Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss one,
I was seven to one.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Who Friday the thirteenth, what's up?
Speaker 3 (00:12):
What's good? Facing adversity? Head on today? Not going to
live in fear of.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
The black tabby cat crossing the street. But that head
is on a swivel. One hundred percent. Head is on
a swivel, staying alert, staying aware. How are you, guys?
(00:39):
I needed this to be Friday. I don't know what
it is about. I think it's maybe it's because I
coach field hockey and for high school and we're just
kind of like out later than normal. I don't I
don't even think it's that. But my alarm this week
has felt like a challenge, and I'm trying to think
of as reasons as to why I feel like it's
(01:01):
I mean, you and I both started to realize. I
bet how that the sun is starting to rise later
and set.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
A little bit earlier than usual.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
I don't think it's that, because it's it's not like
the sun was ever up at the hours I was awake.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
But I don't know. Maybe it's the temperature. I don't know,
if the body's hibernating. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
But I'm ready for it to be Friday and September weekends.
I posted this on Twitter, September weekends are so full
and so back to back to back that you if
you don't take time to enjoy the beautiful fall weather
and you know, a mix of fall in summer weather,
(01:42):
it'll just go by like that, right.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
You know the countdown meme.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I haven't quite seen it on socially yet, but you
know it's coming, the one that counts down to how
many days to Halloween, the Thanksgiving to Christmas to twenty
twenty five?
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Oh my god. So I encourage you.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
To try to take some time and just enjoy whatever's
around you. And I don't know if you can necessarily
take time for yourself, but you know, if you can
at least try to be present in some of those moments.
Fall sports, right, kids doing this, kids doing that. I
forgot what it was like to watch TV on a
Sunday during the day and have your whole day just
go right.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Begles start at one o'clock.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Days over at that point, unless you're motivated enough to,
you know, get stuff done after the game. But I'm
so excited that we're playing at four twenty five this weekend. Oh,
and I'm sure you know. We'll talk more about it
in Three Things later on in the show. But I'm
sure Taylor will be there. I just like having the
first part of my Sunday wide open. Oh, Keto Ke
coming up. Well, we have a lot to talk about.
(02:39):
We'll touch base on Britney Spears around six thirty five
this morning, but have a deeper conversation and the three
things you need to know to get your day started in.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
Sind See at six fifty. I often say it, but
I really mean it. You know, radio doesn't exist. Just
in your car.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Search Kiss one oh seven one on iHeartRadio from your phone.
That way you can kind of take us wherever you
go this morning.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
Things with TIF on Kiss. When I was seven one.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Good morning, We're just before seven o'clock. And when this
news came out yesterday around twelve or one, I couldn't
wait to get in here and chitchat with you about
it that Cincinnati has officially made the finalist list for
a future home of the Sun Dance Film Festival. Do
you remember us talking about this maybe a couple months
ago that since he was among a greater group of finalists.
(03:32):
Well now it's down to three US Boulder and then
Salt Lake City once again. Salt Lake or I'm sorry,
Park City, Utah will hold on to the festival for
the twenty twenty five and twenty twenty six years, but
for twenty twenty seven they're looking to either move it
to like I said, a Boulder, Sincy or Salt Lake City, Utah.
All three finalists were assessed on equity, values, infrastructure, and
(03:56):
capabilities to host the festival, in addition to straating ways
in which they'll continue to foster the diverse Sundance community
and inspire the next generation of independent filmmakers. Mayor afteb
Sem we are a static to continue being considered as
the next host city for the Sundance Film Festival. As
long time attendees, we believe Cincinnati's dedication to the arts, hospitality,
(04:20):
and historic historic theater makes it a great fit.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I love this idea.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
You know, we have our own Cincinnati Film Festival happening
the same weekend as Octoberfest, which is next weekend, and
I was looking at the events due this looks legit.
I say, you know, Bike Riders was filmed entirely here
and since y with Austin Butler and Tom Hardy, and
I've played the clip of the of when I interviewed
the director and he just said so many great things
(04:48):
about being here and our arts and our culture are
top notch. So updates on that when they come, you know,
I'll have it for you, all right. Second, and three
things you need to know this morning. Let's talk about
Britney Spears because the internet's a little bit of buzz
about it, and typically our Brittany video content, we just
got to scroll past them.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
We've learned, you know.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
I feel like the Free Britney movement kind of quieted
down once the conservatorship ended and we got britt We
saw a light into what Britney's life is really like now.
Whether or not she needs a conservatorship. I can't speak
to that because I'm not in her inner circle, but
it seems like she's very just.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
Isolated in alone, and.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yesterday she posted a video about the VMAs. I feel
like I'm a good judge of character on a sense
of humor, and that's what she's going for in this content. Okay,
she's trying to be silly, which I like, I respect
that and I appreciate that. For me, it was the
look and it was the voice. Listen to Britney's voice.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Okay, so did you guys watch the VNAs. I don't
watch the VMA's, but I did see stuff on my
phone for YouTube of Sabrina Carpenter kissing an alien on stage.
I adore her, I love her today. I didn't understand
that part, why didn't you kiss a girl?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Like that?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Was weird?
Speaker 5 (06:14):
But I also thought that, like the whole thing was
kind of like weird altogether. But after that, after watching that,
I took a really long bath and I am actually color.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I'm into coloring right now.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
I like to color and I like to trace the
pictures and then go back over it with like I
just know why I'm talking about that or why I'm
so oh, It's because.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
It's Sabrina girl.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
She uh she said my name on the red carpet,
and I thought that was kind of cool because I
forget I'm famous sometimes.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
Okay, Number one, the content right was funny. The reason
why she said why did she kiss a girl? Is
because she has one of the most iconic VMA performances
all time where she and madonachist Okay.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
So I guess she should be in still there.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
It also sounds like she just has a touch of adhd,
you know, you.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
Go from one topic to the next. I can relate
to that.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
But again, the quality of the voice and then the look.
There was something about the look she had mentioned in
the video. I'd just taken a bath. I said, well,
why aren't you using a makeup wipe like and why
don't you just throw away you know what, let's just
throw away all of your eyeliner and mascara while we're
at it. Let's just get rid of it. You don't
need it. You clearly don't know how to use it.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
I get it. I don't know how to use it.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Sometimes watch a TikTok YouTube, a TikTok tutorial on it. Yeah,
her voice just sounds like bad. It just sounds bad.
Maybe she recorded that first thing in the morning. Again,
I'm not in her inner circle, but I just don't
know what's to come off. Britney and I just look
(07:45):
back at the old VMA's performances because they've been circulating, and.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Like Megan, the stallion just paid tribute.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
To Brittany the other night by wearing the famous I'm
a Slave for You snake, the yellow one. I'm not
wearing that, but she wore it. I just don't know
what's to come, and I don't know. I do love
how Britney fans will always rise to the occasion. They
started streaming her song work Bitch because one of her
sons finally reached the age of eighteen, and the rumor
(08:14):
was that Kevin Federline was gonna stop receiving child support
payments from her while the man just lives his life
in Hawaii.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I don't know if that's the case.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
I don't know how child support works, but I don't
think it just stops at the age of eighteen.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
All right? That is so?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Don't we still have one more thing?
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Hello, Hello, It is New Music Friday. I've been talking
about this weekend song for the last couple of days.
Here's a clip as a reminder. It's called Dancing in
the Flames.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
Can see miss.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
This is my favorite type of weekend.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
I know that others like the original able I can't
feel my I just I love this.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I love this song.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
I didn't like him in the HBO show the clips
that I did see of it.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
But I do like this song. So that's off his
new album.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
We don't have a release date, but that album will
be the final one in the trilogy. Okay, that's three
things for Friday the thirteenth, Hello, Coming up at seven
o five, I'll have the full weekend song Dancing in
the Flames, a part of Tiff in the Morning, and
Kiss one O seven one's new music Fridays to just
to live your best life and not miss the show.
(09:40):
You can always access us through iHeartRadio by searching Kiss
one O seven one Good Morning.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
You're waking up with fifth in the Morning, Kiss one
Good Morning.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Text conversations with a random stranger. When's the last time
you had one of those? Has this ever happened to you?
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Where?
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Or someone else must have had your number at some
point maybe, and you've gotten a flood of text messages
from random people thinking that you're someone else that you're not.
I've had my same phone number for years and years
and years, so I don't know how this is happening.
But I just got another text message for a girl
(10:21):
named Annie two days ago, so I said, all right,
if something happens more than three times. You know the
rule on the show, we talk about it. My alter
ego must be Annie. The first one came in and
sat in Saturday from a random This is an eight
six to oh numbers.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Someone tell me where eight six O is.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
I just got an email saying Annie has breast cancer.
It seems that it's progressive. Things may change. Though that
was in June. Then on July the same number, says
Happy Forth of July, I didn't respond to either of
those because I'm just not gonna put the energy and
the effort into it. And then finally, this past Wednesday,
(10:59):
says Annie, I hope you remembered that the brunch is
still on for September nineteenth at eleven thirty.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
Let me know, love Mom.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
And I'm like, Mom, Mom, Mom, do you not have
Annie's real number? Have you not talked to Annie since
the middle of June?
Speaker 3 (11:22):
What's going Is this a strained relationship? You know what's
going on with you guys?
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Really I want to know more about what's going on
between Mom and Annie. That she thought it was okay,
that she hasn't got a response from her daughter since
the middle of June. Hope you had an easy drive home.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Love Mom? Are you and Annie never texting? I don't know.
I'm so curious about this relationship.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Did you see Annie and then you see her in
person and then you never see her again?
Speaker 3 (11:56):
What's going on here?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
And I must have been in the middle of something
on why say, because I never responded to her to
make sure, like, Hey, I just want to let you
know this.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
That's probably my bad. You guys.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Should I hit her up this morning and say, hey,
good morning, this isn't Annie. Hope your daughter's alive and well,
hope better better. More importantly, I hope you guys can
foster a better relationship between the two of you. I mean,
I know my mom's unhinged, but my god, I would
tell she'd be a little concerned if she hadn't heard
back from me since the middle of June.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Okay, I wish I could say that that's the that
was the end of it.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Then I get another text message the night of the fireworks,
so over Labor Day weekend from a two to one
three number, and he says, or I'm assuming it's a guy,
Let's have an outdoor barbecue tomorrow and I'll pick you up.
And I said, okay, like someone's inviting me to a
barbecue and I don't have to drive. Hell yes, he said,
(12:50):
I'll pick you up at eleven and I said, where
is this cookout happening? And they responded with the Bay Area,
And in my head, I'm like, oh, wait a minute,
I actually don't know this person because I meet a
lot of people out and about and I typically try
to exchange Instagrams, but you know, then I said, I
don't know where where are you? And then he said
(13:12):
I'm in the Bay Area of California. I said, oh,
I'm I'm in Cincinnati and he said, oh, you're not Annie.
I said, no, I'm Tiffany said sorry, I may have
entered the wrong number. I hope I'm not disturbing you.
We went on to text for several more hours after that, like,
I have a better understanding, but I need to get
to the bottom of who Annie is five one three, seven.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Four nine, one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
If this is sounding familiar to you, or maybe you
know an Annie, I would.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Love to know more about her.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Maybe we can create an alter ego for Annie together
on the show Good Morning, You're Waking Up with tiff
in the Morning On kiss one oh seven one high
here on the air.
Speaker 7 (13:50):
Hi, good morning, how are you.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I'm well, thanks for joining my silly little conversation this morning.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
You have any ideas for me?
Speaker 7 (13:56):
Yeah? So I didn't really have any ideas, but I
had a possible second spot. Okay, maybe Annie and her
mom doesn't have a great relationship, and maybe Annie decided
to cut her mom off.
Speaker 8 (14:11):
So that's why she.
Speaker 7 (14:12):
And her mom doesn't speak very much.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Okay, that's that could be a good point.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
I also think Annie's mom lives in Connecticut because Annie's
mom's texting me from an eight to six to Oho number. Meanwhile,
the guy that she's hooking up with has a California
number and wants to take her to a barbecue in California.
So maybe Annie's mom doesn't know that Annie's moved to
California because she still wants her to come to the
(14:37):
lunch on the nineteenth at one o'clock.
Speaker 7 (14:41):
I mean, that's very possible too, or maybe I don't know,
Like I got.
Speaker 9 (14:46):
To put in all these thoughts to the opinions here,
like maybe Annie he does don't want anything to do
with her mom.
Speaker 7 (14:52):
She's like, you know what, I'm moving out of Connecticut.
I'm going to Cali and I'm getting all these Cali boys.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah, I'm going to and I'm going to the barbecues.
I'm going to the barbecues.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
I'm gonna meet the guys. They're gonna drive. That's great
because I hear driving.
Speaker 7 (15:04):
On this they have to come pick me up.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah, because driving in California sucks. So she's getting a ride.
That's great. But I genuinely feel bad for the mom
who hasn't once connected with her daughter since the middle
of June, and she's really putting in a lot of effort.
Speaker 9 (15:22):
Okay, so maybe Annie has some like personal things going
on that would cause her the I don't know, Like
I just know firsthand having to cut a parent out
of our lives.
Speaker 7 (15:36):
But obviously for personal reasons, you know, not being on
the radio and sharing that. Maybe that's what's going on.
Or maybe Annie just wanted to go around and be
the town.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
She's doing. Oh my god, I'm dying.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
What's your name, by the way, what neighborhood you waken
up with me in this morning?
Speaker 7 (15:57):
My name is Heather and I'm calling from the northern Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Oh I love you, Thank you for the call.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
I appreciate you if you're just walking into this unhinged conversation.
I have been getting text messages for a girl named Annie,
and we've been trying to piece together Annie's life this morning.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
So if you have any opinions on what.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
The deal is here with Annie, what you think her,
you know, alter egoist, what's going on? Or maybe you
have someone that has texted you thinking you're the wrong
you know this one person, feel free to join the show.
We've got a few minutes until we move on to
the three things you need to know to get your
day started in Cincy. I need to know whether or
not I should text Annie's mom back or if I
should just let it go let me know, But I
(16:44):
need to turn my microphone on to doom my job.
But first of all, I love that song. I knew
the words to that song and the lyrics like far
too early in my life.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
How are you happy?
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Friday?
Speaker 2 (16:55):
I hear that the new iPhone sixteen. We had talked
about the emoji a couple of days ago that there
was gonna be some, but now we know which ones
there are going to be, and the one that sticks
out to me the most that might relate to you,
especially at this hour in the morning, is that there's
a tired emoji with bags underneath the eyes.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
So there you go.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Just know that that's to come, probably with your next
iPhone update, which I have absolutely zero storage for on
my phone. I'm still operating with an iPhone twelve mini. Okay,
coming up in two songs, we're gonna get to the
three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sincy. I'm obsessed with the idea of this
(17:36):
one thing coming to Cincinnati. I'm so excited for it.
I'm putting all the good juju. I'm putting all my
good juju, all my eggs in this basket. If you
have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll get to
that more than three things next.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
When you need to know She's got you, it's.
Speaker 1 (17:52):
Three things with.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Well, good morning, good morning, and we're just before eight
o'clock and we're gonna start off with the Sundance Film Festival.
I'm so excited for those like I feel it in
my bones that we're gonna win this competition. If you
don't know what I'm talking about a couple of months ago,
do you remember me mentioning that Cincinnati was in the
running to host the Sundance Film Festival.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Well, it was announced.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Yesterday that we are officially one of three finalists for
twenty twenty seven. As of the next two years, it
will continue to be hosted in its city that has
been for forever Park City, Utah, but US Salt Lake City, Utah,
and Boulder, Colorado are now in the running for twenty
twenty seven. All the finalists were assessed on equity, values, infrastructure,
(18:42):
and capabilities to host the festival in addition to demonstrating
ways in which will continue to foster the diverse Sundance
community and inspire the next generation of independent filmmakers. I'm
so excited. Mayor Aftab said, we are a staff to
continue being considered as the next host city for the
(19:02):
Sundance Film Festival.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
As long time attendees, we.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Believe Cincinnati's dedication to the arts, hospitality, and historic theater
makes it makes us rather a great fit. We are
inspired by the idea of partnering with partnering with the
Sundance Institute to celebrate the festival's rich legacy while introducing
a dynamic, walkable and accessible new venue.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
I don't do well with competition because I'm just like, no, like,
I'd rather just be like you do it.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
You know, it's fine, I'm ready to win. Let's go.
Let's put our eggs in this basket.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
We have our own festival actually happening here next weekend.
The Cincinnati Film Fest looks legit, guys. The tickets look cool.
There's lots of red carpet events. There's a singles night
on Friday sponsored by iHeartMedia. I really hope to be
able to pop in throughout the three days worth of events,
but definitely worth checking out, so I'll keep you posted
(19:58):
if we end up scoring the win on that one.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
All right.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Belle Caalise al Mansar had her third baby. And if
you're like, who is that, that's Cardi b pictures came
out yesterday.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Baby.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I had talked about it like earlier in the week,
but it hadn't been confirmed. She did post on social
that the babe came on Saturday. It's a baby girl
and I don't have a name for you. She did
not announce that on social, but there was a carousel
of picks between her and Offset and their other children,
Wave and Culture and if you remember when Carti announced
(20:37):
this pregnancy, which wasn't very long ago, maybe a month,
maybe maybe six weeks ago. She also dropped the fact
that her an Offset are getting a divorce.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I don't know. It really seems like Cardi B doesn't
want a divorce. Offset.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
We'll see if anything comes from them. Oh my god,
I'm choking.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
I' dying. Hold on, I'm so sorry.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Finally, in three Things You Need to Know New Music Friday,
we just watched Katie Perry except the Vanguard Award the
other night. Now we have the third single offer album
one four three. This is called I'm His, He's Mine,
and this is featuring Doci time.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
I'm his green, I'm his freak.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Naked, I'm his dream, I'm his drug.
Speaker 10 (21:29):
I'm never so what, I'm his boss, I'm dead, I'm
never he knows exist. I'm his man, I'm his son,
I'm in his mind, He's mine.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
If you're wondering who that sample is, it's Gypsy Woman
by Crystal Waters. I'll have a clip for you in
our next hour. I didn't get a chance to pull it. Also,
we have a brand new one from Tate McCurry. Guys,
you need to watch this music video. You need to
watch him. I like the song as well. It's called
I'm Okay, I'm Okay.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Here's a gli It's okay, I'm okay, and I'm in
the first place.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
It's okay, I'm okay, Okay, it's okay, I'm okay.
Speaker 10 (22:14):
I don't really gotta say it's okay.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
You can have them, you know. She was just at
the VMAs the other night.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
She was dressed very similar to a former Britney Spears
outfit worn at the VMAs. Tate McCray is definitely coming
into her own, but she does pull a lot of
early two thousand's fashion into whatever she's doing at the moment.
And the music video for I'm Okay, I'm Okay reminds
me a lot of this.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Song O.
Speaker 11 (22:45):
He you Bo's gonna be to what He's got.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
He loves he loves you, Absolutely know. I just wanted
an excuse to play that song. If you want to
look up, if you want to listen to that song later, it's.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Dream he loves you not.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
But the styles in that music video compared with the
ones that Tate just released are very similar. All right,
that's three things you need to know for the Oh
my god, it's Friday the thirteenth.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
Let's talk about superstitions.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
They could be Bengals related, since we're taking on the
Chiefs on Sunday at four twenty five. Do you have superstitions?
Do you believe in superstitions? What are your weird superstitions?
Do they work for you?
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Do they not?
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Search Kiss on iHeartRadio to continue to be involved in
the conversation. And that's also where you can talk back
with Tiff. The microphone right next to the play button.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
Hold that down. You got thirty seconds.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Good morning, You're waking up with Tiff in the morning
on Kiss one oh seven Once speaking of jay Z
Lil Wayne actually said something about the super Bowl halftime show.
I'm gonna that for the three things you need to
know later in the hour already fifty Okay, Hi, it's
Kiss one o seven one. I don't know if I
said my name, but I'm supposed to do that every time.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
I'm Tiff. If we haven't met yet, Hello, good morning.
Coming up.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Two songs for now Friday the thirteenth, We're gonna talk
about your superstitions. No matter how ridiculous they may be,
or if they work for you or not. They even
they might even be like Bengals related because of Sunday's game.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
I'll take anything chilly.
Speaker 12 (24:27):
But one of my superstitions that I actually still have
is breaking a mirror and having bad luck for seven years.
I am very careful around mirrors, you know.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
I do find myself being cautious around them as well.
It's funny are how our superstitions came about. I don't
even like, how do I even learn about that? You know,
we'll get to more of those than two songs. If
you've got one thing, give for the talk back with TIF.
It's just a fun, silly way to get involved in
the show. When you search kiss on iHeart Radio the
microphone sex to the play button. But I also would
love to hear your voice this morning as well on
the phone five one three seven, four nine, one oh
(25:03):
seven one.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Good morning to all those Friday the thirteenth babies out there.
Speaker 13 (25:08):
Happy birthday. Don't find anybody ruin your day.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Yeah you're waking up with kiss in the morning time.
Kiss one.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Absolutely Happy birthday to you. If it is your birthday today,
I'm sending you all the good luck and the good vibes.
We're in the midst of talking about your superstitions on
Friday the thirteenth, and I usually like to do this
once or twice throughout the Bangal season just to see
if we have any silly, fun Bangal superstitions as well.
So more than welcome to just kind of jumping at
(25:35):
your leisure.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
When you search kiss on iHeartRadio, the microphone sex to
the play button, We're gonna just rattle through them.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
My superstition and my family on Friday the thirteenth.
Speaker 6 (25:45):
It applies to all of us.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
None of us can wear black.
Speaker 13 (25:49):
If any of us wear black at all, something will
always happen to one of us. I feel like that
always happened when I was in the seventh grade. Moody
and my family wore black on Friday the thirteenth, and
I broke my finger that day.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
Oh my god, not the finger, not the finger, way.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
Right long.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
All right, let's keep it going, Chili.
Speaker 12 (26:23):
But one of my superstitions that I actually still have
is breaking a mirror.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, that's a good one. We know that one.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
I am one of.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
Those people who when I drive either around a lake
or over a bridge. I pulled my windows down.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
I always have.
Speaker 8 (26:43):
I just I always feel like if anything would ever happened,
I want my windows down so that I can easily
get out.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Okay, decent soup sisso.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Right in long. You know.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
The thing about super recisions is I find that it's
always something that stems from childhood.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Like the girl with the finger.
Speaker 6 (27:06):
A bird pooped on me at my high school graduation
while we were standing outside lining up. I mean, I
guess I have a good job now, so I guess
it gave me luck for college in the future. But
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
There we go, I don't mind its law all right,
we got time for a few more. Let's see what
else we have now we already heard from you. Thank
you for the talk back. What else at least one
more a bird? No, we just heard from you.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Come on.
Speaker 14 (27:38):
My weird superstition is I can't cross the day off
on the calendar until the next day. I feel like
if I crossed today off on the calendar before it's over,
I'll die Wow a.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Little morbid, but law, good morning.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
You're waking up with tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. We're talking about superstitions. Obviously, with
it being Friday the thirteenth.
Speaker 14 (28:10):
I just want you to know that all three of
my children were born on the thirteenth. My son was
a Friday the thirteenth, and it's a lucky day for me.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Heck yeah, break in, break in the superstition, break in
the tradition. I'm sorry, break in the superstition and creating
the traditions.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Here this.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Wall.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
All right, good morning, you're on the air. Thanks for
stopping by Tip in the morning.
Speaker 15 (28:38):
Okay, So my dad, obviously he passed back in twenty thirteen,
but he was a huge Gngles fan of his whole life.
And back when Carson Palmer and then won the playoff game,
he was eating chicken wings and he decided that those
chicken wings were lucky. So he deponed them, dried them,
painted black and orange stripes, and he threw them in
front of the TV after everything, before every game.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
You have loose old chicken wings that you've hung on
the three years.
Speaker 16 (29:00):
Oh my god, Like I wish I had them, truly,
but I don't.
Speaker 15 (29:04):
Kind of not sad about it.
Speaker 16 (29:06):
Yeah, but yeah, so his chicken bones were those were
his thing. And I was, and then I mean on
top of like the clothes and everybody else's weird traditions. Yes, yeah,
so if they were losing, he'd Vatan leave the room.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
So that is funny. What's your name? What neighborhood you
call me from?
Speaker 15 (29:23):
Missy from New Richmond.
Speaker 3 (29:24):
Thank you for the call, Missy. I appreciate you girl.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
A lot of the superstitions I've heard on the show
this morning all kind of stem from childhood or something
Bangles related. Speaking of I have a poll on our
stories right now. Do you think that Taylor Swift will
be at the game this weekend?
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Yes? Or no?
Speaker 3 (29:43):
At Kiss one oh seven.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
When you need to know she's got you, It's three
things with tip on Kiss, Good morning, Happy Friday, A
little bit more on the cloudy side today, and pretty
mu which no rain.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
I thought we were going to get some remnants of
the hurricane. It doesn't look like that.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
And then some.
Speaker 2 (30:04):
Scattered clouds, partly cloudy by Sunday and just mix of
fall weather this weekend, temperatures in the seventies and lower eighties.
Let's start off with our game against the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
Whoo.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
I'm really really looking for some Redemption this weekend. Jamar
Chase was asked about the rivalry in you know, between
our two teams, and here's what he said.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
Everybody knows that. Bro, it's not no if you know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 17 (30:32):
We are then team to be in ALC and we
know it, and we got to act like it and
we gotta play like it too. Oh yeah, the energy
is there both sides. I'm sure they know we don't
like them, they know they don't like us, So I
mean the ins are already there is not really much
we got to say now to this point. It's been
four years now, so everyone gets it.
Speaker 9 (30:47):
The turpin of the talking.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Does that make it more fun for you in the game?
Speaker 17 (30:51):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying. When the media come,
y'all just blow it up and then make some stuff
out of it. But I'll just wait for the game
coming out, all right.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Courtesy of a channel line for the vide I liked
how Jamar and Chase said.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
You know, the media typically.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Blows things up and we try to stay focused.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
Is essentially what I got out of that.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
And that's really what I'm hoping for this weekend, Like
we really really need a good game.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Got some wise words, but that Cincinnati mayor.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
No, your role is shut your mouth.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
We really need it, We really.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
Need we need Joe Burrow to show up. We need
everyone to just show up.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Please please, please please.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
I put up a pole on social media there our
kiss account on whether or not Taylor is going to
be there.
Speaker 3 (31:39):
I think so.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
I mean, she's pretty much at every Travis game these days,
and of course, coming off of the VMA's I played
that audio all day yesterday. I think she'll be there,
Like a lot of eyes will be watching the two
of us this weekend because we've got that four to
twenty five game.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
And Bengals fans like, please, like we.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
Just need to put good juju out there, please please please?
All right, Second, and three things you need to know
this morning kind of in vain with football. Let's talk
about the halftime show now. Well, I'll let me just
play the audio first and then I'll talk about it
a little. Wayne I was surprised about this, but he
went on Instagram Live and talked about how sad he
was at not being chosen for the New Orleans Bowl.
Speaker 18 (32:19):
That heard a lot, you know what I'm talking about.
I heard a whole lot I blame myself for not
being mentally prepared for a letdown, for just automatically mentally
putting myself in that position, like somebody told me that
was my position. So I blame myself for that. But
I thought that was nothing, you know, I thought that
(32:40):
was nothing embedded in that best spot in that stage
and that platform.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
I don't think because you're from the city, you automatically
get the bid to be the performer. And Lil Wayne
I wouldn't consider him a new rapper. So I don't
know if it's because not long ago. Actually it was
when our were in the Super Bowl. They kind of
went with like a throwback theme that year, So I
don't know if they're like, we kind of already done,
(33:06):
we did that, We're not. We're gonna go with like
more of a new era, which I get. There is
no bigger rapper in the game right now than Kendrick Lamar,
and he does have hits, of course I play them.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
When the announcement was made.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
I am just curious to see how everyone reacts to
the show. I think he'll most certainly put on a
good show, but usually halftime performers have to have a
catalog that reaches enough people that you know more than
like three songs, you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 3 (33:34):
All right?
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Lastly, in three things you need to know this morning,
it's the music Friday. Let's talk about the newest one
from Shawn Mendes.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
We saw him at the VMAs.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
He's got a new one out called No One Knows
or Nobody Knows rather, this is probably the third new
song he's released in the last month or so.
Speaker 3 (33:51):
Here it is it is.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Ghost.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
I feel like he's just kind of graduated from that
poppy Shawn Mendez that we knew, and he's transitioning into
a new era. And you know who did that, Harry Styles, Right,
he went from being in the boy band to putting
on a few kind of miss singles that did all right,
didn't do well on radio, but then eventually became the
biggest artist in the pop world for I mean still is,
but for two solid years with two big albums. So
(34:38):
who knows, maybe Shawn Mendez will follow a similar track.
I want to play a quick one from the weekend,
just to give you a little taste.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
This is called Dancing in the Flames.
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Boy to se.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
Miss I like, if you haven't heard it, in full.
Have that for you coming up around nine oh five
for New Music Friday on Kissuano Seva. One the best
way to keep listening is on my hradium. Good morning,
