then they made the ride.

Yeah, it was Eddie Murphy was in the first Haunted

didn't think it was too bad. I thought it was interesting.
I like the kindness of it. It's on some plus right,

I mean Taylor made for everything that interests Jimmy Deed.

Well, Disney World announced their like roadmap for twenty twenty six.

So what does that mean? It is like all the
things they're gonna do this year? Yes, No, the changing
traffic patterns, I mean, that's the probably you're doing. That's
probably in there. It's probably in that whole list. I
mean they do that a lot.

Buzz April eighth Buzz light Year Space Ranger spin opens up.

a Pixar ride, can we do something about the the cannon?

The thing is I got Toy Story Midway Mania for
the Nintendo Wii, and it was like good practice. Yeah,
I bet is it a similar motion that you have
to do? I don't. Uh, I don't believe it was.
But you you learn a lot of the bonus things.

Yeah. The only problem was is I bought it like
a decade after it came out, so it was actually
very expensive. By that ride by that game?

What's Nintendo games? Whirreed? Nintendo games is always so expensive.

Look, man, Nintendo is very very collectible, whereas unfortunately for
Xbox and PlayStation they seem to be so much more disposable.
Nobody's like, I don't know what it is like, nobody
really cares about Atari as much. You know, there's you know,
you have a few folks, but it's always Nintendo. Something
about that and Neies just really changed everything.

And I think I think if I broke out my
n sixty four right now, it's been sitting in my
three thousand degree to garage for about ten years, it
would still work.

Yes, yes it was. It's unbelievable. I look the exact

They went back to Tatooine years ago, just as I
was getting ready to do all the trading.

So so I've thought about this. If you are a
character in like an area that gets discontinued, they should
just like, all right, Jawas, you're on popcorn duty.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Now have them give out popcorn?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Like yeah, like they gotta They just get a new
job at the park and they employed. They just go
to a different department.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, I mean, we don't want laughs. Nobody like to
see a layoff, right, So, like it makes you sad.
You're supposed to be happy at Disney. So we don't
want to see Jawas getting laid off. We want to
see them, you know, reassigned and they keep their jobs
and their benefits and their pay the whole keep you happy.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yeah, Like like next thing, you know, you go ride
toy Story Midway Main and there's a Jawa that's helping
make sure you're securely in the car, and they're like, oh, Tevy.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I like this idea. I like this idea. Keep spirits up.
It makes the rides to the park more enjoyable. All
things good.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Here, you know, I would like to see, like, if
Disney's listening, I would love to see like character from
different lands in places they're not supposed to be, like
do like a topsy Turvy day or something.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Although that brings the third wall, like the Disney rules.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
That was literally a thing. That's the reason why the
tunnel system exists because Walt didn't want that.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
I think it would be fun for like a like,
I don't know, a Halloween night or something.

I remember when I worked at Islands of Adventure and
the two movies came out, The Cat in the Hat
movie and the Hulk movie came out, and because of that,
we were able to wear the uniforms of those two rides.
Speaker 2 (10:57):

And I have to say the wardrobe for the Cat
and the Hat ride was the most comfortable I've ever worn.
Because it's sweatpants and a baggy T shirt.

It does look comfortable, Yes, it does. I mean you're
gonna run around at a jamas exactly. Yeah. I mean, if
you got to work at an attraction, that's a good
one to choose.

Yeah. Elsewhere On May twenty six holiday weekend, clearly the
Bluie's Wild World at Conservation Station opens.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Is that going to be an animal Kingdom?

Okay, I mean lots of little kids stuff they're introducing here.
I mean Mickey Mouse Blue say something else for little

I mean, like the animation courtyard is kind of for everyone.

Yeah, it is, that's true. Everybody can get into that.

And also then on May twenty second, so a little
bit before that, we have the Mandalorining grogu on one
in Falcon Smuggler's Run.

May the fourth.

Because it's gonna be closer to when the movie opens.

Rock and roller Coasters starring the Muppets. I think they're
fast tracking this. It doesn't have a date, but it

month before they closed the ride.

Yeah, I mean basically they wanted to get Steven Tyler
out of there.

period of time with that ride being closed.

Yeah, I don't doubt. It's a great ride and it's
one of the top tier attractions to that park.

And it looks like early May the reopening of Big
Thunder Mountain.

Yes, and they just like were redoing track and stuff
on that right, correct. Oh, I heard something this week,
and maybe this is common knowledge, and you guys are
gonna yell at me when I tell you this, Okay,
So just be prepared. We talked week. There's a good
chance the yettie you talked to me, the Yetiet Animal Kingdom.

They're never going to fix him.

Well, from what I have heard, they can't, yes, because
he's like integral to the structure of the ride.

Well, the problem was he can't move because he broke
the structure of the ride because.

I got the inside scoop this week, and so it
was he damaged the structural integrity of the whole building
there because of his movements. And he's so big and heavy,
So they can never fix him because he'll just break

with like a nine vault and some wires.

that's everything for Disney for the year that we know
right now as of right now. Yes, and it really
it takes us. I mean it was a roadmap, but
it really only takes us through the summer. We have
the whole second half of the year to come, so
I mean there is there will certainly be more on
the horizon. Yeah, Lake, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey.

Already sold out, the already sold out Christ's Party sold
out to Oh that's.

Right, but those are coming up.

But Volcano Bay Nights stuff is coming back to Volcano
Bay this summer.

you're old enough to remember summer nights at Wet and
Wild and that was that was the thing.

It kicks off at seven o'clock. That's all I got.

Oh sounds excellent. Actually I got garlic palm with our
pizza to night and we were watching the fights and
it was so good. Wait, hold on a second. You
don't like garlic. I like garlic palm, don't. I don't
have a problem with garlic. I have no issues with garlic.
I don't like onions.

So what happened to thee? What happened to the grown
up over here?

Garlic bread, garlic sauce, garlic palm wings, delicious and garlic
palm with my Marco's pizza. The night was fantastic.

They give you an option to choose garlic parm as
a sauce.

Side elsewhere one of the other Universal Studios theme parks,
Epic Universe. That's a real park, Yes, that you two
still haven't been to.

No, wait, will it be ridiculous when Universal starts claiming
the hub from between the parking garages is a fifth park.

The underground tunnel, the underground the underground tunnel thing.

There has been zero anything about that.

Okay. I mean I'm gonna wait. You know I was
gonna buy a ticket, but now I'm gonna wait.

I'm gonna wait to go until they opened the ride.

to that ride, they should take their time and do
as much renovanding to it as they want, because it's
already got weird vibes coming off of it. I mean, fine,
tune every ride in the park, you know. And we
remember when they opened Galaxy's Edge, I mean, the Rise
of the Resistance was constantly broken. I think it's broken
right now. I to try to tune that thing up.

I told you guys, what happened the last time I
rode start as Racers, right what?

I it was when I went It was when I
went for my birthday and I did single Rider and
it was literally like I'm going through single rider and
was like all right, we one more one more like
like hurry like so like running through the single rider line.
I get on and you know, restraints down, thumbs up,
you know, utini from all of the team members. The

jahua was there like thumbs up.

And then all of the sudden, like two of the
shoulder restraints go up.

And then two people get off, and then boom boom
two more so an entire party gets off the ride.

things they're gonna do this year? Yes, No, the changing
traffic patterns, I mean, that's the probably you're doing. That's
probably in there. It's probably in that whole list. I
mean they do that a lot.

But you you learn a lot of the bonus things.

Yeah. The only problem was is I bought it like
a decade after it came out, so it was actually
very expensive. By that ride by that game?

What's Nintendo games? Whirreed? Nintendo games is always so expensive.

Look, man, Nintendo is very very collectible, whereas unfortunately for
Xbox and PlayStation they seem to be so much more disposable.
Nobody's like, I don't know what it is like, nobody
really cares about Atari as much. You know, there's you know,
you have a few folks, but it's always Nintendo. Something
about that and Neies just really changed everything.

And I think I think if I broke out my
n sixty four right now, it's been sitting in my
three thousand degree to garage for about ten years, it
would still work.

was getting ready to do all the trading.

So so I've thought about this. If you are a
character in like an area that gets discontinued, they should
just like, all right, Jawas, you're on popcorn duty.

Now have them give out popcorn?
Speaker 3 (09:33):
Like yeah, like they gotta They just get a new
job at the park and they employed. They just go
to a different department.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Yeah, I mean, we don't want laughs. Nobody like to
see a layoff, right, So, like it makes you sad.
You're supposed to be happy at Disney. So we don't
want to see Jawas getting laid off. We want to
see them, you know, reassigned and they keep their jobs
and their benefits and their pay the whole keep you happy.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yeah, Like like next thing, you know, you go ride
toy Story Midway Main and there's a Jawa that's helping
make sure you're securely in the car, and they're like, oh, Tevy.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
I like this idea. I like this idea. Keep spirits up.
It makes the rides to the park more enjoyable. All
things good.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Here, you know, I would like to see, like, if
Disney's listening, I would love to see like character from
different lands in places they're not supposed to be, like
do like a topsy Turvy day or something.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
Although that brings the third wall, like the Disney rules.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
That was literally a thing. That's the reason why the
tunnel system exists because Walt didn't want that.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
I think it would be fun for like a like,
I don't know, a Halloween night or something.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I remember when I worked at Islands of Adventure and
the two movies came out, The Cat in the Hat
movie and the Hulk movie came out, and because of that,
we were able to wear the uniforms of those two rides.
Speaker 2 (10:57):

And I have to say the wardrobe for the Cat
and the Hat ride was the most comfortable I've ever worn.
Because it's sweatpants and a baggy T shirt.

gonna run around at a jamas exactly. Yeah. I mean, if
you got to work at an attraction, that's a good
one to choose.

Yeah. Elsewhere On May twenty six holiday weekend, clearly the
Bluie's Wild World at Conservation Station opens.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Is that going to be an animal Kingdom?

Okay, I mean lots of little kids stuff they're introducing here.
I mean Mickey Mouse Blue say something else for little

in Falcon Smuggler's Run.

Because it's gonna be closer to when the movie opens.

Rock and roller Coasters starring the Muppets. I think they're
fast tracking this. It doesn't have a date, but it

month before they closed the ride.

Yeah, I mean basically they wanted to get Steven Tyler
out of there.

period of time with that ride being closed.

one of the top tier attractions to that park.

And it looks like early May the reopening of Big
Thunder Mountain.

Yes, and they just like were redoing track and stuff
on that right, correct. Oh, I heard something this week,
and maybe this is common knowledge, and you guys are
gonna yell at me when I tell you this, Okay,
So just be prepared. We talked week. There's a good
chance the yettie you talked to me, the Yetiet Animal Kingdom.

They're never going to fix him.

Well, from what I have heard, they can't, yes, because
he's like integral to the structure of the ride.

Well, the problem was he can't move because he broke
the structure of the ride because.

Well, yeah, he breaks the track. We see, we see it,
he breaks the track.

I got the inside scoop this week, and so it
was he damaged the structural integrity of the whole building
there because of his movements. And he's so big and heavy,
So they can never fix him because he'll just break
the place. Mmm.

with like a nine vault and some wires.

the horizon. Yeah, Lake, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey.

Oh sounds excellent. Actually I got garlic palm with our
pizza to night and we were watching the fights and
it was so good. Wait, hold on a second. You
don't like garlic. I like garlic palm, don't. I don't
have a problem with garlic. I have no issues with garlic.
I don't like onions.

So what happened to thee? What happened to the grown

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Garlic bread, garlic sauce, garlic palm wings, delicious and garlic
palm with my Marco's pizza. The night was fantastic.

They give you an option to choose garlic parm as
a sauce.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Side elsewhere one of the other Universal Studios theme parks,
Epic Universe. That's a real park, Yes, that you two
still haven't been to.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
No, wait, will it be ridiculous when Universal starts claiming
the hub from between the parking garages is a fifth park.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
The underground tunnel, the underground the underground tunnel thing.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Okay, by the way, by the way, we haven't updated that.
There has been zero anything about that.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
That's okay, that's okay, it's it's coming. They're working on it.
They're working on the logistics right now. No, they've don't
want to.

They've pushed back, like the public meetings about it.

and like, oops, never mind.

But start ust racers. The closure uh for refurbishment has
been pushed back again until April fifth How are we
just had this?

This ride was just built? How are we refurbishing it already? Look?

Man, these it takes time to dial rides in.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Okay. I mean I'm gonna wait. You know I was
gonna buy a ticket, but now I'm gonna wait.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
No, you weren't to go. You weren't you know.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I'm gonna wait to go until they opened the ride.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
I've been four times already.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Tickets and that's wait to try and see if anybody
has free tickets I can go enjoy.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
The Those don't exist for that park.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Somebody might have some somewhere, And honestly, when it comes
to that ride, they should take their time and do
as much renovanding to it as they want, because it's
already got weird vibes coming off of it. I mean, fine,
tune every ride in the park, you know. And we
remember when they opened Galaxy's Edge, I mean, the Rise
of the Resistance was constantly broken. I think it's broken
right now. I to try to tune that thing up.
Speaker 3 (20:22):
I told you guys, what happened the last time I
rode start as Racers, right what?
Speaker 2 (20:27):
So?
Speaker 3 (20:27):
I it was when I went It was when I
went for my birthday and I did single Rider and
it was literally like I'm going through single rider and
was like all right, we one more one more like
like hurry like so like running through the single rider line.
I get on and you know, restraints down, thumbs up,
you know, utini from all of the team members. The

jahua was there like thumbs up.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
Let's go, let's go.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
And then all of the sudden, like two of the
shoulder restraints go up.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Oh that's not good.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
And then two people get off, and then boom boom
two more so an entire party gets off the ride.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Okay, all right, they've changed their minds.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
In the person next to me, who I don't know,
another single rider person's like, can you see what's going on?
It's like I can see what you can see. We're
the last row in this train, like yeah, and they
just lowered the shoulder restraints and we just they did
the ride minus four people.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Okay. I will say I am a fan of a
mechanical backup on a ride. I don't like the ones
that just were relying simply on the mechanics of you know,
magnets or whatever it is. I like the one with
a physical buckle as a backup, just in case they
are getting less and less common nowadays. Yes, give me
(21:48):
a buckle.
Speaker 3 (21:51):

Kind of what kind of artifacts are we talking about here? Yeah?
