months behind bars yesterday in front ofa New Mexico judge. She'll serve her
time at a woman's correctional facility inthe state. And let me tell you

this, eighteen months for involuntary manslaughterdoesn't seem like a lot, especially if
you stack it up against nonviolent drugcrimes. Right. Curious to see how
much time she actually spends behind bars. And by the way, Alec Baldwin's

someone's wedding and then two years lateryou get this phone call from them.
Let me set the scene for you. So, my best friend, Hannah
lives in LA. We went toschool together in Boston. When we were
together two weekends ago, she's like, hey, do you remember my friend?
Like, yeah, she had goneto They live in LA. They

did a bachelorette party in Miami,they did a wedding on the East Coast,
where she's originally from, and thenthey did a wedding in the South
of France. Okay, so threemajor celebrations for this wedding in the time.

Yeah, of course, it's atrip to the South of France,
et cetera. Two years later,she gets a phone call from her that
says, yeah, the relationship isn'tworking out. We're in the process of
getting a divorce twenty four months withinthe twenty four after the wedding in the

South of France, and listen,should this be your first reaction? No,
it shouldn't, but I'm gonna justcall it out like I know it
is. Your first inclination is tobe like, oh my god, I
spent so much money on that wedding, then followed by of course heartbreak for
your best friend, right, whois you know suffering obviously some really intense

emotions and divorces and separations and relationship. I know, not the divorce part.
I know that relationships are very delicateand breakups are really really hard.
Trust me, I'm familiar with thatscene. But that is so much money
to spend on a wedding immediately followedwithin two years by a divorce. And

so of course our same question,we have the same question what happened,
Like, how would you go throughwith not one, but two, but
three big, big, big celebrationsif you were unsure about the wedding?
And when Hannah had asked her,she had said, I don't know.
I kind of felt it in themoment that it wasn't right, but I
was just trying to force it tomake it feel right, which is sad

in general, because you got someonein your inner circle, it might even
be you that has felt that beforeand you just so desperately wanted to work
out and it doesn't. But onthe other side of the table, Hannason,
they're like, mmm, I'm herefor you, girl. But at
a wedding in the south of France, a bachelorette party in Miami, and
then a an additional wedding on theEast coast when you live in LA that's

at least at least eight thousand dollarsat least. So I'm just curious if
anyone has experienced something like this before. Granted, the bride is you know,

is entered into without a lot ofthought and reflection and communication, you are

of openness. So I wouldn't sayit's automatically a toxic thing or automatically something
that's going to ruin your relationship.But I do think the level of care
that you take to really explore whetherit's for your relationship or not is essential

for sure, absolutely absolutely. AndI think for a lot of people that
open it up, they have chaptersin their relationship. You know, maybe
it was the two of them forten fifteen years they and then they open
something up to do something different,So I think that and then maybe close

that with couples who have had opennessfor years and then have decided to close

it for whatever reason for their relationshipand the health and safety of their relationship.
So yeah, I am a believerthat it can go always in all
the different ways, but I alsothink that it really does come down to
