Speaker 1 (00:00):
Corning boys. Hey, Mike, you hit the nail square on
the head or round whatever kind of nail you're using.
But I digress. We are just like California already. We
are not on our way. We're there, and the fact
that we have slid from top five best states for
businesses to sixteen means we are on our way down
the ladder. And just like California, we're not going to

(00:23):
have new businesses, but we're going to continue to lose
current businesses. But anyway, it's Friday and we are literally
a couple minutes away from taxpayer relief shots. Hey, Mike,
get to it and send me off into the weekend
in a great mood. Have a great weekend, fellas.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Don't don't you know, don't don't play the tax player
relief shots stuff.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
My hands are off. I don't know what you're doing
if you're going to piss some people off.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
No, we're going to get the tax player relief shots.
But I just just as we went in to break,
Fox News was doing an entire I would say, I'm
going to guess at least a three minute segment on
the Kaitlin Weaver case. But here's the coupdi grass about

(01:14):
that story. The Fox News did Bill Mlusion, their reporter
that did all that Yeomen's work reporting from the border
and about how bad.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
The border was.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
He was the one doing the report. He was the
reporter on that store, on the Kaitlin Weaver story. And
I couldn't hear it. I'm only reading the closed caption,
but he said near the end of his report, this
case is so bad that ICE Immigrations and Customs enforcement.
If you are paying attention, you need to do something

(01:48):
with this. So there is a very good chance that
this story will now go viral. Tom Holman is going
to hear about it. What they do, I don't know,
but at least they'll hear about it.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Caution, you are about to experience the taxpayer relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution, you are
about to experience the taxpayer relief shot segment on the
situation with Michael Brown. We do not necessarily relish the
death of any criminal, but we do celebrate our God
given and constitutional right to self defense in the event

(02:25):
that the criminal becomes DRT. The taxpayers spared the cost
of public defenders, court costs, incarceration, and continued parole supervision.
As the sheriff of Santa Rosa County, Florida says, insert
audio here. Our Sheriff Grady of Pope County says, insert
audio here. You have been warned listen at your own risks.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Mike, Yeah, we do on Fridays in this hour do
tax payer relief shots. We call them tax payer relief
shots because somebody's breaking in the house here, more than
welcome to shoot them. In centera's accounting, we prefer that
you do.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Actually, hopefully you'll save the taxpayer's money.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
You can go or I would highly suggest that if
a looter breaks into your home, comes into your home
while you're there to steal stuff, that you take your
gun and you shoot him. You shoot him so that
he looks like grated cheese, because you know what, that's
one leader that won't break into anyone else's home.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
And of course my favorite is I.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
Would tell them, if you value your life, you probably
shouldn't do that in Polk County because the people of
Polk County like guns.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
They have guns.

Speaker 6 (03:36):
I encourage them to own guns, and they're going to
be in their homes tonight with their guns loaded. And
if you try to break into their homes to.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Steal, to set fires.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
I'm highly recommending they blow you back out of the
house with your guns, so leave the community alone.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
And then.

Speaker 7 (03:52):
Sheriff also said, don't attack my deputies. Don't try to
stab or shoot my deputies because if you do, we're
gonna shoot you a lot.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
We're gonna shoot you alive.

Speaker 8 (04:07):
Stop breaking, loser.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Our first one involves a homeowner and three armed intruders.
But no, you don't need a semi automatic weapon. You
just need a six shooter. That's all you need because
you know you got six chances to take out three
armed robbers.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Well.

Speaker 9 (04:29):
Two men are dead after an alleged home invasion in
Pasco County. Investigators say the homeowner shot and killed them
as they tried to break in. A third intruder was
also shot and is now facing charges.

Speaker 10 (04:40):
Eric Yeah Wendy, the homeowner here, will not be charged,
according to the Pasco County Sheriff's office, but the investigation
does continue. In fact, the sheriff's office has been here
since early this morning gathering evidence at this home on
Audrey Road in Landa Lakes. Sheriff Chris Nako says that
the homeowner was home here playing video game games. When

(05:00):
he heard glass break, he got his own gun, and
then he saw a masked man in a hallway with
a gun pointed at him, he shot him. Investigators say
the homeowners shot two other men who were with him,
killing one who shot at him and wounding the other.
The injured man is in the hospital but will face
two counts of second degree homicide because the men that

(05:21):
he was with were killed during this home invasion.

Speaker 11 (05:24):
The secondment allows you to protect yourself by carrying barren arms,
and his homie protected himself, and that sentence that our
citizens of Pasco.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
County will do.

Speaker 11 (05:33):
And I've seen it happen for in the past, and unfortunately,
I think it may have to happen in our future.

Speaker 10 (05:38):
Sheriff Naco also says there was some type of relationship
between the homeowner and the men who broke in, but
they have maybe were after the homeowner's guns that he
admitted he shows off on social media. The two men
that died, we're both twenty one years old and, according
to the Sheriff's office, had a extensive and violent criminal history,
live in Pasco County. Eric Waxler, ABC Action.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
News don't brag about how many guns you have. Don't
post photos of them to social media. Don't brag about
how often you go to the range and shoot, how
you train. Don't brag about kind of what what weapons
you use, because you could just end up with three
people that, oh, look at those pictures that Bozo posted.

(06:23):
Yeah we could, We could sell those on the Federal
Boulevard for bookoo money. Don't do it. A home invader
has an axe a homeowner story out of Duplin County.

Speaker 12 (06:39):
We need to share with you about a shooting, a
fatal shooting, but no charges have been filed now. The
shooting happened on Sheffield Road near Magnolia around six point
thirty a m early Sunday morning. Now Deputies were told
David White was using an axe trying to break in
through the back door of the home.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
A news release says the homeowners.

Speaker 12 (07:00):
Fired multiple shots through the door, hitting White. Deputy say
they found the man lying on his back at the
bottom of the steps with multiple gunshot wounds. They say
a large axe and other weapons were near White's body.
Deputy say after consulting with the DA's office, no charges
are being bought against the homeowners at this time.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Bringing as Okay, let's see again, we've got three masked intruders.

Speaker 13 (07:34):
We start with breaking news a home invasion turns deadly
in Evansville, and right now police are searching for suspects eyewitnesses.
Cody Bailey is live at the scene on Sweetser Avenue
with the latest for US Cody.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Brandon.

Speaker 14 (07:49):
That's why I still someone active scene as well. Just
checking in with Evansville Police and they say that right
now they are waiting for search warrants to come down
to allow officers and investigators to search the home. The
three thousand block of Sweeter Avenue all step offs. You
can see that the area is still taped off. Still
an active police presence here in the Sweeter Avenue area.
We're here at the intersection with McConnell Avenue as well.

(08:12):
Again in the three thousand block of Sweeter Avenue. We
were told this occurred just before two pm officially one
forty nine, when police say that crews were dispatched to
this residence. We are told that the police tell us
that a resident inside the home heard a noise and
went out and saw three individuals in the home. Calls
came in as a burglary in progress. Those individuals were

(08:34):
described as wearing all black as well as wearing gloves.
The resident then fired at the individuals, shooting and killing one.
The other two individuals fled from the back of the
home and are still at large as of this hour.
Just confirmed a couple of minutes ago with Evansol Police
that they are still searching for those suspects now. Investigators
have also been going door to door since I've been

(08:55):
here of the last twenty to thirty minutes speaking with
residents trying to gather more information. Where also told that
the resident who fired the shots was not injured and
they are also being cooperative with police and helping with
this investigation. And speaking of that, we are also told
by police that they are also asking for the public
in the Sweeter Avenue area to be cooperative as well,

(09:17):
searching specifically for anyone with any surveillance video or possibly
doorbell camera footage that may lead them to where these
individuals fled. But again, they're still as of the four
o'clock hour on the loose, still searching for those suspects,
and we can't confirm one of those three potential burglars
was shot and killed by the homeowner here at Sweeter Avenue,
and we expect possibly more details to come later on

(09:38):
tonight from Evansville police and we will pass those along
as soon as we get that information. Reporting live in Evansville,
Cody Bailey, Eyewitness News.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah three, this next one another armed intruder. You're not
even stave at home anymore.

Speaker 15 (09:55):
Or new details just in this hour on a deadly shooting.
Police say the man's shot was an ruder trying to
break into a go forward is line with that new
information released overnight and some updates to at leasse about
thirty minutes.

Speaker 16 (10:06):
Ago, the medical examiner just identified that armed instruder as
twenty two year old Joshua Long from West Mifflin. Police
say Long was shot and killed by a Baldwin man
when he attempted to break into his apartment and rob him. Now,
this all happened around seven o'clock last night on Rosewood
Court in Baldwin. Investigator say twenty five year old man

(10:27):
who lives at the apartment was inside with his fiance
in ten month old child when Long attempted to break
into the apartment and rob him. That's when the tenant
got his gun out, shooting and killing Long. No one
else in this apartment was injured. Officers are continuing to
investigate the shooting and are working with the District Attorney's
office to determine charges will be filed in this shooting.

Speaker 17 (10:50):
Now police say they.

Speaker 16 (10:50):
Took a second man into cussody who was found just
down the road from the scene, and charged him with
drug charges. If you have any information on the shooting death,
you're asked to call Allegany County Police tipline. We're live
at Alleghanty County Police Headquarters, Nicole Ford, Kitty K News.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
You know what, dragon has a darn good taxpayer relief
shot right there. Woman shoots and kills a man armed
with This is unusual, welcome back.

Speaker 18 (11:18):
A night out for two couples turns deadly in Poe
County early this morning. Sheriff Grady Judd says the couples
went out last night and got home this morning. He
says a man and a woman got into an argument.
Then the two men left, but one of them decided
to go back even though his friend told him to
leave several times. That man then got into a domestic
confrontation with one of the women, so he was trying

(11:40):
to get inside using a tire iron. That woman shot
and killed him.

Speaker 19 (11:45):
But you had the right to protect yourself in your
home and to be free from home invaders, armed burglars,
and certainly he was armed with a tire iron and
making an attempt come in for the window.

Speaker 18 (12:01):
Azureff says, based on the preliminary investigation, that woman had
every right to defend herself and her property.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
The only problem I have with that is Sheriff Grady
needs to learn to just speak his mind, poo pooling
around about things. You have a right to defend your home.
The dirt bag was coming in with a tire iron
and you're blewing him away. The popo shooting kill an
armed man.

Speaker 20 (12:28):
That that gentleman could not be allowed to enter to
another residence. You cannot allow him to take hostage.

Speaker 21 (12:34):
As soon as Swat gets unseen, he did. We heard
he reported that he shot one time. At the end,
he finally comes out in the front door. He is
still not complying with their commands, and he walks over
to go to a neighboring residence. They engage him in
the yard before he gets to the residence. They're saying stop,
drop the gun, drop the gun. He doesn't. He tries
to get up to get into that neighboring residence.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
And that's where they had to shoot him.

Speaker 21 (12:57):
He's not diagnosed with anything, but according to the family,
he showed signs of schizophrenia.

Speaker 20 (13:03):
So it's difficult. It's a difficult thing. But again, we're
asking police officers to try to determine what someone is,
what's in someone else's mind. So that's why we have steps,
that's why we look at things, that's why we train
to make sure that when these things come up, if
we get to a point where we have to use
deadly force, it's going to be because it's necessary.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
And then they had to be done at that point,
and you have no choice the popo shoot and kill
a man that's trying to We're again with breaking news tonight.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
A suspect was killed and an Aurora police officer was
hurt after a shooting in a parking lot.

Speaker 8 (13:39):
Started when they get a type of a trespass or
police stated involved a parking lot where airport travelers leave
their cars and then shuttle to the airport. This is
near fifty sixth Avenue and Tower Road in Aurora. Tory Mason,
you're a reporter for a Ora and tory.

Speaker 22 (13:52):
What happened next, Well, it's not rare that APD gets
a call about a suspicious person, but this is an
area where they've been actively trying to reduce motor vehicle
theft and burglaries. Employees reported seeing a man trespassing in
the lot, pulling on car door handles and acting erratically.
The man was described as disheveled, possibly under the influence
or experiencing a mental health crisis. An officer found him

(14:16):
loitering in a grassy area toward the back of the lot.
Police say there was communication and efforts to de escalate
the situation. The chief says this appeared urgent. Another officer
even rammed a gate to reach that responding officer more quickly.
At one point, the officer was pulled to the ground
by the suspect. A taser was used. At first, he
managed to get up and push the suspect off of him,

(14:37):
but the struggle continued.

Speaker 23 (14:39):
The suspect continued to fight with the officers. They actually
rolled around on the ground. There was some debris taken
off or some equipment taken off of the officer's belt.
The officer was able to regain his stance and move
away from the suspect. The suspect appeared to then do something,
not really sure what, and at that point an officer
involved shooting occurred.

Speaker 22 (15:00):
Police say more commands were given before the officer fired
his weapon. Both the suspect and the officer were transported
to the hospital, where that suspect later died. The officer
has minor injuries. The officer's body camera was on during
this altercation. It's still unclear, however, whether that suspect was armed.
We're live in Aurora, Tory Mason covering Colorado First h Toy.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Thank you, you know, fascinated me about that one was
somewhere back here. The reporter says something about Aurora rarely
gets calls.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
She said it was not unusual for it was not
unusual for a disturbance call.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
But yeah, yeah, let's see a man brings a knife
to a gunfight, and of course we know what happens
when they do that. Dummies.

Speaker 24 (15:41):
That breaking news out in Brooklyn where police saying they
were forced.

Speaker 15 (15:45):
To shoot and kill a man during a domestic dispute.

Speaker 24 (15:48):
And Fox Eye Lundishment is live at the seventy third
Precinct in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Speaker 17 (15:52):
So what do we know as of right now.

Speaker 25 (15:55):
Well, as you're just saying there, we are outside the
seven three precinct here in Brooklyn and there going to
be having a news conference at six point thirty the
NYPD to update us on the situation. But what I
know right now is the suspect who was shot was
taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Go ahead,
take a look at this video because this is a
scene that we shot just a short time ago. It's

(16:16):
a nightja housing complex and apartment at one Oa Christopher Avenue.
This all happened about three o'clock this afternoon here in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Now,
police were responding to a nine to one to one
phone call of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, the
suspect was in the apartment and he had a knife
in his hand. A pastor who works with folks in

(16:37):
this community told me just a short time ago that
police tried to stop him first with a taser, but
the taser did not prevent the man from continuing to
move toward police officers. A police source of mind also
saying that the man continued to lunge at police with
the knife in his hand. After again, the pastor said

(17:02):
he had been tasered, but it did not work. It
was at that point that one officer opened fire, firing
one round but again. NYPD holding a news conference here
just in about twenty eight minutes from now to update
us on the latest information here, but that suspect now
has died at Brookdale Hospital.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
Becking sight to you all.

Speaker 15 (17:21):
Right, Linda, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Does a taser ever work? I don't think they ever
had one where the taser will. Yes, we wouldn't have
it anyway, because if the taser worked, we wouldn't have
a tax player relief shot. See a man fires a
gun at the popo.

Speaker 24 (17:35):
One man is dead after exchanging gunshots with police this
afternoon along York Road. Fox thirty five. Jeff Abel has
been following this story.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
For us all day, and Jeff, what can you tell us?

Speaker 26 (17:45):
We detectives are still piecing together details of this afternoon
shootout and trying to understand why it became so violent
so fast. It was just after lunch when bullets began
flying at York Row in cold Spring Lane.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
I need units to shut off your cold spring and
give a unifor here the Crown.

Speaker 26 (18:05):
Control, According to police, officers working this area, had attempted
to question a twenty six year old man, but that
man responded with gunfire.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
That's probably not a good way to respond. I wonder
what happens to him. Well, we'll find out next.

Speaker 7 (18:21):
Don't attack my deputy.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
So, Michael, with regard to taxpayer relief shots, if you
get a taser and be able to use a successfully,
it would be a taxpayer relief shot.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Man, stick to your day job. Stick to the day job. Yeah,
leave the jokes to us. Yeah, because we really suck.
We're for fast. You're just you're just sort of sucky.
We're totally sucky. All right, here we go. Man, fire's
the gun, I mean, manfires at the cops. Cops shoot back.
What else you need to know?

Speaker 24 (19:02):
One man is dead after exchanging gunshots with police this
afternoon along York Road. Fox Thretey Times Jeff Abel has
been following this story for us all day.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Jeff, what can you tell us?

Speaker 26 (19:12):
Well, detectives are still piecing together details of this afternoon
shootout and trying to understand why it became so violent
so fast. It was just after lunch when bullets began
flying at York Road in cold Spring Lane.

Speaker 4 (19:27):
I need units to shut off cold Spring and give
a unifor here for Crown Court.

Speaker 26 (19:32):
According to police, officers working this area had attempted to
question a twenty six year old man, but that man
responded with gunfire.

Speaker 27 (19:40):
This is an area we've had some violence recently. They
saw someone that they wanted to speak to. As they
got out of the vehicle, the suspect took off running
withdrew the weapon. Officers ordered him multiple times to drop
the weapon. Instead, he elected to shoot at one of
our officers that was in a vehicle, and officers return fire, shooting, but.

Speaker 26 (20:00):
That suspect died at the hospital. Officers were not injured.
But this neighborhood is no stranger to gunfire. Two years ago,
six people were shot at this very location, including an
eighteen year old girl. Four years ago, a city sanitation
worker was shot and killed at this very same location
of York Road and Cold Spring Lane.

Speaker 21 (20:21):
Cannot drive up and down the street at any time
in a day, let alone in the early afternoon, and
not be full of people in cars.

Speaker 26 (20:28):
Police have yet to indicate what prompted today's violent response,
but those who live and work in this community are
becoming numb to the violence.

Speaker 28 (20:36):
Does that surprise you, No, not anymore.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
You calmed me to where it is.

Speaker 29 (20:42):
It's like everybody in survival morning and they survive.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
In at have what people expenses?

Speaker 26 (20:50):
Well, police have yet to identify the twenty six year
old who died in this case. The officers involved have
been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation.
We're live to Jeff abl Fox forty five.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
You know what's kind of sad about this one is
that guy's comment about, Yeah, we're just becoming numb to it.
It's just becoming a way of life. It really is sad,
isn't it. Let's see a man with a rifle.

Speaker 11 (21:15):
After noon.

Speaker 30 (21:16):
Two officer involved shootings over night, one in Ingridge and
one in Fairbanks. We'll start with Fairbanks, where two are
dead following an officer involved shooting on Washington Drive and
police say one was already dead before police arrived. Adrian
Peterson joins us live from the scene with the latest details.

Speaker 31 (21:33):
Adrian Kristen the Department of Public Safety says officers from
the Fairbanks Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance here
on Washington Drive around ten twenty pm last night, when
Fairbanks Police officers arrived on scene.

Speaker 32 (21:49):
They say thirty six year old Thomas Bean a Fairbanks
began shooting at them and shooting at the officers with
a semi automatic rifle. Officers return to fire, and that's
when Bean was atally shot, according to Ast, who assisted
in the response. Following the shootout, investigators say they found
being had been shot and had shot and killed Jesse

(22:10):
Biggood of North Pole. Now, no officers were killed during
the exchange, but two FPD officers sustained to minor injuries
from shrapnel. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating
the incident, and the investigation will be reviewed by the
Alaska Office of Special Prosecutions. The officers involved in the
shooting have been placed on administrative leave.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Now.

Speaker 32 (22:33):
Next of kin have been notified for both of those
who were deceased on scene, and the state Medical Examiner
will receive their bodies and examine them.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Wow, Alaska two for in Alaska? Well cold dark, So
shouldn't we get that dark anymore? None of these neither
of these involved girl Dad? Do we do?

Speaker 5 (22:53):
We know?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
We haven't heard from him in a couple of days. Well,
he been mowed me twenty eight since the other day
he venmowed me twenty eight cents, and something to the
effect of, you know, for this is for at one
thousand dollars an hour my consulting fee. That's buying a
couple of seconds of me listening to his stupid talkback

(23:15):
or whatever it was.

Speaker 20 (23:16):
Hey got that?

Speaker 3 (23:16):
I get a venmo too, come on, or I.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Can apply it to a McDonald's back. KOCHI said, Wow,
So now I got a stupid twenty eight cents sitting
in my Venmo. Yes, let's see. The Popo shooting killed
an armed driver.

Speaker 30 (23:32):
Rehaving our top stories this morning. One person is dead
following an officer involved shooting in east an Gridge last night.
According to police Chief Shawn Case, officers pulled over a
vehicle just after eleven thirty due to a headlight that
was out chaf Case says two officers walked up to
the car's window, saw two people inside and a handgun

(23:52):
on the driver's lap. After verbal communication with the people
inside the car, Chiefcase says, the officer on the passenger
side fire their gun, killing the driver. Chief Case was
unable to tell us this morning. During that news conference,
if the driver touched the gun again, I.

Speaker 14 (24:08):
Will I'll kind of use the latter are of the
driver as a very broad term because, as I already mentioned,
what the oscer saw in terms of the movement of
that gun.

Speaker 33 (24:17):
That would make sure later off the.

Speaker 10 (24:18):
Oscars are interviewed.

Speaker 30 (24:20):
Case says the shooting was captured on police brewser downshtam
and body warn cameras, but because of it taking place
at night, the footage could be hard to see.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Yep, Well, don't shoot at cops, right, uh oh oh.

Speaker 7 (24:36):
Woman, don't attack my deputies. Okay, don't try to stab
or shoot my deputies, because if you do, we're gonna
shoot you a lot.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
We're gonna But is he really gonna shoot him dead?
They shot them dead. You didn't shoot him alive? Uh?
They shoot and kill somebody else.

Speaker 34 (25:01):
In this one, a woman is shaw and killed after
a confrontation with.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
A woman good, non discriminatory.

Speaker 34 (25:08):
A woman is shaw and killed after a confrontation with Roward.

Speaker 26 (25:11):
Sheriff's deputies, the department saying they were forced to fire.

Speaker 35 (25:15):
CBS News Miami's Morgan Vine and joining.

Speaker 36 (25:17):
Us line from that neighborhood and.

Speaker 5 (25:18):
Just hope folks know.

Speaker 30 (25:19):
This is right off of Hillsboro past the bridge near
Ocean Drive.

Speaker 36 (25:23):
Morgan, what are you learning this morning? Yeah, good morning, guys.
I want to take you straight to new video that
we got in the last half hour where you can
see a car being towed away here from the scene
and it has at least three bullet holes that we
counted in the windshield of the car. Now, the Brower
Sheriff's Offhae said they responded to reports of a woman

(25:45):
with a gun inside of a restaurant nine thirty Wednesday evening.
She left the business, but deputies came face to face
with her in the parking lot and a shooting broke out,

how that deputy is doing now. Per policy, whenever there
is a deputy involved shooting, safe Investigators at Dalyite takes
over the investigation. I'mlive in Deerfield Beach, Morgan rein Or
CBS News Miami.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Well, women, stop it, suspect. A suspect exits a home
and then does something stupid with predictable results.

Speaker 37 (27:04):
I know the name of the man who was killed
and an officer involved shooting in Wilson County. We told
you about this as breaking news last night. It happened
outside of home on benders Ferry Road after a standoff.
Official say thirty three year old James Parker barricaded himself
in the home for several hours. He came out after
negotiations with deputies and then shot at them. Deputies fired back,

(27:26):
killing Parker. The TBI is investigating.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Shocked donut shop owner. Now this is getting serious. Donut
shop owner.

Speaker 34 (27:36):
We are, however, going to begin with breaking news this
noon hour out of southeast Houston. Sources say an attempted
robbery at a donut shop has turned deadly. Jonathan Lehee

Speaker 2 (27:48):

This is the.

Speaker 29 (27:54):
Intersection when that shooting all took place right behind me
here at the Snowflake Donut Now, Houston Police confirmed that
a person was shot and keeled at this donut shop here.
I was able to speak with the owner of this
shop here and she tells me that they have been
in this place for twenty five years and safety and
security has always been a concern for them. So this

(28:16):
morning they had this robber targeting one of their employees
at the register. The employee was shaken up, she was
nervous about the.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Contact that she had with that.

Speaker 29 (28:28):
Robber, and that's when the owner's husband shot and killed
this robber. As you can see, it is closed right now.
You have some patrons are coming in trying to go
into the business, but it's clearly closed right now. The
owner tells me that it's a scary situation for everyone involved. Now,
we are hoping to get more sound, more surveillance video

(28:49):
when they've become available. You can stick with us. Both
on here and online at Fox in the sixties in

see home invasion suspect. Yeah, we got perfect time for
this one.

Speaker 38 (29:11):
The County Sheriff's office investigating a deadly home invasion that
happened early this morning. Deputies were called to a home
on Hope Drop about one o'clock this morning. First responders
confirmed that they found one person who had been shod.
Authorities discovered that the victim was the person who allegedly
tried to break into that house. They say the suspect
was declared dead at the scene. At this time, the

(29:33):
coroner's office has not yet released the identity.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Boom taxpayer relay shots.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
After this, Ronnie, sounds like you need some cheering up
this morning.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Well, I'll tell you what. I'm here in town.

Speaker 21 (29:45):
Let's say after the show we get together, you buy
me a sandwich.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
Oh my god, can you imagine? Dragon? Just shoot me now?

Speaker 3 (29:57):
If you're buying I'll go, well, of course.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
You'll go fine buying cheap math. Home invasion suspect and
a homeowner. That's a match, kind of like me and
the truck driver. It's just going to turn into a fatality.

Speaker 38 (30:17):
To County Sheriff's Office investigating a deadly home invasion that

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Drt Dead right there, one thug. This one's pretty good,
I think.

Speaker 17 (30:50):
Police say the end suspects broke into multiple cars overnight
in Caronda Let. They say when gunfire rang out, one
of them accidentally shot and killed their sixteen year old
accomplished new accomplice new Tonight five in your side, Robert Town.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Say that was an accomplishment and picks up.

Speaker 17 (31:07):
The story with reaction from concerned neighbors.

Speaker 28 (31:10):
Saint Louis police say in the thick of the night.
Early Friday, several teenagers pulled up near Vermont and Holly
Hills Avenues in Carondelet in South City. The mails then
hopped out of a dark colored car and randomly broke
into at least six cars.

Speaker 39 (31:26):
It happened on several occasions in the last eight months
or so.

Speaker 20 (31:31):
This neighborhood is very safe. Generally, when we have these
kinds of interactions, we know that it's coming from someone
that doesn't live in this neighborhood.

Speaker 28 (31:40):
Neighbors ring doorbell cameras caught the crimes on video.

Speaker 39 (31:44):
They were going from car to car, one person who
stand at the car trying to break in, and the
other one point a gun at the house just in
case anybody came out.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
A neighbor tails five year side.

Speaker 28 (31:56):
He fired two gunshots at the ground in his backyard,
hoping to scare the young criminals off like it sounded.

Speaker 2 (32:03):
Like boom boom boom.

Speaker 40 (32:09):
And the group of car breaking suspects fired multiple shots
at an individual.

Speaker 28 (32:14):
One of those shots hit one of the teens. Police
tell us the other suspects brought the wounded teenager here
to Barnes Jewish Hospital. That team suffered a gunshot wound
to his head and later died here.

Speaker 40 (32:26):
We believed the vehicle was involved in other car break
ins earlier this morning through outside of the city of
Saint Louis.

Speaker 28 (32:33):
The brazen car break ins and tragic loss of a
teen have rattled this neighborhood.

Speaker 20 (32:39):
Someone loved him, multiple people.

Speaker 39 (32:42):
Probably, and he gets shot because they get confused.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, it's Robert Townsend, five year side.

Speaker 17 (32:49):
Police have not released the name of the teenager who died.
They say it is the first homicide in the Karna
Let neighborhood this year.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
Right, it may be sad, but it's also just stud
homeowner well, another homeworner.

Speaker 33 (33:05):
Detectives with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office investigating and attempted
burglary turned deadly shooting.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
Good evening, I'm Josh Chapin.

Speaker 33 (33:12):
We are now learning the person who was shot and
killed was a high school senior seventies. Christian Flores is
in the community where that shooting happen, and he has
new reaction from neighbors.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
People who live here tell me this is a quiet neighborhood.
It's not a place where you get woken up by
gunshots in the middle of the night, but now after
a deadly shooting, they're looking for answers.

Speaker 22 (33:32):
There was way more.

Speaker 35 (33:33):
Of a police presence than I've ever seen before.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
Dawn Saturday morning, investigators with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office
responded to a report of an attempted homeburger.

Speaker 35 (33:42):
Well, when he came around the corner and I saw
the police cars and they were talking to different neighbors,
and obviously they were investigators, not just like beat cops
or whatever, I did assume that something very bad had happened.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
According to detectives, it happened around three am. Police are
calling an attempted burglary led to the homeowner opening fire.
Police at the scene found one adult and one juvenile
with gunshot wounds, and a third person another juvenile who
was not injured. Eighteen year old Michael Bosler Junior, was
transported to the hospital.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
He knows they've all involved, the last few involved juveniles. Yeah.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
