One of eleven passengers rescued from a plane crash right
off Far Coast last Tuesday has been arrested on international
drug trafficking churns.

Oh Man, that's a blotch list.

You can't make this stuff up, federal prosecutor say. Forty
year old Jonathan Eric Gardner is a Bahamian drug kingpin
accused of smuggling Colombian cocaine into the US. When military
crews pulled him from the life raft about fifty miles
at sea, agents found him carrying three mobile phones and
thirty thousand dollars in cash wrapped up in an envelope

that had the name of a prominent Bahamian politician.

Survivor Olympia out and says that she feared that the
eleven people in the Life Raft may not survive.

He was oh there for five hours.

Imagine, this emergency situation is happening and you don't know
who you're fighting to survive.

Alongside, right, right, and that and that person that Jonathan
Gardner the whole time must have been trying to think
of ways, like how am I going to get away
with this? Knowing right like either he was gonna die
because he wasn't gonna get rescued, or if he did
get rescued, got a little bit of a problem on
his hands. I mean, I probably would have gotten rid

of the fall.

That's what I'm thinking is he was out in the
middle of the ocean for five hours. Why wouldn't you
get rid of the evidence just kind of, you know,
toss it overboard.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
The thirty thousand in cash.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Sure he didn't want to let that go.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
It might have been consequences. Yeah, Yeah, this is his.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Story that we talked about this on Friday, where the
pilot basically was able to land the plane in the water. Yeah,
when he lost all communication, the engines went out, he
saved everyone, got them all on the raft and I
think he said when they landed, he was like, oh
my gosh, we're still alive. Okay, yeah, he thought they
were going to die.

How unlucky you go to him? How unlucky of a
drug trafficker is this guy?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
And he ended up on that he's lucky survivesh But yeah,
now he got caught smuggling.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Drugs and you're right now we've thirty thousand dollars should
go to the pilot for zeroic actions. And I guess
this guy goes by the nickname Player that's in the complaints.
I don't know if that means, you know, player in
the drug world or player and other things. But is
it player or is it play play? Yeah, yeah, play off.
