Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park Capital of the World, Orlando, Florida.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
This is the Theme Park Podcast. Wait podcast? Is this
a radio? Why does everything gotta be so messy on
this station?
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Anyway?
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy d and Scott Harris.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Hey, there, it is the Theme Park Podcast Stickerman. Here
there's Jimmy D. Good evening, gentlemen, and Scott Harris.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
As a reminder, Brendan Fraser is not in Lee Cronin's
The Mummy, which opens in theaters this weekend. Brendan Fraser
is not in this one.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
I don't want to see that one. I don't like that.
I don't like the look of that one. That guy
in his movies, he like he's got like a skin
peeling thing, and that makes me uncomfortable.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
I'll be ready for Brendan Fraser's Mummy. This one, I
don't like it.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
Well, did you see the talk of the next Evil
Dead movie?
Speaker 1 (00:57):
He did that. He did it in Evil Dead. That's right, Yeah,
that's why didn't like Evil Dead so much. It takes
it too far.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Is this a Sam Raimi Evil Dead?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Well, no, no, no, no, it's it's in the world
it deals with dead heites. I can read you some
of this stuff that was in the footage shown at
at CinemaCon.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
No, I don't think that's a I don't think that's
appropriate for this show. We're a family show.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Okay, I'll just all tech family show. I'll text. I'll
text to you guys right now.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Then Brendan Fraser's Mummy because it has its own ride
at Universal Orlando. But Lee Cronin will not be getting
a ride at any theme park anytime soon.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
No, but you know what he could be getting what
house at Hornites.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
He could get a house that could very well happen.
I think it's you think it's a possibilities that he's
out there in the rumors.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I mean it's a Blumhouse movie. Blumhouse and Halloween Horridites
do things together as friends.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, they partner up a lot.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Although if I were Universal, I'd be kind of like, hey,
we're about to start making a new Mummy movie with
Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weiss together.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
This is the perfect time to do it, though, because
you're like in you know, you're in between Mummy movies,
so just you know, go first, go forth with it
with the Halloween Herr Knights because by the time, like
the branded Frasier one is gonna be a little more
family friendly. I don't know that's something you're going to
turn into a hunted house. But if this one is
(02:19):
like peel your skin off bad, yeah, I would see
it as a bloom.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Is that is that Slumhouse had anything really big in
the last you know year? I guess have they had
like like a horror movie that like, okay, this is
like no doubt would be a house or is this
probably the most likely one?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
I mean, well, they had five nights at Freddy's one
and two.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah that last year, which that was big. Yeah, no doubt,
no doubt about that.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
There's another Insidious movie.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Oh geez, more insidious movies.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
They all they they all make money. They had the
they had Black Phone two. They had Megan two point zero,
which was disappointing. People liked the movie Drop. They had
Speak Weevile before that night Swim. There's they have an
Exorcist movie coming out next year.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
They crank them out, But it sounds like Mummy might
be the most likely. Uh, if they're going to do
a Blumhouse house, that might be the one.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Well there's that.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
I see that. Sorry, there, you guys are naming off
these horror movies, and I was like, did you see
that news story where some guy rear ended a logging
truck and the poll.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Yes, final destination too.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Oh no, my family is terrified every time they see
a logging truck on the road due to Final Destination.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
I's never been a final destination house.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
How do you do it? It's kind of the Rube
Goldbergian nature of it that kind of sells it.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
I got it. We take over the Fast and Furious
ride and just play the scene with the logs on.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Everybody to see the logs coming out of the D
three D bring back three D with the logs.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
I mean, you had to remember it's that scene is
more than just that. There's like an oil tanker involved.
There's like seven different cars, a motorcycle.
Speaker 4 (04:00):
Yeah, but that logging truck is the lynch pin.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
It starts it off.
Speaker 4 (04:04):
Yeah, the whole domino effect.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
The only thing that movie did for me is it
makes me never drink a bottle of water. I put
the I put the empty bottle in the passenger seat
so it doesn't end up under my brake. Pedal.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
That's right. Oh my god, you can't stop your car.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Bec Yeah, you watch that movie and all new fears
get unlocked.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
No, for me, I had to go to the dentist
the next day after seeing that movie, trapped in the chair.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Yeah, I'll be right back, And.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah that was my fear because I wasn't driving yet
when I saw that movie.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Yes, all right, we should probably get into uh. I
mean this is it is the theme park because we
are talking Halloween or nights. But we do have quite
a bit of news to get to this week.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, they just announced this. Princess Leah and Han Solo
are going to be making appearances at Star Wars Galaxies Edge.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
So is it the young version of the old version.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
The version that you were used to seeing in the movies.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Good, that's good, guys. We've finally broken that wall where
they can't you know, intermingle open Galaxies Edge?
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Scott. Is this going to be in Orlando or is
it just California?
Speaker 3 (05:20):
This is going to be at Disneyland.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Damn, it's always Disneyland. What is the fascination with Disneyland?
Why can't we get these things in Orlando?
Speaker 4 (05:31):
I have theories.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
I have theories too. I have nothing to substantiate them, though,
so I'm not going to say them.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Okay, yeah right, Well, but like we're not a politics
show either. In reality?
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Oh no, I think it's just I think it's like
an equity thing. I think it's like the the Union stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
But I would say in like, in reality, disney World
makes probably a considerable out more than Disneyland. Would that
be correct? I mean, we have so much more opportunity
for money making here.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
I don't know there are I mean there are more hotels,
there's more land, there's more parks. So I could see
you making that argument.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
But one is the nostalgia. That's the first one.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
M I mean, what kind of taxes are they pay
in California? Because I know it's California. Taxes are just wild.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
I don't maybe their grandfathered in and some sort of deal.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
I don't know. I'll have to rewatch the Imagineering documentaries
to see if they talk about tax law.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
There's never heard of that.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
I wish Jimmy would see them. They're so good. They
were made literally for him.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Every now and then, every every month, I watch a
clockwork orange, and sometimes I think about just getting him that.
Speaker 4 (06:44):
Oh I see what you're talking about.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Oh yeah, bring the eyes open, just make it lunch.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
What the problem is is my Disney Plus excludes my
my my subscription excludes that show.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
We'll bring over our own devices.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
Yeah, no, yes, I don't want it. I don't want
you in any of your devices.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
I bet you he already watched it, Scott, and he
just won't tell us, just out of spite.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
I bet if we opened up his Disney Plus, it'll
it'll have the restart icon from the beginning again, or
continued watching.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
If I was a betting man, I bet you'd go
to it and see if the first episode had been
started about thirteen minutes and it stopped. Unbelievable that so
we don't is what I would bet my money.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
We don't get Princess Leah, and we don't get Han solo,
but maybe we'll get something else. Maybe, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
I mean, we're gonna get Vader.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
That's cool. I'm happy anytime we get Vader. Bring it.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Yeah, you're a fan of him.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
We hey man, we better get that Tiki mug. Otherwise
I'm gonna we're gonna ride.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Or else you're it's gonna be or else You're just
gonna get it. When do you go to Star Wars
celebration next year?
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Speaking of that, he just announced, uh, take it, and
he's gonna be in California. Yes, not Anaheim this time,
because it's always been at the Anaheim Convention Center, so
that you literally shared a parking lot with Disneyland. No,
they're going to do it at the Ala Convention Center
because it's a much bigger complex. Because this is fifty
years of Star Wars. It's going to be ginormous.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, there's the streets are saying we're going to get
the original versions in theaters, not the special editioned ones,
real the original Yep.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
When are they coming back to Orlando? Because that was
fun when we had it here?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, but fiftieth annivers where you got to go to
Hollywood for that?
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, you have to.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
I see it.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
I see it.
Speaker 3 (08:35):
Maybe that maybe because don't they usually do a broad
in the interim?
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Yeah, there used to be a very clear and defined pattern,
and COVID kind of like showered that. Yeah, yeah, so
they did it. Used to be like every two years,
and then it was like every you know, every two years,
it was going to be abroad, and then it like
they kept doing different combinations, but most recently it was uh,
(09:06):
it was California and they went to London the very
next year, and then two years later they went to Japan.
So and then here we are two more years later
or yeah, because Japan was a year ago and this
is uh coming up in a year, so two more
years and then we're back in LA. So my guess
is they're only going to do it every two years
somewhere on the planet. It's gonna be like the Olympics.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Okay, all right, well maybe we get on the planning committee.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Maybe you should just send an email.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah, I mean we could do that.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
You're the one requesting this.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
I know. Well, Jimmy would want it to Jimmy.
Speaker 3 (09:42):
Would like it, but he would go. He'd go no
matter where it is.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Yeah, yeah, And had LA not been the year before London,
I probably would have gone to that one too. But
it was just like we actually got on and try
to get tickets, and the deal was if we could
get VIP, we're going to We're going to London. If not,
we're gonna punt and try for Japan.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Like you do. Remember two thirds of the show is
willing to travel abroad.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
That's true. I am willing to travel abroad. The only
thing that stopped me is the price of airline to You.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Are supposed to be going to Japan in the next
six months.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
I know, I know I'm failing as a member of
this show by not going to Japan. But hey, I've
got six months.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
It could happen, and diggeran you there's nothing to be
afraid of either, because two of us have gone and
told you super duper safe.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
And and if you'll get lost, though you guys know
el get lost.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
And if you are afraid. I saw the trailer Godzilla's
coming in New York. He's not going to be in Japan.
You have nothing to worry about.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
That's much not true. He will be at that hotel
on Godzilla stream.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Yeah, his hotel will be there, but he will well not.
He's going to the Big Apple. He's going to go
see Lady Liberty.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Okay, good. I can't wait to see that.
Speaker 3 (11:07):
You won't because you have to read.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Ah, I hate subtitles.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Yet we learned that you do watch things the closed caption.
It's the same thing.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
I'm a slow learner, Scott.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
The day that movie comes out, I'm going with you.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
I'm dressing up not good as a building.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Weird. I like it all right?
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Should we should? We dive into the the is this
rumor or is this fact regarding the song lists for
the rock and Roller Coaster?
Speaker 3 (11:43):
You mean the song list that came out officially from
the Disney Parks account.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Okay, well maybe then then then it is fat.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
The graphic I shared with you is from the Disney problem.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
So the graphic that is on our social media accounts.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Look, guys, you know how I am. I don't know
how to log into social media anymore. I don't even
do it, all.
Speaker 4 (12:05):
Right, So we should run down these songs because they
got to release these on iTunes? Right and when do
they so?
Speaker 3 (12:14):
Well, it's not going to be until the ride opens.
And we should say that the ride has an official
opening date of May twenty sixth, Okay, correct, so it's
not far off Memorial Day weekend.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
And we start the list with Blur's hit song have
is Blur big in the US? Or is it just
like British thing?
Speaker 1 (12:37):
This song too is big?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
That song is big?
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Yeah, that song is huge. I remember it, Like every
movie that came out that summer had that song in
the trailer.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Weird, Wait the heck of it on the radio? We know.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
I'm looking at the graphic. Who is this Blur you're
talking about? I see song to the Electric Mayhem.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Yes, they're covering a Blur. Okay, just like Born to
Be Wild that's Steppenwolf and that would be the Electric
Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
And what's interesting? What's interesting with these with these songs?
And we were talking about the score got in the air,
they're all around two minutes long. Like Blur is famously
write it two minutes, song too, is write it two minutes?
Speaker 4 (13:21):
Yeah? Walking on Sunshine I just watched there's not the
official version, but Kelly Clarkson, I guess on her show
not too long ago, sang it. It was one minute
and fifty eight seconds. The song songs used to be shorter.
I think back in the old days they really did. Yeah,
you get a lot more spins per hour.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
That's how you got new rims on your on your Cadillac.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
And then what else we got? Love Rollercoaster? Is that
the is that the Red Hot Choke cover? Song or
did they covered it? They covered it, okay, Yeah, I'm
just wondering if that's the same one.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
It's originally bah.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
The Ohio Players, Okay, and I think when the Chili
Pepper did it was on like the Beavis and butt
Head soundtrack or something that is correct.
Speaker 4 (14:10):
Yeah, that's correct. And then uh, rock Rock Till You
Drop it's Electric Mayhem featuring def Leppard.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Okay, so that's a def Leppard song. I never liked
def Leopard. I like a guy that worked in rock
music and metal. I never cared for Deaf Leopard. They
never did it for me.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
I'm gonna talk to engineer Frank about this. He's not
gonna like you anymore.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
They just didn't work for me. I liked all the
other bands. Deaf Leppard. I was just like, eh, I
can't get into it. I don't know why. I mean,
the drummer one arm I know, how do you not
like just like root for that guy?
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Can I just get I say something?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Personally? I do, But I just didn't care for their music.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
I like the songs. I think they're great songs. It's
really cool that the Electric Mayhem is doing them. I'm
a little I'm the tiniest bit surprised that none of
the songs are recent. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah, like like they.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Are picking songs that are like I know, like people
are like, oh, like Aerosmith is like so dated and
da da da da dah. It's like some of these
songs that they have picked were like in Aerosmith's Heyday,
you know what I mean. Like I was a little
bit surprised there were and there's no pop at all.
And again, I know it's the Electric Mayhem is a
rock band, so it wouldn't really fit doing that. I'm
(15:27):
just a little bit surprised.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
You know, Disney thought this through and through and like
this was like very carefully crafted and whatever the reason is.
They had their reasons and this wasn't like a you know,
flip of the coin. They they definitely made choices purple
like that.
Speaker 4 (15:42):
Gee, I wonder how much money they spent on research
just to pick these? Was it five songs?
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
Well, and also it's like it's it's It's Born to
Be Wild with Camilla the Chicken, It's Love Roller Coaster
with Jennifer Hudson in Questlove. Then it's Rock Rock Till
You Drop with Death Luck Bird, Yeah, and then it's
Walking on Sunshine with Kelly Clarkson. Like, so they're like,
there's there's artists in with it as well. I mean yes,
(16:09):
I know the Electric Mayham are artists in their own regard.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yes, anybody with songs to it, just it's just the
Electric Mayhem amassing.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
So who who sings in the Electric Maham? Is it
doctor Teeth?
Speaker 3 (16:22):
Well, it's yes, it's doctor Teeth uh in the uh Uh?
I think Janis might sing as well.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
So people have written this thing already, do we know it?
Speaker 4 (16:34):
Well?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yes, if you are significant.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
If you've written rock and roller Coaster, you've written this already.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
I mean yes, I mean they've written the new version.
People have written the new version. So how much you
would think it's changed? Like just props, we just changed
out props and the thing you don't go through anymore.
You go through the maybe uh, animals drum, I don't know,
through the snare drum.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
I know the pre show has changed, yes, okay, hang on.
Doctor Teeth is the lead singer and guitarist, and Animal
is the drummer. Floyd is the bassist in backing vocals.
Janis is the guitarist. In backing vocals and Zuit does
the saxophone, Lips does the trumpet.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
Okay, I think Doctor Teth also does keys.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yes, and if you also saw this, there's gonna be
a lot of cameos in the ride.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Yeah, because it says rock and roller coaster featuring the Muppets. Yes,
you're gonna have everybody in there.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Well no, no, no, no, no no, I'm not talking about
Muppet cameos. Do you guys want to know some of
the other cameos but humans?
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yes, Jason Siegel.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Weird, Alfred Yankovic, He's coming to the arena soon.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Aquafina your favorite, Danny Trejo.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Machete. He doesn't seem Disney appropriate.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Well, he has his own taco brand. Man, you got
to keep up with what Danny Tree is up to.
Darren Chris, who was a Broadway actor and also like
he was on uh Glee, Travis Barker.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
He's definitely not Disney appropriate.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Why he's literally he's in a picture with animal.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Well, yes, I'm just saying Wayne Brady, he's Disney appropriate.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Event Nicole Brown, Neil Patrick Harris.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
Oh that's your guy, Jimmy Yes.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
And John Stamos No, Jason Siegel not in what they announced.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Wow, what does Stamos look like now? Is he still handsome?
Still a handsome devil at whatever age? Yes?
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Yeah, did you not see him at Candlelight Professional?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
I did not know. I did not see him. I've
not seen him since. I probably full house. But being
perfectly honest.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
I had the good fortune of being at the very
first show of Drawn Together, and he came out and
like MC the first part of it. Oh and yeah,
he was like, it's not fair. It's him and Rob
him and Robb Blow just there. They're beautiful men. They
they're eating children or something. I don't know how it's true.
(19:15):
I mean, whatever they say about Hollywood might be true.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
No, it's just if you eat right and take care
of your body like it happened. That's how.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yes, he's got the Rob Low and those those Atkins
commercials exactly.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
Yeah, they both had V one. That's what it is.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
They probably did get some V one. Yes, right into
right into the veins.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
If you're not familiar, that's a boy's reference and it
makes you immortal.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Are you're not watching The Boys?
Speaker 3 (19:43):
I try watched two episodes. I cannot get into that
show all right.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
Yeah, you you picked some odd episodes to jump in on.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Yes, one of the episodes I watched was the pilot.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Oh yeah, okay, that's that's an important spot you start.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
I watched the first episode and I'm like, oh, I'm
gonna give this that. I'm like, I finished, and I'm like,
this is not for me.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Well, over the seasons, it has not gotten better. So
I will tell you that it's it's a season one,
season two. It peaked, and it's I'm in it to
watch it, but it's not great.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
I've seen the reactions to this season and people are like,
this is not the show that I was a part of.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
I didn't sign up for this. I'm going to see
it through.
Speaker 4 (20:23):
Do you want some guys are correct, it's it's it
is beautiful. It has a perfect rotten Tomato score.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Okay, So do you want some other news?
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Please?
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Very quickly, Universal has expanded their Express Now to single
use for specific rides called Express Now.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
They make so much money on that thing. That thing
has got to be just a money monster. Yeah, and
it works. I mean I can't fault them for it.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
It works elsewhere. The Epic Universe Preview Center has close
oozed because.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
It's it's it's open. We don't need a preview anymore.
It's here, it is here, Go enjoy it. I have.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
I've enjoyed it four times.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Stardust Racers still closed.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
No, it opened back up like three weeks ago. Pay attention.
Speaker 4 (21:15):
We even we talked about it.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
I know, but it closes. It opens and closes all
the time.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
It's as of right now, it's back open. All right,
it's going.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
You know, as soon as I buy a ticket up.
We closed started as racers. That's what's gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
The previous centers, going back to what it used to
be the Universal Studios Legacy store.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
All right, I like it. That's cool.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
And speaking of Epic Universe, Universal has begun testing land
by land access, So what is that. Nobody really knows,
But they have those facial recognition kind of stand up
stand ups that they have at the turnstiles, and it's
(21:59):
got a lot of people wondering. First of all, I
don't like it for the fact that it ruins the
portal like photo op. You can't really get a clear
picture standing in front of them.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
It's a little too creepy. It's a little black mirror
for me.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Well, I mean, okay, if you go to the park,
if you go to any of the parks, now you
already deal with it.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
So yeah, and definitely if you ever, if you ever
travel internationally, it's all facial recognition.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
And your phone is facial recognition.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
So this is bad stuff.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
But also it's like and there's talk of like, oh,
maybe they're gonna make it to where like that's how
you get into the portals, and they might just make it.
Like Celestial Park is just kind of open to everyone,
Like you don't need a ticket to go in there,
but you need a ticket to go into the portals
to ride those rides. Wow, there's a lot of there's
a lot of questions in zero answers.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Oh my god, that's that's old school Disney World exactly.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Buy your tickets, that's right, Buy your tickets to ride
Space Mount. It's for tickets to ride Space Mount, but
only one of them in a ride Dumbo.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Well, but that's the thing. But the thing is, like
if I paid one hundred and sixty dollars for one ticket,
I don't want to have to pick it to Epicas.
I don't want to have to go through like just
people are just there like that kind of takes that.
It takes away the experience of people that are paying
to go to the park, you know what I mean.
And also they don't have the parking to handle something
(23:20):
like that.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
That's true. Yeah, parking is always a challenge, that is
That is for certain. Well, I mean it'll interally see
how they play it out. Again, like Disney Universal will
think this through very thoroughly before launching anything. They are
planners over there, for sure.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
They have a calendar.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Really, they really plan things out the next calendar, all right, Scott.
