Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tith On.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
You just got to take a deep breath. This is
what we wanted. We have to be accountable for what
happened for Rowin one. We got sixteen off the ploy,
tremendous opportunity to go on the road next week and
flip all this momentum. And so again that's that's how
we got to look at it. We got to handle
ourselves internally, not worry about the external noise. We know
we'll be there and I know our guys will do
great job of that momentum.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
What momentum are you talking about? Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
You know it's super disappointing lost yesterday for our Bengals.
I think the expectations were really, really high, really high,
and I could see why. I mean, it almost felt embarrassing.
And listen, he had said it himself. That was coach
Zac Taylor, by the way, of course, if you didn't recognize
his voice, that they have to quiet the outside noise,
which I agree with, and you know what, they're professionals,

(00:52):
so they're going to do what they get paid to do.
But I just think that the rest of Cincinnati was
just disappointed that was there. It almost felt like people
weren't mad at the Patriots because they won, they were
mad that the Bengals lost. And I feel like that's
just a different energy. If you're picking up when I'm
putting down. Let's talk about Joe Burrow here, he is

(01:15):
talking after you know the loss.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
You're more and more comfortable as the game goes, and
is as the season goes. The first game back from injury, so.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I was comfortable, but not being more comforful as to do.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
I feel like there's always so much noise surrounding the Bengals, right,
there's always a lot of you know, Joe Burrow, love
them great, right, the blonde hair, the Paris fashion show.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I love that he was able to do those things
in his off season.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
But the highest paid quarterback last year, I felt like
just plagued us with negative press. And I feel like,
no matter how hard you sometimes try to quiet the noise,
negative energy just outweighs positive energy if you let it.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
And the whole stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
With Jamar Chase, with the contract, et cetera, I just
feel like it makes us look bad again. I'm an
outsider looking in as far as how the sports world
works with money and such.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
But yeah, we're on our way to Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Country next Sunday with an I love a four o'clock game.
By the way, that is my favorite time to watch
a Bengals game.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
So it's happening.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Like I said, we're on our way to Taylor and
Travis Country. Before we move over to Taylor and Travis
talk from the weekend, let's address the Super Bowl halftime show.
So Kendrick Lamar, in an announcement with the NFL, of
course in partnership, announced the Apple Music halftime show year.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
This year will be Kendrick.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
But the deal everybody a named Kendrick Lamar now be
performing at Super Bowl fifty nine.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Will you be pulling up?

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I hope so you know there's only one opportunity to
win a championship. No round tools. Let's get it, Boom.
I won't want you to miss it. Meet me in
New Orleans, February ninth, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
What are your best dress too?

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Even if you're watch it from home, Let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Dare I say that that was not my first choice
for the halftime show? I mean, I think it's always
a huge nod to your success if you're able to
get that. I just feel like if you were to
line up you know people and say, hey, can you
name five Kendrick Lamar songs like that.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Boom boom boom, I feel like he wouldn't find that many.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Some are saying that little Wayne would have been a
great fit because you know, New Orleans is his hometown,
and if you were going to go with a rapper,
why wouldn't you have gone with Wayne? Again, jay Z
makes the decisions for the Apple Music halftime show, so
we'll see. By the way, Usher was celebrating twenty years
of Confessions on Good Morning America and talked about using

(03:37):
roller skates at the halftime show last year.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
I wanted to bring that element to my world.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Yeah, Atlanta, skating is something that's culturally kind of connected
to you know, what we do and how we enjoy ourselves.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
So I just made it a part of this major
moment that I would.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Have for the Super Bowl, passing off the torch to Kendrick.
All Right, and that announcement I felt like came very early.
Typically it doesn't hit us until October. And then last
and three things you need to know. Congrats to Taylor
and Travis, at least someone had a good time this week,
and you're gonna see them all over social they were
in New York celebrating a wedding and the US Open,
and of course now Travis, I'm sure very much back

(04:11):
to work, getting ready to play us. All right, that
is three things you need to know for the ninth
of September.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
