Florida State Representative Angie Nixon took her ex of defiance
over redistricting to the next level. On Friday. She tried
to demand a meeting with Governor DeSantis and sat in
his office for five hours. Refused to leave, so she
was removed and arrested. Here's some of what she said
to a reporter during her sit in.

I would love for the governor to come high. Let
you girl. I mean, I'm a city lawmaker just like him.
I would collected just like him. And we need to
have a conversation about why he continues to read maps,
why he continues to play political games, why he is
not looking out for Florindians. We need to have a conversation.

So, after her arrest, the governor shared a post on
x with the caption FAFO and the post he shared
referred to her as ghetto. He also shared another post
and said his office isn't the place for performative nonsense now.
She was the first House member in twenty years to
be formally reprimanded last week over the bullhorn incident during

the vote, which ended up actually causing two Democrats to
vote the wrong way. And here's a little bit of that.

She is clearly in full performance mode right now.

Oh yeah, absolutely. And she's also running for Senate in
a special election too.

Yeah, she's trying to raise her profile doing these stunts,
trying to go viral. I mean it's working, she's going viral.

I didn't know who she was until she pulled that
bullhorn stunt.

And for Governor DeSantis. Look, I would criticize her too,
I don't know. I'd share a post referring to her
as ghetto.
