states,
stealing nearly a million dollars worth of high end sneakers.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Like five pairs.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah right, So we talked about one of these break ins.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
It happened right after the Louver heist back in October.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
They cut through the concrete roof of a Champs store
at a mall in Martin County and stole hundreds of
pairs of Nikes and new balanced sneakers. Well, they're accused
of at least a dozen other rooftop burglaries across Florida
and Georgia, and shortly after the Champs heist, deputies were
able to identify them and then spent the last several
weeks tracking their movements. They attempted to do another one

(06:17):
of these heights at the Volutiona Mall in Daytona Beach
and they didn't get very far. Two of them were
arrested at that time, and then the other was later
taken into custody here in Tampa. They're facing multiple felony
charges and they expect there will be additional arrests.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
I remember when the Louver heist happened and this story
came like, I don't know, a.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Day so, yeah, a day or two later, Yeah, and we.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Said this was like the Florida version of the Louver.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
High was going in through the ceiling, lived in a
whole bunch of expensive sneakers.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
And it kind of played out the same way too,
where they arrested a couple of suspects and then there
may be more who were tied to this whole thing.
But a million dollars and high end sneakers.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
I mean, that's a lot of sneakers.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, it's a lot of snakes. They had a whole
operation going there.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
It wasn't just like, you know, going into a shoe
store and stealing a couple of pairs and that was it.
They had a whole deal going on there again, spanning
multiple states too, The Ryan Gorman Show on NewsRadio WFLA.
