Speaker 1 (00:00):
We will start from the beginning, Ladies and gentlemen, I've
been Fletcher, that's Sammy Long.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
That's how it starts.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Goodnight.

Speaker 4 (00:06):
The pod Rays look to get back on track up
in the Bay. His help on the way b and
be a postseason continues. Plus, I want winners.

Speaker 5 (00:14):
Like the Sixers plus seven and a half in New York,
not even willis I like Spurs, Timberwolves, under two, twenty
and a half, got to move. I'll give you that,
under six and a half, Ducks and Golden Nights tonight.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
The man is resourceful beyond anything you can comprehend.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Time to head to the San Diego Sports seven to
sixty studios, Toad get in the zone with fletching Sammy.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Yeah, let's get it going on a Tuesday. What's happening everybody,
Ben Fletcher, Sammy Long with you till two o'clock today.
Samuel will keep the party rolling after that for an hour.
Schaefer and Sleewell will be your drive home. We got
Lakers basketball tonight, game one of their series with Oklahoma
City thunder Sammy just told you Lakers are fifteen and
a half point dogs. That is the biggest underdog of

(00:58):
Lebron James career in the postseason kind of wild when
you think about how long that career has spanned. It
is San Diego Sports seven sixty. We are going to
talk a lot of Padres today. Kevin Acy will be
on at one thirty our Padres Insider. Looking forward to
that the Padres game last night. I'll be honest, I'm
not super looking forward to talking about because I went
into the ninth inning with a little bit of a hope,

(01:19):
a little bit of hope that the Padres had a
chance to prove a lot of people wrong, and they
did not come through with it. But we got a
lot going on today. We'll get to it all over
the course of the next two hours.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
We are going to start.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
With this, Sammy Long got some free drinks last night, Sammy.

Speaker 5 (01:33):
Yeah, we want to shout out Johnny man Johnny was
a listener of this show.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Johnny Manziel.

Speaker 6 (01:38):
Shotny, not Johnny Manzel.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
If Johnny Manziel was there, we would have had a
lot of drinks probably, But now Johnny was the man
who was that was at the bar last night.

Speaker 6 (01:47):
A couple of my boys.

Speaker 5 (01:47):
Watching the games, and the waiter comes over, is like
you guys got a round of shots and I was like,
I was like, who bought these? And Johnny, a listener
to the show, bought us around of shots. So when
in a shout out, Johnny was watching his pods last
night and unfortunately things didn't go the way we all
wanted it to. But shout out to Johnny Man for
tuning in every day.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
And then six hours later you wind it up on
a wild ride down to Mexico. The drinks he gave
you were laced with DMT and cocaine and you went
on just a happy, by the way, happy Cinco day drincoh.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Yeah, we got a big one today.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I was chugging hot sauce this morning for some reason
for Cinco de Mayo, which is largely a made up holiday,
So congratulations to that is a.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Gringo holiday where we're all gonna drink.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Margaritas and eat Mexican food and have a damn good
time on a situation that's based in largely nothing. We
actually had a lady, her names of Mardia from cian
Chili's on our show this morning, and she's a San
Diego brown brand.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
She's from Guadalajara.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
She brought in her hot sauce this morning on Big
Rich TDM Fletch, and we were all enjoying it, having
a good old party, and then about halfway through she
was like, you realize this is just a white people
think Cinco de Mayo. Like, I'm glad to be here,
but this is not something that's celebrated in my household
at all.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Well, all I'll say is that Scar Dave la Hooya
said happy Sinco to Drinco and who is more.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Well, it's a massive holiday for fight fans, for Oscar
de la Joya, who's had some historic events on Cinco
de Mayo weekend, including the one that just happened over
the weekend. So I get it for Oscar de la Hoya,
but for the rest of us, it's just gonna be
a bunch of white dudes and sombreros drinking margaritas and
eaton tacos, which I'm fine.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
Bat sounds like cultural appropriation, Like.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
That's a fun night, but it's not actually based in anything.
All right, let's talk about the padres from last night.
So anyway you slice it and dice it, they're up
in San Francisco. They're going against Trevor McDonald, who's the
pitcher for the San Francisco Giants. Sounds like he had
an appearance or two last year. This was his first
appearance this year. He kind of shredded the Padres if
we're being honest. Jackson Merril was a nice first inning

(03:43):
home run. After that, what the guy ended up going
deep into the sixth inning with like seventy pitches. The
Padres at bats were non competitive to say the least.
Would like to give a shout out to Luisa Rice,
who was playing second base for the Giants last night.
The dude who was a defensive liability for the Padres
made two spectacular plays at second base. One happened early

(04:03):
he kind of picked a short hop from Fernando Tatzis Junior.
One happened in the final inning when he made that
bare hand play on Jackson Merril's ground ball. But if
you look at the kind of flow of the game,
Randy Vasquez I thought was fine. I thought he did
a really good job against a Giants lineup that hasn't
been able to hit at all this year. So what
three to one going into the ninth inning, Ramoon Loreano,
your leadoff batter is up first, three to one lead

(04:26):
for the Giants. Padres have the beef of their lineup
coming up to start the ninth inning. Ramon Loreano hits
a home run. Giants closer feeling a little shaky. Who's
up next, Fernando Tazzis Junior, Jackson Merril, Manny Machado. Who
would you rather have if you're a Padres fan? Then
those three games?

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Anyone else?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
One run game, ninth inning and what happens while Fernando
strikes out on a half swinging pitch. Jackson Merril, albeit
an excellent play from Luisa Rise in the infield, nearly
beats out a swinging bunt to base.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Mandy Mitchatda's white strikes outs in the game.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Just a rough reality, a rough thing that we all
kind of get proven right a day later. I mean,
there's some real questions about this Padres batting lineup, for sure,
in the real questions around those three guys. You give
Jackson Merrill credit it hits a home run early in
the game, but man Fernando Tazis Junior, Manny Machatda with
completely non competitive abs and Jackson Merril with an almost
infield single on a swinging butt. A rough way for

(05:24):
the Padres to go down against a really struggling Giants team.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
And the Pottery's pitching stack. He got three runs on
the road. Three runs on the road, I mean you
would take that any day.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Like the ball was flying yesterday.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
It work, which it doesn't usually fly there, but there
were lots of home runs in.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
I mean, I mean we talked all off season about
can the pitching staff hold up? And I guess what
we should have been talking about was can the bats
hold up? Because the bats didn't hold up in the
series against the Cups. They ranked close to the bottom
and power last year, and we just assumed that.

Speaker 6 (05:58):
These guys would get it together.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
But it's pretty if I'm if I'm a ja Preller
right now, I'm pretty frustrated because I'm I'm saying there going,
I don't know what I have to do to put
a team on the field when all the surrounding pieces
are coming together, I mean, the starting pitching staff is
held on despite all the injuries to Joe Musgrove and
Nick Pavetta and Giolito hasn't hasn't been able to pitch
yet because you know, because getting ready down and down

(06:20):
the miners, the Bullpen's been unbelievable. Campusano Boguards has finally
come alive, Gavin Sheets all these fringe signings, Castianos the
last week has been playing better, and yet the guys
that get paid all the money continually don't come through. Now,
I wanna give Meryl some credit hit the home run
the first inning last night, but I mean, Fernando, it
was the perfect It felt like I was watching it

(06:41):
last night with our guy Johnny. I was like, you
felt like it was the perfect moment to right all
the wrongs. Fernando's up, Machado's up, Merril's up, and you're
gonna go okay going into San Francisco.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
These guys are gonna come through. It's gonna save the day.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
And now your head news the game tonight where they
have their ace going and Logan Web against Walker Bill.
Now Walker Bueler is held up, but you got to
think that that Logan Web is the favorite in that matchup.
So if the Potters are gonna win tonight, they have
to have the bats go. And we're sitting here Tony
Vttello and the Giants, who literally cannot beat anybody else
besides the Potterys are now three and one against the

(07:16):
Potter's Tony Vattelo, the college manager that got hired you
to lead San Francisco is being killed on sports radio
there for the last couple of months. I mean, the
next two games are important, and you know the Giants
maybe fall off the map, but you're talking about tiebreakers
this early.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
In the year.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
You can't lose multiple series of the Giants, and then
you put a lot of pressure on these matchups later
in the year. So really frustrating loss last night. Not
a great look for the Pods. I was so full
of hope, man, I really was.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
When Ramon Loreno hit that home run to open up
the ninth inning, I was like, Oh, this is gonna
be the moment.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
This is It's perfectly set up. You're on the road,
you're in San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
It's actually turning into a bit of a hitter's friendly
ballp and the closer is clearly shaken. I had the
pitch he threw to Ramon Loreano, that's like a it
better have been a home run. It was a meatball
down the middle of the plate. And then Fernando Toazzis
Junior comes up. I was like, Oh, this story is
writing itself already, Kevin Acy is gonna have the easiest
time of his life writing about Fernando Tazzis Junior stepping
up big for the Padres and the Padres three big hitters,

(08:19):
Fernando Jackson, Manny going back to back to back can
really make some noise and come from behind to.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Beat the Giants. And then it didn't happen.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
And really you hit a hard ball and you get out.
Whatever it happens in baseball, it's a long season. But
for Fernando Tazzis Junior to go down the way he
did with a kind of a half swing, a half
effort swing and strikeout swinging, it was frustrating to watch,
to say the very least. All right, we got our
guys Salvador in our YouTube chat saying o la vatos,
feal cinco de mayo, otto martequila, margaritas. May see see

(08:52):
we're gonna get weird tonight, that's for sure. Whatever Mexican
food place you want to go tonight in San Diego,
you got plenty of good options. I know my wife
and I looking forward to a couple of margaritas to
enjoy the holiday. We got a bunch of texts coming in.
We will get to them throughout the show. Seven zero
four seven zero. Start your message with team. It is
time for us to get to Sammy's Big three where
he rips through the top stories in the world of sports.

(09:13):
If you want to join Salvador on YouTube, you can
at San Diego Sports seven sixty Sammy smash.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Looked, Frank is here.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Ready to go back to the office and knock the
socks off your friends, I mean co workers. It's time
for the top stories of the day.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Three three nine one three with a couple of texts
coming in, says Luisa rise As the game of his life,
both offensively and defensively pathetic and he says same old
padre ineptitude can't deliver baseball streaky, but it's rough right
now to watch it is and it's frustrating to watch.

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Man.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
But how about Luisa Rice making like web gem plays
in the infield.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
Yeah, you know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
And if you watch the YouTube recap of the game,
they'll go to some of the Giants calls, which I
think Kruk and Kuiper still in the booth for them,
and they were saying how Luisa Riyance has just been
a gym in the infield this year for the Giants.
I'm like, seriously, seriously, Luisa Rise.

Speaker 5 (10:08):
Yeah, it's uh. You do feel like he got scapegoded
a little bit last year. He didn't hit with runners
in the scoring position, but covered up for a lot
of a lot of guys on.

Speaker 6 (10:16):
The team not hitting.

Speaker 5 (10:17):
Sure, all right, let's head Last night in the NBA
was fantastic. Key Wolves go into San Antonio.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Not talking about the other game.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
I talk about that, talk about that game later, the
one that ruined long shots. The Timberwolves went into San Antonio,
got a big win. Anthony Vers didn't have a great game,
but gutted through after playing with the knee injury, a
or the Spurs on legit upset alert and then following
up post games. So Wemby had a record of twelve
blocks in the game, which is a postseason record. Chris Finch,

(10:45):
the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, believes the Reps
missed multiple uncalled goaltendings, adding another kind of element to
this series. Where do you where you at with this series?
You think the Spurs round upset alert.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Spurs around upset alert because the one man one man only,
and that's ant man. The fact he was not supposed
to play in this game. I don't know if everybody's
seen that kind of side story. Nobody on the Spurs
expected that Anthony Edwards would be playing in this game.
He comes out and plays, plays twenty five minutes, has
a couple of really clutch shots.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Anthony Edwards is terrific.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Man.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
If I'm the NBA, he is my guy I am promoting.
I'm pushing out there because when you talk about competitiveness,
willing to play both sides of the basketball, absolute star power,
a handsome dude, Anthony Edwards sort of has it all
and he seems like that type of dude who just
refuses to lose that all costs necessary. Which the last
time the NBA really had that guy, his name was

(11:37):
Kobe Dan Bryant and he did pretty damn good. So
I love Anthony Edwards. I'm a big t Wolves fan
because of him. I can't wait to see what this
series does well.

Speaker 6 (11:44):
And he doesn't get enough credit.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
I mean, the minso Timberwolves have been a back to
back Western Conference Finals and I don't think no one
talks about it. No one talks about it. And I
don't think people look at that roster and I been
guilty this too. I've been But who's with ant? Julius
Raynolds a good player, but is he really at number two?
Devincenzel's not there. I would assume we didn't play last night.
He's been an amazing acquisition for them coming over from Chicago.

(12:08):
So the team just keeps on winning. They play a
gritty brand of basketball they play. It's a more of
a ninety style. They play excellent defense, and they're just clutched.
They keep things close and they know how to close games.
I the Spurs, look, I think this is this series
could be going seven. The Spurs will get back in
this thing, but they the Spurs also haven't been here
before in Minnesota has and I think that was shown

(12:29):
in the last few minutes of that game last night.
Great great win by the Minnesota Timberwolves. All right, onto
the game that destroyed long shots for us.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Dude, what the hell Sixers, Philadelphia?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
This had to be They went into this game knowing
they were losing it, right, Yeah, it'd be what this was?

Speaker 5 (12:44):
It felt like coming off a emotional game seven, coming
back three to one, they get.

Speaker 6 (12:51):
Blown out but the Knicks.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
So, the Knicks have had three straight thirty plus point wins.
One of those is a fifty one point win against
the Hawks. Are the Knicks clear cut favorites out of
the Eastern Conference or was this just a kind of
a scheduled loss.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
I do think the Sixers will bounce back a little bit.
I'll say this about the Knicks. I'm not overly impressed
with the New York Knicks. I understand that they're blowing
people out. I'm overly impressed with Jalen Brunson. But if
the Sixers can adjust a little bit and sort of
try to gameplan him out. I don't know where the
Knicks necessarily turned to. I was listening to Colin I
can't remember the guess yet on earlier but he was saying,

(13:25):
this isn't I.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Saw say it again, Frank, I saw maybe he was
sort of.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Saying, this isn't the best Knicks team we've seen in
the last couple of years. Jalen Brunson just maybe playing
the best basketball he's played in the last couple of years.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
So we'll see. I like the way the Sixers are built.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
I do think that this was them showing up for
Game one, being like, all right, well, let's not push
everything unto the table right now, We'll wait for game two.
Splitting on the road is kind of ideal for people
in this reund of the postseason. So I'm curious what
the Sixers have next, but wildly disappointing.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
If you were watching long shots like.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
I was, Yes, very disappointing, Sam, Sammy, everything else came
in your tips, didn't.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Tell you that they were gonna phone in game one.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
I am very disappointed in Philly.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
The under on the Ducks Knight's game hit the under
on the t Wolves Furs. In terms of the Knicks,
the Knicks are a damn good basketball team. I think
there's limitations a little bit with Brunson and Karl Anthony
Towns have to do so much for the team.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Who would be a tougher matchup for Oka see Knicks
are Sixers because I would lean Sixers.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
I would too because now the Sixers don't play a
lot of defense.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
But I would stand in bed being healthy.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
By the way, right if it beats healthy, they have
a big advantage because he's better than chet Holm Green
and Isaiah harten Segin and they have the scores to match.

Speaker 6 (14:37):
Now.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
The Knicks play a tough brand of defense, but I
just think at the end of the day, of how
many defenders Oklahoma City has, that would be tough for
them because they could throw so many guys Lou Door,
Alex Crusoe at Jalen bruntson. The Knicks are a good team.
I do feel like that was a little bit of
a scheduled loss. I think this will be a tough series.
But the Eastern Conference is funny because the Pistons have
the Knicks number, the Knicks right now have Philly's number,

(15:00):
and the Calves have you have played well against some
of these teams as well, so it kind.

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Of feels like, oh, who's who?

Speaker 5 (15:05):
The matchup is really going to depend on who advances
to the NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
All right, Big three.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Number three is gonna be on the Kentucky Derby. And
what came in the numbers that have come in for it.
We'll tell you what those are on the other side.
Plus read a bunch of these YouTube comments. Thank you
for being here, everybody. We appreciate having you. Long for
the ride all right at San Diego Sports seven sixty
you are listening.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
Live on my heart radio app Hey, okay.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Single to my I was the Mexican version of Saint
Patrick's dage. Just another BS American holiday six one nine.
Can't believe Sammy didn't talk about his favorite superhero, The
Deep after I bought him a Yager shot.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
What a letdown is that? Johnny? What's up? Johnny?

Speaker 6 (15:39):
Thanks for having me? What's up? Dude?

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Are you guys talking about the Boys?

Speaker 6 (15:43):
You need not talk about the Boys?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Conversation about the hit Amazon Prime TV show. That's been
a real letdown so far in season five.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
I'm surprised you think it's a six one nine. Do
you think it's a letdown? Because I I've liked The
Boys so far. I've liked it, I haven't loved it.
What episode are you up to? Have you up to
the most reason? I'm only three in so here here's
my problem.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
And Thrones kind of did this too.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
It's like the final season they do a couple of
episodes that are just throw away episodes, and I'm like, wait,
You've had a year and a half to plan out
what you were going to do for the final season,
and so far the storyline hasn't really advanced for the
last two episodes.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
I just think it's kind of a cop out. Think
it's kind of lame.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
I think you're just cashing in on how popular it
was and not giving the fans what they actually want.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Okay, well, I got to watch the next two episodes
to get up to snuff because I've I've enjoyed it
so far, but it is it is kind of crazy
this season.

Speaker 6 (16:27):
They're definitely amping it up.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Yeah, I mean, the payoff better be great. And the
creators have talked about it. They were like, look, we
don't want to be the next Game of Thrones where
everybody looks and talks about how great of a show
it is, and then all of a sudden, the final
season comes out or the last part of the final
season comes out, and it's a big disappointment.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
It's a walking to do.

Speaker 5 (16:43):
The Walking Dead has single handley made shows end their
series earlier.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Because it isn't the Walking nts still going on.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
I think it AMPATHETD spin off. I mean, that was
the biggest show on television and then it was that
thing's still on. I mean it just kept going left
and right.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
We'll see what the boys does.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
They have a few weeks to redeem themselves, but so
far super impressed.

Speaker 6 (17:05):
The Deep is the Deep your favorite character on that show?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
No, he's the worst. He's the actor does a good
job playing him, but I can't.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Stand to him.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
You're supposed to hate him, he's awful, but like him.
Homelander is my favorite character on this show.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Faite character.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
He does such a good job. Anthony Starr. He's kind
of a forgot about actor. What a tremantous job he's
done with that character.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
That is definitely the kind of guy to go. I mean,
Homelander doesn't have all bad ideas, but to he like
Homelander than Billy Butcher.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
Like Billy Butcher is also kind of a piece of
crap at the show, but he's the piece of crap
good guy instead of the piece of crap bad guy.
But I think it's incredibly well acted. I've been disappointed
with the acting so far this season.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
Do you know that everyone's sitting in Seagu to Mile
text right now? Do you understand that our entire iHeart
Cluster is having a Sinkle to Mile party right now
and some of us are working and they're doing tequila
shots in there.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
So I got to uh at new bosses in town,
which is why there's like a sink of to MYO
meet and Greek going on.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Oh it's not really, not really a literally down the hall.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
I don't think there's shots that's kila flowing, because I
think that would get some people in trouble.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
But I do know that my entire morning show is
over there.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
I've asked them to represent me well and Sammy well
with the new boss. Tell them how great of abs
we have, tell them how great our hair is.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Collectively. Sammy does a lot of the legwork there.

Speaker 5 (18:23):
So we are you're gonna get an endorsement for Rogaine.
I'm gonna be so proud of you when it happens.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
I don't know. We'll see all right before we run
out of time here, Rogaine.

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Get that flowback. I don't know davidly Roth type of locks.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Betting on the twenty twenty six Kentucky Derby, the numbers
are in confirmed this morning by Yahoo Sports. Better's wagered
four hundred and seventy three point nine million dollars across
the entirety of Derby week now. Two hundred and thirty
four point four million of that was on the actual

(19:00):
Kentucky Derby, They'll race the best two minutes in sports
three hundred and forty nine million, where the full Derby
day program four hundred and seventy three point nine million
dollars were bet on Derby week from start to finish.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
That is an astronomical number.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
You're getting, like kind of in the ballpark of super
Bowl with that number. I think super Bowl was up
over a billion this year. But it is wild that
the Kentucky Derby, which is horse racing for one a year,
it feels owns it BA completely.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Takes over the landscape.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
And I'll give NBC credit, I think they make it
a much bigger deal than what it is. Ultimately, this
is two minutes two minutes where horses are running really fast.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
That's what that is.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
But I love it crazy, like they've taken it over
for an entire week. Like coverage of this started on Thursday,
finished on Sunday after the race was already done, and
it was Mike Turico standing in front of the race
tracks for like four straight days, NonStop coverage. It was
live on Peacock basically twenty four to seven. It's wild
what they've done, and I guess for the public it
means something, and it's big.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
It's a big deal. Each year it's all one hundred
and seventy three million dollars. Is crazy, you know, because.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
For the try to win the triple Crown, you win
the Prenus and the Belmont Preneus is in a week
and a half.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
If nothing sniffs this, no, but.

Speaker 5 (20:13):
But what'll sniff it is if there is someone going
for the triple crown and the fact that who wanted
this year, first female trainer ever to do it, that
adds an element. I mean this thing like Renegade was
the favorite, came in second photo, finished at the end.
I mean, the Prenous is going to be unbelievable in
a week and a half. And gambling on horse racing,
I said this yesterday. Anyone who comes to San Diego,

(20:35):
first thing, I take him to Delmar Racetrack easily one
of my favorite spots in all of U S Team,
I mean, is the greatest.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
Now.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
I've been to probably four or five races at Delmar.
I've been once to Los Alamados up in Long Beach area,
kind of Orange County area. Yeah, I want a lot
of money in Los Alamados.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
And I was following a drunk guy the entire time.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
But he just kept going back up to the window
and saying, I got this horse to win, and I
would just say, yep, that twenty bucks on it, and
we cleared out, like we want a ton of money
that day.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Never really had success at del Mar.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
Do you do you do boxes or like one two
three or trifectas or do you bet just to win?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
So at Delmar, I would do the trifectus, which you're
just betting the one two three in any order.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
Any good boxes comes to any order.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
When I was following the drunk guy, he was just
picking winners left and right.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
I don't know if he was seeing God and seeing
the future. But it was a lot of fun just
following what he was doing. But horse racing, I guess,
is massive. Welcome to the party, everybody. Four hundred and
seventy three million dollars. If you are a gambler looking
for a home in San Diego, might I say our
doors are open.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
We're the only show in San Diego that gives you
Derby talk on a Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Welcome to the party, Come on in. We got a
new parlay coming up at twelve forty five. Sammy was
oh so close last night. The seventy six ers really
screwed the pooch on that one. But we'll see what's
going on at twelve forty five. Today it is San
Diego Sports seven to sixty. Let's get back to the
Padres plus a little Lakers talk. On the other side,
you're listening live on myheart radio app Rich saying hitting
Fidel's and Salona Beach first tonight, then hoping the always

(22:00):
don't let me down once again talking about.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
The Padres Fidel's, Fidel's is fantastic to drinko spot.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
Yeah, you a Benefidels.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
No, I don't think I.

Speaker 6 (22:10):
Oh, it's righted by the racetrack. Dude's unbelievable sal.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
On a beach, go to check it out.

Speaker 1 (22:13):
A man says, great show as always, guys, how about
a little kid frost la raza for both Taco Tuesday
and Sinco demo quest I think you just got a
little kid frost la pazza, Uh six one five? How
much of that money was spent on Sammy's boxed Exacta
from the four hundred and seventy three million dollars I
was bet on the Derby us here in San Diego.

(22:33):
We put a bunch on the Puma, the Puma and
somebody else eight nine.

Speaker 7 (22:38):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
The puma scratch though, So I don't really count it
as a loss because when I bet it, I thought
that he was gonna win. I I put a little
ten dollars on on nineteen.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
To win. I ended up winning two forty. My mom
had a box exact.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
That's not what the six one five is talking about.
They're talking about the picks you gave to everybody that
we all bucher because the Lapuma scratched.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
Oh I don't know.

Speaker 5 (23:05):
Maybe yeah, maybe there's like just millions of dollars coming
in from the San Diego area. Probably we we are
funding the Kentucky Derby, just like we will find the pretmous.

Speaker 6 (23:14):
But now we have a little in a week from now.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Now we got a little data, and so we're gonna
really get some good bets locked in for next right, sure.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Sure, all right, let's get some of these texts before
we get back to the padres here six one nine.
I'm caught up on the boys. It's been okay so far.
I wanted more violence. Homelander is the best, especially his
drink preferences.

Speaker 6 (23:30):
The milk.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
You gotta have the milk. Uh six one nine.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
Can't mention Fidels and Solana without talking about Tony Jackals.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
Next Jackles next door is fantastic.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
I've been there.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
I've not been to Fidel's. Maybe right next door, Yeah,
I gotta try it out. How close are both of
those to belly up? They gotta be right down the street.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
Right down the street.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
Literally, it's you go past like that fish place and
the track keep going down.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
That's likes a lot of beach Man. They got some
cool golf courses up there. They got everything.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
Salana Beach is a very underrated part of San Diego
because everyone focuses on like La Joya and like PV
is great and everything, but Salana Beach gets forgot about
a lot.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
I would tend to agree, all right. It is San
Diego Sports seven sixty.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
I don't know if you're aware of this, but on
San Diego Sports seven to sixty we carry a lot
of the Lakers games. The Lakers have continued their season
there in the second round of the NBA postseason, and
they're playing against the Oklahoma City thunder tonight. Now, the
spread on this game?

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Is it holding it?

Speaker 1 (24:17):
Fifteen and a half, Sammy, fifteen and a half, fifteen
and a half. And Sammy's told you in a couple updates,
But that is the largest spread of Lebron James's postseason career,
not of the last five years, not of the last
ten years, but of his entire career. Which says something, man,
And it says something about the way the Lakers are constructed.
I think it says a lot about the way ok

(24:38):
C is constructed. Nobody is expecting the Lakers to have
much of a chance in this one. I watched the
NBA tonight crew. They all picked OKC. I watched ESPN yesterday,
they all picked OKC. Sammy, Is there any life for
the Los Angeles Lakers against the thunder.

Speaker 6 (24:56):
Define life winning the series?

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Life?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Is there any possibility? Is there a snowballs chance?

Speaker 3 (25:03):
In the hell?

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Is there a one out of one hundred chance that
the Lakers sneak past Okay?

Speaker 6 (25:08):
See, obviously it's not very likely.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
I'm not gonna sit here and predict the Lakers are
The Lakers probably get run in this series. But the
Lakers need to approach this thing one game at a time.
It has to be kind of like how we talked
about Houston. I mean, Houston was a eight to one
favorite to win that series. Lakers were massive dogs. No
one gave him a chance, and the Lakers kept extending
the series because Luca coming back. If the Lakers were

(25:32):
to win this series, it would require Luca coming back
in a couple games. So I mean Austin Reeves, it's
a huge series for him because he's gonna get a
contract in the offseason, and a lot of people have
discussed can Austin Reeves be a number two on a
championship winning team.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
It's up for debate.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
I think Austin Reeves is a very underrated player, and
I do think you could hide his defense with Luca
if the roster's constructed properly.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
But I understand the concerns.

Speaker 5 (25:56):
I mean, you watch teams like Minnesota who play excellent
Brandon defense. Luca Reeves in the backcourt is not not
exactly the ninety six Bulls, but Austin Reeves is gonna
have to go off in the series. Lebron's got to
do his thing, and I think the one advantage that
we can look at because the Lakers have the role
players have been playing excellent basketball the last couple weeks.

(26:18):
Deandrayden quietly had a really good series against Heuson Rockets.
And I've been very hard on Deandraden because he hasn't
been very good for most of the year. But the
Rockets actually averaged the most rebounds in the league at
forty nine game. Now the Thunder only averaged forty four.
They're not a great rebounding team. Some of that could
be due to that the Rockets missed so many shots,
but Ayton was dominating on the glass, averaging about eleven

(26:40):
rebounds per game. If the Lakers are in this series,
it's going to be because Jackson, Hayes and Deandreyden have
field days on the glass. Because if you give Oklahoma
City second chance opportunities, you just pack up and go home.
I mean, they have too many scores, too many threats
throughout the game, and the Lakers got to keep this
thing close and see if they can implement at the
end of the game, because actually OKAC is only twenty

(27:01):
four and ten in clutch time games.

Speaker 3 (27:04):
Now, we would have.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Made a bag if we would have bet the Lakers
at the beginning of the Houston Rockets series. Do you
know how much we would be able to make if
we bet the Lakers right now?

Speaker 6 (27:11):
So it out to people.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
I don't know the number.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
I was asking if you knew, I would assume you
did what there were eight to one dogs against the
Houston Rockets. I'm gonna guess it's gotta be like fifteen
to one dogs here to maybe Morey's.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
I'm pulling this up right now to win the series.
They're fifteen and a half point dogs tonight. Yeah, it's
like something like that.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
It's gotta be fifteen or greater.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
I mean, this would be if the Lakers did this.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Plus nine hundred underdogs to win the series.

Speaker 6 (27:39):
So plus nine hundred.

Speaker 5 (27:40):
It would if the Lakers somehow beat Oklahoma City. I
mean it would take a j Alen Williams probably not
coming back.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
And Luca coming back after Game two right.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
And it would require I mean career series from really Hatchamara,
Luke Kennard, because that's okay, ac secret saw us is
they have. I mean everyone has about Shaye and jal Wins,
chat Holm, Grame, but lou Dort, Alice Crusoe, aj Mitchell,
I mean they got guys down the beach.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Yeah, I would say lou Dort was the most important
piece on their team a year ago when they won
the championship. He was incredible. The defense that he was playing,
he was incredible. All Right, I promise some Padres news here.

Speaker 3 (28:18):
I'm gonna kind of do this.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
I feel like everything we've said about the Padres the
last couple of days has been negative news. So I'm
gonna start with some positive and then i will give
you the new news, which we'll talk about with Kevin
Acy coming up at one thirty. Here's the positivity, ready
for this. Padres are in the best stretch of Padres
baseball in its history. That is an absolute, undeniable fact.
Back to back ninety one seasons. They were a couple
of games away from a World Series appearance a few

(28:41):
years ago, they were a couple games away from beating
the Dodgers two years ago now and it hasn't worked out,
but they are in the best part of Padres existence,
maybe all time. Well is that fair to say? I
think that's fair to say. I'm gonna start with the positivity.
They also have a really good record. Right now, here's
the negativity. Padres lost yesterday. Padres had the best hitters

(29:02):
in their lineup or supposed to be their best hitters
in their lineup up in the ninth inning, and they
didn't come through. And today we get news from Kevin
Acy that says each week the update for starting pitchers
Joe Muskrove and Nick Pavetta has been the same.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
Each week.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
The update reads like this, continuing active rest for the
next several weeks. Kevin Acey goes on to say, essentially
this means they are conditioning, getting treatment, and not throwing.
Neither are expected to be back before the All Star break.
Padres do expect both of them back before the end
of this season. But this is now a couple of things.
So we've heard coach Cancera say he's fearful that Nick

(29:36):
Povetta may not pitch again at all this season. And
Joe Muscro's problems are apparently bones and cartilage in his elbow,
which don't sound good to me. So the Padres make
the move to bring in Lucas Giolito.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
Big move.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Griffin Canning looked excellent his first time out for the Padres.
We'll see if these band aids can work. But the
update on Joe musk Grove and Nick Pavetta is not
a good update because neither of them are throwing a
baseball current. Well, the crazy part about it is and
it sounds like they're not going to be throwing a
baseball for the next several weeks.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
If you would have told me for the season or
right as it started that those guys would be coming back,
I'd say it was over.

Speaker 6 (30:09):
But the problem hasn't been the pitching. I mean, that's
none at all.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
That's what's crazy, is like these guys have actually held up. Yes,
would you rather have Nick Pavetta out there and Joe
Musgrove than Walker Bieler and Herma Marquez one hundred percent.
But the pitching staff is held up to a large extent.
But the problem is is that the bats don't step up,
or the big time bats don't step up. And I
think you've seen that over the last week and a half,

(30:35):
that when they've stepped up and faced better competition in
some I know, Loreanno hit the home run last night,
but his numbers have been cooling off a little bit
since his tour start. You're relying on so many other
fringe pieces and the core group of your lineup has
not been hitting the ball well, so like it really
comes down to and especially with those guys out, Paveta out,
with Musgrove out and hoping to get him back by

(30:56):
the All Star break.

Speaker 6 (30:58):
I mean, like these guys got to wake up.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
And we feel like we say this every day, but
last night was a prime opportunity with all three of
the big guns coming up. After Loreno hits the home
run of the ninth, the you know Giants pitcher looks
a little rattled on the mound and then mow them
all down. So it's just, I don't know, it's like
a mental thing right now. They can't get through it.
You're certainly tonight againt slogan Web, I'm gonna have to
hit the ball because they have a pitching advantage with

(31:22):
Webs versus Walker Bueller. So it is disappointing, but again
shout out to a j.

Speaker 4 (31:29):
Preller.

Speaker 5 (31:30):
The pitching staff has been fine, not the best it
could be, but it's been serviceable. The Potters' problems right
now are one hundred percent on the offensive side of
the ball.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
We'll see the update from Kevin Ace. Not good starting
pitchers Joe Musgrove and Nick Pavena several more weeks before
they start throwing a baseball. We'll talk with Kevin Ace
coming up at one point thirty today getting a full
update on them. I do also want to ask Kevin
the question, like, why does it keep popping up in
national media about Fernando Tazi shooting or being traded. This
is twice in a month now that MLB network is

(31:59):
running with this story. Is it more than just national
media looking for something to grab onto in the early
parts of the baseball season. That's where I'm at right now,
because twice in a month seems kind of crazy. If
they're just looking for stories to grab onto and talk about,
twice in a month seems like a lot. We got
long shots on the other side, Samy's gonna give us
a little parlay for tonight's action in sports. Lakers, I mean,

(32:21):
are they gonna be on this long shots?

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Well, yeah, there's two games the NBA Playoffs tonight. You
know they're gonna be on it.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
Text line is not gonna be happy with that. Your
Lakers picks haven't been working out for us, Sam.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
The Lakers picks have been just fine. We had a
three straight hits of Lakers pitts.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
All right, we'll see coming up next on San Diego
Sports seven sixty live on the Heart Radio app.

Speaker 3 (32:39):
That game will be this Saturday.

Speaker 6 (32:42):
As CFC gave up the draw late.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
I know it was a late one, but STFC is
gonna be back in action this weekend. They got what
time is that game against Seattle Sounders. I had it
right in front of me and now I lost it.
Saturday May Night, seven thirty pm. So we'll get on
the air around seven o'clock on Saturday. Adrian Garcia Marquez
and Darren Smith will be on the call for the
game as well as pregame action seven o'clock this Saturday,

(33:04):
San Diego FC against the Seattle Sounders. The Atmosphere Saturday outrageous.
Marcus Einbertzim played an incredible game right after he was
on our show.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Might I add maybe we're the yeah, good luck charms.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
But we'll see if SDFC can get back on track
this weekend against Seattle up in Seattle. All right, Sammy
long shots, we can talk about last night's for a
second here. Hockey Pick money, NBA Pick one money, NBA
Pick two seventy six ers to cover last night seven
and a half points spread.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
They lose by thirty eight or whatever it was.

Speaker 5 (33:37):
I mean, like, first off, Jalen brought say, twenty seven
points in the first half, and that's what was sick.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
We knew he would be.

Speaker 5 (33:42):
No one else outside a cat was doing anything, but look,
I should have known better. Probably was aggressive coming off.
That's Game seven in Boston.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Noticing we haven't had very many Philly fans in the
text line or on YouTube.

Speaker 5 (33:55):
Chest Philly was talking a lot yesterday, but they yeah,
the k next boat race, though it felt like a
little bit of a scheduled loss. I thought seven and
a half was too big of a number because I
thought that the Philly guards you're able to be able
to compete a little bit more.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Since twenty seven and a half wouldn't have been enough.

Speaker 5 (34:11):
I do think Game two will be different. Those picks
will be coming tomorrow until tease till forty five. But
I don't think that series has done yet. I think
the Knicks plays a good basketball right now. But if
you're the Philly all you gotta do is go one
and one and take it back to Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
I do like the Sixers.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
I hated what I watched last night for the first
ten minutes before I turned it off because it was
already over and we had already lost. All right, Sammy,
let's get some long shots for today. We got a
brand new one. Come in your way. See if we
can get a winner here on a Tuesday. It's been
a while since we've gotten a Tuesday win. Mondays were
hot for a long time till yesterday. Let's see if
we can get a Tuesday win today, Sammy, smash.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
You looking for some luck, want to win big? It
was so money we don't even know any time to
take a chance. Play that to me and his money
long shots.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
All right, Sammy long where are we heading for today?

Speaker 6 (35:04):
Start with the NHL?

Speaker 5 (35:05):
Are we at the Minnesota Wild the Colorado Avalanche. Now,
for those who didn't watch this game the other night,
it was nine to six in the Colorado Avalanche. Okay,
they were. I mean the goals left and right. One
of the highest scoring playoff games in years. I do
like the under six and a half tonight. I'll tell
you why. Though cal mccarr, one of the star defensemen

(35:25):
for the Colorado Avalanche, missed time in that game. He
actually came back in the third period ended up scoring
two goals. But he's one of the best defensemen in
all the NHL. He missed a bulk of that second period,
which allowed for all the goals getting through Joel Erickson.
Eck is not still not there at the Star Center
for the Minnesota Wild. They're also missing a couple of

(35:45):
blue liners, So I think a little bit of aggression
of the mean under six and a half. Scott Wedgwood,
the goalie for Colorado, allowed more goals in Game one
than he did his entire series against the LA Kings. Now,
the Minnesota Wild is a much better attack than the
LA Kings, but I do think this is a little
bit of a sucker bet. Usually playoff lines are set
at five and a half. It's up to six and
a half because of that Game one. I like the

(36:07):
under in this. The you know, Minnesota Wild coach is
stressing defense.

Speaker 6 (36:11):
This is this is this one's hit and under.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
Let's go defense three to two ball game three two?

Speaker 6 (36:15):
Baby, all right?

Speaker 3 (36:16):
Three two punt game? What do we say in hockey?

Speaker 6 (36:17):
Three two punt game three two? Yeah, put game? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (36:21):
I like it. What's next? All right?

Speaker 5 (36:22):
We're having the NBA. Let's go to game number one.
We got pistons and we got the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Speaker 6 (36:30):
This is gonna be a fun series.

Speaker 5 (36:31):
I'm really excited for this series because, a you have
the whole Caid Cunningham, Donovan Mitchell kind of young American
star guard rivalry. So much has been made of who's
gonna be Team USA, the leader team. You say, when
Curry's gone, when Lebron's got, when Kd's gone. Donovan Mitchell
and k Cunningham have a have a claim to both,
and they're gonna have to outdo each other in this series.

(36:52):
You know you got James Harden there. Donovan Mitchell and
James Harden historically haven't always come up the best in
clutch moments, but I do give them credit. They won
that Game seven against the Toronto Raptors despite no brandingram playing.
I like the under two fifteen and a half. We're
riding with unders. I'm gonna tell you why Kevin Hurder
is a game time decision for the Pistons. That's a
big deal for them, even if he plays them with

(37:14):
a deductor strain.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
Even if he plays that is a big loss.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
He is the one three point shooter outside of Kate
Cunningham on the team, and if he's.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
Not able to play.

Speaker 5 (37:23):
You're wondering where the three point offense is coming from, because, frankly,
outside of Dennis Jenkins shooting above his his usual clip,
it's a front court heavy team. And then on the
flip side, I think the problem with the Caves are
not tough like they're a finesse team. They should be
a lot tougher than they are. Evan Mobley, James Harden,
Donovan Mitchell, Max Shrus Gray's three point shooter. It's it's

(37:43):
kind of a pretty team in the Detroit Pistons mug
it up, they make it gross. This is going to
be a muddy game. They're also coming off you know,
the both teams played in Game seven's the on Sunday night,
So a little rusty Calves getting in late to Detroit.

Speaker 6 (38:00):
Under two fifteen and a half.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
The rebounding totals the Piston's average about three more rebounds
per game at about forty seven to the Cavs forty four.
I think they're gonna offset this not a lot of
second chance opportunities under two fifteen and a half. In
Game one tonight, Lakers in thunder.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
All right, can I throw something out here before we
get to Lakers in thunder. Lakers just played on May first?
Was that their last game was that game?

Speaker 5 (38:25):
Six?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Yeah, Friday, Friday night, Friday, May first. Okay see, has
not played since last Monday. So a week in a day.
I don't know how that's going to impact your decision.
But obviously, okay see much much more rest. Lakers just
coming off a very big series and six okay see swept.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
I'm not as tripped about the rest advantage tonight though,
because five days difference. It's a big deal. It is,
But the Lakers, this will be the biggest rest advantage
they've had in a minute.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
I mean it's not an advantage.

Speaker 5 (38:52):
No, no, I'm saying, but they in their series against Houston,
they were playing, you know, like every three days, but
every other day.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
He could have gone down to Combo and partied for
a few days and come back and started getting ready
for that season.

Speaker 5 (39:04):
Be fair that I hasn't always helped teams when they
come back a week later having a whole week off.
I don't play rest, and in this I think rest
becomes more of a factor later in the series because
the Lakers are a bit older and they're playing every
other game in Game one. I don't take the rest
and advantages much.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
All right, so we got the line. At least it
looks like the line has jumped. Sixteen and a half points.
Is the spread now in the over under set of
two thirteen and a half.

Speaker 6 (39:27):
Sixteen a half points?

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Uh oh?

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Now the Lakers have to split in Oklahoma City. They
have a shot to win this thing. I mean, if
they go out O two series is over, they're probably
getting swept in game one. This is their big shot
because they're coming off the rest. They have been playing
for a week Oklahoma City and the Lakers role players
have been playing fantastic so far. I see you over there.

(39:50):
Sixteen and a half is a huge number. That is
a massive number. First off, Oklahoma City could be blowing
them out by twenty and this thing gets back to
our covered the other way. Give me the Lakes show
plus sixteen and a half. I do think I'm not
saying they're gonna win this game. Okole to say he
probably wins the game, but sixteen and a half is
a massive number. I do think it's funny without Luca playing,

(40:11):
the defense for the Lakers has been better. DeAndre Ayden
has been rebounding the ball very well. I think that
will be an interesting matchup to watch tonight, and I.

Speaker 6 (40:19):
Just the Lakers.

Speaker 5 (40:21):
This will be the biggest rest advantage they will have
this entire series.

Speaker 1 (40:24):
YouTube text line, where are we at on this? You
want to ladd on this? You want to lay the
next person the Texan or chats on YouTube. I will
follow your advice. I don't think I'm just going with
Sammy straight up.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
Here's why the Lakers have been beating on an average
by twenty nine points in the four games this year.

Speaker 3 (40:40):
Sixteen and a half is well.

Speaker 6 (40:41):
Let me tell you why.

Speaker 5 (40:42):
Let me tell you why that number is all flawed.
In Game four of the series, the Lakers played No.
One in that Game three where Luca and Reeves got hurt.
Reeves got hurt in the first two minutes. Luca got
hurt in the second half. It got away from him.
I'm not saying they're winning this game. Sixteen and a
half is a massive number, and the Lakers are gonna
come to play tonight there covering the spread plus sixteen
and a half.

Speaker 6 (41:02):
It's the Lakers.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
I think I'm going okay, see on this one. Okay,
I think I'm going Okay.

Speaker 5 (41:09):
Sea in a playoff game one sixteen and a half points.

Speaker 3 (41:13):
Yeah, we just saw this last night.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Though last night Sixers were dogged by seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
It ended up being like a thirty eight point game.

Speaker 1 (41:22):
All right, Well, I can't do it anymore because Brian
on YouTube said, roll with Sammy sixteen and a half.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
Ryan, I don't like this, Brian.

Speaker 6 (41:33):
Brian knows.

Speaker 5 (41:33):
I'm telling you the Lakers, if there's any game in
the series, they're going to come to play tonight. I'm
submitted Austin Reeves has a lot to prove. I'm telling
you sixteen and a half. They're covering the spread tonight.
You can clown me tomorrow twelve they don't. Sixteen and
a half. They're covering the spread.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
Well, we're clipping all of this and whatever the reaction
is will be the reaction. But I am rolling with Sammy.
We're going Lakers plus sixteen and a half. Cleveland Detroit
under two seventeen and a half is what I got
it at.

Speaker 6 (42:01):
I think beautiful.

Speaker 5 (42:01):
I had a two to fifteen a halfs so you
get you get extra points.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
In Minnesota and Colorado under six and a half goals
scored I'm in there, Faith and Sammy.

Speaker 5 (42:11):
All the all the Money's come out in Oklahoma City,
the rare, that elusive Tuesday win. We'll see if we
got it. It's San Diego Sports seven sixty hour number two.

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
