World, Orlando, Florida.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is the theme park Podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Wait podcast, is this on the radio?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Anyway, here's your host, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Hey there, and welcome to this Jimmy D Birth Birth,
dugheah dughead theme Park Podcasts. He literally said, before I
hit record, call me jughead.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
As we record this show, Jimmy is wearing a crown
and a birthday princess sash, and the crown does look
a little bit like a jughead situation.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
You will both bend the knee or your houses will burn.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
And for the young people out there listening, you have
to google what a jughead is. It's from the olden days.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I watched Riverdale. I know exactly what you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
Oh was that was he in that?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah? Played by one of the Sprouse ones.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Did he wear the hat you are hot? Yeah, same thing,
same thing as Jimmy's gone.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
No, it was like a beanie.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
That's not that's not juughhead.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Jug Head's gotta wear the the burging crown.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yeah. Anyhow, Welcome to this theme park show. I'm Dickerman.
There is Jimmy da It is his birthday today, Happy birthday, James.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
No, no, I'm seeing here, jug Ahead Jones, Veronica, Betty Archie.
This is the this is this Riverdale.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
And the jug head expert on the show, mister Scott Harris.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Actually watch it. I watch shows, other brillianty Verse.

Speaker 5 (01:31):
Shows, and we purposely chose the purple hat for you
because it's very joker esque.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Oh I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
I also thought like, isn't that dinosaur he likes purple
Barney figment. Yeah, yeah, yeah see I geah. This is
this is why I chose that.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
Okay, you should save that half for somebody's birthday on
game day.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Well, there actually is there a game on my birthday. No,
there isn't after my birthday because that's the that's the
day that the mariachi band from Mexico at Epcot will
be performing the national anthem. It is the greatest performance
I've ever seen. It's amazing. If you have a chance
to go to that game, I highly recommend going. They

(02:19):
hold the crowd in the palm of their hand.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Here's the only problem I ever had with a mariachi band.
I want Mexican food. Immediately after they start playing I
want some Mexican food.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
The Mariachi used to the Mariachi band from Epcot that
those that group of musicians are amazing as they are, Yes,
because I heard them out there, and I know it's
a little bit on the news, but they were playing
songs from CoCom remember me, Yes, And I was just like,
this is fantastic.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
M M.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Like, I was like, this is better than the movie.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
You said, I looked like Joker. I Before I flip
the table, I need to know which.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
One, well, not that Jared Leto or yes, not that one.
Now let's go Heath Ledger. I want to give you
a complimentary Yeah, but I was going to say Jack
Jack Jack Nicholson. Yeah, okay, are you okay with that?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I mean I would have preferred the Mark Hamill Batman
the animated series one, but I'll take going deep now.
He played him like for like eighteen different times.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Yeah, he'd probably played Joker more than any other person
in the history of Batman.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
I'm an adult and I don't watch cartoons. I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
And when I when I read comics, Uh, the voice
that I hear my head is Mark Hambell as the Joker. Okay,
all right, I highly I highly recommend watching Batman, the
animated series, Batman, Mask, the Phantasm, all of these.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I just can't get into it, like unless it's The
Simpsons or like Family Guy, I can't get into cartoons.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
Basically, if it doesn't have uh for jokes, he's not in.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
That might be true, so disappointed in you? That might
be be true? All right? Should we get into the
park talk?

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Did you just make a note? And yes, I can
say that.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
I don't know if you can.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I've said that exact term the Family a million times
on the radio station that we're broadcast on. But if
you want to take it out to be safe, I
am fine with that.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Should we get into theme parks? Yeah? What are we
talking about this now?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
You you're challenging me to remember something from a week ago, right, yep,
something from seven days ago. I have absolutely no idea
unless it's this or that, Jimmy, do you remember?

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Well? One thing is we went to a theme park.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
You guys?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Did we did go to a theme park? That's right, Yes,
that's a that's the thing we could talk about. But
there's something else apparently, Yeah, I gave you.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I gave you a task.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Oh no, I was at homework.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yes, Disney announced a new CEO, Josh Tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Yes, that's right. Yes. And the task was to come
up with a.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Wishless Okay that you was?

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Yeah, I do you have a wish list of things?
Because there are things that I immediately want, immediately I
want to But right now.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
He's gonna go. Let's talk about when we went to
Kennedy Space Center.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Well do we want to go Kennedy Space Center? I
want to say what we're getting rid of or what
we're changing.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
It's Jughead's birthday, all right, Jughead, what do you want?

Speaker 4 (05:18):
I would like to talk about Kennedy Space Center? Right, Well,
let's talk about Kennedy Space Center. It was for your birthday.
It was a group yourself, Lauren Campbellreilt dot com Man, Molly,
Marie Fraser, and Matthew Simmons and I all went out
there to.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Using everyone's like government name.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Yeah, why don't you just call them?

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Why are you boxing everyone?

Speaker 5 (05:39):
It was Dickerman, Matt blogging, Molly and my wife.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Okay, fine, Dickerman, Matt blogging, Molly and well we do
laurencampbellrealtter dot com. That's a brand okay, Yes, all right,
so yes, out for a day at Kennedy Space Center. Yes.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
And the reason we were like, well we were going
on the sixth because that was potentially the first time
that Atlantis could Atlantis, Artemis could launch Artemis two.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
And I mean if if if Atlantis was launching, yeah,
that would be that'd be neat.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
That would have been catastrophic to that building. But that's
neither here nor that, No Artemis. So the idea was
we're either going to get to see Artemis launch or
we're going to see Artemis on the launch pad. And
as as of this recording, March sixth is now the
next possible launch window.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Are you still hanging out on the launch pad? But
we did see him out there?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Yeah? Her out there?

Speaker 4 (06:34):
Her?

Speaker 1 (06:34):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Artemis is the twin sister of Apollo, and the Apollo
missions are what took us to the Moon the first time.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
You gonna be honest, I thought Apollo was a dude too,
So I really Apollo is a dude. Oh okay, it's
kind of a g Luke and lath kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I got you there, diither. Yeah, yeah, I got you.
Not identical, okay, Yes, he was going to see the
Apollo and Artemis way different. So we see the Artemis
out there.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
That was cool, yes, and included with your day admission,
you can take the bus out to the LC thirty
nine that Scott recently went to.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
I did. Yeah, last summer, you guys had a little
bit cooler weather than when I went.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Oh ye, so cold.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
And then like when you get to the top of
that the gantry, and then our friend Matt was laughing
because he's like, I've never said gantry more in my
life than.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
I never said it until that day as the first
time ever heard the word gantry.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
Well, anyways, you go up to the gantry and we're
at the top and one side of the building it
is windy, blowing like minus twenty degree wind in your face.
You go to the other side of the building and
it's still there's no wind, and you could just stand
there and look at the Artemis. Yeah, but the problem
was the best angle was just over the edge in

(07:47):
the windy spot.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Yeah, and that wind would cut right through you.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
It cut right through you.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Oh yeah, I said the dickerment. I was like, am
I wearing clothes. It does not feel like it.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah it was. It was a chilly day for sure.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Yeah. I had to go get my and break out
of the car. And I never get I always power through.
I could not power through this time.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
It's hard at a place like that where you're just
outside so much.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Yeah, like we didn't. It didn't even occur to us
how much we would be outside. And then the problem
is is because the park is built for hot weather,
there's all this shade, and for the first time ever
a theme park, Yeah, everybody's like, the heck with the shade.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
You just want to, like you, yeah, you want to
like lay down in like the Rocket Garden.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
And just like.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
Dickerman did this weird like Rio de Janeiro Jesus pose
out in the sun, like he was staring up at
the sun with his face with his eyes closed and
his palms up and we're like.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Are you I was warming and recharging.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
I was like, are you a bird? I thought he
was solar powered For a second. I was just like
it was so cold.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
I was like I just wanted to soak in as
much sun as I could at that time.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I will say though, one of my favorite things was
when you go to the platform where they have like
the launch simulation, the simulation of the booster engine.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yet the engine simulation.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
It's like the.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Best nature like viewing I've ever had, because like when
I went, we saw like we saw like manatees. Oh
I saw chubby boy. Chubby boy I did he was
not happy.

Speaker 5 (09:19):
See Even the seagulls we saw were wearing scarfs.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we didn't. We didn't.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
We saw some gators. I mean we saw some gators.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Lawyer drivemon and we saw oh yeah like when you're
on the Boss and everything. Yeah, yeah, we saw some gats.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
But yeah, like we didn't get under for the launch
thing because it was very wet under there, so it
looked like you might get moist and I did not
have any interest in getting wet at that.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
It's not that bad.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Now its one hundred and fifty to blow zero outside.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I don't believe it was that that.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
It was pretty close to that.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
Yeah. At one point, Scott, I bought so much arguments
two merchandise while I was there.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
You told me about one of your purchases. But we
don't have to talk about on it are.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Well, I do want to talk about this be real
quick because it is an important tip for the listeners.
So you got the biggest, you know, space shop in
the main area, but everybody goes there to get the stuff.
So I went there. They didn't have the pins I wanted,
so I got another pin that I did want, but
there was another pin set that I wanted, they didn't

(10:23):
have that there. They didn't have the initial T shirt
I want, so I got my backup option and then
I did get my stickers and my hat there. I
didn't know about the hat, so that was kind of
like a bonus. But then when we went to Gantry
thirty nine, they had a gift shop there and they
had all new, like different things, like the initial shirt
that I wanted. They had the right size. So what

(10:44):
I did was when I bought the first shirt, I
don't want to carry this around all day. I don't
want to go back to the car.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
It's cold.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I put he had like seventeen layers.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
So I go to the gantry. They got the gift
shop there, they had the T shirt that I really wanted,
and they actually had different merchandise. So you couldn't find
anywhere else.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
That probably only place where you get the Eagle that
Matt bought, the stuff eagle that everybody's asking about. Where'd
you get that?

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I remember that?

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, So it was you know, that was fun.
And then we went to another gift shop and that
was where I finally found the pin set. So my
point being is that you should check all the gift shops.
If there's something you really want and there's a size
that you're looking for, check all the gift shops because
they all seem to have a little bit different like,
you know, I guess variety, Yeah, a little bit different variety.

(11:29):
So I was able to get everything that I wanted good. Yeah,
I had quite the extensive shopping list and I ended
up getting one extra T shirt that I didn't need.
But I was wearing three T shirts, an undershirt, sweatshirt,
and then a windbreaker. Yeah, and it was still cold.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
So when we left at LC thirty nine, where did
we go after that? What's the next stop?

Speaker 5 (11:54):
The next stop was the seven or five building and
that was great. We ate at the Rock Cafe.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
And that was the best theme park food.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
Yeah, and understand that KC only has like quick service foods,
but as far as like I would put Kennedy Space
Center's quick service food up against any other theme parks
quick service food, and they will beat them.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
I got French dip. Yeah, he got a French dip.
My wife got a French I got An's too bold
for you. First of all, it has like another country
like in the name.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
I will have you know. I like Kobe now, okay,
I'm a big boy.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
Okay, but you get like Chicken.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Or I tell them no vengies. Yeah, I say double noodles, double.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
The rice, rice and the noodles. Their carbs are just fantastic.
My gosh, and that white sauce. I guarantee it's like
clogging my veins as it's touching my tongue, but I
don't care. It's worth the coronary. Yes, but yeah, I
got a the Artemis Burger, you know. Yeah, I was

(13:00):
on theme. And it had like a hallopeno jam and
some like I want to say, a cheese, maybe a
pepper jack. But what was great is they had a
topping bar and like most of the time, the topping bar,
you get to it and it looks weathered. This was
like towards the end of the lunch rush and everything
on the bar was fresh christeam yes, and like I

(13:21):
went up to it and I was like, no, I
actually do want this stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Yeah, because most of the time I look at them
like what happened to you?

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Now? And then I love the fact that they have
Heinz ketchup, which is that is such a win because
like if you bring that that.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Cat's up Hunts the Hunts brand.

Speaker 5 (13:38):
I wasn't trying to call anybody out. There's two ketchups
in the world, Hines and Hunts. Yeah, there's a lot
more than that. The only other acceptable ketchup, in my
opinion is McDonald's fancy ketchup.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
I thought that was I thought that was Heines.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
It it depends it used to be Hines. And it
also depends upon which, like France tis you go, which
region of the world you go to. But for the
most part, McDonald's produces their own ketchup okay, all right,
or they have their own like line of ketchup, like.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Their own coke I think in the Fountain thing, but
I think they have like a different little bit of
a different formula or something.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
They claim it's not. They claim it's I know, they
claim they claim it's not.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
But I think it's a lot. There's something about like
the McDonald's coke. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it hits a
little bit differently.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
I know what you're talking about. I know exactly what
you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Or it's the combination of ice and everything.

Speaker 4 (14:27):
Fruit talk, yes, but moving on. Okay, So when we
get to that, the was it Atlantis was Atlanta Cell.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
Five building, and then from there we take the bus
back to the visitor center, like the main area, and
then we get in line for Atlantis.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
So I'm a baby, okay considered, I have no idea
what I'm walking into. I'm just like a child. And man,
it's like, this is my favorite thing in the world.
And I'm like, I'm like, okay, it's a movie. I mean,
the movie is good. All the screens, it's cool. Oh
my gosh, that is like a revealed tears are just yet.

(15:02):
There is no way you can prepare yourself for that reveal,
especially if you don't know it.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
If you don't know it and you see it's it's amazing.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Yeah, and we were all very good, and we all
made sure not to spoil anything because yeah, yeah, Mad
had never been to Kennedy Space in a period Dickerman
hadn't been since we saw Peter Collins there for Transformers two. Yeah,
so he's you know, he hasn't been there in like
ten fifteen years.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
And he wouldn't remember any I don't remember a thing
about other than Peter Cullen being mad about not being
e or anymore. Yeah, it's about all I remember.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
And man, do you guys do the launch experience? We
did do the launch experience. That was honestly, we did
the launch experience. That's another thing that's crazy. We got
there at rope Drop nine am. We're in the park
and most of the time you're like, okay, it's been
like six hours. Is this still an hour for this
place to open. We were at our watches like, oh crap,

(15:58):
we only have ten thirty minutes.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
You gotta like knuckle down. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
We did not waste time. We did like as much
as we could and did not get close to even
complete in the park.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
The lunch experience was cool too. That was really awesome.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
There was this girl in front of Jimmy that had
really long hair and it was just like floating in
the air. That's so cool. She was like embarrassing, like.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
No it's awesome, yeah, because it like it doesn't and
like her hair was just like, yeah, that's a great
visual for radio.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Yeah, but it was it was a really it was
a neat day.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
I had not been I didn't remember anything about most
of everything that was there.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
So it was great.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
When we bought the tickets, you could buy a day
and then you get another day for like ten bucks more.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
So they always have deals and stuff going on.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:40):
Yeah, we checked around. We looked at you know, Kennedy Proper,
and we looked at Costco, and then we checked AARP
and Triple A.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Don't point at me. I don't have an ARP card yet.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
Honestly, because of age discrimination laws. You only have to
be eighteen to join AARP.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
The thing is leg like if you're a teacher, absolutely
pay attention to it because I believe you can get
if you have like the biggest certificate with you, you
can get a pass. I believe it is for free.
But like, pay attention to all of that stuff. Yeah,
but it's a fun time. It was really neat. I
enjoyed it.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Yeah. So the cheapest price was Triple A and you get,
like Dickerman said, ten more dollars you got a second day.
And what's nice is you don't have to use them
consecutively or within two weeks. You have three hundred and
sixty five days from the day you use the first
pass to use the second pass.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Just don't lose it. Yes, I'm talking to myself right now.

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Because they will not reprint it or you're on your own.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, can I can we pull the money together? I
want to sign Dickerman up to do the micro gravity
training stage.

Speaker 5 (17:49):
It doesn't sound like something I do well at. Honestly,
I don't think it's very expensive. For those thirty dollars.
That one's thirty dollars, I'll pay for that.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
What is that?

Speaker 1 (17:57):
What is it? It's the micro gravity train stage. What
happens train for weightlessness and conduct your own spacewalk.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
I think I would vomit. I want to put him.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
I want to put him in the pilot's thing in
from space camp that like spins him around.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
I don't want to that.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
I don't want to be in that or whatever.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
And it doesn't just go like in circles. It goes
in all like all directions, all accesses like spin done
room would be covered and vomit.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
All different ways, just all over the place, and then
I'll buy you. Also the astronaut training experience.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
I don't think I want to do that either, Scott didn't.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
We all talk about going to space camp a few
months ago, did talk about that.

Speaker 4 (18:38):
We should still do that. We should still go to
space Camp.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
It's in Huntsville, Obama.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
Let's do it.

Speaker 5 (18:43):
And it's for adults.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
They have an adults.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yes, it's not that expensive either.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
I'm in for it.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
It had it was like legit camping. Wait what, Yeah,
I think we should do this.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
You don't want to camp.

Speaker 5 (18:56):
I don't want to be out in the woods. I
want to be in touristic stuff. You gotta camp in space.
It's a space tent unless space the moon, get your
space tent. All right.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
So it was a good time though. It was a great,
great way to celebrate your birthday.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
Excellent choice. I liked it.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Should we get into this this situation? What you like
with Josh Dumel being president of out of Transformers Mode
Joshumel president of Disney. I like it. He's got Fergie
there as the queen.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I've been married in like ten years, all right, my
first Yeah, your water business. Destroy and get rid of
the stupid reservation system. Okay, throw it right in the trash,
put it in the shredder, get rid of it. It's pointless.
It's the dumbest thing in the history of time. Okay.

Speaker 5 (19:47):
I would ask him to get rid of the Fast
and Furious ride. It's not him, even though it's not.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
He's just gonna go and tear it down himself.

Speaker 5 (19:57):
Like even though, like if they hadn't already announced that
they were getting rid of it, I'd be like, you
need to get rid of that ride. And his reaction
you'd be like, that's not my park, and I'm like,
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
You're in charge.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
Yeah, you're you're boring me with the details.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, make it happen. Palm all right, Scott, what do
you got?

Speaker 4 (20:13):
What's what's your first or get rid of that, bring
it back and eliminate lightning lane.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
Just streamlined and just streamline the process.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
Is it still free.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
If you're not going to do it for I mean,
ideally I would love for it to be free.

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Yeah, that's the way it used to be, the good
old days.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
But if you did kind of like what Universal has,
I'd be Okay, with that.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
It's so expensive at universal though it is.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
But it makes it kind of an It makes it
more of an express.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
I mean it does. It's just so sometimes now you'll.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
Look at Lightning Lane and it as long as the
regular lane.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
But yeah, like fast past, like somehow fast pass worked,
Like let's just be real, fast pass worked. I don't
know why. I don't know how. I don't know what
was magic about it, but it was it worked, and
it was like, you know, a nice bonus for people.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Going to the marks.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, next order of business, I would like to reduce
those annual pass prices. I understand inflation prices have to
go up, but we are like almost quadruple when I
first started going.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
It is kind of crazy because Michael Eisner gave an
interview and he was just like, I just can't believe
how expensive it is to go there. And it's like,
you know, Jimmy and I've talked about this because we
have both recently gone to Tokyo Disney, and it is
just so like night and day difference. And I understand
it is a different country inflation and whatnots, but it's
like there's always this meme of like it is cheaper

(21:36):
to fly to Japan and go to Tokyo Disney than
it is to like go.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Here, Yes, yeah, for sure. Yeah, to go here and
stay at a hotel on property and go to the parks,
it is probably significantly cheaper to go to Japan and
just experience it there.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
So let me ask you guys a question though, because
part of the problem is there's just too many people
that want to go.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Yes, that's the problem.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
True, that is true, And that's the tax, Like they
raise the price so less people can go. I don't
know how everybody affords it at this point. Mm hm.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Well it's because like families are saving up, they're like more.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
Well that's great for those guys, But I'm talking about me,
Florida resident. I want to be able to go at
a reasonable price and you know, have the real advantage
of being here at the home of the park, you know,
so I can go and bend.

Speaker 5 (22:19):
Yeah, but I don't.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
It's just like annual passholders. I feel like they're they're like,
it's kind of a catch twenty two for the parks.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Yea, because in a way they don't like annual passolders
because you're not spending as much money.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Yeah, you're you're top, but it's still bodies in the park,
and it's people buying food and spending money on her.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
You are taking space up that could be filled by.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
True but you're guaranteed, you know, filler of that space,
so they get the money. It's just the way the
prices have increased, doesn't you know, go with the rest
of the world. Like my my salary has not increased fourfold,
but the prices to go to Disney have increased fourfold.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
Yeah, and it's almost like you could expect it now
twice a year. Yeah, that the prices are gonna go.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Yeah, they don't even play anymore though, Like hey, now
that it's it's like the way I heeartfires people. Disney
racis prices twice a year, let's go.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
I mean really, the thing that I my my true
wishless thing is bring back the dream Finder, bring back
the original figment ride. Oh, that's what a lot of
people want. That a lot of people would like their
And I mean, bring back mister Toad.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
You're getting rid of with Winnie the Pooh. Can we
keep Pooh? I have?

Speaker 1 (23:26):
What is what has been my biggest stance about anything.
At Walt Disney World, you have enough land. You should
never be getting rid of rise. Yeah you're right, Yeah,
just keep keep what you have.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
So yeah, but that's not that's not how Walt worked.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Okay, then explain how it At disney Land. They have
both a Winnie the Pooh ride in mister Toad's and
everyone says that park is small. He's not wrong, he's
not wrong.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
Well, if you have wishless things, maybe you can stop
by our social media pomp by pop by your thoughts,
share them with us. Things you would like mister Joshua
to do with the Disney parks tomorrow, Yes, chuck out.

Speaker 5 (24:03):
The other thing I want him to do is bring
back back to the future.
