Speaker 1 (00:02):
From the theme park capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
This is the Theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast?

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Is this a radio?

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Anyway?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Hey there, and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman here,
there is Jimmy D. Good evening, gentlemen, and Scott Harris.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Shall we play a game? No, we shouldn't play a game.
I don't think.

Speaker 5 (00:33):
No, it's not spooky season.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I mean it is. I mean it's it's it's what
do you mean, there's a new scream movie coming out
this weekend.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
There is a new scream movie come out, So that
is a He does make a valid point there. I
think it does. Just like continue twenty four to seven
now year round.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
And I mean, you just saw what some consider a
horror movie. Uh yeah, I just saw Get Help, which
was Send Help. Oh sent Help. I'm sorry, sent Help,
My bad. It was it was. It was a fun movie.
And also before screen seven, you can get a trailer
for Scary Movie six.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
I like that they're working together. Now that's fair.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Did you see all the popcorn buckets and stuff they have, Yes,
what do they have a ghost face? I imagine, well, yeah,
lots of ghost face stuff. But they have a cup
that like there's a three D ghost face that like
kind of comes off of it. And then I think
there was a popcorn bucket with like a blood effect
that's like inside the I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
This is a way for movie theaters, you know, this
is a little researchers for them, almost like when Violin
became hot again, like record stores were able to survive.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
This is kind of like something that probably helps movie
theaters greatly.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I just read an article about how my generation in
the generation below me is really buying up physical media.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
They're smart, because yeah, I get rid of all my
physical media. Then I realized, ah, man, we don't actually
own anything anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Just before we were sort of recording of like oh
you should check this movie. I like not streaming. Yeah,
that's not streaming.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
All those things, like I had all those discs. I'm like,
I don't need this is just taking up space in
my house.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Ye.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Do you want to like theme parks though? Yeah, we
should talk theme parks. We should talk teen parks.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
I did, I did. I will say this. At one
point I did hear Tom and Dan say.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
If you had DVDs in your house, you look like
a hillbilly or a poor person. I think they I
think they take those words back now, though they absolutely do.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
And here's the thing. I consider it my four k's
and my Blue Rays. They're not my DVDs.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yes, yes, Well, when you lose the Internet during a hurricane,
that physical media is going to be lovely.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
You have so many CDs I had after working in
radio for axillion years, a lot, a lot. I just
took them to good will.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I remember in very quickly. I remember when the hurricanes
hit in four I didn't lose power, but I lost cable,
so I, oh, my only options were what I had
saved on my DVR.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Okay, yeah, good thing you had one back then.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
And physical media.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
And it got to the point where I was real
because we didn't have cable for like three weeks. So
I was watching It's the First World, probably because I
knew so many people that you.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Didn't have power eleven days.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Yeah. I remember just at the point watching things I
had recorded in not fast forwarding the commercials.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
I'm just gonna watch it. Bob Dance Dodge, Okay, I'm in.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Because it's just like I don't have it, like I
need something.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Yeah, back then it was uh halla like the remember
oh yeah, I remember, yeah, Hala Honda. Yes, I think
Bob Dance Dodge actually went out sometime in the eighties.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
I don't even know.

Speaker 5 (03:26):
I don't know. I don't know what Bob Dance Dodge existed.
Probably around the time of Danny trainor doing the Weather.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
All right, so theme park stuff. Butter beer season kicks
off this weekend.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Okay, tell me about butter beer season, because I do
love me some butter beer. I still say frozen butter
beer is the ultimate butter beer. But I'm willing to
listen to options.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I mean, you're wrong, it's it's not it's it's it's
hot butter beers.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
That's madness.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
But we're getting some exclusive treats. Okay, all right, butter
beer waffle.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Yes, wait, wait, what what exactly is beer? Is it?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Give it to me?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Is it the syrup that's on top of No, it's
the waffle.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
The waffle is flavored of butter beer, and is it
coated in like a syrup?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Like?

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Is it a butter beer syrup?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
As well?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Inconclusive Okay, well we're gonna have to get it to
find out.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
They need to top it with that uh that phone
the phone man. Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Butter beer cupcake.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
Yes absolutely, I mean yeah, I mean if they do.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
It right, yes, But I mean I'm not like, I'm
not driving a Universal.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
I'm trying anything to have a cupcake. Everything.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
That's butter beer butter beer cookie sandwich.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Yeah, yeah, that's worth the drive. It's worth of driving
paying twenty bucks a park. What's the filling in the
cooking sandwich? Is it ice cream? Or is it just
like a cream?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I'm reading it.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
I'm going to say it's butterbeer ice cream.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
I mean that theoretically that's what I would want, but
I do I have seen recently that like they're making
oversized cookies and they're putting like, you know, just icing
in the middle. So that's what I want to know.
Or ice cream.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Here's the thing. You could just get two of those
and then go to the ice cream shop and get
some butter beer ice cream and make your own.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
And just drop it right in the middle. Yep, And
you're cann drop a few bucks on that. But you know,
butter beer candy, apple I don't love a candy apple.
Try it's a hot take because I feel like it
rips your teeth out. And then there's the I like,
I like an apple on the stone, but I don't
like an apple covered in candy. It weirds me out.
I don't like getting that juiciness with the candy.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
You don't like the caramel apple, which, well, yes, we'll
pull the crown out of your.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Uh you of your money that me and Scott both
I just got one.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
So yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
And lastly, butter beer short bread bar.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
That would be good. That'd be excellent for sure.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, that sounds awesome.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
I mean those are all great options. I mean when
Universal like however, they like butterbeer was the thing in
Harry Potter World, right, but when they brought it to life,
there has never been a bigger home run in theme
park food anywhere. I mean, I think like Disney tried
it with the Blue Milk and it was a swinging
a miss in it.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
But they tried.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
I will give them credit. They tried.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
They tried, but like Universal just crushed it so hard
with butter beer, everything that comes after it will be compared.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Well, it's also tough for what Disney was trying to
do because you're trying to take a milk product, which
you we all know how milk ages. So you had
to change it from something that you know to something
like that's not going to get spilled everywhere and make
the place smell horrendous.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah, yeah, I understand. Yeah, I mean the blue milk look,
but the flavor. The flavor wasn't good either, you know.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Because you've said that when you got it at Star
Wars celebration.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
That celebration. I got it at Star Wars weekend, That's
what I meant. And in that backlot restaurant and they
had like they had like a special little patio area
for a while that was right next to the Jedi Academy.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
That remember that.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah, it was supposed to be like you know, it
had like an endoor like feel to it, and they
had blue milk on the menu, and it was actual milk.
I don't know what the blue part like what you know,
other food.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Colored what made it?

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Yeah, because I mean it was sweet, but I mean
blue dye number nine. Yeah, I mean, honestly, it.

Speaker 5 (07:07):
Could have been just food coloring, you know, some Italian
sweet cream from uh yeah, yeah, but the coffee bar.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
But butter beer was such a home run. I think everybody,
every other theme park beverage will be following it and
chasing it, trying to find something that comes close.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Do you remember, like not long after Harry potter Land
opened up, they opened a new fantasy land at Disney
World at Magic Kingdom and the Gaston Gaston had their
own drink.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I did get that, and it was a pale comparison
to It's fine. It was fus it's good and it's fine,
but it's not butter beer. It's yeah, it's no, it's not.
I did get that Gaston. I remember that.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, it's like La Foo's brew. I think that's what
it's called.

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Yes, and it even had like a little souvenir copy
you can get very you know, reminiscent, and but again
not as good. But still it was good.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
But I have to say, somebody, somebody on Twitter said,
in response to this, it's ten years from now when
Universal debuts the new butter beer pizza with butterbeer drizzled
chicken strips.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
That's where we're going. I mean, that's where we're going.
I'll try it, Okay, that's favor somebody who who uses
a green product and that gives you a hunger.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
No, that is a person that breaks a lot of
theme park news.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Okay, I mean I'll try it. I'll go with them.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
You would try You would if it said butter beer anything.
If it said butter beer sushi, you would try it.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
I wouldn't do sushi, and I wouldn't do onions. Butter No,
butter beer onions.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
But you there's very few things that you would not
try that.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Butter beer cyanide caps.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
I mean, if you're gonna go out, go out on top, buddy.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
But also butterbeer season will mark the debut of butter
beer flavored truffles in macaroons, which we offered year round
at the Epic Universe.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
Let's say truffle truffles a chocolate okay, all right, Yeah,
fancy chocolate like you get in a box of chocolate, like.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
When you get a truffle pig to find them.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yeah, truffle fries. Truffle fries have mushrooms.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Yeah, I don't like those. I found out that it's beer.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
No, you you like them until you found out it
was mushroom.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
No, I didn't.

Speaker 4 (09:16):
I was like I thought I liked truffle fries and
then I ate them, and I'm like, I don't like these.
Why don't I like these? And I guess that's why
they're mushrooms. There's truffle popcorn that I had too. I
did not like that either, actually spit it out.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, I don't like chilas.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Do you like a caesar salad? I do?

Speaker 3 (09:32):
And I know there's anchovies in a real caesar salad.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
No, there's anchovies in the dressing. Yeah, I know it's okay.
I like a caesar salad.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
And as long as I can't see them, anchovies are
good for you. And pretzels and pretzels.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Oh but you pretzel. Yes, you didn't even didn't even
take a second dip that.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Thing in the butter beer.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
I'm thinking, like, remember you used to bring like the
instant insulin need bag.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Oh, the frosted animal cookies.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yes that, thank gosh. Oh yeah for frosted animal butter
beer cookies.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Thought, yeah, that was diabetes in the bag.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
It was. It was actually I came with insulin needles.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
I would I would, I would have that. So yeah,
butterbeer season kicks off this weekend.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
I love butter beer season. That's a good season.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
By the way, you know what else kicks off this weekend?
What marathon weekend? To be on the alert for the
traffic cones.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yes, So if you're going to Disney this weekend, I'm
actually out there. I've been out there this week because
of the Princess five k, A and half marathon, and
I'm not running any of those.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
What are you dressing up about?

Speaker 4 (10:35):
I'm not doing any of that. I am just there
to help participants. But I will say, yeah, marathon, are
you going.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
To wear your sun dress? No, you're going to be
so pretty?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah? What a character though?

Speaker 3 (10:46):
None, I'm not a character, Russell. I'm character. I am
a character.

Speaker 4 (10:51):
But yes, if you just don't go to Disney this weekend,
let's just do yourself a favorite.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Do you just go later on in the day.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Yeah, yeah, when you go during the day, That's true.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
They do have the cones up by that And you
see all the marathon people like running around the park
with their metals. They got their metals, and they're just
car bloating. They're just eating all everything is reloading their bodies.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I know somebody that's running the ten k in the half.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, I met a few people like that today. I
was like, you crazy, you're insane. A ten k and
a half, no, thank you?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Should do it.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
They have the Dope Challenge where you do them all.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
That's oh yeah, yeah, that's true. They do have that.
No thank you Next year?

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Which one are we doing?

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Ten k?

Speaker 3 (11:28):
None?

Speaker 5 (11:28):
Springtime? Ten k?

Speaker 3 (11:30):
How about none?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
No, let's do let's do the day.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
If I didn't do it when it's an up theme,
I'm not doing it.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
We should do We should do the ten k.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
If I didn't dress up like Doug and run on
all fours, I'm not doing it.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
We should do the ten k. You can be Doug.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
Can I run on all fours if.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
You want to? Just don't get passed by. Just don't
get passed by the balloons?

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Wo be the do a bear crawl the whole way.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You can be Doug James. You already have costume up related.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
Yes, but I want to be Alpha now okay?

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Then you can you.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Wear the cone? You wear the cone? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Okay, ill be Kevin? Sure be Kevin? Okay, why not done?

Speaker 5 (12:15):
I want you to be a Kevin Russell hybrid where
you're like year half your face is painted Russell.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Like I'm Tommy Lee Jones and Batman Forever.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yes, it's an odd choice, but yes, Princess is this weekend.
It is a absolutely completely sold out bananas race. So
don't go in the morning to Disney. Just do yourself
a favorite.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
And also we will get that this is our I
feel like we do this PSA twice a year when
these happen. Don't run over any cones.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Oh yeah, don't run over the cones. It's not good.
And Bob's barricades, right, do.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Not run over any of them. James has talked about
what happens if you run over a traffic cone.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Do not do it.

Speaker 5 (12:52):
Yeah, well, to be fair, that was on I four
and you're doing about forty five it fifty.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Just don't do it at any speed.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Don't do it this time year when's barricades.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
Bob's just sitting there counting money, like in a hot tub,
just with jewels around and every finger.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
Yes yeah him, he's swimming in uh Scrooge McDuck's.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Money bench the backstroke.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Yeah, good for good for you, Bob. Yeah yeah. So yeah,
races this weekend and be mindful of that.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
And if you see any runners, give them a congrats.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Yeah, give them my carats. They they did it. They
made it, went out there and ran their hearts out.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
You buying a pass this weekend?

Speaker 3 (13:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Maybe maybe not do it, do it? I might do it.
I really do need a new pass. I don't have
any passes.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Right, and then on your way back home, stop over
at at a Universal.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
I'm not getting a past for two parks. I'm poor.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
It's butter beer season. Butter season.

Speaker 5 (13:46):
Yeah, but you know what they serve butter beer in
City Walk now they do.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Yes, we've talked about this.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Yeah. In that store, like when you first.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Forgot it, you can cut You can cut through that store.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Once you get past the movie theater on the right
hand side, there's like it looks like a Nintendo store.
Go in there the next stop and then cut through
and then there's going to be like a little section
that's like in the cut through your bar. Yeah, it's
a bar. It's not as themed out as like uh,
hogs Head, Yeah, like Hogshead or if you were in
diagon All. Yes, thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
I just got to seek and I think on the
suit it says no butter beer allowed. Oh, if I cannot,
if I have one butter beer, it will no longer face.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
No. I have been told that, like because of how
much walking you do from the parking garage to get
the butter beer cancers out.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
That's not true.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
I mean it is.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
That's you'll burn it fifty calories and drink three thousand.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
It's science.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
That's science. That's science.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
That's fifty calories while you intake three thousands.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Do you want some other theme park stuff?

Speaker 5 (14:43):
Yes? I don't. How much butter beer you drinking? Like
the keg?

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yes? He's Wait. You guys were with me that time
when I drank like six of them?

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Right?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (14:51):
I egged you on.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
That was not a good idea.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Did your vision get blurry from the sugar spike?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
A lot of things happened. A lot of things happened.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Another p s A for this weekend, final weekend of
Rock and Roller Coaster.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
Oh so, not only will it be a wild scene
with the marathon runners, everybody and their brother, mother, sister,
father is going to be trying to ride Rock and
Roller Coaster.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yep, March second is the closing date. Wow, so we
just did no final day of experience at March first
when they did Dinosaur, it was crazy. Dinosaur's not beloved
like rock and roller coasters. No, but the thing is,
The thing is, nothing makes a ride beloved like it closing.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Right, So like think about this. So rock and roller
Coaster was so beloved, it's going to be even crazier.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
But the thing is, and I kind of said this
when when Dinosaur went away, it's like the ride itself
isn't going away, right, it's just the theming.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Right, they're going to rethme it. The ride will stay.
They're not gonna the Muppet.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
When Muppet Vision went away, that is a thing going away.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Right, And the new theme for rock and roller coasters
is muss puppets. Yes, are we going to drive like animals?

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Drum?

Speaker 5 (15:57):
Well? Did you see that the Muppetvision three D is
available on.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Apple Vision Pro, which is disappointed, Like, it's cool that
it's going to be somewhere, but I was hoping that
it would at least go to like a Disney Plus
so everyone could watch it.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
What is Apple Vision?

Speaker 2 (16:13):
That's their thing there?

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Yeah, let's just pick one. Can we just choose one
VR company? Like one?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Everyone's got to do their chance.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
A man who's going to win. Is it going to
be the oculist thing?

Speaker 4 (16:25):
Because uh, I think the HS Beta HD DVD. I
really want to play it on my PlayStation because Resident
Before is in VR.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
But it's very expensive.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Oh you should get one.

Speaker 5 (16:37):
It's very exciting.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
That's okay. How about this? How about this this weekend,
get a Disney Pass on your way home, pop over
to Universal, get a Universal Pass, enjoy all of the
butter beer items.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Okay, we're at I don't know, like twenty six hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Sure, and then and then pop over to a best
buy by an Oculus.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
But I want to play my PlayStation. I want to
play one. Can I rent it? Is Blockbuster around? Can
I rent a PlayStation VR?

Speaker 5 (17:04):
You know I once rented a game Boy Color so
I could play it the pod Racer game on game Boy.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
No, the one that wins is the Virtual Boy. You
remember that.

Speaker 5 (17:16):
I do remember. I've actually played a Virtual Boy.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Those are graphics that will give you a headache.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
I went in this year. My daughter wanted to buy
our boyfriend like the old game Boy, because there was
a certain game he wanted to play.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
I think it's a piece of crap. It really, you
can't even see it doesn't even have backlighting.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
You have to like it. It does not.

Speaker 5 (17:35):
You have to hold it.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Under a light to try and see what's going on
in that Idiots, What were we thinking back in the day.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
The best one, in my opinion, is the game Boy Advance.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
What were we thinking in like nineteen eighty seven.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
I know this was the Game Boy Advace and think
but Game Boy Advance had two versions and had a
backlit version of non battlet h the back lip version
is much better, and we got the non backlit version.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Or you get a three you get a three D
and it was still like eighty five bucks. Yeah, because
now they're click.

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Yeah, well the backlet ones. What people are doing is
if you take if you get a backlet one, you
could take the screen out and put it in a Classic.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Oh boy, yeah, I heard you can get You can
even just buy a backlet for the Classic and put
it in there too. You can buy like the backlight.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
It's a lot of work. Yeah, that's what I think,
cause I've taken the part an entire game Boy because
mine did not work at all. It was having that
step problem where it would get the lines on it.
And what the problem is is the way they attached
the ribbon to the motherboard was with glue. It sounds
about right. So like after twenty years, like it's even
back then. It it's starting to come back. So what

(18:36):
you have to do is you have to take it apart,
get to that ribbon, and then take a soldering iron,
now no solder, just the soldering iron itself, and you
run it across to readhere that glue and my game
boy was like brand new after I did that, But
it was quite the journey to get through.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
Its Yeah, elsewhere Millennium Falcon going to be getting a
new name.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
How wid Smugglers.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Smuggler's run a new mission.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Oh okay, so we're getting a new mission though, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
We're getting one from Mandalorian and gurgoul.

Speaker 4 (19:07):
I saw the trailer for that one. I went to
see the movie the other night. I gotta tell you
the movie or the ride the movie. I'm kind of
excited for the movie.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
I am too.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I the trailer got me. I'm like, okay, all right,
you got me, you got me.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
I just need some joy. Yeah, you got me, and
that'll be a joyous two and a half hours.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Whatscot you gonna come with us. We're gonna do this.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Man.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
To me, it looks like a TV show.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Is a TV show?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
That's the thing. It's a TV show, and it looks
like a TV show.

Speaker 5 (19:35):
We're gonna get zip.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
I'm tired. Stop it. Stop playing with the same toys.
What And also, it looks like there's like one human
character in the entire movies. It's Sigourney Weaver.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
Hey, I like Sigourney Weaver. She's cool and I don't
like humans, So I'm okay with this. He's dealt with
aliens before. She's good.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
She's got this thing.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Okay. Elsewhere, we potentially got some news about villains at
Magic Kingdom.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Okay, this is the thing we talked about the early week,
like the new guy, the.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
New Josh Tomorrow taking over from Bobby. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:09):
Yeah, Fergie's husband, what's his deal?

Speaker 5 (20:12):
This?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Is this him or is this something else?

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Well, he was there's a story that he was kind
of told that he told imagineers, think.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
Bigger, Yes, think bigger.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
So from the rap earlier today comes some ideas. So
here's a rundown and Emperor's New Groove roller coaster, and
you want to see in the movie there's a roller
coaster in the movie, but it looks like it's family friendly.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Yeah, I mean that's a that's a that's a deep
reach back. Emperor's New Groove.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
No, and I love that movie, which is cool in all,
but it's like that Park already has a bunch of
family friendly like roller coasters.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
They are pretty tied with Patrick Warburton, so to have
him do.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Something and he's part of that scene, like him Maleficent
boat ride, which is supposed to be this is the
big one, Yeah, I bet you it would be. That
would be Yeah, and as somebody that has done the
Tangled boat ride in Japan, if it's something like that,
just darker, just darker, amazing. Yeah, I bet that technology

(21:11):
would be amazing.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
I'm for it. I'm here for it.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Hades Dinner Show.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
You know, last another reach back too, Like that's I mean,
we're going back several decades.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Yeah, But Hades isn't that He was kind of like
the host of Not So Scary for so long, so
he's not He's like a.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Party from my generation. Take aside, how people feel about
the person that portrays Hades who played him, James Woods.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Oh, James Wood's okay, and has.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Played him in every iteration that has ever been done
of that character. So like my generation, we love that movie. Okay,
Zero to Hero, it's a great movie, okay, right, but
it would be a price fixed, full service establishment.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Yes, I just like like a lot of their dinner shows.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Yeah, I just don't believe we'd get it though, because
I feel like when they start making cuts, the first
thing they cut is always the dinner show.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Well that's the thing that was always talked about for
a dinner show, was talked about for Galax's.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
Edge exactly, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
And then it got moved to Starker's or hotel.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Uh huh, and then we just don't have it anymore.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
And then lastly, uh, it's potentially a Dumbo esque spinning ride, but.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
It wouldn't be dumb. But what what villain would it
be left to? Uh to make a choice? Like who?

Speaker 5 (22:28):
Who?

Speaker 2 (22:28):
Who?

Speaker 3 (22:29):
What villain stands out in your mind?

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Like, oh, hang on the old.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Broad from snow White with the poison apple, the evil queen,
Sure that's her, that's the one.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
I mean maybe, but she's already in in a ride.
I was going to go with its Charles Months themed.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
I'm one hundred for that. Absolutely. Oh, they could do
the biplanes. If they want to do a bum Dumbo
type of thing, it could be the biplanes, find the biplanes.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
And then you guys could finally stop complaining.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
I could.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
But Doug better be in it. Well, it's villains, so
I know, but Doug has to be in it as well,
like you have to. He's got a villain, but he
can be part of the ride.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
No, they do need some kind of up attraction. I
just can't believe that none of the Disney properties have
anything up in there.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
I don't know. I just rewatched Wally and I'm in
the same boat with you guys, Like Wally has a playground.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
That makes me surprise that like these these huge movies
like up in Wally and they instead would go to
like Emperor's New Groove or you know, hate Hercules Mercules. Yeah,
going back that deep I don't know, man, it seems
like a deep cup for me.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I don't do they do a.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
Lot well, I guess they do some Toy Story stuff.
I was like, they don't do a ton of Pixar stuff.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
I mean Toy Story has got a land and then
a ride.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
Yeah, yeah, but I mean, besides that, then the roller
coaster too. They got Toy Story has got multiple rides.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Toy Story has got like the Land at Hollywood series,
and then it's got the buzz Late Your Ride. It's
under construction now for the remodel.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
Yeah, and the and the roller coaster too, right, the
one that in the land Yeah, Slinky Dog, Yeah, sliky
Dog yeah yeah yeah. So we just we get when
we've got cars coming, so yeah, yeah, let's give some

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
