Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the theme park Capital.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Of the World, Orlando, Florida.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
This is the Theme Park Podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Wait podcast? Is this a radio?
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Why does everything gotta be so messy on this station?
Speaker 1 (00:14):
Anyway?
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Here's your hosts, Dickerman, Jimmy D and Scott Harris.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Hey there, and welcome to the Theme Park Podcast. Dickerman,
here there is Jimmy D.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
I'm gonna have to say the hazel nut kit cats
it might be my favorite so far.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
A gift from Japan from one Scott Harris over here.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
To my rank, I really liked this blue raspberry high chew.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
In the pre show, Scott brought we haven't been together
since Scott returned from Japan, so he brought all of
his his uh his winnings from Japan, winnings I mean
Stuffy bought.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
No. Well, the one thing I did.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
Win, Oh yeah, that's true, the.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
The plush Godzilla.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
I did win when you ziplined into Godzilla's mouth and
I ziplinded into Godzilla, which is something I desperately want.
I don't actually here's the thing. I've never been ziplining,
so I don't actually want the zipline until I do
that like that.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
That's my first and it was that was my f Yeah,
all right, So.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
How did you feel?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Like on the zipline, I kind of left my body.
I went into heights, do you I'm indifferent to them
a lot of times, but for this I had note
like I was going to do it no matter. Why
would I would do it too. I just do not
like heights very much. You're not it was two flights upstairs.
You weren't that high up? Okay, Yeah, it's not like
(01:30):
you're on this It's not like on top of Everest
and you're going down.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Did you guys ever go like the top of the
Sitter spol and just like look over the edge.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Dude. I was on top of the Umida Sky Building,
which is five hundred and forty one feet in the air.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
I was just trying to give a local reference.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Sorry, I like, like you're talking about heights, Like I
went to like one of the tallest buildings that they
have there.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
I mean, I look over the edge of the Ctitters.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Well, I'm like I have I just don't I like disassociate.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
I got that hold on to something exactly. Yeah, you
want to hold on to something here?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, But this was like it was like three flights
of it was it was you weren't that high up?
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yes? Yes, okay, well I'm yeah, hopefully someday.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
You it'll it's just a fourteen hour flight. You fly
into Tokyo, then you have to take a two and
a half hour bullet train to Osaka. Then after that
you will I mean I want to. I want to
ride the bullet train and then you take like an
forty five minute train and then like another forty five
(02:33):
minute bus and then you can zipline into Godzilla's mouth
and there's the thirty minute walk that I talked about.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
On the hill, and it's all navigating in a completely
foreign language.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yes, yeah, yeah, it's fun, it's good done. But it's
like very simple, very simple to do.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Did you use like lift or uber or go Go
Go go?
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Is what is like the the like uber over there? No?
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
And I really could have used it when I went
to Nisando, Mouri the Godzilla theme park, because I couldn't
figure out where the bus stop was. The problem was
I was out of range any kind of ride share service. Yeah,
so I had to figure it out.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, yeah, fair enough.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
No, I either walked, I either walked or subway everywhere nice.
How I got you twenty five thousand steps to day?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I can't imagine. I mean people do it, like you know,
we're a theme park show. People will do twenty five
thousand steps at a theme park because you're here, you're visiting,
You paid the money, You're gonna get your money's worth
out of this thing.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
I feel like Hornites. I did that many Yeah, like Horrnites, any.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Of those kind of end of vordyess. We're sitting on
like like a wall. I'm like, I'm done. I'm not
walking anymore.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's why I'm glad I had a hotel.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
You talking about this past year. Yeah, this past year.
You weren't even there that late, and you guys like
bug out at like ten o'clock. I don't know what
time we left, but I was done when I left.
Whenever it was, I was done. I was taking no
more steps. Dad said, here, take some money, go your go,
buy your fast night at Freddy's, Fast times at rich
Mount High whatever, cupcake, and I almost sit right here,
(04:07):
and you can come back five nights at Freddy's.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
It makes you realize, what, like why your parents did
that when you were a kid, Like just give you
the money like, I'm gonna sit here and rest you.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
I'm so done here. Just take my wallet. I don't care.
You're good, You're good. Well, Scott, you did go to
a theme party city. This is this is this is
I know concept. We really got to go to theme
party and for.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Me it's always so even more foreign concept.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
You're an annual passole er for Walt disney World, and
this is the first time you've been in in a minute.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
A long time. But we're about to say farewell, afon,
farewell to Dinosaur.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Oh that's right, Dinosaur is going away.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I wanted to go ride Dinosaur for it went away.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Didn't have a long line because, like people know, it's leaving.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
When I got into the parking lot, it was forty minutes.
By the time I got into the line, it was
fifteen minutes. But I think I waited roughly in between that.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Okay, all right, it's not bad all things considered, it
since it's going away.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
And you know what I realized after I did it,
I don't like that ride.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
It's not a great ride. I mean, it's it's fun,
it's nostalgic, but it's not it's a rough ride.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I'm convinced the lights weren't turned on during the ride.
It was like it was like pitch blouse the entire
And I don't know if it was always like that,
because I I don't know the last time I've been
to Animal Kingdom, Scott.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
The first time I went on that ride, I was like,
we have to go on again, that there's something wrong
with it. It was dark the whole time. No, that's all ride.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
And the funniest thing is, as you guys know, as
most people know, I'm doing a quest right now where
I'm watching all of the Disney animated movies that are
released theatrically. Yes, And I had, just like the night before,
watched Dinosaur, the movie that is kind of based they
based the ride on. It's the same dinosaur. It's an Iguanadon.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I'm gonna tell you right now, I did not know
that movie existed.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Also, not very good. So it's the movie that wasn't
very good that they based a ride on. That's all
so not very good. The thing is, I remember Dinosaur
being the first ride that I ever did an Animal
Kingdom when it first opened, yeah huh yeah, or when
I went after it had first opened.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
They don't always pick the best movies to base rides on.
So they did that one as like Song of the South,
Like it was controversial when they built Smash matt Why why.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Would you bother? That's the well, that's the thing. Everyone's like,
how did you not have a frozen ride? Because they
have to wait to see if it works. They don't
want a situation where they've picked wrong.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Yeah, yeah, that's true. That's true.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Like we don't have a Coco. We don't have an Coco.
We don't have it inconto.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
You know, the ride we need there isn't a conto experience.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
But it took a while for it to happen.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Where's my upride? Where is my upride? I want to
ride in the balloon. I want to ride in the
dog little biplane.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
You want to ride You want to ride on Kevin's back.
I want to be in the houses floating all the things,
all the things. You want to be chased by Doberman's.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, you just want to interact with Doug somehow? Yeah
that too?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Why was there? I also did the new Zoo gather show.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Oh this is a Zutopia show, which the news Dutopia
was like a smash.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
It right ice grossing animated movie year. I think it's
actually the highest grossing movie of the year. Wow, good
for them, actually behind NASA two each Chinese animated movie.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
I haven't seen it. I need to go see it.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
Might still be in theaters. Is But this is the
show that replaced the Bugs Life show. It's good to
be a Bug inside of the Tree of Life. Yes,
And I really like Zutopia. I really like the first one.
I still haven't seen the second one because it came
out while I was traveling. I was disappointed by this
really because I felt like it kind of skimped out
on a lot of the fun stuff that the Have
(07:39):
to Be a Bug had. Oh yeah, it had a
lot of the similar elements like getting sprayed with water
and smells and stuff under the seat, but I just
felt like there wasn't as much stuff in the theater
going on. Yeah, in that part, I found it a
little bit lacking.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
That's it's like modern times. You always see these like
comparisons to like back in the day, like McDonald's was
so much more fun. Now it's like a very corporate
looking building and like you like, we lose things, we
lose some of the fun things.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Like I remember there being animatronics that would pop out
of the ceiling.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Yeah, that's fun.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
And I think Hopper pops up like also.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
He used to come out of the ceiling.
Speaker 4 (08:17):
Yeah, and they stopped doing that a couple of years
ago because it was too intense for children.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Which makes sense, but it's like, you could figure out
a cuddlier animal in this Utopia world.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
To do it, you're gonna have the Fox or Judy
Hops Buddy Detective come out.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Or just one of the characters that aren't being portrayed
on screen. Yeah, like have the sloth pop up. Oh
he's great, Yeah, he's great.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
I love the sloth.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
But as I was leaving, it started raining, and it
was the day that it was super windy over the weekend,
so I was like, I just need to get out
of here. So I was literally there to do those
two things, and you did them because Avatar was super
long in Everest, it was like about to rain and like,
I'm not gonna wait.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
It's been years since I've been to Animal Kingdom out
because last few times I had gone, it was just like, oh,
he's so crowded and the lines were so long for everything.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah. They had just started the Festival of the Arts,
so I think that sucked up a lot of people.
But the thing is, like everyone's going now to go
do Dinosaur.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Yeah yeah, gotta get it in before it's gone. And
they're replacing it with I have forgotten already Dum Indiana Jones.
But the original idea where the car is going to
do the flip.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
If the car is not going to do the flip,
but it is going to be an original storyline that
we don't have already.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Okay, all right, well that's cool. Harrison Ford Indiana Jones.
I can only hope.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
I mean, I'm sure it'll be his likeness.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Yeah, yeah, okay, Well you know.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
My guess is they will maybe get Troy Baker, who
did the voice of India Indiana Jones in the new
game that came out like two years ago.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Okay, I didn't remember that game. It was the game.
Well was it well received?
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Very well received? Oh okay, I mean you could probably
ask Harrison Ford to do it.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
Yeah, I mean, how old is Harrison Ford. He's very old.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
He is mid seventies at this point.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
Well, he was over eighty.
Speaker 4 (10:00):
He was like thirty five when Star Wars and New
Hope came out.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
I thought he was like eighty something, all right, keep
the confirmation is eighty three. Yeah, eighty three man, yep,
that's kicking it.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
He'll fly you to Japan.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
I mean, I don't know that I want to fly
up an eight three old pilot. Just being honest, I'm
just being on. I don't know how Bruce Dickinson is
from Iron Maiden, but he's got his own plane too.
There you go.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
I mean, got you got two flight you got two pilots.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
That's a cool plane.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Or John Travolta, he lives.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
Here in town. Yeah, he's yeah, that's you know, we
get it hop in the Travolta plane. You know, I'm
gonna go with Travolta on that one. Hey. I mean
he's not.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Like my favorite actor out of it, or you know,
a performer out of the three or anything, but uh,
he's just got probably the most coherent.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Yeah. He kind of looks like a pilot now too,
with a shaved head and everything.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Or you could ride in the Peter Copter.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
I don't think that's gonna win. The Peter Copter.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Peter from Family Guy. He gets up and then he
crashes immediately and destroys shows lawn.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeap. Wasn't there another time you wrecked into Cleveland's house
and he fell out of the bath tub.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
There was that a lot of times. There was the
Peter Copter, the Peter dactyl. I think there's the Peter
boomerang app all those things. All those things.
Speaker 1 (11:20):
Well, welcome to family Guy Talk here on real Radio.
So back to theme parks. I saw I don't even
know if we need to go over it because we
went over the shows last week. But I saw the
Epcot lineup and I'm like, is this the same lineup
as like last year before. It's like, I have it.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
I can.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
It's house bands now, like you're not going to name
anybody new, Like everybody's on the Epcot Garden Rocks, which
is not a bad thing.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I mean, there's there's thirty Special, Simple Plan, Sugar Ray Rick,
Springfield Air Supply, Plain White Tea's ninety eight degrees.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Yeah, everybody, everybody's been there, I think, And I didn't
see anybody new.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Nobody just well, there's the music of Abba information Ay,
Firehouse Katrina formerly of Katrina in the Waves. Wait, Firehouse
is gonna play?
Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yes, that's a new one.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
God, yeah, I'm rattling off the new ones. Josiah Queen
and I am tongy oh wow, wow, that's a funny one.
Firehouse guy, I not think still exists.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
That's like an eighties band, Like that's like a deep
track for like eighties.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Like somebody I should talk to.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
Frinklover Rank Lober absolutely would know Firehouse one percent. He would.
He would just rattle it off.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
I'll ask him about it. But we had some big news.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Okay, let's hear it.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Do you want openings or closings?
Speaker 1 (12:34):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (12:35):
First, yeah, yeah, yeah, guys, we have to give a
fun for a Will to Fast and the Furious Colon Supercharged.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
It's gone.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
It will be PERMANENTTD closing in twenty twenty seven. The
Long Nightmares almost over.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
It definitely came out of a colon, so it was
like like comically bad, like like like you said, Scott,
it almost got to the point where people were riding
it for like camp.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Yes, So if you do it that way, it's a
fun experience.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Like I just would love to know, like the creators
of the ride, what were they thinking? Were they when
they got done? They're like, yeah, this is what we wanted.
This was This was it.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
It's like I say, though, sometimes you need rides that
just chew through a lot of people, especially on a
hot day, air conditioned, you can fill those party buses
up with a lot of people.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yeah. But I went on it the first time and
I was like, get me off this bus. No.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Like I was on it and I was like, the
pre show is happening, you know, And you get on
the bus and then you go down the road and
then you get off the ride, and I was like,
wait a second, they forgot to give me a ride.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
All I got was pre show. Yeah, And like like
the scenes were just kind of sad. Like the party scene,
there's like four people in the in the room. I'm like, no,
you need like you need like a couple hundred. But
it was like when you hire more people.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
It's like when you watch a movie that you know
was filmed during COVID. Yeah, so there's like six people
in the room and they're all all like distanced away
from each other.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
And they're the helicopter. I'm like, that's not to scale.
That is nowhere near scale right there?
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Why because the rock is the same size as the helicopter.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
It's so bizarre. So you got one more year to
ride that thing.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Yes, because in twenty twenty seven, we will be getting
Fast and the Furious colon Hollywood Drift.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Oh so a good ride. It's taking it's same same ip,
but it's gonna be a good ride this time.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yes, it's a Riders will experience three hundred and sixty
degree drifting as they speed through jaw dropping maneuvers, including
a one and seventy foot vertical spike that will send
riders nearly seventeen stories in the air over the outskirts
of Universal CityWalk.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
That sounds good. I like, I like this sounds of
that ride right there. Jimmy probably won't ride it, probably, Bam.
I'll be happy to look at it from the outside.
That's okay, that's all right.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
So just like what happened at Universal Hollywood when that
ride opened, their version of Supercharge closed. That's why. So
this is the exact same thing, Yeah, exact same thing. Okay,
it will be in it's taking the place of Hollywood
Ride Rocket. This Hollywood Ride will be in the New
York section of Universal Studios Orlando.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Okay, so they're going to put that there. So what's
going to go in place of what the Fast and Furious?
Any thoughts, any inclinations, any indications.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
A lot of people have speculated on a back to
the Future Hill Valley.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Don't tell that to Jimmy, tell that to James, to Scott,
don't tell it to both of you guys. I guess yeah, really,
do tell it to me.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
I find there to be kind of a lack of
show in that park. And maybe you could do hear
me out on this, maybe like a graveyard review hosted
by the ghost with the most. Maybe maybe like Beetlejuice
(16:01):
and hear me out. It could feature like a wolfman
and a Dracula. I mean, Frankenstars.
Speaker 1 (16:07):
This almost sounds familiar. I'm gonna be honest with.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
No, no, no, no one has ever thought of this idea. Uh,
creature friend the Black Lagoon.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Maybe you had Jimmy's you got Jimmy's buying at this point,
it's coming in on that one. Well, don't they have
creature over at Epic.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yes, yes, he's part of all of the all the
people that I'm rattling off bind his Beetle Juice are
a part of that ride.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
I still need to get out to Epic.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
I haven't done that yet, Yes, you do.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
You do need to get ride all yeah, I'm going
to go in October twenty twenty five. That's what we decided.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Okay, all right, you guys could have come to you
guys could have come exactly. You guys could have come
for my birthday. When I was there in October twenty
twenty five.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
We weren't invited. It was probably like you couldn't get
tickets at that point, right, that was.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
All Remember what I had to do.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Yeah, you had to like book a hotel and you
had to rebook a hotel. You had to book a
hotel twice. You had to buy tickets again. It was
a it was a whole thing.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, because there was right when they reopened start us sirs,
and I think everyone's like, oh, I'm gonna buy tickets now.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Yeah, So I had to buy a three park, two day,
three park.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Yeah. But you know what, you were committed.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
You're committed is committed to the bit you're in.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
You're in and you're gonna do it, and it happened.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
Other Universal news is they have announced a Universal has
announced a partnership with Pokemon. Okay, Smart global expansion. Okay,
so we're talking probably all of the parks.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Like Pokemon's like super huge on the cards again, Like
people are collecting these cards like crazy again.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
Yes, yep, there was more than one dad that I
talked to in Japan that they brought their son to
Japan just because they loved Pokemon. I believe that, I
would believe that that people will do crazy things for
their kids.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
Yeah, I mean I know people that have gone there
to go to the studio, Ghibli Park. I went to
Zipline into Godzilla's Mouth. Yeah, that was kind of the
impetus of the entire trip. Yeah, you know, I forget
I went to a theme park too, So you didn't
you went to Gatorland.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Totally forgot I did that. I forget a lot of things.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
But everyone is kind of speculating this might be a
replacement for the Simpsons.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Okay, no, we can't replace the Simpsons.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
The contract with Universal in Disney expires twenty eight You
don't think they're going to renew Who knows. I mean,
it's a very popular ip, it's very popular section of
the park.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I've always contended this. If you have parks here, you
just figure out the land. They're a little bit more
landlocked than say Disneys, but Epic Universe you could just
easily something over there.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Yeah. I remembered Gateland because you're talking about going there
specific for God's Lilla's Mouth, And I'm like, I think
some of these, like I saw there was a ton
of tourists, I'm like, some of these people probably came
here specifically to experience Gatorland.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
You talk about ziplining. Don't they have ziplining there?
Speaker 1 (18:50):
They do? They do. Supposely it's a very good zipline
there too. They supposed to be a great zip line. No, no, no,
I did not do it.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Did you petny gators? I did not petny gators.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
The Kapi burrows is what we went for, one hundred
percent for the kappy burros.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
You take one. I did not take one. They try
to take one.
Speaker 1 (19:04):
They were neat though they're like dogs, like dogs that
are rats. The experience is too short for my taste.
I wanted to be longer. I hope that it would
be longer. It's not expensive. No, it's twelve bucks. Yeah, yeah,
so it's not expensive at all. I just I was like,
ten you get ten minutes with them? And part of
that time is taking photos. I was like, man, I
just wish we had a little more time.
Speaker 2 (19:23):
Did you see a skunk caper? The creature of the swamp? Uh?
Speaker 1 (19:27):
No? I they're the number of gators there though, I was.
I was genuinely blown away by how many gators they
have at that place. It is wild. Did you feed
any of the gators? No, we didn't get around to it.
We were just running around. I know, I know, we
were doing a lot of stuff we're doing. We'd never
been there before. Okay, I see see Jauline. We had
(19:48):
to go back and see John Leen back there the
gator without the top mouth.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
You have lived here for sixty years and you have
never been.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
No, and I've never been to gather Land until now.
So now I can say I've been to you. You
are officially a Florida resident.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Now.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
I didn't even go for the gators. I went for
the kapi bars. I think you get like a homestead
exemption after you go to Gator Alan exactly. Yeah, well, yeah, yeah.
I was with my my family and my daughter's boyfriend,
so I let him know that we were both officially
Florida men. Now. Prior to this even though we both
were born here, we were not Florida man. Not until
you go to Gatorland. He become a true Florida man.
Did you see Florida woman at Gatlan? I did not
(20:28):
see Savannah. I did not see I saw pictures of Savannah.
I saw a video of Savannah play, but it did
not see Savannah that day. Yeah, I saw her when
I went. It was it was really busy though, I
mean it was the crowd of the place.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Holiday weekend.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
I guess it was a holiday weekend. Yeah, yeah, three
day weekend. I didn't even think about that, don't even The
weather was great. That's what entered my mind, and I
think that's what I entered a lot of people's minds.
We're still in great theme park weather right now. Oh yeah,
still good things to see and experience. So I do
recommend Gatorland Florida residents half off through the end of
the month. Now, and now you're a foot a resident,
(21:02):
I am, well officially now yeah, prior prior to this,
I mean, my birth certificate and license set it. But
now this is this is the official thing.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
They had those back then.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
They carved them into tablets.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
It's a scroll.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Sounds like you in your Korean skin front over there.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
Hey, it's not his fault that your birth certificate has
Roman numerals on it.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
You're not far behind me, pal, what you talk about?
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Okay? Can I quickly tease a game that we can
do on another show?
Speaker 1 (21:35):
Yes, when we have a further time.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Absolutely. Yes. Uh. It's a game called thumbs up some
thumbs down.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
It's inspired by us losing a ride. Okay, thumbs up,
thumbs down, and what replaced the ride?
Speaker 1 (21:50):
Oh okay, all right, I see where he's.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Going with this, So like thumbs up thumbs down on Hagrids,
Magical Creatures, Motorbike Adventure replacing dueling Dragons.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Oh I see the game? Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, I
get I get the game. Yeah, that's that's a good game.
We definitely need to play that sometimes because there's gonna
be some mixed opinions on there, especially when you get
to the Simpsons and a few other uh.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Like we can quickly do we can quickly do one.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
So Hercules and Zena replaced something called murder.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
She wrote, I'm going to give that a thumbs up
because it had Bruce Campbell in it.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
And I'm good. I'm gonna give it a thumbs down
because no, ain't no thumbs up. Now I'm gonna go
thumb up because I forgot murder, she wrote, was the
old lady and only old people watch that shitsbury. I
was thinking more Hitchcock, and then I remember that different
that's a different one old, Like I can't even imagine
that we had a murder, she wrote, like, like who
went to that?
Speaker 2 (22:42):
All right? Then thumbs up, thumbs down. Terminators the ride
four D replacing Hercules and Xena.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
I'm gonna give that a thumb up because I love Hercules.
It's that terminator. Sorry terminator, No it terminated and replaces it.
Oh transformers, Oh transformers, Good God, y'all just send me home.
Put me in the home, Put me in the home.
I'm still giving a thumbs up to like the Transformers.
Speaker 4 (23:03):
And then the whole murder chy road thing. It was
just like a back when that ride the attraction had opened.
The park was really centered around movies and movie made yes,
and that whole attraction was just showing you how like
sound would be recorded for a show and like how.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
They which that's kind of what the fascinating furious new
ride is going to be. It's more of an homage
or an ode to stunt drivers and the stuff that
goes into that.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
All right, that's cool, but yes, thumbs up for the Transformers.
James thumbs up the thumbs up. Who doesn't grew up
on that stuff.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
The first time I saw Optimus Prime, like in real life,
full size standingale, I was just like my eyeballs exploded
out of my head.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Yeah no, yeah, not out of the park. I call
that one a knock, and they knock. Get it right
out of the park of Transformers. But yeah, all right,
we'll play this further another time. This is a good game.
I like this game. Yeah, we are just about out
of time, So Scott, if people want to find it
